Youtube daily report Dec 4 2018

The Dark Web is a part of the deep web - often described as the internet under the internet.

Its real - it exist - and Im sure many of you have heard strange stories from it and

governments attempts to shut certain sites down.

These stories are creepypastas about the dark web, that doesnt mean theyre real but it also

doesnt mean theyre not real.

Its up to you to decide.

Make sure you also check out our scariest creepypastas video up here if you havent - if

you can get through this video - thats definitely the next one you should watch …

Starting off at number 10 we have The Visiting[a].

This one was written by Tales From The Abyss in 2016.

In its short history its turned heads as a terrifying story about the Dark Web.

It revolves around an 18 year old guy and girl.

She convinces him that they should check out the dark web, just for fun.

While browsing around, they find a movie called -The Visiting- … they were drawn in by the

display picture - a simple white background with the title written in black Arial font.

When he wasnt looking, the girl ordered the movie to be delivered to her house.

He was mad, he didnt want anything from the dark web coming to her home or any connection

they had even been there.

Three days later, they were watching a horror movie at her house when they heard an aggressive

knock at the door.

They opened it to find a tall, stocky man with a ski mask and dark clothes was stood

outside - and he was holding a hammer.

He was about to slam the door and call the police when he heard his girlfriend scream

from the back of the house.

When he ran there she was pointing at the garden - an identical man was at the window

holding a baseball bat.

The story only gets more horrifying there, and is a reminder that you should only order

a visitor if you really want one …

Next up at the number 9 spot we have Journey to the Dark Web.[b] This story from 2015 is

written from the perspective of a computer technician.

One day, he gets called out to a business complain that their internet is acting up.

When he arrives, he sets about trying to fix their connection - its something he's done

a million times before and in his boredom he noticed a strange network pop up on his

computer.

He joined it out of curiosity and began poking around to try and find where it came from

- then his PC froze up for a few seconds - how strange.

It never did that.

After messing around a bit more, it kept happening - he decided he had enough - so he tried to

disconnect - but the network hadnt finished with him yet.

Just as he was about to hit the power button on his laptop to perform a hard reset, his

browser opened again.

This time, a little chat box opened, it simply said -Hello.- He stared at the screen for

afew seconds, not quite sure what to do.

A journey then began which he would never forget - one that blurred the lines between

human, AI and a new kind of demon …

Moving on to number 8 now we have The Connection[c].

In September 2018, this story was posted to creepypasta titled -I found a laptop connected

to the deep web- … from there, youre hooked.

The main character finds a bag that someone must have left in his local cafe.

He thought about giving it back, handing it in to the staff - but a moment of dishonesty

came over him and he decided to take the bag.

It was a decision he would live to regret.

When he gets home, he isnt sure what to expect and is shocked to find a laptop in mint condition

inside.

There was even a charger and a wireless mouse.

He also found a phone that had no texts and only one recent call to an out of state number.

The more he examined the phone and laptop, the creepier things got.

He finds pictures of a local barber shop, a path in the woods, a garage and even the

cafe where he found the laptop.

Soon, he notices that a spate of recent murders were tied to all of those locations - all

except the cafe - then, he begins to make a horrible realisation.

Coming in at number 7 we have The Freak Show[d].

This one was told by Reddit user Jaden Sutton.

He says he grew up loving technology and by university he considered himself a hacker.

Eventually he got bored of this and wanted a new thrill.

His friend told him about the dark web and the very same day he was scrolling through

some pages, when he got a pop up box.

A message in red text -If you don't know whats next, youre probably in the wrong place- … there

were two buttons, continue and leave - he clicked continue.

He said that was the biggest mistake of his life.

A black screen appeared with a blood red title at the top of the screen, it simply read -The

Freak Show- … in the middle of the screen there was a chat box … a message popped

up from someone titled Admin.

He said hello - the conversation that followed is one that disturbed him for life - and is

said to have a similar effect on many people that read it …

Moving on to number 6 we have We Few Are Many.[e] This is a great one about some kids who get

curious about the dark web and how its not separate from their lives - its very much

intertwined with it.

After installing the programme to visit the dark web, the main character visits a video

site, not unlike a dark web version of YouTube.

There was soon one that caught their eye, it was a video from their local Burger Joint

called Dark Point Burgers.

They see people they know, places they know - strange twisted images that scare them into

turning off the computer.

But it wont - then they see a live video feed of the room theyre in - then a voice speaks,

and their life changes forever.

