Youtube daily report Oct 7 2018

Hey guys, I'm here with Abby P.

She's also a youtuber in South Korea.

She looks Korean but she's actually not Korean.

So Abby, tell them about yourself.

Hi

I'm Abby P

I have a YouTube channel as well where I post very similar videos as Vicky does like language,

Korean culture

dance covers

So I'm gonna start doing dance covers like Vicky as well.

so, um, I'm actually Filipino American, not Korean.

I was born in the Philippines and

moved to the US.

Yeah, I grew up in the US and then I moved to Korea.

At what age did you move to the US?

Three years old. I lived there all my life.

And then I moved to Korea in 2015.

so I've been here almost four years.

And Abby speaks a bit of..

no not bit of, quite fluently, Korean.

She speaks multiple languages.

German, Japanese, Filipino (tagalog) and Spanish as well

So she's multilingual.

Yeah

She's awesome, guys. Check her out.

So what we're going to do today is to talk about Kpop. So Abby's really into Kpop,

specifically BTS

And she has also

auditioned for K-pop Star Season 1, which is really interesting. So tell them about that experience.

How was it?

I think maybe it was back five years ago, six years ago. I was very into kpop

That was like the peak of my kpop interest back then so I was really interested.

So that was before you started teaching in Korea.

I mean, I still have an interest in it, but as I get older, I feel like

you know my interest sort of shifted but back in the day when I was very interested in Kpop,

I wanted to like even be a kpop star as well.

Because I was also very interested in like singing and dancing.

So I auditioned for like SM, JYP and the best audition experience

I had was, the SBS right, a Kpop Star first season audition.

And it was really exciting very nerve-wracking but the best part of it was I got to see Boa.

The best, the queen of Kpop. I saw her.

She was beautiful. She was very serious. Because she was the judge. I was quite surprised actually.

Like wow she feels so cold.

But that was part of the job.

And basically I did my audition but I remember being so nervous that it probably

didn't allow me to do as well as I wanted to and so basically after the audition was finished,

it was finished very quickly

I sang I danced and then at that time I didn't understand Korean as much but she said something in Korean to the other judges

And then they translated it basically saying thank you for your audition

Let's suppose you, you know, you passed like the whole round and you actually

became a trainee for the entertainment company.

Do you think that would have made your life much happier than where you're at now?

That's a very good question because I remember at that time like all I wanted was to break out into the industry

But I feel like things happen for a reason and

I think if I did become a trainee

I would have to undergo a lot of like intensive training and be very

monitored by the company and I hear so many stories about like

trainees and k-pop idols having very difficult lives because of them

being managed, micromanaged. Every little detail about their life, not being able to express themselves fully.

So I know like I I would not be completely happy that way.

So I think yeah everything happens for a reason

I'm happy with where I am.

It was a good experience though. The whole audition process was definitely what I'm thankful for.

I think K pop's really cool and you know there many catchy songs and there are many talented individuals

but it's barely an art.

It's not an art. Yes, it's business and it's not even a culture.

That's another reason why I started to kind of turn away from kpop, because at first I was very interested

It's so like, it catches you right away. It mesmerizes you.

The visuals, the choreography,

music videos are like number one Kpop genre.

But then as I dig deeper into it it's very

manufactured. And so I think for me like because I

grew up loving art. My major in college was art.

So I feel like as an artist that's very true to the philosophy and

just the concept of art and expressing yourself genuinely and truly,

the whole manufactured kpop idol business didn't really fit well with me.

So that's why I started to kind of move away from it.

So now you just enjoy listening to Kpop.

Now I just enjoy BTS.

Are there any other kpop idols that you are fond of?

I do like black pink.

Oh, me too.

I like Lisa.

Me too! She's my favorite.

I don't know. I'm straight.

I'm completely straight.

but

ever since I was young I was like obsessed with girl groups and then when I was in middle school

my, now they call it bias, but I was just a fan, a big fan of Wonder Girls.

Yeah, they're like one of the first pioneers.

Yes and I used to like them very much but now they are separated.

Which member was your bias?

I liked Sunmi.

I don't like her as much now because I'm not interested in her songs, her style of song.

Now my bias is Lisa.

Anyways, let's move on to Kpop.

So kpop is really huge now. The biggest it's ever been.

Yes, it's ever been. Everybody knows kpop. Everybody knows BTS. Why do you think that is?

Why do you think it's so huge?

Especially now.

It's actually interesting because I thought at the time when I was really into kpop like back in

2009-2010 I thought that's what kpop was like at the peak of its popularity.

But now I'm like now, it's really a global phenomenon.

Which is interesting because that that meant that kpop was actually growing even bigger than what I thought

it was back then. The reason for that is many things, one of which is like globalization like there's more access to

different cultures. Youtube videos, social media, you know internet.

So people have more access to other

cultures and can experience other genres of music and

Also kpop idols, especially BTS is I think a big reason might be just as so popular is because

they're so connected with their fans.

