GOT7s and shared their thoughts on the Me Too movement that has been sweeping South Korea lately during a recent interview in honor of the groups comeback.

I want to applaud everyone who has courageously spoken up, Jinyoung stated.

I believe there is a lot of unspoken pain everywhere, not just in the cultural or entertainment circles.

I hope that they will be able to shake off their pain and confidently rise up again during and after the Me Too movement.

I hope the Me Too movement becomes a good influence that spreads throughout society in general.

The GOT7 members were also asked if JYP Entertainment provided any education about such matters like sexual violence.

JB revealed, There are many programs within the agency.

We have been receiving sex education since we were trainees.

We can also receive mental care. Park Jin Young thinks that a persons character is the most important thing.

We have always spoken about matters like this, and he also gives us a lot of advice as well..

Good evening, ladies and gentlemen.

What's up, my homies?

It's Matt Bivins.

The other day we asked you guys to send in any questions you might have, any topics of

interest, any philosophical meanderings that that you wanted us to discuss in the upcoming

year and since we talked so much about this "two way conversation" that we would like

to have between the band and you guys, I thought I'd get started immediately and answer a question

tonight that came in.

Tonight's question came from Christina; she asks "When you guys were starting out, were

there any other names for the band that you were considering before you settled on 'Jump,

Little Children'?"

Great question, Christina.

I have discussed this in a blog before a little bit, but I'll go into more depth here, because

bands always love to talk about the names that they didn't choose.

There was one name that we actually played one show using, and that name is…

"International Tea Party".

And as you can tell, it's not very easy to say or remember, so it didn't really fit us

and we sort of canned that the first night.

Our friend Michael Bellar wanted us to use the name "Winston-Salem Grooves", he thought

that was hilarious.

Mike loved to use the word "groove" to describe anything.

Sorry, Mike, didn't work out, we still love you.

On the list was, uh, was a, was the name "Crowjane".

[sighs] It was the name of a blues song much like "Jump, Little Children", but…hmmm.

Crowjane.

Something just feels wrong about it.

Speaking of "wrong", there was an Irish music song called "Fanny Power" that someone suggested

could be the name of a band, "Fanny Power", sure.

And then finally my favorite of the bunch but…ehh…but really not usable, was…uh…was

a suggestion that came from my friend Rosemary: uh, "The Four Mother…" [telephone dial tone]

We went with "Jump, Little Children".

Some of us were really really into it, some were kind of on the fence.

Some of us are still on the fence about the name "Jump, Little Children".

But…in the end we have to admit that the name "Jump, Little Children" has served us

well, and I am glad that we…chose it.

This is the serum.

This is called blueberry jasmine facial serum concentrate and it's for cell energy.

So let's see!

It's small.

it's pretty small.

So this is 5ml and i'll put the price down below so you guys can check out the website

So that was the serum.

I'll try that out after i wash my face. and the next product that i have here is the immediate

skin perfecting beauty mask.

It detoxes, it peels, and it brightens and it firms.

So it detoxes with activated charcoal plus clay, and peels with papaya enzymes, and fruit

acid and brightens with vitamin C and fruit enzymes and it firms with probiotics and vitamin

C. So this is really unique because this facemask isn't your typical facemask.

So opening the box.

There's an instruction.

and then look:this is the mask.

So this is the front.

So what makes this unique is that it is in a powder form.

So you're supposed to put a little bit on your hands and mix it with water.

There's actually a how to use instruction on here.

It says mix one point five tablespoon of synergie powder with one tablespoon of water.

So that's like 1.5 to 1.

For optimal mixing and best application use, use Odacite mask brush.

Apply a thin layer all over face.

Avoid the eye area.

Let it do it's wonders for 10-15 minutes.

Rinse off.

Yeah so.

This is just your typical rise off mask except that it's in a powder form.

So let me wash my face and come back and show you how these products are used.

Hey guys i'm back.

Completely barefaced and i am going to use the odacity synergie immediate skin perfecting

beauty mask.

So i brought a little spoon here.

This is about a teaspoon.

And i am going to put this on my hands using the spoon.

Let me get a better angle for you guys.

So here's the mixed product.

So i'm going to put this on my face.

it's like a gray charcoal mask.

So i'm supposed to leave this on for 10-15 minutes.

It's actually really smooth so just glides on really easily.

But it is kind of a pain to mix but it's really smooth compared to other mud masks that i've

used in the past.

Doesn't really smell like anything.

maybe a little bit of mud.

So now it is completely on my face, as you can see, it is starting to dry in certain

parts.

