HUMANITY 2.0 THE UNSTOPPABILITY OF SINGULARITY

BY CHRISTINE HORNERJUNE

Would it shock you to know that by reading this article, you are presently interfacing

with artificial intelligence to enhance personal cognitive brain function?

Lets be clear: Technology is a form of external artificial intelligence or AI.

That ship has sailed.

The merging of mind and machine has already begun with cochlear and retinal implants,

coming neural implants, and gene editing. TWEET THIS

As science pushes forward in its quest to upgrade the human experience, what will it

mean for human consciousness and for you?

Self-Actualization, the pinnacle of Maslows five-level human needs pyramid, is close at

hand for a larger segment of the population than ever before.

Basic needs met, you have the ability to move far beyond survivalism toward discovering

your inner genius, thus reaching your highest potential as a human being.

Yet, lurking somewhere in the darkness, the fear persists that artificial intelligence

will surpass human intelligence in an AI arms race, as publicly warned by Elon Musk, Dr.

Stephen Hawking, and Bill Gates.

Darkness Before the Dawn

Lets first look at how technology has played a part in advancing the evolution of human

consciousness.

Try to imagine going back to a world without a www in front of it.

Even if youre old enough, its difficult: the 5 a.m. thud of the local newspaper hitting

the pavement outside your window; teaching for an encyclopedia that hadnt been appended

since the current editions printing a decade earlier; waiting until 6 p.m. for world news;

community gossip.

It was a small, small, world after all but only in the last half century.

Previously, it was much smaller.

Access to external stimuli (i.e. education, ideas, and information) was a lot more precarious.

Additionally, cultural and religious conditioning did a bang-up job of programming you to take

your lumps and like em.

There was little to no incentive to change the status quo.

You were highly likely to be born, live, and die similarly to the way your parents did.

Innovation, rebellion, and revolution came at a steep price for those who dared buck

society and its institutions even from the inside.

Though things have improved slightly.

Hence, except for a handful of time-honoured geniuses ahead of the curve willing to take

the blows for the rest of us, the collective evolution of human consciousness was tedious,

cumbersome, and SLOW.

Then came August 6th, 1991: The world wide web became publicly available without fanfare

by global media.

English CERN scientist Tim Berners-Lee had developed the first web browser computer program

in response to his desire to make it easier for scientists around the world to share information,

thus ushering in the Information Age.

(It should be noted that before then, an Internet of networked computers existed originating

with the U.S. federal government back in the 1960s to link supercomputers in the event

one was destroyed in a nuclear blast also for communications/storage the data made

safe through redundancy.)

What Is Consciousness?

Before we fast forward to today, lets establish a simplified definition of consciousness as

self-awareness.

In reality, scientists are still attempting to quantify the unquantifiable previously

contemplated throughout the last millennia by philosophers such as Plato, Socrates, Thomas

Aquinas, Bertrand Russell, Einstein, and many more.

Research is struggling to move beyond theory to answer rudimentary questions such as whether

consciousness originates within the brain, or if the brain acts like a receiver that

processes non-physical signals.

A Harvard team of researchers think theyve pinpointed the network of brainstem regions

that are the physical source of consciousness.

Whether its the origin of consciousness remains unanswered.

Dr. Lucien Hardy from the Perimeter Institute in Ontario, Canada, recently proposed a quantum

entanglement experiment to determine if consciousness is local or non-local that could even throw

previous interpretations of quantum mechanics and free will into question.

Its complicated!

What we do know is consciousness is the individuated subjective experience.

I (subject) see an (object); therefore, I know I exist.

Theoretical physicist Dr. Michio Kaku sums up consciousness as the process of creating

multiple feedback loops to create a model of yourself in space with regard to others,

and in time.

In the linked video, Dr. Kaku goes on to state he believes beings embody varying levels of

consciousness similar to what Eastern traditions call levels of sentience.

(Interesting Note: In 2014, I met Dr. Kaku at a book signing at Wright State University.

I gave him a copy of my book, What Is God?

Rolling Back the Veil, explaining sentience and levels.)

Dr. Michio Kaku, book What Is God?

Rolling Back the Veil

Feedback loop: Think back to those old dusty Britannicas sitting in your parents basement.

Human consciousness drafted their content that went on to inform human consciousness

as a feedback loop.

Consciousness was recognized in 1918 by Nobel Prize winner and one of the founding fathers

of Quantum Theory, Max Planck, as fundamental to all aspects of life: I regard matter

as derivative from consciousness . . . Everything that we talk about, everything that we regard

as existing postulates consciousness.

In other words, Planck is stating his yet-unproven belief that feedback loops exist within nature.

Matter is derived from consciousness recycling back to consciousness.

