Hello, everyone. Welcome back to Beaver's Hobby channel.

And to the 2nd update of my WLtoys RWD drift car project.

In this video I'm going to solve 2 things. First is the centre shaft and 2nd is the steering angle.

I'm still experimenting at this point so please don't expect too much.

Before we begin I'd like to tell you the premise of this project is to see what I can build with limited resource from scrap

and parts that are easily found on the Internet without 3D printing.

With that out of the ways, let's get started.

Actually you can cut the centre shaft to length and then wrap something over the end but I want to keep it as a spare for my other car.

So Ill make a short one out of a M2 bolt by filing down the end of it to create a flat spot.

Here it is; a working short centre shaft to hold rear pinion gear.

Now I can put it in the car.

I also swap solid axle from CS mod for original gear ratio making the car slower and to have better acceleration.

Now I have all the space at the front and I'm going to put the servo in the middle like this.

Here is a piece of plastic that I found so I'm going to drill it and mount this ESC and the receiver on this piece and on to the back.

I'm doing this to weight down the back to increase rear traction.

As always, I stick everything down with double sided tape.

I'll use the parts from Mini-Q rear hub kit to modify the front suspension and steering.

This kit has 2 linkages and 6 ball heads.

This is the servo horn I'll be using. I have to drill 2 2mm holes on it to put ball links on.

And this is how the steering is going to be.

To increase the steering angle, first let's cut the back of front bulkhead off to give the steering knuckles more clearance.

As for the steering knuckles, cut the old ball head off.

Trim the plastic bracing that would interfere with the new ball head off.

Drill a new hole with 1.5mm drill bit further in.

And then cut the back of the knuckle off.

Put a M2 Screw through.

And close it with the ball head.

This ball doesn't allow much articulation so I might have to fix it later.

Now I'm going to re-do the monoshock.

First, let's prepare the shock by turning the ball socket to the same side.

And then use ball head with screw to mount the shocks on to upper arms.

Don't screw it in too deep otherwise the suspension arm won't work.

This is what my new monoshock system looks like.

I'm going to stick the servo down with double sided tape.

To properly stick the gyro down you need to use soft double sided tape and maybe stacking it up to reduce the vibration even further.

After a bit of tweaking this is the result.

In the end I have to put a spacer on each knuckle so the steering now looks like this.

The battery is also held down with double sided tape.

This is the steering angle.

I also add some weight to the front.

Now let's go for test drive.

I'm a bit surprised that with only better steering angle the car becomes much more controllable.

But I'm still not very comfortable driving it.

So next time I'm going to try to figure out a way to increase the steering angle even more,

fix the Ackermann and add some caster.

what's up fishtank people all Dustin's fishtanks bring it to you setting up 125

gallon aquarium if you missed it last week we did the hardscaped hardscapes

the hard part yeah it's fun part now it's time for the super fun part now

it's time for the plants and I actually have a strategy that I'm gonna use with

this here is a detailed plant listing of everything that we're bringing with this

