Youtube daily report Jul 4 2018

hey what's up it's Paul farmer from PaulGFarmer.com that is my blog I've

been doing these power lead system income proof and results videos since

September of 2017 that's actually what I'm gonna be talking about today imma be

sharing with you my results from power lead system if you don't know what power

lead system is power lead system is a marketing tools and training platform

that works with any business no matter what you're doing any product any

service to help you get more leads and generate more sales what it does is it

provides you tools that you can use training that will help you become a

better marketer and its really full of value pack full of value so what I'm

going to do is I don't want to make this too long and got the World Cup starting

this is a Tuesday July 3rd day before the July 4th you know Independence Day

here in the United States and I don't want to make this too long but I do want

to jump right over and if you guys want to see more of my results obviously look

at my youtube channel or go to my blog Paul G farmer dot-com

and you'll see that I've been posting results proof progress results on my

blog since September 2017 ok we are now in July 2018 so it's been a while it's

been a while you know I get people coming to me and say oh well you're full

of crap and all this well you know what if you think that go ahead go over my

blog you can see all my results I do this every week I do everything I

possibly can to be as transparent as I possibly can and let you guys see what's

going on what I'm doing how I'm doing it and how you can do it as well ok so I'm

going to jump right over to power lead system Here I am in my back office the

power lead system yeah I was asleep it here

and as you can see all my bars here are green okay so now you could be just a

customer power lead system use the products use the tools use the training

just as a customer never tap into the compensation plan and that's completely

fine and there are people that do that but if you want to create another stream

of income without really doing any extra work then you might want to be you may

want to consider becoming an affiliate because the compensation plan is quite

lucrative okay so as you can see all my bars are green

I'm gonna come right back to that first I'm gonna jump over to my Commission's

earn because I know that's what people want to see I know what you want to see

you want to see that this is working there's proof there's progress as

results so let's just do that and as you can see right now as we sit

for this week this week is just start it on Sunday this is Tuesday as you can see

