Today we're going to look at

Acts chapter 1 verse 6.

This is a little bit different translation.

This is the New Living Translation.

It says this,

So how was the big dance?

How has school been?

How was the big game?

Chances are there's a little bit of a letdown.

Whenever you plan anything and whenever

you make expectations for something

there's always a chance of let down.

So imagine this. About 2000 years ago

Jesus is on top of the Mount of Olives

and he's about to ascend into heaven —

a day we call Ascension.

And that means all his work had been completed.

So the disciples are all around

and Jesus is right here after coming

to this earth as true man.

Living perfectly in our place,

dying on the cross in our place,

and being raised to life as predicted

and prophesied in the Old Testament.

I would consider that a pretty successful plan.

So you can imagine if I get excited over an "A,"

if you get excited over a good grade

on a big test or winning a big game,

how did Jesus' disciples feel

when one of the greatest events-

the greatest event in human history

came to its culmination?

They said this,

"Lord, has the time come for you to

"free Israel and restore our kingdom?"

In other words,

"Jesus, is saving the entire world from their sins

"all you're going to do?

"What about our nation?"

This was the greatest event in human history

and his disciples were disappointed about how it went.

Their expectations were not met.

I don't want to break it to you,

but your school dance is not the

greatest event in human history.

There's a pretty good chance you're going to be disappointed.

There's going to be a chance you're

disappointed at school.

There's a chance you're going to be

disappointed at the big game.

But God came to tell you something different.

Jesus has actually come to this earth

and completed our great work.

And there's really only one event

in all of history that's not going to be a disappointment.

That's the day God says, "Welcome to heaven!"

Let's pray.

Dear Jesus, help us stay positive as we make plans.

Please don't let the letdowns keep us

from looking forward to things on this earth,

but help us realize that only heaven will be perfect.

In your name, Amen

sharing about differences between pig and fish collagens,

Well, we are following up with a short one this time round!

We haven't made a second video until now,

because the collagens from the last videos

are still the popular ones among our customers today!

and we know this information is going to be useful for you.

By the way,

we won't be making the comparison between

pig and fish collagens again,

because we've already covered this in a previous video,
