Many do not know that Lazy cabbage rolls are prepared much easier than usual cabbage rolls.
This does not affect the taste. They turn out the same delicious.
Let's cook them in the oven today.
For the recipe, take: 250g ground beef, 1.5 cup cooked rice,
ground peppercorns and salt to taste, 3 cloves garlic,
1 egg, 2 tbsps sour cream, 1 carrot, 1 bulb onion,
1 cup tomato juice for gravy (it can be replaced with tomato paste with water).
Take 250g of cabbage.
Chop it into small pieces.
Dip the cabbage into boiling water.
Leave for 15 minutes.
Chop the onion finely.
Fry the onions in vegetable oil.
Grate the carrots.
Stir in carrots.
Cook on low heat, stirring occasionally, not to burn the vegetables.
Ñook until vegetables are tender.
Drain the water using a colander.
Let's drain off excess water.
Carrots and onions are already cooked.
The onions became light golden, transparent.
The carrots has become tender. Turn off the heat.
Leave it to cool down.
Put the ground beef into a large bowl.
Rice.
Cabbage.
Half mixture of onions with carrots.
Leave the second half for the decoration.
Turn out so much.
Add an egg.
Garlic.
It can be finely chopped or crushed with a garlic press.
Add the ground peppercorns and salt to taste.
Mix everything well.
Make a patty shape.
Chose a size according to your taste.
Coat the patties with bread crumb mixture or wheat flour.
Place it into a baking dish.
I use a lasagna pan.
I made 10 patties.
Making the gravy.
Take the tomato juice.
Add a little salt.
Sour cream.
Without peppercorns.
Mix well.
Pour in the gravy.
Top with onions and carrots.
Bake the cabbage rolls in a preheated 180`C / 360`F oven for 1 hour.
The lazy cabbage rolls are ready.
Turn off the heat.
Remove them from the oven.
Serve hot cabbage rolls immediately.
I like them with sour cream.
