Youtube daily report Mar 7 2018

There's a saying

behind every great man is a great woman.

But there's a divide.

A gap.

A separation.

It's about acknowledging the unseen efforts.

The disparity.

And expectations.

Support. What does it mean to have support?

To give support to live without support?

It's time that support goes both ways.

Because beside every great man

is a great woman

What is a 'Lemon' | Idiom in English - Duration: 4:12.

So you're buying a car in an English-speaking country and people tell

you not to buy a 'lemon.' What's a lemon? We're going to find that out today. "I

bought a car, but the driver's side door came off when I opened it. It must be a

lemon. I bought a car, but when I got home, I opened the door,

and the door came off. The car must be a lemon." "Don't buy a used car from that

person; he'll try to sell you a lemon. Don't try to buy a used car from that

person; he'll try to sell you a lemon." Now that sounds confusing, right? Because

you know... I know... lemons are fruit. A lemon is a yellow

fruit and it tastes sour. So what does a sour, yellow fruit have to do with buying

a car? Well, a lemon is a word we use to talk about cars that are in bad condition.

So, the cars either don't work, or are dangerous. You find this information out

after you buy the car. So, when you buy a car and then, after a little small time

of driving it, you find out it doesn't work properly... that's when you know you

may have a lemon. In America, there are laws called 'lemon laws' to protect car

buyers from buying lemons. So you can... you know... get your money back, or trade in

that car for a different car that works properly. Okay?

However, lemon laws do not always apply to used cars, right? You have a car...

someone else has driven it before you, and

then sold it. So, if you buy a used car, in some places - some states - lemon laws do not

protect you. So people are very worried about buying lemons. One day, I needed to

buy a new car, and I spent about $3,500 on a year 2000 Toyota Camry, and it

seemed to work pretty good the first day I drove it around. However, then the

engine heat came on. The more I drove it, the hotter the engine got, and I needed

to spend money on repairs, and try different things. I think I spent almost

$1,000 over three trips to different mechanics just to fix that one problem.

And so, I would have been better off just spending a thousand dollars buying a

better condition car. So, that was very close to a lemon. You can tell you have a

lemon if... no matter how many times you take your car to be fixed, there's always

something wrong. Right? That's how you know you have a lemon. So, have you ever

bought a lemon before when you went shopping for a car?

Matchmaking Time! - Part 1 - Duration: 2:47.

Porsche, who broke up with her boyfriend, Todd,

last year recently told the Daily Dish that there is only

one housewife she would trust to set her up on a date, NeNe Leakes.

So Porsche said that NeNe knows all the different sides of her personality.

And that she'd be able to pick a guy who'd be able to deal with where she's at in her

life right now.

So, Amara, >> Yes.

>> You, my girl are single.

>> I surely am.

>> I wanna know, who would you trust to set you up with a man?

>> Okay so, definitely not my mom, >> Why not?

>> Yeah my mom can't know,

she's gonna pick no, >> [LAUGH]

>> But you know what,

I would like you girls to help me find a man.

>> Say really, really, why?

>> I know I got all of this.

>> [APPLAUSE] >> All of this and it's going to waste.

>> Okay, but why do you trust us, Amara?

Why do you think we should be the ones to do it?

>> Well because you girls behave, you know what's going on.

We have similar personalities, we're fabulous.

And so I think you would kinda get it, maybe you guys can help me find true love.

>> We have to ask questions [CROSSTALK] like what you're into?

>> What do you want?

>> Okay, so if you're looking for a man, what kinda height would you prefer?

Do you prefer tall, short?

>> Actually I'm not picky,

but the one thing I do like is a man that has a little tummy.

>> So he doesn't have to have a six-pack.

>> If you have a six-pack it's okay, but if you have a little tummy,

you know what I'm saying, I think it's kinda cute.

>> I love that too.

>> Okay, what kind of profession?

>> What kind of profession would you like?

>> It doesn't really matter the profession.

Okay so here are my things,

he has to be smart cuz we have to have an intelligent conversation.

>> That's good to be smart.

>> You have to have a great personality, cuz I have a big personality.

So you can't be all dry and I'm like, aah!

That´s too much.

>> [LAUGH] >> And

then I also like them to show me their love.

Sometimes it´s important to show me that you care.

