Hi, my name is Dorota Freitag. I'm from Kreatywnie.com.

Today I have for you a powertex angel.

You will need a paster head - this one is neutral. No hair, no gender.

You will also need aluminium foil and paper tape.

I cover the lower part of the head with the aluminium foil forming some kind of "mermaid".

The figure needs to be proportional and filled of aluminium foil.

This will be a sitting angel, so I have to form it stable before I cover it with paper tape.

Now I am covering the whole figure with the tape. The powertex medium sticks better to paper than to foil.

Now I am preparing the hands. Also from aluminium foil.

I am using the square and folding it to tight and flat piece.

Now I am forming the hands folding the foil.

The hands will be covered by the tape too.

This is my base for clothes.

I need a white T-shirt.

I am cutting out the sleeves, two square pieces for blouse, a skirt and a hood.

To form the wings I need a wire.

It is very soft and allows to form anything very easy.

The wings will be made of paper decoration white. I am cutting out two long "tear" shaped pieces.

Now is the time for powertex. I is the grey one.

I put some water at the head.

Now I am covering the head with powertex.

It is better to let it dry.

Every single piece of material will be soaked with powertex very carefully.

I place the squares across. I am covering the wire for wings.

The skirt will be folded.

I need also the hood, because my figure doesn't have the hair.

The wings can be put in the powertex, but I am covering them by brush.

I am sticking them on the wire and forming the wings.

After the figure is dry I can start to put the colours.

This is mineral paint Fleur. Istanbul Interior, Cape Town Blue and Titanium White.

White gives some light at the end. It makes the figure bright.

I am using "dry brush" technique.

The angel will be sitting on my shelf and be watching if I make new movies :)

