Kerala an elegant wedge

of luxuriant greenery

tucked between the Western Ghats and the Arabian Sea

is a blend of both modernity and ancient traditions.

North Malabar the northern tip of Kerala has a unique culture, natural beauty and

a history of more than 2,000 years of maritime trade.

A sizeable portion of

Keralites working in the Middle East belong to this area,

they yearn for

better connectivity to their homeland

and Kannur Airport aims to service them.

Kannur Airport is a major project spread in 2300 acres

with an outlay of rupees 2,292 crore.

The present 3050 meters of runway will be extended to 4000 metres

and it will become the fourth largest runway in the country.

With a 95,000sqm

terminal building, Kannur Airport will be the eighth

largest terminal in India.

Situated around 25 kilometres from both Kannur

and Thalassery railway stations Kannur International Airport with its proximity

to Azheekal Port stands well connected.

The four-lane Kannur Airport connectivity

packages from Thalassery, Kuttiyadi, Thaliparamba and Iritty NH

will change the face of the surrounding areas as well.

The airport equipped to operate

Code E aircrafts like the Boeing B777 will soon be extended to

operate Code F aircrafts like the Airbus A380.

With six aerobridges and 48 check-in counters

the airport expects 1 million passengers in the first year and

5.08 million passengers by the year 2025.

Kannur International Airport is all set for a trial flight launch in January 2018

and full fledged passenger operations by June 2018.

The airport is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities

like CAT 1 approach lighting and Instrument Landing systems,

standard 3 x-ray machines

self check-in and baggage drop facilities are available as well.

Fire safeties of category 9. It will also have LEED gold rating for energy and

environment conservation.

The new cargo complex being constructed in nine

thousand five hundred and fifty three square meters is expected to grow to a

maximum of 75 thousand tons annual capacity by the year 2027

Introduction of freight carriers will promote the growth of traditional industries like

handloom, wood, spice and agriculture.

Kannur Airport will also enhance the tourism potential of North Malabar.

About 20 national and international airlines have expressed deep interest in

operating from Kannur.

Kannur International Airport is also included

in UDAN, the Regional Connectivity Scheme of the Government of India aimed

at making air travel affordable to boost national economic development.

In all aspects the Kannur International Airport Ltd project is not just another

Airport but a development growth center of North Malabar

Macron, in return, spoke highly of President Moon's efforts to ensure peace on the peninsula

and the rest of the world... throwing his support behind the ongoing dialogue.

As the two leaders agreed to expand bilateral cooperation and communication on various levels,

the South Korean leader invited his French counterpart to his country for the Winter

Olympics and Paralympic Games and President Macron said he will seriously look into the

possibility with gratitude.

One Sided Half Dutch Braid

Use a comb

Or in my case the end of a makeup brush

To create a side part

Then grab a good amount of hair

To split into 3 parts

And start braiding

A dutch braid is very similar to a french braid

But instead of crossing the new hair over

You're passing it from side to side underneath

Braid until you get towards the back of the head

And use your fingers to

Loosen the braid a bit throughout

Then use a bobby pin to pin the braid down

You also want to hide the bobby pin

As best as possible

And a way you can do that is

To bring the hair from the back over

And place it on top of the bobby pin

To cover it all up

The next hairstyles is a

High Half Ponytail

All you're going to do is

Grab the upper third of the hair

And tie it in a ponytail

If you want to make it more of a topknot hairstyle

You can wrap the ponytail around the center

And pin it down

But to finalize this particular look

You can wrap some hair around the hairband

To hide it from showing

The third hairstyle is a

Half Twist Braid

Grab 2 pieces from the front

And start twisting it together

Working your way to the back of the head

Once you get to the back

Bobby pin it down for the time being

And start on the other side

Leave a few strands from the very front

Out of the twist braid on the other side

To frame the face

Do the same twist braid on the other side

And then take the bobby pin out

So you can tie both braids together

With your hair tie

You can then pull out some baby hairs

From the other side

To frame the face even more

The last hairstyle is a

Double Dutch Braid

Part your hair in the middle

And you can use a hair tie

To tie one side of the hair down

To get it out of the way

While you work on the other side first

Grab some hair from the top

And start dutch braiding

Again, a dutch braid is

Going under as opposed to braiding over

And as you're braiding down

You're going to grab more hair

Each time until you get to the bottom

Tie it up with a hair tie

And then tug a little bit

To loosen the braid up

And do the same exact thing on the other side

And then the last thing you'll want to do

Is pull out some baby hairs on both sides

And then you're done!