>> What do you mean, is this [CROSSTALK] >> What´s a romantic

way of showing you love?

What does that mean for Amara?

>> Money.

>> Ha, no.

>> [LAUGH] >> Not like that because It's not like I'm

a gold digger.

Not like that because I gets my owns money.

>> Okay. >> [APPLAUSE]

>> But I like to know that if something

were to go wrong, you have my back that's all that I'm saying.

>> Okay. >> Stable, and

my mom has to like you cuz if my mom don't like you it's done.

>> Okay wait, wait.

I wanna know this, it's more interesting to me.

What is a no go?

What is an absolute, even a pet peeve that he does?

Give me a pet peeve.

>> If you eat and you smack, [SOUND] we're done.

>> [APPLAUSE] >> That's not good.

>> What about teeth?

What is the one thing in a guy that attracts you?

You know how people have certain things, I love dimples?

Or what like- >> I love a butt.

>> [LAUGH] [CROSSTALK] He has to have a big booty?

>> He has to have a big booty?

>> No, no, no just have a little nice shape.

You know what I am saying, a little [SOUND] that's kinda cute.

>> Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, now we are gonna go there?

The Style Guide - Men part II. - Duration: 3:30.

Hello everyone! This is Club Mareni.

British style

They represent the British country style in modern life.

In this group we find classical lines,

as in general in the aristocratic style.

Do not exaggerate even in the colors:

brown, ocher yellow, earth colors

and of course the Tweed, which is an unmissable fabric.

The elegant casual

They represent metropolitan style.

They mix luxury items with less formal pieces.

For example, a leather jacket with a cashmere sweater,

a tailored shirt with simple trousers

are perfect examples of this elegant casual style.

They are the ones who use spezzatura - the mix and match-

I explained really well this one...

so

they like matching different fabrics and styles together.

The Italians are masters of the spezzatura,

also the word itself comes from them too,

it means to break something.

Minimalist

Dark colors, modern pieces and innovative lines.

They keep away from fantasies,

and they take trends only for information.

Their best friend is color black

that is quite mysterious and distant for his taste,

but at the same time it's modern and elegant enough.

The young intellectual

This group mixes the young American and British university style with the current trends.

In general they use classic men's wear

combined with aristoratical British style pieces

mixed with a little modern casual style

They follow the trends

but transform them into their language.

This group is inspired by the style of rock bands.

They are rebels, easy style men

who wear leather jacket, and t shirt with prints.

Each piece of their clothing carries a message and has a story.

And our last group is the sportsmen

They love technical fabrics and models with sporty cuts.

They prefer jeans with a t-shirt with breathable fabric that they wear with gym shoes.

These are more or less the style groups that form street view in these times.

If you managed to recognize yourself in a group, write me a comment.

Thanks for watching.

Changing How Your TSP Funds are Invested - Duration: 0:57.

Hi Ellie here from the TSP.

In this video you'll learn how

to change the way your

money is invested among

the TSP's funds.

To change which funds

you invest in there are

two transactions you can make.

A contribution allocation tells us

how you want to invest new money

coming into your account.

An Interfund transfer or IFT

allows you to change

the way money already

in your account is invested.

Remember you're allowed two IFTs

in a calendar month

after that you

can only transfer money

into the G fund.

You may request a

contribution allocation

or an IFT by logging into

"My Account" at tsp.gov

and visiting the online transactions

menu on the left.

You could also call the

ThriftLine at 1-877-968-3778.

and follow the automated prompts.

And Now You Know.

How To Reduce Stress - Duration: 16:31.