I only applied a thin layer because I couldn't control the amount of mask that i made because

it was my first time but feels super light for a mudmask.

Ok i think it's almost dry so i'm going to wash it off now.

So after 10 minutes, I washed my face off completely.

It feels really tight.

It feels really smooth.

Skin is a little bit red from washing my face but overall i think my pores do look a little

bit smaller.

It feels smaller.

I'm going to apply my normal toner.

And my normal noesa total mask repair.

Normal skin routine is done, i will use this oil.

it said two to three drops.

Let's do like one drop, one more and one here.

it's quite runny.

Oh it's oily.

It smells so good though.

It is quite oily.

It glides on really well.

Now i see why it said only use one to two drops.

It's really heavy.

I kind of do smell the jasmine but i'm not sure if i smell the blueberry but i don't

really care about the scent to be honest i care about how it works.

My overall review, i'd say I really do love the oil, the jasmine blueberry oil and I do

like the effect of the clay mask but just the fact that i have to do all this mixing

with the spoon in my hands and doing that.

It does leave my sink quite messy because of the loose powder and that kind of sticks

on my sink and all that stuff.

So i think i would use the claymask when i have alot of time on my hands.

And when i feel like i do need a pampering.

For the oil, i think i would use it once a week probably at night when i need an extra

boost.

South Korea's credit default swap premium has reached its lowest rate in 17 months due

to easing U.S.-North Korea tensions.

Financial information provider Markit says the CDS premium for South Korean foreign exchange

stabilization bonds with a five-year maturity... ended 41-point-six-eight basis points Monday,…

two-point-four-six points lower than the previous day.

That lower number reflects a smaller expected risk of a bond default.

Experts say it's most likely a result of U.S. President Donald Trump agreeing to meet North

Korean leader Kim Jong-Un by May.

Good afternoon.

Most areas will have the warmest temperatures of the season today,... and it will feel more

like the end of April.

Seoul will be cloudy but the rest of the country will see at least partly sunny skies along

with normal to good air quality.

Enjoy the warmth while it's here, tomorrow it will rain nationwide, bringing temperatures

back to around the seasonal average.

It will start to rain early tomorrow morning, beginning in the north of the country before

spreading south, while parts of Gangwon-do and Gyeongsangbuk-do provinces could see some

snowfall.

With that, let's take a look at the international weather for viewers around the world.

While most regions will enjoy warm highs along with good air quality, many parts of North

Korea will also see warm temperatures under a good amount of sunshine.

As for the rest of Asia, summer arrived in Delhi and Tuesday was the hottest day of the

year so far in Delhi at 36.2 degrees Celsius.

It will be a scorcher there on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, Australia's eastern grain belt could be drier as an El Nino weather pattern

may develop in the second half of 2018.

Heading to North America, the rain continues on Wednesday in Vancouver, before a brief

pause Thursday when the sun returns.

As for South America, there will be a brief respite from the four-month drought in Argentina

as light rain is in store this weekend.

Taking you to Europe,.. those of you in London, don't put away your scarves and gloves just

yet as winter is on its way back,...

and heavy snow is forecast for parts of London over the weekend.

Lastly to Africa, expect warm weather across the northern and western coasts of Egypt on

And this event was also the final race for the North Korean athletes at the PyeongChang

Paralympics before they return to the North on Thursday.

Ma Yu-chol and Kim Jong-hyon participated in the men's 1-point-1-kilometer sitting sprint.

But with Ma coming in at 3-minutes-59-point-48 seconds,..... and Kim at 4-minutes and 23-point-87

seconds, they ranked 31st and 32nd, respectively,... out of the 36 skiers,.... failing to qualify

for the semi-final round.

The two had also skied in last Sunday's 15-kilometer sitting cross-country event where they finished

last.

But regardless of the results, their participation was significant as it was the first ever appearance

by North Korea at the Winter Paralympics.

summoning of former President Lee Myung-bak.

Saying Lee's denial of the charges insults the Korean public,... the leader of the ruling

Democratic Party Choo Mi-ae urged the prosecution conduct a thorough investigation.

Choo said the fact Lee is facing about 20 charges makes it serious enough to be listed

in the Guinness Book of World Records.

And quite a different mood from the conservative main opposition Liberty Korea Party,...

The opposition party renewed the ex-president's political revenge claim,... accusing the liberal

Moon Jae-in administration of using the investigation for political gains before gubernatorial and

mayoral elections in mid-June.

I'm Lee Ji-won and I am here to bring you the latest on the PyeongChang 2018 Winter

Paralympics.