高雄市長陳菊近日出版 新書,

爆出許多從政之路的秘 辛,

甚至提及當年初戰高市 長選舉時,

與民進黨立委管碧玲競 爭黨內初選的情形,

種種回憶被外界認為是 為了影響2018高 雄市長選舉的民進黨 黨內初選,

引發黨內紛爭。

對此,

民進黨秘書長洪耀福表 示,

爭議行銷也是一種促銷 書的辦法,

且自己寫總比以後被別 人寫好,

自己寫才有主觀性。

陳菊的新書中提到,

她當年初戰高市長選舉 時,

時任總統陳水扁屬意由 代理市長陳其邁選市 長,

時任行政院長謝長廷也 不放棄在高雄市所奠 定的基礎,

力挺葉菊蘭出馬角逐。

不過,

在她民調贏過葉菊蘭時 ,

謝長廷改推管碧玲出來 競爭,

管碧玲還公開宣稱「初 選要贏過陳菊,

再讓給葉菊蘭選市長。

此外,

陳菊還提到,

2005年8月發生高 雄捷運泰勞暴動事件 ,

身為勞委會主委的陳菊 向謝長廷提出,

若需保護內閣,

她可辭職以示負責,

但謝長廷當時回答,

「沒有這個問題。

」後來案情越燒越大,

陳菊親送辭呈到行政院 ,

謝長廷不在,

辭呈交給時任秘書長的 李應元。

書中表示,

一般來說,

院長接到閣員辭呈會先 約詢,

但陳菊沒收到任何訊息 ,

卻在第3天從電子媒體 跑馬燈上看到「陳菊 請辭」訊息。

因此,

陳菊認為,

「江湖我們也是跑很久 ,

當然看得出來有人放話 。

」不過,

也因媒體曝光讓她沒有 轉圜空間,

只好開記者會宣布辭職 ,

之後就由李應元接任主 委。

不過,

書中內容卻引起管碧玲 反彈,

直言「12年無法撫平 傷痛,

怒火中張冠李戴,

菊姐要再劃幾刀?就請 發洩吧!菊姐的發洩 ,

高雄的痊癒,

我願意承擔。

」李應元也針對當年的 事回應,

「我不需要找工作」,

請花媽「完全可以放下 。

陳菊的新書內容,

不僅揭露多年前選舉恩 怨,

更讓外界認為已經引起 民進黨內紛爭。

對此,

洪耀福表示,

「這是好事情」,

每個人在這種大時代中 ,

各自有不同角度、視野 ,

大家若能都把自己的經 歷、情感做成文字敘 述,

可以拼湊出大時代的歷 史情境與氛圍。

洪耀福指出,

爭議行銷也是一種促銷 書的辦法。

自己寫總比以後被別人 寫好,

別人怎麼寫也不一定,

自己寫才有主觀性。

他也表示,

雖然不理解陳菊出書的 時機點,

但給予尊重,

並強調民進黨本來就是 多元的政黨,

容許不同意見、觀點。

「大家都見過大風大浪 ,

這種小事就有裂痕,

哪有這麼脆弱? 軍 改內容絕不被動搖?  陳建仁出面喊話! 副總統陳建仁今下 午出席「台灣聯合國 協進會會員大會」時 ,

對於年金改革,

他說,

公教人員年金改革方面 ,

去年已完成修法,

今年7月即將正式實施 ;軍人年金改革在經 過多方面的溝通後,

法案也即將送到立法院 審查,

也許改革過程中難免有 紛擾,

而改革的進程也不如原 先期待,

但絕不會動搖政府推動 年金改革的決心。

陳建仁也表示,

蔡英文總統與所有行政 團隊未來將繼續推動 各項改革,

「絕對不會讓各位失望 」。

然而,

改革將會面對很多挑戰 ,

過程也一定會很辛苦,

但只要大家堅定支持改 革,

作政府的後盾,

政府定會勇敢面對、堅 持到底。

陳建仁強調,

蔡總統所帶領的執政團 隊一直積極推動改革 ,

就是希望可以打造更理 想的制度,

讓國家一步一步走向更 美好的未來。

在推動改革的過程中,

執政團隊可能有做得不 夠周全、不夠快的地 方,

一定會虛心檢討,

來回應台灣多數民意的 期待。

陳建仁認為,

在蔡總統的領導之下,

只要相互扶持,

堅定走下去,

相信更自由、更民主、 更和平、更公義的台 灣就在眼前。

他說,

展望未來,

他也期盼大家和政府作 夥打拚,

推動改革,

積極參與更多的國際組 織與國際活動,

讓台灣真正成為人類大 家庭的一份子,

讓2300萬台灣人都 能成為對國家、社會 、全球有貢獻的世界 公民。

今日下午與民進黨外交 國防、司法法制委員 會委員討論軍人年金 改革內容。

民進黨立委蔡適應會後 受訪指出,

「樓地板」的討論結果 確定3萬8990元 ,

為顧及校級軍官,

且副總統邀退役將級軍 官談論關於軍人年改 的問題,

大多也獲得支持,

並持續朝募兵制方向推 動。

蔡適應表示,

會議有三個重點,

主要關於樓地板、起資 俸率計算與殘障津貼 ,

其退役軍人的殘障津貼 比照公教的做法,

與勞保和公教保險相同 ;而樓地板的設計是 基於軍人年金的特殊 性,

與公教有所不同,

最後確認以38990 元為共識,

國防部與退輔會也共同 支持;至於退休金的 計算,

原先國防部和年金改革 委員會的版本是服務 滿20年、50%起 資、每年2.

5%計算,

但在過程中每個委員有 不同看法。

蔡適應說,

起資俸率的計算有委員 認為與公教差太多,

這樣計算基準重點在於 軍人強迫退休的特殊 性,

至於起資是50+2.

5%還是其他數字,

在場委員各自提出不同 版本,

最後並未達成共識,

副總統陳建仁也請行政 院政務委員林萬億重 新計算個不同版本。

至於公教有天花板 的限制,

那軍人是否也要設定,

蔡適應說,

各委員都認為有其必要 性,

只是有百分之多少,

副總統並為做決定,

提出不同看法後,

由林萬億再進行精算評 估。

副總統約退役將級 軍官談年金改革大多 支持。

蔡適應表示,

Meghan Markle Switches From Her Beach Chic Attire to an Elegant Navy Dress for Girls School Visit - Duration: 4:30.

