Youtube daily report Apr 15 2017

The plate boundary is expressed

through New Zealand by a myriad of active fault lines.

So active faults are a natural hazard

that we need to understand.

If you want to investigate any active fault in New Zealand,

the active fault database allows you

to look at that fault in detail.

So here's a map of New Zealand, let's have a look at the Wellington fault.

We can zoom right in and give you a

general location of where that fault line runs.

We can also click on the fault

and find out some more information about it.

There's the fault sense, the type of fault it is;

The recurrence interval which is how often it has earthquakes;

The last event which is when the last

large earthquake happened on this fault;

The slip rate which is the long-term

rate of movement along that fault,

and the single event displacement which is a measure

of how much the fault is likely to move

in the next earthquake

we also have a series of

photographs here and a list of

publications that have been written

about each fog we have actually provided

a new download facility that will allow

you to download the app default database

in a Google Earth format or a GIS format

or other spatial formats

The Story Of Cizeta V16T (part 2) - Duration: 6:10.

The prototype of the car was unveiled in December 1988 in Century City and then shown at the

L.A. Auto Show followed by the Geneva Auto Show.

The reception was amazing, the media was clambering to get a glimpse of the world's first V16

transverse engine which was on display in a glass case next to the prototype.

Thinks were looking good for the new Modena based company.

People were interesting to buy the new beast, from 167 people that attendant the show, 14

of them put a $100,000 deposit down to get one of their own.

Zampolli was ecstatic at having made $1.4 million in one weekend, but even more thrilled

to have the chance to build his dream car

The downfall of Cizeta started immediately after the Moroder learned that would take

2 or 3 years to start the production of the car.

Moroder started looking for ways to make the Cizeta cheaper and faster.

Without the knowledge of Zampoli Moroder went to Germany to speak to a Porsche designer

about making the Cizeta with fiberglass instead of aluminum Moroder was also considering replacing

the V16 engine with a BMW engine.

Zampoli didn't approve any of the Moreder ideas he said "Fiberglass is like paper

to metal, and the engine I built is a jewel in a crown.

Nobody else has a 16 cylinder transverse engine configuration, and to change this would be

to make it into an entirely different car".

Moroder and Zampoli agreed on the terms of a split, giving Moroder the Cizeta prototype

and Zampolli 100% ownership of Cizeta.

Since Moroder was out of the deal the brand would lost the Moroder name and would be called

Cizeta Automobili.

Zampoli started working on the 14 cars that he had already sold.

Even though Cizeta wasn't street legal in America Zampoli was focused on European and

Japanese market which had shown a lot of interest about his car.

The process was slow since everything was made by hand.

With his small team Zampoli managed to finish 9 out of 14 cars.

Things were looking good But Zampoli would run out of money the workshops of Modena would

not agree to make business with him.

In September of 1994 the City of Modena filed bankruptcy for Cizeta Automobili.

Cover of "Only Happy When It Rains" by Garbage - Corinne Crimson (Acoustic Version W/ Lyrics Chords) - Duration: 2:28.

Hey, I'm Corinne Crimson, coming to you from Seattle, Washington

And of course it's raining, and it inspired me to play this song by Garbage called Only Happy When It Rains

I'm only happy when it rains I'm only happy when it's complicated

And though I know you can't appreciate it I'm only happy when it rains

You know I love it when the news is bad Why it feels so good to feel so sad? I'm Only Happy When It Rains

Pour your misery down Pour your misery down on me

Pour your misery down Pour your misery down on me

I'm only happy when it rains I feel good when things are goin' wrong

I only listen to the sad, sad songs I'm only happy when it rains

I only smile in the dark My only comfort is the night gone black

I didn't accidentally tell you that I'm only happy when it rains

You'll get the message by the time I'm through When I complain about me and you I'm Only Happy When It Rains

Pour your misery down Pour your misery down on me

Pour your misery down You can keep me company As long as you don't care

I'm only happy when it rains You wanna hear about my new obsession?

I'm riding high upon a deep depression I'm only happy when it rains

Ep. 29 From Barossa to Nullarbor - Everywhere Together - Duration: 12:01.

We just arrived to Bordertown, which is famour for their white kangoroos.

They are there!

We have arrived to Barossa Valley Wine Region, and we just came out from the info centre.

and got some information of what to look.

There are a couple of very nice lookouts and sculpture parks that we should visit.

And also we selected two vineries, vinyards.

There's also a Whispering Wall where you can whisper.

This is Lou Miranda Estate, our first spot for tasting.

We are at the Barossa Reservoir Dam, which was South Australia's first dam.

The shape of the dam is supposed to be a great whispering wall.

So, we're gonna test the theory, and see if we can hear Peter from the other side.

Shall I go over? Yeah!

Tell me what do you see from that side?

I can see you and the car park!

Can you wave your hand?

Can't see you! Jump up and down!

Pretty cool! Did you see that?

Yeah!

We arrived to Springton.

There is the Herbig family tree.

Apparently, people used to live in the tree.

It's quite big!

Quite spacious! It's bigger than our Troopy!

So, here in Springton,

the Herbig family tree was the home of Friedrich Herbig,

who arrived here in 1855,

and he lived here with his wife and 16 children.

It's pretty interesting setup.

We are just arriving to Turkey Flat Vinery.

Our second spot, and also probably our lunch spot.

We chose the white wine, it was very, very good, very tasteful.

Jenga! Jenga time!

Tasting number 3!

Artisans of Barossa!

There are 6 different vineries providing tastings at this spot.

We are in Iron Knob now, and heading to Gawler Ranges.

And just did a Google Maps estimate and it shows we would have to go around.

But we found a very small, unsealed road and we are taking that.

I hope we will find some interesting stuff there.

As the sign says, about 1592 million years ago,

there was a volcanic activity here, and that's why the ranges have this redish colour.

Now, let's go closer and see those pipes!

Good morning! Good morning!

We got up just now,

and we see the Pildappa Rock next to the car.

It's really-really close. Look at it!

If you see tha straightish line behind Peter,

that's a snake trace,

that wasn't here yesterday evening.

It must have gone somewhere there.

What is there?

Crater!

Oh, with a bit of water!

So, in the last few days, we left from Port Augusta,

drove down to Iron Knob, to the track here,

came through the Gawler Ranges,

and now we are up in Ceduna,

and from here, we head west, straight through the Nullarbor.

Now, we are heading off to the Nullarbor,

just filling up the tanks one more time,

and the next stop is

the Windmill Museum.

Wohoo, water!

Just stopped at Nullarbor Roadhouse, we have a quick lunch,

and then we are off continueing our trip.

Yeah, where are we going?

We are going west to Koondala.

We'll see!

The section here is called the Great Australian Bight.

And it is believed to be the longest line of sea cliffs in the world.

So, that's why it's so special.

We are just driving in to Koonalda Homestead for our camping spot for the night.

The road has been rocky for a while, and now it's dirt road.

We should be there soon!

Interesting!

We can go inside and check how they lived here.

Small bed.

Another bedroom probably.

Huge house!

Oh, this is the bathroom!

Looks good!

The kitchen.

One more person.

It's gonna be a full house today!

Let's setup then!
