Watch out!

Turn the boat!

And... turn!

And swim!

Go! Swim!

So.

You two will now stabilise the boat.

You [in the water] are now providing the counterweight for those climbing out.

Die most important rule is: save yourself first.

Then save your team, so the people next to you.

Should you capsize just 3 metres from the shore, you should still turn the boat,

so that nobody remains stuck under it.

To the catch!

And GO.

Top 10 Crazy "WHAT IF" Scenarios - Duration: 12:50.

Top 10 Crazy "WHAT IF" Scenarios

The universe is a vast and mysterious place, and there are so many scenarios where almost

anything can happen.

Have you ever considered what would happen if the Earth doubled in size?

Or what would happen if the supercontinent Pangaea never broke up?

Even if you haven't thought of those specific questions, these 'what if' scenarios show

how amazing and mind boggling the Earth and the universe can be.

10.

What Would Happen if Everyone Jumped at the Same Time and the Same Place?

In August 2012, The YouTube channel VSauce posed a question that many of us have probably

only considered if we're visiting Amsterdam or Colorado.

His question: what if we somehow gathered up all seven billion people on Earth, stood

shoulder-to-shoulder, and then at the same time, everyone jumped?

While the logistics of the project would be a nightmare, we actually wouldn't need that

much space; probably about the size of Los Angeles.

So when we all jumped a foot in the air, would we be strong enough to move the earth when

we landed?

Or cause an earthquake?

Amazingly, we'd actually be powerful enough to move the Earth.

However, we wouldn't notice.

It would only move 1/100 of the width of a single hydrogen atom and it wouldn't even

last, because the earth would bob back up again.

So in terms of world projects, let's scrap this one.

9.

What Would Happen if the Magnetic Poles Reversed?

One of the most feared Earthly events (that's bound to happen sometime in the future) is

the reversing of Earth's magnetic field.

That means that the North Pole will become the South Pole, and vice versa.

We should also point out that this reversal does not mean that the Earth itself will physically

turn over, just its magnetic poles.

That means if you're standing on the equator with a compass, Canada and Russia will be

on the top of the Earth, but the compass will say they are south, while Antarctica and Australia

will be on the bottom of the planet, but they will be north according to the compass.

We know that this flip will happen because it's already flipped several hundred times

in the history of Earth.

The last one happened 780,000 years ago.

That means the reversal could happen again at any time.

How will this affect the Earth and us humans who live on it?

One thing to remember is that it isn't like flipping a light switch.

Instead, it's a process that can take anywhere from 1,000 to 10,000 years.

So we won't experience flooding or earthquakes or anything like that.

When it does start to happen, one thing that we may have a problem with is a weakened electrical

field.

That field helps block radiation from the sun.

In the weakened field, this may punch holes in the ozone layer, which could increase skin

cancer.

Also, another major problem would be satellites.

They can be damaged by solar storms and a bombardment of solar radiation might be too

much for them to handle.

This could lead to disruptions with technologies that rely on satellites, like smart phones.

Either satellites will have to be developed to deal with the solar radiation, or we will

have to find alternatives.

8.

What Would Happen If You Fired a Gun in Space?

Modern guns and ammunition don't need oxygen to fire.

That means they will work in space.

If you did fire a gun in space, the smoke will come out of the barrel in a sphere.

The bullet will fly off forever because the universe is always expanding.

Well, unless it hits Sean Bean, which movies tell us is probably inevitable.

Meanwhile, you will be pushed backwards because of the kickback of the gun.

This would be bad news because unless you're tethered to something, you will simply float

away because there is no resistance to stop you.

You would simply continue to float until you died from lack of oxygen or dehydration.

It's also possible to shoot yourself in the back in space.

If you are in freefall near a planet and you shoot, the bullet can orbit around the planet,

and depending on where the kickback pushes you, it's possible for the bullet come back

and hit you in the back.