It's Day 5 of the Games, and it's another busy day packed with action.

But first,... let's take a look at Team Korea's wheelchair curlers' comeback in last night's

match.

South Korea's mixed wheelchair curling team is on the verge of the semi-finals, after

notching up two more wins on Tuesday, including a close victory over Switzerland in the evening.

The game was tight with both sides taking small points in the early stages,... until

Team Korea took three points in the 6th end.

And with the Swiss only managing to get a single point in each of the remaining two

ends, the game finished 6-5 with the South Koreans locking in their sixth win in the

round robin matchups.

Lee Myung-bak is the fifth former South Korean president to be investigated by the prosecution.

Park Ji-won has more on the former presidents who have been summoned in the past.

Former President Lee Myung-bak is the nation's fifth former president to have been summoned

by prosecutors.

Prior to Lee,... the most recent former president investigated was former President Park Geun-hye.

About a year ago,... Park,... 11 days after being impeached for abuse of power by the

Constitutional Court,... appeared for questioning by the prosecution on allegations of corruption

and bribery.

She was questioned for more than 21 hours on the day,... longer than any other first-day

questioning of a former president by prosecutors.

She is now awaiting next month's verdict on her criminal charges.

Back in 2009,... former President Roh Moo-hyun,... months after his presidential term ended,...

was summoned by prosecutors for alleged bribery during his time in office and underwent 13

hours of questioning.

Before the second round of questioning, Roh committed suicide,... and the case on him

was suspended.

In 1995,... former President Roh Tae-woo,... a couple of years after his term ended,...

was summoned on charges of receiving hundreds of millions of dollars in bribes from business

tycoons.

After one more round of investigations, he was arrested.

Later he was sentenced to 12 years in prison following additional charges of mutiny,...

but was given a presidential pardon two years later.

In late 1995,... ex-President Chun Doo-hwan,... who didn't comply with the prosecution's summons,...

was arrested on charges of mutiny, treason and corruption,... and was sentenced to life

in prison.

Chun was also given a presidential pardon by the Kim Young-sam administration in 1997.

Number of new hires in Korea in February grows at slowest pace since early 2010 - Duration: 1:41.

Employment figures for February were released today... and they show the number of newly

employed increased at its slowest pace in eight years,... mainly due to sluggish auto

sales following the shutdown of GM Korea's Gunsan plant,... and the cold weather last

month.

Kim Ji-yeon reports.

The number of newly employed people in Korea increased by its slowest pace since January

2010 in February,... only edging up by 104-thousand.

It's a sharp slowdown compared to preceding months.

The number of newly employed rose in the range of 200-thousand on-year for three straight

months leading up to December last year,... and increased by 314-thousand on-year in January.

Statistics Korea says the total number of people employed stood at over 26 million last

month and the increases came from the construction, defense and public administration sectors.

It attributes the downturn to the country's sluggish manufacturing, wholesale and retail

sectors,... and low economic activity due to last month's bitterly cold weather.

The statistics agency also cited the shutdown of GM Korea's Gunsan auto plant to have contributed

to sluggish sales in the auto sector,... but said it's uncertain whether this year's minimum

wage increase has played a role.

The so-called "real youth unemployment rate", which is the rate perceived by young people,

stood at around 23 percent.

Due to the worsening youth unemployment situation,... the government is expected to unveil detailed

measures to boost job creation on Thursday,... and is likely to push for a supplementary

budget bill and tax benefits later this year.

Rex Tillerson fired and replaced by CIA chief Mike Pompeo - Duration: 1:51.

U.S. President Donald Trump has fired his Secretary of State Rex Tillerson.

Using Twitter to drop the news,... Trump added that CIA Director Mike Pompeo will replace

Tillerson as Washington's top diplomat.

The abrupt dismissal comes a matter of weeks ahead of an unprecedented summit between the

U.S. and North Korea.

Kim Hyo-sun tells us more.

President Trump has ousted his Secretary of State, Rex Tillerson and replaced him with

Mike Pompeo, the CIA chief.

The surprising decision was announced via Trump's Twitter on Tuesday,... through which

he also thanked Tillerson for his 14 months of service.

Explaining his decision to fire him,... the president told reporters they had a different

mind-set and a different way of thinking.

President Trump then added that he has a very similar thought process with Pompeo, who is

notable for his hawkish attitude.

Pompeo is known to have played a crucial role in agreeing on a summit between Washington

and Pyongyang by closely coordinating with the South Korean government.