I'm gonna share a personal story with you guys and just a side note I'm

outside it's gorgeous out here and because I'm a small youtuber and I just

kind of started the Sun it's like my best source of lighting and sometimes I

think about it I wish I would have started sooner because I've always

wanted to do it but I'm so happy to be here now and to Phil as though we missed

the meeting right and I'm gonna be a part of this thing that is larger than

myself as I speak to you guys right now I'm incredibly stressed out and it's

windy out here I'm not crying or any English it's just like the wind that's

getting to me but as I sit here and talking about stress relief with you

guys right now I'm stressed beyond belief actually

since I started YouTube since I decided you

get away from corporate and start my own thing to actually feel like I am making

a difference in people's lives so getting online and actually opening

up to you guys and excited me and showing you guys every side of me and

making the videos and trying to be on schedule with those videos the editing

everything it's so stressful I'm so stressed now and it's so much work it's

so much work but it's totally worth it but yeah since I decided to leave but I

am still a psychology major and I'm a sling and so these are topics that we

talk about all the time and I think are very important for us to

just kind of explore the options that we have and help to actually reduce stress

recognizing the symptoms of stress so for example some emotional symptoms of

stress could be if you are irritated more often than usual

that would be wine if you find that you're having a lot

more mood swings than usual or if you find that you are a lot sadder and like

a lot more down than usual the symptoms that I tend to get the most and the way

that I know that I've stressed our physical symptoms and I think that most

people they know they're stressed because they start filling it physically

so some of the ones that I'm currently going through right now is lack of sleep

I literally I'm literally getting like maybe four hours of sleep at night so

I'm not sleeping a lot or enough hours actually

my temper so I find that my patience is a lot shorter when I'm stressed out I'm

less able to handle situations that I should be able to handle

even if I don't want to be in that particular situation so I have a shorter

that's shorter temper and so I get angrier quicker that's another one for

me so I guess these are both physical and behavioral symptoms so I notice a

lot of changes in my behavior when I'm stressed out and I start eating less for

me some people that's eating more when they're stressed out they tend to

compensate for that by eating a lot more I eat less

and I'm not eating enough so they're both pretty I mean you kind of want to

be a happy middle spot mean a middle ground so cognitive symptoms so so

things like difficulty paying attention or concentrating on any one task or one

thing or having sick circular top thoughts that's one that happens to me a

lot especially at night when I'm not able to sleep my mind just keeps going

and going and going and then I just end up getting up and not being able to

sleep so those are some cognitive sometimes to be aware of fun but a lot

of us know when we're getting stressed and we know when we're stressed and we

start filling I'm sorry it's like windy out here right so the struggle and we

start filling a lot more pressure and a lot of times it's because you know we're

less to deal with everything that comes at us

on a daily basis we have less energy to deal with it were not as motivated as we

could be or should be so that's another thing now the question

is then becomes what do we do about reducing stress is reducing our stress

take deep breaths so I try to take a minute or two sit down so if you're

stressed right now just take a minute or two with me sit down and just take a

deep breath

and release it out slowly and just kind of keep doing that keep repeating that

and just release slowly and I do that a couple of times as long as necessary

especially when I feel overwhelmed I feel like a lot of things are coming at

me at the same time I tend to just kind of take a 3d better pause everything

like everything just kind of needs to pause and keep in mind guys that God has

three answers for any situation and every day that we kind of lived through

in any situation that we're in the first is yes the second is not now and the

third is I have something better so try to remind yourself of that you know

whatever it is that you might believe in whether it's God

remind yourself of that those are the usually the answers because when one

door closes another one

I remind myself of especially now with this transition because I come from a

work Brett and I was making a really really decent amount especially for my

age but I wanted to feel like I was making more of an impact it so this is

something that I really wanted to do for myself

so remind yourself up that in if things still overwhelming just pause everything

sit down and take deep breaths and pretty breathe and cut out caffeine

completely because caffeine actually increases your hormone level

it kind of increases the intensity at which you're feeling stressed and a lot

of us what we do is when we're stressed in order to kind of keep that energy up

or that feeling of having energy up we tend to compete even more coffee and

that's the opposite of what we should be doing you need to reduce your

consumption of caffeine a lot of times it comes in the form of coffee that a

lot of us like to drink coffee and you really need to either cut that out

completely for the time being and replace that with water or something

healthier or reduce it drastically but I know like a lot of us in order to keep

functioning and keep feeling like we're functioning and at like an optimal

strength we I personally don't drink coffee but I

drink other things that

think that I can to like to do when I'm feeling stressed writing everything down

because what's happening now that I'm a little bit more stressed trying to

figure everything out the logistics out YouTube has changed its rules it

just everything the impact that I want to make