A modern-day pioneer in the field of unified physics is Nassim Haramein, Director of Research

at the Resonance Science Foundation, where he leads a team of physicists, mathematicians,

and engineers.

He says: Everything emerges and returns to a fundamental field of information that

connects us all.

Again, information is a form or byproduct of consciousness; consciousness is information.

That all life is inseparable and interdependent will be one of the most important revelations

in modern physics.

Man and Machine

At this years SXSW Conference in Austin, Texas, Ray Kurzweil, Google Director of Engineering

and futurist boasting an 86% prediction accuracy rate, forecast: 2029 is the consistent

date I have predicted for when an AI will pass a valid Turing test and therefore achieve

human levels of intelligence.

I have set the date 2045 for the Singularity which is when we will multiply our effective

intelligence a billion fold by merging with the intelligence we have created.

(The Turing Test, developed by Alan Turing in 1950, is when machines can exhibit intelligent

behaviour indistinguishable from human behaviour.

Technological Singularity is when AI results in exponential runaway superintelligence that

would continue to exponentially upgrade itself.

Becoming self-aware, it could possibly render humanity obsolete.)

Knowledge is just one byproduct of many feedback loops that run the gamut of the five physical

senses, or sentience, that make us human.

We might begin to call feedback loops dimensions.

Socrates knew well that knowledge alone becomes a limitation.

This is key.

In the same way you look in a mirror and see a living, breathing copy of you, the mirror

is only a two-dimensional representation of the you that occupies the 11 dimensions theorized

by Dr. Kaku.

Buddhists also recognize a sixth sense the subjective experience of the mind.

Doesnt it reason that the sixth sense also arises as a byproduct (along with knowledge)

of the combination of the first five senses?

Now were getting into the fractal, multi-dimensional nature of Creation.

Chemical processes in the mind/body feedback loop then create feelings in the body, and

so on.

If the Universe is indeed unified, then human senses continue beyond six into the sublime

and yet undetectable.

Do you see the complex layering of feedback loops/dimensions and processes involved?

Technology/AI are tools that can enhance consciousness, aiding in its evolution, but represent only

a fractional part of the whole.

If the question for our times is, when does technology (AI) become self-aware and surpass

biology (human beings) in delivering Singularity as a constant, the answer is, AI can only

mimic a partial experience.

New Origin of Species Event

If all life is One, there is no line of demarcation where consciousness begins and where consciousness

ends.

Consciousness endures, and like the Universe, it expands and evolves.

A human being is a part of the whole called by us universe, a part limited in time and

space.

He experiences himself, his thoughts and feeling as something separated from the rest, a kind

of optical delusion of his consciousness.

? Albert Einstein

So far, weve mostly explored consciousness and its evolution via external forces from

the perspective of separation consciousness.

When you experience yourself as separate from the rest of life, you experience death

in the physical world.

The greater shock may be that Singularity has already been occurring throughout history

without the aid of technology. TWEET THIS

What happens when we explore consciousness by tapping into our internal world as taught

by the Masters, accessing unseen forces or higher dimensions of consciousness?

What the Masters knew and todays awakening collective mass is realizing comes from

a sense (level of consciousness/dimension) no machine will ever experience.

Recognizing the oneness of the Cosmo, your personal experience miraculously transfigures

into one where you transcend death for eternal life as extolled by Jesus, Buddha, Krishna,

Yogananda, Maharshi, and many others.

Spontaneous evolution is the transmutation of separation consciousness to unity consciousness.

Aided by technology or not, the self-realized human being is a new species.

Enlightenment is true Singularity. TWEET THIS

Your brilliant future here, now, is Singularity as holistic self-awareness in the now moment

that you are mind, body, and spirit capable of miracles.

Boundaries removed, you become fearless.

Suffering and hardship end, replaced by peaceful, abundant living.

Death conquered, immortality becomes your new reality.

This is Humanity 2.0.

Progressive College Students Who Promoted Racial Segregation,NO WHITES DAY, Furious That Video of Th - Duration: 5:50.

"Progressive" College Students Who Promoted Racial Segregation, "NO WHITES DAY," Furious

That Video of Their Prejudicial Behavior Went Viral

In recent days you may recall, on this site and others, reading about wild tales involving

a group of misguided students at Evergreen State College in Olympia, Washington who demanded

observance and compliance with No Whites Day while threatening professors, staff

and other students who disagreed with the racist demonstration.

The little ingrates were making all sorts of demands from the college, including universal

compliance with the event, which required all whites to be banned for a full day which,

of course, included white students, who also pay to attend the college.