Finally, we never want to encourage suicide… however, if you happen to be on the moon with

a handgun and you need to shoot yourself in the back, get to the top of a lunar mountain,

fire a bullet that goes 3,560 miles per hour at the horizon… and then it could come back

and hit you in the back.

7.

What Would Happen if the Moon Disappeared?

In Despicable Me, the main character, Gru, plots

to steal the moon.

Sure, it's an ambitious plan, but would it really affect Earth if the moon disappeared?

One major thing we'd notice oceans is that tides won't be as strong.

The reason the moon impacts the tides comes down to Newtonian gravity.

When you're closer to something, gravity increases.

So when an ocean or loose earth is facing the moon, it essentially reaches towards the

moon and this draws water away from the shore.

However, the tides wouldn't completely disappear because the sun impacts them too.

Also, without the moon pushing the tides, the rotation of the Earth will slow down.

This, in turn, will make the days longer over thousands of years.

However, in the long run, the lack of a moon would become an even bigger problem because

the moon helps keep the Earth stable on its tilted axis.

The moon helps prevent gravitational forces from outside of the Earth, like from other

planets, from effecting Earth's tilt.

Without the moon, the Earth's tilt could vary by 85 degrees.

That means, without the moon, the Earth would change its tilt every few million years between

the sun rotating around the equator and rotating around the poles.

This would lead to dramatic shifts in climates.

6.

What Would've Happened if Pangaea Didn't Break Up?

About 300 million years ago, the supercontinent Pangaea formed from other continental units.

It started to break up about 175 million years ago and the continents slowly drifted to where

they are today, making it the last of the supercontinents.

However, what if it never broke up and it stayed a supercontinent?

Well, the bad news is that humans probably wouldn't have evolved.

A major driving force in developing new species from existing ones is geographical isolation.

When a species is isolated, it leads to new traits evolving because creatures experience

different selective pressures.

Another problem for species diversification is that most of the land on Earth would be

arid and hot because it would be centered on the equator, and moisture carrying clouds

would lose their moisture going inland.

This type of climate would be good for reptiles, but not so much for mammals.

5.

What Would Happen if the World Doubled in Size?

Let's say you went to bed and woke up the next morning, and suddenly the world had doubled

in size.

This includes doubling in mass, as well.

Providing your bed didn't collapse under you, the first thing you'll notice is that

you feel really heavy.

That's because the Earth's gravity would double as well, and that means everything

is twice as heavy.

That means you would have to start to walk around and do stuff while, in essence, wearing

a body suit made up of your own weight.

Depending on your size, your bones and joints would struggle with the weight.

Our hearts would also be in serious trouble because with more gravity, our extremities

would pool with blood.

In order to deal with the pooling, your blood pressure would have to double.

Eventually, humans would evolve and become stronger, especially in the lower half of

the body.

Our legs would become much stronger to support our weight.

Another big thing you'd notice is that tall trees would start to collapse because of the

weight, and they'd never grow again.

With twice the gravity, it would be harder to get water from the roots to the top of

the trees.

Instead, small trees might grow, or trees may never grow again.

4.

What Would've Happened if the Dinosaurs Didn't Go Extinct?

About 66 million years ago, 80 percent of life on Earth was wiped out.

This includes the dinosaurs.

There are several potential culprits in killing them off, such as a comet or an asteroid or

a supervolcano.

Or possibly Jeff Goldblum.

The point is, we can't be sure.

However, the Cretaceous-Paleocene extinction was most likely a combination event and the

death blow was a six-mile wide asteroid that hit the Earth in the Yucatán Peninsula in

Mexico.

This caused mass wildfires and a lot of ash and dust got into the atmosphere, which cooled

the planet and killed off a lot of the vegetation.

But what if that asteroid never hit Earth and the dinosaurs weren't killed in a massive

die off?

Well, according to Damian Nance, a professor of Geosciences at Ohio University, there's

a good chance they'd still be alive today.

After all, dinosaurs ruled the Earth for 160 million years before they were wiped out,

so unless there was another catastrophic event, like the rise of a dinosaur disease, there

is a good chance they would have carried on living at the top of Earth's food chain.

