Lake Dallas Middle School 4-H Program - Duration: 2:11.
It was my job and purpose to find something that would
kind of breathe life back into our campus and that was 4-H. It's completely
changed the way our campus operates. Over 65% of our students who are eligible are
involved in some sort of after-school program. So when we transitioned here to
the middle school, after-school programs are difficult and we wanted to have an
opportunity during the day to engage those students in those hands-on life
skill activities hoping that it was going to enhance their entire day and
that's where we brought in Tyler Hardin. I went to the school board we asked the
Superintendent to support us in hiring full-time 4-H/AgriLife teacher for our
campus. Our first course is an intro course and it's the first nine weeks is
horticulture and then nine weeks of food and nutrition and then the second
semester we're doing nine weeks of veterinary science and then nine weeks
of photo and video editing. So at the elementary campus we started off with
just a robotics program and then as we moved on
we saw how many opportunities 4-H actually had and so we began to partner
with them with a gardening club. What I love about 4-H is that the volunteers
and the people that work for the state, they just need an avenue and then they
will just run with it and it's been an incredible relationship with Denton
County AgriLife Extension office. They have
supported us through all this and really this is all on them. They have just done
an amazing job in getting us the things that we need. It's really changed not
only our students but also quality time they spend with their parents. Thursday
night is the night they cook and they cook as a family
and so things like that are what we go back to to kind of hang our hat on to
know we're doing the right thing.

Me and my family have eczema, how to cure? Tarot Reading by A. Jodorowsky forJacky H - Duration: 11:13.
Dear
Jacky Hoang
I suppose that Hoang
is a chinese name
you're 37 years old
and you've a 3-mounth-old daughter
or 3 years old
well, you have a little daughter
your question is curious
a very curious one
because it's a medical question
you say you're very interested
in health
your health
and the health of your family
and then you specify
my health problem
that is the same problem that my family has
is the eczema
I have an eczema
invading my body
the same eczema that my family has
how to heal this?
I don't know when it begon
an that's what I want
I want to heal myself and my family
that means my husband and my little daughter
be healthy
your question is very easy but
my god! it's difficult because
if I was a doctor
I'd suggest you
a remedious against
the eczema
a skin-problem
I think you consulted some doctors
I think you transmited it to your family
and you could not cure it
you ask me for the tarot to give you the solution
you're looking for the magic to heal you because
you have to know that it's psychological problem
so we have to find the psychological problem
I suggested to some people
who had the same problem of eczema
to take french green clay, to spit on it
and to put the french green clay on the eczema
sometimes it worked
but you have it on your body, and your family too
I don't think that it can be the solution
you have to solve
a psychological problem, that's it
let's see what the tarot says
where does this thing come from?
the first card here
is the card 10
the wheel of fortune
that means the end of a cycle
there's something going up, another going down
and another who stays still
well
if you transmited
the eczema
to your husband and to your daughter
and if you have had this eczema
since you were a child
this mean that this eczema
comes from the emotional relationship
between your father and your mother
and you, between them
you were asking for attention
so the eczema
is a call for attention
you asked for it, do you understand?
and in this way you could also express your distress
distress, why?
because when the couple is in conflict
there are no more caresses
this is it!
why do I say this? because here I see the wheel of fortune
something that is stopped
and there's a crank, so that the wheel of fortune can be moved
there's the end of something
and the beginning of something else
and here we have the popess
she's enclosed here
she's your mother
that gives you the same thing
she's enclosed
because
if she's enclosed she's looking for God the father
that's what the popess is looking for
and you can see that the crown here has
4 battlements and the number 4
is the number of the emperor
the father, like if he fell down
and here there's a couple who splits up
there's a separation between your father and your mother
let's check it from the beginning
because the card 10
in the tarot, has to do with the card 20
what is the card 20?
here you have your father
your mother
and you, with the problem you cannot solve
you cannot go further
and here you are
and your husband, and your little daughter
with their feet caught in the ground
reproducing
the problem of your childhood
the problem that affects your whole life
trying to get to the healing
to the awareness
can you see it?
father
and mother separated
because of different ideals, and you in the middle
you transmit it, look at the color!
you transmit it to your daughter
you have it
and the father of your daughter has it too
prisoner
of the same problem
with his feet here in the same old problem
listening to
the call of the soul
thay says:
become aware of the problem
and here we go
to the popess, and under the popess
there's your birth
so since you were a child you have had
this problem
of separation, you already had it
and you felt it, and you suffered it
you remained alone and without caresses
the trees of the family tree are cut
they're cut
and you're alone
with your eczema, suffering
and here this flesh-colored tower
is the suffering body
and this is the eczema
the eczema attacking the body
with this balls
the father is moving away
and the couple that is splitting up
in the middle of this couple that is splitting up
you have the card 6
where the father leaves with another woman
he leaves with another woman
and then comes the emotional problem you suffer
you're transmitting
this emotional problem
the desire of having a father and a mother
caressing you
and giving you what they did not give you
so what you have to do
this is a
psychomagic advice
a birth massage
I explain it very well
in my book Metagenealogy
I will sum it up very fast now
you have to find two persons
two true therapists
well-meaning
a man and a woman
so they have to
do this ceremony
that is...
to caress your entire body
together, at the same time
with four hands,
they have to pass the four hands together
the man is here, the woman is there and you lay down in the middle
they unite their hands
and they pass the four hands
unite on your entire body
and on the other side, on your back
then
you're naked and the woman takes you with her
she's sitting, she puts you on her womb, you are in a fetal position
they cover you up with a sheet
the man caresses you like if it was your mother's womb
and they say nice things to you
we want her to be a nice girl
we don't wait for a man
we're waiting for a girl
because being a girl is amazing too, and this is what we want
a pretty girl, you will be wonderful
we love you, we adore you...1 month, 2 months
you grow up
you have all the qualities
what a love we feel for you! and then they say
now you feel the desire to be born, to have a fair and healty life
you will be born
in good healt
and they pretend that they are giving birth to you
meke your effort to be born
and we make an effort for you to be born
they take you like this
and you feel that you were born
and they hold you together
and they give you some milk
as if you were nursing your mother's breast, and they caress you
and then they dress you up with
totally new clothes
pink clothes if possible
that means girl in common meaning
and they bring you, hands in hands, to a pastry shop
and they feed you with a good pastry
in this way
you give to your unconscious
something it doesn't have and doesn't know
to be born with love
from a couple, man and woman, in love
and this can be a healing
this is what I can suggest you
a spiritual healing
that's what you miss
and what your daugther misses too
and what your husband misses
and what you miss
many thanks for listening to me

The princess who rewrote history - Leonora Neville - Duration: 4:58.