Many of these demands were simply ridiculous, including a homework exemption that ensured

students who participated in taking over school property and harassing fellow students and

staff would not be punished by professors for turning it in late.

Now, because they obviously believe they control the universe as well, the same domestic terrorists

are demanding that all videos showing them berating, cursing at and otherwise threatening

faculty and students alike be taken down from the Internet.

As Breitbart News reported: Students at Evergreen College, demanding the

suspension of a professor who opposed a school event asking white students and staff to leave

campus, are demanding that a video of their protest efforts published online be taken

down.

We demand that the video created for Day of Absence and Day of Presence that was stolen

by white supremacists and edited to expose and ridicule the students and staff be taken

down by the administration by this Friday, the students said in a list of demands they

gave to university President George Bridges.

First of all, what is this demand business?

We demand? Youre students; you can ask and you can petition, but you dont

demand.

Secondly, this demand reads like it came from some North Korean propagandist,

not a reasonable person interested in resolving differences.

The white supremacists claim was particularly ironic, given that the pinheads organizing

this ridiculous Day of Absence are the ones implementing a racist policy toward whites.

As Breitbart noted, the video which has since been taken down shows unhinged students

screaming and shouting down Prof. Bret Weinstein, who is white, for his refusal to participate

in the no whites allowed day on campus.

It spread quickly via social media.

On a college campus, ones right to speak or to be should never be based on

skin color, he said in an email.

Demanding that it be taken down would have been a tall order for the university, given

that social media is diverse, often anonymous, and often dependent on the fact that things

get shared again and again.

But the real crime here is the behavior of these students.

Not only should their demand that white people leave the campus for any amount of

time have been vehemently slapped down by the school administration, the resultant caving

in to other student demands is only further emboldening them to commit more disruption

in the future.

At one point, reports said, some students so incensed by Weinsteins response were

actually searching cars for him, perhaps to kidnap him and cause him harm.

That sounds incredible, but Weinstein told reporters he was informed of same by campus

police.

First and foremost, I want to state that there will be, as far as I know, no charges

filed against any students involved in actions that occurred this morning, Bridges told

students at one point.

We will be conducting a major review, an investigation of all that occurred and will

be reporting back to you, the campus community, about exactly what happened, why it happened

and what we intend to do about the incident not the incident, excuse me, the actions

that were taken, both students, staff and faculty involved.

This is incredible, but it helps explain why students on this campus and scores of

others around the country  continue to act more like hooligans than anything else;

they are being empowered to do so by weak, cowardly, enabling school administrators.

PIRATER VOTRE COMPTE FACEBOOK - SAFECODE - Duration: 5:33.

You've probably already heard someone telling you

that his Facebook account have been hacked,

and if it never happened to you yet

you could wake up one day with 0 cents on your bank account

and it would be quite sad

we'll see together what are the ways to hack your accounts

but also how to protect ourselves

often when it happen, we believe that he is a super dark hacker

and that he managed to break into Facebook servers

while pressing keys on his keyboard

but in fact, unless you are a very interessant target

in general it is just

Kevin, 15yo that sells your password on a forum

Most of the time, it is much simpler than what we think

The first method, which is the most used by far

It's phishing. We talked about that in a previous video

It consists of sending you a fake email

In order to redirect you to a fake website, that looks authentic

For instance if we want to steal your Facebook account

We can tell you that there were a suspicious authentication

And if you use the link inside the email to login

They'll get your credentials

The second method is to infect you're PC,

I only mean managing to start a program silently

And they can do anything to do this

They can send you an infected Word document

Or use an other file type

In a cracked software

Or by using a vulnerability (like WannaCry do)

Or simply

By pluging a USB key in your comupter

Whatever the way to do it

If we have control on your PC

We'll be able to do two things to steal your account

First we can got all the passwords

that you saved with your browser

you know when you have a popup that ask you if you whant to remember the password

Those are not stored securely on you're hard drive

Any program running can retrieve those passwords

Else, if you've been careful not to remember those passwords

We can try to get your passwords from keypresses

Just by looking what you type

If you didn't know

A software running in background can get all the keys you're pressing

So we save everything you typed in a file

And we just have to look what password you typed when you were on facebook

Most of the time, those malwares are called keyloggers

But keyloggers can also be physical

It looks like this, a small USB dongle

If you got a PC, we plug it between the USB port and the keyboard

And it save anything you type

It is really hard to detect

Then the most dangerous method

Consists simply in targeting an other account

Because many people have the same password

on several accounts

For exemple if I want to hack your Facebook

I could decide to hack your email instead

Luckily enough you could have the same password on both

And if it's not the case I could reset is using your email

In fact your email is the key to open all your accounts

So be really carful with it

We wont get into the details

But all what what we've seen is the most commonly used today

So yes, there are many ways to hack you

But don't worry, it is absolutely possible to protect yourself

First, you have got to use complex passwords

With many characters, and weird ones

"Wait, this is obvious no ?"