Next up at number 5 we have Dark Afternoon Tape[f].

This story revolves around the storytellers friend finding a Dark Web site that showcases

bant content from the regular web, gruesome crime scene photos and the sort.

The friend found an audio clip and started listening.

The more he listened, the more distressed he became.

Suddenly, he stood up, took off the headphones and threw them on the desk.

He was shaking and simply said -That fucking audio file- … so now he wanted to hear it

himself.

Before he could get there though, the friend deleted the sound file and shut down the computer.

He soon left - but the storyteller remembered something - the audio file had come with a

story.

A real story.

A story that was scarier than whatever his friend had heard on the audio file.

What follows next is the text from the story.

Its titled -The Dark Afternoon Incident - Real Or Hoax?- … heres the first paragraph for

you, but youll have to find the rest for yourself -As a journalist, Ive investigated everything

from political corruption to celebrity scandals to international cybercrime.

But never have I come across something so bizarre and deeply disturbing as a simple

audio tape-

Moving on to number 4 we have Taking Care[g].

This one was posted to Reddit by Packathonjohn.

He tells the story of how he was always fascinated by the deep web.

One day at college, his friend set everything up for him to use it.

After a few weeks he felt like a pro - he started to get cocky.

He turned off the censored mode and began to go deeper.

Most of the pages lead to to dead webpages but eventually, he stumbled across a site

called -All the gore- … it was a big chatroom with many different topics.

Even though he had a strong stomach from some pretty horrific stuff hed seen on the normal

internet - this was something else though.

After a while, he realised how sick the site reallyw as - the people in the chat rooms

were actual killers, bragging about some of the things they have done.

He told them they were sick and threatened to call the police.

They told him he would regret it if he did.

He reached for his phone to make the call, there was a new message - he opened it and

he said -Call the police and you're dead- … thats a line that some creepypastas would

be happy to end on, but that story only starts there …

Moving on to number 3 we have Welcome To Iris[h].

This is a story about a guy called Ben who lost is laptop at a cafe - hopefully not the

same cafe I mentioned in an earlier story.

He returned tand ask the owner if they had a lost and found and within 3 seconds he had

the laptop back in his possession.

He said an old guy had returned after finding it under the chair where Ben usually sat.

Ben didnt think much of it and was just happy to get it back.

When he booted it up at home, he was surprised to find that all the icons on his desktop

had been wiped clear, all except one in the center.

It was called TOR, some of you guys may recognise that as an access programme for the Deep Web.

He found himself in a chatroom and after a while, he decided to close the screen and

delete the browser.

Then, a message appeared in the chatroom - it said -49524953 wants to chat- … Ben dismissed

it as just a bot.

Then it said -Hello Ben- … chills crawled down his spine at the sight of his own name

-OK, a clever bot- he thought.

He hovered over the X when another message came through - this time it was a jumbled

code.

When he decoded it, it was a letter addressed to him - inviting him to join a group called

IRIS.

Find the story for youself to see his struggles with IRIS - and the horror of having to join

a group you don't want to - because they know your name and they know where you live …

Next up at number 2 we have Why I Left The Deep Web[i].

This is a creepypasta posted to the No Sleep subreddit by TASdiablo.

Now, I say creepypasta but what thats not what the disclaimer says at the top of the

story, it reads, -DISCLAIMER: This not a ghost story or creepypasta that most of you are

here to read, please do not read this post if you are easily disturbed- … the story

still is told by a 22 post graduate who said that he started exploring the dark web at

high school.

He had 3 aliases he used.

He ordered drugs and got a drug dealer to sell them - he was mastering the mark web.

Then, in his 2nd year, the government began shutting down sites like Silk Road and Mad

Onion.

He went deeper though, after 10 years he thought he had seen everything there was to see.

Then, one day, he and his friend were in a chatroom when people mentioned a site that

noone had managed to get past its encryption - except for one person.

They share what they saw in the chatroom - and the storyteller describes it as this -This

site is the most cancerous and revolting sector from the darkest part of the dark web.

It is a scar that I bear to this day and it is one that I will never, EVER forget.

I'll warn readers again, this is not for the faint-hearted and something that even the

most emotionally-numb people will not be able to deal with- … the story continues, and

it only gets darker from there …

And finally at number 1 we have The Contract[j].

This is a creepypasta by Shannon Higdon about a guy called Martin Croker who worked for

a newspaper.

His boss, Teddy Wilson, wanted him to do a piece about the dark web.

