Lainie Kazan's Attorney Speaks Out About Her Arrest

Lainie Kazans attorney Mark Werksman is speaking out about her arrest. Lainie is not a shoplifter. Nor has she ever left a Gelsons store without paying for her groceries, Werksman told E! News about the My Big Fat Greek Wedding star.

This was a misunderstanding by Gelsons employees who did not give her a chance to pay for her groceries before detaining her.

We look forward to resolving these charges in court where we are confident she will be exonerated..

The 77-year-old actress, who played Toula Portokalos mom in the 2002 comedy film and its 2016 sequel, was arrested earlier this week for allegedly stealing groceries.

TMZ reported Kazan stole $180 worth of groceries from Gelsons supermarket and claimed she had allegedly tried shoplifting before. E! News reached out to Gelsons for comment.

A police spokesperson confirmed to E! News that Kazan was cited for shoplifting and released but offered no further details.

Top 10 Super Mario Maker Designs of 2017. - Duration: 19:16.

2017 is coming to an end, and it was an amazing year for gaming.

The nintendo switch was released alongside with breath of the wild.

3D platformer made a comeback with yooka laylee, a hat in time, the crash remake and of course

Super Mario Odyssey.

And then there were fantastic indie games, like hollow knight, and that's just scratching

the surface of what was going on in gaming in 2017.

A really wonderful year for gamers, but the year is coming to an end now, and because

of this it is time to hold our annual idea of the year election.

Continuing with our long and proud, one year old tradition, i picked 10 of my favorite

mario maker ideas of this year.

And now it is time for you to decide which ideas should get explored a little bit more,

should win an additional video, and of course the idea of the year title.

So are you ready?

Let's do this!

Okay so the first idea that is nominated for the idea of the year award is the first one

in the video about counters.

This idea is representative for all the crazy shenanigans that are possible because of counters.

Let's take a look back at it.

Here our plumber finds himself in a hub room with four different exit pipes.

Each one of these pipes leads to a small minigame.

The whole hub room is set up in such a way that a pow-block is triggered once mario survived

two different minigames.

So our plumber has to choose and to survive two out of the four mini-challenges which

are hidden on the other sides of these pipes.

The first challenge is a small minigame where mario has to hit his head against three question

blocks without jumping into the deadly sawblades.

Once all three question blocks feel triggered a path for the koopa at the top is created

and a pow-block gets triggered.

We are able to convert the position of the koopa into a triggered pow-block because of

this small koopa-bullet-bill-shelmet contraption.

Once Mario leaves the first mini challenge he finds himself in the hub room again.

Now he needs to survive one more of the four minigames in order for the counter to reach

the end.

This time he took the minigame to the left.

In this challenge our plumber has to avoid ouching cannonballs which cannons shoot towards

him.

At the top is a shelmet timer which expires after about 12 seconds of cannonball dodging.

Once this pow block was triggered the exit opens up and mario enters the hub area once

again, but this time the counter reached zero and the exit path is open.

Hooray!

Hm.., counters are really really useful and there is defnietly still a lot of unexplored

potential here but I'm not sure if this idea was cinematic enough in order to win

this years title.

Well the next idea I want to take a look back at is defnietly cinematic enough, it's my

favorite designs from the bowser jr boss-encounter video.

So there is only one last bossfight left for Mario to survive, and he's done for this

week.

But bowser jr learned from his previous encounters with mario. he analyzed why he was defeated

over and over again, and came to a conclusion.

His weakness is his head.

If bowser jr made somehow sure that mario isn't able to hit his head, bowser jr would

probably become invincible.

And so bowser jr planned and planned until he came up with an answer to his problem.

all that he needs to do is to enclose himself inside a wall and mario can't jump on top

of him.

Wow Mario can't hurt bowser jr here all that he can, do is to wall jump towards him,

but this can't hit him.

But wait a moment, did this wall jump just activate a shelmet.

Is this a boss fight where wall-jumps are attacks.

It looks as if mario needs to wall jump five times towards bowser jr in order to defeat

him.

But there is another wall-jump wall to his left.

What happens if he jumps towards this area.

He is rewarded with a yum yum mushroom!

So it looks like bowser jr built a fair boss fight once again.

Why?

Bowser jr found a way to be sure to defeat Mario once and for all, but he decided to

built a fair fight once again.

We can only guess why he decided to do so, maybe he secretly likes mario, maybe he realized

that he isn't able to upload his levels if there is no way for mario to win, or maybe

he just made a mistake by accident.

We don't know, but what we do know is that mario manages to win even this fight.

So we were actually pretty mean to mario this year, we forbade him to turn around, we forbade

him to walk, we forbade him to run, we forbade him to leave a corridor and so on.

But one of my favorite things we forbade mario this year, was jumping, and my favorite design

where jumping is forbidden is this one.

And now let's take a look on our final jumpless boss design.

Here toad fights against a gigantic dragon statue.

This statue constantly shoots fireballs into our brave mushrooms path.

Toad can't jump here, but he is able to use the springs to his advantage.

While jumping kills him, toad is still able to move vertically here because of the springs.

The anti jump thwomps are set in such a way that they allow toad to gain the height of

the spring bounce without destroying the floor.

But as soon a toad gets a little bit more height, he dies.

Now all that's left for toad is to make strategic use of the springs in order to dodge

the fireballs which constantly move towards him.

After a while the hidden shelmet timer expires and toad is able to leave this idea.

The next idea features not only a really interesting puzzle mechanic, but also one of the most

majestic creatures mario has ever encountered.

Hooray mario survived even this fight.

Luckily mario doesn't need to fight against the next creature he faces.

As the next creature can't be defeated by combat, but by solving it's riddle Mario

faces the sphinx.

The sphinx talks to him, she says:

Brave Plumber who stands before on the floor I know you are seeking the exit door.

But be careful as I only let pass those which, show me an incredibly complicated way to trigger

a p-switch.

It looks like there are three items in front of the sphinx.

A pow-block a p-switch and a spring.

But mario can't reach this p-switch, what does the sphinx want him to do?

He needs more hints.

Luckily the sphinx is willing to give them to him.

The first to trigger if you want to keep your skin

is the one you encountered first with your twin

The second to trigger if you want to live is the oldest of the options which I give.

Hm… it looks like mario has to activate the three items in a specific order.

The first he should trigger is the one he encountered first with his twin.

What does the sphinx mean?

Oh of course, how obvious.

It's the pow-block as mario's first encounter with a pow-block was in mario bros. together

with luigi back in 1983.

Alright but what does the sphinx mean with her second hint?

The oldest of the three options.

Hm… oh - of course, it's the spring as the spring appeared in mario's first game

ever.

Donkey Kong.

So if this is right That means that the last option has to be the p-switch.

Let's hope mario solved the riddle right and that the sphinx disappears.

Wow, how cinematic.

Looks like mario nailed it!

Our next design is one of my favorites from the which cloud is the best cloud 2017 since

it allows it to almost perfectly recreate a missing feature of the new super mario bros

games in mario maker.

Let's see what the lakitu clouds prepared for us.

Hm, this is strange mario is in an empty castle there isn't much going on here.

Oh, it's raining fireballs!

There are three lakitu clouds hidden out of sight containing bowsers.

These bowsers constantly spit burning magma balls into their own castle.

Wow that's really dangerous.

It's no easy task for mario to make it through this area once, but sadly for him he has to

make his way back as well!

But not only this, it looks like there are now more fireballs raining from the sky than

in the beginning.

This is because the further he entered the castle, the more bowsers got loaded.

That's definitely the most dangerous situation more has been in today, and he already flew

a cloud through a dangerous area filled with sawblades and defeated a magikoopa on top

of an moving arena.

