The best 25 dollar investment you can do! - Duration: 3:13.

Kia Ora and welcome to a new episode of Quick Clips. I'm Enny Benzonelli. In today's

episode I'm going go and talk about Kiva a nonprofit organisation, but before that

if you watch this video and you like what I'm doing please don't hesitate to

subscribe to my channel. Also don't hesitate to like this video, leave a

comment and a feedback. Constructive feedback is always welcome. In 2009 I

got introduced to kiva.org a nonprofit organization that was created in 2005 in

San Francisco. Their mission is to connect people through lending to help

alleviate poverty in the world. So in 2009 I lended my first $25.00 and after

this many years I'm still using the same $25.00 and I have helped ten different

people in seven different countries. I think it's really a smart idea because

you could donate money to people and help them out, but in my opinion what is

the motivation to really succeed in their business. When you lend money, and

Kiva lends money interest-free, you give them a motivation

to repay you and there is a certain amount of time they have to repay you. In

this period of time you'd get your money back and after that you just relend to

another person and the cycle keeps going and going and going.

The Kiva website is also very well built. Now that has been 10 years and when I go

into my settings I can check how my loans have been doing over these 10

years. So I can see that I've learned $250

I got repaid two hundred and twenty-six dollars and five cent. On the website I

can also see in which country have landed money Philippines, Kenya, Armenia,

El Salvador, Mongolia, Tajikistan, Senegal, Paraguay, Peru, and I've lended in four

different sectors retail, agriculture, food and housing. Of the ten people I've

lended money nine were woman and one was a man.

On top of the lending system Kiva as well accepts donations to cover their

administration costs which are not paid by the lender. So the $25.00 I've donated

they always get lended and not used for other costs. In the country Kiva has

field partners that make sure the ammount you have lended goes to real people and

not for criminal organisations. If you are lacking of gift ideas, Kiva allows you

as well to donate Kiva cards, so you can give the power to your friend to change lives.

Please note I'm not paid by Kiva this is

just a video I wanted to do to share you a great idea and a great organisation

that I have been supporting for 10 years even though I've only given them $25.

Find more information in the description below and don't forget if you want to

comment to this video feel free to do so, subscribe to my channel and get in touch

on social media. Thank you for watching and see you next time. Bye.

Rep. Adam Schiff Doesn't Want FISA Memo Released Because He Thinks Americans Are STUPID(VIDEO)!!! - Duration: 7:01.

Adam Schiff doesn't want FISA memo released because he thinks Americans are too stupid to understand it

here with me now is Democratic congressman Adam Schiff congressman

we're hearing a lot today from Democrats and Republicans pointing the finger the

other way we heard him call this the Trump shut down how is that productive

well look you have to have a certain level of competence to run the

government and frankly it's breathtaking that when you control everything you

still can't keep the government to open but we have a real problem and that is

you have to be able to rely on commitments that the other side makes

and no one can rely on this president you have a conversation with him at 9:00

a.m. and he changes his position three times by lunch and you just can't

operate that way I think that this is a president who doesn't really have a

strong moral conviction one way or another on most of these issues but he

allows himself to be moved by the last person he's talking with so it's

enormous ly difficult I hear what you're saying but Democrats also have control

of their own actions right you can't control what the president does

necessarily but here correct me if I'm wrong it sounds like what Democrats are

saying is they're drawing a line in the sand and if there is no compromise on

this issue of daca and I know there are other issues too but that seems to be

the big one then Democrats aren't going to vote in

favor of whatever funding bill is put before them so that means no end to the

shutdown well I think as you just heard Senator Schumer point out they did put a

compromise on the President's desk they did frankly may concessions the

president that many of us in the house aren't particularly comfortable with but

that's the nature of compromise well like funding for border security

which we don't think should be tied to the clock that this president has set

motion on these young young kids we don't think those young kids should be

used as as a bargaining chip to build a wall but nonetheless in the Senate

compromise there was language that the president wanted and it looked like

there was an understanding in the morning and then the hardliners within

the White House say you can't do that you can't do that and by noon the

the understanding is gone so look they couldn't even get their own Republican

members all of them on board in the Senate there was a role for members

flake Mike we we know Graham and and initially Senator rounds was not gonna

vote for it but or vote against it he voted for it and trying trying to

remember the fourth one but you're right it wasn't all Democrats who voted

against that funding bill a lot of Republicans voted against it because

they don't want to just keep kicking the can down the road and they believe

that's not good for the military specifically in terms of strategic I

don't think that's good either but but now the president and Republicans are

framing this as Democrats picking the dreamers putting the dreamers above the

rest of the country how do you respond to that

look the simple it is if they want to do their own budget and they don't want to

consider any democratic priorities they control everything they can do that

there ought to be a certain minimal level of willingness even when you are

in one-party rule to work with the other side and this crisis that we have with

the dreamers that yes we are very sympathetic to because these young

people don't know where their future goes beyond March this crisis was

completely of the president's own making there was no reason this clock had to be