Alexios Komnenos,
Byzantine emperor,
led his army to meet the Scythian hordes
in battle.
For good luck,
he carried one of the holiest relics
in Christendom:
the veil that had belonged
to the Virgin Mary.
Unfortunately, it didn't help.
Not only was his army defeated,
but as they fled,
the Emperor was stabbed in the buttocks.
To make matters worse, a strong wind
made the relic too heavy to carry,
so he stashed it in some bushes
as he escaped.
But even as he fled,
he managed to slay some Scythians
and rescue a few comrades.
At least, this is how Alexios' daughter
Anna recounted the story,
writing nearly 60 years later.
She spent the last decade of her long life
creating a 500-page history
of her father's reign called The Alexiad.
Written in Greek, the book was modeled
after ancient Greek epics
and historical writings.
But Anna had a different, trickier task
than the writers in these traditions:
as a princess writing
about her own family,
she had to balance her loyalty to her kin
with her obligation
to portray events accurately,
navigating issues like Alexios's
embarrassing stab to the buttocks.
A lifetime of study and participation
in her father's government
prepared Anna for this undertaking.
Anna was born in 1083,
shortly after her father seized control
of the Roman Empire
following a decade of brutal civil wars
and revolts.
The empire was deep in decline
when he came to power,
and threatened from all sides:
by the Seljuk Turks in the East,
the Normans in the West,
and Scythian raiders to the north.
Over the course of Anna's childhood
and adolescence,
Alexios fought constant military campaigns
to secure the frontiers of his empire,
even striking up an uneasy alliance
with the Crusaders.
Meanwhile in Constantinople,
Anna fought her own battle.
She was expected to study subjects
considered proper
for a Byzantine princess,
like courtly etiquette and the Bible,
but preferred classical myth
and philosophy.
To access this material, she had to learn
to read and speak Ancient Greek,
by studying secretly at night.
Eventually her parents realized
how serious she was,
and provided her with tutors.
Anna expanded her studies
to classical literature, rhetoric,
history, philosophy, mathematics,
astronomy, and medicine.
One scholar even complained
that her constant requests
for more Aristotle commentaries
were wearing out his eyes.
At age fifteen,
Anna married Nikephoros Bryennios
to quell old conflicts
between their families
and strengthen Alexios's reign.
Fortunately, Anna and Nikephoros ended up
sharing many intellectual interests,
hosting and debating
the leading scholars of the day.
Meanwhile, Alexios's military excursions
began to pay off,
restoring many of the empire's
former territories.
As her father aged,
Anna and her husband helped her parents
with their imperial duties.
During this time,
Anna reportedly advocated for
just treatment of the people
in their disputes with the government.
After Alexios's death,
Anna's brother John ascended to the throne
and Anna turned back
to philosophy and scholarship.
Her husband had written a history
arguing that his grandfather
would have made a better emperor
than Alexios,
but Anna disagreed.
She began working on the Alexiad,
which made the case for her father's
merits as emperor.
Spanning the late 11th and early 12th
centuries of Byzantine history,
the Alexiad recounts
the tumultuous events of Alexios's reign,
and Anna's own reactions to those events,
like bursting into tears at the thought
of the deaths of her parents and husband.
She may have included these emotional passages
in hopes that they would make her writing
more palatable to a society
that believed women shouldn't
write about battles and empires.
While her loyalty to her father
was evident in her favorable account
of his reign, she also included criticism
and her opinions of events.
In the centuries after her death,
Anna's Alexiad was copied over and over,
and remains an invaluable
eyewitness account
of Alexios's reign today.
And through her epic historical narrative,
Anna Komnene secured
her own place in history.

Sherry Null - 2018 STARS Teacher - Apollo Junior High - Duration: 2:14.
I'm Sherry Null, and I teach 7th grade science to an outstanding group of
Pre-AP, regular, ESL students here at Apollo Junior High. I went to Dartmouth
Elementary school as a student. Then here at wonderful Apollo, and then Berkner
High School. Graduated with my husband of now 22 years, and the Berkner Orchestra
even played at our wedding! I think science is the best most important
subject there is because science is everything, it's everywhere. When I am out
on travels, I'll try to take pictures or collect things that I know are gonna
help in my classroom. With my skull collections, during our body systems unit,
we really do look at structure and function, and it helps to pique their
interest. We do talk about heredity and genetics, and I had shared with them that
I'm adopted. And I found my birth father this year
after 47 years. And it was just really special to get to experience that this
year with this group of seventh graders. I was trained in a continuous
improvement model, and I was asked to speak at a conference in Sacramento, and
a group from Sweden was there. They said, "We would like to do this as well," and
asked, "Would you like to come to Sweden?" it just kind of became a regular thing
where they asked me back every year to a conference on getting students to work
through a continuous improvement model where they write their own goals, they
collect their own data and make an action plan. In this classroom even now
what's called a Plan Do Study Act Model -- the students tend to have more of a
vested interest in what they're doing when they're the ones plotting their
progress and then kind of designing a plan on how to get better. Life is 10%
of what happens to you and 90% of how you respond and react to that. And it is
my sincere hope that I am helping to foster respectful students who are
problem solvers, learning how to ask questions always. You should always
question everything. Teaching is my dream job, and teaching science is my dream job.
And the fact that I get to come back here and teach seventh grade science in
the very classroom where I decided I wanted to become a teacher is a huge
blessing. And to be surrounded by these students and the teachers that I get to
work with every day -- it's second to none. I love it.

One Sectional Sofa, Two Living Room Looks! | H&H Design Challenge - Duration: 7:46.