Well, yes, of course it is

But even if most people know this

I'm sure that many of you still have weak passwords

Just because you forget to change them

Then you could also use double authentication

Also called "two factors authentication"

For those who didn't know, I'll show you what it's like

Imagine you want to login to your bank

A bank account is kind of important

we would really want it to be protected

Look, here I'm on the login page of a bank

I put an id, a password, I click on login

But then I'm not logged in yet

It means that a password is not enough to log in

In fact, at the very moment I clicked on connect, my phone received a notification

I can accept the log in, or deny it

And if I didn't connect but received it

I know that someone just stole my password

But he won't be able to access my account

I can also click on it to see more details about the login attempt

There it is, I think you've understood how 2FA works

It combines something that you know, with something that you own

Such as a push notification / SMS on your phone

Even a USB key sometimes

Most of the time, it's an option you can check

In most of known websites (Twitter, Facebook...)

You can find it in the security settings

"And if I own a website, I can't do that ?"

I you've created a website or an app

And that you're not Facebook or Twitter, it can seem hard

Well in fact this was true in the past

Now you have services that enables you to do it very easly

Such as CM Authenticator

It's a tool from CM Company, and it's what I used for the demonstration

If you are developer or that you've got a Wordpress website

You will be able to implement two factor authentication in a few minutes

And without having to manage big infrastructures to send SMSs

And god knows how hard it is

Now, there is no excuse not to secure our accounts

for users and developers

All those hacks just have to stop

A very last thing, I think you've understood

It's really important to have a different password on each website

Try to do it on your most important accounts at least

To do this, tools can help you : password managers

We'll see this in a next video

For malwares, the most crucial thing to do is change our behaviours

At least knowing that it exists

It all I wanted to tell you, If friends of you have been hacked once, share this video to them ;)

See you soon ! It was Micode, ciao :)

Cookie Dough Protein Bites | Low Calorie Dessert Recipe - Duration: 1:47.

Hey everybody and welcome to the video

This is Josh here, and today I have a quick little dessert recipe for you all.

Peanut Butter Cookie Dough Protein Balls

I had completely forgot about this one until recently, it's a dead simple recipe that

takes 5 minutes to make and these things are so tasty.

These were a staple of mine last year towards the end of my diet, I hope you all enjoy them.

If you do, be sure to hit the thumbs up button and subscribe, I put out new videos every

Monday and Friday.

We're going to start by combining our dry ingredients.

Add 1 Cup of almond flour and two scoops of protein powder.

I used chocolate, but you can use whatever flavor you'd like or have on hand.

Then add 30 grams of chocolate chips, 1/3 of a cup of sugar free maple syrup, and 2

servings of peanut butter.

Mix all of the ingredients together into a cookie dough like consistency.

You may need to add more maple syrup depending on the protein powder you use.

Once everything is combined, roll the cookie dough into balls.

Don't try and be fancy like I did with the melon baller, it didn't work.

Also, I attempted to bake a few to see how they turned out.

Also didn't work.

They came out dry and terrible, these definitely have to be eaten in cookie dough form.

The recipe makes about 12 cookie dough balls, and they come out to about 115 calories each.

You probably already have most of these ingredients, so go ahead and make a batch, you're stomach

will thank you.

But until next time, I will talk to you all later.

Have a good one.

Talk to yourselves. - Duration: 5:40.

Hi all.

I'd like to go back with you today and clarify and reinforce the fact that many of us are

doing things but we're doing them passively rather than proactively.

For example if you think something it has potential but it's not real until you actually

verbalize it.

People think about doing things and there's potential behind the thought but if they don't

actually do it then it remains potential but is never actualized.

As human beings we've perfected the method of thinking about something and if we are

not a hundred percent comfortable we have a method of hiding from our own thoughts.

Thinking about cheating has potential.

Cheating itself is proactive but it's proactive in a negative kind of way.

If I don't actually do something to interact with the thought, with the action, then I

become a victim of my own thought.

In the main cheating is done for emotional reasons I want comfort, I want escape, I want

to do something that I know is not in my own best interest and if I don't talk about it

maybe it will go away.

I created the ABS protocol because it causes you to actually verbalize and by verbalizing

you take part in the action rather than as an innocent bystander.

Oh I wonder why I cheated.

The reason you cheated is the truth is you wanted to.

The fact that you wanted to, does it make it good or correct?

It's something that you wanted to do.

