Youtube daily report Dec 6 2018

Hey everyone, welcome to a potential new series on this channel.

Its going to be a bit like our Urban Legends videos but focusing on mysteries.

Every country has unsolved mysteries which have remained so for years, decades or even

centuries.

Hundreds or even thousands of people have tried to solve them - but nobody has got the

answers.

Lets see what your brain makes of them, also, some of them are a bit disturbing.

My name is Danny Burke and this is the Top 10 Scary British Mysteries.

Starting off at number 10 we have Who put Bella in the Wych Elm?[a] Those are the words

that first appeared in graffiti in 1944 in Birmingham.

They might sounds like nonsense to you but they were referencing a murder.

The year before, 4 boys in the town of Hagley discovered the body of a woman in the trunk

of a wych elm.

Police estimate she had been killed and put there 3 years before.

The woman was never identified - but the graffiti - the creepy question of Who Put Bella in

the Wych Elm - that kept appearing.

It seemed that whoever started writing the message had knowledge about the case or may

have even been the one who killed the woman - presumed to be called Bella.

In the decades since then, there have been a number of theories about who killed Bella

- some say she was the victim of witchcraft, and that her severed hand was proof of a dark

ritual called the Hand of Glory.

Either way, it seems that someone was once out there who knew what really happened, and

wanted to get people to investigate by writing that one creepy question everywhere they could

Moving on to number 9 we have The Solway Spaceman[b].

This one used to creep me out a lot as a kid.

I was fascinated by it.

Perhaps some of you guys watching are about the same age as I was when I discovered this

so Im happy to pass it on to the next generation.

The Solway Spaceman is a mysterious picture taken in 1964 by Jim Templeton in Cumbria,

England.

Jim took a picture of his 5 year old daughter but to his surprise, when he got the picture

developed there appeared to be a figure in a space suit in the background.

Jim insisted that he did not see anyone around them when the picture was taken.

It didnt take long for people to start talking about aliens or time travellers.

These theories only grew louder when Jim claims two men who said they were from the government

visited him but refused to show any ID but demanded he showed them where the picture

was taken.

In the years since then, some have said that the spaceman is nothing more than a view of

Jims wife from behind, her dress appearing white from overexposure.

Read a full article if you like this, really interesting story …

Moving on to number 8 now we have the Suicidal Dogs[c].

For anyone whos been watching the channel for a few years now, this one may be familiar.

Over the past 50 years, about 50 dogs have fallen about 50ft from Overtoun Bridge in

Scotland.

They werent pushed, they werent chased - theyve just thrown themself off - and nobody knows

why this keeps happening.

All of these dog suicides happen at the same spot, just before the final two parapets on

the right hand side of the bridge.

It almost always happens on clear sunny days and all of the dogs were long nosed breeds

such as labradors, collies and retrievers.

A few of the dogs survived, if they were humans you could ask what came over them - bit more

difficult with dogs.

Rumours that overtoun bridge and the nearby overtoun house being haunted have only grown

stronger and some say the dogs are picking up on an energy that is beyond human comprehension.

In any case, its an absolute mystery.

Next up at number 7 we have Madeleine McCann[d].

This will be a name familiar to most people from the UK.

Madeleine was a 3 year old girl who went missing on May 3rd 2007 while on a family trip in

Portugals Praia da Luz.

Her parents were dining with friends in a Tapas bar just round the corner and the group

had regularly checked on their kids.

Maddie was reported missing at 10PM, her brothers and sister who were 1 year old twins were

found sleeping safely in the apartment.

Its been over 11 years since then and so far theories have ranged from botched burglarys,

being stolen by predators or even sold to a rich family in the middle east.

Both the British and Portuguese continue their investigations to this day.

Moving on to number 6 we have Britains Roswell.

Thats the nickname thats been given to a bizarre incident that took place in 1980 in Suffolk.

Locals in Rendlesham forest reported strange lights in the area.

At first people dismissed it but then even US military who were stationed there reported

seeing flying lights in the sky that lowered into the woods and sent cattle into a state

of frezny.

When they got to the spot where the lights appeared to land, they found only burn marks

on the ground.