Jen and I are here at Elte MKT because today we're facing off in a
special design challenge.
Our challenge was to design two different rooms around the same piece of
furniture so we met up with Andrew to find out what piece we'd be working with.
Jen: Hey, Andrew! Andrew: Hey, guys! How's it going? Jen: Good! Andrew: You guys ready to see the anchor piece?
Jen: We're really excited. Andrew: Awesome. So here we've got our Nomad modular sectional. One, you got a
beautiful gray performance fabric covered around that sectional. Two, it's a
really great comfort story, cloud-like comfort, really amazing Trillium cushions
that we use and then above all else it's a mix-and-match collection, so you've got
an armless chair, corner chair and an ottoman and you can create basically
anything you want from the small scale loveseat to a large scale sectional. Jen: Wow,
that's amazing. Andrew: So we're gonna send our Nomad over to the House & Home studio
so why don't you guys have a browse around the showroom and pick some things
that might go well with it. Jen: Great, let's get going. I was pretty excited about
getting to use all the different things whatever we wanted from Elte MKT. It was
kind of fun, we just run around and pick whatever you want – it was pretty cool. Kai: The
shopping spree. Jen: Yeah. Kai: An imaginary shopping
spree where you return everything at the end. Jen: Yeah, you pretend that you're gonna have it.
Jen: These are kind of cute. Kai: Those are really cute. I feel like they might be better for
what I'm doing.
I think not having a budget or a client was
kind of amazing. Jen: Always much easier. We did want to however make sure that what
we were doing was different so we kept that in mind. Kai: I like the look of these. I
think I'm gonna go for a sort of a global bohemian look and hopefully
that'll be different enough from Jen's. I like to start off with sort of a colour
that I want to use and then things sort of flow from there. Jen: Your creative juices are flowing. Kai: Gross. Jen: Look how pink it is.
This is a nice rug. I love the stripes on it. I think Kai might be layering more colour and
patterns, so I might try and stay away from that, and go a little more clean and
sleek. Modern. Kai: There's so much in the store actually, it's really fun just to
sort of walk around and see all their little vignettes.
They have great accessories, it feels like you could spend like the whole day.
That's really nice. Jen: Yeah.
Jen: No. Kai: I might be a little bit more competitive than you
because I'm the middle child. So, that edge that maybe... Jen: Yeah, I typically am NOT but sometimes.
My setup — I call it Soft Modern. First I painted the wall a really
soft putty-coloured pink. I didn't want it to be too bright or too bubblegum-y and
then I started slide in the pieces of the sectional. They fit together really
well. And then I unrolled my rug which I maybe
in theory should have put the rug in first but then getting the sectional in
might've been harder, so there's a bit of a catch-22 there. It's cushion time!
The pillows are really really fluffy and cloud-like, which was nice, just sort of
tossing them on. Alright, nobody sit on that now, thank you!
And then I brought in a coffee table that had a really warm wood tone to it.
Well this coffee table is really cool because it only looks like it has one
leg but there's actually a piece of glass down here that's holding it up, so
it looks like it's floating. And then I brought in a black cane chair which was
really sleek. I'm a fan of that chair. I think it's a really cool looking piece.
I love the way it looks — it's got a really strong shape to it too which i
really like and I love the caning. Then I brought in some toss cushions. Kai: Those are
beautiful. Browny gray with a touch of pink or purple in it. Jen: There's a little bit of pink in there that I
thought picked up nicely with the wall. Brought in some books just to sort of
fill it in a little and give it some texture and some life. Kai: And then your art.
Jen: Oh yeah, my art. The art was good it was white and black so it seems very simple
but I loved how much negative space there was and I think that's pretty
dramatic. I call this look Soft Modern. I wanted to keep the colours pretty neutral
and mostly a little bit pale too, to go for that softer look and not have
too much heavy or dark, but I did go for a few hits of black just to add a little
bit of edge. It's really soft and sophisticated.
Okay, good!
Well, first we painted the wall. Maybe you
don't know this about me, but I'm a terrible painter so I needed a little
extra help, and I was really happy with how the wall colour turned out. We put in
the sofa as well because we needed to see how the art was gonna hang. It seemed
very large but because it's modular it actually fit really well in the studio
and I feel like well-suited to the challenge because you can really change
up the look. Jen: Just depending on what you do around it it completely transforms
the look so I think it was a really good piece to work with. Kai: We rolled out our
rug so then we had to figure out how to hang the artwork. I had two pieces of
rather large art. I'm gonna need help lifting I can't lift this on my own.
Thankfully Reiko was around. We rolled in that lovely coffee table. Jen: I love that
coffee table. Kai: Yeah, it's a great coffee table and it's not too heavy too. Like it's quite
large and sturdy but it's easy to move around and we threw down the floor
cushions. There was a little bit of hesitation — I wasn't sure to go full out
with the cushions on the sofa, but we did and I feel like it worked well. Jen: I'm
glad you did. I love all the cushions together that you chose. Kai: You don't
really know until everything is totally in there how it's all gonna play out. You
have ideas but I was pleased with how it turned out. Who would live in my room?
I mean I would live in that room. It's kind of comfortable but approachable and
colourful. I think someone that obviously likes stuff. Jen: Not too much stuff. Kai: No, but you know,
appreciates colour. Jen: All the colours work so well that nothing is jarring,
it's just like a beautiful vignette. Kai: Thanks, Jen. Jen: The sofa has a really
relaxed feel to it. It has clean lines but it's not severe or harsh — it has
really sort of soft and inviting lines. Kai: It was a really nice piece, really
comfortable and it didn't have too specific of a look.
Jen: You can pretty much use it in almost any decorating style I think. Kai: I think the
comfort factor too for it — both of us approached it as a more laid-back, casual
without being sloppy. You know what I mean? Jen: Yeah, cool comfy.
I would be up for another challenge. It was a lot of fun, it was a bit of work.
Kai: It's nice to see the finished product, too — you know everything comes together and
then taking a look at what your friend did
Kai: Vote for me! Jen: What is this? Kai: You can't see what I'm saying.

Juventus team news: Predicted line up vs Man Utd – Ronaldo not up front, Dybala returns - Duration: 3:13.