sucker well bite as Lancelot off as le small boost gigantea you name it I'm

bringing it it's all right here in a pile

I've actually got this pre-drawn out ahead of time had a little bit of a

vision and it's actually coming we're gonna go dark to light dark on the

outside light in the middle and we're gonna work all kinds of crazy plants

into this hard scape here I'm super jacked about it because I have a lot of

awesome hardy plants this tank is not dirted so we're gonna have to feed it

which I'm going to show you guys throughout this video so if you like

let's get after it so bulb itis right here the tips got a little dried out

it's okay I'll completely be fine once it gets back in the water will bite us

who talati i'm gonna go each side so I've got one side for mellitus another

side right here so I've got brightest all day long super Hardy comes from

Africa and we're gonna start with the darkest plants work our way into

gradually less dark plants in the middle what we're gonna get light and I always

like to leave a bag or in this case a bag or six things of gravel to kind of

like tie stuff down so right here I've got a little loose spot beau Biden's can

have its rhizome down and gravel no problem I'm gonna go ahead and utilize

some of this travel here as like my patchwork gravel so I'll just kind of

pour it down on there and then pull the plant out of it kind of worked it in so

I've got the bull itis over there now I want to work in the Lancelot Lance a lot

coming in pretty fire obviously all of these are available on

dustinsfishtanks.com do not leave this video

the roots not the rhizome this is all being done without water everything

that's kind of laid over a little bit it'll all perk up when there's water

around it well brightest does not care favorite plants right I found that the

rhizome above itis doesn't care to be buried so that's how I roll

now I'm going the philosophy of this tank is dark green dark green into the

center rainbow so dark green lighter green light green yellow orange the

whole deal and while I love this piece right here

I love anubias gigantea more so it needs to come in the front this is actually a

cooler plant in my book than the one I just put it's got this trident looking

leaf on it that's just killer I'm stuffing that down in there gigantea

it's not the easiest anubius still in anubius so it's still pretty easy but

definitely my favorite and I love the dis the spearhead look - it looks yeah

that's got the leave like that with this Arrowhead leaves love it we're gonna

work some down in here - and I have tested the anubius gigantea in thus the

way I'm planning it right now so I know that it's okay with having its rhizome

stuck down

I really want a centerpiece in the gigantea in this tank it's just one of

my favorites go what do you think for tank people I don't have any opposition

this side but I kind of like it there's no off facility on that side because I

kind of like that darker and that's different over there so I'm gonna leave

that originally the plan was to have the widest gigantea Lancelot this is the

gigantea side there's no gigantea on that side there you go see if anybody

notices so we're gonna work it in now you're gonna close out the anubius

africa chapter we're gonna move into the bacopa level we're gonna get all these

plants somewhat sorted out of here

I want to go from the dark greens to the lighter green look at how this is bacopa

yellow flame at its finest you will not buy a better plant from anybody online

than me with this pickle yellow flame I guarantee it it's a bold statement but

that's pretty fire so check that out now the bacopa Maneri super duper easy plant

it's gonna give us some contrast with all the other stuff we're gonna take it

out of the rubber band and they say the Japanese say that the you know the

process of like playing with the plants is to the tank so it's how you get to

the tank per the customer's request I would be planting these significantly

deeper than I am it's not dirt it doesn't matter supercopa Maneri so it's

okay that it falls over because it's not supported by water and I like the

contrast with the Maneri in the anubius right next to it I'm gonna make this

Maneri come up the cliff just like that just like that and like this and extra

gravel got money war we got pennywort Josh

hates this plant I hated this plant got brownie love it because it just grows

like a weed does not care and it's actually perfect for back here and you

won't be able to see it initially but it'll come on strong because it's going

to be underneath standard double but it's it's gonna look real cool back

behind he's barely gonna be able to see that but in time she will come on strong

hydro cotta Lucia Walla also known as penny war

smoke OPA yellow flame but I mentioned I like this plan I just got the red flames

now honestly this plant is not gonna stay as red in here just because of lack

of nutrients I mean he's not doing the water change

as we are but it will certainly still look cool Wow Wow

I'm doing a little halftime hard scape adjustment because I want to make sure

that this log stays exactly where it is so I'm actually wiring this down which

socks it is ugly but I'll be able to cover it up with plants it doesn't

matter but I want to make sure this log is affixed to this log without any

problems so I'm gonna tighten this up and that will just make sure that this

piece stays because it's such a it's a vulnerable piece being up like that so I

want to make sure it stays on so I'll take this ugliness for what I'm gonna

get an exchange I'm gonna plan all the way through there so this all I'll be

covering in just a second all right now it's time to fill er up I told him it's

gonna be ugly the first fill is gonna be ugly because

just all the dust and everything is gonna settle I'm using this stuff this

is the accr I buy it in a huge box so that's why I have it in this Cup but

this is the deke lure time for your moment is then my friend we've got a

couple of more spots I want to work some stuff in but I want to see what's

Builderall Tutorial 67 - App Creator: How to Change Your App's Design - Duration: 4:58.

hi everyone and in this video we're going to go over the design tab inside..

of your editor okay so welcome back to the app credit tutorials and what I want

to do is simply go over the basics here and designing your app so here is where

you can choose your different template so like we did when we first came into

the app creator access to choose and we chose a blank one here if we want to

bring that back up all we have to do is select that button and then choose a

different template of our choice all right now what we can also do is change

the layout which is basically the buttons here how they're going to show

up so if I select on change my layout I'm going to get different examples of

how I can have my buttons work for me they do have some small different items

here that you can check on however if we come to all we can see everything here

so let's say for example we want to use this layout it's select just going to

load for a second for us but if we look over here on the right-hand side we see

our preview okay so this is how it's going to show up on either the iPhone 5

iPhone 6 or related sizes and I'm just gonna be for Android device here you'll

see those get bigger and smaller and this is going to be for HTML phone those

are the other phones okay so let's come back here to the five now

here's the button or the layout that we just changed select here now we have our

apps here as your list grows you can select here and then you'll have more

examples and more icons here for your clients to choose from all right so

let's come over here and go into our layout options so we can position the

menu in the middle where it's set and it's going to be relative to the screen

we can bring it up top if we want if you want to see how that looks which is safe

