Laney P' Chart - Duration: 4:47.

Welcome to the Sigma Magic software series.

In this module, we will cover a brief overview of how to create a Laney P Prime control chart

using the Sigma Magic software.

Laney P Prime control charts are used to determine if a process is in control when we have discrete

defectives data and the subgroup size is very large.

For example, let's say we want to check if the proportion of defective tax records in

a given state are in control.

Here we are interested in the number of defective tax records that are generated in the state

each year.

In this case, the metric is discrete defectives and the subgroup size is the varying every

year.

Since, the subgroup size is very large, we need to use the Laney P Prime chart to determine

if this process is in control.

The data for this exercise is given in the variables Tax Records and Tax Defectives in

the data file: Six Sigma Training Data.

To perform this analysis, the first step is to add the Laney P Prime control chart template

to your workbook by clicking on Stats and then selecting Control Charts.

Once you add the template, click on Update Inputs to open the input dialog box: and specify

the options for this analysis.

In the data section, specify the data type as Discrete - Defectives.

If the subgroup size were constant, they could be defined here as constant but in our case

the subgroup size is varying, so we specify that the subgroup size is defined on the worksheet.

If there were any stage information for this problem like data collected before and after

improvement, we could specify the stage information but in our case we only have one set of data,

so we specify that there are no stages.

In the control charts section, select the Laney P Prime chart, specify that the control

limits are to be estimated from data, and select the option of performing all tests:

for checking if the process is in control.

Click on OK to save the options: and enter the data on the worksheet.

In the worksheet, you can either copy and paste the data into the Inputs area or paste

the data from a data file.

Let's use the Paste option for this exercise.

First, let's select the data file by clicking on Options >> Auto Data >> Use External Data

File >> and select Six Sigma Training Data.

Click on Paste and select the variables Tax Records and Tax Defectives for the subgroup

and data variables.

This will paste the data into the inputs area and then compute the analysis results.

If you had manually copied and pasted the data into the Inputs area, you will need to

click on Compute Outputs to generate analysis results.

The summary of analysis results is shown in the notes section and the Laney P Prime control

chart is shown in the graphs section.

From the notes section, we can see that there are 10 years of data for this analysis.

Note that the control limits are not necessarily constant since the subgroup size is varying,

the short term standard deviation of the process is also varying thus impacting the control

limits.

If any control chart tests had failed, they would be indicated in the notes section and

a red dot would also be placed on the control charts in the graph section.

In our case, all data points are within the control limits and no control chart tests

have failed.

Hence, our process is in control.

A summary of the analysis results is shown in the conclusion section.

We hope this module was useful to get a high-level overview of how to create the Laney P Prime

control chart using the Sigma Magic software.

Disability Misconceptions | #SpinaBifida - Duration: 2:45.

Hey everyone, welcome to #SpinaBifida

(pop)

You know I don't do tags very often but

when my friend Rikki tags me in a tag

I generally do it.

So Rikki this video is pretty much because of you.

She tagged me in this misconceptions about disability

tag..thing?

So question one

Well my disability is Spina Bifida.

Hence the name #SpinaBifida.

And I guess the way it impacts me is um

with my mobility.

Oh and everyone knows it impacts me with going to the bathroom.

I always have to go to the bathroom.

And my bladder always hurts.

That we all use a wheelchair.

While a lot of people with Spina Bifida use a wheelchair

there are also a lot of people like me who don't

use a wheelchair at all.

Who just use a cane, or just use crutches.

The wheelchair one is definitely one that annoys me.

But also a lot of people with Spina Bifida

we're allergic to to latex.

There's always this misconception that we can't have sex.

Or safe sex because um condoms have latex but

there are latex free condoms and latex free condoms are actually

better than latex condoms so (exhales)

Those people can stay stuck that they can't have sex with people

allergic to latex, I'm gunna go off and just have great sex

with people who actually know latex free condoms exist.

My videos, my videos is how I combat these misconceptions.

I think education is gunna be the key.

Granted I know you can't educate everyone.

Not everyone wants to seek information.

But they're there and they're available.

I do my best to make them as accessible as possible.

They're there, and that's the only way I know to combat it.

My answers kinda the same from the question before.

But also I think allies would be good in helping combat these misconceptions.

If allies would share disabled people's videos

uplift our voices then I think it would combat it even faster.

I'm here to tell you about a little something called a PBR.

I know there's been a lot of confusion out there and I want to set the record straight.

What's up, Dee?

Hey, Christian.

How are you?

Fine.

What are you doing?

Well, I was just trying to explain to some folks about this thing called PBR.

PBR.

Doesn't everybody know what PBR is?

Well, what do you think PBR is?

Product backlog refinement.

Okay.

Tell me more.

Well, it deals with the product backlog.

The product owner owns the product backlog, they own the refinement of it, but it doesn't mean

they have to do it all by themselves.

Refinement really means getting stuff ready.

Is it at the right size for the team to work on?

Has it been sized?

Has it been ordered by business value?

Hmm.

If I'm a development team member in the middle of a sprint and I see that something on the

product backlog needs to be refined, what do I do?

That's an awesome question and I wish all the team members would bring ideas like that

to me if I was a product owner, because we don't know before we start.

When we start, more details come up to fruition.

I want to hear those.

I want to understand what that means because I might have to rank your idea higher than

somebody else's.

I got to go have a conversation with that other person to explain, "Hey, this thing

came up.

We're going to do this first, then yours."

Okay.

Okay.

If I've got this idea about a change, what do I do?

Get out an email, get on the calendar, what?

If I was the product owner, I'd just want my team members to talk to me.

I don't need an email.

It's going to be up to each product owner how they want to handle it.

Gotcha.

Okay.

I think I got this PBR thing down.

It's product backlog refinement.

Sounds good.

[VLOG#01] BUSAN IN KOREA travel 5night 6days - Duration: 7:10.

My friend who comes from Taiwan had trip 5night 6days in Busan, so I was going to meet her

I bought this selfie stick for this travel, it is strong and looks good!

Busan station is under Construction, so I want to come here after construction.

we are waiting subway to guest house

we book this house for 2 days, which place Kkangtong Market in Busan

there are electric pads each bad, so we can sleep warmly

my friend will arrive at airport in 2 hours

I do not know my sock got hole :(

I, my sister, friend, friend's sister and her boyfriend are going to eat Samgyeopsal and rib

we have to wait to grill pork belly, Patience time

My friend can speak Korean and understand my saying, so she translate for her sister

you know, the grass is always greener on the other side of the fence like this situation

this doenjang stew(bean paste stew) is soooo delicious, it is special.

who grill this rib, too overcook :(

I grabbed my cell phone and found my cell phone lol

there are so many people because Bupyeong night market open

this hot pancake is so delicious, representative food in winter

this pancake is different because of mugwort, so it looks pastel green.

it is perfect food on cold street in winter

We each stood in line and bought food and share. ( there are too many people )

my sister eat really too many food , go and earn money later sister.