Cristiano Ronaldo is unlikely to start as a lone forward when Juventus face Manchester United in their Champions League Group H clash this week
The Portuguese ace is returning to Old Trafford for only the second occasion since his departure in 2009, having established himself as an all-round forward during his time with Real Madrid
However, Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri is expected to deploy the 33-year-old out wide in support of Croatian frontman Mario Mandzukic when the Old Lady take on United
The return from injury of Paulo Dybala will allow Allegri to revert to his favoured 4-3-3 formation, meaning Red Devils fans will see Ronaldo shunted to the wing
Dybala picked up a knock during Argentina's friendly with Brazil during the international break but appeared as a substitute during the 1-1 draw with Genoa at the weekend
Sami Khedira (thigh) and Emre Can (thyroid) are both sidelined so Rodrigo Bentancur should come in alongside Miralem Pjanic and Blaise Matuidi in central midfield
Daniele Rugani is also out with a broken rib while Leonardo Spinazzola did not make the squad at the weekend and is unlikely to feature
Allegri has a settled back four in Joao Cancelo, Leonardo Bonucci, Giorgio Chiellini and Alex Sandro while Juan Cuadrado and Douglas Costa provide attacking reinforcements from the bench
Tuesday's clash will be the first time the Italian champions have taken on United in 15 years, while it is only Ronaldo's second competitive club match back at Old Trafford since his move to the Bernabeu
The 33-year-old scored the winner during a feisty 2-1 victory which saw Jose Mourinho's Real side knock out Sir Alex Ferguson's team at the Champions League last 16 stage in 2013
The legendary Red Devils boss was so incensed with the decision to red card Nani for an aerial challenge with Alvaro Arbeloa that he refused to carry out media commitments after the final whistle
Ronaldo will be hoping for a less controversial match evening this time around, with Juventus currently top of their group with two wins from two while United sit a couple of points back in second place

Battlestar Galactica Deadlock : Operation Anabasis Jump 1 - Duration: 15:19.
Hello its Ricardo and welcome back to Battlestar Galactica deadlock operation
and the basis the download content that has just been released by Slytherin now
this is jump one I thought I'd start off by showing the video of what happened
during jump 1 I've stopped it up with several heavy class ships so I go for
the heavier class battle stars and Rangers this time also some Artemis
battle stars the Cylons have dropped in they've started to fire their missiles
towards some of my older class battle stars more akin to what happened or what
the battle stars looked like in the original 1977 I'm deploying my flak I'm
returning missile fire and gunfire at the Cylon invaders there's no transport
at the moment I'm just trying to get to where I'm going I'm going to do a jump
as soon as I possible can't possibly can here is some Cylons get absolutely
wasted they're still advancing though not an awful lot of fire coming from
them the battle stars are keeping them all off the Rangers returning fire with
missiles heavy guns coming in probably a little bit of a collision there with
that Artemis class one Cylon remaining we're gonna circle round on him with a
ranger and the Natomas class battle star and he's gone
that's his biscuits and then it's time to jump out onto our next destination
all looks pretty easy all that's quite simple doesn't it it's a very
challenging game this Battlestar Galactica deadlock I found not without
its rewards as well visually stunning when you're actually playing it's a true
realtime strategy game but you know you're rewarded with these fantastic
cinematics at the end so how did I get to this point well if you haven't done
so do me a favor first off click the like and subscribe button and also the
notification icon and now let you know when I'm putting more videos like this
on youtube so so starting off this mission it gives you a bit of background
it's a failed mission they went out to do a preemptive strike that didn't
happen so now as there was no one to sq and to hit out at the Cylon force he
decided to turn their attention towards the outer colonies with no chance of
support from the colonial feet so let's go on pick a fleet so it's a couple of
fleets that have already been defined as it's my first time playing it I'm gonna
intend to go in there pretty much gun heavy so let's have a quick look of what
we got here some of these ships aren't quite doing it for me really
especially that a small Corvette we've got on the left hand so I think remove
that for something a bit more meteor we've got some pretty you know good
battle stars they'll launch the Vipers and Raptors and we've got to missile to
missile boats which I'm quite happy with us well that allow us to lay down a
pretty much heavy salvo of missile fire now for this length and duration of
mission these small ships aren't going to do it for me they're not going to
last very much so we can remove them clicking on the X that'll take that out
and allow us to use those additional command points anything up to 8,000 you
can have any particular squadron whether the less amount of ships you use the
less amount of points you use the more rewards you get so the more people I
think you generally get to save so I'm gonna add in a different ship to try and
get me up to around 8,000 so we're gonna go for a berserk class which is
generally a viper squadron and loads of guns no missiles so they're getting
close with that the guns are gonna pound away at the Cylons and hopefully it'll
give us some much-needed artillery because the battle stars are great but
they're great all-rounders there's great all-rounder platform so let's go back to
the save button we'll proceed
yes yes yes Rihanna Wallace we're ready ready to go and once we're ready you
click on and it's gonna start loading up that mission now here we go we're ready
to go over in the the map positioning part of the the mission we're jumping in
Cylons are jumped in only three marks at the moment I generally have thought I'm
gonna not gonna engage them head I don't start incurring too much damage at the
beginning of it there's plenty of time to get pasted by the Cylons later on
we're going to present the left side of the ships directly towards the enemies
we're going to put a Battlestars on the outside they can provide fire such as
flak and heavy guns to try and take these smaller ships out by means of also
protecting our freighter and other command ships now the freighter another
command ships can allow us to repair hull plating and to restock our ships as
well with missiles by use of drones I'm not going to launch any Vipers on
this mission unfortunately it's going to be a strict turn around head towards the
jump point the whole point of jump 1 is getting out to the system and getting on
with it the Cylons are stand to come in what we're doing now is not effectively
running away it's a strategic retreat I would say emphasis on the strategic so
what we're going to do is is we're gonna turn our side to them they're gonna come
into range then it up there start launching missiles from a distance we're
