Youtube daily report Oct 4 2018

Hello! I'm Cecelia Louie of Paper Zen. I'm happy to announce that I've finished my

latest book, Quilling Lowercase Letters. It's written in the same format as my

previous book, Quilling Letters, so I've done all the measuring for you. For this

book I'll be showing how to outline the letters, so make sure to subscribe to my

channel and follow along. If you're new to my channel and want to try quilling a

letter you can visit my blog to download both the uppercase and lowercase a, in

PDF format. You'll find all the links below in the notes. I sometimes get asked

why I'm providing my book in a digital download, and not as a printed book. It's

a great question! In all my tutorials in this series, I'm asking you to trace, cut,

enlarge, and reduce pages. So can you imagine mutilating a printed book like

that? However, if it's a printed book you're looking for, my first book was

published in 2014, and it's the same style that you've all gotten to know.

Every strip here is measured for you. There are over 25 projects in here for

many occasions. The examples you see here are made with conventional quilling

paper, and not the same thick strips I've been using for these letters. Just look

in the notes below the video, and you'll see all the links to the items I've

mentioned. As for how to fill in the letters, please watch my previous videos

for a variety of ideas. This artwork is on the cover of my new book, and if you

look closely you'll see that the blossoms are all slightly different

sizes. That's because I didn't use a pre-measured strip. I actually prefer

them being different because it looks less structured and staged. To make these

berries, I just took a strip maybe about the size of my knuckle. I guess that's

about an inch, and I tore this strip. I find a torn edge helps you kind of hide

it, rather than seeing such a thick seam at the end of your coil. So I'm just

going to soften that strip and roll it around my quilling needle,

and just glue that closed,

and then I just take a look at the space that I have, and for something like this

I just look at you know how long of a strip do I want that to be? And in this

case, I do want a blunt cut edge so I'll trim that end and then I'll just glue

that to the berry here and see how that fits in that space and then I just

simply do another one and attach that to to the first strip and I'll do all the

berry parts first and then you know check and measure against the space that

I'm going to be putting it in and if I need to adjust anything I take it up and

read it and put it back in and just you know check out these proportions to make

sure that it's going to fit in that space the way I want so to make these to

make these little buds here I took a strip about the length of my knuckle and

I'm going to tear both ends soften the strip and then I'm going to rub right in

the middle so when I rub what that's going to do is cause just that portion

to curve a lot more than the rest of the areas and then I'm going to just glue

those two ends together

and then I'm going to take maybe double that length and do something similar I

just soften it up and again roll it so it takes on that same shape now where

it's different here is I'm just going to soften in the opposite direction just on

the ends so you can see what kind of shape that's going to make no and then I

will always test it against the one that I've already made before I start gluing

so I want to adjust this bud to however I need it to be and if I want like you

can change the shape of this bud just by pushing the bottom end and it becomes

fatter or you can make it more skinny just by squishing it a little bit and

that's going to change the look of every one of your blossoms so try to imagine

this before you start gluing it together just to make sure is this the ratio that

you want so I want it to be about there

I'll just add a little bit of glue to the middle here and add the first piece

in there and always bring it back down to your surface just to make sure things

are lying flat because there's nothing worse than trying to glue something in

and one piece is to tucking up and it's just going to start fighting with you so

then I'm just going to add some glue you could add it to the middle piece or the

ends whichever you prefer and just bring those pieces together

and then you just need to snip off the excess

and that's how I created the but then you just simply add a stem to it figure

out you know where where on the letter you want it to go and every letter every

space is going to be a little different it doesn't matter that this is smaller

than the space allowed I actually like that breathing room whereas here it's

kind of touching the letter C and it also depends how much structure you want

to give around your letter so in this case because I felt it you know I didn't

need to support it see these walls they're kind of on their own and when

you don't have items next to that purple wall if you can imagine so this would be