He gets paired up with his colleague Susan.

The pair are guided on their journey with a dark web regular called Hector.

He tells them about The Contract - a shady agreement in which people give their lies

over to a dark organization when they become truly desperate in life.

Its also known as The Devils Contract or quite simply - The Final Contract.

Even on the dark web, its existence is more like an Urban Legend.

The victim signs away their life in this digital contract and at that moment - their life no

longer belongs to them.

In their quest for the story of the century, they try to discover the roots of this contract,

what it contains, and just how powerful the people are behind it.

Well here we are at the end of the video which means most of you are going to do one of two

things.

Either you will want to go and look at pictures of kittens and forget all about the dark web

- or you may go and seek out the stories and read more - let me know which one you are.

For now were gonna look at some comments.

Kfyeshua said -Anyone here from 1955- … that was the most upvoted comment on that video.

You guys are strange.

I like it.

A lot of people replied to that to say that yes, they were in fact from 1955.

You know whats strange though?

One day people on the internet will find comments saying -Anyone here from 2018?- and theyll

think that was ancient - a time when their grandparents were young - maybe you guys are

those grandparents - I don't know where this trail of thought is going …

Kerry Ann said - another top selection of Urban Legends!

I cant get enough of all these selections.

You do see some variations.

Like we all have our bogeyman with different names .. same premise- … thats a very good

point, after doing all these Urban Legends videos I have begun to notice certain patterns

and characters appearing around the world - but I think its their slight variations

that make urban legends videos - and it lets us see what stories we all have in common!

Alright guys thats all for now, thanks as always for watching, my name is Danny Burke

and Ill see you all in the next video!

Advent Calendars - Human and Dog Versions - Duration: 5:09.

hi everybody, I'm Amanda the G

and happy December!

which means it's finally festive time

and also, before I get started

I wanna say a giant thank you to everybody

that we finally hit like 200 subscribers on the channel which I still can't believe

um, and now that I'm saying this

it might go down to like 199 or something

but whatever

uhh I didn't think that would actually happen this year

so, uh, magic 8 ball (nails clicking)

this was right

hey magic 8 ball, are you happy that you were right?

it is decidedly so

ok, we have pleased the mighty magic 8 ball

and hit 200 subscribers, so thank you everybody for that, that's awesome

and because it is December, and it is holiday season

that means it's like the advent season, which means advent calendars

and also advent tea

which is a thing

I didn't know this, but uh, I found this when I was in Germany

it's advent- advents fruchtetee

advents fruchtetee

advent fruit tea

ummm, sorry for my pronunciation, I tried

the thing that I don't understand though

so for anyone who's German watching this

can you tell me why this has pineapple in it?

I don't, I don't, I don't understand how that is an advent fruit

but I do have this

and I haven't had any yet, and it smells really good

and I'm excited to try this around advent time

and also the other teas that I bought there, because I got a little excessive with tea

every year facebook tells me that I need to get an alcohol based advent calendar

sometimes they advertise me gin, which would literally kill me

it would send me into anaphylactic shock, so no thank you

then they advertise me whiskey and scotch

and there was a vodka one I think at one point

and a lot of wine one

they do all of this, and you know what, this year

I broke down

and I got myself a wine one

not at all sponsored of course

I bought this full out, it was very expensive

this is from Vinebox

it is their, their wine advent calendar, it is 12 days of wine

um, it's incredibly expensive

but I wanted to treat myself

and I know it's only 12 days

but oh my god if I were gonna spend for 24 holy crap

one pers- well, ten people actually win this

where one of the bottles is all glittery and then you

win a year full of wine

and all I did was lift em up a little bit

to prove that, no, indeed, Amanda did not win

uh, I don't want to spoil this for myself

but there are 12 different types of wine and some are gonna be white

clearly, and some are red

and this makes me happy, so every night

for the 12 nights leading up to Christmas, which I don't remember when that starts

on and I have to actually pay attention

so the 13th I think is when I start

I just counted backwards and I think I start on the 13th

but I will double check that

and leading up to Christmas, I will have from this beautiful box

my wine

the only problem is that it's alcohol

and when you deliver alcohol in the mail

you literally have to sign for it with ID

sign for it

so I had to have this delivered to my work

because they come in the middle of the day

and my work office signed for it and then brought it to me

and just a little warning

if you do that too

umm, the outside of the box that this comes in

talks all about wine all over it and then it has a sticker on it saying that it's alcohol

so, you know, pay attention to your work's policy before you deliver alcohol there

but don't worry, I'm not just gonna be drinking tea

and alcohol by myself

no, no, no

I found a 12 day advent calendar

for my dog

there's a 12 day of peanut butter dog treats advent calendar

and yes I did buy this for Ollie

because he deserves it damnit!