But it looks as if mario is able to survive even this idea!

Hooray.

The next idea is representative for trying to create games and game modes in mario maker,

which mario maker clearly wasn't designed for.

Let's take a look back at our turn based combat system featuring experience points.

And now let's take a look on a fighting system featuring experience points.

Here Mario has to fight against a horrible chain chomp.

The chain chomp attacks first and his attack is pretty easy to avoid for mario.

Actually it may be a little bit too easy to avoid.

So here's the thing I uploaded this course as well and I tried to make the fights really

easy so that everyone can take a look at the system without dying over and over, though

I have to admit this might be little bit too easy.

Anyway, once Mario survived the dangerous chain chomp attack he is transported into

this loading area.

Here a counter counts how many turns it takes our plumber to defeat this incredibly dangerous

chain chomp.

Afterwards it's Mario's turn.

Mario attacks by jumping towards these question blocks.

If he jumps at the right moment the shellmet attacks the chain chomp and deals one damage

to him.

It takes three hits to kill the chain chomp so it's possible to kill it in only one

turn, but mario only got one hit in.

To Mario's left are two exit pipes but one of them is currently blocked.

The pipe which mario took, took him back to the horrific chain chomp attack mini-game.

After surviving this really dangerous attack mario enters the counting screen once again

before he is able to attack the chain chomp.

Now mario gets the last two hits in which kills the chain chomp, triggers a pow-block

and opens up the other exit pipe.

Now it's time for Mario to get his reward!

This time he ends up on the other side of the counting screen.

Okay so there are three keys, keys are the currency in this level, but sadly for mario

he is only able to collect two of them as one of the keys is blocked by a muncher.

This is because it took mario two turns to defeat the dangerous chain chomp.

If Mario defeated the creature in only one turn he would have been rewarded with all

three keys, but if it took him even more turns he would only be rewarded with a single key.

This is the shop and mario is now allowed to spent all his keys for delicious power

ups.

If mario wants to get the shelmet or the mushroom he has to spend one key on each of them, if

he wants to eat the fire flower he has pay two keys in order to get it

Okay so the next idea I want to revisit is probably the idea which has the most potential

to allow for insanely crazy shenanigans when further explored, the the floor is lava contraption.

At the top is the "the floor is lava" timer displayed.

It is safe for mario to touch the ground while there are ice blocks, or block blocks in the

middle of the question block square.

As soon as there are lava bubbles mario has to be somewhere where he doesn't touch the

floor or the floor collapses.

If he is above the floor however nothing happens and it becomes safe again for our plumber

to touch the floor until the lava-bubbles are shown at the display again.

So here mario has to survive until a timer runs out.

Bowser jrs spits fireballs towards him, but the real challenge is to keep an eye up for

the the floor is lava timer.

Okay so how does this beautiful contraption work?

It's actually ridiculously simple.

So this was our design for the floor is lava, but we not only took a look at the floor is

lava contraptions his year, but also at the lava is floor contraptions.

I'm really interested in finding out which one of these two ideas is more popular, among

the voters at home.

Mario finds himself in the middle of a castle which bowser built.

To his right are bullet blaster which seem to float inside the lava and create a pathway

for our not a plumber.

And then things become really weird.

Once Mario enters the next room these thwomps are pushed into the lethal lava floor and

disappear.

But how is Mario now supposed to reach the end.

well the answer is really simple he just needs to walk on top of the lava.

Hooray!

We are going to do something even more crazy with this concept in a second but first let's

take a look at how this actually works.

It's actually surprisingly … well to be honest actually I'm not entirely sure why

this works but I do have a theory.

These fire bars push the thwomps down.

Usually a thwomp is unloaded once he is outside of the screen but I believe what happens here

is that the fire-bar is unloaded before the thwomp is so low that the game removes him.

Because of this the thwomp and everything which is on top of him floats in the air.

Here the bullet blasters are at exactly the same position as the lava which creates an

almost invisible pathway for mario over the really hot liquid.

The reason why I believe that it has something to do with the lower loading boarder of the

camera is because this happens if the camera is higher.

Here the camera is two blocks higher than before, which makes the bullet blasters float

two blocks higher in the air than before.

The reason why I want to point out that this is probably a loading issue is because if

it is, this should mean that this trick does not only work with lava, but with every lower

game boarder in every style.

And as it turns out.

Yup.

Here Mario is allowed to stand on top of cannons which are invisible, here Mario is able to

use springs which really shouldn't be there, here he ground pounds into his doom but still

survives because he is still above the loosealive boarder and here are bullet blasters only

half on screen.

that's kinda interesting isn't it?

This is what the setup for this trick looks like in case anyone of you wants to toy around

with it, I'm quite sure there is something completely crazy possible with it.

The next design, is probably the most dangerous train ride mario had to do this year!

The next design is bowser jr's, boss express.

And now it's time to take a look on our last train design, bowser j.

Boss express.

This train moves on tracks and functions as a horrible and dangerous arena for a bowser

jr. boss fight.

The wagon in the middle constantly shoots cannonballs into the air which mario has to

dodge.

Meanwhile bowser jr spits fireballs towards our brave train riding plumber.

The wagon to the right has firebars at its center which try to burn mario while he fights

against bowser's son.

The wagon to the left is filled with springs and contains two bullet bills which shoot

items towards these springs.

One bullet blaster shoots horrible goombas, while the other shoots yum yum mushrooms.

Defeating bowser jr on top of this train is definitely no easy task but mario defeated

bowser jr thousands of times before and he is able to defeat him here as well.

So there is only one last nominated idea left before it is finally time for you to vote,

which idea should be allowed to call itself idea of the year.

This idea is the oldest one, and from january, and it is probably the saddest idea of 2017

as well.

And now let's find out how the mushroom kingdom championship changed the life of the monty

mole.

So what happened to the small little mole who trained so hard to win the mushroom championship?

After he tied for the first place with the chain chomps he probably was the happiest

mole alive.

The press praised his inspiring performance.

The other moles stopped making fun of him, they were actually impressed that such a young

mole was already so famous.

The small mole learned that his hard training was worth it, it paid off.

But this realisation cursed him.

Driven by his desire to replicate his great succsess he went back to the only thing he

knew.

He went back into his training room.

Day and night he stood their lifting munchers and bullet blasters at first, then thwomps

and even hole cannons.

Soon he was able to carry ten items on his shoulder, then eleven.

As our small mole grew up, he became the strongest mole in the universe.

But no-one was taking him serious anymore, the press started to make fun about him, the

other moles went back to their old behavior towards him and everything collapsed.

The stronger he became the less the people liked him and the less the people liked him

the more he trained.

Today he is an abnormity of a mole.

Able to carry an entire mario stage on his shoulders, but unsatisfied.

While the small moles fate isn't pleasant, it's still possible to create really cool

mario maker stages with his help.

Here the powerful mole carries tons of bullet-blasters on his back.

This gives our plumber a huge platform which he can use to beat this little stage.

Wherever mario goes the powerful mole follows him, creating a chasing platform.

While it appears as if mario does most of the work in this level, the really hard part

is done by our mole.

While the mole carries hundred times his own weight on his shoulders mario only needs to

dodge some sharp sawblades.

So those are the ten idea of the year nominees, and now ladies and gentlemen, it is time for

you to vote.

The link to the voting strawpoll is currently on screen, you can find the link in the description

as well.

Remember that the three ideas with the most votes will get an additional video, exploring

the idea behind the idea a little bit more.

If you want to see more counter shenanigans your hashtag is hashtag one, if you want to

vote for the wall jump boss encounter hashtag two is the hashtag of your choice.

hashtag 3 for the toad don t jump boss fight and hashtag four for the sphinx.