ticking but the president said I'm going to repeal this without any resolution in

sight and so we are where we are and we feel be irresponsible to essentially

just take a bill pass a bill and leave the fate of these people to the winds we

also think it's a strong priority for us that we ought to provide health care for

kids and we ought to provide a consistent budget for the Defense

Department these are priorities for Democrats and if they want to work with

us they're going to have to give something in terms

Republicans will say we had chip funding in this bill that Democrats voted

against we have military funding in this bill that Democrats just voted against

so they have an argument to be made that we gave you what you said you just

wanted well they didn't though there was a compromise that would have

given us I think enough of what we've asked for and given them enough of what

they've asked for and it appears there was an understanding the White House

that the president would later not hold up his end of the of the understanding

so we have made sincere efforts to compromise but certain principles and

values where we're not going to give away if they want us to buy into their

budget if they want to do it on their own and they have made every effort to

do everything excluding any democratic input then go ahead you control

everything but if you come to us you can't tell us it's our way or the

highway let me ask you about the Russia investigation because they can't have

you here and not especially given how much we talked about it in the first

year of the presidency and now if you turn on any conservative media they keep

talking about this noonas memo the chairman of of the House Intelligence

Committee that he's put out there and many Republicans have taken a look at it

they want it made public can you tell us about this number what it what exactly

is it it is essentially a set of talking points that the Republican Intel staff

drafted based on the highly classified materials which most of the Republican

members were forced to acknowledge they've not even read so they don't know

how distorted these talking points are but it's part of the narrative they want

to push out and interestingly enough they've made common cause once again

with Russian BOTS because Russian BOTS are pushing their narrative out there

it's in a Redux of the campaign we have Julian Assange and WikiLeaks and Russian

trolls and BOTS saying you know hashtag whatever the GOP narrative is that ought

to tell you a lot about what's driving this and that is

I look at it and let Americans make the decision for themselves about whether

it's useful information or not well because the American people

unfortunately don't have the underlying materials and therefore they can't see

how distorted and misleading this document is the Republicans are not

saying making the make the underlying materials available to public they just

want to make the spin available the public and I think that spin which is a

fulsome attack on the FBI is just designed to attack the FBI and Bob

Muller - to circle the wagons for the White House and that's a terrible

disservice to the people hard-working people at the bureau but more than that

it's it's a disservice to the country Adam Schiff congressman thank you very

much for coming on and we really appreciate it

thank you

Look How Hard I'm Working, America - Duration: 4:38.

OVER THE WEEKEND CHUCK SCHUMER SAID THAT HE WAS FINDING IT

FRUSTRATING THAT IN HIS ATTEMPTS AT NEGOTIATING THE SHUTDOWN

DONALD TRUMP WAS BASICALLY NOWHERE TO BE FOUND, THAT HE

WASN'T ACTUALLY WORKING WHICH IS ODD BECAUSE HE IS A GREAT

DEALER, DEALMAKER AND A STABLE GENIUS BUT THE WHITE HOUSE

DIDN'T LIKE THAT SO THEY WANTED TO SHOW HOW HARD DONALD TRUMP IS

WORKING TO GET THE RIGHT SORT OF DEAL AND SO THEY PUT OUT

SOME PHOTOS AND THIS FIRST ONE IS PROBABLY MY FAVORITE.

THERE HE IS, WORKING HARD AND THIS WAS IN AN EMAIL FROM

THE WHITE HOUSE SAYING THE PRESIDENT, HARD AT WORK.

HE IS ON A PHONE.

HE TOOK UP HIS TIES I GUESS HE IS WORKING HARD.

THEN THERE'S IS NEXT ONE.

HE IS WALKING FROM ONE ROOM WHERE HE IS WORKING TO FOR

A HAVE TO ASSUME HE WILL BE WORKING.

SAME HAT.

THIS IS CALLED A PHOTO OP.

AND WE HAVE ONE MORE.

THIS ACTUALLY COULD BE A MEETING.

I THINK HE IS HANGING OUT WITH FRIENDS.

A COUPLE POINTS OF PEOPLE HAVE MADE SO THIS IS NOT NEW

COMMENTARY FROM US BECAUSE IT'S OBVIOUS WHEN YOU LOOK AT

THE PICTURES.

NUMBER ONE, IT'S A PREDESIGNED PHOTO SHOOT SO BY DEFINITION,

NOT ONLY IS HE NOT WORKING AT THAT TIME HE'S TAKING WORK OUT

OF HIS SCHEDULE TO DO A PHOTO OP.

NOW HE WILL WALK RESOLUTELY FROM ONE PLACE TO ANOTHER.

BUT REMEMBER, DON'T CALM YOUR HAIR.

LET'S BUT HAD ON.

HE DIDN'T EVEN ABOUT DOING THAT.

HE HAS LIKE WAY, I DIDN'T HAVE TIME TO SHOWER, WAS

WATCHING FOX AND FRIENDS ALL MORNING.

