Youtube daily report Mar 14 2018

Hi, everyone! LOUD SOUND speaking.

And today, we're doing a very unusual review.

'Cuz it has no connection to car audio whatsoever.

It does, however, have something to do with PC.

With modding, in particular.

I recently came up with an idea of shooting a video,

my complete history with computers, game consoles,

games, software and stuff. What I've worked with,

what games I've played, what years were my nerdiest.

And for that, I decided to modify my PC a notch.

I mean, at the moment, my PC looks, well... ordinary.

Let's call it 'ordinary'.

I spotted HyperPC, the company that makes really cool PC assemblies,

and what I loved most was they make individual projects,

with logos and stuff. And each PC is different from the previous one.

I didn't contact them to get some free stuff. I asked to really work on the looks,

'cuz I have all the hardware, and it's nice hardware, too.

I'll spare a few words about them now.

A more detailed overview of this PC, taken apart, you'll see at the HyperPC channel.

Make sure you subscribe to them. Here is the link, in the description, too.

The guys took it with a great attitude. I don't mean, with great responsibility,

but creatively - just what I like.

Usually, when you address someone, they are, like, 'Oh, we need publicity!'

Or vice versa, those bloggers who sell commercials, right?

All those, 'I'm not giving a fart about you unless you pay me. Money first, then we talk.'

These guys were, like, 'Oh, cool! We know you, we watch your reviews.

We'll make you a tailored PC with nice conditions'. Let's put it like that.

I mean, there was no... Well, I told them I had the video card, the motherboard etc.

Well, they did go, 'We'll replace this and that.'

Anyway, right now, I am packing my PC just the way it is at the moment,

and sending it to them. You'll see what they do with it on their channel.

And after they're done, my channel will grow by a very interesting video of me telling

about my first encounter with computers. It was back in the 1980's.

About how I got hooked up hard on consoles in the '90's.

And then there were PCs. How I worked at a computer club.

I guess I'll show the first video I ever made. The first LOUD SOUND video.

I'm guessing it would be an interesting video.

I mean, I'm thrilled to do some summing up myself. Well, it has been as little as almost three decades

since I was first introduced to the world of computers.

I wasn't even 10 when I was my first IBM PC XT, no hard drive.

Everything was on 5.25" floppy disks back then.

Only RAMs and floppy disks.

Many of you have no clue what I'm talking about right now.

I'll go into details in that review which I'm going to make

once I get my PC back from the HyperPC guys.

And now, I'll just go briefly... Here's my workplace.

All of this will also be covered in the review. I'll tell about all this beauty.

Sure will.

About my workplace. Now, really briefly to keep the intrigue on,

so that it's interesting when you see the review/

two 1080 TI's, Aurus Gaming Edition, I think.

Anyway, not regular ones but pumped up a bit.

An 860 power supply unit.

Some argue you need 1 kW, or even 1.2 kW.

Well, yeah, you do when you turn on Battlefield at 200%, all set at max

in UltraHD, 3440 by 1440, all settings set at their highest, and try run it all off your PC.

4 memory boards, 8 Gb each. I think they're Corsair.

I bought the extra 2 'cuz I found out that the processor was 4-channel,

and they told me 4 memory channels would speed up the work. Bullcrap.

I tried speeding it up, slowing down, putting 2 and 4 plates. BS. It affects nothing.

Some benchmarks, maybe.

I compared all of that in rendering. Anyways, I'll tell all about it later.

This is a show of shame here.

But it's up to the guys with HyperPC. Let them tell the heck out of this.

I even got this temporary solution.

I'm sending it right like this. For fun.

Here. It's on now if you were wondering.

I'm just gonna shove it here to run the air there.

Here's a cooler, two more here. Three for the video card, one underneath.

One for this output, two for the input here.

And it's... The temperature still goes up to 85°C (185°F)

when it's rendering or when a game is on.

Right, it's the processor. The video cards go up to 82°C (180°F) I think.

Well, over 80°C (176°F), that's for sure.

So, whenever it's - in case you haven't guessed, this is a balcony transformed into a study -

whenever it's cold here for some reason, I just run a game,

and, well, the room warms up quite quickly.

The monitor is no IPS. Apart from that, it's fully tuned.

The price is 50k rub. It's an AOC.

I'll tell you more about it if you want. The same refers to the IPS.

And for 50 more, a Satellite is coming in.

Here's a DIY lamp amp. Sennheiser earphones.

I'll spill the details on all of this, too.

And now, I'm packing all of this up and... well, sending it over.

Follow the guys on social media. I'll ask them to keep you posted

when my PC arrives, how they saw it, how they were shocked.

Btw... I'm not sure here. I asked, should I clean it? They said, send it the way it is.

So, in case they troll me hard... I'm not sure... Let's see.

Well, yeah. Mine is not the world's cleanest PC.

Btw, I got rid of the CD-ROM - didn't need it -

so that the cooler I fixed up there had the air to breathe.

I complained about my motherboard to the guys. I hate it, I really do.

This constant UST lottery. I don't know which one is 3.0 or 2.0, one's fine, the other one's not working.

Ugh, USB is a constant bitch on this PC.

