Hey there!
Some of you would have seen us (in previous videos)
sharing about differences between pig and fish collagens,
and what type of collagen to choose.
Well, we are following up with a short one this time round!
We haven't made a second video until now,
because the collagens from the last videos
are still the popular ones among our customers today!
However, there's been appearance of
trending, new collagen products,
and we know this information is going to be useful for you.
By the way,
we won't be making the comparison between
pig and fish collagens again,
because we've already covered this in a previous video,
we'll put up the link to the video at the end
and in the description, if you'd like to go back to it.
We will like to give a kind reminder, however,
that while collagen is important,
inspecting the other ingredients
in the formulation is equally important.
So, do pay attention to what kind of "non-collagen" ingredients
are available as we go through each product.
And before we start, here's a shoutout to our new viewers!
Welcome, and thank you for watching!
This is what the channel does really.
We share Japanese product information every week,
including these sorts of product introductions and comparisons.

Help us grow the channel, but most importantly,
you won't miss any informational videos.
Let's take look at our first collagen product for today:
the Eisai Beauty Chocola Collagen.
If you are familiar with Chocola BB,
then you may already know how popular this product is.
Chocola BB is a brand that almost all Japanese would be familiar with,
and this particular collagen product has been
garnering popularity outside of Japan recently.
This collagen product is formulated with fish collagen.
Now, at first look, we see that we take 3 tablets a day,
for 600mg of collagen per day.
That amount seems lacking when we compare it with other collagen products,
but the other ingredients in the product compensates with their excellence.
There is 50mg of Vitamin C,
which brings out the anti-oxidant benefits of the collagen.
It also contains Vitamin B1, B2, B6, niacin and pantothenic acid,
which revitalises the bounce and colour of the skin.
If you are looking for the one supplement that provides multiple benefits, then we'd recommend this to you!
Here is another hot and trending collagen product,
the SUNTORY Liftage.
It is formulated with 5,000mg collagen,
ceramide and vitamin C, like many collagens do too.
But what makes this special is the ingredient Proteoglycan.
Proteoglycan is well-known for having
a stronger moisturising strength than hyaluronic acid.
Therefore what we can expect from this collagen
is that works in synergy with collagen
to improve the skin's moisture retention.
This collagen is recommended for anyone who often have dry skin,
or want to regain the youthful bounce in their skin.
This can of collagen,
the LOTTE Uru-Up Amino Collagen
is formulated with 5,000mg of low molecular pig collagen.
There are five other ingredients in the formula,
which includes 50mg Vitamin C, hyaluronic acid,
placenta extract and job's tears extract.
This collagen is unique because it contains Job's Tears,
which is rarely found in collagen products.
The main benefit of Job's Tears
is to improve moisture retention in the skin.
Since there are also other ingredients within the can
which help increase moisture retention in the skin too,
we can expect this collagen to help retain the bounce in our skin,
and help deal with dry skin.
It is unfortunate that we are unable
to get some of these collagen products in time for the video.
It says something about their popularity
when you can't find them in the drugstores!
Now this is a brand most of us would know: DHC.
Many of you will be familiar with DHC's tablet collagen?
Well, this powder collagen has twice the amount of collagen content of 5,000mg,
as compared to the tablet ones.
It uses low molecular fish collagen.
While it also contains 50mg of Vitamin C,
this collagen's main purpose is for any user
to concentrate on the intake of collagen
for a more overall skincare.
This next collagen is from FUJIFILM!
Yes, the very same Fujifilm that is into photography technology.
In fact, they use their research through nanotechnology to create the ASTALIFT.
The Astalift Beauty Collagen Powder comes in sticks,
and each stick contains 5,000mg of fish collagen.
Moreover, this collagen is very pure,
in that 80% of its impurities are removed.
It does not have any unique tastes to it,
and has high solubility.
The ingredients that support the function of collagen
include 27mg of Ornithine (Or-knee-thin), and 30mg of Vitamin C.
Another one we'd like to look at from FUJIFILM Astalift
is the Pure Collagen Drink.
We are going to cover this next week or the one after,
but collagen drinks are what you want to go for
if you want quick results.
Even though the bottle is pretty small at 30ml each,
each of them contains 10,000mg of Astalift's unique,
highly concentrated, low-molecular collagen.
This collagen drink is formulated with ingredients
such as 250mg of Vitamin C, 400mg of Ornithine, and ceramide.
It has a pretty good anti-aging support,
considering how much collagen is contained in the bottles.
By the way, the Pure Collagen Drink has a peach yogurt flavour.
Last but not least, the Metabolic BB Placenta.
It may not have the term collagen in its name,
but it is a collagen product that is formulated
with 5,000mg of low molecular pig collagen.
Why doesn't it have the term "collagen" in its name?
Because the brand wants to bring our attention
to the main ingredient - placenta.
It is formulated with 3,000mg of placenta,
which means this another unique supplement
that allows a user to take this much collagen and placenta
together in one supplement.
The other ingredients include low molecular hyaluronic acid,
ceramide, soy isoflavone, and co-enzyme Q10.
Wonect often gets asked:
"Which is the best collagen?"
But that answer is different for all of us,
since each collagen has different purpose,
and the extent of effect will differ from person to person.
Therefore when we purchase collagen, we should ask,
"What kind of collagen do I want?"
"Do I want a powder type? Drink types? Stick types?"
"How much collagen do I want to take in a day?"
And "What are the other ingredients available?"
We hope you liked that video!