I'm at seven hundred twenty dollars okay for the week so I really haven't done a

whole lot this week been watching the World Cup once you have some things in

place the system kind of takes over now does that happen right away no it

doesn't happen right away takes a little bit of time you got to develop your

skill set your mindset that kind of thing but the way this thing is designed

I'm gonna go over that in just a minute is you focus on basically a couple

things one or two things and you do them repeatedly over and over and over and

your income will grow as a result of that okay so as you can see I've met 320

residual income I have one social profit Academy at four hundred so that's seven

or twenty dollars we jump to the next week or the last week last week I did

just over twenty five hundred dollars for the week

now again that's not the month that is actually the week and the reason that

happens is because one I'm positioned to earn all the position to earn the most

money a position or involves money that's that's one thing that you really

have to understand and many new people just don't get this they don't

understand this they will start at the lowest level

and set themselves up to make the least amount of money that's what they're

doing instead of starting people that understand positioning leverage they

understand that when you have the ability to earn more but you're still

doing the same amount of work well that just makes sense you're gonna

earn more right so as you can see this was my last week and I had a 560

residual income okay and I'll go over these numbers just a little bit I'm

gonna go back to the other screen but 560 residual social profit Academy those

are $400 commissions he does two of those 800 dollars I had a master traffic

Institute that was a thousand dollars okay and then I had a master traffic

override for my team so my team had purchased master traffic institute they

had someone purchase a split pay and I got $100 for that normally you get 200

if it's a full pay but I got 100 just because my team had that program and

someone purchased it from him now if my team didn't have that program the

thousand dollars would have came to me nor the the $500 only the 500 and that

case cuz was split pay would have rolled up to me so as you can see this is a

very lucrative compensation plan this can really build into something nice you

know forget this 2,000 mark what if you could just do 500 extra a month I know

many people if they just had an extra $500 a month that would make a

tremendous difference that's like a full-on car payment right there so that

would make a tremendous difference in their life just for $500 a month now

understand I'm doing well beyond that and I have been for a very long time in

fact if we go back in time let me see if I could show this all right we're gonna

go back in time to the very beginning 2015 is when I started this program I

did literally nothing I used it as a as a customer I mean I wasn't affiliate but

I wasn't really marketing it the reason I was a marketing it is because I wasn't

positioned to make the most money I hope you are listening to what I'm saying

here because this was a big factor for me this

something that literally changed everything for me because I wasn't

positioned to make the most money and the reason and because of that has a

consequence I didn't market power lead system

instead I used the product I use the tools I used the training which is great

but I didn't make much money from this program because I wasn't positioned to

make the most because mentally in my mind

psychologically right I was thinking hey you know what's the point there's no

point I'm not positioned the most I'm gonna lose sales if I go market it so

that is what happens when people come in at the very lowest level is you don't

really have that motivation you know how the desire you don't have that drive

that incentive to really get ahead to really do what takes to get ahead but

boom when I decided nearly two years later September 2017 enough was enough I

was gonna make this thing work because you know I I'd always known this was a

great program they always pay on time I like the training I like the products

I've been using the products for a good amount of time but I just never marketed

it and the reason was I wasn't all in that was the main reason and once I did

I literally went from $50 to making $50 in a week not even every week to two

thousand dollars over two thousand dollars after about three weeks of

taking this seriously now is that gonna happen for you I don't know I don't know

what your work ethic is I don't know what your skill set is I don't know what

your desire is I don't know if you're gonna set an intention to make it happen

no matter what like I did because that's what I did I sent an intention so when I

decided to purchase platinum which was at that time the highest level I set an

intention I'm saying I'm making this thing happen I'm gonna create a full

time income with this program no matter what that was what I was thinking in my

head so I hope you're getting some value here bringing in some golden nuggets

because this is it position yourself to make the most and

then mentally you know set an intention not like oh I'm gonna try it and see

what's gonna happen no that will never ever work for you you need to set an

intention you need to be definite in your purpose right definite if it's not

definite it's not gonna happen so this is the this is what the pitfalls come

you know that so many people experiences because they don't set that intention

they go oh well I'm gonna try it I'm gonna see if it works and it sake it

doesn't and then no matter how many times I say hey you need to position

yourself to make the most money look at my example they start at the lowest

level so strike one strike two and then strike three is whatever you know losing

focus not taking the actions needed to really get ahead and you're up better

you're off to something else and following the same cycle all over again

okay so heed my warning take my advice I mean I show up every

week and I share my results of it I give you my advice this is this is what it

takes this is how you do it you position yourself to make the most

so as you can see 32 bucks I'm gonna go scroll through these kind of fast so as

you can see I mean I'm just scrolling through kind of fast there's really just

nothing here 20 bucks 20 bucks 20 bucks 40 bucks six dollars forty bucks and

it's pretty much the same way all the way down all the way down doesn't change

all the way down I just wasn't taking it serious there's 120 it was a big deal

for me that week I was like wow hundred twenty and then so we get see all the

way through 2017 I wasn't doing hardly anything and then we get to September

stell September not doing anything 21 bucks 50 bucks boom now it changes okay

so what happened there was I decided to go all-in in my business so you could

see night and day black and white complete change almost instantly when I

decided to purchase all the products get all into my business focus set

intention that I was gonna make it happen no matter what you could see the

change like that fast I'm not say it's gonna happen for you like that but

that's how it happened for me I literally went from 52 for 13 to 732

over 2000 calculate look 1724 october first over two thousand dollars paid so

does that happen for everybody no not it's not gonna happen for everybody

because not everybody has that drive not everybody has that passion many people

are to go well I'm just gonna try see if it works and then as as you go through I

mean it it fluctuates a little bit because during this period I say it's

about three weeks three months of following the training we provide

following a proven plan which we provide and just doing that consistently about

three months it took me to make a consistent full-time income that's about

how long it took me okay as you can see it kind of fluctuates because I'm

building out my team and then I get to we just jump to January so we got

through the holidays and we come into January and right away here we are three

thousand four hundred seventy dollars okay two thousand and I have not been

below a thousand since the beginning of this year for the week and now that's

not a month I'm not talking about I'm talking any week again I ask you what

could that do for you what if it's just a thousand a month 500 extra a month

what could do that do for you what could that do for your family I mean just

think about that what if you were making two thousand a week I mean or more three