And, of course, let me speak gaming.

I have this thingy here. It's an Oculus Rift.

I'll speak in details about all this fun stuff.

This is a nice one, actually. I did feed up playing it quite fast, tho.

So, subscribe to the HyperPC channel, wait for their videos with my PC.

Follow them on social media. The links are here, under the video.

Follow up any news about my PC in case they do or post something.

I'll ask them to please you by keeping you posted.

But I'm not sending in the hard drives!

So, in case you're waiting for insider information, some LOUD SOUND secrets,

you're not getting any!

But as soon as they send my PC back, I'll tell you all about it,

about the arrangement here, why I placed things like this, why I hate Mac.

I guess I could tell how I edit my videos.

...how long they take to render.

While you're waiting, leave comments here on what you'd like to find out about my computer.

Also, if you have any suggestions or recommendations for me,

for the HyperPC guys to hear them and do them to my PC,

dunno, maybe some new M2 with crazy high speed is out...

Speaking of N2. I have one here.

Hard... Not hard. Solid. An SSD.

I think it's Samsung.

It's one really nice hard.

See? I'm ancient. I still call those Hard drives.

So, make sure you leave your comments on how to improve it, what to check out.

I think guys will be reading this, too. They might find interesting ideas.

Perhaps, you'll be the one to help make my PC even doper.

The guys with the company have a really nice approach. Let me spare a word.

I hope everything's gonna be alright.

Considering all those PCs they've put together for other bloggers,

it's not that I think it won't be alright.

But I think we might run a poll with you all,

whose PC is the coolest.

Here, one for AcademeG. You can check out his config on their website.

Let's see. Oh, look! He has the same processor I have.

Only one video card and it's not TI.

Kostya, you wear glasses, don't you? I mean, you look like a nerd more than me.

How come? Why so few, Kostya? The PC's body is awesome, though.

Check this out. Stitching, leather - maybe artificial, I don't know.

Check out the water on the video cards and the processor. Super cool!

Well, surf their website, check out PCs for other bloggers.

Maybe warn them against something so they don't do it with my PC.

I mean, modding can be crappy at some points.

Maybe there's some hardware not to be used. Leave your comments on the matter.

I really need this sort of comments. I've always been all about functionality.

I don't give a damn to what it looks like.

But since I'm doing that story, I thought I might as well upgrade my PC.

After all, it's gonna be kinda the final page - at this moment -

in my history with comptuers.

So I figured it should be if not the toppest PC in Russia, but sure one of them.

That's all. Bye, everyone! Live LOUD!

1. What is a brand (and do I really need one?) - Duration: 2:09.

Because in this series I'm going to show you how to build yours.

It's okay Siri, pipe down.

Hello and welcome to my series on building a successful brand.

Today I want to convince you that brand is something you need to take very seriously.

It's something you need to invest in and something that can transform your business.

So let's start the very beginning.

What exactly is a brand and do I really need one?

The first thing to say is that your brand is much more than just a logo.

Your brand is the whole experience someone has of your company.

Of course it's about how you look but it's also the story you tell, how you

communicate, the principles you're built on and most importantly the vision you're working towards.

Your brand is who you are as a company.

It's why you exist and why people should care.

And if that still doesn't convince you let me put it another way...

A good brand can be the key to achieving your commercial goals.

You brand is why people buy from you, it's why people buy into you.

Because people are driven by emotions - yes even venture capitalists.

We all want to be part of something, a journey, a story, an experience.

We are all, if you'll forgive me, let by the heart.

And the way to those heartstrings is through your brand

So the question do I really need one? is clearly a rhetorical one

Because the answer is obviously yes

One last time, your brand is fundamental to your success

And if you're thinking okay great got it...

...but my brand is definitely not delivering that for me right now

Don't worry you've come to the right place

Because in this series I'm gonna show you how to build yours

Thanks so much for watching I really hope you found it useful.

To catch all of the rest of the videos and make sure you subscribe and if you can't wait for them

then go to lifesizemedia.com/brand

where you can read all about the series and get access to all the videos right now.

DIY BEER FOR DOGS! Special Saint Patrick's Day Beer Recipe for Dogs! How to Make Doggy Beer! ☘️🐶🍺 - Duration: 3:53.

Hi everybody and welcome back to it Relax My Dog, today me and Milo are going

to be creating a DIY doggy beer inspired by st. Patrick's Day which

will be coming up really really soon so we are gonna be creating our DIY beer

what you will need is a 1 cup of warm water, this is quite hot we've diluted it

down a little bit with some cold water, do you not like your glasses? let's put them on

the side, then you'll also need one funnel, as well you'll need a mixing

bowl, we also have a beer glass here as well, we then have some molasses and also

a beef stock tube as well and then for decoration, I know that Milo is gonna be

super excited by this, what's this?