One of the American officials who witnessed the event was Colonel Charles Halt.

He reported the sightings to the Ministry of Defence - when they didnt appear to make

any efforts to investigate, he accused both the US and UK of having agents cover up the

whole event.

To this day, no official explanation has been given for Britains Roswell.

Coming in at number 5 we have The Hairy Hands of Devon.

This one comes from the 1920s in Devon - a time when locals swore there were a roaming

pair of hairy hands in the area.

This is perhaps the strangest one on here.

Back then, there was a strange surge of fatal and serious crashes on a stretch of road that

travels through a desolate patch of Dartmoor.

Some of the crashes were fatal but from the survivors came a strange tale - many of them

said a pair of rough, hairy hands appeared out of nowhere, grabbed their steering wheel

and smashes their cars into a ditch.

Police investigated the road and found that it was a problem with its surface.

Others werent convinced and said theyd never had any problems with the road either before

or after the hairy hands incident - so what exactly happened?

Moving on to number 4 we have The Loch Ness Monster[e].

This has to make the cut.

Whether or not you believe an ancient reptilian creature lurks the waters of Loch Ness in

Scotland - there is still a lot of mystery surrounding its many sightings.

Going back over 1,400 years ago, Saint Columba was said to have rescued a man from suffering

a brutal attack from a water beast in the River Ness.

This story seemed to bubble under the surface for hundreds of years but in 1933, after a

number of sightings, people began to refer to the beast as The Loch Ness Monster.

In 1934, Robert Kenneth Wilson published a photograph of what people claimed to be proof

of Nessie - the picture showed a creature with dinosaur like features with a long neck

and a small head.

The picture was later found to be a hoax but the legend itself has never died down - becoming

an international phenomenon.

Like I said at the start, even if you don't think the Loch Ness Monster is real, all these

sightings over the years require some sort of explanation …

Moving on to number 3 we have Jill Dando[f].

In 1999, Jill Dando was a prime time TV journalist famous across the UK.

She was shot at after arriving home in Fullham, West London at 11:30 am on April 26th 1999.

She had just put her key in the lock when someone grabbed her from behind.

The killer held her with his right arm, forced her to the ground and fired a single gun shot

through her left temple in what police described as a professional style execution.

The following year, police arrested a Barry George who lived nearby to Jills house.

He was convicted and jailed for life but eventually won an appeal against conviction in 2007.

Since then, Police have been exploring a number of different leads including a jealous ex

boyfriend, eastern europe assassins, mistaken identity or perhaps the fact that she worked

on crimewatch - a show that exposed criminals to a national audience.

Either way, its been 19 years and counting but there are still shadows of doubt over

the case.

Moving on to number 2 now we have The Highgate Vampire[g].

This one comes from North London where Highgate Cemetery is said to have been been home to

an actual vampire during the 1960s - some of you may just dismiss that as an urban legend

but a vampire is perhaps the only explanation for this mystery, no matter how far fetched

it seems.

Back then, a group of young people who were interested in the occult began roaming the

overgrown cemetery.

On December 21st 1969, one of the group, David Farrant, spent the night there.

What happened on that night remained a mystery for 2 months - but David couldn't hold it

back any more.

On December 21st 1969, he wrote a letter to his local paper saying he had seen a supernatural

grey figure.

Other people began to speak up and say they had seen a figure too - a tall man wearing

a hat, a ghostly cyclics and a figure wading out into a pond.

There were too many sightings to dismiss.

A man called Sean Manchester put forward the theory that a King Vampire of the Undead was

practicing black magic there.

Some of you may dismiss that as ridiculous, but so far its the best theory for explaining

the mysterious sightings.

And finally at number 1 we have Jack the Ripper[h].

Some of you may have seen this coming a mile off.

Its a story that has become famous across the world.

From August to November 1888, a killer murdered and butchered at least 5 prostitutes in Londons

whitechapel area.

They were all killed with a cut to the throat and all had their abdomens mutilated - some

even had their internal organs removed.

The police recieved one letter claiming to be from the killer - he referred to himself

as Jack the Ripper and the name stuck with the public.