Through the internet, through apps they've got V-live,

and are able to show themselves behind the scenes,

BTS of BTS

And Twitter they're very active on Twitter

They don't have instagram accounts, do they?

Not official, but there are many fan accounts.

Right. I never knew why

That's true.

It'd be really big, like 20 million 30 million.

They don't have an instagram account.

They should make one.

I think all the surface as I said before kpop is very popular

kpop is popular because of the visuals like

when you see these idols on your computer and TV screen, they look

really good. Yeah, because the kpop companies they know how to study this. Yeah

It's a science and business. Yeah, they have to study to know what people will like right away.

It's strategy.

Catchy tunes,

captivating visuals music videos

fashion, style, they just look really cool. Yeah, so it makes people

see them and yeah, enjoy them and like them right away, and make their fan base grow bigger and bigger.

And that's what kind of connects to like Korean culture in general.

So Korea is I think the country that places the most importance on looks.

It's true.

So they know

what looks good in other people's eyes.

They say "Beauty is in the eyes of beholders," but I don't think that's quite true.

because there is like, I don't know

something that catches the eyes. It's psychology.

Yes there's big psychology behind Kpop.

and why it's popular.

Yeah, so they make a lot of money, but that doesn't really guarantee

Success or fame?

Yeah, and even if it does bring them success or fame, that doesn't guarantee

happiness?

Yeah, and their ability to express themselves.

Yes. And they're kind of lost.

They think they are whom other people say they are.

Yeah, so they're made into sort of a product of other people's opinions.

Yeah

And they're more likely to be vulnerable

and care about what they look, and the more they care about their look

the more beautiful they become and the more you know bad cycle, and it's very unhealthy.

I'm not trying to like

how do you say put it down? Yeah. We try to look at both sides. Yeah, it's important to look at two sides.

And probably that's you know, the exact reason why kpop stars need our support.

They are going through hard times,

So we shouldn't really bash them or hate them.

Yes and I don't understand fan wars.

That's very childish. Oh, yeah, they're all in the same industry trying to do the same thing

with their dreams and do their best work hard. Yeah, so if you like certain artists,

support them if you don't, just move on.

Yes, it's none of your business actually.

So moving on to I guess like more

serious questions.

Those were not serious questions?

More serious questions.

So what do you think are the positive influences that kpop is making?

I think a big one is

inviting more people

of other cultures to enjoy another culture different from theirs.

So now so many people because of kpop are learning about Korean culture the language

Just because of Kpop.

They think kpop is Korea, but as I said, Kpop is not a culture, it's business.

So don't really like have this fantasy about Korea that we all look like kpop stars,

Come to Korea and see for yourself.

Because the reality's not Kpop.

When people see kpop they see these

performers that are so hard-working

they look really good. And I think it makes people wanna like learn to dance and sing

Yeah celebrate like the arts more and that's really happy for me. Yeah, I've always loved like dancing singing performing

Yeah, so it's really opened these people and invites them to try, try to danceeven through kpop dance

So express yourself through your body, your music, and your heart.

I think that's what music does. It brings people together.

That's why music videos are the most viewed videos on YT.

And it's completely understandable.

It doesn't need any effort.

You just have to lay back and listen to the music and enjoy.

Even people that don't try to learn Korean they still feel connected.

Just with the music.

People from other parts of the world will feel the same way just through listening.

These days with like social media and you know YouTube platform and Internet becoming really big

I think it's quite an important for individuals to build

their following, their audience not necessarily to gain fame,

but to share with the world what you feel good about and what you want them to feel good about

and just make their audience content.

So individuals who participate in K-pop industry can build their audience

and that's what BTS is doing like you said in your

why do I like BTS video.

They're giving out positive influence using their big following.

Yeah, I think also that's another reason why bts became so big

they do have like really beautiful messages and topics that they talk about

not just about typical love or heartbreaks like how many younger generation artists talk about,

but they talk about so many other issues like mental health and education.

And they recently gave a speech in UN

and that proves how influential they are.

And I saw one article about BTS that one of the reasons the fans think

they became so successful is the brotherhood they share so they're really

caring about each other. What do you think?

I agree.

Yeah, I think another big appeal to BTS

is they're so down-to-earth when you watch their videos and interviews.

They're very humble. They're very

they seem very normal. They're so they're silly their yeah a little awkward. Sometimes they're funny.

They're very accessible to the viewers.

That really contradicts our

conventional belief that to be successful you have to like

fake coolness, show more than who you are, perfection.

But you don't have to be perfect

I think that's the message they are indirectly sending out of the world.

How about the negative side about Kpop industry?

It helps people to learn about Korean culture

But they give people a sort of rose-colored vision of what Korean culture is actually like.

They see kpop and they assume that this is Korea.

So rich, they look so stylish all of them are good looking and they're happy and look energetic.

But when you go to Korea to the reality of Korea

not many Koreans are that energetic and they look very tired from working so many hours

Yeah

Such overtime overtime hours and actually you're forced to can overreact for the show

It's exhausting. Yeah, even as a youtuber,

I also feel very exhausted after making a video. I feel like I have to

to entertain the audience, which is good intention

But that's not like the whole me you know, yeah.

