- Hey guys, Shawn again, Custom Offsets,
Customs Offsets TV on YouTube.
Got a vehicle spotlight for you today.
We got a 2008 Chevy Silverado 2500.
Things gonna be on eight inches of Krazy Kustomz lift
and it's gonna have some 20x12s.
Let's go.
♫ Mean trucks decked out
♫ Bullet to the wood and they're flexed out
♫ Rims so big and the windows black
♫ Got the light bar lit up, double chromed out stacks
♫ Yeah we let it get 'em dirty, but still they so clean
♫ Custom Offsets Team stands as a team
♫ We on top of it now, we ain't never gonna fade
♫ So you better get ready, we're taking over the game
(chill electronic music)
(engine revving)
- Hey guys, so this one's gonna be definitely different
from anything you've seen us bring to you before.
This is a totally different setup.
This is gonna be the eight-inch Krazy Kustomz lift.
And this one's gonna be a torsion drop.
So if you look you're gonna see the torsion bars,
hanging down here.
Because the way that this lift works,
is it pushes everything down.
So it's got the stock keys, it's got the stock control arms.
It uses all of the stock components
and it just pushes that entire axle down
using these different brackets and braces
in order to create that eight-inch lift
by bringing the frame of the truck up
and pushing your axles down.
And then you're gonna see it's got the dual Fox shock hoop.
And then in the rear I think he's got the Fox shocks too.
And then he's got add-a-leaf
and blocks to bring the rear end up.
It's a Silverado 2500 Duramax and that's an eight-inch lift.
So with that eight inches of lift you're gonna see,
he's got the 20x12, this is the XD820 grenade.
And this has got the machine finish on it,
you can see he's got some of the spiked lug nuts on there,
they're the shorty style.
So as far as the lip on that one,
it's a good six-inch lip,
probably 6 1/8 if I slid it in there,
but I'm not gonna slide my bill around on his wheels.
So that's a 20x12 negative 44 offset,
and then for tires he's running the Toyo Open Country MT,
and that's a 37, 13 1/2,
so because it's a 12 wide wheel and a 13 1/2,
you've have a little bit of the tire for protection
because you're an inch and a half wider on that tire itself.
So even with an eight-inch lift,
remember our Chevy wheel well is square,
we still had to go in here
and do a little bit of that NorCal and then the trimming
here and then trimming across the front.
Otherwise that definitely would've rubbed.
I don't know, it doesn't look like
he had to get into the bumper at all.
So at eight inches that 37, 13 1/2, 12 wide negative 44
does fit without getting into the bumper.
And that looks like it was minor on the back there.
So that's pretty much it for clearance.
Mario, if you want to look down the side of it
you can see he's out there quite a bit,
that's gonna be your four inches.
Or better, probably six inches on the front, of stance.
And this would be another one
where he could add spacers to the rear to bring
the rear of the truck out a little bit.
But it's not much so you could go either way.
You could leave it as is or have the rear out a little bit,
because otherwise you're gonna be trimming studs
if you try to go smaller than a two-inch spacer on the back.
So as far as up here you're gonna see
he's got an aftermarket grill.
Gonna be the cutout style so,
cut out the factory grill and you put that insert into it.
And then he's got the window visors,
looks like EGR, in-channel window visors.
And then he's got 20% tint to match.
Step tubes.
Go Rhino.
Chrome.
Which you'll need at eight inches lift or you'll be jumping.
And then he's got a tonneau cover,
he's got that all rolled up.
As far as exhaust, this one's gonna be a turbo back.
(engine revving)
Full exhaust system.
So she's gonna bark a little bit.
For a 2008, I mean, it's a cool truck.
It's got a lot going on.
Definitely getting there, it's been a big improvement
to add the eight-inch lift and wheels and tires to it.
And then as far as interior,
you'll see he's got the Katzkin seat cover,
seat replacements, so they remove the fabric
on something like that
and they replace it with the leather seats.
And then pretty much your expected dash.
Full crew cab, big ol' truck.
That is a 2008 Dirty-max,
Silverado 2500 on an eight-inch Krazy Kustomz
with some 20x12 XDs and some 37s.
Appreciate you guys checking us out