THERE'S A HAT ON AND THEY DO MY FAVORITE, PULL

UP THE FIRST PICTURE ONE MORE TIME BECAUSE I WANT TO GIVE

CREDIT TO AN EDITOR AT THE DAILY BEAST.

SHE SAID: I TOO CONDUCT MOST OF MY IMPORTANT WORK WITH A PHONE IN

MY HAND AND NOTHING ON MY DESK WHILE STARING VACANTLY OFF INTO SPACE.

EXCELLENT WORK ON THAT TWEET.

WHAT IS HE DOING?

WHO IS HE CALLING?

IT IS OBVIOUS THAT HE IS NOT THE MIDDLE OF WORK BECAUSE HE

IS LOOKING AT THE CAMERA.

HE CAN HELP HIMSELF.

THESE PHOTOS CAME OUT AND IT JUST MAKE THE WHOLE ORGANIZATION

LOOK RIDICULOUS BUT I ACTUALLY FEEL A LITTLE BIT BAD FOR THE

PHOTOGRAPHER AND WHOEVER SET IT UP, I AM SURE THAT THEY REALIZED

HOW RIDICULOUS IT LOOKED AND I BET THEY WANTED TO MAKE IT LOOK

LIKE HE WAS REALLY WORKING FOR HIS LADY LAZY ASS, THAT'S

PROBABLY THE BEST HE WOULD DO FOR THEM.

I WAS AT THE DESK, I DON'T WANT TO DEAL WITH THEM.

I ALSO FEEL LITTLE BIT BAD FOR HIM BECAUSE I WENT TO THE ARCTIC

FOR A COUPLE OF MONTHS LAST YEAR TO PRODUCE A DOCK YOU SERIES

WHICH IS ABOUT COME OUT AND FOR THE MOST PART, I'M BEING FILMED

AS WE ARE JUST GOING ABOUT OUR DATE, BUT FOR PROMOS AND STUFF

WE HAD TO DO A FEW SHOTS WHERE THEY ARE LIKE, WALK ALONG

THE FJORD, WALK TOWARD THE CAMERA SLOW AND I DID IT.

I FELT RIDICULOUS.

TO TRUMP THAT IS WORKING.

HE IS LIKE WHAT YOU MEAN, I GAVE THE APPEARANCE OF WORKING.

ISN'T THAT WORK?

WHAT ELSE WOULD HE BE DOING THAT WOULD HE BE READING A

BRIEFING MEMO?

HE DOESN'T READ.

IF THEY WERE GOING TO DO THIS AND HAVE ANY CREDIBILITY AT ALL,

DON'T GET ME WRONG GUYS, POLITICIANS OF ALL STRIPES TO

PHOTO OPS.

SOME OF THEM GO WELL COME SOMEONE DON'T, YOUR MEMBER THE

PHOTO OP THAT BUSH DID DURING KATRINA WHERE HE FLEW OVER

AND WAS LOOKING OUTSIDE THE WINDOW OF THE PLANE.

THAT WAS A TERRIBLE PHOTO OP BUT IT WAS A PHOTO OP.

OBAMA DOES THEM WELL.

THE PHOTO THEY TOOK WHEN THEY WERE KILLING BIN LADEN IN

THE SITUATION ROOM, THAT IS A GOLDEN PHOTO UP.

THEY PLANNED TO HAVE A PHOTOGRAPHER THERE BECAUSE

THEY WERE AWARE THEY ARE GOING TO PUT THAT PICTURE OUT

LATER, BUT THEY DIDN'T ALL POSE.

THEY WERE GOOFBALLS LIKE TRUMP GOING OKAY, HERE I AM ON

THE PHONE.

PROBABLY THE FOG PHOTOGRAPHER TOOK 1 MILLION PICTURES AND

TOOK THE ONE THAT MADE THEM LOOK LIST AND PUT IT OUT THERE.

JUST KNOW WHAT IS GOING ON IN THE WORLD AND HOW POLITICS

WORKS BUT TRUMP CAN'T EVEN DO THAT RIGHT BECAUSE THEY

HAVE NO EXAMPLES OF WHAT HE WOULD LOOK LIKE WHEN HE IS

WORKING BECAUSE HE NEVER WORKS SO EVEN THE PHOTOGRAPHER

DOESN'T KNOW HOW TO PUT IT TOGETHER, THE STAFFERS

DON'T KNOW HOW TO PUT IT TOGETHER.

THEY WERE GOING TO DO IT RIGHT AND IT WAS REAL, HE WOULD HAVE

INVITED CONGRESSMAN TO THE WHITE HOUSE AND THEY BE WORKING ON AN

NEGOTIATION AND A DEAL AND IN THE MIDST OF THAT THEY WOULD

TAKE 1000 PICTURES AND THEN TAKE ONE THAT LOOKS COOL BUT HE

DIDN'T INVITE ANY CONGRESSMEN BECAUSE HE IS NOT DOING ANY

WORK.