or we can bring it down to the bottom all right now different layouts will

have different options this depends on what you're working on and

when you're working with on the title case you can do lowercase or uppercase

so if it has a title which is going to be here it's going to be the wording

that shows up underneath each one of your features okay but we'll get into

those later if we want those to be hidden we can select hidden if you want

them visible we can as well once we save here we'll see how that change will take

effect okay we have our option saved up here select and now even though they're

white so they're hard to see we can see that we also have wording here all right

now when you come down here this is where you're going to choose your

homepage image this is what's going to show in the background of your buttons

it's not going to be on all pages however you can select for it to be on

all pages by clicking here now all you have to do is come here to change a

picture um it's going to be four different sizes for different phone

screens okay and let's come to images and let's say we use this one for an

example all right now it's going to access to crop so let's say we want this

here to be our background click OK and that is going to be our image so we can

essentially do this for each and every one it's gonna access to crop to the

recommended size all right and then if we want to use him on all of our

applications backgrounds we can select here if not we just deselect here so

that we can have different backgrounds or plane backgrounds for our other pages

I'm here you can choose whether or not you want to hide the iOS or Android

status bar which is this bar right up top so if I come over here select this

that will no longer show on our phones okay now if I come over here I can

choose our country and this is going to be important because this is gonna be

what your currency is in so let's say I come down here go to United States

dollar and then it's going to be the currency that all the transactions if

any that take place in my app are going to take or going to be in and last but

not least this is going to be the font family for your entire app I'm just

going to be the base rules that most of the fonts if not all

of the fonts are going to follow okay so if we want to be Georgia we can

choose that it's going to autosave for us alright and that is how you work with

the features and design tab I will go over the colors in the next tutorial

I'm ready it ain't gonna happen so have no expectations maybe they do manifest

themselves visually maybe you suddenly get this voice talking to you maybe you

get a feeling or a sensation maybe it's a funny taste or a funny smell for no

reason and so when you get this the first time pay attention to it because

how does it taste help you well the taste brings your attention but then

nearby so concentrate on the on the taste be willing and open and so they

can then come to you in a different way visually auditorily

feelings and sensations most often it's sort of you get intuitive thoughts and

feelings or a voice in your head they rarely manifest visually without lots

practice they do for some people however when this happens be ready for the fact

that is going to be not just not how you think it's gonna happen

but it's gonna be very subtle now some people will have this fire water flow

over them or flow through them and everything just lights up and they or

they have a halo form over their head and how it's written in religious and

spiritual texts etc yeah like that can happen

you know it's written in those texts but most often it's gonna be subtle so in

the process however long it takes be aware all day every day because it

can happen anytime a day it can be when you least need it to happen but if it

happens then be aware that it's happened okay if you're in a meeting and you

can't stop and talk to them just be aware that they're present thank them

for their presence internally something I'm gonna get to in a minute and then

try again is another time and just keep going and eventually it's gonna happen

when you're at a point that you can talk to them and as I said it'll start out

subtly but this will grow in time now once it's happened however it happens

and you've noticed it's happened one thing you need to be aware of with

spirits is first of all they don't do well with fear so if you have feelings

of anxiety or whatever when it happens they're gonna quickly go away again

imagine you're talking to someone you highly respect but that isn't superior

to you so not like a boss and isn't inferior to you it's as someone who's

equal to you so you might be someone in charge of a project

you have to manage other people you're not superior to those other people and

if you think you are you're very mistaken you are equal to those people

but yet you have to give them sort of commands and information the spirit

guides and the spirits in general really like this so be respectful be polite

speak in direct questions if you want questions answered they may choose to

answer them they may not you may ask a question they might give you an

intuitive thought as a response or they might show you an image so be aware of

the way they answer it so ask the right questions no dilly-dallying um off of

her hoja haha and you'll get the answers you want from them as I said be grateful

be thankful be respectful and the more you do it the better you're going to get

at it that is really all there is to it as long as you remember no fear no

anxiety just be aware of it don't be oh we'll be doing it happened

yeah when it happens but respectful be thankful ask what you want to ask if you

want to ask understand that their answers may not come in a way you think

they might not even come in the form of a conversation the answers might come a

couple of days later that's absolutely fine this is how you contact a spirit

hi everyone I hope you're well. Do not pay attention to my head. I will wash my

right now, about what I'm going to use in the next few weeks, since

I'm starting new products which I thought could be to

interesting. I thought I really need to do my care because I have an itchy head

and I go on a trip Friday this week I think

I'll vlog pretty much all the week and by then you want to have a nice head (laughs)

I won't have too much time this week to do my cares so

it would be nice if it was done and having ... a good look (laughs) So already to start