a little weaker so because these leaves are here I can add a spot of glue here

and strengthen it up so in this case because it's kind of making this shape I

felt it was strong enough to be on its own so I didn't need to bring the bud

right to the edge so just play with it and whatever works for you now for the

leaf that you see here here everywhere I'm just going to show you how to do

that I generally start with pre softening all my strips I just find that

I find that the papers are more malleable to work with so I'm going to

fold it in half and then with a crochet hook I just like that circumference more

I'm just going to soften the folded part here and then open it up and then I'm

going to soften that part and then on the opposite end soften that part so you

can see how that leaf is just taking shape now then open up the leaf add a

dab of glue right there in the middle of the fold

and then you're going to take a softened stem and just insert that into the

middle of the fold now normally you would wait till this is dry but you know

I'm impatient here for you and I'm just going to wiggle the ends until I know

this is the kind of leaf that I'm looking for so you could have a leaf

that looks like that or like that you can play with that and when you have

decided okay see that's what happens when you're impatient right the stem

comes out so you could choose to add glue either with a fine tip glue bottle

like this and if you don't have something like that then you just need

to add it too with a toothpick add it to a piece of plastic like that a thin line

like that and you can just dip it then after you dip it you can decide where

you want that edge to come down on the stem and then it's really important for

you to hold it right there until the glue sets

then dip the other side and using a pair of tweezers I just make it match the

opposite and

and that's how you get your leaf to create these little swirly bits here

it's really simple I just take a strip and soften it up and I'll soften both

ends by the way it's just something I do you don't have to do this but that's

what I prefer to do so then I simply call that around loosen it up and recoil

that by hand and I find that when I coil it up again by hand I can control the

concentric circles like that and then I'll soften the opposite end if I want

it to go in another direction and just reshape that coil the arcs as you as you

need and that's how you get coils like that don't forget to visit my blog to

download your free template - give it a try I want to keep improving my

tutorials so would you let me know what tip was new for you in the comments

below or what technique you enjoyed learning about most if you enjoyed this

video I hope you give it two thumbs up thanks and see you next time!

Local Coin Shop LCS Pickup and Junk Silver Hunt and Score! - Duration: 14:06.

let's take a look at what my local coin shop pickup yields

hey everybody its Rob with Rob finds treasure and I've been asked for a

couple of things people have asked me to do a coin shop pick up as well as a junk

silver hunt so I've done that I'll tell you I went down to my local coin shop

and I took a look at all the civil rounds he had and he had a couple of

containers full of them about 15 in a container a lot of them were buffaloes

but I asked if he had any mixed ones and he showed me the mixed ones and I picked

up ones that I thought were the best and we'll go through those in a second then

I asked if he had any constitutional silver or any junk silver and he had

$16.60 Worth and I really don't want to pay that much money for that today so I

said alright forget the quarters because they are pretty sworn slick but in that

he had a bunch of dimes and some half dollars so I said give me all the dimes

and all the half dollars came out to 810 face so I went ahead and separated by

the Mercs the rosies we could get a barber dime and then the half dollars I

ended up trading back in and not wanting to buy the forty or ninety percent half

dollars I just kept the older ones and I'll show you what I got here first on

these and then we'll get into that and then I got to start sorting I even

looked at the dimes yet but first half dollar we found in the pie was a 1953

Denver so that was a pretty good find we also found a pretty nice 1956

philadelphia not a bad fine there and then check it out I didn't even look at

the MIT marker the date I want to draw a lot of attention to it but I did see was

