Hi, I'm Dorota Freitag from Kreatywnie.com.

Today I have for you an angel and decorative painting technique.

This angel is cut of HDF board and has visible lines.

This lines are creating shapes to colour.

I start to fill this lines with wood primer using the brush.

I am testing by the way the fleur primer.

I have to say that it meets my expectations.

I can describe it as "friable", full of white minerals, which give a very good adhesion.

I painted the surface three times using a role.

Now I am preparing a structure for the hair. I am using a white mixmedia paste.

When the structure is drying I am preparing the wings. I am using silicone mould and white clay.

So I am preparing a lot of feathers to create the wings.

The mould is quite soft, so I can remove the feathers and place them on wings.

Every feather has to be fixed with the hobby glue.

I let it dry over night.

On the next day I am starting colouring.

This is the part of the project similar to colouring book. Very nice and relaxing.

If the colour has to be bright I am using the water and I am blending the paint.

Look at the brush - it is oblique. This shape allows to make the shadowing.

I made the skin colour of the banana colour and elegant rose.

Now I am painting the wings. I am adding water to the paint to be sure, that every feather is covered.

The paint should pour in every whole.

While I was doing it, I thought that I could paint the wings before I glued feathers.

The next colour I am putting with the sponge. It is cape town blue (Fleur).

The colour is not covering every part of feathers. Just a little.

Now I will give a little patina with dark brown and water.

It gives the wings more dimensional effect.

Now I am using the last colour - metallic gold - Lingotto (Fleur).

It has to be shaked very well.

I am using "dry brush".

Now I am colouring the hair.

It have to be done very precisely.

Now I am colouring the cloth.

The firs layer always looks terrible.

This is natural. The next layer will be better and covering.

Now I will decorate the underskirt with the crackle stamp.

For some lines I will use a special brush. It is cut in the way to make thin lines.

This are all elements you can create additionally. Use stamps, stencils, it is up to you.

Don't forget the face. I am adding the cheeks with some rose colour.

To make the hair more visible I am using the sand paper.

I am finishing the angel with the clear wax.

You can also use the varnish. As you like.

I want to say that I used a lot of colours.

But it was so much fun.

Too Much Noise

One day, Sringeri Srinivas

set out for the cattle fair

with his best cows.

They had to go

on the new national highway.

The cars and trucks

had very loud horns.

Paoon! Ponn! Pa!

The cows did not like

the noise at all.

They forced Sringeri Srinivas

to take them back home.

But the noise

stayed inside

Sringeri Srinivas's head

and came back home

with him.

Even the sounds

that Sringeri Srinivas heard daily

suddenly became too loud for him.

The frogs, the koels,

the cows, the tiger.

Why were they so noisy?

Poor Sringeri Srinivas.

He only wanted silence.

He shouted at the children

if they talked loudly.

Everyone tried to help.

The children played cricket quietly.

The cows did not moo any more.

Yet Sringeri Srinivas was not happy.

"I will go away

from this noisy place,"

he declared one morning.

He walked away from his village

and reached a new town,

which was even noisier.

He met a young man

wearing headphones,

who seemed very happy,

in spite of all the honking.

"Aha, this is just what I need,"

he said.

He bought a big pair of headphones.

No more noise!

Now, when Sringeri Srinivas

gets very angry at the cars or the frogs,

he just puts on his headphones

and listens to some quiet music.

But he still

has to take his cows

to the cattle fair

along the noisy highway.

Maybe his cows

need headphones too!

Sringeri Srinivas was having

a very bad day.

Nobody wanted the sweet, ripe

bananas he was growing on his farm.

Not his family.

Not his neighbour.

Not his friends.

Not the traders

who could sell the bananas

in far away markets.

And not even his cows!

"No, thank you,"

they all said.

"The bananas are very sweet

but we have had too many.

We cannot eat any more!"

Poor Sringeri Srinivas!

What was he to do now

with his rich harvest

of bananas?

He decided

to seek help

from the Farmer's Centre in Doddooru,

a big town near his village.

Off he went

carrying the best crop of bananas.

Surely someone there

would have a good idea

for him.

A few days later,

Sringeri Srinivas

returned home

looking very happy.

He went back

to growing bananas

on his farm.

But he did not offer the fruits

to anyone anymore.

Not to his family.

Not to his neighbour.

Not to his friends.

Not to the traders

who could sell the bananas

in far away markets.

And not even to his cows!

Everyone became very curious.

Where were all the bananas going?

One day,

neighbour Shivanna

arranged a very big pooja.

The priest asked him

to get 108 ripe bananas

as an offering to the gods.

Shivanna ran to Sringeri Srinivas.

"I'm sorry

for saying no to you before

but now I need

108 ripe bananas.

Can you help me, please?"

Sringeri Srinivas

tapped his chin.

"Well, my crop has just been cut

but let me see

what I can do.

You may start your pooja.

I will surely come."

The pooja started.

The whole village

came to watch.

The priest began chanting.

it became time to offer bananas

to the gods.

Just then,

in came Sringeri Srinivas

carrying a big bag.

From the bag,

he carefully took out 27 packets

and laid them out before the holy fire.