There's even some speculation based on the way dinosaur brains were evolving before the

extinction that if they had not died off, dinosaurs could have evolved to have "human-like"

intelligence.

As for humans in this alternate reality, there is a good chance they wouldn't have evolved.

Mammals did live alongside dinosaurs, but they filled in niches and never became bigger

than the size of rodents.

They only evolved in the wake of the death of the dinosaurs because there was more food,

less competition for it, and fewer mammal-eating predators.

3.

What Would Happen if the Sun Died?

If the sun were to stop working, it would take a while for it to cool down, similar

to putting something warm in the refrigerator.

The bad news is that we'd feel the impact within a week.

In 2015, the average temperature on Earth was 58.3 degrees Fahrenheit.

Well, within a week of the sun dying, the average temperature would drop to 0 degrees.

Then, within a year, average temperatures would drop to -100.

This would kill most plant life and the surface of the oceans would freeze.

However, it would take hundreds of thousands of years for them to freeze solid because

the surface ice would insulate the depths.

After several million years, our planet would be a constant, balmy temperature of -400 degrees.

As for what humans could do?

We could live in nuclear or geothermal habitats, or in submarines in the deepest parts of the

ocean.

Of course, food would become tough to come by because vegetation needs the sun to grow,

and on the surface, only large trees would survive more than a few years.

Finally, while the sun plays an important part in heating the Earth, it's also important

because it keeps us in orbit.

If the sun were to die off, the Earth, which would now be a ball of ice, would stop circling

and fly off into space.

2.

What Happened if You Jumped Into a Hole Drilled Through the Middle of the Earth?

We want to start this one off by saying that it would be impossible to actually make a

tunnel from one side of the Earth to the other.

However, in theory, if we could dig through the Earth and you jumped in, what would happen?

If you ignore the rotation of the earth and friction, and dropped into the hole, you would

start off at a speed of zero.

You'd pick up speed as you got closer to the center of the Earth, reaching speeds of

17,671 miles per hour.

However, once you pass the center of the Earth, you would decelerate, and by the time you

reached the hole on the other side of the Earth, you'd reach a speed of zero again,

and pop out of the hole.

The whole trip would take you 42 minutes, and hopefully you'd have a quip ready for

the people waiting on the other side, like "I must have taken a wrong turn at Albuquerque!"

Or something else.

We don't know.

You'd have time to think of a great line while plummeting through the planet, is what

we're saying.

1.

What Would Happen if You Fell Into a Black Hole?

Black holes are one of the most perplexing and intriguing mysteries of the universe.

Have you ever thought what would happen if you were to fall into one?

Well, it's one of those good news/bad news type of scenarios.

It will also be a much different experience for people who may happen to see you fall

into the black hole.

For people who watch you fall in, they would see you get closer to the event horizon (which

is the point of no return), and as you did, they would see you stretch and contort, and

then they would see you slow down.

Then you'd freeze, as if someone hit the pause button, and then they'd see you engulfed

by the heat of the event horizon and all you'd leave behind is ashes.

As for you, the first thing that would happen is that you'd be cloned, and the clone would

be incinerated.

That's the "you" that your fellow space travelers saw turn to ash.

However, you wouldn't know that you were cloned and as you passed the event horizon,

you wouldn't feel anything; you'd be in freefall because gravity wouldn't exist.

If you happen to fall into a small black hole, the bad news is that the force would stretch

you like a piece of spaghetti.

If it were a big black hole, like one that's millions of times the size of the sun, you'd

continue to freefall and beyond the event horizon, the laws of physics break down.

Time and space don't really exist and you'll continue to be pulled towards singularity,

which is a rupture in the space-time continuum.

It is at the center of the black hole where space becomes infinitely curved.

What happens there is anyone's guess.

It could be another dimension, another part of space, or even behind a bookcase in the

past.

this home decor idea I'll show you how to create this world map

wall art and how you can add a personal touch to it

The world map is in fact a sticker which is made up of different parts.

