Hi, everyone! LOUD SOUND speaking.
And today, we're doing a very unusual review.
'Cuz it has no connection to car audio whatsoever.
It does, however, have something to do with PC.
With modding, in particular.
I recently came up with an idea of shooting a video,
my complete history with computers, game consoles,
games, software and stuff. What I've worked with,
what games I've played, what years were my nerdiest.
And for that, I decided to modify my PC a notch.
I mean, at the moment, my PC looks, well... ordinary.
Let's call it 'ordinary'.
I spotted HyperPC, the company that makes really cool PC assemblies,
and what I loved most was they make individual projects,
with logos and stuff. And each PC is different from the previous one.
I didn't contact them to get some free stuff. I asked to really work on the looks,
'cuz I have all the hardware, and it's nice hardware, too.
I'll spare a few words about them now.
A more detailed overview of this PC, taken apart, you'll see at the HyperPC channel.
Make sure you subscribe to them. Here is the link, in the description, too.
The guys took it with a great attitude. I don't mean, with great responsibility,
but creatively - just what I like.
Usually, when you address someone, they are, like, 'Oh, we need publicity!'
Or vice versa, those bloggers who sell commercials, right?
All those, 'I'm not giving a fart about you unless you pay me. Money first, then we talk.'
These guys were, like, 'Oh, cool! We know you, we watch your reviews.
We'll make you a tailored PC with nice conditions'. Let's put it like that.
I mean, there was no... Well, I told them I had the video card, the motherboard etc.
Well, they did go, 'We'll replace this and that.'
Anyway, right now, I am packing my PC just the way it is at the moment,
and sending it to them. You'll see what they do with it on their channel.
And after they're done, my channel will grow by a very interesting video of me telling
about my first encounter with computers. It was back in the 1980's.
About how I got hooked up hard on consoles in the '90's.
And then there were PCs. How I worked at a computer club.
I guess I'll show the first video I ever made. The first LOUD SOUND video.
I'm guessing it would be an interesting video.
I mean, I'm thrilled to do some summing up myself. Well, it has been as little as almost three decades
since I was first introduced to the world of computers.
I wasn't even 10 when I was my first IBM PC XT, no hard drive.
Everything was on 5.25" floppy disks back then.
Only RAMs and floppy disks.
Many of you have no clue what I'm talking about right now.
I'll go into details in that review which I'm going to make
once I get my PC back from the HyperPC guys.
And now, I'll just go briefly... Here's my workplace.
All of this will also be covered in the review. I'll tell about all this beauty.
Sure will.
About my workplace. Now, really briefly to keep the intrigue on,
so that it's interesting when you see the review/
two 1080 TI's, Aurus Gaming Edition, I think.
Anyway, not regular ones but pumped up a bit.
An 860 power supply unit.
Some argue you need 1 kW, or even 1.2 kW.
Well, yeah, you do when you turn on Battlefield at 200%, all set at max
in UltraHD, 3440 by 1440, all settings set at their highest, and try run it all off your PC.
4 memory boards, 8 Gb each. I think they're Corsair.
I bought the extra 2 'cuz I found out that the processor was 4-channel,
and they told me 4 memory channels would speed up the work. Bullcrap.
I tried speeding it up, slowing down, putting 2 and 4 plates. BS. It affects nothing.
Some benchmarks, maybe.
I compared all of that in rendering. Anyways, I'll tell all about it later.
This is a show of shame here.
But it's up to the guys with HyperPC. Let them tell the heck out of this.
I even got this temporary solution.
I'm sending it right like this. For fun.
Here. It's on now if you were wondering.
I'm just gonna shove it here to run the air there.
Here's a cooler, two more here. Three for the video card, one underneath.
One for this output, two for the input here.
And it's... The temperature still goes up to 85°C (185°F)
when it's rendering or when a game is on.
Right, it's the processor. The video cards go up to 82°C (180°F) I think.
Well, over 80°C (176°F), that's for sure.
So, whenever it's - in case you haven't guessed, this is a balcony transformed into a study -
whenever it's cold here for some reason, I just run a game,
and, well, the room warms up quite quickly.
The monitor is no IPS. Apart from that, it's fully tuned.
The price is 50k rub. It's an AOC.
I'll tell you more about it if you want. The same refers to the IPS.
And for 50 more, a Satellite is coming in.
Here's a DIY lamp amp. Sennheiser earphones.
I'll spill the details on all of this, too.
And now, I'm packing all of this up and... well, sending it over.
Follow the guys on social media. I'll ask them to keep you posted
when my PC arrives, how they saw it, how they were shocked.
Btw... I'm not sure here. I asked, should I clean it? They said, send it the way it is.
So, in case they troll me hard... I'm not sure... Let's see.
Well, yeah. Mine is not the world's cleanest PC.
Btw, I got rid of the CD-ROM - didn't need it -
so that the cooler I fixed up there had the air to breathe.
I complained about my motherboard to the guys. I hate it, I really do.
This constant UST lottery. I don't know which one is 3.0 or 2.0, one's fine, the other one's not working.
Ugh, USB is a constant bitch on this PC.
And, of course, let me speak gaming.
I have this thingy here. It's an Oculus Rift.
I'll speak in details about all this fun stuff.
This is a nice one, actually. I did feed up playing it quite fast, tho.
So, subscribe to the HyperPC channel, wait for their videos with my PC.
Follow them on social media. The links are here, under the video.
Follow up any news about my PC in case they do or post something.
I'll ask them to please you by keeping you posted.
But I'm not sending in the hard drives!
So, in case you're waiting for insider information, some LOUD SOUND secrets,
you're not getting any!
But as soon as they send my PC back, I'll tell you all about it,
about the arrangement here, why I placed things like this, why I hate Mac.
I guess I could tell how I edit my videos.
...how long they take to render.
While you're waiting, leave comments here on what you'd like to find out about my computer.
Also, if you have any suggestions or recommendations for me,
for the HyperPC guys to hear them and do them to my PC,
dunno, maybe some new M2 with crazy high speed is out...
Speaking of N2. I have one here.
Hard... Not hard. Solid. An SSD.
I think it's Samsung.
It's one really nice hard.
See? I'm ancient. I still call those Hard drives.
So, make sure you leave your comments on how to improve it, what to check out.
I think guys will be reading this, too. They might find interesting ideas.
Perhaps, you'll be the one to help make my PC even doper.
The guys with the company have a really nice approach. Let me spare a word.
I hope everything's gonna be alright.
Considering all those PCs they've put together for other bloggers,
it's not that I think it won't be alright.
But I think we might run a poll with you all,
whose PC is the coolest.
Here, one for AcademeG. You can check out his config on their website.
Let's see. Oh, look! He has the same processor I have.
Only one video card and it's not TI.
Kostya, you wear glasses, don't you? I mean, you look like a nerd more than me.
How come? Why so few, Kostya? The PC's body is awesome, though.
Check this out. Stitching, leather - maybe artificial, I don't know.
Check out the water on the video cards and the processor. Super cool!
Well, surf their website, check out PCs for other bloggers.
Maybe warn them against something so they don't do it with my PC.
I mean, modding can be crappy at some points.
Maybe there's some hardware not to be used. Leave your comments on the matter.
I really need this sort of comments. I've always been all about functionality.
I don't give a damn to what it looks like.
But since I'm doing that story, I thought I might as well upgrade my PC.
After all, it's gonna be kinda the final page - at this moment -
in my history with comptuers.
So I figured it should be if not the toppest PC in Russia, but sure one of them.
That's all. Bye, everyone! Live LOUD!
