technology we're building an unhackable ballot box. It's gonna be an interesting

year so I think last year in the entire crypto ecosystem increased its market

cap by around 33 times now if that were to happen again

for another year or two we'd end up in an impossible place where the apparent

crypto market cap would be larger than the world's entire GDP so that's not

happening so the question is really when does it slow and it might be this year

but I think we'll still see some breakout token sales and some

breakout businesses that still do many many dozens or even hundreds of

multiples but I think overall we might see a slowing of the market maybe a

slowing of some of the bigger tokens but you know it's really hard to tell and

even if a slowing does occur that's still might mean ten fold or twenty fold

so we'll see.

Creepy Candy Candy | sketch (w/ narration) [CC] - Duration: 9:55.

[Music] Today we're doing something a little bit different than usual,

it's a 2x faster time-lapse, which is a lot slower than what the usual speed is.

Very close to about the actual speed that I actually draw.

It was done in the moment and this is a recording from my phone, on my iphone 6s,

using medibang paint pro so it's a bit unrendered

cuz it was just something made in the moment

for something silly. It was me thinking

"okay what if 1970s Candy Candy was more Horror inspired"

because i was thinking about actual candy and my thoughts went into another direction

and I remembered my mom's favorite anime,

which was Candy Candy, because in Latin America,

Candy Candy was one of those cute shows that got Spanish dubbed in places like Dominican Republic

and a lot of people recognize it and it was very popular

so even though it's not supposed to be horror,

it's just a cute shoujo show that lasted a long time of airing over here.

Just wanted to do something that wasn't expected of the character Candy Candy

making her creepy was something that was against her character

when she's just supposed to be a bubbly adventurous girl

in a historical time period in the 1800s.

So, I was thinking "what makes characters look creepy?".

The teeth when they're bared and have a lot of detail compared to the rest of the style of a simple art,

that can be creepy.

though it wasn't very rendered because it was done in very little time,

this is actually a 16 minute drawing thing

that the reason i was doing it so fast was because i wanted to post it fast

but I ended up taking a while to post because i wanted to put it alongside the recording

but it was a lot more difficult than i thought it would be

and I used something that I don't usually use

which is the default recording for the IPhone 6s that comes with iOS 11

where it records the screen in HD and I had to transfer it into google drive and then download it

and stuff and my rendering program couldn't handle it

because I'm using a computer that's over 5 years old and it was a low-end.

Usually, when I render videos it's stuff that it can handle which is done with like hypercam

or something on the laptop itself, so this is a bit experimental really.

A lot of effort was put into making something that was just supposed to be something simple

that it was just a 16 minute sketch and,

you know how techonology is with making things difficult.

Okay so, back onto a more interesting topic.

A good way to make things only a little bit unsettling but not really into the horror aspect

is using things that can go into the uncanny valley like before, I said that realistic teeth

in a simplistic style becomes creepy and things like that. And how baring teeth,

a smile that bares teeth is something that shows aggression.

Well, yeah, that's a part of the creepy look.

But also, when you have really wide eyed expressions

instead of with the rest of the expression wide eyed...

eyes don't express friendliness at all. So, that ended up being a part of it.

Wide-eyed expressions can usually be used for stuff that in movie posters and whatever else

is like "oh this character is crazy" or whatever.

Also somehow it ended that the eyes were a little bit more of rendering looked more unsettling somehow with the coloring.

I was just trying to make some colorings that were unusual a little bit,

like you don't usually see in natural lighting, eyes with the redness as a shadow

cuz that's not very "healthy" as a sign in color. I'm not sure, but it does go well with the vibe I was going with.

and the sickly greens with the hair, I think it also contributes well with the style.

Though, the overall color was changed a little bit later on with the gradient I used that was green

and that ended up changing it to be a bit more mystery vibe maybe?

Like more in the night than the actual colorings that I did in the beginning.

Yeah, I like how that ended up.

for something that I didn't originally spend a long time doing,

I got very attached to this art. Really. I could come back to a similar concept like this.

maybe try another way of making something like "creepy cute" or something.