Hashtag five if you loved the raining fireballs, and hashtag 6 if you want to see more turn

based combat concepts.

Hashtag 7 for the floor is lava and hashtag 8 for the lava is floor.

If your favorite idea is the bowser jr boss encounter on top of the train your hastag

is hashtag nine and hashtag 10 for moles and moving stages.

Don't forget each toad has only one vote!

And that's it for 2017, the next video will take a little bit longer than usual and will

probably be the first revisiting of the winning ideas if everything goes as planned.

I hope that you have a wonderful 2018 and to see you soon.

Goodbye!

The French MotoVlogger Chris-RS actually wanted to please the passers in Paris - by driving

However, when he was traveling with his Z800, he saw an accident.

A car driver drove on a pedestrian and try to escape.

Since there were enough passers in near who could take care of the accident victim, Santa

Claus took up the chase and tried to stop the driver.

Even if it looked the person causing the collision was stoppt, she always found a gap in the

traffic and fled further.

After the cat and mouse game went on for a while and some of the onslaught was in oncoming

The Small town of Oren, and a speech from James Perloff - Duration: 4:25.

the establishment is established bridges influence to the sitting president the

most important which is the Council on Foreign Relations CFR for short

headquartered in New York City with a branch in Washington and of course it's

the subject of my book the shadows of power subtitle the Council on Foreign

Relations and the American decline now how does the council influence the

president we're going to talk about that but first I'd like to establish this

what is the goal of the Council on Foreign Relations the goal is world

government and we are gonna quote Admiral Chester war he was former Judge

Advocate of the u.s. Navy he was invited into membership in the CFR

he spent 16 years there was shocked by what he found, here is what he wrote

said the main purpose of the Council on Foreign Relations is promoting the

disarmament of us sovereignty and national independence and submersions

into an all-powerful one-world government

from boston herald even were bold enough to do

in the editorial against the Council on Foreign Relations which they call them

foreign policy fuzzy thinkers who worship world government and in my book the

shadow power of many quotes both from the critics and for the council itself

demonstrating that they advocate establishment of a world government by the

way what do we mean by one world government well today Brazil

is run by the Brazilian government right Japan runs the Japanese government runs

Japan the world government would be a single government ruling the entire world

European Union you know at one time countries like Spain and england were mighty

empires now they're becoming little more than provinces in the European Union

their legislatures each year just to serve the decisions made by

the European Commission and Brussels and as you know the consolidating the

currencies into the euro they consolidated their militaries and they

say they can have a European Pentagon and their is a European Constitution Europe

right now is a model of global government on a regional scale as we'll

see tonight the same thing as planned for North America

Now the journal of foreign policy for he counsel on foreign affairs is called Foreign

Affairs and I read every issue before writing

the shadows of power going back to its original publication date of 1922 and I

found many calls for world government for example in this first year of

publication 1922 we read this obviously there's going to be no peace or prosperity

for mankind so long as it remains divided into 50 or 60 independent states

the real problem today is that of world government

these guys constantly used the words peace and prosperity to

describe what world government will bring us professor Rudolf Rummel

professor emeritus of political science at the University of Hawaii an

interesting study on death in the 20th century he found that in

that century four times more people died at the hands of their own government

than died in war this seems that there is something worse than war which is the

totalitarian government question you got to ask is if we have a world government

who's gonna run it now globalists will say well international coalition is a

great look at how these guys stopped saddam hussein

what happens if saddam hussein runs your world government they got only one government and on the earth where

are you gonna run to hide there's no government now you can run to to protect

you the founding fathers of America knew that is very dangerous but all power in

one place that's why they didn't just give us a president the executive branch

but they also gave us a legislative branch and even with that there is a check

in the balance right between the House and the Senate

plus the judicial branch and keep an eye on the other to two and I know that

there's been corruption and all those branches of

government but nonetheless that system has served to protect us from being

taken over by a dictatorship and by the way in the original view of the framers

the states were supposed to counteract a counterbalance the power of the federal

government an issue that was sort of settled by the War Between the States

James Madison our fourth president said this the accumulation of all power in

the same hands may be pronounced the very definition of tyranny and he was sure

if you accumulate all power in the world government may be the worst tyranny this

planet has ever seen.

6 Things You Must Have In Your Life - Duration: 7:13.

Improvement Pill here, welcome to Lesson #11 of the Tamed Course.

In our previous lessons - We learned about how habits and willpower work but today we're

going to talk about something that strikes at the root of our problem.

We're going to talk about 6 things that you must have in your life.

You might be able to build a couple of good habits, you might be able to increase your

willpower – but without these 6 fundamental human needs you will not be able to overcome

your addiction for good.

And this is a concept that was first introduced by Tony Robbins.

So let's jump right into it:

The first fundamental human need is a sense of Certainty.

Human beings need to have some idea of what to expect in the future.

For example: going to work for 40 hours a week and knowing that you'll make say 500$

every week.

If we do not have certainty in our lives, that creates a tremendous amount of stress.

Imagine showing up to work everyday and not knowing what your paycheck is going to look

like at the end of the week.

How confident will you be about pay the bills or putting food on the table?

When we have a lack of certainty in our lives we tend to reach for things that do give us

certainty.

For example: If I smoke a couple of cigarettes, or drink a couple of beers I know that I will

feel good.

That is for certain.

A good way to combat this by setting up habits with consistent rewards.

For example: If I meditate everyday in the morning, I know that I will feel better for

the rest of the day.

But above all certainty is most needed in terms of job and home security.

Forget about trying to build good new habits forget about overcoming your addictions - Without

having a steady stream of income, without knowing that you'll have a roof over your

head, without knowing that you'll have food to eat everyday it is near impossible to overcome

your addictions for good.

The second fundamental human need is variety.

Now I know I know, doesn't this contradict what we just talked about?

Well when I say variety – I'm talking about the sense that our lives aren't boring.

If you're working a 9-5 every single day, with the same exact routine where you come

back home and watch the same tv shows and eat the same food, then you're going to have

an extremely hard time overcoming your addictions.

Because your addiction offer a sort of excitement.

When you're drunk or high the whole world feels different, it adds some variety into

your life.

In order for us to combat this, we need to make sure that we have an exciting life.

This means having exciting hobbies that really interest us.

This means going on exciting trips every once in a while.

This means trying out new things, new foods, new ideas, and even meeting new people.

If we can bring more excitement into our lives we'll reach for the excitement that our addiction

provides far less often.

The third fundamental human need is significance.

We need to feel important, like we matter.

And this is often done in a variety of different ways.

Some people do this by building up a business and making millions, others do so by getting

really good at their craft, and some people even do this by creating unnecessary drama

in their lives.

Without a source of significance we'll just reach for our addiction of choice.

There's a reason why people like doing drugs like cocaine, because it makes you feel like

the most important person in the room.

In order to combat this we can cultivate our own version of significance.

And this differs from person to person but a general rule of thumb is, if there's something

you daydream about.

Then chances are that dream of yours will provide you with a sense of significance.

The 4th fundamental human need is Love and Connection.

We human beings are social creatures.

It's even been found that if you do not socialize with anyone for a long period of time your

brain will actually get smaller.

We need to form intimate bonds with people.

We need to care about others and also feel like others care about us.

And this is one of the most common fundamental human needs that is not being properly fulfilled.

So many people nowadays spend too much time behind their screens to the point where they

no longer know how to go out there and actually connect with people.

If you don't bond with others in real life, then you'll find yourself reaching for bad

habits that can fulfill this need.