thousand week four thousand week now some of you may not comprehend that at

all maybe that doesn't register it for you right now

and I'm nine say now what if it's just a couple hundred bucks

and it's really not that difficult to get there especially for position to

make the most money this thing has a snowball effect but you have to be

positioned for that snowball effect and you have to focus be focused and follow

a proven plan which we give you we give a proven plan all right so these are

simple simple concepts and as you can see as I go through I had tons in $2,000

week's bunch of you know over a thousand and right now my newest one is two

thousand five hundred fifty okay the week before that was lower but again

it's still over a thousand dollars guys I work about two hours two hours a day

that's what I do now I'm not saying you do that begin at the beginning I was

working more than that because I said it my business okay so here we go I'm it's

been maybe two more minutes on this I'm gonna wrap it up I don't want this to be

too long so I'm just gonna go over how this kind of works and so you have gold

gold if you're an affiliate $30 plus 2397 that is 53 97 a month that covers

everything all the basic stuff that's gonna earn you $20 residual income and

50% match that means there's someone on your team at the Gold level goes out

makes a thousand bucks make five hundred and make two thousand mix a thousand

okay that's where every single gold number

you have all right and we have diamond these are all one-time payments below

this is the only residual income you don't get to skip this many people want

to skip it because it's a monthly income you don't get a skip it it's not

possible so you have to do this please don't get discouraged don't get

scared because it's a monthly income a monthly opportunity right because you

can earn wait wait I'm not proven to proving it to you you can learn way more

than your fifty three ninety seven all right so that's not something you should

get scared about that's not something that should be a deal breaker for you

really it should be all like make residual income that's awesome you know

because that's really what pays your bills is that residual income now the

stuff that gets you ahead and allows you to have lifestyle is free I'd see if

it's one hundred forty seven dollars one-time pays 100 dollar commissions

social profit Academy is 497 one-time pays four hundred dollar commissions and

then a master traffic Institute pays is 1497 one time pays $1,000 commissions

the $200 overrides and all these are packed full of training gold is packed

full of tools and training but Beth traffic is tues we're all our top

earners in power leases and some of our top earners came together and teach all

kinds of strategies on internet marketing how to get more leads how to

make more sales and how to do anything from YouTube blogging paid traffic

magazine articles doing magazine ads postcards SMS and so much more is in

there so that is like the big big product there and that is the one that

really changes things for you really quick okay so the very last thing I want

to do before I wrap this up is I want to explain to you what it is I do to get

the results I get okay so so we use something is it's called a funnel and

basically it's just a machine that works for you 24/7 and what it does is it

collects information from people and it shares what the product is what it does

how it's going to benefit them automatically and then it sends out

emails that educates follows-up and and and helps people see you know what it's

about and how it benefits them so that is a funnel and your job with the funnel

once you have your funnel set up which is is really a quite a simple task we do

have fast or training show you how to do that if you just don't want to bother

with it you could pay $50 and get that set up no problem we'll set it up for

you okay my team you know so the way it works is

you have a capture page people with their information there's an offer

something enticing they're gonna put their information you're gonna capture

their email this is not unlike if you go to say for example Kohl's department

store you go into Kohl's you go to buy something they ask for your email they

ask for your phone number whatever they're collecting data so they can

follow up with you there's sales funnels everywhere this is just online

but there are sales funnels in all kinds of there's all kinds of examples of

sales funnels I'm not going to be going over that in this video but you can look

at all kinds of examples so we you get the email they put their email the next

thing they do they go to a sales page so they're going to see a sales page right

here and it basically just explains what the product is what it does how it can

benefit them there's a short video about five minutes long and they go through

the sales page that can learn about the products they can learn about the

compensation plan and then at the very bottom there's a nice button that goes

over the benefits bullets see you know numbers and then start my free seven-day

trial and that's how it works and then from there emails go out so really the

only things you I focus on okay this is what I focus on getting people to my

funnel that's what I focus on getting people to see this page or a page that's

similar we have many different pages this is not the only page entering their

email so they go to the sales page and then the follow up process starts and I

can write emails I can create content that you know is a value like this this

content here I'm sharing what the system does I'm sharing my approve progress

results and that's all there is to it so really once you have your funnel set up

this here you need to get people so traffic free paid traffic now we teach

you free and paid traffic power lead system teaches you free and paid traffic

and you just rinse and repeat you get traffic you follow up you get traffic