OR I could do some other beloved series in an unexpected way that I have an attachment to.

Though not like those videos and article art things that you get kind of sick of that's "ultra-realistic cartoon thing"

or whatever that's kind of overdone I think.

But, Overall, I think, doing something like this when I'm not used to doing creepy things

and instead I'm used to doing "pretty" things was an OK experience.

Yeah and I'm limiting myself to a simplified thing and I'm trying to go as fast as possible for my original intent.

This was enjoyable, yeah. I'd do it again.

Scott Disick is having a hard time letting Kourtney Kardashian move on.

On tonight's episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, Scott has "an episode" after

Kourtney tells him she's getting serious with 24-year-old model boyfriend Younes Bendjima.

"So you told him you have a boyfriend, now he's doing this 'cause he knows that every

time he does that you come over there running," Khloe Kardashian tells kourt during a dramatic

phone call.

Kourtney rushed to Scott's house because of his erratic behavior.

After Scott's meltdown, Kourtney has had enough.

"I just honestly don't have the energy," Kourtney later tells Khloe and Kim Kardashian.

"So yeah I went to Scott's house because he called me and was really out of it.

He was just very aggressive.

And then I was like, 'I'm leaving!'

And then I just started crying and I was like, 'I do not need to even be here.'

And then I was like, 'Just sit down!'

Literally, you have talk to him like crazy, otherwise he won't listen.

So I'm like, 'Sit down across the room from me.

What the fuck is wrong with you?

When is it going to be enough?

I have three kids to take care of.'"

Yikes.

Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg confronts calls from many corners to recuse

herself from the high court's considerations of President Donald Trump's brief travel

ban order, given her expressed animus toward the CEO.

The Supreme Court set Monday, June 12, as the due date for challenges to the travel

ban to present their reactions.

The Trump organization has asked for sped up procedures for the situation, which means

a decision to lift or keep set up a Fourth Circuit order blocking implementation of the

request could happen moderately soon.

Ginsburg was an extremely vocal adversary of Trump's presidential candidacy, slandering

him in the media on various events the previous summer.

"He is a faker.

He has no consistency about him, "she told CNN last July.

"He says whatever comes into his head at the moment.

He really has an ego.

How has he gotten away with not turning over his tax returns?

"

At the point when asked by The Associated Press how the Supreme Court may be influenced

by a Trump administration, she stated: "I do not want to think about that possibility,

but if it should be, then everything is up for grabs."

Days later Ginsburg told The New York Times, "I can not imagine what this place would

be – I can not imagine what the country would be – with Donald Trump as our president."

She included that the possibility of Trump as president helped her to remember something

her late spouse used to state: "Now it's time for us to move to New Zealand."

Gregg Jarrett in a piece for Fox News notes that federal law requires that "[a] ny justice

… shall disqualify himself [or herself] in any proceeding in which his impartiality

might reasonably be questioned.

He shall also disqualify himself … where he has a personal bias or prejudice concerning

a party.

"

Moreover, lawyer David Weisberg in an opinion piece distributed in The Hill on Monday composes

that the legal Code of Conduct is clear in regards to Ginsburg's hostile to Trump articulations

and her need to recuse herself in the travel ban case.

The code expresses that a judge ought not "publicly endorse or oppose a candidate

for public office."

The code further states that "[a] judge … should act at all times in a manner that

promotes public confidence in the integrity and impartiality of the judiciary."

On July 13 The New York Times editorial board rebuked Ginsburg after her arrangement of

hostile to Trump comments, expressing that "Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg needs to drop

the political punditry and the name-calling."

After a day, Ginsburg issued an announcement:

"On reflection, my recent remarks in response to press inquiries were ill-advised, and I

regret making them.

Judges should avoid commenting on a candidate for public office.

In the future I will be more circumspect.

"

The previous fall liberal Harvard law educator Allen Dershowitz said that Ginsburg ought

to recuse herself from all cases including President Trump, given her past explanations.

Jarrett finishes up his opinion piece, "The noble traditions of the Supreme Court will

be compromised should Ruth Bader Ginsburg decide she is above the law and beyond the

scruples it demands."
