Good morning, everyone! And welcome back to my channel
Today, I have a beauty review - a monthly beauty review. Let's start with Skincare!
First, we have Huxley's cleansing gel. I've been obsessed with this brand because their products are formulated
with cactus which is packed with antioxidants. I love how this cleanser
thoroughly removes my makeup and it's super satisfying to use because it smells like a garden.
Huxley is great for all skin types and I'd rate this product 5/5 for being such a quality cleanser.
Another cleanser I've been going back and forth with is Glow Recipe's newest creation, the Blueberry Bounce Gentle Cleanser.
Blueberries are also packed with antioxidants. And I learned this when I was struggling with acne in college
and replaced all my unhealthy snacks with antioxidant foods such as Blueberries!
I went a bit off tangent there, but this cleanser removes my makeup and It also works as a gentle exfoliator.
I also rate this product 5/5. I know my friends at Glow Recipe worked really hard on this and
it truly is amazing!
Nooni Advanced Repair Therapy Radiance Turnover Peel Pads
are supposed to remove dead skin cells and help brighten
up your skin tone they say these pads are soaked in natural spa water, but it
felt a bit stingy for me. I tried to love this product, but after a week of using
them I had to switch back to my cosrx pad mainly because I felt like my skin was getting irritated.
I'll rate this two out of five since it is a convenient product to use
and it might have just felt irritating for my skin type which his dry and acne prone
Thanks to a subscriber, I got to try Caudalie's Beauty Elixir.
I've been wanting to try this because it has been in many what's in my bag videos on youtube
The moment I sprayed this, I felt a cool minty sensation and noticed an immediate glow.
5/5 since it's a quality mist that freshens up your makeup.
I can totally understand why they are a cult favorite and I also really like the scent.
Huxley is expensive, but I like to justify the price since the products work great for my sensitive skin.
However, this is the only Huxley product that I don't think is worth the money…
It's not that it irritated or broke me out, but it just felt more like a toner rather than an essence.
Yeah, it was hydrating, but since I tone my face 3-5 times, I didn't find this product necessary.
Since this essence is formulated with quality ingredients,
I might like it in the future, but for my current skincare routine, I'd rate this product 3/5.
There are many misconceptions about face oils. I used to get scared thinking that itll break me out.
However, I've found many great oils that helped out with my skin type.
And Huxley's Light and More Oil would have to be one of my top picks.
It's one of those lightweight oils that seamlessly absorbs into the skin and keeps it looking healthy and NOT greasy.
Sometimes, I like to use this product after my toner and end with a 2 step skincare routine.
I love this oil and would rate this product 5/5.
Cosrx Triple C Lightening Liquid is only available on Sokoglam.com
I first learned about the benefits of vitamin c from the Klog and found it very effective for fading my acne scars.
The new cosrx triple c lightening liquid is highly concentrated so you can start by mixing
it with a moisturiser and I noticed a brighter complexion the next morning.
I rate this product 4/5 only because I do have to keep it in the refridgerator to keep it fresh and delay oxidation. And for that reason, I often forget about using it.
Many of you have been waiting for a Pyunkangyul review from me. I recently shared that I didn't like their moisturiser.
However, this ampoule would probably be my favorite from the brand
mainly because it really reminds me of Troiarueke's hydro essence. I learned that
pyunkangyul is a medicinal brand that never uses harmful ingredients (again, similar to Troiareuke)
This ampoule has a rich and thick consistency yet
absorbs into the skin smoothly, leaving a bouncy texture. I rate this product
5/5 for quality and the friendly price!
Pyunkangyul's Balancing Gel is a very sticky product.
It reminded me of the J.One jelly pack because I had to gently pat it onto my skin.
I'm not a fan of the lumpy feeling, but once it absorbs into the skin, I felt like my skin was protected from all the pollution by an invisible layer.
I rate this product 3/5 because compared to the jone jelly pack it takes longer for the product to absorb.
Moonshot is one of my favorite Korean brands because it's a cosmetic brand by YG Entertainment.
I finally got to try their face perfection balm cushion (aka: the black pink cushion)
I've done a review on this, but if you are too lazy to watch,
In summary, I have to say it is one of my favorite cushions because it provides full and flawless coverage.
I love how it gives my skin a healthy glow. 5/5!
Identical to the moonshot cushion, we have the 3CE Mesh foundation. This one only comes in two shades (mine is in #2)
I love how lightweight and full-coverage this one is as well so this is also 5/5.
Id say the main difference between the moonshot and 3ce is the packaging because they're also both $29.
I saw so many ads on this DIY palette. The concept of this is super fun because the makeup comes in magnets, you can change them up from time to time.
The quality? It's not bad. I've definitely tried better eyeshadows, highlighters, and contour, but I think innisfree improved their makeup.
Because it's super convenient for travel, I'd rate this 4/5.
But when I'm home, I'd give it a 3/5 because I never end up using it — I have better makeup.
Just like you, I HATE washing my makeup brushes, but Apieu's "No Dirty Brush Cleansing Soap" kinda makes it very convenient.
Inside the case is a small cleaning mat and soap so you can quickly get the job done.
very convenient five out of five!
I discovered Ouai's hair oil at a Sephora in Malaysia earlier this year.
The hotel I was staying at had terrible shampoo and conditioner that dried out my hair. So I was in desperate need of a hair treatment.
I immediately fell in love after sampling this because it smells SO good and made my hair feel super soft. 5/5!
The final product is Vodana's hair curler. I was very excited about this because I saw many Korean youtubers rave about this.
However, I am not a fan of these clips + this wand was just WAY too thick for my hair length.
I tried to make it work, but I was disappointed because the curls didn't last all day.
I hope you guys found this video helpful. I had a lot of fun testing out these new products. And if you are curious on where you
can purchase it I'll be linking that information in the description box as
well as where you can find it in Korea because every time I upload one of these
so many of you guys asked "where can you buy it in Korea?" or "which stores carry it?"
so I'll try my best to be as informative as I can.
And I'll see you guys in my next video! Bye~
you