a barber and when I just pulled it out of the bag right now

it's a 1901 s 1901 s so based on the rates that I paid I paid he only charged

me 90 bucks for this so about 11 times face so a little bit high I like to pay

around 10 but still this right here 800 and I think 47,000 minted only yeah

that's pretty toasty but even in good condition it's a $32 half dollar

I'm sure based on 11 times face I'm sure I'd get more than 550 for this so this

guy alone is probably somewhere between 18 and 25 dollars maybe not that much

but close but I was not expecting to find an almost key date

barbar half and then in the rosies we got a 55 and I believe the 55 is an S

yeah 55 s so that's a good pickup we got a 57

D I'll take that and then a nice 64 d you can't get mad at that that's a

pretty good condition for junk silver and then mixed in all those mercs

we also found in 1903 oh not a key but nice was the 1903 s as you can see but

I'll take it when I saw his 1903 and I noticed we have some s mint marks I got

excited but it's a no but also take it so pretty good finds there we'll get to

the second part of the video when I go to the Mercury dimes like I said I'd

even check them yet so I'm gonna stack them by year and then buy mint and we'll

go through those later but just a quick look at what the silver rounds I picked

up I picked up five of these Morgan dollar ones I thought they're pretty

good he gave me a great price on these 16 dollars around and that's not bad

yeah they've been handled but you know what I'll take him especially when just

three months ago they were asking 18 to 20 dollars around at that same shop so

I'll take him for now we picked up five I'll probably use some of these in my

live streams as giveaways cuz I think they're pretty cool that's why I picked

up five of them there's a lot of Buffalo rounds going around but I hadn't seen

one with this kind of design with the fields having some lines in them so I

thought it was cool it's different the ones I have so I picked that one up I

also picked up this reno 2007 nevada 44th annual Air Races I just thought it

was cool I've never seen this one so we picked that one up as well this one has

a really cool design on the front I'm not exactly sure what that is but maybe

you guys can help me I still thought it was awesome

got the beautiful eagle on the back it's made by Silvertown I haven't done any

research on he's yet picked this one up because I

just thought it was cool with the Texas star in it and I'm in Texas so one Texas

dollar not a bad round there grab this one because it has the scales and I love

the scales right there it's one troy ounce silver trade unit and again

beautiful Eagle on that side thought it was awesome we also picked up this u.s.

assay office San Francisco 1981 yeah made from stockpile silver I thought it

was cool and of course anything with an eagle on it

I love picked through this elemental one because I had never seen this and the

back has the atomic weight the Tomic number everything Tomic simple I think

it's great never seen that one AG 47 gotta love it

I like this silver round because it has the 200th anniversary of the US

Constitution 1987 it's got some toning as you can see but it even has part of

the Constitution we the people on there I think it's great and of course another

Eagle power and beauty awesome and then looked at all his bars and they're

pretty basic but I like this one because once again had that classic Morgan face

on it and can't go wrong with that pretty cool design one troy ounce we'll

take it so hopefully you like the rounds I

picked up my last time I showed my silver stack a lot of you are saying

things like you don't have enough rounds and you're right so we're getting in the

round business I'm gonna go ahead and get these into a folder when I get my

rounds folder we'll see how that looks in a folder I can't wait to get them all

separated out and put in there now that I've done that let's go and hunt do

these Mercury dimes since we end up getting a pretty semi key date barber

and that 55s is pretty cool plus a barber dime as well that's not that bad

maybe there's some key dates in here for Mercury's looking for a 16 D in 1921 P

and a 1921 D that'd be awesome to find them or the semi keys which won't get

into now maybe if I find some we'll talk more about him let me get these

separated and let's see what we got all right first order of business was

getting them separated by decade we got four in the 20s five

in the 30s and 53 in the 40s as expected now that we've done that let me go ahead