This makes it super easy to apply to your wall and to help know where to place it I

used the small world map as my guideline

If you want one you can purchase it in my webshop but hurry up since I only have a limited

amount left

If you see your country or where you live, write it down in the comments and represent

every time when I travel I tried to take polaroid pictures of the cool people I meet

because I meet so many

Before I would always talk about it now after I got my polaroid camera I decided to take pictures with them

and since they're from all over the world I thought it would be a cool idea to post those pictures on my world map

and to do that I'm using the poster budies from Pritt

it feels like a chewing gum that you can stick on the wall and it sticks there

and when you remove it, it doesn't damage the wall which is perfect for me

because from time to time I want to change it up

And this is the final look!

What do you think?

Actors Who Suffered Damage To Their Bodies During Filming - Duration: 9:44.

Actors have a pretty good gig, most of the time.

They get to travel the world, rub elbows with other A-listers, and live the kinds of luxurious

lifestyles most can only dream of.

But it's not all sunshine and roses — and sometimes a day at the office means some serious

bodily injuries for actors.

Norman Reedus

Daryl Dixon might have a reputation for being the biggest badass in the apocalypse, but

according to what Norman Reedus told People's Choice, that's not really him at all.

"If you throw a spider at me I'll probably just cry.

I mean, I'm kind of a wimp."

His difficulties in the bravado department aren't reflected in his dedication to making

it look good on screen, of course.

Reedus has managed to sustain an impressive list of injuries while filming The Walking

Dead.

Among them are a couple of black eyes, courtesy of his iconic crossbow, and a major gash on

his arm that came along while filming the show's fifth season.

While filming the scene where the survivors barricade a barn door to keep the walkers

out, he sliced his arm so badly that his costars said they saw it open, just before blood started

pouring out.

Not every injury has such a gnarly history though.

He also sliced his hand open on… a vending machine.

As he later joked to Entertainment Weekly, "Why am I always getting hurt?

I get hurt all the time.

I feel like I should have like football pads on at all times, even when I'm just walking

around."

And let's not forget about the ghastly gashes he's received from fan encounters.

He recounted one particularly dangerous fan interaction to Jimmy Kimmel:

"She kinda started to shake, like that.

And then she went up like this and sort of howled.

Then she came down and bit me on the breast."

Careful, Norman.

Kristin Chenoweth

Some projects seem to lend themselves to endangering their cast and crew more than others, but

The Good Wife isn't likely to be on anyone's list of potentially deadly shows.

actress Kristin Chenoweth came in with plans for a recurring role on the show.

But when a piece of the overhead lighting rig fell on her, she suffered a host of injuries

that forced her to leave the show and concentrate on her recovery and physical therapy.

"I'm standing there waiting for action.

I have a Blackberry, a phone for my character.

And…

I woke up in an ambulance."

Her list of injuries is nothing short of terrifying.

"I cracked my nose in two places and I cracked three teeth, and I had a five inch skull fracture.

And obviously, I re-injured my neck."

Over the next few years, Chenoweth found that more and more medical issues with her ribs

and hips developed.

And immediately after the accident, she even had difficulties putting sentences together,

and she has continued troubles with multi-tasking.

Rose Leslie

You might think appearing on Game of Thrones would be more dangerous than, say, working

on The Good Wife spin-off, The Good Fight.

But in the case of Rose Leslie, you'd be wrong.

The actress broke her toe filming on an episode of The Good Fight and had only herself to

blame for the incident.

She told E! Online of her injury,

"This was purely down to me.

This was my kind of like ignorance, in thinking that I could turn and pivot on a little dime.

Of course, when I attempted it on camera, I then completely whacked it into a table."

Lucy Lawless

In 1996, Lucy Lawless was on top of the world — and climbing to the top of the television

ratings, too, with Xena: Warrior Princess.