 Meghan Markle has switched into her second look of the day in Sydney!  After kicking off the fourth day of her and Prince Harry's royal tour with a visit to the world famous Bondi Beach Friday local time, the pair headed to Macarthur Girls High School to meet with students about social justice and youth empowerment

 To match the occasion, Meghan, 37, switched out of her beach chic look from earlier — which included a striped Martin Grant maxi dress and Castañer espadrilles — and opted for more formal attire

 Wearing a navy and periwinkle Athena Pleated Midi Dress by British Designer Roksanda Ilinčić, with a pair of suede beige pumps by Stuart Weitzman, Meghan looked effortlessly elegant for her visit with the students

 The royal's hair was also styled in a classy half-up ponytail.  Harry, 34, also made a quick change for the event, switching from an earlier blue button-down and khakis to a more formal blue plaid shirt (to match his wife) with a black jacket

 Meghan has been gravitating towards navy dresses recently.  During yesterday's first appearance at the grounds of the Royal Botanic Gardens, the former Suits star wore a navy dress by Australian designer Dion Lee and matching Manolo suede heels

She also wore the same color dress to Princess Eugenie's royal wedding last week

 Throughout her visit, Meghan has shown off just how resourceful she can be while packing, after re-wearing her Martin Grant trench coat during the first few events of the trip

 Earlier on Friday, Meghan and Harry took a trip to Bondi Beach, where they were greeted by Grant Trebilco and Sam Schumacher, founders of OneWave

 The colorfully dressed local surfing community group spoke to the royals about their dedication to raising awareness for mental health and well-being in an engaging way, before offering them leis to spice up their own beach chic outfits

 They took part in the "Fluro Friday" session, where people of all ages share their experiences of mental health issues, in an "anti-bad vibe circle

"  The couple also had the opportunity to interact with others enjoying yoga, a favorite activity of Meghan's, and surfing — and Harry even helped wax a surfboard!  While there, Meghan also opened up about her pregnancy to local Charlotte Connell — who is also expecting — and explained that her little one was already keeping her up at night

 "Meghan told me that pregnancy was like having jet lag," Connell said, as reported by Sky News

"She said she was up at 4:30 a.m. this morning doing yoga in her room as she couldn't sleep

"  The royal couple also interacted with fans during a public meet and greet at South Bondi Beach

 They were showered with flowers as well as stuffed animals, including an oversized teddy bear, for their baby

But there was also a unique offering for the pair: a bundle of carrots!  Next up for the pair is an outing at the Sydney Harbour Bridge

Harry will climb the bridge alongside the Prime Minister of Australia to raise the celebratory Invictus Flag, which is symbolic to the arrival of the games to Sydney

   Meanwhile, Meghan, who is a little over 12 weeks pregnant, will support her husband from afar

How to Stack Jewelry w/ The Peach Box | JULIA SUH - Duration: 6:19.

Today I've partnered up with

How to stack jewelry

That has a lot of

And all of the pieces are

When I was browsing

The styles online

I automatically thought

That all of the pieces

Were stackable

Of course you can still wear

Everything by itself

And it'll still look great

But if you kind of

Wanted to add something extra

To your outfit

Then stacking jewelry

Is a great way to do so

What's great about jewelry is

You can have a super simple outfit

And as soon as you add on jewelry to it

It kind of enhances the outfit

And is a great way

To show your personal style

So in this video

I'm going to show you guys

What I picked out

And also kind of walk you through

The process of

What to think about

And what to look for

When buying jewelry

To create a stackable look

So all the jewelry comes in this

Really nice matte black box

It says "The Peach Box"