and flip these over and see what the Year and the MIT marks are on these 20s

and 30s all right for the 20s we did get to 1927 s here this one's out of

Philadelphia pretty common but this one's a 27 s and only 4.7 million of

these are minted in higher grades au 15 above it's a solid solid dime but this

is in not that condition so still it's definitely worth more than a few bucks

for sure and we'll take it 19:28 we got a philadelphia common in

1929 this one also is an S so I think around less than 5 million of these

minted as well another saw it find so a couple of San Francisco mints in the

dimes we'll take that all day only for here but I believe I need a couple of

these for my book so that's pretty good we'll find out in a minute

now let's move on to the 30s so in the 30s pretty good finds we got a 30 for

Philadelphia not bad shape a 36 Denver a 37 Denver 38 Philadelphia and a 39

Philadelphia and I don't know if that's a scratch or a lamination issue looks

like a scratch or a ding but still pretty cool coins as well couple with

mint marks not too shabby now we're gonna move on the 40's and get

them separated by year and we'll take a look at the MIT marks and then we'll see

if we have any of the varieties from the 40s so I've got them stacked by year

obviously 43 has the most with 42 and 41 right behind it then we've got quite a

few 44 s and then 45 and 40 are light there are some pretty nice dives in here

as well let me start off with the 1940 year and see if I have varying mint

marks on those it's always nice when you have only three coins in 1940 and you

have all of the mint marks P D and s so that's nice

let's move on the 1941 we had eight coins for 1941 six of them were the

Philadelphia Mint this was the best of the bunch right there there's some lines

on that column there which is cool we also got one from the Denver Mint and

one from the San Francisco so it's always nice once again getting a

complete set for the year with some extra pills let's move on to 1942 and

I'll be checking both the Philadelphia Mint and the Denver mints if I have them

for the two over one air all right nine Mercury dimes from the

1942 year and once again we did get a P D and s as you can see pretty clearly so

we'll take that I did check the 42 peas for the two over one variety did not

find any and I did check the 42 DS for their 42 or 41 variety none of those

either but I will show you this 42 P it's not in bad shape whatsoever not in

bad shape so pretty happy with that and once again all three events from that

year now under the big stack of 40 threes for 1943 we had a good

distribution of mints we had 10 from 1943 from Philadelphia 5 from the Denver

Mint and 5 from the San Francisco mint so pretty happy with that

once again complete mint set for the 1943 year we'll take it and now move on

to the 44 Mercury dimes 1944 same thing eight of them eight total dimes from

that year we have all three minutes four from the Philadelphia two from the

Denver and two from San Francisco all right now I'm moving on to the 1945

dimes and we'll be checking for the micro mint mark we'll see if we have any

variations continue on the theme guys 1945 we had five coins three

Philadelphia's we ended up getting a Denver and a San Francisco as well so

we've completed all of the 40s we had a PD nest for all of them

it's the 45s so if the midmark was small then it

would be worth more and that looks like a standard sized midmark to me but we

did get a mint mark on each of the 45 44 43 42 41 and 40s so complete set for all

six of those years I should say so overall not a bad pick up from the local

coin shop I'm pretty happy with it really excited about getting these

rounds excited about the Mercury dimes that I picked up he does have a big bag

of quarters but like I said they're pretty pretty washed down I think what

I'll do is I'll take a look at my quarter book take pictures of it and go

down there and maybe pick up some coin fillers and fill my book if I do that

I'll make another pickup video and we'll share that with you guys as well before

I sign out I do want to let you know I'm gonna go ahead and grab my Mercury dime

book here and I'm gonna go ahead and fill up what I have I don't have a lot I

just recently started getting into the Mercury dimes and so but I'm gonna use

these coins pick through the best of every mint mark we'll get them in the

book and then I'll give you some shots of what I have in my book all right

we've got to relook that rechecked check for the details and I've added the ones

to my books that we could replace or add so in the first page all I've got is in

1916 it's really toast obviously don't have a 16 d we also only have a 1925 on

the first page so need a lot of the earlier Mercury dimes page 2 we have a

27 27 D and a 27 s we have the 28 we don't have the D we don't have the S we

don't have a 29 what we do with 29 s we've also got a 34 Philly a 36 a 36d

and a 36 s with a hole in it we've also got a 37 d on the next page start

getting a few more we got the 38 the 39 we got all three from 40 all three from

41 we've got all three from 42 but we don't have the 42 P 2 over 1 or the 42 D

2 over 1 we got all the 43 s as well all the 44 is is well and all the 45s as

well except for the 45 micro s and that s that I showed you on the back of this

one it would be half the size it's tiny so we're missing that one but I'm able

to add quite a few to the Mercury dime book so it's always fun I know so we

were just filters but we've got some pretty nice ones in there too hopefully

you guys enjoyed this LCS pick up and kind of a mellow mini hunt if you did

I'd appreciate a thumbs up and if I go back and get those quarters we'll do

another video anyway everyone as always happy hunting and thanks for watching

Look at me, I'm vlogging!

Stop it goddamnit!

Look at my vlogging!

Stop it

Why?

It's ugly

I refuse to be seen with you

You don't have permission to film me

I WILL NOT believe there is a such law

I just think it's some bullshit, which applies only to minors.

No, it's an actual law!

Well, I guess you're a minor, so...