so what you need to start with is some warm

water, we're gonna pour this into our mixing bowl here

then we're also going to use a quarter to a half of a stock cube depending on the size of your dog, so I'm

gonna open this, so we're going to use about a quarter to a half obviously

you don't need to be specific really, I'm just going to crumble this into the warm

water, I'm gonna crumble the beef stock and then we're just gonna mix that with our spoon

next up we are going to be using this molasses we've got this

from a health store, this is great for dogs as it helps to build strong bones

we're just gonna add 1 tablespoon of this into our mixture

Milo, what's this? You can't lick this one I'm afraid it basically just looks

like syrup and it is extremely extremely strong, I'm just going to put a

tablespoon of this into our mixture, it is very very syrupy

and then just give that a mix so that the warm water, the beef stock and the molasses all mix in

together, so that is your beer done, obviously if you have multiple dogs you

may want to make multiple ones of these, so this is our mixture as you can see

it's a dark brown sort of colour, very similar to beer, do you want to smell?

he's not intrigued just yet! Okay so once you've made your DIY beer, we're going

to be using our beer glass and our funnel here and all you're going to do is you're

gonna pour this liquid into that and then we'll have our beer, obviously

if you wanted to preserve any of this you can pop it in old beer bottles and

then pop them in the fridge and wait until your dog wants to have it another

time, but because it's currently st. Patrick's

Day we are going to be making it now for Milo

so there we have our DIY beer, then obviously we're going to be adding some whipped cream to act as

sort of the froth on the top

like so and then we're going to serve it up, here you go MIlo, here's your beer, that'll be three pounds please

Milo's got to the beer now and I can

tell he is definitely enjoying this, once he's had the whipped cream

I'm actually gonna pour this into a dog bowl as well, so as you can see it

Milo is absolutely loving his DIY beer, so that is it for our Relax My Dog

video this week, don't forget to give it a big thumbs up if you did enjoy it, you

can also comment down below if you have any video suggestions or if you're going

to be making this for your little doggy as well, Milo is definitely enjoying

this, also don't forget to subscribe to our youtube channel and also and

follow our social media pages as well, and me and Milo will see you next time

Bye!

[KPOP HAUL] YesAsia: Rainz, The Boyz, Monsta X, The East Light - Duration: 3:10.

Hi everybody~

I am back today with a YesAsia Haul

It was my first time ordering on it and I wanted to do a review

I ordered albums about 2 weeks ago

But it was shipped to me only a week ago

because some of the albums I ordered were out of stock at that time

I chose free shipping for more than $39

Also, the website is easy to navigate on and they ship really fast

I already opened the box so I wouldn't struggle while filming

Let's start!

I bought both Rainz' albums

because I really like them

and I am scared their albums would be out of stock

after they finish promoting

as a special group

I do have 2 copies of 'Shake You Up' as one of them is for a friend

Then, The Boyz

It is group who debuted at the end of last year

I already love them a lot

I listen to their songs a lot and watch all their shows

Now, Monsta X' single album

The Japanese one, Spotlight

I already have the first 2

and I wanted this to continue my Japanese collection

Finally, The East Light's first mini album

I talked about them in my last video

I love these kids

and I wanted their album to support them

That's why

I hope you like it

Do you already know and use YesAsia?

Tell me if you listen to some of these groups

Thank you for watching! Bye~

Vostok Aurora October Revolution 2414 review - Recensione Vostok Aurora Rivoluzione d'Ottobre 2414 - Duration: 2:57.

Good morning friends!

Before starting the video today I want to invite you to leave a like on my Facebook page.

In this way you will help me to carry on my Youtube Channel.

Today's watch is a Vostok Komandirskie Aurora.

This is a commemorative clock, I will go into the matter soon.

First I give you some technical information.

It is a Komandirskie, so it has a 39mm chromed brass case.

Screw-down crown positioned at 3 o'clock and a bidirectional bezel.

The movement is a Vostok 2414, 17 jewels.

It is distinguished from the 2409 movement by the presence of the date.

Recall that 2409 is used above all for the Vostok Amphibia and Antimagnetic.

We can now talk about the commemorative aspect of this watch.

The dial commemorates the 70th anniversary of the October Revolution.

The main subject is the Aurora ship, famous because linked to the very beginning of the Revolution.

The firearm shot that started the October Revolution was fired from this ship.

In the dial you can see the shape of the ship, on a brown background and with an indication of 70 years.

There are also yellow fireworks that have the shape of stars.

It is a very interesting watch for collectors.

I matched this pin.

I found it at Porta Portese market.

The pin shows the date of 1917, the beginning of the October Revolution.

Also here the Aurora ship is the protagonist.

If we add 1917 to the 70 years commemorated by Vostok we can understand that the watch was produced at the end of the 80s.

Thanks for following me, see you in the next video!

Live LOUD!

Does ASO (App Store Optimization) Still Work? - Duration: 3:25.

Hey, this is the Daily Overpass! My name is Eric and I make apps! Now today, I'm

coming to you again from Hanoi and today we want to ask the question, "Does ASO still work?"

Alright, so I'm coming to you once again from Hanoi. It's starting to get

a little bit dark here now. The sun's gone down. It's a bit - it's been like an

overcast day all day. But it's cooled down a lot, which is kind of

nice .There is so much construction going on behind me. I hope you can hear

me okay. Anyway, so today, I want to talk once again about ASO. There's one

thing that I keep hearing over and over and over again. Well, I've heard

half a dozen times, maybe not that often, where people say, "Hey, I thought ASO

no longer works. ASO doesn't work anymore?" Andd that's

something a lot of people talk abou. They sometimes email

me and they'll say, "Eric, think about ASO. It was really big a few years ago, but I

heard it doesn't work anymore." And to me, that just sounds like a complete

misunderstanding of what it is. ASO stands for App Store optimization.