going to deploy flat and then continue with this no other transports in system
so we're gonna let this play out Cylon to advancing we're turning our Colossus
battle star fleet to one side here we go they're all turning right exit they're
still not in firing range yet so we've still got time now the big heavy
military ships are always going to be ready right to start jumping because
they've got military FTL's the smaller ships and the freighters not so much
you've got to wait for them to spool up so we've got three more turns to the FTL
Drive is ready to spool up right next what are we got right so
we've still turned our left side so it got our ships in position Cylons are
firing but not yet come into identification range that's okay because
we're missiles come in time to deploy flak now we've got a Cylon Corvette just
as those missiles are gonna come in we're gonna say deploy flak and that
flak is gonna take out those missiles so that one particular Artemis battle star
there there we go flak to the left side okay fantastic he's gonna that Ranger
we're gonna get him to deploy missiles he's got two banks of missiles in this
ship so we can really hit heavy really hit hard hit first strike hard take no
prisoners here more munitions take him out he will rule the day he tangled with
us fire a guided missile there you go right now here's the issue I'm firing a
missile here which is effectively through a flak shield I don't know why
I've done it it was a mistake everyone's gonna say you shouldn't fire missiles
through a flat cloud I know that he was early so my flax going off is eating up
all those Cylon missiles I'm returning missiles majority of which is getting
through that is gonna paste that one particular Cylon we're gonna make a
slight course adjustment to that Battlestar we're gonna focus our guns as
well we are gonna take these guys out while the rest of them make their move
because that circling some around so they don't get too far away from the
main group move those Rangers
and continue here we go FLAC is still deploying hit that Cylon really hard
he's gonna go he's gone he's destroyed everybody
deader we're gonna cancel the flak on that no more missiles coming in just yet
we're gonna start circling those heavy ships around we're gonna finish off the
rest of those Cylon Corvettes there are only light ships anyway but hey makes me
feel better because they're gonna give me quite the
pounding once the base stars that coming in the guns as well on the Battlestar
again start lashing out only 15 hell on that one Cylon and he's basically run
directly into us we're gonna move our ships around now in a circular motion
we're gonna let him have it here we go okay we're continue to circle now this
one last Cylon is going to be a toasted toaster we're gonna fire some missiles
at him we're gonna get our guns on him turrets we're going to focus fire cancel
that target there
here we go and he is gone everybody right so what's
left one nemesis call that class the hell of twenty nine he's not gonna last
very long at all missiles have come in he's at a right old pasting we're gonna
change side so the other side of our battle star comes into it we're gonna
move the rest them down way making sure the fleet is fully protected on this
first jump and then when that's done we're gonna jump away all systems on
this ship are okay much well be complete and take that entire Cylon force out so
I need one ship remaining and he's gone this means now we can let it play out
before more Cylon reinforcements come in and we can jump away and make headway
into the next system give a course correction to stop that Battlestar
plowing right into that Ranger to the ship to swing around now reinforcements
are coming in the next round we're gonna jump away we're gonna get the familiar
flash of light from these ships
here come the Cylons we don't care about them we're gonna jump I'm not going to
engage any more and waste any more valuable resources on ships when there's
no passengers in two jumps there's all the spool drives are spooling we're
gonna proceed we're gonna select our area what we're gonna got we got repair
me supply nothing's been damaged - three FTL cool down which means we can jump
quicker future information will apps we'll go to that one that'll do us so
now we're going to get that little flash of the ships using their FTL and they're
gone absolutely fantastic I enjoyed that some of these games
aren't very enjoyable but then I got to destroy some Cylons which I thought was
quite good so at this stage of the game you can now press view replay and here's
the replay again in context of what you've just seen anyway I'll leave you
with this replay I've been Ricardo this has been battlestar galactica deadlock
operation and a basis operation on the basis is downloadable
via Steam or the platform of your choice but steam on all platforms I understand
it I'm not at all affiliated with slathering games I'm just saying it's
there to be download it's not very expensive cost me about seven pounds 95
British I enjoy it you do have to have the game the original game though well
that at the moment is also on offer 50% off I think perhaps they're banking on
everybody buying that and then getting the DLC the DLC is an added layer the
existing campaign single player and the multiplayer campaign or multiplayer
options are very good I would highly recommend it especially if you're a fan
of the show anyway thanks very much for watching see you soon and hopefully
check you back for some more videos in this series

Probably an inverted grapefruit spoon.
I have a nice smooth exterior, but my spikes are on the inside. Oh... I was just
gonna say a spoon, smooth and simple. Well there's no way a spoon
could beat an inverted grapefruit spoon in UPC's event battle of the cupcakes.
Create and decorate cupcakes for a chance to win prizes. We'll see who takes
the cupcake. Okay grapefruit spoon! Rachel, you're looking a little bit sick, kind of green, maybe a little gross. Well you look
that way and you're not even sick. Harsh! Well that's because I'm preparing for
the haunted union and zombie prom. I'm gonna dance my zombie heart out while I
wait to be... boo! Scared in the haunted house. Dress up if you dare
and make it out alive to win a prize
Ah! Grapefruit spoon!

Classical Musicians React: LOONA/Choerry 'Love Cherry Motion' - Duration: 9:07.
Peyton: Wow, I need to go buy Charlotte: Oh!
the biggest busload of cherries. Cuz if this is what happens when you eat cherries,
I'm only eating cherries all weekend. Charlotte: Yes, yes
Jordan: Choerry is the eighth member, and she debuted in July
2017 with purple as her color and fruit bat as her animal.
Peyton: Fruit bear? Jordan: Fruit Bat Charlotte: Fruit bat
Charlotte: Not bear, bat.
Peyton: Oh, I was like, I just imagined a gigantic gummy bear
with teeth and claws and weird a prosthetic fur.
Jordan: So, Love Cherry Motion is composed by Ollipop, Hayley Aitken, and Kanata Okajima.
Umu: Haseul and Yeojin, who debut before her, the bird and frog, show up in the video's
story part, and then during the bridges of the song, two girls who she's in a subunit with appeared to dance and lip sync with her and
Choerry is known to connect all three subunits together in Loona lore. Go ahead.
Isaac: Love Cherry Motion. Boop!
Davis: Okay, all right. Starting off strong.
