Sirens blaring and the smell of fresh burnt rubber, you panic.
What just happened?
In fact, the worst wreck of your life just happened and the only thing you can do is
wait.
Wait for the word that everyone's ok.
Wait for the help you so desperately need.
Wait for life to get back to normal.
In this day and age, there is nothing in place to bring light to such an ugly situation,
but I look forward to the days when street accidents are filled with joy and peace of
mind.
That day will only come though, when the airbag compartments of all cars are filled with confetti
so that any crash will result in an eruption of paper happiness.
I hate to say it, but if we don't require every vehicle to be stocked with confetti,
the lives of children everywhere will continue to be traumatized.
When small tots are in an accident, it is taxing for them to see their parents who were
driving, so afflicted.
They have to sit and watch the tense exchange of insurance, or in a serious case, as their
sibling is taken away in a stretcher. A burst of confetti would not only make the communication
between drivers smoother by brightening the overall mood, but even give a reason to celebrate.
It reminds us that there is so much more in life than this speed bump.
It's more of a small adjustment.
For example, if you were planning a nice meal with a party of 5, now you have just that,
a PARTY of 5.
Nothing rectifies having a giant bag of air pummel your face as your car comes screeching
to a halt like a precursor of tiny pillows of perfectly packed paper.
As your life is flashing before your eyes, your eyes can focus on the rush of good memories
flying past quicker than you can process.
When you see confetti, you think of the filled eggs at Easter and the assortment thrown in
the Fourth of July parade audience and the party poppers ringing in the New Year and
every celebratory event in between.
The last things you'll be able to dwell on are the challenges you are soon to face.
The goal is to keep your mind occupied with positive memories and constructive thoughts
so that you can make sound decisions on how to react.
The travesty of the crash won't hit you all
at once…the confetti will.
Along with bringing good vibes, the confetti acts as an air filter and freshener.
Filters make the air clean, but in this case, it's the "Bro, those shoes are clean!"
type of clean.
We're also talking fresh, as the kids call it: cool, hip, or fly.
For those who would rather have departiculated air, don't forget the thin nature of the
confetti, allowing it to filter the air as it travels from airbag compartment to automobile.
But for the lives of all the parties, think about the colors.
They're "poppin'" almost as much as Kim K's highlight.
The presence of the confetti gives the air and area an image that qualifies as "on
fleek."
Perception changes a lot about the way we take in events and their information.
Wee youngians to the oldest of the old can easily find an aspect of this multi-faceted
improvement to life that appeals directly to them.
Even though it sounds like a ton of tedious preparation, the confetti can be filled quickly
and easily at the time of your next inspection, or even sooner at any inspection site.
This new development applies universally and is useful for any stage in the game of life.
People may have an issue with this proposal and try to lead you astray by declaring that
littering is a problem, which it undoubtedly is, but last time I checked, happiness isn't
litter.
Think about it, if the confetti is the only thing that keeps you sane, it's totally
worth having it all over the ground in place of littering the world with your negativity.
The confetti can be easily swept away, but you being swept away by the confetti is what
really matters, not to mention the time and effort of recovery saved by having a positive
on-scene experience.
When I was in a car accident a few years ago, I really could've used something to pour
all of my grief into.
Do I think confetti will solve all of your life's problems?
No.
Alleviate your nerves and the pressure of the situation?
Definitely.
When everyone else is having a comfort and joy-filled moment even in their darkest times,
do you want to be the one in a self-dug pit of despair?
I would surely hope not.
Remember always and forever, but especially in the face of distress to keep calm and party
on!