Yeah because they are entertainers. That's the first thing.

So they have to do their job, and show the exaggerated form of themselves.

So that's a negative thing

It's hard for the k-pop artists and it also shows the viewers different and incorrect

of what they actually are.

It makes us think about the problem of education. So I think art is very neglected in education.

Yeah, people place importance on math, science, and reading. I mean they are important too, don't get me wrong.

But dancing and singing is what we can all do, we're not necessarily good at it

but can do it because we have a voice and a body, unless you're physically handicapped,

But even if you are, you can still dance right so why don't we teach that to all of the people in school?

Celebrate the arts.

Yeah, I think a lot of people have misconception that dancing and singing is only for pop stars

but that's not true.

Adding on to that, another positive influence of Kpop is

they appear and are very hardworking. They put in so many hours. They're very passionate about what they do

and I think for that that also really inspired me at the time when I was auditioning for things

following my dreams.

And that passion inspires and influences you to do not just

performance or art or whatever similar kpop things there are

but also your own dreams

whatever other dreams you have, whether it be with science or math or other interests that you truly love.

Yeah, it doesn't have to be "cool" by society standard.

Just as long as you have passion and want to work hard for it.

There's something wrong with

enthusiasm of any kind.

The Science Nobel Prizes Explained in 3 Minutes - Duration: 3:49.

The Nobel Prize committee gives awards to those who provide - "the Greatest Benefit

to Mankind" and a handful of dedicated scientists make the cut every year.

This year's winners tinkered with evolution in the lab, developed therapeutics that fight

cancer and created lasers so powerful that they can peek inside an atom.

They're investigating science at the micron level, and their groundbreaking discoveries

are completely changing the way we look at our own world.

There are three major science categories for the Nobel Prizes*; medicine, chemistry, and

physics.

And the Nobel Prize in medicine was awarded for breakthroughs in immunotherapy.

James Allison and Tasuku Honjo developed research that led to the rise of new immunotherapy

drugs.

See, our immune system has specialized cells, called t-cells, that attack any foreign invaders,

like viruses or bacteria.

Think of them like your system's bodyguard, they're looking out for any enemies in your

midst.

But that's the thing with cancer, your own cells are the enemy,so the t-cells don't

know to fight them off.

So Allison and Honjo found a way to tweak the t-cells by blocking two specific receptors;

CTLA-4 and PD-1.

This helped activate the immune system to go after cancer cells.

Human trials started in the 2010's and they've been effective against a whole host of cancers.

Next up, Chemistry.

Frances Arnold, George Smith, and Sir Gregory Winter split the Nobel Prize for their respective

work on directing evolution of enzymes and antibodies.

You see, enzymes are the workhorse of the cell.

They're biomolecules with distinct jobs that help us live, like synthesizing our nutrients

into energy.

Arnold's research used enzymes' natural ability to adapt and mutate, and she mutated

them to the point where they would perform even better than nature intended.

This was used by other scientists for years and goes beyond medicinal practices.

For instance, she converted sugars to alcohol for biofuels, which could help pave the path

for fewer fuel emissions.

Smith discovered something called phage display, a method of hacking bacteriophages, which

are viruses that infect bacteria, to create new proteins.

And then Winter used this technique to direct the evolution of antibodies, leading to new

therapies to treat diseases like rheumatoid arthritis.

And finally Physics, let's roll in the lasers.

This prize was split among Arthur Ashkin who developed "optical tweezers" and Gérard

Mourou and Donna Strickland who won "for their method of generating high-intensity,

ultra-short optical pulses."

Ashkin's "optical tweezers" started off with the idea that focused laser beams

have concentrated photons in the center and, by placing two beams near each other, they

can create a "radiative" pressure on small objects.

This causes objects to be trapped between two lasers like a tractor beam out of movie.

This is useful for scientists who want to trap tiny things, like cells and atoms.

Now Strickland and Morou creating controllable, ultra-sharp laser beams.

Back in the 1980's, instruments weren't equipped to handle super powerful lasers yet,

but Strickland and Morou found that if they stretched out the laser pulses, it would reduce

its peak power enough.

The laser then could be compressed into the ultrashort high-intensity pulses they wanted,

allowing us to look inside individual atoms!

This laser tool is used for semiconductors, medical stents, and in corrective eye surgeries.

So there are immeasurable applications to what these nobel winners have created.

Each one of them has made a technique or tool that's revised our view of the microscopic

world that we're only still learning about.

They've laid important foundations in science that are only extending our frontiers of knowledge

about the bigger world around us.

Like science in your day?

Go ahead and subscribe.

And if groundbreaking science to benefit mankind is too vague of a standard for you, check

out this detailed video on what else you need to win a Nobel Prize.

Although Nobel Prizes have been awarded for to 923 people, only 48 of them have been women

and Donna Strickland marks the 3rd woman ever to win a Nobel Prize in Physics.

You go Donna.

Thanks for watching!