It's not a trick, you know, I think the question presupposes that it's tricking

someone somehow, that you're getting one over on somebody. You let -

like there was a loophole and that's not what it is. It's optimizing your site, I'm

sorry, optimizing your app before the search - for the app stores in the search

and for download ability. So, you got the the algorithm side of things which is

the keywords and the backlinks and everything like that, which

goes into that one side. You're optimizing it, you're not trying to fool

anyone. At least, you shouldn't be trying to fool anyone. You're trying to optimize

it, you try to make it easier for the people - for the right people to find what

you're offering them. And then you got the - you got the algorithms side,

and also the human side, which is having the right icons, so the

algorithm - as far as I know, the algorithm doesn't care anything about the icon, but

it's the amount of clicks you get, the amount of downloads, which has to do with

icons and screenshots and things like that. Early on when I was just -

when I started learning about this kind of stuff, I swear to you, my

first app on the iOS, it had like the keywords were all in the title

already. I just - I knew nothing and it was - and eventually

start reading into that and get to grips. Sometimes, the

stuff that you read from a couple years ago when it comes to just

just an optimization, a lot of it's still relevant. Now, there are tricks and

things like if you watchSteve P. Young's AppMasters Channel,

one of the ones he always - he talks about back in the day was being able to use

these - the Mexican translation for English words or the Mexican -

English-Mexico whatever. I can't remember what it is, but you can ask him

about it. But, you know, there was a way to add like more keywords enough on the iOS

and stuff like that, and that kind of stuff. That could be seen as loopholes

or a way to get further around. But a lot of stuff, especially on Google Play, it's

not a trick. ASO is not a trick. it's optimizing. it's trying to make things

easier for Google, trying to make things easier for your users. And that's it! So, I

think the tenants of it are always going to be relevant. Anyway,

that's it for today. I'll talk to you, guys, tomorrow!

Buyer's Unrealistic Expectations - Duration: 2:03.

The market has changed a lot in the past few years and the market conditions

continue to change. Here are some things that buyers need to realize before they

start their house hunting journey. Real estate is not what HGTV makes it out to

be. You don't just meet an agent and pick

one of the three houses they show you. If only it was that easy. "It's a little

small. I feel like I need granite countertops. I

don't even know what granite means but I feel like I know I need granite

countertops." You don't just go in and start knocking down walls, adding

bathrooms and knocking down walls, and one...

Prices are what the market is willing to pay! You might not think a house or condo

is worth that much money but that's what it is. Who was that? You might not think a house or a

condo is worth the price tag but if the market is willing to pay for it, that's

the market value! This is the nature of real estate, so you better be prepared.

Your budget determines the location, size, and finishes that you can get. Depending

on what's important to you, you need to understand the current market or else

you'll be caught window shopping and actually not become a homeowner.

Mortgages have changed. The cost of borrowing has increased. "I'm sorry but if

you don't come up with that money by tomorrow the bank is going to take your

house. Good luck finding it because I'm gonna take the numbers off tonight."You

may know your budget you may know your finances but that's not who we have to

prove and convince, if you need a mortgage we need to get the lenders on

board. With the tightening of mortgage rules you need to understand what the

lender wants and needs from you and what they are willing to give you. So stop

wasting your time- let's get pre-approved. Get your expectations a little more

realistic and let's get you in a home. That's it for now we'll see you in the

next one!

How To Teach Your Cat To Let You Sleep! What To Do If Your Cat Wakes You Up At Night - Duration: 3:45.

Hi guys! Welcome back to the channel

it is Claire and Rags and do you have a cat that just won't let you sleep through

the night? Well fear not! If you do Rags and are here

with a few tips for you to you to help you train your cat to not wake you up in the night and let you sleep through

Now if simplest things you can do is just ban your cat from the bedroom. I know it sounds so barbaric, yet so simple!

I don't think I could go for the night without having Ragsy at the end of my bed

she's such a cuddle monster, but some cats can be quite disruptive when it comes to

night time so it might just be the only choice you have

so you can just lock your cat in another room or another part of the house where

they can make as much noise as they possibly want without disturbing you at all

now in some ways cats can be a little bit like children and then they respond

really well to routine. Why not try to establish a routine with your cat

When it comes to waking up in the morning and time for their breakfast? Now

when you set an alarm in the morning maybe it's not just an alarm for

you but an alarm for your cat as well. Now my husband's alarm goes off and

half past six in the morning and Ragsy has come to see this as not only

time for him to wake up but time for her to get breakfast. Now one of the

most important things to do if you're going to establish your routine like

this is to make sure that you are consistent with it. So if you have an

alarm set for 6:30 Monday to Friday you're going to have to make sure you get up at