you follow up and there's really not much more to it now there are little

little things that you need to learn like how to rank videos and things like

that I mean you don't have to do a video but video is very powerful but if you

just understand funnel the high converting funnel get traffic okay we do

have a traffic source in our on our team I also reveal different

traffic sources in my own private group you just got to be a diamond there and

be in that group and you just focus on that traffic we need people to see your

offer your funnel go through your funnel and following up getting them to know I

can trust you those are the things that make this work and then what happens as

a result is people start to see the different products in their back office

okay so when someone comes in this is all gonna be read so every single time

they log in they're gonna see this it's gonna be red one will be green the rest

will be red depending on how many proxy purchased and it's gonna be a reminder

to them that they could be earning more right so the system just kind of goes to

work and does its thing they do live training Wednesday and Thursday we my

team freedom takers has a training every Sunday where we share results and what

we're doing to do that you get to meet some of our team people of all walks of

life that are having success that are following the proven plan are using this

simple system so really it's just a matter of getting started going to leads

are flowing dot-com the link is right below this video did he start at taking

your 7 day free trial I do recommend you do at least diamond

ok so we have the diamond blitz group which is 90 days of training most of us

gonna be recorded now because we've been going through it teaching you exactly

what to do holding you by the hand going step by step what to do to build your

business I also have my own private group or I have tons of resources I

pretty much share everything I do in that group so just so I can help you get

those kind of results I mean I don't really hold back I'd give everything

away in there you just have to be a diamond member there as well gold

diamond or above or above but that's it okay you just focus you stay focused and

that is how it changes okay that is how you start creating more income in your

life that's how you create another income stream but that's all I got for

today that went longer than I wanted to do I want to go watch the World Cup so

I'm going get off here be sure to click the link

right below WWE are flowing calm and I will see you on the inside be sure to

subscribe I do videos quite often they're not always about power lead

system so you know but they are about helping you with mindset and and skills

and understanding how you can create a full time income online and how simple

it really can be okay so with that I'll see you on the next one bye for now

you

BBC Sport shock as Alan Shearer BLASTS Colombia off-air: - Duration: 2:28.

England beat Colombia 4-3 on penalties to sneak into the quarter-finals of the World Cup

It is the furthest they have got in the tournament since 2002 and triggered wild celebrations across the country

Former England striker Shearer was watching the game as part of the BBC's punditry team

And the 47-year-old could not contain his emotions after Eric Dier's winning penalty

In leaked footage on the Mirror website, Shearer can be seen sitting next to fellow pundit Jermaine Jenas

He said: "We don't even care. Whatever way you want we'll just talk about it.  "Who gives a s**t

We'll smile and be happy and say 'Well done lads'. "Colombia you cheating, robbing

f*****g." Gary Lineker can then be heard laughing out of shot. It is believed former England star Shearer was frustrated with Colombia's tactics during the 120 minutes of action in Moscow

Shearer wasn't the only one displeased with Colombia's tactics. BBC 5Live pundit Chris Waddle has called on FIFA to fine the Colombian FA over their players' antics

"I hope Colombia get a hefty fine with whatever happens in this game," he said. "I feel sorry for the referee who should have been waving red cards instead of yellow ones

" The South American side picked up six bookings in an ill-tempered performance seemingly designed to disrupt the Three Lions

Gareth Southgate's men were seconds away from going through in normal time until Yerry Mina popped up to make it 1-1 in stoppage time

The match eventually went to penalties, where Jordan Pickford proved the hero with a vital save before Dier smashed home the winner

Super Netball celebrates Aboriginal culture with inaugural Indigenous round - Duration: 10:51.

Super Netball celebrates Aboriginal culture with inaugural Indigenous round

This weekend, the entire Super Netball family will celebrate Indigenous culture for the first time.

In the past we've seen clubs such as the Adelaide Thunderbirds and West Coast Fever wear Indigenous style dresses — but this is the first time there will be an official round with Australia's first nations designs on the outfits of all teams involved in the domestic league.

The NSW Swifts and Giants both unveiled their uniforms in Darling Harbour on Wednesday, with a strong focus on the importance this round has for Indigenous culture, netball as a sport, and broader Australian society.

The Swifts have used artwork by Kamilario/Gamilaraay artist Dennis Golding, the man behind the 2018 South Sydney Rabbitohs Indigenous jersey and last year's Wallabies Indigenous jersey.

The Giants dress, designed by 16-year-old up-and-coming Indigenous netballer Krystal Dallinger, includes links to her previous home in Dubbo, where she resides now in Newcastle, and the rivers that connect those two places.

A talent discovered by Giants defender Sam Poolman during one of her ASPIRE coaching sessions, Dallinger was present with family and school friends at the Giants' private unveiling on Tuesday with a smoke ceremony and various important guests.