All police had to go on was the fact that due to the killers precise removal of organs,

he may have had surgical knowledge.

When the killings stopped, the police investigation eventually went cold - now the mystery is

left in the hand of modern day researchers, and many of them have their theories on the

rippers identity.

Alright, those were some mysteries produced by Britain - what country shall we look at

next?

I feel like America might be too easy - I could do that one next though if you want?

Also, I hope you guys are checking out our live stream marathons at the weekend where

we play some of our series for as long as you can watch them - keep an eye out for them,

thanks for watching as always, my name is Danny Burke and Ill see you all in the next

ON MANGE QUOI CE SOIR ? EP06 - Duration: 2:50.

Hello everyone and welcome in this new episode of On mange quoi ce soir?

This week I've decided to talk about the carott cake because

we are approaching Christmas and also because is a tradiotional cake from

United Kingdom and the United States and also because is more and more popular in France.

The use of carrots in a sweet cake preparation may seem a little

bit strange, however we use vegetables in the pastry since

the middle ages. According to historians we find the first written carrot cake recipes at this time.

Indeed, at that time the carrot cake was very popular pudding,

made with carrots, marrow, and rose flavored water and

covered with a puff pastry.

But let's back to the United Kingdom because that's where

the most popular version is coming from in.

Even if it's a pretty old recipe carrot cake really knew his

apogee during the WWII; indeed at that time the

rationing is unfortunately required and carrots become a

substitute of sugar Therefore it's more and more used

in the kitchen as well in pastry like his cousin the beetroot.

Beetroot that we find by the way in another very popular cake

in the United States: the red velvet cake

It's funny to notice that despite the huge amount of butter and oil

in this cake it was however considered as healthy food

due to the presence of vegetables. Note also that originally this cake had a very simple icing

with white eggs and icing sugar

but with his arrival in the United States and the great popularity he knew there

we found in recipes the favourite American food: the cream cheese

The advantage of the carrot cake is that it is very simple

to bake, also very fast with ingredients you can find everywhere and I

really recommend a carrot cake for Christmas because it's different than yule log

By the way, I did put the link of my recipe which has been tested and approved in the description of the video.

The procedure is quite simple: On a side you mix the eggs the oil and

sugar until it's well lathered On the other hand you mix

all the ingredients that are rather dry like flour, baking soda, and spices

and then in a third time you will add to this

mix, grated carrots, nuts, everything you found and everything fancy.

Important thing : do not beat too much

the preparation because we often want do it but that removes all

bubbles present in the dough and these bubbles bring both the

flavor and the mellow to the preparation.

Once everything is well incorporated do not not worry and everything will be fine.

I hope you enjoyed this new episode of On mange quoi ce soir ?

and see you soon

Betty H. Fairfax GSA: The 2018 GSA of the Year Award Honoree - Duration: 3:08.

Last year, we only had 23 members, and

to come back this year with

54 members, I was really excited and just really happy to see

the growth of our club because that really means that

we've made an impact on the community. I think that our GSA has created a safer space for those who

are not out yet

or have recently come out. I was very shy about my identity, and I was really not willing to

expose myself to the high school community. It all starts with the school campus and us being here.

You know like you'll get support from

your students, your classmates, your sponsor,

even if you're not out yet to your family. My friend Isabelle, Isa,

she's the President, and she reinstated it. And she wanted me to be there with her, so I came. And ever since then, I

just really love being in GSA and just seeing the growth of some people, like they come from being so shy and like

coming out and learning their

personalities and like being more comfortable with who they are. I think that really made them feel like

they have a place where they can go and they can speak and actually have a voice.

Our current GSA members are a microcosm of our entire student population.

They are students from every ethnic background, every socio-economic background,

in every club, sport you, name it.

They're in their sports or clubs, but they are members of GSA as well. Oh they're amazing. They're the most

welcoming and accepting and

kind people I've ever met.

They really make you feel like Fairfax isn't just a school; it's your home and these are your family members.

They really make sure that you're having a good day and that you are

happy and feeling the best that you can. You know we pushed an education about differentiation in

instruction, but there also has to be a differentiation in understanding a person, where the person's coming from, their

struggle, if they're having a struggle, with identity.