6:30 on Saturday and Sunday too - cats don't know what the weekend is as that they do

respond really well to consistency and a strict routine. Now you can just get up

and give your cats and their breakfast at that time and then get back into bed

but you know, cats don't know the difference, do they? Now after a busy day we

usually have a really good night's sleep and sleep through the night. This can

be the same for your cat as well! Actually just recently Rags traveled with me

into the city even on the train, didn't you? And that night she was zonked out, she completely

fell asleep and slept all the way through night

Now obviously you taking your cat on the train every day is a bit of a tall order

but why not try a bit of playtime before bedtime

if you give your cat a few minutes maybe 10 or 15 minutes of playtime before you

go to bed this will hopefully burn off any excess energy they have and tire your

cat out so they'll sleep through the night and finally if you want to keep

your cat occupied in the nighttime, then give them the means to do it

themselves scatter or turn on at some interactive

toys and games throughout the house. Obviously not your bedroom because that

would defeat the object but around the house where they can make as much noise

as they want. So if your cat is particularly full of beans at 2:00 a.m.

they can take themselves away and play with their catnip mouse or an

interactive game. This means your cats gets all the fun and enjoyment of

playtime but you get to sleep through the night. Thanks for watching guys I

hope you found these tips useful. Now if you've got any additional tips on how to

train your cat to let you sleep through the night please feel free to share them

in the comment section below. Ragsy and I love hearing from you guys

and you are also so clever! Now if you did like the video please give us a big thumbs up

it helps us out tons and don't forget to hit the subscribe button and then the

notification button to make sure you don't miss any of our videos. Thanks

again for watching guys and Rags and I will see in our next video! Bye!

ASMR with a TATAMI (Japanese with English subs) - Duration: 15:16.

How does this sound?

Hello everyone.

Good morning.

Good evening.

How are you today?

I'm fine.

If you aren't feeling good now,

watch this video and I'm sure you'll feel better.

Because I'm thinking about making this ASMR video with a tatami.

This tatami is quite heavy.

I'm not sure about tatami sold in Japan.

This tatami that I bought in France is really heavy.

I don't think that the ones I saw in Japan were that heavy but...

OK, let's try it.

I'm going to bring the tatami here. Wait a moment, please.

It's really heavy.

Just wait a moment, please.

Shall we try?

I'll try to do some scratching.

I like the smell of tatami.

The sound is a bit different from what I was expected.

Shall I try some tapping?

I'll push it closer to the mics.

Phew.

Can you see here?

The cats... have done it.

They really love this tatami.

I think that tapping sound isn't that good neither.

Shall I try to brush it?

How do you feel?

This is not a brush!

I've brought my brush.

How does it sound?

It's not bad.

A bit closer.

It's not really convenient.

Making an ASMR video with a tatami...

Sure, I could have put it on the floor, but it wouldn't have been interesting.

Shall I try to use some other objects?

The sponge, for example.

It doesn't sound good at all.

And with this?

It's not bad I think.

And if I try with this one?

Will it sound good?

OK, so today, I'll stop here.

It's heavy.

Sure, like this, it's not that heavy.

But it's not very stable.

I was wondering what kind of sounds I could make with a tatami.

And as I wanted to make a video in Japanese, it was just the right object.

It was just good.

I'm not sure I was able to make some good sounds but...

Please let me know in the comments below.

Good night!

Celebrity New : Tom Holland wants Spider-Man and Shuri to meet - Duration: 3:12.

Tom Holland wants Spider-Man and Shuri to meet

Tom Holland has admitted hed love for Spider-Man to become friends with Black Panther character Shuri in a future Marvel movie.

The 21-year-old actor plays the lycra-clad superhero and his alter ego Peter Parker in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), and after striking up a friendship with Shuri actress Letitia Wright, he has said he would love to travel to the fictional world of Wakanda - where Black Panther takes place - in a future movie.

He told Entertainment Weekly magazine: I think Peter would love it.

Theres some great moments in the comics where Peter ends up there.

And Letitia and I have become really good friends over the last year and a bit.

It would be brilliant to have our characters meet up, it would be so funny.

Shes brilliant in the movie, shes actually my favourite part of Black Panther..

Its unlikely Tom will get his wish any time soon though, as although Wakanda is set to feature in Avengers: Infinity War, Peter and Shuri arent thought to be getting screen time together.

And Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige recently admitted the company already have a plan in place for Black Panther 2, so Tom might have to wait even longer to see his dream come true.

When asked what he could reveal about Black Panther 2, Kevin said: Nothing specific to reveal, other than to say we absolutely will do that.

One of the favourite pastimes at Marvel Studios is sitting around on a Part One and talking and dreaming about what we would do in a Part Two.

There have been plenty of those conversations as we were putting together the first Black Panther.

We have ideas and a pretty solid direction on where we want to head with the second one..

Tom will next take to the big screen as Spider-Man in the ensemble movie Avengers: Infinity War, which is set to be released on April 27.

How to Photograph a Cocktail Hour - Duration: 5:37.

Hi.

I'm Jamie from jamiedelainewatson.com.

Welcome to my channel.

This week, I'm continuing in a series I started a few years ago about photographing a wedding

day.

We're doing different parts of the wedding day from start to finish on the video.