By the second season, cast and crew were put to the test when they were sent scrambling

to figure out a way to work around an injury so bad that Lawless wasn't just unable to

fight, she needed to learn how to walk again.

While filming a skit for The Tonight Show With Jay Leno, she fell off her horse and

fractured her pelvis in several places.

When she spoke with the LA Times in the March following the accident, she was already up,

walking, kicking, and ready to get back in the saddle.

While she credited a tough upbringing with teaching her how to fight and how not to cry,

she also said that the accident left its mark in more than just a physical way.

She said,

"I'm ready to get back on the horse.

There's no medical reason why I can't.

It's just psychological now.

[...] but I can't not do everything, so I'm going to get back on that horse.

It's important for me to give myself that challenge.

Otherwise, I'm forever going to be frightened."

Halle Berry

In 2003, Oscar winner Halle Berry suffered an injury that shut down production on her

film Gothika for a week.

Her arm broke while filming a traditional, non-stunt scene.

According to the Warner Bros. statement on the accident, it was simply that, well, "Her

arm didn't go the way it was supposed to."

In 2012, though, The Movie Network talked to a source that suggested there was more

to it than that.

Apparently, Berry hadn't forgiven Robert Downey Jr., the actor who had been holding onto her,

when her arm broke.

According to their source, she felt that he hadn't sufficiently apologized for the incident

— which he said was a complete accident — and still tends to avoid him.

Talk about a tough break.

Bruce Campbell

There are few films that capture the heart of a cult classic quite like Evil Dead.

While watching, it's impossible to forget that the entire thing was essentially created

by a group of friends just goofing around and having a good time.

There's a long standing rumor that Bruce Campbell actually had his jaw broken while filming

the original movie, and according to him, it's absolutely not true.

He told the crowd at Dallas Comic Con, quote, "I love the fact that people still believe

that."

He was, however, actually harmed during filming of the TV spin-off Ash vs. Evil Dead.

He told Entertainment Weekly that, just before the season finale debuted, he had blown out

his hamstring two weeks before shooting wrapped.

He said,

"If you've ever blown a hamstring, you know they call it hamstrung for a reason.

You can't walk.

So, to do fight scenes for two weeks when you can't walk — now you're living the dream!"

"There must be some spell I can say to undo all this.

The other first thing I gotta do, is some cardio.

Because my heart is jackhammering like a quarterback on prom night."

Ellen Burstyn

1973's The Exorcist is still a legendary horror favorite, and for good reason.

It was ground-breakingly gory, and Ellen Burstyn's pained performance as the mom of demon-possessed

Regan was incredibly memorable.

Especially for Burstyn herself.

For a scene where Burstyn was to be thrown against a wall, she was equipped with a harness

and rig that was supposed to yank her off her feet.

After getting one take, Burstyn says she not only protested the idea of doing another one,

but insisted she was going to get hurt.

When she went to the director to tell him she wasn't comfortable doing it again, he

told her they'd go easy on her.

When she turned away, though, Friedkin reportedly told the stuntman on the other end of her

harness to "Give it to her this time."

"I screamed in horrendous pain.

Billy motioned for Owen to tilt the camera down on me."

The pain on her face in that scene is real, and the ambulance was called after the cameras

stopped rolling.

Unsurprisingly, Burstyn was furious that the crew finished filming her reaction shot before

calling her paramedics.

Tippi Hedren and Melanie Griffith

During the filming of the 1981 movie Roar, there were a litany of injuries caused by

its supporting cast of 132 animals, including lions, tigers, and a 10,000-pound elephant.

A whopping 72 people were injured on the set, including star Tippi Hedren, who first rose

to fame in Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds.

By the end of shooting, she had suffered a broken leg that had been crushed by the elephant

and went gangrenous, as well as scalp wounds.

Additionally, her daughter, Melanie Griffith, was mauled so badly that she needed facial

reconstruction surgery to fix the damage.

After that experience, it's no wonder movies like Life of Pi relied on some CGI to make

their human-tiger interactions happen on-screen.