I will use this ayurvedic shampoo that I bought on the website

mademoiselle bio it's a shampoo that I used years ago

I did not use it since ages and as I saw on the website

I thought it might be nice to reuse it. It is true that it is pretty effective against

dandruff and I also find it super soft for the hair

nice and I think from memory that I liked the smell that is a little

particular but I liked it. These last time also to wash my hair

what I was doing is that I took a bath and then I put my

head straight into the bath in the water bath to wet them then

rinse them etc ... it was super fast super efficient I just do not want to

take bath today but honestly it's a good technique

I find to do it pretty fast especially when we start to have a lot of

length, a lot of hair, if you have a bathtub available

so it's something pretty classic but I think we often forget about it (laughs)

I'm going to change my top I'm going to put on a t-shirt because it's a lot more

nice to do my care and remove my rings

I received this box with hair products and products that look

really super interesting from Miele cosmetics that I do not know at all

I am trying to see if there is a deep conditionner. There is no hair mask so sad

let's see what I have here this is a little bit of my mess so

I still have my deep conditioner from Cantu (a new bottle) that I know very well but I wanted

to change a bit today. I do not know what I'm going to use. I will stay on

my deep conditioner from Cantu. It's been a while since I did not use a mask so

I will use one today. I would like to try a new hair mask so

seal the moisture because it does not seal moisture enough

this one seals it a bit but the two combine

very well I like to finish products that

I like which makes sense but as I receive a lot of products

sometimes it's not always easy I mean... I can not oblige to sometimes I'm

very tempted to use new products that I receive but I still try

to finish the products I have that I like before testing

new ones

which is pretty cool with the Cantu's mask is that it tends to

reduce shrinkage you see that my hair is still pretty

long they are less shortened than usual that's cool and they are really

soft

when I apply my mask I detangles my hair a bit but I finish

to detangle them with my products while doing my twists. We will try the

gel styling gel from Miele the texture is surprising it's still pretty

thick and it's a very lemony smell I like it but it changes

from other products and I am going to apply a little bit of twisting butter

from Camille Rose a little less than usual we'd say

since I've also applied the gel

we will see if it's a good combo

oh sh** that's nice

I think the result will be even better

I already see my hair very well defined

this is so cool

So it's going to replace my coconut oil

I do not have it anymore ... it's true that when I apply coconut oil

it redefined my curls so the gel will replace that

so here now I use shea butter from Aullyn cosmetics

it must be heated before applying it it seals

Since God created the world in seven days, they take that number seven and then the word

day to mean whatever they want, in this case, years.

The Tribulation is mentioned by Jesus in Matthew 24.

For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world

to this time, no, nor ever shall be.

He doesn't specifically what's going to happen during it or how you even know if it's

actually happening, but there you go.

It's apparently just the period of time before the end time.

When nothing happened, Camping revised his calculations to say that the Tribulation would

last 8400 days or 23 years.

How did he come up with 23?

Numerology is the belief in a divine or mystical importance attached to certain numbers, seven

for example.

Harold Camping believed that the number seventeen signifies heaven.

Since six years of the Tribulation had already occurred, he just added seventeen, and got

twenty-three.

Twenty-three also means judgment…

apparently.

So in his fifth prediction, Camping had convinced his followers that the end would occur on

May 21, 2011.

Many of his followers sold their worldly possessions and donated all their money to his awareness

campaign.

Over 100 million dollars were spent on billboards and advertising to get the word out that the

Rapture was coming.

The Rapture is the part of Christian eschatology when all true believers are taken to Heaven

and it precedes second coming of Christ.

So, when nothing happened on May 21st, Camping declared that a "spiritual rapture" and

judgment had occurred and that the end of the world would follow 153 days later.

So Simon Peter climbed back into the boat and dragged the net ashore.

It was full of large fish, 153, but even with so many the net was not torn.

This seemingly random verse, is literally how he came up with 153 days.

What?

Which happened to be October 21, 2011, seven years ago, today.

It's almost like I planned it that way.

But Randy Macho Man Savage died the day before and stopped the Apocalypse from happening.

Hey, it's just as good of a theory as 153 fish.

Harold Camping died in 2013, otherwise I'm sure the seven year itch would have been significant

somehow.

People have been predicting the end times since basically the beginning, there is a

massive Wikipedia article listing every substantial prediction for the end of the world, going

all the way back.

It seems we can't go 2 years without someone declaring that the end is nigh.

This is despite the fact, that the bible itself says that you can't calculate or predict

the end.

But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but

only the Father.

But that doesn't stop people from trying anyway.