and trying to connect with you

as my mind is always running and so at night one of the things that actually

keeps me from going to sleep is that I can't stop thinking and my mind is going

up and down and up and down and I just keep thinking about all these things

like what are its ideas that I have for videos or next steps or what to do about

this and what to do about that now that I'm kind of working for myself and when

I write it down I write all those thoughts down because here's the be made

a family before you try to avoid oops did not think about it and suppress it

for example if you're trying to go to sleep

your money's going crazy the worse it gets

it's just not gonna so you need an outlet for that and my outlet

lighting candles oh my gosh I have a lot of candles in my apartment in my little

apartment that's all lined up I have some new ones

even though I'm not done with the ones that I already have so lighting candles

is really therapeutic for me and if you've never done it you could try it

and see if that's something that you would like and that's something that

your stress I love scented candles Emily didn't smell so I have a lot of candles

and I'd like that to be really really help

another thing that I do is essential oils I have a lot of essential oils and

I actually have it boiled thank you sir I put some water in there and I put the

oil and it just kind of you know fills the air with like scented smells I know

not a lot of people or a lot of people might not like the strong scent that

smells so you can opt to go with my candles instead like I do both because

they both work for me and they are both relaxing for me so that's another thing

that I do it makes you work out at least three times a week so today as I'm

shooting this video it's one of my workout days so I'm gonna go to the gym

a little bit later on and run a couple of miles and just do a great workout now

this is hard for me sometimes because when I'm working and caught caught up in

the flow of the day I don't want to interrupt that I feel like I have so

much to get done and you know the first thing that get caught off a lot of times

is exercise and so I make it a priority in my life to exercise at least three

times a week because what I've come to understand is that health is number one

and that everything else comes after and and exercising is a very important part

of staying healthy and I'm number one taking care of myself is the first thing

first and foremost and then everything else comes after I'll be able to be more

effective more efficient so that's what I do I try to make sure to work out a

minimum I also like the benefits you know I buy

all the type of things kind of like make it really nice and I may go event out of

it when I do take that I actually buy it's kind of like a table so when I'm in

the bath I can put it on top and I have my laptop and I'm watching shows that I

love to watch and I have a glass of wine I make it out it's a whole eat bad guys

when I take baths so that is really something that helps me relax and it

helps me be stress when I'm feeling stressed out is hot bubble baths and I

put like certain soaps in there and things like that make it really really

nice really really pretty and when I just

when I get in and I just so kid it's really realizing for me I haven't had a

chance to do that in a couple of weeks but that's another thing that I tend to

do my box as well take on a new hobby I recently took on playing the piano

because I think it would be really really awesome to know how to how to

actually play the piano

so take on a new hobby that you think you would enjoy and one thing that I

really want you guys to know and remember and always keep in mind is that

you can take on a new hobby start and stop starting it's down a lot of people

felt bad because when they take on a new hobby and then they do it for a couple

of weeks or a couple of days they they end up stopping and then they're just

like oh well that didn't work or whatever no if you like doing it it's

okay to start and stop and like if something happens and you just didn't

keep doing it then a couple of weeks later you're like oh I did like doing

that and you pick it back up again and that's how you know you kind of progress

and eventually hopefully integrate that into your lifestyle but it's okay

it's not if those would have been wrong with that don't let it discourage you

for trying that or continuing to do that like every time you remember oh I did

used to do that to relieve some stress and I did like doing it so I'm gonna go

do it again just keep doing it so it's okay to start and stop those are all the

tips that I have in order to help you guys relieve some stress and what helps

me relieve some stress especially now in this time period for myself I'm so glad

to have the support of the subscribers that I currently have right not to focus

on bad just because and so appreciate it

support and so those are some of the things that I do in order to relieve

some of my stress especially now that I really stressed out at this time

period just do take it one minute one hour one

day at a time and I mean that in the most literal way possible because what

happens is we have a lot of things coming at us at once sometimes and we

feel like everything is a priority and everything needs to get done and

slow down when that starts happening pause push pause take a couple of deep

breaths and pick one plane take it one at a time maybe what's most important

what or what are you gonna start with what do you feel like starting with and

start with that and you know once you're done with that we want

because there's always going to be a lot of things that you just have to start

with one you can't necessarily do everything and when you start with one

you find that because once you're done with that the next thing that happens to

me like every day thank you guys for joining me today I so appreciate you

guys I reach eight you watch this video subscribe comment below let me know your

thoughts and I will guys soon bye bye

2019 Hyundai Santa Fe Crossover First Drive Review | With Subtittle - Duration: 8:58.

Say goodbye to the Hyundai Santa Fe Sport.