Plaisir & Diète | 6lbs OF FOOD IN ONE SITTING (2,8kg) | ISC #2 | Food Challenge | #mukbang - Duration: 24:23.

Oh sh**, you're here ... as long as you're here, let's do a video ... Let's go !!

Hello greedy and welcome enjoying and dieting in the same plate

so as you could see in the title of the video today we end up

for a second episode of the ISC series or increase stomach capacity

which involves enlarging my stomach with you ... so as you could hear my voice it's

hoarse voice it's morning it's currently 8am it's been an

hour that I'm waking up to prepare all this and now I take you

with me for the end of the preparation and then I'll show you the weight of what I'm going to eat

today and then we will taste all this together and see if it fits in

my stomach and if I can eat the quantity that I set myself

without further ado let's prep the food

so as you can see here we have a lot of things at the table I weighed everything

myself but to prove to you that this is the case

I will show you the weight of each food

here first we put on 0 the scale

and we will put the pudding

that's how you see it's marked 2 kg now we tare on 0

and we will test this so here 1kg and 873gr so we already have here two kilos and

about two kilos so: 1,990kg and 1,873kg which is about 4kg

and so it would be 4 kg with this

the patties because here I have 8 patties which makes 100g

and on top of that I put 100milliliters of cocoa + water so that makes

200 grams plus raspberries we have 300gr and so we get to 4 kg

except that what must be thought now is that this dish does it

500 grams and this one too which we are three kilos and so we have three kilos

so if you do not believe me I will show you the weight of the dishes after

this one is about 500 grams and this one 600 g

so if we do the math we have 300 more grams here

the white cheese and raspberries today more pudding than I weighed yesterday

it was already 1.2kg and so in more of this we have this so

remember well 1,9kg + 2kg + 300gr we will see how much this weighs after and

this too and so you'll have the total of what I ate but in

all cases I think if I get there it will be more than 2 kilos that I had

done in the previous video ...

let's go eat now !!

so let's start with the pudding

always as good and also low in calories

if you have not yet tested this pudding or you do not know it

not yet it's a low carb pudding which is 300kcal for 1kg and the original recipe

it's 500 grams for 150 calories I will put a link here

which will take you to the recipe video and so thanks for that you can

redo it and have a breakfast for 150 calories and you put a little bit

cheese at the top so for 200-250kcal you have your breakfast and you are filled

it's perfect !!

So I'll start with that one

me who likes to eat a lot it's going to be good

Frankly excellent I put above 100-150gr of cottage cheese

and a little over 100g of raspberries

so I'm going to eat this and we end up once it's done

I am often asked why am I enlarged the capacity of my stomach especially in my last video

in which I enlarged it and again in the brunch I did "brunch cheat meal"

if you have not seen it yet it's the video that I did just before

it was the video to celebrate the 1000 subscribers

so in these two videos I eat a lot

and a lot of people then came to me and asked me why

I was doing this ... why I was eating as much but in fact it does not have any benefits

actually eat a lot is even a disadvantage

because after when you have to be dry or dieting

your stomach gets big enough so you have a hard time satisfying your satiety

and so you're not very full soon so

even if you eat a lot you are still hungry

and so it's not a good thing when you want to be on the diet BUT personally

I like to eat a lot and I do almost all the time everyday and I like that

and I like challenges and so to make big challenges you have to

have a stomach that has a large capacity

BUT it's not something you have to do on a daily basis

it is not something that is recommended and there is no benefit besides having fun

to make challenges after but otherwise do not do it

because you will have + hunger and so if you do it just because you want to eat more

do not do it on the pretext that there are benefits ... there are none

can be a psychological blessing to enjoy the food because we like to eat a lot

personally this is my case but it may not be the case for everyone

I finished half of the pudding now we will move on

like that I'm not bored with what I eat, I always eat different things

in this video I preferred to put several kinds of

food to come to some weight rather than just using a pudding

and make a pudding of 3kg or 4kg because for you it must be a little annoying to see

always someone who eats a pudding so I told myself that by doing several different dishes

you see different things that are eaten

so it's more attractive and more interesting for you and for me too

by the way because eating things different

it's better because it becomes less monotone

for example here I have a cold porridge in which I mixed cottage cheese

in order to have a texture that I love and in addition to that

it brings a lot of volume and with this I put an apple

this breakfast there I do it really often when I go to class or during the week

I often do this kind of breakfast because there are

carbohydrates that's with you for a long time with oatmeal flakes

I put in and calorie level when you're massaging or dieting

not bad... I personally am in mass grip

and I'm greedy so I'm getting a cold porridge with about

100-150gr of oatmeal

here I put 100gr and with this I am well stuck until noon,

that I tell you but

if you want to make the recipe in general you will not do

100-150gr because otherwise you will have between 1kg and 1.5kg of food

so what I advise you it is to make the recipe that I put you

here it's the same recipe I explain to you how to do it but

I use 70gr of oatmeal and that makes you

about 600-700gr even maybe 800 grams

if you put cheese and a fruit at the top, you are stalled and calorie level is really light

it's about 400 calories so I'll put it there

and besides for all the recipes that I present to you today I put them to you

in the link in description as that you can also see on my website

if you do not always want to watch youtube videos

it's easier on the website in addition there is the print icon so you can

print the recipes if you want them paper-based assets there is no problem

I thought about that, tell me if that's it please in the comments when I

speak with you while I'm eating rather than making a commentary

at the top of the video tell me if you please

if you like it I'll do this instead

or if you like both tell me so I'll do both

it's you who must see because after all I do it to please you

and not to please me although I like what I do but it should please you

and if you do not like that kind of videos where I talk while I eat tell me too

and I'll stop doing it do not worry not...

