Sterling K. Brown Says He Keeps All of His Awards in the Garage at 2018 SAG Awards

The This Is Us star gushed about life to Giuliana Rancic on E!'s Live from the Red Carpet during

the 2018 SAG Awards on Sunday night.

Attending the event with wife Ryan Michelle Bathe, the two-time Emmy winner had nothing

but smiles about his recent, award-winning success.

Just two weeks ago, the star took home a historic Golden Globe for Best Actor in a TV Drama

as the first ever African-American male actor to win in the category.

"Life is good.

We have no complaints right now," he said to Giuliana.

"I get a chance to do what I love for a living.

I get a chance to be amongst my peers this evening.

My wife and I get a night without the kids.

What's not to love?"

The star also admitted he got about 156 texts that night after he brought home the Golden

Globe earlier this month—and one of those texts was the lady of the evening, Oprah,

whom he says is "very cool."

"I go through all of them and try to be as courteous and respond to all of them, but

it's hard to beat the queen," admitted the actor.

The grateful star all admitted that his treasure trove of acting awards is being stored in

a very special place.

He admitted, "They're all in the garage, but they look nice."

Sterling also made sure to say that it's important to remember the person he was before all the

fame.

"You know what I try to remember, just try to remember that, the person that I was before

I got to this place in life is what allowed me to be here just remain that person," said

Sterling.

"You know I felt whole and complete before this stuff started to happen I feel whole

and complete."

3 tips for women with startup ideas - Duration: 2:31.

Hello, I'm Shira and I'm Head of Social at Appscore

and I'm sitting here with Michelle Redfern

and she's going to give us some tips for women with startup ideas.

Okay, so, how many tips would you like?

Because I'm full of tips all of the time.

Between 1 and 3?

Tip number 1 is: believe in yourself.

And I know that that's really trite and over-used

but if you've got a great idea, start sketching it out,

drawing it, talking to other people and building it.

Your idea might be that one thing that's going

to make a difference for a whole lot of other people.

So, don't ever think you have to invent the next Apple iPhone,

to be a start up or a an entrepreneur.

You might have the simplest thing that's going to make a difference.

So, stop looking at it, start doing it.

Number 2: don't be an island.

It is really easy to spend a lot of time in here, a lot of time on your own

and particularly when you're a solo-preneur.

There are heaps and heaps of other women and men who are going to help you.

No one's going to steal your idea — I promise you, there are millions and millions of ideas

going around - unless you've got some really techy code stuff - but start to use your networks,

if you haven't got a network find one of like minded people that can help because bouncing

ideas helps you refine and if you have divergent thinking

it helps you to converge your thinking to get to

a really solid business proposition.

Number 3 is: don't try to be all things to all people.

Niche, niche, niche!

You can always add and create a modular growth or scale pattern.

But, find out who your market is and niche!

Really design for that market.

For me, my market is women and women in sport.

People said, 'oh wow, that's a really narrow market' and I go, really?

Women are 51% of the population in the world and sport is exploding in Australia.

Particularly female sports.

So, I would say find out who your market is and design a niche for that market.

Thank you!

That was brilliant.

My pleasure.

In a gaze, feel the moment

When your life was taken away

And recycled with the right tools

Feel this way again

Get so sick of the fire

And the constant gnashing of teeth

In recalling of a new life

The constant metal of me

I survive in, when you gave in

Move, let the light of your sky remove

The stitches of lying truths

And I will comfort the name that I identify

Scatter the ashes and follow the feeling through

Fondly thinking of the first time

Your name appeared on my tongue

Ever failing and attempting

To find the shadow of you

I can't find an excuse to waste a second alive

When there is so much to do without a reason beside

I can't finish the race without your footsteps to guide

So don't leave me behind and make me

Move, let the light of your sky remove

The stitches of lying truths

And I will comfort the name that I identify

Scatter the ashes and follow the feeling through

In a gaze, feel the moment

When your life was taken away

And recycled with the right tools

Feel this way again

I survive in, when you gave in

Move, let the light of your sky remove

The stitches of lying truths

And I will comfort the name that I identify

Scatter the ashes and follow the feeling

Move, let the light of your sky remove

The stitches of lying truths

And I will comfort the name

Scatter the ashes and follow the feeling through