For 2019, it becomes the Santa Fe -- a two-row crossover that will continue to compete with

the likes of the Nissan Rogue, Ford Edge and Toyota RAV4.

Three-row versions coming afterwards, which will go up against the Honda Pilot and Ford

Explorer, will get an "XL" or some other, yet undisclosed name tacked onto the nameplate

depending on the nature of the configuration.

As such, it will have big shoes to fill in this increasingly competitive segment.

The timing appears right for the crossover be brought into its own, and Hyundai has done

its better to make sure it plucks its heavines against its competitors .

With the updated name comes an updated examine.

In the body, it's a handsome ute that seems more SUV than CUV: beefed up and boxy, and

less overtly elegant than so many swoopy crossover profiles we see today.

Its big-hearted, chiseled appearance gives a Lexus-like gravitas without looking too

complicated or polarizing -- check out the slight pinch where the "cascading" grille

satisfies the front bumper.

The rising beltline appears modern, while the mostly horizontal roof and virtually vertical

rear end experience anciently familiar; maybe a utility vehicle can sate our thirst for

wagons after all .

Inside, the new Santa Fe has an air of quality to it, perhaps not in strict terms of materials,

but in thoughtfulness.

Hyundai does good happenings with inexpensive substances, and in general the interior is

well to be laid down -- specifically, the center console and its switchgear experience

utilitarian and planned.

We desired the smooth, close-fisted experience of the leather wheel in our hand and the crispness

of the digital presentation center to the instrument cluster.

The seats are cozy, supportive without seeming cushy, and it was easy to find a natural seating

situate with little change.

Visibility is good, despite what you might feel from looking at that high beltline to

areas outside.

There's a fixed piece of glass ahead of the side windows to improve spate cables at the

bottom of the A-pillar.

Checking the blind spot, the larger rear one-quarter window behind the second largest row of sitting

aid with visibility .

It was simply after spending a couple of hours in the cabin that we noticed that there's

a lot going on here.

The headliner in our tester had a examine somewhere between chambray and denim, but

seemed soft to the contact.

The pinnacle of the flair was a softish dark plastic -- a polyurethane leatherette, to

be more specific.

Below that, patterned metal trimming encircling the front inmates.

There was some harder dark plastic.

Then the speakers on the doors were jet black plastic structured into a type of motion motif.

On its own, each of these materials is attractive.

But take a step back, and consider it all at once, and the new Santa Fe's approach is

all a bit much.

Construct sure you like the style your materials and patterns look together before you sign

on the dotted path .

The 2.0 -liter diesel mill in our Korean domestic tester felt like a really solid little engine,

but it won't be part of the engine lineup we get in the Country.

We'll be offered a duo of gasoline engines: a 2.4 -liter inline-four good for 185 horsepower

and 178 pound-feet of torque, and a 2.0 -liter turbo four rendering 235 hp and 260 lb-ft.

Come 2019, we'll get a 2.2 -liter turbodiesel attaining 190 horsepower and an impressive

322 pound-feet of torque .

Despite offering different engines to the U.S. market, all sells will get a new eight-speed

automatic transmission routing power to two or four rotates.

In our diesel tester, the dissemination did its position by standing out of the style.

Shifts happen in the background; frankly, we basically forgot about it as we tooled

around near the river perimeter with North koreans.

We'll be interested if the two additional gears offer any improvement to the already

solid American engine provides, specially the turbocharged gas mill .

On Korea's smooth roads, the Santa Fe seemed perfectly comfortable.

We didn't notice much racket or crusade, even on the downhill segments laden with Korea's

version of acceleration remembers that seem like a hybrid of low-toned acceleration bumps

and rumble strips.

It was quiet going down the road, but we'll substitute a final judgment on racket until

we can exam it at the higher cruising velocities allowed on U.S. freeway .

The navigation and entertainment system's touch presentation was crystal clear and quick

to respond to inputs.

We didn't find ourselves getting "ve lost" the menus( or on South Korea's routes) thanks

to the pushbuttons encircling the screen.

The voice instructions were easy to follow, and the head-up presentation helped you count

down the paws( well, meters in Korea) until your next switch.

Interestingly enough, it let us know where all the traffic cameras were, a feature we'd

hope to see in the U.S .