Like in 1833, when pastor William Miller calculated that the Second Advent of Christ, which is

just another word for the Second Coming, would be on March 21, 1844.

He arrived at this date because in 457 BC, Jerusalem was rebuilt.

The return of the Israelites to Israel is often cited as one of the signs of impending

doom, which Harold Camping also used.

It doesn't matter that in 1833, the state of Israel didn't exist, all that matters

is they attempted to rebuild it in 457 BC.

He said to me, "It will take 2,300 evenings and mornings; then the sanctuary will be reconsecrated."

So, we take 457 BC, and we add 2300 years, because day means year… and then we add

one, because the year zero didn't happen, it just went 1 BC to 1 AD… so we get 1844.

When nothing happened on March 21, they just added seven months to it, because you know…

seven.

So on October 22, 1844, the Millerites prepare for the end of the world, and much like with

Harold Camping, many of them gave up their worldly possessions.

This was the inspiration for the opening scene of Season 3 of the Leftovers.

This event, or rather, the fact that the world did not end, is known as the Great Disappointment…

Which is what my dad says about me whenever I tell him I'm a youtuber.

William Miller spent the rest of his days hiding in shame, I mean imagine googling what

was the biggest disappointment ever, and there's your name, 170 years later… nothing worse

has happened since then apparently.

The Millerites later became the Seventh-Day Adventists, who continue believing to this

day that the second coming will happen any moment now.

Much like the people who knock on your door… no, the other ones.

Jehovah's Witnesses.

Both of these churches believe that the world was created 6000 years ago.

So, Young Earth Creationists.

Or at the very least, it's been 6000 years since Adam, so we are currently in the seventh

millennium.

With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day.

So for them, a day is a thousand years, rather than just one year.

It is said in the bible that Jesus will return to Earth and usher in a thousand-year kingdom,

known as the Millennium.

Jehovah's Witnesses are trying to get that going now.

In fact, they believe that they are the earthly representatives of God's Kingdom and that

we are currently in the Millennium.

God's Kingdom was established in 1914, which is also when World War 1 started.

And since then, Jehovah's Witnesses have predicted then end of the world multiple times,

but their first prediction was 1941.

Which was when America joined World War 2, strangely enough.

Post-World War 2 America saw a huge increase in religious interest, especially when it

comes to the end of the world.

We now had bombs that could cause that, so, makes sense.

As a result, we saw the rise of Evangelicals, like Harold Camping, new religions like Scientology,

and various other cults and alternative movements.

Jehovah's Witnesses and Seventh-Day Adventists both believe in Millennialism.

That's the idea that we either are or soon will be under the thousand year reign of Christ,

which should be relatively peaceful.

This is in contrast to Millenarianism which has a more cataclysmic apocalyptic view.

Many millenarian cults came out of the 50s and 60s, including the Branch Davidians, a

splinter group from the Seventh-Day Adventists, founded in 1955.

Vernon Howell changed his name to David Koresh, believing he was a descendant of King David

from the bible.

David Koresh also identified himself as the lamb mentioned in Revelations chapter five,

meaning he is the final prophet that will usher in the second coming of Christ.

The Branch Davidians believed they were the ones who would break the Seven Seals and bring

about the end of days.

Instead, in 1993, their days were ended at their compound in Waco, Texas which was the

90s version of Sandy Hook.

Conspiracy theorists will never shut up about it.

So to avoid any of that, I'm going to point you to a few videos down below and I'm not

going to say anything else about Waco.

So stop typing.

A lot of these cults that were started in the 50s and 60s met their end in the 90s,

due in large part to the fact that original members were dying off.

Also thanks to the internet, very few cults made it through that filter.

In 1997, a UFO religion known as Heaven's Gate made headlines by committing mass suicide.

Their leader, Marshall Applewhite, believed that he was the reincarnation of Jesus.

They also believed that the Earth was going to be destroyed and that the only way to survive

was to follow Applewhite onto a spaceship which trailed the comet Hale-Bopp.

The comet was at its closest distance to Earth on March 22, 1997.

Four days later, the bodies of 39 Heaven's Gate members were found after committing mass

suicide in order to transport their spirits onto the UFO.

They mixed phenobarbital with apple sauce and vodka, then taped plastic bags around

their heads.

The expression "drinking the kool-aid" comes from Jonestown even though it was actually

the knock-off brand Flavor Aid.

But they didn't necessarily believe that the end was coming, which is good, because

I don't want this to be another 30 minute video.

Aside from the Ufologists, 1997 was an important date for end times predictions, since it was

2000 years since Jesus was born.

Yeah, you heard that correctly.