If you took responsibility and said I want to cheat but I'm going to substitute a less

damaging behaviour then you're being proactive but you're also making it real because you're

verbalizing it.

We've become alienated from our other cells.

Telephone cell, computers, texting, all of those kinds of things have begun to distance

ourselves from not just people but also from feelings.

I get the Emojis, one of them is a little smile, two of them is a bigger smile, three

of them is a huge smile.

You know something I looked at those Emojis and you weren't smiling at me and I didn't

feel you smiling at me and therefor I didn't really experience it but I guess it was easier

than talking to me and that then led to my ceasing to talk to myself and if I don't talk

to my other self's.

I become distance from myself and I'm much more prone to make mistakes.

Start communicating with yourself.

If it's uncomfortable recognize that you're uncomfortable talking to yourself and it would

be nice if you talked to me.

See you soon.

I'll be talking to you.

CRT Behind the Scenes - NOISES OFF - Duration: 1:13.

This is a play about very small problems blown up large and so we are laughing at how ridiculous

it is.

And I don't need to do too much, except give them the parameters and let them go.

It would be a good show had everything gone right.

And everything goes wrong.

It's fun to watch a group of crazy characters try to get through what ends up being hilarious

to watch.

I really honestly believe that Noises Off is the funniest play written.

By the time we get to Act 3 I think the audience is right there with you.

You feel like you're on this locomotive that is going through right into a big brick wall.

It's so much fun.

It's just a gift for the audience.

You don't have to do anything.

We're going to take care of the insanity.

Just come and enjoy.

You're going to have a great time.

>> WHOO! ALL RIGHT.

>> NICE A HALIBUT ON THE

BUCKTAIL.

>> B-52 BUCKTAIL WITH A WHOLE

LIVE SQUID. 4-OUNCE MODEL,

LIKE WE TALKED ABOUT. YOU DON'T

TO WORRY ABOUT IT BEING TOO, UH,

HEAVY.

>> FISH ON THE BOW.

>> GOT ONE ON THE BOW.

>> GOT ANOTHER ONE GOING OFF

THE BOW. IT'S ALL RIGHT, MAN.

>> I TOLD YOU ABOUT THAT

BUCKTAIL, DUDE.

>> YEAH. THIS IS THE BUCKTAIL

I WAS USING. B-52 BUCKTAIL.

BIG BEAUTIFUL HALIBUT.

THAT'S AWESOME. WHOO!

ALL RIGHT, WELL, LET'S TAKE A

LITTLE BREAK FROM THE ACTION

AND GO TO THE TACKLE BOX AND

GIVE YOU A GOOD LOOK AT THE GEAR

WE'RE USING FOR TODAY'S FISHING

TRIP ABOARD THE "MIRAGE."

THIS WEEK ON THE TACKLE BOX I'M

GONNA TALK TO YOU A LITTLE BIT

ABOUT WHAT WE'RE DOING THIS

WEEK. WE'RE TARGETING HALIBUT

AND WHITE SEA BASS, AND WE'RE

USING LIVE SQUID MOST OF THE

TIME. AND THE WAY I LIKE TO FISH

LIVE SQUID FOR THE SEA BASS IS

TO USE THE B-52 BUCKTAIL.

I REALLY LIKE USING A BUCKTAIL

SO I KNOW EXACTLY WHERE MY BAIT

IS AT ALL TIMES. AND THE WAY

I'LL FISH IT IS I'LL TAKE A

BUCKTAIL LIKE THIS, EITHER A

2- OR 4-OUNCE MODEL, LET IT GO

ALL THE WAY TO THE BOTTOM, AND

WHEN IT HITS THE BOTTOM, I'M

GONNA WIND IT UP MAYBE 4 OR 5

CRANKS, DEPENDING WHAT THE

SKIPPER SAYS. IF HE SAYS THAT

HE'S SEEN THE FISH SWIM BY ABOUT

5 FEET OFF THE BOTTOM OR 20 FEET

OFF THE BOTTOM, I'M GONNA BRING

MY BUCKTAIL UP TO THAT AREA AND

THEN I'M JUST GONNA WORK IT

SLOWLY UP AND DOWN, JUST RAISING

MY ROD TIP UP AND DOWN, AND JUST

WANT THAT THING TO MOVE IN THE

CURRENT WITH THE WHOLE SQUID ON

THERE. IF WE HAVE LIVE SQUID,

I HAVE A LIVE SQUID PINNED ON,

BUY FRESH-DEAD WORKS REALLY

GOOD, TOO. WHAT'S NICE ABOUT

FRESH DEAD, IT'S NOT ALIVE, SO

IT DOESN'T TRY TO CAMOUFLAGE

ITSELF, SO IT JUST KIND OF STAYS

THERE. AND WITH THAT WHOLE SQUID

ONTO A BUCKTAIL AND JUST SLOWLY

MOVING IN THE CURRENT, YOU'LL

CATCH LOTS OF FISH. YOU DON'T

WANT TO LET THIS SIT ON THE

BOTTOM 'CAUSE ALL YOU'RE GONNA

CATCH ARE BAT RAYS AND

STINGRAYS, SAND SHARKS,

STUFF LIKE THAT.