also, don't tell me something about like grain food and that type of stuff

and yes this does have grains in it but you know what, listen

I talked to my vet

and they actually asked me to take him

off of grain feee- free, grain free, that's really hard to say

take him off of the grain free food

and put him on to food with grains in it

because he has a heart condition

and apparently having food without the grains can

can limit the taurine absorption

which can be difficult for, for the heart

so don't just change your dog's food, like talk to your vet about it

but my vet literally told me to go to the food with, with grains in it

and I'm going to trust her

umm I'm under the realization that this may be the last Christmas

that I have with him, which is not something that I wanna think about

but that's also why he's getting an advent calendar with my advent calendar

and that's why we have matching pajamas

and that's why we are going to be wearing matching pajamas on Christmas eve

that's it for this video, let me know in the comments below

if you do any of these like advent boxes or if you've gotten the Vinebox

or another one of the boxes, I'm just kinda interested to know

um, and also if you're wondering

the dog treat box

is at World Market

also not sponsored, but in case you're trying to find it for your dog, that's where it is

if you liked this video, click the like button

and subscribe to my channel

I make a new video every Tuesday and Friday

thank you guys so much for watching

MWAH!

can you tell that my hair was wet this whole time?

also I just came back from the gym, I'm literally wearing what I wore to the gym

this is my life!

Adobe XD Tutorial For Beginners [Using The Artboard Tool] | HiiQ Adobe XD - Duration: 9:17.

Hii welcome back to HiiQ. In this series we're gonna be covering Adobe XD also

known as Adobe experience designer. this program was created to help web

designers create experiences that are more easily creatable in the web

development side. So if you know from way way back there used to be a program

called Fireworks by Adobe that was very similar where it was meant for designing

websites but websites have changed in recent years from going to responsive

design and being very flat with fewer images so Adobe wanted to set out to

create a design program tailored to web developers and designers to make sure

that they designed things that will be scalable and usable in multiple formats

such as iOS, Android or web. So to start the series we're just gonna be doing the

very basics by covering the artboard tool and in later episodes we'll get

into other tools as well as how to create some really fancy designs and

into a little bit of UI theory and UX theory also known as user interface

versus user experience design. Let's get started. So I'm just starting up

Adobe XD right now and right in the Welcome panel we can immediately select

what device we are going to be designing for so whether it's iPhone, iPad or for

web you can also click on these little dropdowns to select different device

types so such as our Android mobile now there's also new add-ons that are going

to be changing the way Adobe XD works so these add-ons we're not going to cover

them today but just to give you a brief little look it allows you to add new

features to Adobe XD making this program very extensible for the future. We'll be

covering a few of these later on but right now we're just gonna be running

completely vanilla version of Adobe XD. So for this I'm gonna start with a

simple web layout someone's gonna click on the web layout and this will start my

project. So to begin let's just look at some of the actual settings of our

artboards so in the center of the screen this would be what we refer to as our

artboard. You can also see on the left it will

list any artboards that you have currently to see the settings of the

artboard I'm just gonna click on the top bit of text here and I'll select the

artboard over on the right in our properties panel we can see the

artboards actual width height settings as well as the ability to switch it

between landscape and portrait below that we do have this option for

responsive resize we're gonna be covering responsive resize in a much

later episode so I wouldn't worry about it just as yet for scrolling this

feature is very good for when we want to make sure that we are designing all of

our content to be above the fold of the page as its referred to. So on my

artboard to show how this works I'm going to scale it up just by selecting

the bottom little handle here and dragging down so you'll see there's this

dotted line in between that just shows where my screen area ends so if I was to

design all my content put in some sliders and things it's a clear

indicator of where the monitor is and where the user will have to start

scrolling so you can choose whether this artboard is a vertical scroll and if

it's mobile whether it is a horizontal scroll for instance and then the

viewport height itself below that we have the appearance of the actual

artboard this allows us to change the fill of the artboard so I can just click

on this little color picker here and I can select any color I want now if any

color picker in Adobe XD you can save your swatches since this is an area

where we want to make sure that we are saving all the colors that are gonna be

utilized within our project. It's a very good idea to keep the swatches so if I

select a background color here that I'm gonna be using later, right below I'm

gonna just click this save color swatch and there we go. That color swatch is

saved and it will show up in any other color picker throughout Adobe XD you can

also select from existing colors on your artboard by just clicking this pick

color from screen this allows me to select any color I want. Perfect.