If they're comfortable with their identity to allow them to express who they are just like we allow them to express

who they are in their work

academically. Socially we need to allow that comfort for every single student to be able to be who they are and be okay

wherever they are, especially in school.

Never be afraid. Never be afraid to be who you are. And

always remember that GLSEN, GSA, and

everybody around you will love you and

give you support. No matter the day, no matter the night

you are loved.

This is how to fix the Democratic party | Riley J. Dennis - Duration: 4:55.

For a long time, Democrats have been trying to win elections by appealing to centrists,

to people who are undecided between voting for a Democrat or a Republican.

This has pushed the Democratic party to the center as they clamor for centrist votes.

Meanwhile, the Republican party has been moving further and further to the right, winning

elections by galvanizing the most far-right among them.

This has led the entirety of American politics to lean to the right.

Republicans win most of the elections, and then Democrats spend all their time trying

to play nice with the Republicans so that they can continue to win centrist votes and

not be seen as obstructionist.

Republicans get their way, enacting policies that harm marginalized groups, and Democrats

continue to lose.

There's a better way we can do things, though.

Democrats could go further to the left.

Right now, plenty of leftists are fed up with the Democratic party's centrism, and so

they don't vote at all or they vote for third parties.

Those are the people the Democrats need to go after, not the mythical centrist who consistently

fails to vote for Democrats.

Because the current way of looking at elections seems to assume the situation is like this:

There are people on the left who vote Democrat, people on the right who vote Republican, and

people in the middle who sometimes vote one way or the other.

You already have the people on the left, so you need to reach for the people in the center.

But that's not how it works.

That's not how any of this works.

In reality, millions of Americans don't even vote.

In the midterms this year, only about 49% of eligible voters actually voted.

In the 2016 election, only about 60% of eligible voters voted.

That's a huge pool of people to tap into.

And that means there's a fourth group you can reach for: the leftist non-voter.

Recent elections have shown us that that group can be a much greater asset for winning elections

than the centrist voter.

Plus, then we get more leftists in office, which is better for our country as a whole.

This year, leftist candidates beat out centrist incumbents all over the place.

There was a blue wave led in no small part by leftists.

A perfect example of this is Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, who beat out a centrist Democrat in the primaries

and then beat her Republican opposition in the midterms.

She's now headed to congress along with a bunch of other progressives all over the

country, not because she appealed to centrists, but because she appealed to leftist non-voters,

the ones who felt the centrist candidates didn't represent them.

So we need to stop trying to make the Democratic party appeal to centrists.

We tried that, and it didn't work.

For the last two years, Republicans have held the Presidency, the Senate, and the House.

And with Trump's new Supreme Court appointee, they essentially have control over the Supreme

Court as well.

The Democrats past strategy hasn't worked, not even a little bit.

So it's time to try something new.

And that means leaning much farther to the left.

Get leftist voters excited to vote for a Democrat.

Get some candidates running who are members of the DSA, the Democratic Socialists of America.

Engage people who haven't voted in elections because they felt like no one represented them.

There are millions of potential leftists voters out there, you just gotta make them care.

Give them a candidate they can really truly believe in who runs on actual leftist policies.

We've seen this working already in 2018, but even if you don't think it'll work,

you might as well give it a try, because what we've been doing so far has obviously not worked.

Like this isn't a full-proof plan for every area in the country, sometimes centrist candidates

are going to win out, but there's a hunger in way more places than you'd expect for

more leftist policies.

People are tired of being screwed over by a terrible health care system, having a minimum

wage so low they can't survive, and enduring nearly constant mass shootings.

It's time for a change, and that means running leftist candidates at the National, State,

and Local levels.

We need to care about every election going on because this isn't just a national problem.

If you're a leftist, consider running for a position at the State or City level, and

if running for office isn't your thing, get out and vote even in smaller elections.

Because those things really matter.

And the other part of this that we need to remember is that Republicans are incredibly

good at rigging the system in their favor.

Gerrymandering is a huge problem that can't always be overcome just by increasing voter turnout.

Voter ID laws and other forms of voter suppression put in place by Republicans tip the scales

even further.