But it doesn't apply when filming publicly

No, there has to be at least 5 people

There is! Look at the people in the cars!

Five people within five meters*

Wow, you're really not very tall

Why are you wearing that hat?

Don't you think it's pretty?

No, it's ugly.

Oh shit, other people in public

You're still in the wrong side!

Sorry, I was afraid of the traffic warden

Looked like he was the kind of traffic warden to drink beer while working, so that probably won't be a problem

Yeah you're right

$20 if you run for it!

Ha, okay, I'll do it!

What time is it?

It is... 17:07! So we gotta buy some beer and go to the design meetup!

I don't remember the pin

Put down the camera and I'll tell you

I'm not gonna put it down. I'm vlogging!

#VLOGLIFE

Bye!

No no no, it's the #VLOGLIFE

If you put that on the vlog you're an idiot

It's ugly

The funny thing is, you just have to tell people that complain you'll blur their face

You know I'm not gonna do that!

Listen, we'll blur your faces

We'll blur your faces!

Say that one more time and I'll delete this recording

Why is drinking always on a Tuesday?

Let's do a TASTE TEST!

...get your act together...

*Bleep*

That's NOT going in the vlog, it'll be demonitized!

This vlog will turn out so ugly.. How hard can it be to do this?

[moans] what a lovely sound!

Are you ready for the taste test? We have shaken it.

Oh, we should probably tell people what we're tasting

You can just edit that stuff in

It's... DARK!

*Bleep*

DEMONITIZED... TAKE-DOWN!

RICH! DARK! TASTE!

You have to put this in. We can't have someone be saying *bleep*

I just said it again

You'll have to repeat the taste test cuz I said *bleep*

Okay, so we're on our way to my good friend's-

Why are you speaking Danish? Isn't your channel in English?

Yes, but.. mm.. now THIS vlog is in Danish!

We're on our way to-

Yeah, but now it's gonna turn English because there's gonna be a not-that-Danish-speaking friend.

Anyway, my not-that-Danish-speaking friend is arranging a The Design Kids Tuesday meetup, and it's supposed to be right around here.

So there's this problem, that Papa Bird, where the meetup is held is a drinks-place and we got our own drinks on us

So we're going to take the train to the central station, and what are we going to do there?

Yeah we'll put our drinks in a locker

Where did you say the lockers were at?

I don't know, I just know I've seen them before...

Quilling Lowercase Letters abc Alphabet Pattern Templates and Tutorial - Duration: 12:11.

Herzogin Meghans Mini-Täschchen kostet fast 2.000 Euro! - Duration: 3:11.

Sarah Grider for Oregon State Senate D-13 - Duration: 1:40.

- Hi, I'm Sarah Grider and I'm an educational assistant

here at the Newburgh school district.

I'm also my union president with OSEA.

I'm currently running for Oregon State Senate, District 13.

As a veteran, as somebody who's worked in law enforcement with women

who have survived trauma, violence,

and now working in special education,

I've spent my life seeing how the government just continues to leave people behind—

especially now with the national political rhetoric

and how legislation is currently being funded by corporations that leave workers behind.

I can't just sit by and let those things continue to happen.

Working in special education, every day I coach my kids

to do things that they don't think they can do.

And so who am I to sit back and then say, "Well I can't do this."

I'm living my truth and being a good example to my kids

and fighting for them.

I think that it's incredible to see so many women stepping up and stepping forward

and getting their recognition of being professional—

that their skills and values as mothers, as community builders,

and all the things that we do naturally, as women, are being accepted

and valued and seen as an asset in our communities and in the government.

I'm also breaking down barriers and setting things in motion

for other people to have a better chance of leading in the future.

Took it so far to keep you close (Keep you close)

I was afraid to leave you on your own I say I'd catch you if you fall

And if they laugh, then fuck 'em all (All) And then I got you off your knees

Put you right back on your feet Just so you can take advantage of me

Tell me how's it feel sittin' up there Feeling so high but too far away to hold me

You know I'm the one who put you up there Name in the sky

Does it ever get lonely?