So far we've made it to the cocktail hour, which is what I'm going to be discussing today.

During the cocktail hour, there's a few things I'm focused on getting.

It's a very candid part of the day of course.

I'm not necessarily posing photos but I'm making sure that I'm getting detailed shots

of any of the food or drinks or special drinks and appetizers coming out at this time.

Depending on your couple sometimes they'll have their signature drink and different details

that they've thought of.

Always put yourself in the bride's shoes and look around the room and think, "What is something

that looks like she's put a ton of effort into this exact detail."

Of course, you can never go wrong photographing all of the details that you could possibly

see.

Definitely try to get some of the appetizer trays that are coming out as they're full.

I wouldn't photograph anything less than about 80% full.

Ideally I try to catch the servers coming out of the kitchen and ask if I can take a

quick photo.

I try not to be too annoying because the servers and the caterers, they're trying to do their

job and their job is to get food to people as fast as possible.

So I smile, I'm nice, I say, "Can I quickly grab a shot of that?"

I usually am using my 50 mm F 1.2 Canon lens.

I have this on because it's great for candids as well.

I'm using that for portraits of people as they're talking, laughing and drinking.

It's really handy that then when the appetizer trays come out, I can quickly photograph with

the 50 as well.

It would be super ideal to use my 100 mm macro lens.

Sometimes I might have time to do this if there is, say, a platter or a table set up

with appetizers and it's not swarmed with people, I might have time to put that macro

lens on and get in closer for a few of those really great food shots.

I'm all about efficiency.

I don't want to slow the servers down, I don't want to be a nuisance so that 50 mm lens is

the sweet spot for being able to photograph people and then go back to the details right

away.

In every new part of the wedding day, it's important to get some wider establishing shots

of the room.

It's nice to not have all the images be with the 50 mm because I want the bride and groom

to remember what that room looked like and felt like.

I would use my 24 mm or my 35 mm to get a wide shot both horizontal and vertical of

each side of the room or just an establishing shot that way.

My favorite thing about cocktail hour is it is a bit more relaxed time of the day.

The portraits have been done, the ceremonies done, the family photos are done.

Now you can just be with the guests and start to create some of these great connections

so that they'll remember your name when they need a photographer or help someone who needs

a photographer down the road.

What I mean by this is always keep a smile on your face, be browsing the room, scanning

for opportunities where people are laughing.

I love laughter shots.

You're always going to want to keep your eye on a group of people.

I think it become a bit of an art.

It's a bit like hunting not that I hunt, but it's what I imagine hunting to be.

You notice a pack of people.

You notice them.

They're deep in conversation, they're chatting but you know a laugh is coming.

I'm not going to stand three feet away from them with my camera just like poised, waiting.

I actually think that's what you do in hunting so maybe this is a terrible analogy.

What I mean is I don't want them to notice that I'm there because it makes people feel

uncomfortable.

I'll walk by using my peripheral vision.

I'll turn the other way but I know that I'm thinking about that group of people.

When there's a laugh, as soon as people laugh, they get less self conscious because they're

focused on the joke and the moment.

Then I swivel and I can photograph that group of people and I already have my setting set

up.

That's how I handle candid moments.

Of course, it's always great to get posed ... They're not candid moments, posed photographs

of the guests during this time as well.

I'm just introverted and I hate interrupting people and I don't like doing this but my

second shooters usually do and they're great at it.

If there is a group of people and it seems like we're not interrupting sometimes she'll

walk over and say, "Hey, do guys want a photo together?"

Especially for some people that are very camera aware, it'd be nice to get some nice smiling

photos of them if we're not able to achieve those candid laughing ones because they seem

to always be aware of us.

I touched on this earlier but the cocktail hour can also be a great time to introduce

yourself to guests before and after you take images of them, of course not candid ones

because that's awkward.

If you pose a group of photos together, you can be like, "Hey, I'm Jamie.

It's really great to meet you guys."

Try to remember their names and it can be cool to make those connections.

Maybe you'll see them in the reception room later and give them a smile.

It just shows that you are a normal, fun human being and you're not there just to take photos

and go home.

You actually want to connect with these people and have a good time just like they're there

to have a good time.

My last little notes on cocktail hours.

I'm often pulling double duty between capturing the guest candids in the cocktail hour room

and then also keeping an eye on the reception room.

Are all the details set up?

Are all the chairs moved over if they used them in the ceremony?

Is that ready to go?

I usually just stay in touch with the coordinator so I know that I can get in that room to photograph

details before guests do.

Sometimes I'll be 15 minutes of cocktail hour, walk over to the reception room 15 minutes

2011-2014 F150 Roush R2300 590 HP Supercharger - Phase 2 Kit 6.2L Raptor Review & Dyno - Duration: 12:11.

The Roush R2300 Phase 2 Kit will be for the '11 to '14 Raptor owners out there who are

looking for massive power gains over stock or a naturally aspirated setup and would like

to go with an all-inclusive turnkey kit from one of the leaders in Ford aftermarket tuning.

Now, in fact, Roush does advertise this kit at 590 horsepower, 590 pound-feet of torque

at the crank, from that mighty 6.2-liter V8.

