Hey guys it's me, Maggie J. I had so many stories left over from Florida's Finest #4,
here is Florida's Finest #5.
I did not film a second intro or outro so this voice over will just have to do.
Stephen Loftus started his afternoon at the Ay! Jalisco
restaurant in Vero Beach around 1:30 pm where he drank vodkas until 10 pm, and
at some point, ordered a chimichanga.
His tab amounted to $105, which Loftus could not pay, because he claims Mike, his landlord
was supposed to show up and pay the tab.
Mike flatly denies that claim.
Whether he started off knowing he wasn't going to pay, or whether he saw no way out after
his friend did not arrive, Loftus behaved as you would expect a Florida Man to do, he
pushed his tab to the absolute limit before considering the consequences.
He offered the manager to leave unspecificed collateral until the next day, but Ay!
Jalisco management knew better and called the cops.
Loftus is being charged with defrauding an innkeeper and went off to jail with quite
a buzz.
According to bustedcoverage.com, this is not his first time as a defrauder.
Lock him up Indian River County, this guy is a menace to innkeepers everywhere!
Giselle Taylor wanted her boyfriend to crack her back on February 23rd but he refused.
So she went to the garage, retrieved a loaded handgun, and asked again.
Getting no response, she did what any insane Florida Woman would, she pointed the gun at
his dog and pulled the trigger.
The poor dog was shot in the chest and did not survive.
I would ask how this woman is still alive, but Taylor fled the scene after the shooting
and was stopped shortly after by authorities.
She was taken to Pinellas County Jail on aggravated cruelty to animals charges and I hope they
give her the maximum sentence.
There's not much else to this story, I just wanted to share her name and photo so no one
lets her in their house.
Or near their children.
Or their dogs.
Brandon Rivera has been growing more and more suspicious of his neighbors and on February
20th, his emotions became too much and he could hold back no more.
Believing his neighbors were stealing a variety of items from him, including his lawn mower, Rivera
took a gas can to the neighbors, poured some gas through a crack in the window of a Corvette
and attempted to ignite it, but was unable.
So he opened the door and poured gas right onto the drivers seat and that sparked right up!
The neighbors were able to put out the fire using a water hose, but I'm sure there'll
be some damages that needs to be paid for.
No word on if the lawn mower was discovered or recovered.
Must not have been that important.
Rivera was probably just jelly of that new Corvette.
Guys, don't let jealousy get the best of you.
Corvettes might be nice looking and fast, but they cost a fortune and non-Corvette owners
make terrible assumptions about you on sight.
You don't want none of that in your life.
Settle for a Hyundai and no one will try to set it on fire.
95% guarantee on that one.
I'd like to call this woman a personal hero, but she's a drunk driver. So I cannot.
A customer at a Cape Coral Publix exited the store on March 4th and found her vehicle had
been damaged and called police to file a report.
While on the scene, police witnessed Lisa Lehman exit the store, put a shopping bag
into her car, then confess to hitting the damaged car.
While explaining what had happened, Lehman appeared wobbly and smelled of alcohol so she was put
through a field sobriety test.
Which she did not pass.
Inside her car, police found an empty bottle of chardonnay and a fresh bottle of Moscato
that she'd just purchased.
Yes, ladies and gentlemen, she drove into a car, then proceeded to fetch her wine, before
owning up to the crime.
I'd call her the queen of Florida, but it's only March.
I can't give that title away too early in the year now.
So for now, Lehman is being charged with DUI and hit and run charges and I'm putting an
asterisk next to her name.
You other Florida Women better step it up.
Jamie Knight was pulled over for an unremarkable reason and arrested for possessing an unremarkable
amount of marijuana and a pair of brass knuckles, but what makes him eligible for this kind
of highlight is his choice of forehead coverage.
Knight here went with the devil horns look.
I too have been looking for something to cover this big ol' forehad of mine but I think I'm
going to opt against the devil horns.
Although, a true artist is responsible for these horns.
You can tell by the way this one goes way up, to match his hairline, and the other does
not, also to match his hairline.
You better hope you don't lose your hair any quicker than it's been disappearing, Jamie
Knight, or your devil horns are gonna look 8 shades of stupid in about 6 years.
Plan for the future when you're getting tattoos yall.
Trust me on this.
Just like a bad tv drama, this story is going to teach us all a lesson.
Mistie Dawn Cardwell showed up to her ex-boyfriends house in the last week of January and the
victim claims, immediately began aruging with him.
Inside the house, Cardwell grabbed a frying pan from the sink and smashed the ex in the
face, causing a cut and swelling to the left cheek area.
The ex called the police, and while he was on the phone, Cardwell purposely hit her own
head against a light fixture above the sink, breaking the bulb and when authorities arrived,
she claimed she had a head injury and needed transport to the hospital.
The victim here claims he and Caldwell have not been together since 2008, but they have
a child together, so he's stuck with her for at least ten more years.
The lesson to be learned here is don't have children with crazy people.
If you're not sure if someone is crazy, you probably shouldn't sleep with them until you
know a little bit more about them.
Don't wind up like this guy, and so many others.
Protect yourselves.
Don't procreate with these kind of crazies.
A Volusia County family was very upset after their puppy Zeus had escaped from their backyard
and didn't return home.
They made posts through social media asking for the dog to be returned, and eventually
came across photos of their dog, at a neighbor's house, claiming they'd gotten a new member
of the family.
When contacted, the man, Thomas Fleming, demanded $150 for the return of the dog, to which the
family contacted police.
After several visits by police and the family of the missing dog, Fleming gave several reasons
how he came to possess the dog, and despite no one believing him, they couldn't just confiscate
the dog.
So the original owners agreed to pay the $150.
In a church parking lot, Fleming brought Zeus, expecting to leave with some extorted cash,
but insted, was arrested.
I assume he's being charged with some sort of animal theft and shakedown charges, but
they were not specified in the article.
Just know he's not going to go unpunished for this.
Scumbag.
I'm sure I've left out important details of this story, because it is so convoluted, so

A Pasco County Sam's Club has been missing a lot of bacon since November, and they believe
they have just found where it's been going.
Surveillance from 12 different days shows Theodore Rellias allegedly stealing packages
of bacon by concealing them beneath the basket of his shopping cart.
He was not consuming this bacon with his family though.
Rellias owns a restaurant and is suspected of using the stolen bacon to supply that restaurant,
How else would you increase your profit margin?
Good try Rellias but that's not how capitalism works.
Cheap bacon is cool.
Stolen bacon is a crime.
One that I will not let go unshamed, Theodore Rellias!
How dare you! Buy your own bacon!
Christopher Bidzinski is no stranger to police in Cape Coral, earning his third DUI arrest
in three years.
Luckily, police had their body cams on and were filming while they interrupted Bidzinski's
late night fry break by asking him to perform a field sobriety test.
He admits he would not be able to pass one of those, but did offer to do some back flips.
No backflips were performed but he did pull off this sweet, sweet cartwheel, which should
remind us all to do more stretching before we get hyped for a night of drinking.
This is such poor form, we can't be proud of this.
Police found a small bottle of Chardonnay in Bidzinski's truck, and Bidzinski nodded
off for a nap on his way to jail, being charged with DUI.
How about some real consequences for this guy who gives no shits about anyone else's
well being in this state
I know I make jokes about drunk driving but it is an actual killer and we need to be so
much more consistent about the punishments of these kinds of criminals.
A funny story doesn't mean we can let them off the hook.
They're potential murderers. How about we treat them as such?