Vincent D'Onofrio

Sometimes, actors will go to extremes for a role.

And Vincent D'Onofrio has turned extremes into an art form.

After being cast in Full Metal Jacket, he rushed to gain 70 pounds for the part of the

portly Private Pyle.

"What is that, Private Pyle?!"

"Sir!

A jelly donut, sir!"

"A jelly donut?!"

"Sir, yes sir!"

Going from fit and athletic to putting on that much weight in that amount of time did

some damage.

In a 1987 New York Times interview, he revealed just what it did to him.

The change was so drastic that he found himself having trouble doing even the most mundane

of tasks, like tying his shoes.

When it came to shooting the scenes where the Marine recruits were going through boot

camp, it was as physically grueling in real life as it looked on screen.

During the filming of one of the obstacle courses, D'Onofrio blew his knee out so badly

he needed to have surgical reconstruction done.

A year later, though, he was back to running six miles a day.

Charlize Theron

Long before she became an Oscar winner, Charlize Theron was still known for her work in the

action genre.

On the set of her film Aeon Flux, she was injured so badly that she came close to paralysis.

During a backflip stunt, which she had to do while wearing platform shoes, she slipped,

fell, and landed on her neck.

The fall herniated a disc near her spinal cord, and production stopped for eight weeks.

Originally, doctors had suspected she might be at least partially paralyzed.

While she was back at work surprisingly quickly, she later said she'd learned a valuable lesson.

She said,

"Now I know there's a time and a place.

You have to be smart about it and I've definitely come to a place in my career where I would

be the first to say, without feeling guilty or not badass enough, 'You know what?

I don't need to do this.'

It's wise because I felt guilty for shutting down production 10 days into shooting for

eight weeks."

Erik Estrada

Chips star Erik Estrada has his long-lived buddy cop series to thank for both his international

fame and a near-death incident on the set.

While filming the show in 1979, Estrada was filming a ride-around scene that was slow

and nothing like the high-speed chases the show was known for.

But Estrada crashed, and was sent to the UCLA Medical Center with fractured ribs and possible

damage to his heart.

Not only had he crashed the 500-pound motorcycle he'd been riding, but he'd been hit by the

car they were supposed to be going around.

The final injury toll was a broken breastbone, a few broken ribs, and a broken wrist.

Luckily, he survived the incident, and according to him, that was an absolute choice on his

part — he later claimed to have had an out-of-body experience.

"I think maybe I was grabbed by my guardian angel and I was given a choice if I wanted

to stay or get back in the body."

Jim Caviezel

When Jim Caviezel auditioned for Mel Gibson's The Passion of the Christ, he actually thought

he was up for a part in a surfing movie.

But rather than carting a surfboard around a sunny set, he ended up carrying a cross

— and enduring a few harrowing injuries during his performance as Jesus in his final

days.

The role required being on the receiving end of some very brutal beatings and torture scenes.

Along the way, Caviezel came down with some frightening injuries.

He suffered a lung infection, pneumonia, a skin infection and headaches from the makeup,

a brush with hypothermia, and a dislocated shoulder.

Not only that, but he also had a brush with the wrath of God — well, sort of.

He was actually struck by lightning during the shoot.

Wonder what could've brought that on...

"I hope to be struck by… well, let's put it another way."

Well I can see you there layin' on the street. By the smell of the death down at your feet. Oh Lordy, Lordy open up the door.

I can see that look into your eyes All I see is the yellow of disease and a smile of disguise, of disguise. Oh Lordy, Lordy open up the door.

You say you got that their monkey on your back. By the looks of your body my friend, I'd say your runnin' out of track. Out of track.

Oh Lordy, Lordy open up the door. Oh Lordy, Lordy let the love light shine. Let It Shine.

Why don't you take my hand my friend? We will go to the promised land. Go on and take my hand, we will go to a place where the eagles land.

Oh Lordy, Lordy open up the door. Oh Lordy, Lordy let the love light shine. Let It Shine. Let It Shine. Let It Shine.