YOU WANT TO GET IT UP OFF THE

BOTTOM, MOVE IT AROUND, GET IT

IN THE CURRENT, AND LET THOSE

FISH COME UP AND FIND IT.

NOT ONLY WILL YOU CATCH THE

WHITE SEA BASS THAT WAY, BUT

YOU'LL ALSO CATCH HALIBUT.

NOW, IF YOU GET INTO AN AREA

WHERE YOU DON'T THINK THERE'S

WHITE SEA BASS AND YOU'RE JUST

GONNA TARGET HALIBUT, THIS IS A

PRE-MADE HALIBUT RIG. YOU CAN

FIND THESE ALL OVER THE PLACE.

OR YOU CAN MAKE YOUR OWN.

AND THIS ONE HAS A SWIVEL ON THE

BOTTOM FOR THE SINKER, A PIECE

OF LINE AND ANOTHER SWIVEL ON

TOP. AND THE WAY IT'S DESIGNED

IS FOR THAT SWIVEL AND THAT

SINKER TO LAY ON THE BOTTOM, AND

THEN YOUR BAIT MOVES AROUND.

IT CAN GO UP AND DOWN THAT LINE,

BUT THE SINKER IS GONNA BE RIGHT

ON THE BOTTOM, THE BAIT CAN'T

GET TOO FAR AWAY, BUT BECAUSE

YOU HAVE THAT LINE THERE ON THE

SWIVEL, IT'LL MOVE AROUND AND

LOOK A LOT MORE ACTIVE THAN ON

A DROPPER-LOOP RIG.

HAS A LOT MORE FREEDOM.

THESE RIGS WORK REALLY GOOD.

IF YOU'RE GONNA USE AN

ANCHOVY, A HOOK LIKE THIS IS

FINE. IF YOU'RE GONNA USE LIVE

SQUID, YOU HAVE TO USE A MUCH

BIGGER HOOK, 3.0, 5.0 HOOK,

SOMETHING LIKE THAT. SARDINES

THE SAME THING, ABOUT A 3.0

HOOK, 2.0 HOOK.

NOW, AS FAR AS RODS AND REELS,

YOU DON'T NEED SOMETHING REALLY

HEAVY, BUT YOU DON'T WANT TO GO

LIGHT EITHER. WITH WHITE SEA

BASS AND HALIBUT AROUND,

SOMETHING LIKE THIS SIZE WITH

30-POUND, MAYBE EVEN 40-POUND

IF THERE'S BIG WHITE SEA BASS

AROUND, WILL WORK FINE. WHEN THE

FISH ARE HUNGRY, HALIBUT AND

WHITE SEA BASS ARE VERY

AGGRESSIVE, SO DON'T WORRY ABOUT

FISHING 30- OR 40-POUND TEST.

I KNOW IT SOUNDS KIND OF HEAVY,

BUT REALLY, THE FISH THAT WE'RE

CATCHING IN THIS WEEK'S EPISODE

YOU'RE GONNA SEE ARE NICE-SIZE

FISH, AND USING 30 WOULD BE A

MINIMUM, AND 40-POUND HAVING NO

PROBLEMS CATCHING FISH ON THAT,

TOO. THIS IS THE BASIC HERE YOU

NEED FOR TODAY'S TRIP. LET'S GET

BACK ON THE WATER AND SHOW YOU

MORE EXCITING ACTION RIGHT HERE

ON "SPORTFISHING."

Come pulisco i miei pennelli da trucco - How I clean my Make up brushes | Giugizu - Duration: 6:03.

>> Hi and welcome or welcome back to my channel

As you may have guessed from the title

in today's video I thought I'd show you

how I clean my dirty make up brushes and beauty blender

it's nothing particularly difficult at all

but I have 2 products to show you that make it even easier and quicker

and I will also share some alternative products even easier to find on the market

Moreover I have to confess that I started to regularly clean my brushes just a few years ago

before that I used to keep them dirty for ages

and then I developped huge pimples I always wondered "why do I have pimples now?? Why?"

Well dear, that's probably because you keep applying your make up with filthy brushes

Moreover brushes can be expensive and we should keep them in good conditions anyway

Great, I just dropped one!