See, it's the same thing as like Yeonjin. It's just like the super like saturated filter over like Lindsey: Oh my God, she is beautiful.
Davis: Yeah, wow.
Rachel: This is very Katy Perry. Jeremy: Oh my God, yeah
Rachel: (singing)
Jeremy: Wait, this is a literally Teenage Dream.
Rachel: I Love that like, uh, what is it? It's like slap bass sound. It's a good bass line.
Peyton: Just like a pop funk thing.
I said funk because of the electric bass.
Ooh!
Rachel: She's like the most Alto-ish. So far.
Jeremy: Yeah. She has a lower..voice.
Rachel: I appreciate how good they are, each as soloists. Jeremy: They are, yeah, it's not like they can only sing as a group, you know.
Kevin: A little Grimes, A, A, A. That's so Grimes
Isaac: (singing)
Kevin: A little Brahms moment going on!
Elizabeth: Well, the bass is like so low in your ear
it's really hard to tell what the bass note is, so the harmonies
feel a little less clear to me than with the other ones.
Peyton: What is Cherry Motion?
Oh
Oh, sh*t!
Oh. sh*t!
Isaac: Wait, what?
Henry: What, the...
Elizabeth; Oh, there's the bat.
They're just gonna pretend that didn't happen?
Isaac: We're getting light-hearted!
Davis: Man, she had me played. I thought this video was just like another bubble-gum OK Lindsey: Yeah
Lindsey: She was so cutesy, but then all of a sudden she got like, we get that little freaky Davis: alter-ego Lindsey: little freaky alternate-universe
Davis: You know what I was gonna say before this completely freaked out was that
They really do like these
secondary dominant things, like they're staying in a very small box,
but like what they're able to like, the different combinations they're still able to make really keeps it interesting.
Rachel: They also like fly through chord changes, which is why this music interesting.
Lindsey: Yeah, like this is an aesthetic I can definitely get behind.
Davis: Yeah, purple's just a good color.
Lindsey: It's a fantastic color.
Henry: I Like that the first time it's F-minor and then the second time it's F7, because it's going somewhere else. That's smart.
Henry: Oh, her reflection. But you know what, the cherry is the central fruit this time. Oh, wow, that's pretty crazy
Isaac: Yes!
Peyton: I need to go buy the biggest busload of cherries Charlotte: Oh! Yes, yes
Peyton: Cuz if this is what happens when you eat cherries, I'm only eating cherries all weekend.
Charlotte: Oof!
Elizabeth" It's definitely get some like, exotic flavor to it with like
the augmented seconds.
That's interesting.
Rachel: Honestly impressed by how they could transition between those two things
Kevin: Nice It's a little delayed, before the beat kicks back in.
Elizabeth: This is the strongest use of color that's like her color we've seen. Henry: Yeah, I'm very into it actually.
Rachel: Her voice is very, almost like cookie cutter. I think she has a lot of control.
Peyton: That was sensual.
Charlotte: I was gonna say sensual as well.
We are so on the same page.
Peyton: Gosh. This is why we work.
Henry: Wow, I think that was maybe the most interesting one we've seen so far.
I feel like there was so there's so much to unpack in that one
Elizabeth: Yeah Henry: I don't know. I'm speaking for myself, not for you.
I don't know. Elizabeth: No, it's just it's really interesting because like on the one hand you have like the super
stereotypical, poppy, synthesized
song, and then we have the sections with like interesting modality, and the dancing changed, and it was more about like the very
heavy base beat, and I did feel in the poppier sections that like synthesized bass was really, really low in your ear,
so it was really hard to hear like the tonic of the chord.
So it still did feel like you know, there's something a little funky going on.
And then it would get to the other section that was interspersed and it'd be like, oh, there's where it is.
It was like really catchy and then
like in the first verses she's very like in the lower part of her register and it's very full and not whispery, which I appreciated.
And then yeah, there's like a bunch of like little runs,
so she sounds like she has very good control, which is hard to do on like a bop, cuz there's not much room. Jeremy: Yeah
Jeremy: It just keeps going.
Rachel: Yeah
Jeremy: Yeah, you had said she kind of has like a cookie cutter voice,
which she does. It's like, a dime a dozen, kind of, but like it does sound very good, and it was cool song. Rachel: Mm-hmm.
Charlotte: Okay, so when I was first listening to this section, I'm not gonna lie. I was like
(singing)
and I was like, okay we're gonna do this for about three minutes, and then she's
(singing)
and I was like
pleasantly surprised
I like the fact though that even though the cute, bubbly part was the same, that like her break it down, dark side
was
different, so the first time it was just like breaking it down, but the second time they added another layer of sound into it.
So it's very interesting.
It made it have more depth to it, and then like merging the two styles was a really interesting choice
Peyton: It seemed like one scene was like literally like there were little like mirror portals into the underground world
where all the like (singing) stuff was happening. You know.
Charlotte: Oh, I see where you're going.
Oh, like a portal. So like she's looking and there's like another side to herself?
Oh
Isaac: Holy sh*t!
My goodness, first of all like, she is very attractive. god damn. (Kevin: ooo choerry!) Oh my goodness.
Kevin: Ooh
Isaac: This song is like it's been hyped ever since Kevin was like, "Oh, it's great!", but like
I never knew this was so damn good. I
I thought it was very neat. You go for like a really nice, peaceful,
but still it keeps that very light natural color, and then just like, that sudden change
into like a dark
dark purple setting, and also like the vibe of the EDM, and also the environment that they go for, it's like, that was some
very dynamic dancing, dynamic music. It's very, very, enjoyable.
Kevin: Yeah
Told ya' so! Isaac: Oh, yeah
Kevin: The second time, they totally go exotic scale. We call it the Egyptian scale, but I've done some research
It's actually like a Gypsy scale. I think that especially in classical music
I think it's more well known as the Gypsy scale, just because to our culture, it's a little more relevant.
So when we hear that, I think we place it in a Gypsy, we call it a Gypsy scale.
So it is a Gypsy scale. Isaac: It could also be Phrygian Kevin: The (Blackpink) Boombayah scale Well, it's Phrygian, but then
the major 323 Isaac: 323
Kevin: Yeah Isaac: Yeah, I guess that's the difference.