That's why so many people nowadays are addicted to things like social media or even pornography.

So many young men nowadays watch pornography because it tricks your brain into thinking

that you are being loved by dozens of women unconditionally.

In order to combat this we need to work on our social skills.

We need to be able to hold deep and meaningful conversations with the people in real life.

If you're having trouble with any of this I do have a couple of videos on communication

skills which I will link to in the description below.

The 5th fundamental human need is growth.

We human beings need to see progress or improvement in our lives.

We need to see that if we're working on something every single day that we're getting better

or getting better results.

This is why so many people with good paying jobs still end up quitting after a while because

they see no room for improvement.

They see very little to no increases in pay, they see no opportunity to climb within the

company and because of this they feel a strong urge to leave.

Now you don't need necessarily need to see progress at work, a lot of people fulfill

their need for progress by reaching for their goals.

Someone who starts hitting the gym on a regular will see clear progress in the amount of weight

he can lift as well as in his body.

If you do not have some sort of positive growth in your life then you're going to look for

it elsewhere.

Many people find progress in their addictions.

Although they build more and more tolerance to their substance of choice and their addictions

get worse and worse, they stay around because that fulfills their need for progress.

It just so happens that this progress isn't good for us.

In order to combat this we need to make sure that we're making positive progress somewhere

in our lives.

This is why focusing on self-improvement, watching videos like this, and applying the

lessons to our lives is so powerful.

Because building good new habits and working on ourselves can fulfill this need.

The 6th and final fundamental human need is contribution.

Studies have actually found that a large majority of the happiest people in the world are the

ones who give backWhen you provide happiness for others that makes you happy as well.

It shows you that you're capable of giving value to others, and this ties back with the

fundamental need to feel significant.

Now this need can be fulfilled in a couple of ways.

You can give back to the community.

Do some community service, help out your friends and family whenever they're in need, and you

can also do this by working on yourself so that you can bring more to the table.

If you work on your social skills and become a happier person you can make others around

you happier as well.

And that's it these are the 6 fundamental human needs that we need to fulfill.

If you are lacking in any of these areas you will find it near impossible to overcome your

addiction.

And this is because your addiction is fulfilling the need for you.

This is the final video of the Tamed Course.

At this point you now know everything you need to know in order to overcome your addiction.

If you don't I suggest you click on the link in the description below and re-watch some

of the lessons.

But I will sum up our strategy one last time to make sure that you're on the right path.

In order for us to overcome our addictions we need to fulfill the 6 fundamental human

needs.

We do this by using our knowledge of willpower and habits to building a single keystone habit.

This keystone habit will make us stronger and allow us to build other good habits down

the line.

So continue to focus on building your keystone habits.

Get it to the line of automaticity which again can take up to 9 months and start fulfilling

your 6 fundamental human needs.

As each of the 6 are being naturally fulfilled you should find it easier and easier to stay

away from your addiction of choice.

And eventually it will no longer be a major problem in your life.

The Tamed Course was made possible with the help of the Patrons of this channel.

If you've found any value in this course and would like to give back as well as help me

continue to make courses like this down the line then I'd be truly grateful if you could

become a patron too.

All of my patrons receive perks and benefits which you can find out more about here

The Tamed Course may be over but I may occasionally add additional videos to the course if I ever

come across any valuable information.

So I wish you the best of luck in overcoming your addiction and stay tuned.

Sam Quek Reveals Team GB Hockey's Beauty Secrets | Fashion Behind The Games - Duration: 2:01.

(STYLE GAME)

Meet Sam Quek.

She is a hockey player for Team GB

and Gold Medal winner from the Rio 2016 Olympic Games.

A rebel, on and off the field.

And, yes,

she is a super fan of the Liverpool Football Club.

We are at Old Trafford,

the home of Manchester United Football Club.

I'm going to go on the channel called Man United TV.

We join her just before an interview

to know all the beauty secrets of Team GB.

How's the stadium?

You know what? It's smaller than it looks on TV.

Nicola is a midfielder in my GB team.

So she was one of the 16 who got a Gold Medal.

Yeah, normally before a game, when we go out to play,

we like to do our hair and make-up, don't we, Nic?

I take care of my appearance,

but once I cross over the line and I'm playing

then I don't care what I look like,

I just want to win. So whether my face is red or

I'm sweating, that doesn't matter

as long as I win - that's all that matters.

Nicola often has her hair like this, actually.

- Yeah. - Since she has, like,

some plaits or braids sometimes.

I go for just a normal ponytail

and I don't like any hair in my face.

And I also like to wear a headband.

Headband, it's a fashion!

- Yes. - Headbands!

And then we like to wear mascara, eyeliner,

like Nic's getting done now.

We obviously wouldn't wear this much make-up

if we were playing a game.

No, as in, this would not happen.

All the girls in the team agree that the kit

has to look good and fit comfortably

so you can perform to the best of your ability.

Girls, quick question -

who would you say is the most fashionable team

in Olympic Hockey?

Oh, erm...

I quite like the Argies.

Yeah, Argentina girls.

They seem good fun and...

When you see them, they're wearing cool stuff.

And what about Team GB?

- We've got a fashionable team. - Yeah.

- So we're number one. - Yeah!

Hill Attacks | Indoor Cycle Training Up The Passo Gardena - Duration: 38:26.

- Well, hello.

This is the Passo Gardena Hill Attack session.

I'm a little bit nervous, but let's give it ago.

It's a beautiful day.

Here we go.

Well, thanks very much, Matt.

This is the Passo Gardena Hill Attack session,

taking place, of course, on the Passo Gardena

and there is the beautiful climb itself,

nestled just on the edge of Corvara,

in the Alta Badia region of the Dolomites.

This is a pretty tough session

aiming improve your climbing,

but in particular,

your climbing,

your fast climbing, your attack set.

Hill attacks for a reason,

replicating an effort out on the road.

You're gonna go very, very deep, indeed.

Now, the first little bit of this session,

just warming us up

for three minutes.

Start at a nice, easy effort level of two,

taking it up to a perceived effort level of five.

Then we'll ride for a further three minutes at tempo.

So that would be a perceived effort level

of around seven,

all at about 90 RPM.

Just get yourself bedded in 'cause these

particular intervals are very, very hard indeed.

And the intervals

are gonna be done

at an effort level 10,

so basically flat out.

There's nine of those,

but we're gonna mix up the cadence a little bit.

So the first attack that we do,

in about four or five minutes time,

once we're nice and warm,

is gonna be 100 RPM

for 45 seconds,

then we drop down

to three minutes riding at tempo.

So perceived effort level of seven.

So, kind of just feeling that bite

almost like sweet spot riding.

Then back up again to 45 seconds.

The second interval

will be low cadence, so there's some torque work,

but still flat out

for that 45 seconds

then back to sweet spot.

Five of those alternating

cadence-wise in the efforts

and then we have a little bit of a rest in the middle

and then we do it all again.

So the session itself,

around 41 minutes,

but pretty brutal.

I do remember this session well.

Beautiful climbs, look at it, it's a lovely day.

Snow at the top of the climb,

beautiful road surface.

So just lift our effort a little bit.

I'm using a CycleOps Hammer

and I've got the resistance

set to around 3%.

So as you can see,

we're still on the small ring,

replicating as best as it can

the kind of road feel on a climb.

Just make sure as well

that you keep those fluids topped up.

So we're already 20 seconds left

of the initial part of the warm-up.

You should really start to feel

your breathing now, I'm gonna lift it now

to tempo.

So perceived effort level of around seven

for another three minutes

and that should get us

nice and ready for this first attack

just coming in at only three minutes time.