Meanwhile,... Tillerson told reporters he will leave the State Department at the end

of the month.

"My commission as secretary of state will terminate at midnight, March the 31st.

I'll now return to private life as a private citizen, as a proud American, proud of the

opportunity I've had to serve my country."

Undersecretary of State Steve Goldstein was also fired after contradicting the official

account of Tillerson's dismissal.

Vacancies within the higher echelon of the State Department will present a major challenge

for Pompeo as he prepares for an unprecedented meeting between President Trump and North

Korean leader Kim Jong-un,... following his Senate confirmation hearing in April.

Britain-Russia standoff over poisoning of ex-Russian spy intensifies - Duration: 2:20.

Russia has lashed out at the British government for its threat of punitive measures against

Russia if the Kremlin is found to have been involved.

The case is spiraling into a tense diplomatic battle, with other countries wading in.

Ro Aram reports.

The diplomatic standoff intensified when British Prime Minister Theresa May said Russia was

highly likely to be behind the poisoning of Sergei Skripal and his daughter.

She gave Moscow until Tuesday midnight, UK time, to explain how a Soviet-era nerve agent

was used against the former Russian double agent.

May also received the backing of U.S. President Donald Trump.

"....it sounds to me like it would be Russia based on all of the evidence they have.

I don't know if they've come to a conclusion.....It sounds to me like they believe it was Russia,

and I would certainly take that finding as fact."

After their phone call on Tuesday, May and Trump agreed Russia must provide what they

called "unambiguous answers" on how the nerve agent was used.

The European Union also showed its support for the UK.

The bloc's high representative for foreign affairs, Federica Mogherini, described the

attack as shocking, adding that the EU stands with the UK in pursuit of justice.

However, Russia has repeatedly denied any involvement in the case and lashed out at

the UK.

It said it won't respond to the British ultimatum unless it gets samples of the nerve agent

in line with rules of the international chemical weapons watchdog.

"Russia is not guilty, Russia is ready to cooperate in the framework of the Chemical

Weapons Convention only if the United Kingdom takes the pains to fulfill their legal obligations

according to the same document."

Moscow's foreign ministry also warned Britain that it would sternly respond to any threat

of sanctions, which includes shutting the UK office of Russian state media RT.

The ministry said not a single British media outlet will be able to work in Russia if RT

is closed.

Now that the midnight deadline has passed, with no response from Russia, eyes are now

on what steps Prime Minister May will take following the attack on Skripal.

Wrap-up of ex-president Lee Myung-bak's bribery allegations - Duration: 2:42.

The day has finally come for ex-president Lee Myung-bak.

The investigation into a laundry list of allegations, linked to bribery and his family-owned auto

parts company, has been ongoing for months,... and even more alleged shady dealings are coming

to light.

For a run-down of the legal strife the ex-conservative leader finds himself in,... Park Hee-jun reports.

The day has finally come for former President Lee Myung-bak to face investigators at the

Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office.

Lee, who served as president from 2009 to 2013,... becomes the fourth South Korean leader

to appear for questioning as a suspect in a criminal case.

Here's a wrap up of the major charges he's facing.

Evidence shows the former president received at least one-point-six-three million U.S.

dollars of illicit money from the National Intelligence Service,... and had it sent to

the presidential office through his key aides.

Prosecutors also suspect he received over two million dollars from former CEO of Woori

Financial Group Lee Pal-seung,... some of which was put toward Lee Myung-bak's 2007

presidential election campaign.

Then there's the corruption-ridden auto parts company-- DAS.

Although documents point to his elder brother,... prosecutors have concluded the company's 'real

owner' is Lee Myung-bak and that he holds over 80 percent of DAS shares under various

fake names.

One of the major allegations include Samsung Group paying over five-and-a-half million

dollars in legal fees to a U.S. law firm to cover DAS' legal costs.

Investigators also identified slush funds totaling to more than 28 million dollars managed

by DAS between 2003 and 2008.

A large part of those funds are believed to be managed by Lee Myung-bak and his family.

The net also appears to be closing in around Lee's family members.

They interrogated Lee's brother and DAS chairman Lee Sang-eun, who was also the primary target

of the DAS investigation.

So was Lee Myung-bak's son Lee Si-hyung-- an executive of the company.

Meanwhile, Lee's eldest brother and former lawmaker Lee Sang-deuk was summoned for bribery

allegations, mainly on receiving dirty money from the intelligence agency and Lee Pal-seung

for the ex-president.

Also accused of bribery, Lee's son-in-law Lee Sang-joo-- an executive at Samsung Electronics

and husband to the former President's eldest daughter.