Go, I'm going back to it!

so I'll go to the rice cakes so that they do not become soft

here I put a healthy nutella on it

it's a very simple recipe to make will put in the link in descriptions and

like the others here above you can click to see the recipe

it's very simple here you've seen more or less how I did it but I do not explain

too much with the portions and all that so if you want to see all this in detail

Watch the video and look at the link in descriptions that

brings me to my site so here I put that on rice cakes with

raspberries but you can put bananas this even better

it really gives a good taste to the rice cake it changes everything

on the other hand this is not really heavy but volume level is not bad and so

it will still train my stomach so more I eat more my stomach will get bigger and

and do not forget it has no benefit it's for fun

because I'm stupid !!

believe me it changes everything chocolate on the rice cake even though

chocolate is made in a healthy way it's really much better, it's like

rice cakes with chocolate topping on

that you find in the trade except that these are much better for health

because there is no added butter sugar or anything

it's only cocoa powder not sweet and it's better for your health

and in taste it's the same

look at this

the idea of rice cakes with some chocolate or a coulis on it

cocoa or protein powder or whatever and fruits

I got it from my friend Darko who eats often large quantities it does

sometimes also trainings capacity for his stomach and

frankly he has a good chain if you like cheat meals like I do

and everything around fitness and full day of eating

and that you speak English I will put you his chain because it's worth it

I put it in descriptions you will see he is at the top and level cheat meals

frankly he is powerful he already has makes the 20k calorie challenge

15k, 10k, ... full of times and

still full of crazy cheats so enough pubs, let's eat

can I put all in my mouth?

so we'll try that

"team big bites" as Nick Dompierre would say if you know him he also

a youtube channel but he has some fangs of the future

on the other hand personally I find that doing

fangs as big it's less fun to enjoy his food

I will go back on the story pudding that it is not monotonous and history to change a little

this one he does not want to come on my spoon

I can do it often every time I just love it

it's too good for so few calories

besides I thought I was studying currently a training called

Bayesian Bodybuilding that I already told you in previous videos

so this training allows me to really

be based on health sciences, nutrition and sports

and in order to be able to coach people online, outdoors, ...

and to be able to help them to have the better shape of their life and to be in

good health, good food ...

so now that I have the knowledge

necessary tell me it would please you to make videos in which I

explain a few concepts and some story myths that you do not

be not lost if you have questions about certain topics

ask me in comment I you will answer in video and I will break

some myths for example: do carbohydrates at night make you fat?

is eating whole pasta better?

for health why or why not...

and lots of things like: does eating fat go straight into fat?

all that I can explain to you very simply very concise and that you have images that

be clear in your head thanks to the science i can explain it to you without

however far in the details

so we're going to do something a little bit more crazy we'll take this we'll do a little combo

it may not be to be super good but we will try that

let's test because who does not test does not can not judge

I have to get back to make sure

Frankly I was expecting worse with the sweet little taste of the pudding that is

also chocolate it brings a little taste really good and with the rice puff

it gives a good taste

I see you coming you imagine that I will try with that ...

and yes, that's what I'm going make

there by cons I do not guarantee something good

but we will test

no it's not crazy I do not recommend it

I do not know if you see that but I'm shaking a little

I have a little cold frankly all this food it's a little cold because

there are only cold foods here and it starts to be autumn

so I'm a little cold donations next time we're going to do something hot

and why not a huge porridge would be a good thing

with chocolate toppings and everything I'm already longing for all that

so for the next video of this series be there in a month !!

I do not know if you noticed but so my channel is quite diverse

I do four types of videos, one a week for a month

so the first type of videos is a cheat meal or a food challenge

the second type of video is the ISC series that I'm doing today

then the 3rd week I create a full day of eating

so you come with me for a day during which I eat

I'm training and I'm introducing you to few new recipes that I eat in front of you and so