Of course, adding this much power doesn't always come cheap and that is the case here

as the Roush kit will run you upwards of $7,000, and the install is going to be a bit of a

test for my weekend wrenchers out there.

So I'm gonna go full three out of three wrenches on the difficulty meter, with a little bit

more detail later in the video.

But what do you say we dive head-first into the juicy details here, guys, and that is

what kind of power you might be able to expect when bolting up the 2.3-liter TVS blower to

your 6.2-liter Raptor.

Now, we already established a baseline run earlier using our 6.2 truck that you see here.

We then reran the truck with the blower installed and here are those results.

Now, on breaking down dyno numbers, guys, there are gonna be a ton of variables at play

here, including your tune, of course, bolt-ons, dyno, conditions, things like that.

So, ultimately, your results might be a little bit different compared to our truck.

However, this is just to give you a better idea what to expect when bolting up a blower

like this to your own Raptor.

But what do you say we break down this kit a little bit further?

And, without a doubt, the star of the Roush Phase 2 Kit is the Eaton TVS 2300 Rotor Pack,

which is the next generation or step up, if you will, from the older style Eaton which

was that M122 Roots Blower found on trucks like the old-school '99 to '04 Lightning and

even the Terminator Cobras.

Now, the TVS or, basically, the Twin Vortices Series is an extremely popular design that

does utilize a twin four-rotor lobe pack.

Those rotors are twisted 160 total degrees, which does just create a more efficient flow

over those older blowers that we just mentioned, and it just gonna create more power at lower

boost levels.

Now, that rotor pack is then loaded into what is called the rotor housing here and, on the

surface, this thing probably looks pretty familiar, especially if you spent some time

in the aftermarket Mustang or truck world, and that's because Roush, Ford Performance,

and even VMP, all utilize a very similar housing or design but with one big difference between

the Roush and VMP options.

Now, the Roush here is going to utilize a two-piece housing and elbow design, whereas

VMP is going to incorporate the elbow into the actual housing.

It's all one piece, and they do claim you're gonna get a little bit better air flow from

that design.

But with that being said and as you guys saw with their dyno numbers, the Roush has absolutely

no problem making big power as you saw with our dyno numbers.

So what are gonna be some of your big benefits when checking out a TVS-style blower from

Roush?

Well, guys, in my opinion, the biggies are gonna be the instantaneous power delivery

along with a nice, fat torque curve, and that's what you want as a truck owner.

Now, the power delivery is very linear, it's very predictable, making it a great choice

for any driving style out there but, let's be honest guys, these are trucks, you're just

gonna be driving it on-road, occasional off-road trip, maybe some towing as well, and the TVS

will shine in all three.

Compare that, especially, to a turbo setup or a centrifugal blower, which can sometimes

suffer from a little bit of lag, making power delivery a little bit more inconsistent, and

that's not what you want when you're off-road or towing, things like that.

Another nice thing about going with a TVS setup like this is that the blower layout

is relatively simple, just making for an easier install overall.

Again, compare this to a turbo setup, for instance, you're altering things like the

exhaust manifolds, you have to run a bunch of piping for the intercooler, oil lines,

change up your exhaust, along with a host of other things.

That's not really the case here, guys, with the TVS blower.

This thing is essentially just gonna replace the intake manifold on top of your 6.2, meaning

you don't have to change the exhaust, plumb a bunch of intercooler piping, things like

that.

Now, sure, there is some modification needed, and we'll discuss that in a second, but it's

a far less tedious job than building or installing a turbo kit, for instance.

But, as I did point out earlier, guys, this is, essentially, an all-inclusive kit here

and, yes, I know, obviously, I only have a couple of pieces on the table with me.

If you do go with this kit and you open the boxes for the first time, yes, plural, you'll

find hundreds of parts.

It's a very, very inclusive kit.

Turnkey is a great a way to sum this thing up because it is very, very thorough.

Now, when you do receive the package, you're gonna receive the lower portion here, which

is, essentially, your intercooler kit, air-to-water, it is going to incorporate some waterlines,

which will work hand in hand with the LTR or the low-temp rad, and that is going to

function, basically, as just a cooler for the air charge entering your engine, working

to help keep things cool.

Again, you are gonna receive that LTR or your heat exchanger.

Just a heads up, guys, this thing does not include any fans with this particular kit,

and if that is something you're worried about, if you live in a hot climate, do a lot of

desert running, things like that, you can certainly add some fans if you're interested.

On top of the lower portion here, of course, we talked about the rotor housing and pack,

you're also gonna be receiving the 60-millimeter twin throttle body, again, and matching spacer

with their kit, which is fed by their 100-millimeter cold air intake system and corresponding Roush

airbox.

Now, I'll tell you guys, the intake isn't going to be the largest on the market per

se, but the design from the Roush is completely on-point and is, basically, just gonna lead

to a nice smooth mass air flow signal, and that's something your tuner will appreciate

if you do decide to go the custom-tuning route.

And with that said, this does seem like a great time to talk about some of your tuning

options with this kit because you do have a couple of things to decide on.