. Kevin: Okay.

Top 10 Untold Truths of Denny's!!! - Duration: 13:51.
Denny's is a diner that America loves. This restaurant has been around for over six decades!
It (almost) never closes, so it's possible to get breakfast, lunch or supper any time
of the day of night. The company's founders, Richard Jezak and Harold Butler, opened up
their own donut stand way back in 1953, named, "Danny's Donuts". The company goal was to
offer superb coffee, delicious donuts, caring service and great value...24 hours a day.
It's now a chain of more than 1700 Denny's restaurants. If you love relaxing at Denny's,
while you chow down on Grand Slams or other famous Denny's menu items, you'll enjoy discovering
the top 10 untold truths of Denny's.
There's a Secret Menu at Denny's
Learning about the secret menus of restaurant chains is fun, and you should know that Denny's
has one. Sure, you can order from the typical menu, but another option is asking your Denny's
server to bring you Cheesy Hash Browns. These satisfying hash browns are a secret menu item
so the chef will need to agree to whip them up for you. When you do ask your server for
these exclusive hash browns, be as polite as possible and then keep your fingers crossed.
Your server will speak to the chef and you may just get your wish. It's also possible
to have bacon added to menu items that don't actually have bacon as an add-on. Whether
you want bacon on top of a cool dish of sweet vanilla ice cream, or used as a topping on
anything else...just ask. Denny's is generally pretty accommodating when it comes to granting
customers permission to enjoy secret menu items. Every location is different, but most
locations will cater to your special requests. Another secret menu option is the French Toast Cheese
Sandwich. It's stuffed with melted cheese and features two slices of bread that are
actually pieces of French Toast. The French Toast features a little cinnamon, so these
particular cheese sandwiches have fascinating, savory and sweet flavor profiles. There are
plenty of secret menu items - in fact, there are too many to list! One other notable addition
to the Denny's secret menu is Breaded Fish Fillets. They were mainstays on the regular
menu in the past, but are harder to find these days. If you're craving breaded fish, ask
your server or the shift supervisor to get it for you.
We never keep secrets. So hit that subscribe button and click that bell to join our notification
squad so you never miss out!
Denny's Has Its Own Cartoon
If you want to watch cartoon slices of bacon, fried eggs, sausages and flapjacks frolic,
joke around and have adventures, it may be time to check out Denny's own cartoon characters.
This posse of breakfast food items is called The Grand Slams and you can find them on YouTube.
Since kids love Denny's, the restaurant chain's powers-that-be made sure that children are
able to enjoy cartoons that are wholesome and centered on some of the eatery's best
ingredients. YouTube isn't the only way to enjoy The Grand Slams. You may also visit
the official Denny's website and watch them in action. There's currently a video of "Egg"
playing basketball which is pretty entertaining. Another amusing and wacky cartoon features
"Pancake" getting a fork right in his back...this is the downside of being such a delicious
cartoon character! There is also a cartoon clip that shows "Sausage" and "Bacon" going
on a fun ski trip...hilarity ensues. While The Grand Slams were surely created with kids
in mind, it's safe to say that plenty of teen and adult Denny's fans probably love The Grand
Slams, too. The cartoon characters are active on social media and love expressing their
opinions. These are cartoon characters that are dialed into popular culture...and Denny's
fans can interact with them online. While checking out The Grand Slams online, keep
an eye out for a "side character" known as Bold Coffee. He wears cool aviator sunglasses
and has a luxuriant mustache and gets into all kinds of trouble.
The Denny's Online Menu is Very Interactive
Denny's makes life easy for its valued customers by offering an online menu that is very interactive.
The online ordering system is called, "Denny's on Demand" and customers are able to place
their orders online, for delivery at most locations, or for take-out. Hungry Denny's
customers may click on menu items to find out how much they cost, read their descriptions
and access nutritional information. The online menu system is very organized and it's simple
to use. Just choose a location and then pick out all of the food and drink that you want.
Denny's launched the Denny's On Demand program in May of 2017. The system may be accessed
at the official Denny's website and there's also a mobile app. The company put a lot of
time and energy into making this new system good. Denny's revamped an existing app put
together the brand-new website system and partnered with digital ordering giant, Olo,
plus Olo's dispatch network, to make sure that the entire system works well. If you're
craving some Denny's while you chill out at the local beach, use the online system via
your smartphone. It'll tell you whether or not delivery is possible. It probably is.
Another great thing about the delivery option is that Denny's has chosen to use sustainable
and microwavable packaging for meals and drinks. The packaging features some interesting tweets
from Denny's, which is known for having an amusing Twitter presence.
A Celebrity Might Take Your Order at Denny's
Did you know that pop sensation, Katy Perry, teamed up with Denny's to create a special
beverage? This happened back in 2009, and Katy actually worked at Denny's, for just
one shift, in order to promote the creamy, sweet drink. The Katy-inspired drink was Hot
n Cold Cherry Chocolate Cappuccino. Her drink was a component in Denny's 2009 "Allnighter
Menu", and other menu items from the "Allnighter" were also inspired by big rock bands and singers.
Dishes inspired by Good Charlotte, Jewel, Eagles of Death Metal, Rascal Flatts and other
popular musical artists were offered. This was kind of an unusual promotion. It was cheesy,
but fun and Katy did her part to bring publicity to the new menu, by posing for photographers
as she ferried plates of burgers and fries to Denny's customers during her shift. It
may have been "fake working" - who knows? Maybe Katy was a really good server! She wore
the Denny's uniform and the whole bit, along with a pair of yellow sunglasses perched on
her head. When you drop by a Denny's, there's always the chance that the company is running
a hot new promotion that involves bringing in a big-time celebrity to take your order.
I wonder how Katy's tips were during her shift? Would you tip a multi-millionaire? Celebs
get paid to collaborate with big brands, so Katy probably got a pretty significant "tip"
from Denny's in exchange for her participation. This promotion was about giving Denny's a
cooler image with the youth demographic.