Jesus was actually born in the year 4 BC, when they set the starting point for the calendar

they didn't know that, I guess, then you add 2000, and then one because the year zero

didn't happen.

When nothing happened in 97, people moved to the year 2000, because obviously.

Numerous churches and preachers believed that the world would end in the year 2000.

So let's just talk about one.

The Unification Church was a cult founded in 1954 by Sun Myung Moon, and believed that

the Kingdom of Heaven would be established in the year 2000.

Members of this cult are known as Moonies, which is hilarious.

Jesus didn't return in the year 2000 and Moon died in 2012, so that was basically the

end of that.

Though, the next big religiously predicted date is 2033, 2000 years after Jesus died.

Just for the sake of being thorough, this is the exact same thing that happened around

the year 1000.

But let's take a step back from religion and look at the more secular predictions.

You probably remember the Y2k bug… unless you're current in high school, in which

case you were born after that….

I'm so old.

Basically, it was thought that computers wouldn't know how to interpret the date going from

99 to 00 and the power would go out, planes would drop from the sky, basically everything

that happens in Fallout.

And then of course, there was 2012, which all of you should remember.

That hysteria stemmed from the Mayan calendar, December 21, 2012 clicked over to the thirteenth

baktun, there's a Scishow episode explaining all of the cycles if you're interested.

But the Maya never predicted that the world would end.

We entered the twelfth baktun on September 18th, 1618 and nothing happened, everything

kept ticking over.

The Maya did believe that the last creation lasted thirteen baktuns, but didn't predict

how long this one would last.

Pop culture just decided we should make a big deal out of this in order to sell books

and movies.

And just for good measure, somehow brought Nostradamus into it.

Nostradamus… mmk, he… a lot of people, after something big happens, go to his poems

and look for a line that kinda sorta says what they want it to in order to say that

he predicted it.

When 2012 was a thing, they tried to say Nostradamus predicted it.

He didn't, in fact, he only ever makes one end of the world prediction and it was several

years before that.

The year 1999 seven months From the sky will come the great King of Terror.

Most people interpreted this to mean that an asteroid or comet would strike Earth in

July 1999.

Until it didn't happen, then they interpreted it to mean all sorts of things, like John

F Kennedy Jr dying.

But what would happen if a comet or asteroid were to strike the Earth?

Cheddar explored that question in their video "Is there a best case asteroid impact scenario?"

What would be better for us life here on Earth, an asteroid hitting the ground or an asteroid

hitting water?

Cheddar is a fairly new Youtube channel focusing on business, technology, media, and news but

without the boring parts.

They also seem to have quite a few videos regarding asteroid impacts on Earth.

Including and interview with the guy whose primary job is to discover and find ways to

divert asteroids.

Scientists have their own predictions for apocalyptic events, including an asteroid

impact and things like Yellowstone eventually exploding.

And of course the sun swallowing the earth and the eventual heat-death of the universe.

But a surprisingly large amount of people believe that they are currently living in

the end times…

49% of Americans… yeah.

But that shouldn't really be surprising, given all of the examples we just went through

and the countless that we didn't, it seems like every generation almost wants to be the

last generation.

That's why they pick arbitrary numbers like 2000, or 10 generations, or 153 fish.

The bible itself says that you won't know the world is going to end until it's actually

happening, so relax, because now, you know better.

Here's What a Lincoln Town Car Looks Like After 485,000 Miles - Duration: 12:42.

it's time for show-off Sunday, where everyone has a chance to show off their

own car and here's this week's winner,

the Lincoln Towncar got started you know really got going through the 80s they

were all a v8 powered rear-wheel drive body-on-frame, this car being even though

it made in 2006 is still the body-on-frame, which means it's not a

unibody it's an actual chassis frame with the body on top of it much like a

pickup truck, still a pretty big car the earlier town cars were powered by a 460

v8 engine and I had a 1979 town car with a 400 right at the late 70s cars started

getting bigger and bigger through the 70s with bigger engines and then all of

a sudden the gas crisis and all that you can do research on, engines started

getting smaller my 79 had a 400 in it that car it was a town coupe which was

basically just like the town car but only a two-door version of it but it

would match bumper to bumper to a full-size Dodge 2500 with the extended

cab long bed, that's right extended cab long bed, it

matched bumper to bumper, it was a huge car this town car this

2006 is part of the platform that's dubbed as the Ford's Panther platform

which includes Ford Crown Victoria, which you know a lot of the police cruisers

back in the 90s and in early 2000s I mean only and even up to a couple

of years ago some some places we're still using the Ford Crown Victoria but

includes the Mercury Grand Marquis, which was basically the same car just a little