Poolman said she could tell the Hunter Sports High student was a creative player the first time they met, but only realised she was creative in an art sense when Dallinger gave her a Giants hat covered in Indigenous art as a thank you for her coaching and mentor support.

"From my first dealings with Krystal I realised she is a very creative player but also the type of kid that just takes every opportunity and wanted to listen and learn, so she definitely stood out," Poolman said.

"And then hearing about her netball journey, how her single mum and her packed up and left their family in Dubbo to find more opportunity 12 months ago, that was special.

Poolman was quick to put Dallinger's name forward as a potential artist when the team first found out Super Netball would be holding an Indigenous round, and the Giants gave her free reign to paint her own story for the dress.

"Krystal cried when we told her and she actually went back to Dubbo, spoke to her family members in more depth about her background and got them to help with the inspiration and ideas that all came together," Poolman said.

"It not only reflects her netball pathway, but the influence her family has had in the journey, the importance of her community and how we all come together to share a love for netball.

"Us Giants being all about family and the community, it really represented what we're all about.

But is it enough?.

Currently, Queensland Firebird Jemma Mi Mi is the only Indigenous player registered in a Super Netball team.

In the Australian Netball League (ANL) — Super Netball's feeder competition — Canberra shooter Beryl Friday is also a standalone entity.

Yet 3 per cent of registered participants with Netball Australia identified themselves as Indigenous in 2017 and as of June 30th this year, 5 per cent of NSW's total participants also identified themselves as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander.

There are two indigenous players in the U19s team and just one out of 55 players in the Swifts and Giants Super Netball and ANL setup — so the question is, where and why do the numbers drop off?.

Earlier in the year, when the GWS Giants unveiled their 2018 Indigenous AFL jersey, both the Giants ANL and Super Netball teams were present.

Former Diamond and captain of the Giants, Kim Green, said a group of seven or so girls stayed back to have coffee after that event and it's there that Friday gave them a feel for what this round was about.

"She sat with us for about an hour and it was just an impromptu [talk], where we were asking questions about how she felt about reconciliation and what she's gone through and what her family's gone through and getting an understanding of what that means and what makes her as a person today," Green said.

"It really sparked some thought in our players.

We walked away from that meeting and went straight to our management team and said we want to do this right and understand why we're wearing the dress and who we're wearing it for.".

Friday, a proud Kuku Yalanji, Kaantju, Birrigubba and Kamilaroi woman, agrees that the round is a huge step in the right direction for Netball Australia.

Fond of the Giants dress in particular, she believes the way her club went about the design is a great way to include Indigenous culture.

"On a broader scale this is just representation at a national level and just a chance to prove that we're still here and important," Friday said.

"It's a sense of being proud.

We're still here, we're still the oldest surviving culture in the world and we're still fighting for equal rights and equal opportunity.

"I don't know of any other girls who played ANL who are Aboriginal and to me that's not enough.

If you look at football we aren't short of talent so the question is what are we doing with our pathways.

"The last woman to play netball for Australia retired 20 years ago.

There's still a massive gap for what we can do for Indigenous pathways and participation rates and this is a great step but it also needs to be used as a platform for further growth in this space.".

Targeted performance camps.

In July last year, Netball Australia held it's very first Indigenous high performance camp.

Lead by Netball Australia's Reconciliation Action Plan, 21 Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples gathered for three days under the mentor of former Australian Diamonds representatives Marcia Ella-Duncan, Sharon Finnan-White and Diamonds coach Lisa Alexander.

At the time, Netball CEO Marne Fechner said the camp was an opportunity for two-way learnings.

"To develop the Diamonds of the future, while also building our understanding of the cultural connections that gives these players such incredible strength," she said.

There are no plans for a 2018 edition — but there are already discussions being held for one in 2019.

Netball NSW did hold a specialist coaching course for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in May of this year at the Mt Druitt Netball Association.

The camps have already had an impact, with Friday crediting the July camp in prolonging her time in the sport.

"I had retired at the end of my Queensland Premier season last year — and that camp convinced me to keep playing," she said.

Netball Australia hopes this weekend's Indigenous round will help attract a whole lot more Indigenous players to the sport as part of their "increased efforts" to provide an "inclusive environment for all Australians".

The organisation also highlighted the theme of this year's NAIDOC week, 'Because of her, we can', as one that makes Netball Australia's recognition of Indigenous culture particularly timely.