Each packet

was carefully wrapped in banana leaf.

On each one was written –

"High Quality Banana Halwa, S.S. Farms."

Sringeri Srinivas

offered one to the priest.

"Each one has

the pulp of 4 bananas.

There are 27 packets.

So here are your

108 ripe bananas!"

The priest was so surprised

that he forgot to chant.

In the silence,

one child began to laugh.

Soon the whole village

was laughing and clapping.

Now we know

what Sringeri Srinivas does

with all the bananas

that he grows!

We'll probably never know the truth between Kavanaugh and his accuser - Duration: 4:30.

I believe something happened to Christine Blasey Ford more than three decades ago. Six

years before Brett Kavanaugh was a nominee for the Supreme Court, Ford related the story

of an encounter with him to her therapist, which would have required an implausible prescience

if her sexual-assault allegation is, as I've seen some conservatives argue, all

part of an elaborate scheme. And yet, I believe Kavanaugh may also be sincere

when he denies the incident. Which is to say that both he and Ford may think they're

telling the truth. How those individual truths bear on actual events is a more complicated

question. We may never know the answer. It's a cliché that memory is fallible,

but in recent years, thanks to researchers such as Elizabeth Loftus, just how fallible

it is has become clear. People can sincerely forget things you'd think they would remember,

or they remember details or even whole events they couldn't possibly have experienced.

Loftus herself describes inadvertently confabulating a vivid memory of finding her mother dead

in the family's swimming pool when she was 14. Her mother did die in the pool, but Loftus

wasn't there when the body was discovered. It is probable that at least some of the details

of Ford's story are wrong, even if the bones are quite true — and horrifying. And it's

equally possible Kavanaugh doesn't remember it, either because she has misidentified him,

or because he was blackout drunk, or because he saw the same events as more benign than

Ford did, and his mind saw no reason to file that memory away.

Which complicates the eminently sensible idea of delaying confirmation pending a full hearing.

A delay would give other potential victims time to come forward and establish a pattern

of behavior that could resolve lingering doubts, which is among the reasons for holding a hearing.

But what if no one comes forward? We'd like to think we could detect who's lying in

a hearing by watching Kavanaugh and Ford testify. Only at this point, it seems possible that

neither will be deliberately lying — and that no one else will be able to corroborate

or disprove such a vague story. Contra conservatives, the vagueness of Ford's

story isn't proof that it didn't happen. If anything, the reverse: Liars tend to provide

an excessive wealth of detail. But the lack of detail does make it essentially impossible

for Kavanaugh to defend himself. "Prove you weren't at a house party somewhere in

Montgomery County between the years 1979 and 1982" would set a new high for nomination

standards. A version of that standard would be applied again and again if this story,

by itself, scuttles his nomination. One way out of the dilemma is to say that

whatever happened that night, a Supreme Court nomination shouldn't be derailed by a teenage

boy's behavior some 35 years ago. This argument has real merit, not because sexual assault

is all right if you're 17, but because people do change, and a decent society recognizes

that. In the case of minors, whose brains aren't

fully formed, I especially believe in radical forgiveness and redemption. Yes, even for

terrible crimes — forgiving crimes "except the really bad ones" isn't forgiveness.

If you truly believe, as I do, that no one's character should be summed up by the worst

thing they ever did, then people who have atoned and lived honorably for decades should

be readmitted to society in full good standing — including admission to the highest court

of the land. And yet, if Kavanaugh did what he stands accused

of, he hasn't paid his debt. That insults both the suffering of his victim and the majesty

of the law. And if he has truly forgotten doing a terrible thing, he's no longer even

capable of forming the sincere repentance necessary for redemption.

Moreover, my views on criminal justice are a micro-minority position, and the democratic

legitimacy of this appointment matters. Installing Kavanaugh with the allegations unresolved

would further corrode an already tattered civic fabric.

Unfortunately, with the midterms almost upon us, there's no path to an outcome that both

sides see as legitimate. Democrats can insist that the revelation of Ford's story was

not exquisitely timed to exactly the moment when it became impossible to confirm a different

nominee before the elections. But they are in essentially the same position as Kavanaugh:

Even if they are telling the truth, they have no way to provide convincing proof.

Which leaves us, at this point, with only one clear truth. Absent a lightning bolt from

the evidence gods, America is going to be stuck with partial and unsatisfying answers

to unresolvable questions.

corroboration of the allegations of sexual misconduct leveled against the federal judge,

The Wall Street Journal reported, citing sources.

The Journal pointed out that the FBI report may do little to provide clarity and essentially

leave senators in the same position as last week: two witnesses giving different accounts

on what occurred.

has still not received the FBI's report on Kavanaugh.

Senators will be able to view the report in a secure area off the Senate subway.

Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, and committee member Sen. Dianne Feinstein,

D-Calif., would be given the first chance to look at the report.

The FBI letter will next be sent to all 100 U.S. Senators, but won't be made public.

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) has filed cloture, setting a date for the

Kavanaugh confirmation vote.

BREAKING: Confirmation vote on Judge Kavanaugh will be on Saturday.

McConnell is filing cloture NOW on the Kavanaugh nomination.