The Roush kit does include their tuning voucher here which will need to be taken to your local

dealer and flashed by their specific tool, or if you want, guys, you can remove the PCM

in your Raptor, ship it out to Roush and they'll flash it for you for a $100 fee.

On the other hand, guys, you can check out the custom-tuning options.

Now, I'll be the first to tell you, the Roush calibration that is included with the kit

here, extremely safe and extremely polish.

So, yes, you might leave a little power on the table using the Roush calibration, but

at the same time, you're gonna be getting a truck back that drives like stock with a

lot more power.

On the other hand, you can certainly check out the custom-tuning route as a lot of people

choose to do, but keep in mind, guys, that will add to your final price as you're adding

a device along with the tune fee itself.

Now, ultimately, there will be a ton of options out there if you do decide to go the tuning

route or the custom-tuning route, rather.

Myself, I have TVS Supercharge Mustang at home.

I went with VMP, for instance, and I have had absolutely no complaints.

We do offer VMP's tuning services on the site, and you can certainly check that out if you

like, but at the end of the day, it's totally your call.

But enough about the tune, let's get back into the kit here.

We talked about the lower portion of the blower, we've talked about the rotor housing and rotor

pack, throttle body, cooling, now let's talk fuel.

The Phase 2 Kit does include 47-pound injectors in addition to a unique high-flow fuel rail.

Now, some tuners, depending on who you go with and depending on your power goals, might

try to steer you towards a slightly larger injector in addition to a Boost-A-Pump, again,

depending on your power goals here, but again, that is something you have to keep in mind

if you go a custom-tuning route.

If you installed the kit as it is right now and you use that Roush calibration, nothing

you have to worry about.

Everything will work just fine with what's included here, but if you do have bigger power

aspirations, larger injectors in addition to a Boost-A-Pump is never a bad idea.

Roush does also include the 80-millimeter pulley here with the Phase 2 Raptor Kit, which,

depending on your setup, put you right around 8 or so pounds of boost.

Now, the nice thing, however, with the TVS blowers, is that pulley swaps, literally take

a couple of minutes here, guys.

Slack the belt, grab a socket set, swap out the pulleys, and you're good to go.

You don't need any crazy tools or pullers or anything like that.

Now, in addition to that, guys, you're also gonna be receiving all of your wiring, hoses,

brackets, and again, everything that makes this, essentially, a 100% complete kit.

And, also worth pointing out, guys, all of the parts included with the Roush kit are

backed by their 3-year 36,000-mile warranty.

But switching gears, let's talk installation.

And, as I pointed out earlier in the video, guys, you're gonna be looking at a full three

out of three wrenches on the difficulty meter here and at least a day in the shop, probably

more like a weekend from start to finish to getting thing knocked out depending on your

expertise.

And speaking of expertise, this isn't something I'd recommend for my first-time wrenchers

out there.

It's certainly a little bit in-depth and tedious, so, if you're on the fence, take my advice,

take this thing to your local speed shop, have them install it.

You'll be glad you did at the end of the day.

On the other hand, if you do plan on getting down and dirty with this particular install

here, Roush makes things extremely straightforward, thanks to their detailed layout and instructions.

Make sure you have a rather solid set of tools on hand before getting started.

I know that probably seems pretty obvious, along with the detailed instructions printed

out or pulled up on your laptop ready to go.

Again, guys, Roush does have a very, very detailed write-up that you can reference or

print out online in addition to the ones that you receive with the kit itself.

Now your obvious first step here, guys, will be disassembly.

So remove your cold air, remove that intake manifold, the headlights actually have to

come out as well to make room or to gain access to the area where your heat exchanger will

go.

Now, once you have all the disassembly pretty much knocked out, you can then switch your

focus over to installing the actual Supercharger Kit, along with the fuel rail setup.

Now, with the Supercharger installed, install the throttle body, along with all your vacuum

lines and your electrical connections that you might have missed earlier on, but just

basically follow those detailed instructions.

With things coming together under the hood, now you can move to the front of the truck

to install that new heat exchanger and, of course, the corresponding waterlines, degas

bottle and pump.

There are also a few brackets and idler pulleys that will need to be installed first before

installing that new belt here.

Roush does include the belt routing diagram in the instructions to help you out along

the way.

Now, with the heat exchanger in place, the Supercharger essentially wrapped up and the

belt in place, it's time to tackle the rest of the small stuff.

This includes finishing up your electrical connections, regap the plugs according to

the instructions, refill the cooling system along with the intercooler, of course, and

being sure to prime the system first before the initial startup.

Reassemble the front end of your truck, upload the tune and fire everything up, checking

for leaks, and your installation is complete.

Now, keep in mind here gang, I get it.

This was a very basic and very general walk-through of the install.

There is a lot more steps involved, trust me, but this is just to give you a better

idea of what you are going to be dealing with.

Now, if you want an even better idea about the install, just check out those instructions

online before getting dirty with the install to see if this one will be for you or not.

Wrapping this one up, guys, as a proud owner of a Roush TVS Kit on my personal Mustang,

I can tell you that the Phase 2 Raptor-specific Kit will be a great way to take your already

badass Raptor to the next level and beyond.

And you can grab your kit right here at americantrucks.com.