Buying a $169,000 House ATL 🏠 Pros + Cons of New Construction Homes | JEN TALKS FOREVER - Duration: 18:57.

hi I'm Jan and you may have found this channel through a video I made a while

ago called we bought and lived in a $47,000 house I've gotten a few

requests to talk about more house stories more home purchasing homes

selling stuff so I thought why not talk about the house after that which cost us

a lot more than $47,000 this was a house in Atlanta it was in a suburb of Atlanta

and we paid a hundred and sixty nine thousand dollars for this house but

here's the big difference the forty-seven thousand dollar house was

built in 1950s this house that we paid significantly more for was new

construction so I sort of wanted to go over some of the differences that we

have found from living in an older home to living in a brand-new house because

there is a very large difference so we've been looking for a house in the

Atlanta area around 2014 and prices had recovered quite a bit from when we

bought the forty seven thousand dollar house so when I first moved to Atlanta

you could find houses all over the place for like 50 grand 70 grand and when we

were first looking we were definitely thinking along that price range clearly

we're very cheap and we like to find good deals so we were hoping to find a

house that was definitely under $75,000 but here's what we ran into the Atlanta

market for homes was pretty interesting and what I mean by that is that it was

very difficult to find a well-maintained home that was in our price range in fact

it was really hard to find something that was in good shape for under a

hundred and fifty thousand dollars I'm not kidding you

we looked at quite a few homes that were 10 20 years old in that were like almost

tear downs they had extreme termite damage and really bad mold issues and

those two things or something you don't want in a house I've heard somebody say

that water is one of the biggest enemies to a house and

so true you do not want you do not want mold in the house it literally can

destroy the entire house and termites can also clearly do a lot of damage to a

house and one thing I would like to say there's a big difference between dry

wood termites and subterranean termites the forty-seven thousand dollar house we

had in Florida at one point had dry wood termites but those are like the slower

moving ones we saw a lot of homes in the Atlanta area that had subterranean

termite damage and those suckers do damage really quickly so that's not

something you want we saw some homes that were built in the

90s that we weren't even sure how they were still standing we also noticed that

a lot of the homes we saw in Atlanta just we're not well taken care of we're

not maintained it almost kind of seemed like the people that were buying these

houses they like stretch themselves to the limit and then they didn't have the

cash to pay for all the things that come with homeownership and there are quite a

few costs that come with owning a home it is not always cheaper than renting do

not believe that that is not that is not the truth I hear people be like oh well

you're just throwing your money or your what away on rent and owning is so much

better in some circumstances that may be the case but owning a home can be very

expensive and if you don't have cash to pay for it you could get yourself into

some trouble here so when we're looking at homes we the price range we were

looking at kept going up and up because we were just we're not finding anything

suitable and we were not gonna get into a home that was that was had a lot of

surprises or had projects that were like where we were in over our heads for

instance we've been on one house this house had some potential it was it was

mostly brick it had a really cool basement with super high ceilings

although there was some radon in it and but the biggest issues were definitely

you needed a new roof it had animal damage and there were some structural

things going on with it like it had a fireplace with a chimney

and the chimney looked like it was seriously like falling away from the

house and it definitely had some like cracks in the brickwork and it was it

was one of those homes I believe it was a short sale or something like that but

they were not we put in a bid but the people were not willing to remediate

remediate some of the damage so we ended up like walking away from it so

eventually we came across this builder that was building new construction homes

in a suburb of Atlanta that was not too far away from downtown at the time I

worked downtown so I needed to have a commute that wasn't super crazy and

something you should know about the Atlanta area is that traffic is insane

so even if you live a few miles from work it could take you an hour to get

there I'm not kidding you so which part of town you live in is super important

especially depending on where you work so we found this builder that was

building and what had happened was during the recession in like 2007-2008

somebody had run out of money they had started building this community like

they put in a road I think they put in like the underground electrical and then

they ended up not doing anything with it so our home builder ended up buying that