Anyway make up brushes should be cleaned at least once a week, especially if you drop them on the floor

and I should say that I got my previous bad habit of not cleaning them

because grew up with my mother who, to this day, never cleans her brushes

she simply replaces them with new ones

That's a great mistake...so please girls clean your brushes as often as you can

Now let's get to the video and I'll show you the products and how I use them

In my opinion one of the best brush cleansers on the market is the Blender Cleanser by Beauty Blender

because it deeply and quickly cleanses the brushes without damaging the bristles

it's a bit hard to find in the stores, but it's worth trying it

so if you want to know more I'll link it on my blog as ususal.

Another usefull product is the Brush Cleansing Palette by Real Techniques

you'll see it in action in a second and you'll understand why it's handy.

Ok, now that we have our tools ready let's get going

Here I have a filthy bronzer brush, I gently soak it in water

then I get the Blender Cleanser by pushing on the built in pump, like so

and here comes the cleansing palette

As you can see it's a rubber tool with some puffy bits at the bottom, in different sizes.

by swiping the brush on the base the cleanser soaks in even more

and you can remove the dirt without irritating your hands

After I rubbed the brush on the palette a few times I add some water

and I gradually rinse off the cleanser

To finish up I squeeze out the water from the bristles, like so

and I lay the brush to dry, making sure the bristles don't touch the surface

to avoid modifying the shape.

Then I do the same for every brush

using the cleansing palette on the smaller texturized side for the smaller brushes

and on the bigger texturized side for the larger brushes

To clean the beauty blender I use another technique

I soak the cleanser directly in the sponge

then I add a bit of water

and I squeeze out the dirt, just like so

and I repeat this until the blender is clean

An alternative to the one I showed you is to replace the blender cleanser with a gentle shampoo

for example a shampoo for newly born

and wash the brushes by rubbing them directly on the palm of our hands, like so

The brushes and the beauty blender are now clean, now I just need to leave them to dry as long as needed.

Et voilà, this is how I clean my brushes and my beauty blender

as you just saw it's easy and the 2 products I showed you make it even quicker and easier

As I said in the video you can always substitute the blender cleanser

with a gentle shampoo to avoid damaging the bristles

and you can rub the brushes on the palm of your hands

The important thing to remember is to avoid laying the bristles to dry flat on the surface

to prevent them from changing the shape

In the summer time, when the weather is nice, you can leave them to dry in the open air

but not in the direct sun light

I think I said everything, I remind you that on my blog you'll find the links to the 2 products mentioned

and the blog address is in the downbar

If you enjoyed this video I invite you - as always- to give it a thumbs up so trhat I will know it

and remember to always clean your brushes, it's really important

if you want you can also share and favourite the video, but most of all

and if you are not subscribed to my channel yet, do it now in order not to miss any new video.

That's it for today, have a nice day, I send you a big kiss and I'll see you in my next one, ciao!

DSD Explained part 1 - Duration: 11:18.

At the 1996 AES Convention in Copenhagen the formerly CBS Research Lab introduced Direct

Stream Digital, DSD for short, as a archive format that offered compact files while it

contains sufficient information for conversion to sample rates as high as 352.8 kHz -

unheard of in 1996.

From there is went to SACD and now to DSD downloads.

Record company CBS was bought by Sony in 1987 and the CBS Research Lab might have been renamed then,

but somehow anyone on the show knew it were the same people that for instance

made the famous CBS test-cd.

Their idea was elegantly simple: just store the output of the delta-sigma modulator that

is used in the analogue to digital converter.

¿Que?

Ok, let's explain that first by explaining what a delta modulator does: it simply compares

two voltages in time and when the second is higher than the first, it outputs a 1 and

when it is lower, it outputs a 0.

Delta is used in math to indicate a difference, hence the name Delta converter.

To increase the resolution, the output of the Delta modulator is also sent to a 1-bit

DAC and added to the input signal of the Delta modulator to reduce errors.

For those that find this a bit cryptic, compare it to cycling: when you had your first try

to ride a bike, you made very course steering movements making you go all over the place.

Over time you learned to control this better by monitoring the result of each steering

action and making corrections that are monitored and corrected again.

A Delta-Sigma modulator does about the same.

The alternative is the multi-level converter where the input voltage is compared to 16

reference voltages.

The problem is that getting the smallest reference voltages precise enough was - and still is

- rather difficult under other than laboratory conditions.

And even then….

The Delta-Sigma converter was far easier to get precise results from and it was then a

matter of digital processing to convert the 1 bit output to 16 and later 24 bits files.

This principle is commonly used in audio.

The people at Sony must have thought it to be a good idea to just skip the conversion

of the 1 bit signal coming from the a/d converter and just register this signal for archiving.