I prove to you that it's easy to eat well and balanced in everyday life

and then for the fourth week I make a recipe or a

compilation of recipes that could to please you and to be useful

I hope that you diversify me

I still intend to make content videos that breaks the myths

and why not training in bodybuilding or another sport,

for example I also do some tennis a little swimming and boxing

if you like this kind of videos you can also tell me about it in comment

on my instagram I you'll put it here @maxime_lrnt

he is also here in the link and in the description

I answer everyone on instagram so

so come ask me a question or talk to me about your suggestions or something like that

on instagram and I will answer you and I will be super happy to know that

youtube people come to talk to me on instagram

here is one that is finished and it takes a little bit I hurry because the camera is going to be flat

this is second finite and we will finish with this

last bite / last bite and then we will weigh everything for you

to prove that I have eaten more than 2kg and so that I exceeded the quantity

from the last episode in which I ate a 2.2kg pudding

we will weigh both at the same time you have all the weight of a sudden

So here we have 1,350kg

so here's the video coming to an end as you could see in the clip

just before I weighed the dishes after eating

and so before eating there was two pounds for the pudding

and 1.9kg for the overnight porridge which is 3.9kg plus 300g of rice cakes

which is 4.2kg but as you can see we just weighed right now

and we had 1.35kg

which makes (4,2kg-1,35kg) = 2,85kg

so it's more than the last time where it was 2.2kg

the challenge is killed and we'll see if I get to finish it

in a month for the next episode

as for me I dressed up because as you could see I was cold while I ate

to eat a lot it makes you cold because when the body has to digest

he must get used to absorb all that so in addition to that it's a lot of volume

and the volume makes the body expend more calories to digest

I hope you enjoyed this video

if that's the case you can hit the like button and even subscribe

see you later for another recipe or another video !!

Corn Chowder Recipe - Creamy Corn Chowder With Potatoes and Bacon - Corn Soup - Duration: 6:35.

thanks for stopping by no hippie BBQ this is Lyle and if there's one thing I

like is some good corn chowder this is one of these recipes that I take to a

lot of pot lucks things like that and I don't really have a specific recipe for this creamy corn chowder

it although I will leave the approximate amounts and ingredients in the

description below now this is a recipe that I've done a number of different

ways I've used bacon bacon and shrimp just shrimp meatless no matter how you

cook this this is something that most people are going to enjoy anyway today

we are going to be doing with a bacon corn chowder we're going to be pumping

it up with a little bit of Old Bay seasoning as well as a few other

ingredients come on in and take a look at what those other ingredients are

ingredients I'm going with and this is a chowder this is something that you can

kind of make your own so use whatever kind of vegetables you like typically

I'll be using corn on the cob and I would strip that away with the knife to

benefits to doing that technique is some of the corn starch from the corn

actually will thicken up the recipe a little bit so I'm probably going to add

a little bit of flour to this which I don't have on this table right now so we

have some white corn I'm going with some red pepper flakes some jalapeno so this

is gonna be pretty spicy so if you don't like spicy food you can eliminate that

we have some fresh cracked black pepper some better than bouillon or any kind of

chicken base that you like some Old Bay seasoning green onions and I am

reserving some of those green onion tops for later on just does a little bit of

garnish some celery onions and if these look a little bit kind of weird I did

have these frozen from a different recipe so perfect recipe to use leftover

ingredients in we have potatoes that are diced and we have our bacon we're also

going to be using some heavy whipping cream and some milk like I said I am

going to touch this up with a little bit of flour to help and thick

it up let's get on to the next step our first tip is gonna be to go ahead and

cook this bacon until it becomes somewhat crispy now that our bacon is

cooked about 3/4 of the way through we're gonna go ahead and add our onions

our silver ring and our jalapenos we're just gonna go ahead and cook this until

the vegetables start getting a little softened up now that our vegetables are

soft up we're gonna go ahead and add our pepper a red pepper a whole big stir

that in and we will be tasting down the road adding anything that we need to at

that time now we're going to go ahead and add our flour

we're gonna stir this in and let it cook for about a minute that's cooked down a

minute we're gonna go ahead and add our potatoes

and I'm going to throw in a dollop of this chicken bouillon and this is just a

faster way of getting the chicken flavor in it without actually stirring it into

a you know some water because it's gonna disperse through there anyway let's go

with our green onions

all of our heavy cream

now we're going to just go ahead and add enough milk to cover this by about an

inch inch and a half

let's take a look at this stirred up right quick

and I can just tell by looking at this from making it a few times we are gonna

go ahead and hit a little bit more of this old bay I could just tell that it

doesn't have enough in it just by the color and I'm gonna go ahead and let

this corn chowder soup simmer for a good hour hour and a half so those potatoes can get softened

up and let all these flavors come together now that this has had a chance

to simmer for about an hour and a half you can see that this chowder is a lot thicker

than it was we are good to go I'm gonna go ahead and plate this up go ahead and

taste it and see what we think

now I'm going to tell you this taste test right here is a mere formality this

is something that I cook all the time so I know exactly how good this is

sometimes it does change up a little bit so you know let's get in

like I said this is awesome now some of the changes I make like I've mentioned

earlier sometimes I'll have some shrimp to this sometimes I'll even add like

some white wine things like that sometimes I won't add the potatoes so I

just this kind of changes up all the time the same basic concept one of the

things I will tell you is that whole Bay does come through in this so definitely

if you have some little bay rocks some of that out if you don't whatever kind

of seasoning you like anyway I'd like to thank you guys for stopping by hippie

BBQ and watching my corn chowder recipe video.