There's not a lot of time

to recover between these attacks,

so it does replicate riding out on the road,

trying to get the wheel of a rider

that's just gone.

This will help really improve

your fitness, your power.

Functional Threshold Power

improves with these sorts of sessions as well,

and your ability to recover

after repeated attacks.

And even if racing isn't your thing,

let's face it, not a lot of us do race,

this will just generally help your fitness,

no end.

And these sorts of sessions,

particularly effective

if you're time-crunched,

you're working.

They are very concentrated, indeed.

I'm getting a bit nervous now actually.

(exhales loudly) Two minutes,

keep it at seven.

Keep that RPM around 90.

Here's the first part of the climb

through the town here

and it opens out

to lovely sweeping switchback corners

and opens out near the top.

The Giro d'Italia has climbed this on many occasions.

You're passing in the wheel tracks, as it were,

of some of the all-time greats of cycling.

It will get in business in time.

So just under a minute and a half now

to the first attack.

We're gonna go for high cadence for the first one.

And I want basically to go

as flat out as you can

for 45 seconds,

then knock it back down

to this effort level.

So keeping on top of it.

And as we get through the session,

it'll become increasingly more difficult

to recover between these efforts.

So that's what the purpose is.

Okay, 45 seconds to the first effort,

so get focused.

Remember, it's high cadence for the first one.

Get my ventilation as you pass to the right.

When you're doing these intervals,

wanna think about the way you,

think about the way you're putting your power

through the bike.

Stay focused.

Try not to keep it ragged.

It's a really good opportunity.

Think about your style on a bike

when you're indoors as well.

Nothing else, no other factors to consider,

just you and the machine.

Okay, here we go,

two, and one, come on, let's see it!

High cadence.

Come on.

Nearly there.

Okay.

Knock it back down.

Don't back off too much,

back to 90,

effort level of seven.

Okay.

This is the kind of

feeling you get when

you get caught by a group.

You're fighting to get back in the wheel,

get into a sort of big effort.

Just hold it.

Get on top of your style on the bike.

Get comfortable.

Get control of your breathing, unlike me.

(breathes heavily)

Let's settle into this bit of tempo,

kind of around kind of sweet spot area,

just another word for it,

sweet spot tempo.

So the kind of speed

you could sustain maybe

9 1/2, 10 1/2 maybe.

In this part,

make sure you're drinking, and also,

it's a 41-minute session,

we're not exactly going anywhere,

so give the other

muscles in your body

a bit of a rest.

No harm for a second changing up.

Keep the power down.

Keep the effort level the same.

Just use your glutes,

quads a bit of a stretch.

That's it.

No harm at all in doing that.

What a climb.

Been privileged enough with Si,

Dan, and Lasty,

spent a lot of time in this area.

Never tyre of it.

Absolutely stunning.

Know a lot of you

thinking about going out,

maybe just on holiday for a ride,

maybe ride the Maratona.

This place has gotta be

on your bucket list,

and this is the sort of session

that's gonna prepare you well

for these sorts of climbs.

Okay, you might not race over 'em,

but very often,

well, if you race

a lot outside your comfort zone,

when it hurts,

basically makes riding steady

a lot easier,

or you can ride faster

for the same effort.

So this session

will really sharpen you up

and improve your fitness,

but it hurts.

Coming up to sprint number two

for effort number two,

low cadence, this one, okay?

Two, and one, here we go!

So run up 60.

Again, these

aren't exactly the most efficient

or the most exactly efficient way of pedalling.

You're putting a lot of load

through your legs.

Same power,

you're just distributed differently,

putting a lot more force

through each pedal stroke.

Almost like weight training on a bike.

All the pros do this sort of work,

but don't do it

if you've got an injury.

Let's knock it back.

Done.

I'm not gonna talk through the next interval.

You learn something about yourself every day, don't you?

Oh, gosh.

Okay, back to 90.

Sweating a lot already.

In these longer sessions,

especially you've got an area

where you're riding

that isn't particularly well ventilated,

do your best to stay cool because

it can affect your performance.

Your heart rate will float,

slightly distorting the amount of effort

or the amount of power you can put out.

So make sure you're hydrated before,

not just during, but before.

Get a bidon on board.

If you've got two bottle cages,

which I haven't,

I'd advise you to get two bidons on board

or have one within easy reach.

Okay.

90 RPM, just tempo,

just the sort of speed you could ride this climb at,

reasonably comfortably

with a bit of a burn.

Okay, we're mixing things up.

Fitness is basically a measure

of how many efforts you can put in,

but most people could

put out a lot of power on a bike.

But asking to do it twice,

three times, four times,

over an increasing period of time,

that's where fitness comes in, basically.

This went quickly very well,

especially for a long sportive.

Because you look at the trailing that you've done,

and you think, well, there's no way

I'm ever gonna go as deep with this

on this steady sportive,

but you know you can if you want to.

So.

Remember to bring my breathing back.

So, 90 RPM.

This first set

is four intervals,

then we have a rest,

couple of minutes

that are really easy.

And then, we got five more.

Okay, 29 minutes to go.

Still a fair bit.

But believe you me,

couple of turbo sessions a week,

regardless of what your aims are in cycling,

whether it's to generally getting fitter,

trying to lose some weight,

aiming to ride your first 50 miles,

or trying to win your first race,

this is a session that everybody

can get benefit from.

So.

Next one coming up, okay?

100 RPM for this one.

25 seconds left.

You know the drill now.

Here we go!

Dig in.

Keep smooth.

Spin those legs, come on!

Nearly there!

Done, okay!

Don't stop pedalling.

Well done.

Three down.

Great stuff, guys.

Get your breathing back.

Each time

you do one of these,

it'll be harder

to get

back in control.

Putting you under a lot of stress.

That's one part one often does.

Just give stress to your body just a little bit.

You'll see improvements.

But most of all,

it just allows you to go out

and enjoy your riding.

You get far more the fitter you are,

within reason,

the more control you've got

over what you can do.

You can out with a ride

with a group that's slightly better than you,

well, and you struggle,

get a little bit of form, bit of condition.

Using these sessions,

you're getting out on the road as well,

you'll find

you soon make those gains.

We can ride along

in a group quite comfortably.

Hey, and every now and again,

dictate the pace as well.

So many benefits to get from this sort of training.

But hey,

there's no real shortcuts

for what you do get after a session like this,

is that lovely, warm afterglow.

Kick back, piece of cake,

smoothie,

cup of tea or the hot beverage of your choice, of course,

and relax and (mumbles).

That's all worth bank.

It's great.

But it might not feel like it right now.

So keep at 90.

Use this part to

really think about how you're pedalling.

90 RPM is

kind of widely considered to be the optimum cadence,

but what is optimum?

We're all different.

It's a good place to start.

That's why in this session, we're playing

with cadence a bit.

Learn to spin.

We do far more controlled acceleration.

And also learn to grind the gear too,

to help build up that resistance and that strength

and building that additional versatility

to the way you ride

and the way you use your gears

to conserve energy.

That's what the gears are for,

to make it easier.

It's more efficient to learn to use them.

And some of the best places

are indoors on the indoor trainer

with a structured session.

Often, when you're out with your mates,

you just forget.

You've been riding for an hour at 70 RPM.

It's like, okay,

let's think about breaking this up.

That's what these sessions are all about

as well as trying to get you fitter

in the process, of course.

Well, that wall has led us on nicely

to the next one.

Really an option, definitely torque here,

but here we go!

Okay, lower RPM.

That's it.

Flat out, come on!

Nearly there!

Okay.

Two minutes now,

just spinning your legs.

This is the rest, okay?

Active rest.

Take a drink.

Maybe not chat as much.