The Santa Fe's suite of driver assist organizations, specially the adaptive sail restraint, working

for you.

It follows at a comfortable interval, and showed us on the HUD the car in front of us

relative to our interval fix, which really took the guesswork out of specifying the crack.

Lane keep facilitate facilitated nudge us toward the center of our lane, and would tell

us know if we were crossing over without a signal.

You can become the rear camera on for a idea behind you while you're driving, which isn't

always practical, but we're glad to have it available .

We merely left the sidewalk for a brief diversion to visit an ancient fortres overlooking the

atlantic provinces.

The cratered dirt direction took us up a steep mountain to a idea overlooking the beach,

as well as a number of military outposts and, in the distance, North koreans.

On the style back up, it was a bumpy journey, but the car succeeded just fine.

Wouldn't want to take it off-roading, but we think it'd fare just fine on Michigan's

disintegrating springtime roads .

We didn't tackle many exciting areas, and emphatically not at high speeds -- apparently

that's just something you don't do in Korea.( It's not something one truly does in a crossover

in general, but median Korean street accelerates are considerably lower than ours .) Still,

we found the Santa Fe to comfortably oversee narrow curves with oncoming traffic in the

opposite lane with confidence, even without the help of the lane minder.

The Santa Fe's real exam will be how it handles the rougher roads and higher accelerates of

America .

Our time with the new Santa Fe was brief, and it wasn't a U.S.-spec model, so we didn't

get to dive deeply into some of the features American purchasers will enjoy.

A couple of things we thought were interesting, though, are either new peculiarities, or a

new take over ones we've seen before, and ones we're provoked to experience in real

world usage .

The first is the Safe Exit Assist system, which will be offered in the U.S. as well.

This facet thwarts the inmates from opening the door if the Santa Fe detects another vehicle

approaching from the back.

This keeps the driver or passenger from getting a doorway ripped off or, worse, stepping in

front of a delivery truck.

The second facet is a Rear Occupant Alert, which is something we've seen pop up in a

number of vehicles of late.

In the Santa Fe, though, its utilizations an ultrasonic sensor in the headliner to see

flow in the back seats.

If it feels a kid or pet left with, it the car will honk the cornet, flash its lightings

and even send the driver an alert on their smartphone if are attached to Hyundai's Blue

Link busines .

From our initial testing, the 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe stands to be a obliging competitor

when it arrives the summer months.

We're looking forward to investing more occasion with it so we can formulate rulings about

the versions we could actually put in our own garage.

Dropping "Sport" from the badging, Hyundai is demonstrating the Santa Fe room to stand

tall on its own virtues as a core is part of the lineup.

Judging by our first preface with the 2019 representation, with its stylish new look,

tone interior and smooth new dissemination, it's worthy of the position .

Samsung Galaxy S9+ Unboxing & First Impressions | Digit.in - Duration: 4:12.

Hey guys welcome to digit.in and as you can see we have the Galaxy S9+

with us. And it's a brand new box. It's still pretty sealed. We are going to

struggle a little bit to get this seal open so bear with us. The phone was

announced in India today and we have a link in the description giving you all the

details which include the price, availability and all the schemes that

the phone comes with. And here it is the first thing that you get when you open

the box. It is not exactly the phone but the Quick Start Guide and a little case

which we will get to in a bit. And here it is, the Galaxy S9+.And

we have the black variant of the phone as you can see there are the dual

cameras and the fingerprint sensor below it. And what a beauty it is! But we will

get to the phone in just a second. Let's see what else we get in the box.

You have the wall socket which you know is pretty much standard what you would

expect. You have a USB adapter as well that comes in the box which is kind of a

nice touch if you need to transfer data from an older phone. And let's see what

else is there. Yep you get the USB type-c cable as well which is also pre jet

black. And you get a pair of AKG powered headphones and this is actually pretty

nice seeing Samsung partner with a headphone maker to get you a nice pair

of headphones in the box. How they actually fair in quality is something we

will tell you when we actually test it. Now coming back to the phone itself of

course it makes sense that Samsung would give you this rubber clad case in the

box itself because the back of the phone is glass and you know you don't you

don't want to get a lot of fingerprint or get that dirty. You may want to invest

in a better case if you are a little more finicky. We are gonna power on this

phone and take it through its paces. But this was just an initial unboxing and to

show you what you get in the box so pretty feature packed box with

headphones, the charger and the USB adapter. The Galaxy S9 plus features a

6.2 inch quad HD Super AMOLED display. Now the display looks gorgeous.

