Charles as you know is 17 years. What you don't know is that it is going to be his birthday
soon so we figured that we would get something for him special. What do you
give the person who has everything? Well in our family we like to make things for
each other for special occasions and we figured
that since Charles loved fidget spinners, that we would do something very special
for him...we would make Charles his own one-of-a-kind fidget spinner.
One-of-a-kind. What it... What are you going to do that one-of-a-kind that nobody
thought of before Chris? Funny you should ask that. What do I do in my day to day life?
Umm, your a doctor. What kind of doctor? Ummm....
Like a foot doctor. No. You cut up people's legs? Sometimes. You cut people's legs off what kind of surgeon
your Nordic surgeon right an orthopedic surgeon and ones working students work
with um feel sauce sometimes what to be cotton Annie what's all fine own full
memory we cut bone so where does do something special that nobody has done
before no one and you will see it here first on the wrench channel so we're
going to make Charles a pigeon spinner odo

protists people so right now we have a butcher looking for a piece of bone for
us you never see what he can do it's a whole different ones here we've
got a one here that might work this is what the butcher came up with so I'm try
that that's a baby cow let's veal shame mr. spork well this is a nice
cylindrical bone in there we're going to try both we got to eat this one and then
use the bone in mouth for sure so this is the first step of getting the bone
that is required the DIY we do not waste stuff in the DIY kitchen leo we actually
bought the Rose cook the roast and then we are going to cut out the bone and use
the bone was that's kind of scary born blows up hair it's kind of so
there's Gary do a little bit of meat on it some of the marrow acting side that's
sort of our smaller piece and then I'm afraid to open this I think it's going
to smell bad this is our beef bone ooh go smell it smells oh my god a little
bit a little bit that doesn't smell a little bit that stinks you're not eating
I know what to rub oil and you're going to boil it Dennis and I smell even worse
and I'm going to kill everything it's making making sound okay will feel at
that take a good look that's smell imagine what this scene here smells like

fun and I have to stand in the rain because that's how I get the shot and
Chris is setting up his vise and that's a pretty good-looking bone like did the
boiling make it harder or did it just clean the stuff off screens of stuff
there's hair on it going on Chris doesn't like when I come around when
he's doing things a bit in the group yeah I'm going to put the gold in the
vise which is done over there this isn't in ninety five minutes we're
going to put this on because or drilling bone so you know anything about bones
you understand that there's a disease called mad cow disease or yeah
compressibility and that comes from small genetic piece of genetic material
called a prion which can be found in the cells of cows or cow material cat
material so to be safe we are going to have a mask what about me you're going
to be far away far away I'm going to be on the camera standing pretty close
there's a mask right there yeah you're I need a mask and you're gonna need one
okay I'm ready are you ready Chris yeah I'm ready so ideally I would have bolted
this vise to the platform here because this platform is up too high but I don't
want to take time to do that so I'm just going to hold it by hand and hope that
it doesn't go flying that's good but I have my eye protection
you do this at the hospital you first got it just got stuck Oh a minute I
didn't take nothing I know this is cow cannot think now we've raised the
platform up a little bit so in order to make this we have to caramelize one of
Charlie's mini fidgets winners so that let me have had to ask Hannibal I was
that mean okay nobody move out oh you just guy right in front of you
deconstruct yeah sure so we have central bearing and then we have the other
bearings which we've taken in so we've drilled a 3/4 inch hole in the in and
this and they're just a little bit too big so I'm going to Dremel this out
dribble I don't have the right propria ties drill bit so than a half to
MacGyver some stuff this is a burr we're going to burn out the inside oh what's
the birth this is a birth why are you so close I'm trying to get it close up this
looks like enough
don't really offended this literally smells like you're at the
dentist it's so disgusting like somebody's teeth
are getting filed down Oh gross now I'm going to cut the bone into
fidgets dinner sighs I thought of me good see how easy it is to cut
somebody's leg in half
Wow I'm impressed that was pretty quick let's see it it
didn't even break breathe out you so far I have three four years space like not
good what did you do on Sunday afternoon I made a bone fidget Center give us an
update here Colonel I have two of these that are roughly sighs it's pretty cool
yeah I'll probably pound them down yeah I don't want to get too aggressive the
bone night crime yeah I think you about to do something crazy
oh man I'm gonna put it all together and then we'll have a statement is it spoon
oh now ain't you drill a small hole yes to cut a small hole for each piece
yeah so that I can have some twine to hold these together you're gonna drill a
hole there and not break it in half that's the plan
that sounded dangerous so now twine that may or may not fit you the hole you're
using special orthopedic knobs to make that yep you done yet Chris taking all
afternoon can't rush greatest I've often said a man's character is not judged
after he celebrates the victory bye-bye but what he does when he's back is
against the wall Mary Hannah all right I was going to say
is that it how supposed to spin I was pretty pathetic I'm first and goal
so there you have it
a couple accomplished up nice Chris could work that looks really amazing but
you know the test is the spinner does it spin me do you need my help
