Tiemoue Bakayoko's Chelsea misery continues as he's hauled off against Leicester at half-time and is slated on social media
TIEMOUE BAKAYOKOS Chelsea misery continued as he was hauled off at half-time against Leicester and instantly slated on social media.
The France midfielder again looked out of sorts and was booked for a daft challenge on Vicente Iborra just before the break in an absorbing FA Cup quarter-final.
Tiemoue Bakayoko struggled to make an impact and was taken off at half-time, although Chelsea led 1-0 while he was on the field.
Bakayoko, 23, who has been capped once, was promptly replaced by Cesc Fabregas.
And Twitter was soon awash with scathing comments.
One fan tweeted: That corner flag has played better than Bakayoko.
And another said: Fabregas on for Bakayoko.
Thank God..
Yet, after leading through Alvaro Moratas 42nd minute breakaway goal when Bakayoko was on the field, the Blues were pegged back by Jamie Vardys scrambled equaliser in the 76th minute.
Tiemoue Bakayoko once more looked off the pace in the middle of the Chelsea midfield.