Samsung has truly perfected its sharpness and color temperature. It's not

the warm or too cold. It looks just right. Colors are rendered

beautifully and the touch response is ultra smooth. The device runs on the

Exynos 9810 processor and comes with 6GB of RAM. As always we

haven't seen the Qualcomm variant launched in india. It will be available

in two storage variants 64GB and 256GB. The best part is that the storage can be

expanded up to a whopping 400 GB via a microSD card. The AKG Tunes stereo

speakers are loud and promise a surround sound feel with Dolby Atmos. But we will

reserve our judgment till the review is done. As far as security is concerned the

device can be unlocked using a number of methods including pattern lock, pin lock,

password, iris scan, fingerprint scanning, facial recognition as well as a

multimodal biometric authentication with the iris scanner and face recognition. Beat that!

This year the most important feature of the Galaxy S9 lineup is the

rear camera setup with a variable aperture. You can manually switch between

two aperture sizes F/1.5 and F/2.4. And since this is a dual camera setup you

also get the Live Focus mode. The camera app is fast and it's easy to switch

between various modes including the 960 fps slow-motion mode. Another cool

feature even though it's picked up from Apple's animojis is new AR emojis. Now

what it does is essentially converts your face into this an AR emoji and you

can actually make videos like this one and share it with your friends. It

doesn't matter whether you have a galaxy S9+ or a Galaxy S8 or any other

phone. You can still share it and on first look, well feels a little gimmicky

but it's still an interesting feature right?

So these were our first impressions of the new Samsung Galaxy S9+. Whether

the device is a worthy upgrade from the Galaxy S8 plus is something we will

comment in our review. Till then you can tell us what you thought of this video

in the comment section below and don't forget to like and share it. Thanks for

watching we will catch you in another video. It's good bye for now.

projectBRAVEbyNB Volume 2, Part 4 | ItsNasB - Duration: 4:04.

Hey, it's ya girl, Nas B, again, with the fourth installment of volume two of projectBRAVE. So this week I wanted to talk

about the fact that initially when I came up with the concept for projectBRAVE

I did not think to include

boys or men. My motivation was to help my younger cousin who is a girl. Somewhere along the way though, in the

execution of volume one, I thought to include men. And

while I know and I would never deny that there's so much more pressure on girls and women on non-men

essentially to look a certain way, and we are more likely to have

insecurities about our bodies,

I believe that body love is for everybody. And

when I say that I truly mean it. And while I've only had thus far, to my knowledge, participants who identify as either male or female,

please know that you are welcome to participate regardless of where you are within,

outside of, beside, circling-- whatever the right terms to use re: the binary. You are all welcome here.

I mean it when I say bodyy love is for everybody. With that said we'll get into part four of volume two which features Roy.

Why'd you volunteer for projectBRAVE?

When I saw the pictures last year, I

just- I just saw people that I knew so it made me interested. It seemed really expressive

yea, if it was ongoing, I wanted to be a part of it. And then I saw the tweets so I was like "yea

definitely wanna do it now". (Off camera): How was the shoot?

I thought I'd be so that's okay. Yeah, you guys were cooperative

and was really funny, and I wasn't awkward at all. It's kind of nice.

What advice do you have for your younger self or your future children or (the) younger generation?

Ooh, alright, younger self, um...

Just keep smiling.

It's- it's, yea--

There's always something to smile about. Think about that. To my kids,

just remember everybody started out the same and you will end the same so don't quantify yourself or (try to) match yourself with anybody else because

Your road is yours.

[no dialogue; background instrumental music with soothing vocals plays out]

[dialogue cuts back in] On camera: How dat look?

The word I'm looking for is not "cool", it's "expressive". [Off camera]: One second. Hey, yes, especially you over there laughing

[off-camera, shouting] Hey!

Yea, especially you, over there laughing.

Sorry to cut you off. (Roy): Okay

DEEP FRIED CHINESE EGGPLANT W/ SPICY GARLIC SAUCE | Recipe by Mary's Test Kitchen - Duration: 6:14.

Hello friends and not-yet-friends!