Can see here

it takes a little bit longer each time

to get back in control again,

to really knock it down.

And of course, doing these sorts of efforts,

which we actually did for this session

at the Dolomites,

went and rode these climbs,

we did this session,

well I did on this particular climb,

had to get higher

than 2,000 metres.

Yeah, it starts to tell a little bit.

And the Gardena,

I think he's 2,230, something like that,

give or take?

You can put the actual

height in the comments section for me, no doubt.

Okay, 45 seconds,

I'm gonna pick it up again.

Okay.

Okay.

So, next up

on the menu is back to tempo.

I'm not gonna suddenly throw you into the lions again.

Let's just lift things up

back to seven.

Here we go.

Three minutes.

You've got five intervals now.

Once you've got the first

interval of this second set out of the way,

we've broken the back.

I'm just gonna use this opportunity

just to get out some again.

Two or three of these

will really help out.

Just make sure to keep the effort level the same.

Control your breathing.

Yeah, chatting and riding just means that

I'm breathing just a little bit ragged.

You need to be in a bit more control.

Okay.

Here we go.

Nice tempo.

Again, sustainable kind of speed,

but there's still that bite.

You know you're kind of moving efficiently.

Kind of uncomfortable, but sustainable.

Certainly not riding at FTP,

just kind of below.

Just think about the way you're pedalling as well.

You often

neglect to think about pedalling, I mean,

on one hand, that's a good thing

'cause you're just dialled, but

it's often good to reflect and think, okay,

how am I looking, how to make any improvements.

Ask your mates to have a look at you,

have you look on a bike.

Not that you should overly worry about it.

But when you've been really

putting the power to the pedal,

think about your pedal stroke.

Okay.

Keep it nice and smooth.

Keep drinking.

And just marvel

at this view.

It is awe-inspiring.

Especially on a day like that, but

we had a few days of bad weather.

It's kind of equally as

just kind of awe-inspiring as well.

The clouds rolling in, some rain,

this epic sense of scale.

The savage beauty

the Dolomites have,

you can really feel it.

That's why

I'd urge you to come.

It's amazing.

Just getting towards that

kind of really tight switchback section.

It's right on cue

for the next effort.

For 45 seconds, remember.

Flat out.

(mumbles)

Three, two, and one.

100 RPM.

Going.

Nearly there!

Come on!

And done.

Keep pedalling.

Don't stop.

Stay with me.

Get that comfortable feeling.

As quickly as you can,

get it back

to 90 RPM,

effort level of seven.

I know it hurts.

This is what this session's all about,

limiting the time you have to recover,

replicating this sort of thing

out on the road.

It could be at the point at the end of a race,

'causing havoc, dropping people.

You just wanna survive,

or just make your riding

that much easier.

You see my pace on my climb here,

just catching this dude up.

I was kinda yo-yoing with him

for the last few k's of this climb.

I just about nearly caught him in my effort,

and in my tempo,

he's riding away.

It's a good little kind of

carrot and stick situation.

So keep those legs spinning, keep drinking.

So remind yourself of that.

Ideally, get yourself a fan if you can.

Pick 'em up really cheap,

a couple,

spent 10 pounds,

12 euros for a

couple cheap fans to stick in your garage

or your kitchen, wherever you train.

My favourite place to train back in the day

was in my garage

with the garage door open.

Nice breeze, air circulating.

So you really do have to

think seriously about

hydration and ventilation,

and that's no joke, this isn't just a cliche.

It's kinda serious stuff.

Don't wanna get too hot, overheat.

That's not great.

And also, you wanna maximise

the 40 minutes you put aside

to do this session.

If it's too hot,

you're not gonna get the most out of yourself.

Set up or prop a little track in your board

about (mumbles) within reason,

ventilation and hydration.

Get all that right

and you'll get the best session possible.

You got another one coming up.

You knew it was coming.

Here it is.

This is a low cadence one, 60 RPM.

Just try and keep your body locked.

Think about your form on the bike.

Try not to rock and roll too much.

And one, here we go.

So gear up.

Keep it going!

Nearly there!

Okay.

Okay, keep pedalling.

Your body naturally wants to kind of stop.

Push through that.

It's brutally uncomfortable.

Even if you drop to five or six

for just a few revs,

pick it back up

as soon as your breathing will allow

up to seven,

back to 90.

Three more efforts to go, guys.

You're doing brilliantly.

Think about all the gain.

And also

think about the nice piece of cake

you might have after this as well.

Although

one of my little tips

when I do these indoor sessions

is there's quite a few,

especially on the gloomy,

the gloomy months of winter,

is make yourself a smoothie.

Stick a kiwi in there,

an apple,

little bit of water,

some frozen cherries as far as fruits,

banana.

I always love a bit of spinach as well,

and some ground nuts, seeds.

Blend that up and have that

ready for when you get off your bike,

'cause these sessions take a lot out of you.

And although it's a short session,

you still wanna make sure

you get that fuel back on board

within that golden window.

And there's nothing as tasty and wholesome

as a smoothie. (mumbles)

And actually, I have feeling,

back in the day on this channel,

Simon and Dan made some smoothies.

Might be able to find them somewhere.

Different haircuts back then, of course,

but the same smoothie principles apply.

So

just over 12 minutes.

Now you've broken the back of the session, guys.

Fantastic work.

Keep the legs spinning at 90.

Think about how you sit on the bike.

One of the things

that I've done pretty late in my career,

I'm not racing now, but

is kind of worked on my core.

And I found although

I'm nowhere near competitive,

I'm still reasonably fit,

it's just helped to no end on the bike.

So a thing that I would

try and introduce if you can into your routine,

five or 10 minutes a day of core work.

Again, there's some videos in the channel about that.

That just helps.

Won't increase your power,

but it will do is just make,

give your body,

will make your body into a far more stable platform

to deliver the power.

It's not about putting on bulk,

just about tightening this up.

Some people are for it, but some against it,

but you'll find most pro teams now,

all the guys are doing that sort of work

pretty much throughout the year,

Peter Sagan included.

So I do a little bit of that.

I've found it's helped massively.

Okay.

Next effort, high cadence,

45 seconds flat out, here we go!

30 seconds.

10!

Hashtag no words needed.

Okay guys, well done.

Effort level seven.

Get the legs spinning.

And the great thing about

these home trainers, the CycleOps Hammer,

is that you can adjust it

to grade it on the climb, so as you can see,

I'm doing max efforts

on the small ring,

replicating the kind of feeling

you get on a climb.

And also, another little tip,

I'm not doing it today,

but you can utilise,

if you get some blocks,

raise your front wheel up.

Yeah, stick a riser up,

elevate your front wheel slightly

just to get your body

and the bike in the type of position that you're

more of a ride feel,

which can be quite handy.

You've done

all but one of these efforts.

Coming up to the next effort,

low cadence, torque work,

focus,

and as ever, make it count, okay?

Two, one.

Keep it going.

Smooth as you can, but as hard as you can.

Okay, nearly there!

Okay.

Cool down now.

Fantastic.

Just cool it down now.

Drop it down to,

drop it down to five.

Spin those legs.

It's a brilliant effort.

Now,

we're at the top of the climb now.

We're nearly,

a little plateau over the top you can just see

the amazing view.

You can warm down for a little bit longer

than this video if you wish.

But keep drinking,

spin the legs.

Importantly, reflect back

on the hard work you've put in.

These sessions don't come easy,

but they really do pay you back.

So keep spinning.

Hey, I'm actually locking into the lowest gear.

Whew!

This is the famous hairpin section.

I'm just going over the top of the climb now

for this warm down.

Bit of a freebie,

so we've got the climb

and a bit of a descent for ya.

