We secure our most valuable belongings in safes

but that's not enough to stop all criminals.

October 30,

at Petty's Motel in Lufkin,

five thieves stole a safe from an apartment

attached to the motel's office.

This is video of the crime

but the criminals haven't been identified,

so Crime Stoppers has a reward for the first,

most accurate anonymous tip

that helps investigators put them in jail.

The thieves,

four women and one man,

were described by a witness as

"Middle Easterners".

When they arrived at the motel,

two women distracted the employee

by asking to see motel rooms.

While they were away,

the other women searched through the office

and attached apartment

looking for anything of value to steal.

When they found their prize,

a three-foot-tall security safe,

the man helped them drag it to their car

and cram it into the backseat.

They drove a white Mercedes-Benz E230

and the license plate is clearly visible

but the plate isn't registered in any state.

Some distinctive markings on the car

are an outline of what might be a yeti

(Bigfoot, not the cooler)

and "I ♡ JB".

With the employee approaching,

the thieves stuffed themselves into the car

and drove away.

#StrikeBackVideoathon and Unboxing [CC] - Duration: 6:01.

Hi, YouTube, it's Kathy.

Welcome to my channel, and an irregular video.

I say that because I usually do a video on Mondays where I talk about everything I've

read, watched, and listened to that week, and then I just kind of make videos whenever

else I feel like it.

I don't know about you, but my subscription feed has been filled with people talking about

the recent changes with YouTube, and I'm not going to rehash what those recent changes

are because I'm sure by this point you know.

As a small creator, and somebody also based in Canada, I demonetized my videos ages ago

because I was weirded out by this whole being paid by an American corporation even though

I don't have a work visa, and I know it's not that scary, but it just felt weird to

me and I knew that I wasn't going to get paid any time soon, so I just figured I'd opt out anyway.

That being said, what I'm actually here for is the community feeling, and something interesting

about BookTube is they are banding together and trying to get as many small creators past

the thresholds as possible, which I think is amazing.

One of the campaigns to do that is called the [#StrikeBackVideoathon] where some people

have put together 30 video challenges.

So, basically, 30 videos to upload up until the monetization changes come into effect.

And although I love me a daily video challenge, and I would love to upload a video every day

for the next 30 days, I don't have access to daylight hours and even right now when

I'm using daylight hours, because it rains here all Winter, uh, yeah, I can't really

film all the time [with decent lighting].

Not to mention, my roommate was nice enough to, like, leave the apartment today, and that's

not always the case.

I mean, he's always nice, but he can't always just leave.

So I'm going to be taking part and doing some of those videos, but not all of them.

I will leave links to all three creators as well as a list of all of the 30 video challenges

So basically, all of that preamble boils down to I'm gonna be doing a few more videos than

usual in the next little while.

For the other portion of this video, I got book mail.

This is the Winter edition of the Book Bath Box, and I'm very excited because this is

the last of my subscription.

So this is the last time I get to open this box, not only because it's costly to get it

shipped to Canada because Canada also makes you pay duties on it, but because Winx is

also closing up shop in a couple of sessions, so there won't be any more after a couple

of more sessions.

If you've been with me for a while, you know I make a point of every Wednesday, sitting

in my bath tub with a book and a beverage, so obviously this box speaks to my soul and

my needs in life.

So I'm just really excited to open it, and I figure that would be something I could do

on camera for you, so let's do that.

I've already cut the tape, because I'm smart.

Wooah!

It already smells good. So excited.

Okay, so Winter is Time & Space - already, obviously very excited by this, and I'm not

gonna read the back of the card because that tells you what is in the box, and No Spoilers.

She is one of the sweetest people.

She actually made a custom change to my box.

Apparently there is a cookie that includes dairy that went out with all of the regular

boxes, and because I'm allergic to dairy, and vegan, but mostly because I'm allergic

to dairy, she switched that out for something else.

So I get something special because I can't have dairy, which is just the sweetest.

I just love the logo - like, I'm so sad that this is ending.

I'm very, very sad and I'm very, very sad that I couldn't get every single box, because,

like, this is my aesthetic.

So the first thing I pulled out is something from Fizzy Fairy Apothecary, which just makes

me super excited.

This is going to be a bath bomb.

I'm going to take it out of the box.

I don't want to rip the sticker, but I'm going to.

I hurt my back at work, so I'm pretty useless at doing most things right now.

Okay, here we go.

Ooooh, that's pretty.

So this is a beautiful bath bomb, and it is called the Time Travel Bath Bomb.

These were actually custom made for this box!

That's so cool!

Apparently the cover of the book for this box is also the same colours as this

bath bomb, so that's exciting.

It has scents of white grapefruit, fresh tangerine, and, uh, some other good smelling, great things,

and it comes with something sparkly inside.

So, super excited.

Next we have a candle from Natura Amantis.

Oooh, pine, evergreen, and spruce is what it says, and yep, that's what it smells like.

It's called Verity.

Oh, yes, I like.

I approve.

Instead of getting a cookie, I got this lip balm which I'm very excited for.

It is Pineapple and Tangerine, and those are just great flavours.

And it is super wrapped in plastic, otherwise I would open it.

I - oop!

Yes, this was an excellent substitution.

Rep. Trey Gowdy said Tuesday on Fox News that in the most recently revealed texts between

FBI officials Peter Strzok and Lisa Page, the officials discussed "how to avoid texts

being captured and secured," and showed a "manifest bias" against the president.

It is manifest bias, not just against Trump, but against his kids, against his business

interest.

There's a text where they hope the Trump Hotel fails.

That is a level of bias that you rarely see and you never see from law enforcement officers."

"What's also troubling to me is this text that Johnny Ratcliff found last night about

this 'Secret Society.'

Now, I have no clue what that means, that was not the phraseology I used, but it's

the day after the election, it's the same two people that were discussing a little bit

later in the texts the damage they had done with the Clinton investigation and how they

could, quote, 'fix it,' and make it right.

That is a level of bias that is stunning among law enforcement officers," Gowdy stated.

The FBI recently revealed that Strzok and Page exchanged more than 50,000 texts, and

the Bureau claimed they had failed to retain texts for a five month period between December

2016 and May 2017.