land and then decided to build 50 homes there so when I found this neighborhood

no one had purchased city homes there the price ranges for the homes were like

169 to like 180 something so we decided to go with that because in here's why

it's because at least this home this home was about 20 grand more than the

150 price range we had kind of been at for a while but at least we knew this

home wouldn't have any major issues and right off the bat because it was

brand-new so we decided to do that it was too late along in the process for us

to pick out a lot of the finishings so some of the stuff in this house and I'll

show you some before pictures some of the finishes were definitely not what

I've chosen like the cabinet color was was pretty bad the wall color was horror

it was very unflattering we ended up having to get the whole house painted

later on I'll show you some before and after pictures and like some of the I

think I have to pick out the type of light fixtures like what color they were

and I think I got to pick out the carpet which the carpet ended up being an okay

color fairly neutral and we ended up just keeping that now these are very

these are very builder grade homes so there was no like tile like the

bathrooms all the bathrooms in kitchen all had like linoleum or like vinyl

flooring you know the shower just had like the bathrooms just had that like

fiberglass insert thing you know so I get again these this was just very

builder-grade stuff so we ended up going with this

house it was a four bedroom two and a half bath house with the two-car garage

I also made sure to pick this because we were the first people to move in I

picked out a lot where we only had one immediate neighbor to the right of our

to the left of our house if you're looking at it straight on there was a

little bit of a wooded area and then there was another house across the

street there was like a little bit like a retention pond or something so we

didn't have a neighbor across the street we just had a neighbor to the right side

of her house and again I'll try to show you some pictures Sam was a good selling

point our house was the cheapest house in the entire subdivision and we ended

up being the first people to move in by like a couple months so some things you

should know about new construction homes the good is that our utility bills were

super low because everything was like up to the latest codes and standards for

building our utility bills were lower in the four bedroom house then in a

one-bedroom apartment in Atlanta I'm not kidding you our electric bill was lower

in the house and at least we knew that we didn't have any like major home

maintenance to go along with it for a while so that was good

some of the downsides are I would say so we've ran into this pretty major issue

with mail delivery apparently our builder in the United

States Postal Service had a bit of a miscommunication so let me talk about

that so when we first moved into the house they put in mailboxes forever

one and I tried like I I assumed mail would be getting there so I changed her

address to this address the address was existing with the post office but like

through some back-and-forth I learned that the post office has some newer

regulations that any newer home instead of getting into individual mailboxes I

think this is for logistics purposes and again to kind of cut some corners a new

neighborhoods apparently are required to have what's called a cluster box or like

that kiosk with mailboxes in it and our builder apparently did not get the

message also when we moved in I had to call the county our builder kind of

dropped the ball on a few things again this is a lower-priced new

construction still a good deal I mean now where can you find a brand new

single-family home for under 200 it's a little bit tough now but I felt like at

the time that was the the best option for this situation

so the Builder had definitely not dotted all their eyes and crossed all their T's