On the front

And then inside

It comes with a microfiber pouch

And then the item inside

So this first item is the

Pearl Embrace Bangle in rose gold

This one is really nice

It's very dainty and minimal

It has these like

Pearl accents at the edges here

And my wrist is pretty small

But it slides on

And it's actually like

Not too big

Where it doesn't slide all the way off

So it's a nice fit

So when shopping for stackable jewelry

You'll want to first

Pick out your color tone

That you want to stick with

In this case

I picked rose gold

I usually stick with

Just gold pieces

But I kind of wanted to go

A little bit more girlier

And the rose gold pieces

Really stood out to me

Especially on the website

They were just like really beautiful

And I wanted to

Play around with this color

The next two bangles I got are

The Roman Empress Bangles

This one is the regular size one

And this one is the skinny one

And after I pick out my color tone

I then look for

Similar but different pieces

That will go well together

So in this case

This one is smaller than this one

So it kind of gives it a little

Bit of a contrast

And then adding in this

Pearl bangle here as well

It'll kind of break it up

And make it a little bit different

So it can stack well together

You'll want to pick out pieces

That have different details

To create that texture and contrast

At the same time compliment each other

So with these bracelets

You can kind of just like

Mix and match it and see

Which order will look best

I'm thinking

To break up the skinny Roman

And the regular Roman bangle

I would put the pearl one in the middle

So it kind of creates that difference

And for the Roman Empress Bracelets

It's kind of difficult to figure out

How to open it

But what you do is

You just press it down here

To kind of unlatch it

And then it'll open up like that

I styled these bracelets with

An easy go-to outfit of

Jeans and a white t-shirt

Because the shirt is short sleeved

And arms are exposed

The jewelry really pops in the look

And for colder days

As Fall is approaching

Another way to wear stacked bracelets

Is overtop the sleeve of a

Long sleeve top or sweater

I think this is a great way

To show your jewelry

When you're still trying to

Stay warm and covered up

For necklaces

Layering thin delicate pieces

That have interesting details

Is a great way to stack necklaces

Without going too overboard

You don't really want to stack

Bulky necklaces on top of each other

Because then it could look really messy

So if you want a clean minimal look

Then thin necklaces is the way to go

So I picked up two choker necklaces

This one is the Dainty Dot Necklace

And this one is the Dainty Triangle Necklace

And they're both very minimal and thin

I love how small and thin the chain is

And they're pretty much the same necklace

Just the difference is the charms

And I think it's just a great way to

Create a minimal stackable look

And since they are chokers

I think it'll look really cute on

And if you wanted to layer on more necklaces

You can definitely do like

Longer necklaces like medium length and long

Just make sure

If you are styling

Longer length necklaces

To kind of fill the empty space

With a medium length necklace

So there's not open space leftover

These necklaces pretty much go with everything

They're great for every day wear

I love wearing gold chains and necklaces

On a daily basis

So I'm really excited to wear

These necklaces this season

Finally for earrings

Obviously this only works

If you have multiple piercings on your ears

I personally have

Two piercings on both my ears

So I'm able to stack earrings together

An easy way to do this

Is to pick out a really simple earring

And a statement earring to pair together

So from The Peach Box

I got these very classic Pearl Stud Earrings

These ones are plated in 18K rose gold

And then for my statement earring

I got the Pearl Pendulum Earring in Gold

And I know rose gold and gold

Don't really go together

But in this case

You can't really see the rose gold

When it's in your ear

For the Pearl Earrings

So I thought it was still okay

But I really love these Pendulum Earrings

They're just super unique

And very minimal and dainty

But because they both have the

Pearl stud detail on it

That's how they kind of go well together

So I think it'll be really cute on the ear

These ones are a bit more dressier

So I think that

A more dressier outfit

Would look good with these

They're not really meant for everyday wear

But they're still really cute

So we wanted to upgrade the CRM tool

to make it even more efficient,

even more available,

even more accessible

enabling teams, no matter where they are,

even when out of the office,

to access their messages at any time

and all information about a given client.

We chose Microsoft Dynamics

because it was the only solution

able to send emails in an integrated way,

able to send documents in a dematerialised way,

and compatible with smartphones and tablets.

We worked with Hitachi Solutions in various steps.

First through workshops, when they visited us

to understand our needs and business.

Next, they developed the solution.

We tested it.

Next, we trained the sales team

and then the roll-out phase.

and quickly learned the tool.

The team is excited about using this tool,

which saves them time,

boosts accessibility,

and improves their ability to ensure their sales

The Polar Code for 5G Communication - Duration: 15:03.