Bit of ice melt on the roads there.

It was really chilly and fresh.

Just look at the kind of air quality.

Absolutely beautiful.

Found myself taken aback.

So, tough climb, done and dusted.

Another good session in the bank.

Spin those legs.

Gradually reduce the effort level

as you go through.

There we go.

Here we go.

So, coming into the last minute now.

Keep those legs spinning.

Just reduce that effort.

Get back on top of your breathing.

Here we go.

Right.

Well,

thanks very much for joining us on that one.

Hope you enjoyed it.

We do have a lot more videos,

indoor training videos for you,

I'm gonna direct you to in a moment,

but if you haven't subscribed already

to GCN, the Global Cycling Network,

you can do so

by clicking on the globe for free,

Park Bench Trials Challenge | Mountain Bike Skills - Duration: 7:18.

- I've got an idea.

Let's do some challenges.

- Okay.

Challenge is good, what we got?

- That.

- What's this?

- This is the only obstacle we're allowed to ride

lets call it the Bench Challenge.

- Okay, Bench Challenge it is.

- Bench Challenge!

(techno music)

- Quite anxious about this.

Its about the same length as my whole bike.

- Yeah here your whole bike is the length of the bench.

(laughs)

- Finally hop on.

(groans loudly)

- You flipped back wheel just got on it.

- I know, I know, it's gonna be close.

(man in white shirt laughs)

'cause when I just rolled on to it

I had a feeling the front wheel was gonna go off the end.

- Alright, nice.

Cool, cool.

- I tell you what That's actually hard.

- Let's get out of here.

- Yeah.

(laughs)

Oh my gosh.

- I will kiss it.

(mumbles)

(blows kisses)

(laughs)

(techno music)

- Roll in. - Roll in.

- Stop.

Get on.

- Okay.

- Remember it's a side, hop off the other side.

- Okay.

(techno music)

- There you go, that's super trily.

Huh, that's pretty good.

I'm not good at that.

Let's have a go.

Hoo, straight up.

- I think I might have to firm my bike up a bit.

Yeah that's a little bit buggy

(laughs)

(techno music)

- Side hop, on.

- [Man] Yeah.

- Side hop, off

- [Man] Yeah.

- Side hop, on and go over the other side.

(slow techno music)

- Hoo.

- [Man] Side hop.

Yeah.

back off the same side.

- Yeah.

- [Man] Yeah.

Side hop, on.

- Hoo.

(groans)

- Oh you got (mumbles).

- I didn't pull a (mumbles).

- No, it's a challenge.

We're not playing bike so far here.

- [Man] I think I should have done it

from the same side as you (mumbles).

- Whoo.

- Nicely done. - Whoo.

Get on Johnny.

The side hop on, side hop off.

Side hop.

Look at that straight in.

Side hop off.

Side hop...

On.

- Whoo, oh

I'm sort of a (mumbles).

(claps)

Oh, that was good.

Hey, alright.

Next challenge.

- Wow, so your back wheel can only hit once?

- [Man] Your back wheel can only hit once.

- Yeah.

- Once there.

And then you're gonna get on.

But it's like a trial thing so you can like...

But you can only have three taps

- So then I can...

- Three taps.

- Three taps, right I got it.

- So you can land, that's one

then tap, then tap and you have to get on.

If you wanna get set up.

Don't sump it.

So that's one.

- No, no I haven't (mumbles).

- [Man] Yeah, yeah but that's one

that's two, that's three on

- Oh I (mumbles).

- Yes (claps hands).

Wow.

- Tell me you didn't think I was gonna to do that to him

- (mumbles) You did that really well.

I'm getting nervous.

- [Man] Oh there we go (laughs).

- I was bouncing like (mumbles)

- How was that?

- Bench Challenge.

- Yeah.

- [Man] We should do a bonus one.

(techno music)

- Side up onto the bench

side up off the bench to the other side

but as close as you can to the grass so you can side hop

onto the grass.

So there's only one hop without a bench in the grass

When you get to the grass, you're gonna like

side hop 180 into the fifth challenge.

So you're gonna go back to fifth challenge to the bench

side hop, back on the bench and then wheely off

or just get off the bench.

- Oh.

- That's the ultimate sixth challenge.

Quite right, let's drop it.

- [Man] Whoa, whoa, whoa.

- Let's do it again.

Bike is fine.

(laughter)

- [Man] Alright I'll try it again.

- I'm just thinking of that last big hop, that's why

- [Man] Yeah that was clean,

quite cleaner than me.

(laughter)

- I'm gonna do an endo-turn is that allowed?

- Yeah, yeah. - Alright, okay.

- No peddling though.

(laughter)

Oh you did one, you did one,

you did one, you did one!

(laughter)

Wow, wow, well done Johnny.

10 AWESOME Gifts To Buy With Your AMAZON GIFT CARD - Duration: 7:41.

Hey YouTube, Jim here!

Welcome to Top10Archive!

With the holiday season over, it's time for us to take stock in what really matters

– the great gaggle of gifts we walked away with!

*Ahem* I mean, family, love, and happiness… and a great gaggle of gifts!

Chances are a lot of you were bestowed Amazon gift cards, but maybe you're having a hard

time deciding what you want to spend them on.

We'd like to do something a little different and rather than educate you on a topic, we

want to give you some ideas of things you may want to buy yourself!

Each member of the Top10Archive team gave a suggestion or two and we've laid them

out for you in our convenient Top 10 format!

Be sure to show your appreciation by subscribing and dropping a comment for our incredible

team!

10.

Farting Animals Coloring Book Just as the cover of the book proclaims, "Farts

Are Funny!"

Maybe you don't agree, but writer and Jim's research assistant, Catherine, certainly thinks

so!

This coloring book would let her sit back after a long, arduous day of researching to

enjoy the peaceful serenity of coloring in crude outlines of animals… farting, of course.

Maybe our favorite part of the entire Amazon listing is the "About the Author" section,

which describes the creator of this fine coloring book, M.T.

Lott, as "like a silent but deadly fart, he cannot be stopped."

9.

Cute Banana Protector Don't you just hate it when your banana

is left out in the open, completely unprotected from the elements?

Just ask Top10Archive writer Sophie what it's like to go to snack on your banana only to

find it bruised, battered, and beaten.

She says it's terrible!

The worst thing that's ever happened to her.

No, there's no need to ask her, we promise that's what she said!

Anyway, the point is, no longer do you need to worry about carrying around your naked

banana while you have this trio of colorful protectors!

8.

Scratch Off World Map It starts off rather boring, a tan 34" x

22" (86 cm x 55 cm) map of tan continents and countries.

Then, as you start to expand your reach and travel beyond the confines of your own country,

you can scratch them off to reveal a colorful nation underneath.

This one is another suggestion of Sophie's, a world traveler in her own way.

If you're not much of a traveler, you can even use it to help get a better understanding

of the world you live in, maybe by scratching off countries as you learn more about them!

Our Top10Archive videos about various countries around the world would be a great place to

start!

7.

Universal Controller Adapter If our writers haven't proven that they're

all a little on the nerdy and dorky side, then maybe our video editor, Jonathan, can

drive the point home.

This Mayflash Universal Adapter is essential for every gamer that's partial to a specific

controller and allows compatibility of Sony console controllers on Microsoft consoles

and PC.

The entire system is plug-and-play, making it seamless to pick up your PS4 controller

and use it on your Xbox One.

Beyond the convenience of only having to worry about one controller for multiple systems,

Mayflash's adapter also works with steering wheels and fighting sticks, making it the

ultimate gaming implement.

6.