with some of the government stuff so when I called the county we were living

in they apparently didn't know anyone was living in the neighborhood we had no

street signs so like we technically didn't exist I had trouble getting

deliveries of mail like delivery services even pizza for two years people

had trouble finding her house it took a while before the neighborhood was on

Google Maps so that's something I did not anticipate about moving into new

construction that you should definitely know about if you're if you're getting

into that especially knowing that new neighborhoods you won't you won't get

your own mailbox you'll have one of those kind of unsightly kiosks which

after going back and forth the Builder argued with the post office for awhile

and then finally ended up relenting and getting the cluster box but for six

months the post office refused to deliver bail to us which was was super

fun and when I would go to the post office they would get me a really hard

time about it and I'm like look people you

it's not my fault that the Builder you know didn't communicate with you guys

and did not put in these cluster boxes why are you taking it out on me so that

was sort of that was definitely a very frustrating experience also the fact

that I had to call to get our own streets line also a little irritating

and I will say a lot of these home building companies definitely look at

their customer service because after the sale it was very difficult to get in

touch with our builder and to get any sort of response or some sort of help or

assistance from them I finally ended up getting the email to the prom' building

company president and he ended up being the one to kind of take care of the post

office issue but the salesperson I'd been working with like totally ghosted

me and and kind of lied to the president saying that she'd helped me when she

really hadn't I ended up being the one to be the liaison with the post office

and that was a total nightmare I probably spent 40 to 50 hours alone just

working on that seriously this company should have put me on the payroll so

that's one gripe I have about moving into a new construction home but I'm

sure not all companies are like that you just I would say if you're looking at

new construction definitely look at the service record talk to previous

customers and look at reviews to see like post sale is this company

responsive will they take care of issues after they sell you the house or are

they just gonna leave you high and dry like my builder did so that was

definitely very frustrating it was really nice being in a newer home

especially after being in that 1950s house again just things were up to date

although I will say because we were in kind of a lower price new construction

home the finished work out our house is a little shoddy like they used the wrong

caulk and all the trim so after we were there for a while like it was pretty

obvious that it was not working with the trim again things were pretty

builder-grade so we ended up upgrading things later on but again this was not

like the finest quality work I've ever seen in a house but for 169 you know we

weren't really complain about it so we ended up doing

some we didn't have to do a whole lot to the house although since since we were

in a four-bedroom house and we have no kids and we don't really entertain a lot

I know not everything's like the people on hgtv's house hunters

we ended up turning our living dining room into a workshop for my husband like

a woodworking shop so we ripped out the carpet I will link some photos I'll try

to insert some photos because I do have a few of those so because it was built

on a slab there were no there were no basements in this house although

interestingly enough these houses went really quickly so by the end of like

they were building these houses one by one towards the end they jacked up the

prices on some of the later homes and they started putting in some nicer

features this was a good thing because that kind of brought the value of our

home up as well like they started doing some cool architectural stuff like no

sir garage doors some of the later homes have wrought iron railings on the

staircases inside ours did not so they they were starting to realize hey we can

drop a little more money into these homes and people pay for them and a

couple of the houses in our neighborhood actually had a walk a walk up bait like

a like a walk in basement which was pretty cool so I think the last house in

her neighborhood sold for two hundred and twelve thousand dollars and at the

end of this video I'll kind of share with you what we sold it for and also

what what's happening with the neighborhood at the end of the time we

were living there we did transition that back into a living dining room just for

resale purposes we've realized not everyone wants a workshop in their house

so we decided to do that and the garage is in the these this subdivision they

weren't very large so you had room to park your cars in there but not a whole

lot else although somehow my husband figured out how to get a riding

lawnmower into the garage like very carefully we were the only people in the

neighborhood with a riding lawnmower and we also had a very small lot which is

another story but my husband really wanted it so towards the end we decided

to sell the house home we're really going up and one of our

neighbors had sold their house for like two I think 25 and they didn't really do

anything to it so we had a realtor come in we worked with a realtor named

Lindsay Kessler I'll leave her information below because she was she

was good to work with she gave us some suggestions for what we could do to the

house she suggested painting the cabinets white putting in a solid

surface countertop that did not come standard with our house

and she had us repaint the whole house and do just some minor things like she

had us replace the carpet and the living dining room with engineered hardwood

which we ended up doing I did another video on our home makeover so I will

also link that below and up in the cards if you want to take a look and get more

of an in-depth look at what we did to the home but we ended up spending about

10,000 dollars and while we initially bought our house for one hundred and

sixty nine thousand nine hundred dollars we didn't up selling it for 225 so two

hundred and twenty five thousand dollars and we only put about ten grand into it

so we ended up definitely getting all that money back and we ended up walking

away from the sale we got a check we got checker wired into our bank account

sixty-eight thousand dollars so we got all of our downpayment back we got all

of the money we put into the house and a little bit more so we ended up using all

of that money to pay off our student loans so that's how we became debt-free

which is which is a cool story I know I've talked a little bit about that here

on this channel and I definitely plan to do more with that but I will say one

another benefit to paint a little bit more for the house which was definitely

something we did not plan for is that the house appreciated more as well like

for instance we sold our previous house we bought it for 47 and we sold it for

85 so that was a price increase of about $40,000 but this house we had a price

increase of of definitely about Lexie so we bought

for about little under 170 so we had a appreciation of it

$50,000 plus we got the the down payment back so one benefit to pay more for

house is that you have more room to go up so anyways I just wanted to share a

little bit about our latest house if you're interested I was thinking about

talking about a condo before I met my husband I was a homeowner when I

probably shouldn't have been but I bought a 64 thousand dollar condo in El

Paso Texas unfortunately I really have no photos of the place so that's why

I've been sort of hesitating about talking about that particular home

purchase just because I don't really have any visuals but leave me a comment

below if you'd like me to talk about it anyways I would be happy to I'm just you

know I just realized a lot of people want to see pictures of the house and I

I didn't have enough foresight to realize that I would be doing this later

on so I don't have any really good photos so anyways if you have any

questions about home ownership or just want to leave me a comment or a thought

let me know what you think I'm Jen I love talking about just about anything

and I'll see you again for another video