Stacey Abrams lost the race for Governor of Georgia not because fewer people wanted to

vote for her but because of ridiculous levels of voter suppression by her opponent.

And the longer we let Republicans remain in charge, the harder it's going to be to take

back those seats because of the way they're implementing different forms of voter suppression.

The time to fight back with more leftist candidates is right now.

2018 had the highest midterm voter turnout in a hundred years.

People are sick of what the Republicans are doing.

We need to keep increasing voter turnout so that we can reverse their efforts at voter

suppression and put into place laws that will make it easier to vote, like automatic voter

registration, making voting day a national holiday, expanding early voting, and ensuring

that everyone has vote-by-mail as an option.

That's the only way to secure fair elections in the future, because right now, Republicans

are doing their best to make sure future elections are far from fair.

The move to the left from the Democratic Party is long overdue, and it can't wait any longer.

Anyway, that's all I had for you today.

Cómo Hacer tu propio GARAM MASALA muy fácil 😱 | Recetas Veganas | Veganamente - Duration: 2:43.

Hi, I'm Raquel and today in Veganamente I'm going to do Garam Masala.

The Garam Masala is a mixture of spices of Indian origin.

You have asked me many times, in the comments, where to get this spice

and as I know that a lot of people find it hard to find it, and it's very easy to do at home,

It occurred to me to record this video so you know how to do it.

To do it we are going to need

coriander,

cardamom, cumin,

cinnamon stick, paprika, ground nutmeg,

black peppercorns and cloves ... Oh, and some bay leaves.

We are putting all the spices in the grinder. We put the cumin,

cardamom, cinnamon,

paprika, nutmeg.

pepper, cloves and laurel

and we grind it.

It's done, we've already ground it, it has filled the kitchen with a wonderful smell of spices

We put it in a little glass jar

and we have it ready for every time we want to make a Dhal of lentils, chickpeas or some Indian stew.

Below, in video the description, I will leave you links to recipes in which the Garam Masala is used.

Veganízate!!

There is another way to make this recipe for the Garam Masala.

It's toasting the seeds lightly in a pan,

so that the odors are released, they are removed from the fire and left to cool.

The rest of the process is exactly the same. It is ground together and stored in a small jar.

Choose the one you like the most.

Below, in the description of the video, you will find the ingredients and quantities. But they are orientative,

you can vary them to your liking and make your own personal Garam Masala.

It is a recipe that will be very useful!

Thanks for stopping by my kitchen, leave me a like if you liked the recipe,

share with everyone, subscribe and see you in the next recipe. Bye!!

Tales from the Tower: True Stories of Life & Death from Real Lifeguards #4 - Duration: 0:51.

I was working the opening shift and this kid shows up

and says "I'm gonna drink the ocean"

and I'm like yeah, good luck

if I couldn't do it no one can

But before I can say a word she starts to

cram fistfuls of sand into her mouth

She's just gulping down fistfuls of beach dust

as fast as she can

Too fast to ever taste it and I'm like

Hey! What about the ocean?

and she just stared blankly at the ocean and said

"Wait do you mean wet world?"

and went back to eating sand

She got full after about an hour

I gave her some plain toast and flat ginger ale

to help with her upset tummy

but I still think about that kid every time I see

the giant hole she ate out of the beach

people often fall into it and hurt themselves

Smoking and Infertility - 5 Things You Didn't Know - Duration: 3:36.

Its no surprise that smoking causes infertility. What is surprising is how much impact it has.

I may have some good news at the end for you smokers

Stay tuned.

#1 Here's a message I got from my website: Dr. Morris why do you have so much information

about smoking? Nobody smokes anymore. Oh really? Even in 2018, about ⅓ of men and women of

reproductive age in the United States are smokers. Despite all the warnings and public

service announcements. One in three!

#2 Think cigarette smoke is only in the lungs? Think again. A recent study in IVF patients

found breakdown products of nicotine in 100% of the follicular fluids of infertility patients undergoing IVF.

The more they smoked, the higher the levels were found. In other words,

if you are a smoker, your eggs are soaking 24 hours a day in cigarette smoke breakdown products.