Now I'm gonna switch that back to white and the final setting for our artboard

is the grid layout. So this is extremely useful as a lot of websites these days

are designed using some kind of a grid layout also referred to as a column

layout. So if I check this on as you can see it immediately adds in my standard

twelve column grid layout and you can customize it a bit here. So I can choose

how many columns I want so I'm just gonna click inside the field here and I

can type in a number or I can even use the arrow keys just to go up and down to

select new columns you can change your gutter width which is the white space in

between each column. I can increase that or decrease and you can even set your

column width though it's automatically being set because I have an exact

measurement here of my columns and then it's just separating them by the gutter

width but you can also manually change this. And then the final settings down at

the bottom here this allows me to set whether this is a left-to-right margin

based or if I want to put margin along all sides of the screen so just by

clicking on this little option here I can raise the actual top margin the top

margin the right margin the bottom margin and the left margin whenever you

see for values like this it is always going to be in that order top right

bottom left just think clockwise. I'm gonna keep this as a left-to-right only

and there we go now when it comes to adding more artboards we can add them

for multiple devices or just have multiple screens for a lot of our

websites that we design here we like to make sure that we design every single

page in a single document that way the developer can go in and see all the

pages or a client can even go through and actually navigate the website. We'll

get into how to use prototyping in a later episode. So for now to add in more

artboards over on the left here we have our tools

panel and near the bottom there is the actual

artboard tool. If you hover over the tool you'll notice that it has a little

tooltip that tells you the actual hotkey to activate that tool. So I'm going to

just select the artboard tool here or click a on the keyboard and then you're

just gonna scroll over to the right of the artboard here and I can click and

drag and draw a new artboard there we go. So if this new artboard I should start

naming them to make sure that I don't get too confused. So I can just double

click on the actual title of the artboard and I can rename it so this may

be my about page so this also means I should probably name my first start

board. So I can go to that artboard and double click the title or over in the

artboards panel I can double click the name here and just write in what I want

the name to be. I can also for organization click and drag these

artboards just to rearrange them like so now this artboard isn't exactly the same

as my previous one I probably want ones that have the same screen size so

instead of drawing a new artboard as long as I have the artboard tool active

over on the right I can select from any of those existing artboard sizes. So I

can roll down and I can see that there is that same web layout that I used

before so I'm going to click on that and you'll see it'll automatically add that

new artboard in at those dimensions. If you want to design the same exact

project design but at different device resolutions you can select a completely

different resolution to pop it next to it so that the client or developer can

see what you want your project to look like in a mobile view. If you want to

just duplicate a complete artboard and all of its contents select the artboard

once again using the artboard tool and you can just use copy/paste or my

favorite is holding the option or Alt key on Windows and just dragging the

artboard down and then I'll let go and there we go. I've just created a new

artboard and once again you can also use copy/paste. So I can go edit

copy or command+C and then command+V or edit paste and it will paste the

artboard it's a next step here. So that's the artboard tool in Adobe XD. In the

next episode we're gonna get into how to draw shapes in Adobe XD in all of their

settings. So until next time! HiiQ is filmed in Hiilite Creative Group studio

in Kelowna, British Columbia and is made with the help of our creative team. If

Top 10 Dark Web Creepypastas - Duration: 12:47.

Top 10 Dark Web Creepypastas - Duration: 12:47.

GOT7 Return With Wintertime "Miracle" | Billboard News - Duration: 1:47.

Christmas has come early for GOT7 fans as the group has dropped their brand new

music video for "Miracle!" Described as "a gentle, piano-based pop ballad" by 'Billboard,'

the song sounds like how the holidays feel and will leave you ready for Santa,

some gingerbread cookies and warm cocoa.

The clip sees the members in various wintery settings as they interact with a young girl

who travels to join them under a snow filled, moonlit sky. Spoiler alert - the closing

moments eventually reveal the entire video was just a fantasy the girl dreamt up in her

head. The track can be found on their 'Present: YOU & ME' album, which is a reissued,

two-disc version of 'Present: YOU' which dropped in September and peaked at No. 3

on the World Albums chart. Let's take a look at what you had to say about the new

video over on Twitter.

For more, including the full video and further details you can check out