There's a Denny's Menu for People 55 and Older
The youth demographic isn't the only demographic that Denny's cares about. They also care about
their older customers and this is why Denny's offers a special menu for customers aged fifty-five
or older. It's called the, "55 +" menu. Menu items are designed to appeal to the tastes
of older Denny's patrons. These menu items come with lower prices and smaller portions.
The restaurant also provides senior discounts at a host of locations. Since it's a franchise,
senior discounts may vary from location to location. Some locations may not offer this
special promotion to older customers at all. AARP members usually get fifteen percent off,
as long as they are 55 or older. If you check out the 55+ menu, you'll see that it's loaded
with appealing choices, from the Belgian Waffle Slam to the Club Sandwich to Chicken-Fried
Steak and beyond. There's also a "FitFare" Loaded Veggie Omelette that is a healthy choice
for older patrons. Of course, seniors may order from the regular menu, too. It's nice
that this restaurant chain places a priority on giving seniors great meal options, as well
as discounts for AARP. AARP is a non-partisan, non-profit organization that empowers members
to make their own choices when it comes to how they live as they get older. Denny's provides
seniors benefits and perks to show appreciation for this older generation. Seniors who aren't
part of AARP may want to sign up, to access plenty of membership benefits, including discounts
on Denny's grub.
There's Healthy Menu Options at Denny's
Diner fare doesn't have to be unhealthy. It can be, but there are healthier options through
the Denny's "FitFare" menu. These menu items have a lot less of the bad stuff and more
healthy ingredients, which are prepared to keep calories and fat on the lower side. A
lot of customers don't realize that they can enjoy true Denny's taste, without the extra
calories and fat, just by ordering FitFare dishes. Right now, the company offers seven
FitFare choices and they are Slow-cooked Pot Roast, a FitSlam, a Loaded Veggie Omelette,
Tilapia Ranchero, a Veggie Skillet, a Sirloin Steak, and Wild Alaska Salmon. FitFare menu
items come in under five hundred and fifty calories and have more than twenty grams of
protein. Some are gluten-free. Full nutritional details and calorie counts are available at
official Denny's websites. So, you don't need to choose the greasiest, most caloric food
that this American diner chain offers. You can go lighter if you feel like it. Of course,
you may prefer to indulge in a juicy burger, golden-brown French Fries and a creamy milkshake.
The Denny's Twitter Feed is Hilarious
Denny's seems like a pretty cool company. The official Denny's Twitter feed is popular
because it's often very amusing. It shows the good-natured side of the huge restaurant
chain. With over a half million followers, as of September 2018, the Denny's Diner Twitter
account has been up and running since 2009. That's the same year that the company promoted
special menu items inspired by rock and pop stars. Clearly, the company starting doing
more marketing to younger customers in 2009 and this marketing is still going strong.
The Twitter feed features a steady stream of funny comments. In the Twitter bio, Denny's
Diner clarifies that "it's not the Krusty Krab", which is the fast food eatery in the
Spongebob Squarepants cartoons. On Twitter, Denny's Diner is a place to find cute-but-corny
jokes, posts honoring National Potato Day and so much more. Denny's fan interacts with
Denny's on Twitter and everyone has a good time. The Twitter feed of this restaurant
chain is a lot less corporate than most restaurant Twitter feeds. Denny's wants to send a message
that it's a fun place to eat, with cool staff who are friendly.
Kids Get Free Food on Tuesdays at Denny's
Being a parent is expensive and Denny's management knows this. That's why they help parents out
by offering a "kids eat free" promotion on Tuesdays. If you want to take the kids out
for dinner, and you want to spend as little as possible, heading for a local Denny's will
be a smart strategy. There are some rules related to this promotion that you should
be aware of. One is that it runs from four in the afternoon until ten at night. Kids
can't eat free outside of this six-hour window of time. Also, there is a limit of two children's
entrees, and one full-priced entree for an adult must be ordered to access the free food
for the kids. If your kids are 12 and under, visit Denny's on Tuesdays and give them a
fun experience, without the big final tab. The "kids eat free" promotion is just another
reason why America loves Denny's. You'll also find Denny's restaurants in Canada. And don't
worry, kids, eat free on Tuesdays at the Canadian restaurants, too. The menu items for kids
are fun. They include Chocolate Chip pancakes, Junior French Toast, a "build your own" Grand
Slam breakfast, Junior Cake Batter milkshakes and so much more, such as cheeseburgers and
spaghetti. Kids have plenty of choices, so this is a special promotion that every parent
should be aware of. It's a great way to save money on eating out - until those kids become
teenagers.
Denny's Used To Be Unlocked 24/7
Denny's is a 24/7 restaurant chain that hardly ever closes. In the early days, the restaurants
didn't even have locks, because they never, ever shut down for the night. These days,
there are locks. Security is tighter. The world has changed. The locks are there in
case they are needed, for whatever reason. For example, Denny's restaurants now close
on Christmas day, to give staff members time to celebrate and be with their families. These
rare closures prompted the installation of locks at the diners, some of which were lock-free
for decades. Locks were added in 1988 and they cost a lot of money. The final tab for
the new locks was a cool five million bucks. The decision to close the restaurants on Christmas
was done out of respect for the company's hard-working employees. It was about taking
care of their team. Good on you, Denny's.
Some Denny's Menu Items Are Loaded with Calories
Denny's is a great place to find lighter fare, but it's also a place to find menu items with
very high-calorie counts. For example, a Cake Batter milkshake from Denny's has 1,310 calories.
That's a lot, as some people only eat 1500 calories per day. Basically, this milkshake
is a meal in a glass or a couple of meals in a glass, and it's got plenty of sugar and
fat. It's not a healthy choice. It's a treat that should be enjoyed occasionally. Lots
of menu items at Denny's are loaded with calories. If you want to avoid them, stick to the healthier
FitFare items on the menu. If high-calorie diner food is what you're looking for, you'll
find it at Denny's. Aside from the Cake Batter milkshake, other high-calorie items include
original Grand Slams, which range around 950 calories, and The Meat Lover's Scramble, which
has 1,241 calories. Calorie count information at Denny's isn't concealed by the company.
It's right there on the menus and it's also available via the restaurant chain's official
website.
Now that you have the inside scoop on 10 untold truths of Denny's, stick around and spend