Welcome back to Mary's Test Kitchen where we'll be making Chinese Deep Fried Eggplant

with spicy garlic sauce.

It's a rich restaurant-style dish; buttery on the inside, crispy on the outside, and

coated with intense flavours from fermented black bean, garlic, and spicy hot chilies.

But not too spicy, unless you want it to be.

This is your Chinese eggplant, and there are no rules.

Except, try to use Chinese eggplant.

This long kind rather than the big round Globe eggplants.

These have thinner skins, less bitter.

Only true for eggplants, not humans.

To prevent the eggplant from browning, submerge it in cold salted water right after cutting

it up.

The pieces will float so you can use a bowl or plate to weigh them down.

In another bowl, combine cornstarch with salt and white pepper.

Remember, the full recipe with exact amounts and directions is on marystestkitchen.com,

link in the description.

After draining the eggplant very well, you can toss them in.

Mix with your hands so every piece gets coated.

You should have all your other ingredients prepped before we go to the stove.

Crushed or minced garlic and garlic black bean sauce (which is made from fermented black

beans).

You'll need a little sugar and some soy sauce.

Also, vegetarian mushroom sauce.

It's made as a one-to-one substitute for oyster sauce and I think it tastes better than oyster

sauce actually.

Find it where Chinese groceries are sold or see the link I left in the description to

find it online.

Finally, you'll want chopped scallion and chopped fresh hot chilies.

Use more or less depending on your spice tolerance.--

First, we'll fry the eggplant.

Get a few inches of oil in a heavy bottomed pot up to 365°F. Use a thermometer for best

results, but I've showed you the ol bubbly chopstick technique before.

If lots of bubbles stream from the chopstick when you stick it in, it's hot enough.

Then fry the eggplant in small batches so the temperature doesn't drop too much.

Oil that isn't hot enough will drench into your eggplant and make it soggy rather than

what we want: soft on the inside, crispy on the outside.

About 2 or 3 minutes per batch will do it; just until the outside is just slightly turning

color.

If your eggplant browns faster than that, your oil is too hot.

And drain them on paper towels to get that excess oil.

Never ever handle a camera while deep-frying manually.

That is, never ever ever do what I'm doing.

It's dangerous and you'll overcook your eggplant; like I'm doing right now.

If you overcook the eggplant, it's not the end of the world but it won't be buttery on

the inside.

The inside will practically disappear and you'll have hollow pieces of eggplant.

Good thing we're doing this in batches.

If you don't want to deep-fry eggplant, well, you don't want to make this dish.

You can, however, steam the eggplant and use that instead for a dish with the same awesome

flavours, almost, but a completely different texture that's delicious in it's own right.

Or try my eggplant and lentil stir-fry.

Similar but also packed with protein.

But that's not what we're going for today.

Today is for indulgence, for comfort, for celebrations.

Once all your eggplant is fried, go on to another pan with a little oil over medium

high heat.

Add the garlic and garlic black bean sauce.

Stir-fry so it becomes fragrant but don't let it burn.

Then add scallions and red chilies; stir-fry about 30 seconds until the scallions turn

bright.

Add sugar, soy sauce, and vegetarian mushroom sauce.

Give the cornstarch slurry a mix, then add it to the pan as well.

Turn off the heat as the sauce thickens.

Lastly, add the fried eggplant to heat it through again.

Fold the sauce over everything gently with a spatula.

And you're pretty much done.

Garnish with scallions and cilantro if you like cilantro.

And this is perfect on plain steamed rice.

The eggplant is soft and creamy but still has crispy edges here and there for a wonderful

contrast.

And the sauce is spicy but not super spicy; salty with that delicous fermented black bean

flavour.

Not too bitter because the sugar balances it out.

I really hope you give this recipe a try and let me know what you think!

And let me know what other Chinese restaurant recipes you want to see.

Whether it's an traditional Chinese classic dish or not, I love veganizing recipes and

sharing them with you.

Please give this video a thumbs up if you liked it and share it on Twitter, Facebook,

Reddit or where ever you hang out online.

It really helps out this channel so I can bring you even more delicious vegan goodness.

And subscribe and hit the bell for notifications if you haven't already for new vegan recipes

and reviews, like the hot for food cookbook review that's coming up soon.

Thanks so much for watching, friends.

Bye for now!
