Hi everybody! I would like to talk to you about Laura Makabresku.

She is a polish photographer with an extremely personal style.

If I had to quote it in two references, I'd say it's between Virgin Suicide and Alice in Wonderland.

As in Virgine Suicide, there is the notion of waiting in intimacy, and with great gentleness.

There is a little similar post-traumatic atmosphere.

She uses dull colors and the bodies present in the photos seem emptied of their vitality.

Through this disturbed mise en scene, the photographer gives to see his unhappiness

without being able to speak about it or to express it.

The reason I like him so much is because his photos are very rich in reading.

At the same time, the stagings are very organic,

we can feel the grains of the skins, the sensor perfectly renders volumes, materials, we feel close to her,