PEOPLE ARE STEPPING THERE WEIGHT LOSS GAME UP IN OCTOBER - Duration: 6:18.

hey guys it's a month of october and i see a lot of people trust and believe i

see a lot of people step in their weight loss game up you know and mainly it's

because in a simple fact that the holidays are coming in we don't want to

already be overweight and then jump into the issue of being even more overweight

after the holidays with more weight to have to deal with losing so i've been

watching a lot of people on instagram step in a game of doing juice cleanses a

lot of people step in their game up doing dry passes and water fasting and

all those sort of thing also doing the keto with 36 hours a refeed said of

doing the you know what is it eight teen six method or however it goes

intermitting fast or the every 23 and then a ohm add one meal a day they're

stepping it up to fasting for 36 hours then after that eating a meal which i'm

thinking about doing that next currently as we speak i'm on a drive fast and i'm

doing an experiment this is an experiment drive fast that no one has

done before and i'm doing it because i want to be able to go longer than five

days without feeling weak or deprived racing the clock away to you know

basically wanting to eat food and drink fluids again so i'm doing an experiment

i don't know if it's gonna be a flop or something that isn't very successful

beginning to happy ending so that I can get on Phase two but I feel for everyone

not just myself that October is going to be some great results

I see people really stepping up to the plate videos that I

watch on a daily basis in Instagram pages that I follow because I'm an

Instagram beast I love Instagram I not a facebook person I go on there to put my

videos on to my juice page and you know that's once in a while because

Facebook's kind of funny about putting YouTube videos on their platform they

kind of like block you special in you tag in some of your friends to watch the

video you can barely even tag you know your friends anymore because YouTube and

Facebook are not really friends and they're making it harder and harder for

you to promote your videos and get it out to the public but give enough for

that everything's looking up I'm still on my weight-loss journey the last week

and a half I've been doing a lot of Drive fast my mental has been out of

this world on my muscle spasms which is correlated with my nervous system and my

anxiety has been at bay and I'm just like I'm all for it I do contribute me

not having anxiety and my muscle spasm is because of the fact that I'm not

doing salt water flushes as much which could be a sodium buildup and also it

can also be diluting the system down too much and taken away some of the good

bacteria or minerals and vitamins that need to stay in the body that I need

that keeps me in my anxiety and my muscle spasm in my nerves at bay so or

it could be a combination of both that I'm diluting my system down too much

with the salt water flushes taking too much away and also a sodium buildup but

in this case I think it's a mixture of both

it's diluting the system down too much with the salt water flushes depleting

myself of things at the bottom needs and also sodium build

and I notice now that I've been doing dry fast that I've been feeling balanced

now my sleep is another issue we can get on that another topic I think that

because I'm starting to learn that my body is not responding the same way to

all these saltwater flushes that I do on a daily basis and so forth that I'm

learning that you know this is what works and this this is what doesn't work

and now my sleep is going to be not the way it should be

until I consistently do this new method of staying away from the salt water

flushes so that I'm not diluting my system down and taking away things that

need to be in the system that are being washed away and also by taking away the

salt little flush not having that sodium buildup of too much sodium in the body

once I get all that regulated and I accept that you know the salt water

flushes have to be something that's eliminated out of my life I'm using the

Senna which will be in the description below

the center that I use in place of the salt water flushes now everything you

know should be looking up so I don't want to make this video too long this is

just an update video as you see I'm randomly going in and out of different

conversations of what's really going on in the current time frame of October and

I'm just again looking to get the remaining of this way off of my body so

that I can go on to Phase two which is maintenance so with all that being said

please subscribe to the channel like and share this video and make it a favorite

and I'll see you guys in the next video bye for now

Khabib Nurmagomedov refuses to back down after ugly McGregor brawl - Blog news - Duration: 4:04.

Khabib Nurmagomedov has refused to take a backward step following his actions that sparked a wild brawl in the aftermath of his bout with Conor McGregor

Speaking to reporters following the contest, Nurmagomedov explained how McGregor's antics in the lead-up to the fight played a part in the brawl

"I don't understand how people can talk about how I jumped on the cage," Nurmagomedov said

"What about (when) he talked about my religion? Khabib had to be restrained by the security at T-Mobile Arena after charging into the crowd following his win (AAP) "He talked about my country, he talked about my father

He (came) to Brooklyn and he broke a bus, almost killed a couple of people."What about this s--t? Why people talk about I jumped on the cage?" Nurmagomedov explained that he wanted to change the culture of the UFC away from the current culture of heavy trash-talk, inspired by McGregor

"This is a respect sport, not a trash-talking sport," he said."I don't want people to talk s--t about opponents, talk s--t about his father, religion

"You cannot talk about religion, you cannot talk about nation. This for me is very important

" The 30-year-old's actions surprised many UFC experts, given his usually calm demeanour, and he was remorseful for showing a bad side of himself to the crowd

"First of all I want to say sorry to (the) Athletic Commission (of) Nevada, sorry to Vegas," Nurmagomedov said