bit more fancier than the Crown Vic and then you have the Lincoln Towncar and

then also for a short period of time they had a Mercury Marauder, which I'm

gonna get one of those just because that's that's a cool name I mean car

cars today just you know I mean you can have a really nice cool car like a

BMW or something like that but they call it it as an example a 740i

I mean how boring is that, this car is a daily driver and it has to date 487

thousand miles on the original build which means the original transmission

original engine, well forgive me 486 that's quite a lot

I bought it maybe four years ago it had probably four hundred and forty thousand

miles originally paid $900 for this car I bought it from, this car used to belong

to a limo company in Chicago and I'll tell you a little bit about the

executive package here in a little bit, but I bought it from a guy who bought it

from that limo company, he drove around for a while and then it developed what

he said was a leak in the back of the right engine head, it came down and

making steam come up you know along the firewall and everything well as it turns

out, it wasn't a leak out of the engine head, it was a leak from the heater core

which was about $35 and you don't even have, this car these cars are so easy to

work on, as far as change a heater core out you don't even have to pull the dash out

now it's a pain in the ass mind you to change the heater core but not having to

remove the dash, I changed the heater core in about an hour and a half try that on

on your Honda Civic or Toyota, probably all in all I probably you know in the

four years probably put you know a couple thousand dollars in parts you

know parts are not very expensive for these and you know like a lot of parts

interchange between the Crown Vic and Grand Marquis because you know like I

said, they had the same engine, there she is right there 4.6 liter v8 not to be

confused with Ford's 4.6 liter v6 which was used in an like say an expedition or

some of the f-150 pickup trucks, but I recently like said parts are cheap I

recently just replaced the intake manifold, I think the intake manifold was like

110 dollars I mean you probably couldn't even get an air filter from BMW or Audi for

for less than that and I didn't really have to change the intake is more just a

maintenance thing, it was just like, you know what I'm just gonna just go ahead

and and change it along with the EGR valve and all that kind of stuff just

something with this many miles on it you kind of got to do some preventative

maintenance and stuff like that you know, the only pulley that I haven't

changed is for the air conditioning compressor

so which you know I don't know if it's if it's able to be changed with just the

bearing or or the pulley or if I got to get in a whole new compressor. but

that's the next thing I want to change, like I said I have known many

thousands of times that thing is turned but you never know, these engines just

been known to be very reliable you know, I knew a guy owned a taxi company and

he wouldn't even buy crown vics and Mercury Grand Marquis and even some of

these town cars, he wouldn't even buy him unless they had two hundred thousand

miles or more, because he can get him for practically nothing and if he needed to

get an engine or something like that he you know it might be able to go for five

hundred dollars at a wrecking yard and be able to get one, but back to the

package the executive is actually the kind of the base package it's probably

the least fanciest and you're all your Town Car limousines are practically the

executive package, you know they're black with black interior most of them you

know you might find some find some white ones and stuff like that but most time

I've seen these executives you know and this executive package starting in 2003

I believe you know you couldn't even get this if you if you wanted this car, you

had to have a Ford fleet number which you know if you were a taxi company or a

limousine some sort of livery service company then that's where you you know

have that Ford fleet number to be able to get it, other than that they wouldn't sell

it to you, you know they had other packages they're

a little bit more fancier like, say with a sunroof and had maybe had a few gizmos

inside and and whatnot like a Signature Series a Cartier series they even had a

Jack Nicklaus Series, no not yeah can you maybe think in the

actor Jack Nicholson but no Jack Nicklaus a professional golfer and this

package actually had green shag carpet in it, that you know I guess large as a

car is you could probably set up your own putting green, I also own a 1999 town

car that was the Congressional sedan series and it had like a half Landau top

and then a bunch of chrome fake luggage rack type things on the back of it not

really into that kind of stuff myself, a matter of fact you know this cars

probably got too much chrome as it is as far as I'm concerned, but that's the way

it is but the other thing I want to point out is the is the L

here which you know like a lot of other vehicle stands for the longer wheelbase

pretty much add you know did they add it to the whole entire car cuz no they

didn't really add it to the back that looks normal

it didn't really add it to the front that all looks normal they added it

right there in the door and this for the back seating area, I mean look at that

and it is you know it opens clear out you know to told me if you're a 600

pounds sumo wrestler be able to get in there with ease, I mean that doors huge

it just sticks way out there you would want to open this up on a side street

and have a busload of nuns just come screaming by and just rip that door

right off of there, that scene is all the way back and I am 6 foot 3 inches tall

and I got plenty of leg room I can almost stretch my entire hand from the

front there and I got tons of leg room, back here please ignore my stuff sorry

about that this is a daily driver like I said, typical what you know luxury cars

have is you know you got all town cars have their heating and AC vents right

there you know but this particular one being a chauffeured car has the vanity

mirrors all that it's got got two of them you know you got your controls and

stuff for radio and heater and air conditioning and the little place here

to put a tissue box and then you get this unique button, your front seat, yes I

guess you know obviously the person sitting in that seat get a little more

leg room or annoy the passenger in front of they're just sitting there going back