Both have admitted to some of their charges.

But the former president's charges extend beyond bribery.

Lee Myung-bak faces additional charges related to violation of law on the management of presidential

records and violations related to election law.

He's expected to continue to deny all the allegations during his interrogation.

We begin with D-Day for one of the most famous faces in Korean politics.

Former president Lee Myung-bak has appeared before prosecutors for questioning as a suspect

over a slew of corruption allegations, including bribery, embezzlement and a long list of other

illegal actions.

Let's speak to our Oh Jung-hee who has been following developments today at Seoul Central

District Prosecutors' Office.

Jung-hee,... if you wouldn't mind,... just give us a recap of the moment Lee Myung-bak,...

known to most people in Korea as just "MB" arrived there...

Yes, Mark...

Ex-president Lee Myung-bak appeared here at Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office

roughly two-and-a-half hours ago... after an eight-minute ride from his residence in

southern Seoul.

He arrived here slightly ahead of the scheduled time.

Just as we expected,... before entering the building, Lee stopped by the photo line in

front of the office to deliver a brief message to the nation.

"I'm sorry to have caused troubles amid the economic difficulties and the grave security

situation,... and I send my apologies to my supporters and to people experiencing difficulties.

I have lots to share with people as the country's former president, but I know that I should

keep my message short.

In history, this should be the last such trouble.

I again express my apologies."

Just to give you a brief recap, Lee faces roughly 20 allegations in total, including

bribery, creating slush funds and abuse of power.

Over the past few months, state prosecutors have questioned numerous figures surrounding

Lee... including his family members like brothers, nephew and son,... as well as presidential

secretaries who worked with him during his term.

And all that was to close in on Lee today... who was summoned as the main culprit of the

charges I've just run through.

But Lee's been firmly denying the allegations,... calling the investigation against him and

his aides... political retaliation from the current Moon Jae-in administration.

Jung-hee, just walk us through what to expect in the coming hours,... and given the number

of charges he faces and his status as a former president.... we understand this is going

to be a long, drawn out affair...

That's right, Mark.

More than two hours have passed since former president Lee Myung-bak made his way into

the prosecutors' office... so it's expected he already met with senior prosecution officials...

and got into the actual interrogation process.

Lee is known to be interrogated on the tenth floor... in the exact same room where Park

Geun-hye was questioned.

The entire questioning will be video-recorded as well.

Throughout the day, there's a possibility Lee could be cross-interrogated with some

of his former aides, including a couple of then-presidential secretaries and his asset

manager... as they've been quite cooperative for the prosecution and provided detailed

testimonies.

Because Lee is the nation's former president, prosecutors aim to wrap up their questioning

today and will not call him in anymore -- which is why we expect the questioning to stretch

late into the night.

The interrogation itself could end before midnight,... but most don't think Lee will

be able to leave before tomorrow morning, after prosecutors take a look through their

interrogation records through the night.

Also,... we'll probably have to wait until the weekend to see whether the prosecution

will seek an arrest warrant for the former president... but there's a high possibility

that will happen if Lee keeps denying the charges against him.

South Korea and the U.S. will hold their third round of talks over the possible amendment

of their free trade agreement in Washington on Thursday local time.

Seoul's Trade Ministry said Yoo Myung-hee, a deputy minister for FTA negotiations at

the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy,... will be negotiating with her U.S. counterpart,

Assistant U.S. Trade Representative Michael Beeman.

The two sides are expected to discuss further about issues raised during their two previous

meetings and about ways to advance the amendment negotiations.

South Korea and Russia have agreed to resolve the North Korea crisis by peaceful means.

Meeting with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov in Moscow on Tuesday,...

President Moon Jae-in's special envoy, Chung Eui-yong, said Russia has played a constructive

role in inviting North Korea to dialogue.

He said the two agreed on joint actions to ensure the success of upcoming meeting between

the leaders of the two Koreas,... as well as the following U.S.-North Korea summit in

May.

Chung will return home later on Wednesday.

With the semi-finals for cross-country skiing being held right now, the medal rounds will

start from one in the afternoon.

The medal games for men's and women's giant slalom in alpine skiing will also begin at

2 o'clock in the afternoon, with four South Korean skiers competing,.... including Yang

Jae-rim and Lee Chi-won.

South Korea's wheelchair curlers will also have their next preliminary match against

Norway around half past two,....... and another one against Sweden in the evening.

If South Korea grabs a win in either of the games today, it will secure its place in the

semi-finals.