Nurmagomedov got McGregor to tap out in the fourth round following a choke hold (AAP) "I know this is not my best side

I am a human being." In a constant theme throughout the press conference, Nurmagomedov mentioned his father, perhaps revealing the trigger for his wild antics following the fight

"My father taught me to always be respectful," he said."My gold team, where I am training in California for seven years, everybody knows who I am

"I know my father is going to smash me when I go home." The Russian also revealed that he had received a phone call from the Russian President Vladimir Putin following the win

"All media talk about is how I took a picture with Putin," he said."He just called me and he said he is very proud of me

" McGregor was escorted out of T-Mobile Arena after members of Khabib's team attacked him after the fight (AAP) Nurmagomedov extended his UFC record to 27-0 following his submission win over McGregor and admitted that he could see submission as an effective method of winning prior to the bout

"I told you guys, not only him, his whole team, they are tap machines," he said."When you put him the wrong way, he's going to tap

"They call him a two-time world champion, but today he tapped."

Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper - I'll Never Love Again - Review and Reaction (A Star is Born) - Duration: 8:00.

hello and welcome back to another Sunday Song Review this week I'm doing a

three-part video series reviewing and reacting to different songs from the

' A star is born' soundtrack this is the third video in that series. I did a first

video on Is That Alright the second video was Always Remember Us This Way

and this video I'll be reviewing and reacting to I'll Never Love Again. No,

yes it's called I'll never love again.

So many song names so much excitement right now going into this album and a star is

born soundtrack if you're new here thanks for clicking on this video my

name is Charles please remember to punch that subscribe button let me know what

you think please disagree with me in the comments I'm curious to know what your

thoughts are let's get right into it this song is by Lady Gaga and Bradley

Cooper plus a lot of other co-writers it is called I'll never love again

so already like some you can hear someone breathing you I think it's lady

gaga breathing and it's like that those kind of breaths where you're nervous so

something is happening here oh I gotta say goodbye if I knew it would be the

last time so it is sad the lyrics are like I don't want to fight again I don't

want to start another fire again like there is there's a deep emotion here of

like missing someone so I don't know spoiler alert

just Bradley Cooper died in the movie Jackson Maine I don't know I haven't

seen it yet sorry I just made you think that either they broke up or or he he he

died I don't know let's keep going maybe we'll find out in the soundtrack

she's singing in a register which makes it sound really different than that lady

gaga we're used to it's so high and I think she's pushing it to that level

because there's like a lot of emotion in it but it sounds really nice with the

strings in the background and the piano at the base like it's very melancholy

and sad yeah satsang when we first met

that's a bit of Tina Turner kind of hmm going on there which is nice and the

drum kicks happening there so if songs really starting to have a bit of of

lightness to it with the drums and her voice now is in more of a comfortable

range found yeah so getting a bit less sad but still overall this is a sad song

but you know what sad songs are some of the best songs

I like the melody but it's something we've heard before and I almost I can't

think of the song right now in my head but what is that they can't remember

right now but yeah the the melody is not I'm not blown away it almost sounds like

a Mariah Carey song a little bit and that could be because her voice is so

similar to Mariah Carey right now she's pushing that Mariah Carey range and is

it a Meijer does it remind you of a Mariah Carey song if so if you think I'm

crazy put it in the comments if you think you know what Mariah Carey song it

is put it in the comments let's keep going

you know the song I believe I can fly I believe I can touch the sky it's also in

Space Jam I think with Michael Jordan it sounds kind of like that it's pushing it

a little bit but listen to it let me know what you think am I completely

wrong

so a really big bridge is happening here there's a ton of instruments involved in

this

it's very string string orchestral based so there's a lot of cello there's a lot

of viola viola violin

big song I'm not surprised because it's the last song you want to go out with

like a boom her voice is really pushing it here in the bridge

right here she takes two quick breaths which is not normal for a singer like

you would take one breath and then you would sing but she's like caught up on

her breath because she's emotional and that is that is not even acting that's

like real emotion that she's feeling so they listen to this to to breath here

you can almost feel like she's she's going to choke up like she's going to

cry before she starts singing and that's wild to capture in the recording because

it adds so much of a different emotional dynamic that you feel for her

I don't wanna give my heart away to the stranger can't wait don't let

what just happened they really cut their didn't it three minutes and 52 seconds

it cut so abruptly there maybe and it sounds like it was Bradley Cooper so I'm

not sure what's happening let's listen to that again don't wanna give my

interesting it it completely cuts so it's a different track and it's Bradley

Cooper singing now really cool ending it looks like they brought in the scene

from the movie it looks it you can hear Lady Gaga in the background and you can

kind of hear the creaking of the piano bench that they're on and it sounds like

he's just playing the song maybe so very unexpected I like that when that happens

and song says you know it's different and that's the end of a song so let me

know what you think I think it's a great end to the song it's a really sad song

I'm not sure what happens in the movie if you know don't spoil it for everyone

in the comments let me know what you think though and if you're new here

please remember to subscribe it my name is Charles and I will see you in the

next video