Thinking you could live without me Thinking you could live without me

Baby, I'm the one who put you up there I don't know why (Yeah, I don't know why)

Thinking you could live without me Live without me

Baby, I'm the one who put you up there I don't know why (I don't know why, yeah yeah)

Gave love 'bout a hundred tries (Hundred tries)

Jeff Flake: Trump's Joke About Christine Ford Was 'Appalling' - Duration: 2:31.

Sen. Jeff Flake was watching Tuesday night when President Trump made a series of jokes

about Christine Blasey Ford, calling his attacks on her "appalling" on this morning's Today show.

At Trump's Mississippi rally the night before, the erstwhile real-estate mogul mocked the

California professor's sexual-assault allegationsagainst Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh.

There's no time and no place for remarks like that," Flake, an Arizona Republican,

told Today show host Savannah Guthrie early Wednesday. "To discuss something this sensitive

at a political rally is just not right. I wish he hadn't done it. I'd just say it's

kind of appalling." Ford testified to the Senate Judiciary Committee

last week that she was sexually assaulted by Kavanaugh decades earlier. The hours-long

hearing drew widespread disgust. Her emotional testimony riveted an estimated

audience of 22 million live viewers, creating a bitter divide between those who believe

her and those who support Kavanaugh, who allegedly held down and groped Ford at a summer 1982

high-school party while his friend Mark Judge egged him on. The two allegedly laughed as

Kavanaugh held his hand over Ford's mouth to keep her from screaming out for help.

Two other accusers, Deborah Ramirez and Julie Swetnick, came forward last week to accuse

Kavanaugh of exposing himself in college and of involvement in a series of gang-rapes at

house parties, respectively. Sen. Flake and Sen. Chris Coons (D-DE) came

to an agreement last week that called for a seven-day FBI investigation during a cease-fire

in the hearings before a final vote on Kavanaugh's nomination is called.

Both men appeared on Wednesday's show. Coons told Guthrie he hopes that "the FBI's

been allowed to follow all of the reasonable leads from the credible allegations" before

completing its assessment. Last week the president—himself an accused

sexual predator—described Ford's testimony as "compelling" and "credible," standing

in sharp contrast to his attack at the rally, in which he imitated Ford saying "I don't

remember" and "I don't know" about details of the alleged assault when she was

questioned by Arizona sex-crimes prosecutor Rachel Mitchell.

The Mississippi crowd laughed.

The details about that night that bring me here today are ones I will never forget,"

Ford said last week. "The stairwell, the living room, the bedroom,"

she said. "The laughter, the uproarious laughter, and the multiple attempts to escape."

Those details, she testified, "have been seared into my memory and have haunted me."

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) filed cloture to end debate on Kavanaugh's

McConnell made an announcement from the Senate floor Wednesday night–he is moving forward

to set up the confirmation vote on Saturday.

The Senate Majority Leader said there will be plenty of time for Senators to review the

FBI's report on Kavanaugh and he wanted to commit to his end of week vote.

Senators and a limited number of aides will be able to look at the FBI report beginning

Thursday morning, according to FOX News. CHAD PERGRAM: McConnell files cloture to end

Mitch McConnell is fulfilling his promise to "plow through" and confirm Brett Kavanaugh

to the Supreme Court. Earlier Wednesday, McConnell put Senate Minority

Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) in his place and denied his request to give an all Senators

"And in all candor, I believe it would be used to further delay this nomination–a

goal about which you and your Democratic colleagues have been abundantly clear and single-minded

in pursuing," McConnell wrote to Schumer. Watch Mitch McConnell in action from the Senate

BREAKING: CHRISTINE FORD COACHED FRIEND ON PASSING POLYGRAPH, LIED UNDER OATH - Duration: 5:52.

Christine Blasey Ford's ex-boyfriend submitted a sworn statement that blows her allegations

against Judge Brett Kavanaugh out of the water.

The man describes how Ford coached a friend on how to pass a polygraph, lied about her

fears of flying, and never once mentioned Kavanaugh's name during their six years

together.

Ford "passed" her own polygraph before testifying.

Trending: GAME!

After FBI Questions Ford Witnesses, They Drive Final Nail Thru Her Coffin

This is a big one, folks.