Telecommunication technology today

is playing an increasingly important role in the whole industry,

especially the coming generation of cellular mobile communication: 5g

It will boost up many other domains.

such as truly immersive AR and VR applications

Automated driving vehicles

ultimately the tactile internet for 5g communication.

so, in order to achieve

one aspect that of 5g communication

: the enhanced mobile broadband communication service

the polar code has been chosen as channel coding algorithm for the control channel

by the 3GPP conference.

The main purpose of our project is to explore and

inspect the properties and performance of the polar code.

Furthermore grab a perspective of the channel coding algorithm

In our system a code construction an encoder

and adecoder algorithms were desinged on Matlab.

for the code construction algorithm

It is just combining the binary tree and the Bhattacharyya bounds of

AWGN channel. As for the encoder it is mainly based on the Kronecker product

As for decoder the SCD algorithm was used

since it is the most fundamental

and important decoding method of polar codes which achieves very decent

time complexity of nearly N*log(N) it can be separated into two parts one is log

likelihood calculation the other one is bit broadcasting.

they are interacting with each other, the decoding root bits are actually what we want.

you will be demonstrated as following

After completing the polar code program

we found that the channel performance will be affected by

varying the code rate, code length and design SNR.

The longer code length or smaller code rate will result in the better

performance and the best design SNR was found to be zero in our project

we would like to give an overview of the significant contribution.

Firstly, we simulated and evaluated the polar code for the AWGN channel.

Then we implemented and evaluated the code construction algorithm

using the Bhattacharyya parameters

After that we implemented the channel encoder using the Kronecker product.

Moreover we derived a logarithmic likelihood ratio by channel observation

Then, we implemented the successive cancellation algorithm into decoding procedure.

Next we evaluated the Polar code performance in terms of different design SNR

Then we evaluated the polar code performance in terms of different code rate code length.

Lastly we reconstructed a noisy image by implementing the polar code.

Lets start with the code construction

Firstly,here are two bits channel specifically

the binary erasable channel with an erasure probability e.

Then we combine them using mode two operation

This can be seen in the lower figure.

Therefore at the decoder side

The received bits are supposed to be exactly X1, X2.

However due to the property of BEC

there is probability e that the transmitted information will be erased

therefore there are four possible situations as a decoder side for y 1 y 2

These are the four situations.

The question mark means the information is erased already.

In order to derive the polarization outcome

one of the important properties of successive cancellation decoding algorithm is used here

: the outputs of these two channel are (y1, y2) and( y1, y2, u 1) which means that

the extra information u1 is needed to decode y2.

It can be noticed that only in s4 where the knowledge about

(u1 +u2) mod 2 and u 2 is known simultaneously

in other words, neither X1 nor X2 are not erased the Y1 can be decoded correctly.

Consequently, the probability of the error occurring in the upper channel is E1 equals to 2*e-e^2.

However due to a piece of extra information is added to decode Y 2

there are 2 more situations where Y2 can be decoded successfully.

These are the three situations

Consequently, the error probability of the lower channel is E2 which is e^2.

It can be proven that the E1 is always larger than E2

given that the error probability e is a number within range from 0 to 1

with performing this operation recursively the better channel becomes

better marked by more '+' sign, the worse channel even becomes worse marked by more '-' sign.

Consequently a portion of the channel

will become nearly completely noisy while some other channels become nearly

noseless which exactly clarifies some Matthew effect in communication aspect.

The channel evolution can be summarized as a binary tree the initial value is a

Bhattacharyya bounds of a AWGN channel. We stop the iterative

process until the last stage hold N values which is the code length. Then we select

out the leaves holding K least values and it is the number of information bits.

After that we output the indices of these leaves, the rest indices are the

frozen bits indices. These 3 figure illustrates the channel capacity

when thestage equals 3, 6, 11, corresponding to the theory before more channels are polarized

with increasing the code length , Consequently the Shannon capacity will be achieved

when the code length equals infinity

Let's move on to the encoder now. The polar coder is parameterized the by

the code length: N, the information bits length: K, and the indices of information bits: I

Once we have known them, a transmitted vector can be formed

in this vector the information bits are stored in the leaves which holds the K least values,

the complementary indices are frozen bits indices, this is corresponding to the code construction

Since the polar code is one type of linear block code

a generator matrix is needed.