Kooty Key Germ Utility Tool Do you find yourself skeeved out when you're

in public and have to touch… well… anything?

What if there was an answer for it?

Would you jump on it immediately?

If you said yes, you're not too different from one of Archive's video editors, Billy,

who recommended this germ utility tool for everyone.

This lightweight, hard plastic keychain tool allows people to avoid touching less-than-clean

surfaces, such as door handles, toilet flushers, and even the garbage pail within your own

home.

You may look like a loon whipping out your hooked, plastic tool, but at least you'll

be a germ-free loon!

5.

Samsung Gear VR Top 10 team member and video editor Henry

wants people to indulge in the virtual side of life with Samsung's highly successful

Gear VR headset.

It may not have nearly the same power as, say, the Oculus Rift, but the Gear VR's

use of your compatible smartphone creates a rather entertaining and inexpensive introduction

to the world of virtual reality.

This specific model comes with a controller, which can be used for specific applications

that feature free character movement.

It's certainly a fun gadget, specifically one that may not eat up the entirety of your

gift card.

4.

Beardo Beard Hat It's a good thing Henry ensured you'll

still have money left over on your gift card because there is no way you should pass up

this pleasing knit cap.

Oh, but it's not just a knit cap, it also features a knit beard!

On the model used to sell the product, the Beard Hat actually looks like it may be comfortable,

though we have to assume the actual beard portion of it may get a little scratchy or

itchy.

Thankfully, should you get tired of the beard, it is detachable.

3.

Stanley Fatmax Jump Starter Okay, so maybe this isn't the most exciting

option, but you can bet, when you're stuck on the side of the road with a low tire or

dead battery, you'll wish you listened to me!

That's right, I chose the Jump Starter, a practical gift for yourself that can be

your guardian angel in those unexpected moments.

Complete with a 700-peak battery amp jump, 129 PSI air compressor, USB ports, and a high-powered

LED light, I stand by my Stanley Fatmax J7CS Jump Starter as something every car owner

should have.

Oh, stop your whining!

You think I'd forget to suggest something fun?

2.

Overpriced Walmart Gift Card How much do you love Walmart?

Enough to spend over $59 on a $50 gift card?

Beyond the strange pricing, so many things confuse me about this listing, such as the

one person that rated it 5-stars and the questions from potential buyers that just don't…

see... anything wrong with spending more on a gift card that's readily available at

your local Walmart!

Why has this not been flagged for removal or why has someone not cried foul?

Am I the crazy one?!1.

Heather Fell's Cérvelo P2 | GTN's Presenter Pro Bike - Duration: 3:15.

- Well, this is my Cervelo P2, which I had the chance

to ride on a shoot in Mallorca.

I also got to race on it in Chattanooga

at the World Championships.

(relaxed electronic music)

I actually only got on a time-trial bike

for the first earlier this year, and rode another bike

for a couple of months.

I then got on this one,

and I was amazed at how smooth it felt and how easy to ride,

and it's also pretty slick and understated.

I genuinely really love this bike.

It's a 51-inch frame, and attached to that,

we've got profile-designed T2 Wing Aero base bars,

and then the Profile-designed T4 Plus Aero bars.

On the end of those, we've got the shifters

for the Shimano Ultegra DI2.

So I'm using Shimano Ultegra front and rear Derailleurs

then Shimano Dura-Ace chain ring at 52/36,

which was quite helpful for getting up the big climb

in Chattanooga and then an 11/28 cassette on the back.

As you can see, it's using the Quarq Power Metre,

and it's the very first time I've ever ridden with power,

so racing with it was quite a new experience

obviously I didn't need to look at the numbers

going up the hill but for the rest of it,

it was really interesting,

and I managed to stick to my plan pretty well.

I've got 172.5 length cranks on the end of those,

the Shimano Ultegra pedals.

As you can see, I put Shimano 105 rim brakes

on the front, and the back,

I'm using the Vision Metron wheels,

got the 55SL on the front, and the 81SL on the back,

and then on those, running the Continental Gran Prix tyres,

at 25 MM wide, and for Chattanooga,

I put in a pressure of 190

because the roads were a little bit rough in places.

For Cevelo Aero seat posts,

and then on top of the is the ISM Adamo Prologue

split-nosed saddle, and it's actually the first time

I've ever ridden a split nose saddle,

and compared to the time-trial bike

I was on previously, this is so comfortable,

I genuinely feel like I can ride this bike all day

with no discomfort.

As we're talking about comfort,

you can see that I've still got space

left in my position isn't that aggressive,

but being pretty new to time-travel bikes

this year, I very much wanted to be comfortable

and feel confident on the bike

and then be able to have that consistent power

that I needed to target.

Well as you can see since Chattanooga,

I have actually given the bike a bit of a clean,

removed all the extra bits,

but I stored my spares behind the saddle

for the race day, and then I actually use

profile-designed Aero bottoms for my Aero bars at the front,

and then I had a bottlecage on the downtube,

but there's also options on this bike

to have a storage box on the top

for any of you nutrition.

For you weight weenies out there,

it comes in at 8.9 KGs, and just remember though,

there are none of the extras on this at the moment,

but going through my bike for this pro bike

has made me realise how much I love the P2

and I think I should get back out on it,

I just need the weather to get a little bit nicer,

if you've enjoyed this, give it a thumbs up like,

and to subscribe to GTN for free,

just click on the globe,

and if you want to have a look at Mark's pro bike,

click up here, if you want to see me riding this bike

in action, then check out my Chattanooga blog down here.

Der Untergang Österreichs - Austrian Recap - Duration: 9:36.

5..4..3..2..

Servus guys, it's me again!

(i don't give a shit about translating this shitty iCarly intro just look it up yourself you lazy bastards)

Your JosefJodeln3000!

Starring Bad lighting

Starring Terrible camera

Starring Unfunny Austrian

Norbert Hofer. I will be voting...for Norbert Hofer.

Because of my well known lack of uploads recently , I thought to myself

It would be great to make another Austrian Recap.

Formation of our government

A few things have happened in Austria! The elections were concluded 2 months ago, initially I wanted to

make a video about that topic as well, but as you know: I'm fucking lazy.

Now that that's out of the way, we can start

talking about the main topic which is the aftermath of the election! To be honest, I don't want to discuss

the results. Anyways, here's a graph of it:

He..he..here you go, election results.

Post your opinion in the comments down below, I'll read though them and delete them afterwards.

Besides, as you can see, I have a new

"studio" which really is just our so-called

basement even though it has windows and isn't

a basement at all, but we call it basement.

The lighting is shitty and this table here looks like it

would break into pieces every second which isn't quite good either. But it's better than filming

in a small room with the size of 2sqm.

What makes the election results so interesting is

that a constellation like this only came to be in the early 2000s

And well, back then, everything went wrong. And now, both of them thought once again

"Let's do dank coalition lol" Even though it was clear from the beginning that those two would

form a coalition.

(this is the inauguration)

"Because when the Green Upper House of Parliament tells me"

- "Hey! Hey! It's my turn, did you forget?!"

"You don't have to be so nervous."

- "It's my tu-urn!"

*gibberish* *Van der Bellen makes rude gesture*

- "What are you even talking about?"

"This gesture...that's not necessary!"

Best friends forever <3

The political ideology concerning the new coalition does not make me angry

No, not at all! I don't even care a little bit about that!

Okay, well

It does concern me because I'm Austrian, but that's unimportant!

But what is making me mad...

is the nickname of this coalition which possibly is the worst existing nickname.

Initially I though the so-called "Jamaica-Coalition" which was abandoned would be terrible but oh my god...

The coalition of the people's party and the Freedom Party is called "Sushi Coalition"