and forth, got a center console there you got two

power outlets here and a place for your cord to come out with your power in the

laptop or your cell phone and if that's not enough you have here in the door an

ashtray and another one and they're actually you know that's where another

lighter a cigar lighter would be right in there and if that isn't enough you got

one on this side too, I mean heaven forbid you'd have to ask the driver

to borrow his or your passengers sitting next to you pretty much the driver

probably just said all right it's time to smoke and everybody light up, but in

here you no everything's pretty much your standard and all your controls you

got over there and seat controls and window controls and mirror controls over

there you know the thing is this cars is nice

and it's just as comfy as the most fanciest Town Car packaged it it's not

too fancy, like they're you know this thing doesn't have tire pressure

monitors which you know I mean I check my own tire pressure I don't need any of

that, but I do love the analog clock, that's a sign of a luxury vehicle having

that the analog clock somewhere on the dash, I mean your rolls-royce has it and and

what no I'm not saying this thing's any fans like rolls-royce but hey you know

this is probably a forty thousand dollar vehicle when it was brand new, well like

I said I got you know three favorite things with a car and one is that analog

clock right there and number two, look at that hood, I mean this is the exact

position right about there that I would be sitting at when I'm in this thing I

mean that hood just stretches way the heck out there, actually should've seen

it on my 79, son of a gun I mean this this car you know pretty much arrives

before before I do, maybe there's four favorite things because so you know you

got this got the column shift here you know just like in a 55 Buick I mean I

just I just absolutely love that you know there's actually a third third

seating this deal pops up it's it's named fancy open it up this way and it

also opens up that way, alright for fourth favorite thing you know what I

could list a lot of favorite things about this, I love these cars, that hood

ornament I mean it is just gorgeous look at that I mean that just you know like

I said you know the front of this car arrives well before I do I mean look at

that just totally announcing the arrival, I mean if that doesn't announce

it then then I don't know what does, I mean you pull up in this thing and it

just looks like something important is going on even, if it isn't but let's face

it you're driving a town car so kind of is important you know let me get this

if you're the only one and you're the driver you don't really drive the town car

you're driven by a town car their just comfort they just float down the road

that 4.6 probably puts over about maybe two hundred and forty horsepower or

something like that but the 4.6 that's in the Mercury Marauder, which I

mentioned earlier which is a lot like the Grand Marquis but at different

wheels actually had a floor shift not a column shift and that would

almost 400 horsepower and I think even some of the police

interceptor cruisers and stuff like that had a lot more power and you can

actually get an aluminum intake manifold for this 4.6 and you could put a

supercharger on there you can get almost over 500 horsepower out of it but you can

really get a lot of horsepower almost out of anything, but that's it now I'm

gonna take this car on the back and I'm gonna clean out the bodies that are in

the trunk and you're probably already noticing that license plate up in the window I

actually lived in Green Bay Wisconsin and that was the actual plate I had on

right this has got out of hand I have got so many finishers t-shirts from all the races

that I've done over the years they don't even fit in this box and as much as you

need some tops to train in I've got so many tops that I just either don't use

or that they're just taking up space I'm probably only training about five or six

tops through the week and as you wash them and reuse them you just don't need

all this so what am I going to do with this lot so I heard about this service

called too many tshirts and basically it's a company where you can send them

your shirts that you don't need and they're going to upcycle them into a

blanket and then you've got a nice blanket so that way you keep all of the

running mementos of that you've earned along the way you don't necessarily have

to throw them out but then they're not just junk in a cupboard that you don't

need they're gonna be a blanket that you could just doss on the sofa with or

whatever you want to do with it I contacted the company for me to

that with the thing with that is you've got to look at the design a bit you're

ready to go okay too many t-shirts I sent by collect plus we just took it down to my local Esso

station that do that service it was only down the road it was really easy I send

that off on the 11th of October and it is now the 20th of October so it was a

nine day turnaround for me here's the product let's check it out so it's been

packed with the fleece backing on the outside to keep us in suspense

trying to look at it through the screen I can't see it properly that's

really cool there is my t-shirt blanket all done and

I'm really happy with that it's preserved some great memories like this