In order to describe the operation in the

butterfly diagram.

The Kronecker product is used to generate a generator matrix

Once we have it,

the code word is generated by multiplying the transmitted

vector and the generator matrix,

this slide gives an example for the code length equals to 8.

The butterfly diagram is a basic unit of decoding algorithm

the u 1, u 2 y 1, y 2 are the bits and L1 L2 function f and g are likelihood ratios

the bits are determined by likelihood ratios,

here is a formula for function G and F.

The proof process of this formula are demonstrated on Arikan's paper and

our final report.

So it is very reliable

the time complexity for decoding is N

times( Log(N)+1), since there is N binary tree and each binary has

(logN)+1 layers.

The channel observations are given here

likelihood ratio can be derived by channel observation,

here is a result

bits and likelihood ratios

they are set as negative 1 as initial value.

The right most likelihood ratios are based on channel observation

which is given

and the frozen bit are picked because of the lowest channel capacity that has stated previously

they are forced to be 0 and initial and both decoder and encoder would notice

then the index 0 can be calculated recursively by using function f

after root likelihood ratio is calculated here the bit can be decided

if likelihood ratio is larger than 1 then the bit is 0, otherwise the bit is 1

then the likelihood ratio of index 4 can be decided by function G

when u1 here equals to 0, G equals to L 1 times L2,

when u 1 equals to 1, G equals to L 2 divided by L1

Then u 1 and u 2 can be broadcasted right towards together.

Once bits reached

a layer here the process stopped because the layer branch bits have not decided

so the G function would be a applied here

since the bit is known upper branch

then using these two likelihood ratios,

likelihood ratio of index 2 can be calculated

using function f,

then it bit can be decided

same procedure can be implemented as the following

function G can be applied here determine the bits

broadcasting tell the upper branch

One trick made in our program is we assign the search order as bit reverse sequence

It needs to be noticed that the B reverse permutation in our case that not

rearranged our original bid order

it just changed the searching sequence of decoder

in order to improve the searching efficiency

so the encoder does not need to do anything with it

finally all bits are decided

the bits at the leftmost here are the decoded bits.

The yellow frame indicated that

there are some conflict between likelihood ratio and real bits

because of the existence of frozen bits

And when longer code length is implemented

log likelihood ratio always performs better than likelihood ratio.

It should be noticed that

During the whole decoding process the bit decision can only happen the root index here,

because the root index get all information from the nodes

which would result in better bit prediction than other nodes

this is also one reason why longer code length has better performance which is a beauty of polar codes

it is time to evaluate the performance after converting all the

theory and knowledge about polar code into MATLAB coding,

as we can see here

we dynamically changing design SNR, in the end we obtain the decent bit error rate

which is up to 10 to the power minus 4 after that due to the

non-universality of polar code

the different polar code are generated by the

different design SNR.

In this section we are committed to select out of the

best design SNR for the code length equals 1024 and 2048.

The results shows that the best design SNR is around 0 dB for both cases

these two graphs illustrate the influence of code on channel performance.

So smaller code rate has best performance in testing samples.

It is reasonable since the redundancy in the polar code is assigned to be frozen bits .

Fixed values won't be wrongly decoded.

Besides they would affect and

correct the decoding procedure comparing to the last redundancy situation.

As we stated previously longer code length has better performance because of the channel polarization.

Furthermore in the bad channel condition the performance of all

code length tend to have the same value, at 0.5 dB when R equals to 0.1.

1.5 dB when R equals to 0.5.

After these points

the trend of the performance of the code length versus SNR is becoming more obvious

In the end we would like to thank our supervisor Dr. Yi Hong for giving us an opportunity to complete

in terms of future work we have more students and put efforts on implementing

different code construction such as Monte Carlo and more complex decoding algorithms

such as BP and folded SCD to explore more properties of polar codes.