You do need a higher sampling rate, standard was 64 times 44.1 kHz, but then you would

equal a PCM quality of 352.8 kHz at 24 bit while the file is slightly smaller than a

192 kHz 16 bit signal.

This would have been great, especially for digitising analogue masters for the anti aliasing

filters needed for digitising would have little negative effect in de audible spectrum.

Furthermore it is ideal for archiving since it can easily be converted to 44.1 kHz or

any multiple thereof.

But many analogue to digital converters today use a scheme that is in-between 1-bit and

full multibit, for instance a 5-bit converter after which the signal is converted to the

required 1, 16 or 24 bit system.

So chances are the DAC output has to be converted anyway, whether you use PCM or DSD.

By the way, DSD - theoretically - is also a form of PCM but when I say PCM in this video

, I mean multi-bit PCM while I will use DSD for the 1-bit system.

When the CD was becoming of age, Sony and Philips were faced with a serious problem:

the enormous license fee they received every year was about to halt since after 25 years

the patent would expire.

O, for those that blame MQA for trying to burden the music industry with patent money,

you have payed patent rights over every cd-player and cd album for 25 years and rightly so.

Only one in so many formats succeed and they have lost big money on failed systems like

Digital Compact Cassette and MiniDisk.

But I digress.

They needed a new music format to keep the license fees coming in and while at it, correct

some errors the CD and DVD had; commercially that is.

For it should have the best copy protection, in the world.

And it did.

I don't think the copy protection is cracked even to this day.

There are work-arounds and since Sony and Philips lost interest in SACD there might

be more work around coming to market.

As a carrier it got the Blu-ray disk that would have had more than sufficient storage

space for albums in 384 kHz sampling but using a proprietary format like DSD was yet another

layer of protection agains copycats.

No one then could play DSD streams and all SACD players - as part of the licensing - had

the digital output blocked when DSD was played.

By the way, the recent attempt to fill blu-ray discs with 24 bit 96 or 192 kHz audio and

issue them using the Blu-ray Audio moniker is a bit odd since the quality, at least theoretical,

is lower than SACD while the price often is higher than downloads from sites like highresaudio.com

and HDTracks.

Back to DSD.

How can a one bit system produce proper audio?

Every bit offers 6 dB dynamic range and thus DSD has only 6 dB dynamic range.

But DSD64 - that is DSD at 64 times the sampling frequency of CD - has a 64 fold resolution

in time.

Using noise shaping a dynamic range equal to about 20 bit PCM is achieved while mid

range time smearing is low due to the high sample rate.

The only disadvantage is that there will be a lot of noise above 20 kHz.

It is always the question whether an amplifier has to work hard to get the 50 kHz noise signal

out while the tweeters might run hot producing tones that will only scare the rats out of

your house - if if any of these conditions are applicable at your place.

Normally the noise will cause little concern.

Switching to DSD as a copy protection might have been a smart move - and I am only guessing

they used DSD for this reason - in the studio DSD was very difficult to do post production

on.

With PCM each sample clearly says what part of the output voltage it represents.

Not so with DSD, for each sample only indicates if that sample was higher in level than the

previous sample.

An audio workstations was designed to temporarily convert the content just before and just after

a cut to PCM, make the cut and transfer it back to DSD.

All in the back grond.

But rather soon editing station manufacturer came with DXD as the solution: the entire

DSD file was converted to PCM at 352.8 kHz and 24 bit depth.

DXD stands for Digital eXtreme Definition.

DXD is just a name given to normal PCM audio, but since it sounds like DSD - intentionally

or not - the streaming community now calls 352.8 kHz files DXD too.

Anyway, DSD recordings will be converted to DXD when post production is needed - which

is almost always the case: editing, equalising, dynamic range reduction, some more reverb

and so on.

By the way, with classical music, dynamic range reduction is essential to be able to

play it in a living room.

But this is normally done by manual gain riding based on the score and thus not by using a

compressor.

Anyway, after all post is done, the files are converted back to DSD.

This process is sold as being lossless in the sense that it doesn't degrade the audible

quality.

More realistic people call it a process with acceptable losses, which might be closer to

the truth although some would call it more acceptable than others.

So why not release it as DXD then?

Well, during the SACD time that was no option since an SACD has to contain DSD audio.

But now it would be an option and in some cases this option is offered.

But a 352.8 kHz 24 bit file uses 16.9 megabits per second while a DSD64 that supposedly offers

the same resolution only uses 5.6 megabits per second and thus is far more efficient.

This is part 1 of a two part series.

Part 2 will cover the playback side of DSD with topics as ripping, downloading, file

types and ways to play them back.