Even more alarming? In that same study, 84% of women who were non-smokers and whose partners

were non smokers, also had nicotine by-products in their follicular fluid.

In other words,, the people who smoke at your job are compromising your fertility!

#3 Smokers, you are going to run out eggs sooner.

Cigarette smoking has been shown to

accelerate the loss of eggs from the ovaries. One of the blood tests we use to measure how

many eggs are left is the hormone FSH. Higher FSH levels mean less eggs remain.

You commonly see this as women get older.

Guess what? Smokers have 66% higher FSH levels than non-smokers.

You are likely to go through menopause at an earlier age.-

#4 Smoking also affects IVF success. I know what you are thinking: I'll just do IVF.

Everybody gets pregnant with IVF right? Agreed, IVF is a very good treatment for most types

of infertility. However, smokers doing IVF needed higher doses of those expensive fertility

injections, but they still ended up with more cycles getting cancelled, less eggs when they

weren't getting cancelled, more cycles with failed fertilization and overall had a much lower

pregnancy rate.

#5 Fine Dr. Morris. You have succeeded in stressing me out, I'm never going to get

pregnant, I might as well just have another pack of cigarettes.

Wait! Stop!

I actually have some good news. Quitting smoking will improve your fertility.

In fact, ex-smokers have similar fertility to non-smokers.

OK. That's 5 things. For more information about smoking and fertility, go to my website

САМОДЕЛЬНАЯ ХИЩНАЯ БЛЕСНА.Уловистая блесна из трубки своими руками на судака,щуку,окуня - Duration: 7:10.

Hello everyone, I will show you how I make spinners to catch a predator

Sudak, perch and pike

For winter fishing

For this, I took two copper tubes

one 6 millimeters

second 10 mm

Размеры блесн будут 3.5 и 5 сантиметров

I make two slices, one for 30, the other for 45 degrees

In other videos, no one shows how to make these cuts, I do so

I took two lines, one with degrees, the second is simple

there is a center, 90 degrees

I attach this line to the top

and here 30

Fixed, finger

put to the butt

And I look from the top, so what would this line

90 degrees, was on the left side of the tube

I measure 3.5 centimeters

and also make a 45 degree cut

I make cuts towards this side and this side.

I have such blanks

I take the sandpaper 120 grit

start spinning sandals

I change to 240 grit

Now I polish with felt circle with GOI paste

Spinners polished

now I make holes

from this side, where 30 degrees

need to zernit

no easy task

about the center

it will be possible then to drill slightly to the left side

Drill bit i use 2.5 millimeter

In the drill, the drill clamped about a centimeter so that the drill would not lead or break

this is my normal came out

center hole

and here comes a little offset

Now I will fix with a larger diameter drill

Well, I drill

and do not throw away

she will then find the center herself

turned out so to speak a whistle for zander

EXPERIMENT: I decided to coat one zinc with zinc coating, then make brass

so galvanized out

so, now it's time to heat this thing

Now polish the felt circle, check the result

Guys i don't know the camera will give whether

look, the spinners are covered in a thin layer of brass

I think there should be a difference

turns zinc with copper, when heated gives brass

really very thin layer

well, for the first time

Well degrease the spinners and varnishing

I use this kind of varnish, it dries in 15 minutes

I will put in two layers

15-20 minutes dry up, then again

Here, where 45 degrees on the spoon, I hook the hook

hooked on a leash 10mm lure

so she is hanging

I got a bottle of 20 liters, now I'll check the spinners game

I understand that the density of the water is not the same, and all things ... but I will check it anyway

now she will break me a bottle

from she rushes to the side, now I will try even thinner minnow

picked up a small, winding ring, I did not cling here

just near the hook

check

it turns out when undermining the lure lies horizontally, then gently lowers

sometimes draws a figure eight

waiting for the first ice, we now have a slush

The weather is not flying, waiting for the ice

as soon as I will, I will immediately try the spinners

how I caught them will be in the description of the video, and in the intro of course

Guys who liked the video, put like

Subscribing to the channel, who is not subscribed, spinners will definitely catch

Bye Bye :)