It basically proves that Ford lied under oath before the Senate Judiciary Committee.

YUGE.

California.

I first met Christine Blasey (now Dr. Christine Blasey Ford) in 1989 or 1990 in California.

From 1990-91, I was just friends with Ford.

From approximately 1992 to 1998.

I was in a relationship with Dr. Ford.

I found her truthful and maintain no animus towards her.

During our time dating, Dr. Ford never brought up anything regarding her experience as a

victim of sexual assault, harassment, or misconduct.

Dr. Ford never mentioned Brett Kavanaugh.

During some of the time we were dating, Dr. Ford lived with Monica L. McLean who 1 understood

to be her life-long best friend.

During that time, it was my understanding that McLean was interviewing for jobs with

the FBI and the US Attorney's Office.

I witnessed Dr. Ford help McLean prepare for a potential polygraph exam.

Dr. Ford explained in detail what to expect, how polygraphs worked and helped McLean become

familiar and less nervous about the exam.

Dr. Ford was able to help because of her background in psychology.

Dr. Ford and I lived together while we were dating and stayed together in a long-distance

relationship when Dr. Ford moved to Hawaii sometime around 1998, although I am not sure

of the particular year and it might have been a bit earlier or later.

While visiting Ford in Hawaii, we traveled around the Hawaiian islands including one

time on a propeller plane.

Dr. Ford never indicated a fear of flying.

To the best of my recollection Dr. Ford never expressed a fear of closed quarters, tight

spaces, or places with only one exit.

I assisted Dr. Ford with finding a place to live in

CA.

She ended up living in a very small, 500 sq. ft. house with one door.

Despite trying to maintain a long distance relationship, I ended the relationship once

I discovered that Dr. Ford was unfaithful while living in Hawaii.

After the break up, I took her off the credit card we shared.

But nearly 1 year later, I noticed Dr. Ford had been charging the card, and charged about

$600 worth of merchandise.

When confronted, Dr. Ford said she did not use the card, but later admitted to the use

after I threatened to involve fraud prevention.

I didn't speak again to Ford until about 2002 when Ford contacted me briefly.

After that I hadn't thought much about her until I saw her story in the Washington Post

on Sunday, Sept. 16, 2018.

I do not want to become involved in this process or current investigation, but wanted to be

truthful about what I know.

BREAKING: Fox's @johnrobertsFox obtains letter from Ford ex-boyfriend alleging: dated

for 6 yrs, never told of sex assault, Ford coached friend on taking polygraph, flew frequently

w/o expressing any fear of flying/tight spaces/limited exits.

Doesn't want to b/c "involved".

More on Ford getting busted potentially lying, per RealClear Investigations:

Ford testified last week that she had never revealed the details of the alleged attack

until 2012, when she was in couples therapy with her husband.

She said the memories percolated up as they revisited a disagreement they'd had over

her insistence on installing a "second front door" when they had remodeled their Palo

Alto, Calif., home.

The need to explain a decision her husband "didn't understand," Ford testified,

pushed her to say she wanted the door to alleviate symptoms of "claustrophobia" and "panic

attacks" she still

[Just For Fun] FEH: Celica, Boey, Mae and Faye vs Robin GHB & LHB Infernal - Duration: 8:16.

IV: +Def -Atk

IV: +HP -Spd

IV: +Atk -HP

IV: +Spd -Res

This team can clear Robin GHB Infernal with fewer customisations

But I was lazy about swapping skills and wanted just do both runs with the same builds

First up: Robin GHB Infernal

That tile will be where I attack from next turn

Faye gains +18 def and res against ranged enemies if they initiate combat

She was built with arena assault in mind

And I carried this over for these runs

Due to his high Def, and their choice of specials, neither the Green Axe nor the Blue Lance can hurt Boey

With Boey acting as the wall, Faye's charging up her special

Next up: Robin LHB Infernal

I forgot to switch off combat animations, sorry

Due to Ally Support, Boey gets stat buffs from being near Mae

The top enemies are trying to get down this choke point

Boey is used to block them off, while the others deal with the reinforcements

The enemy can reach us from two sides

But movement assist skills allow Celica to help take out the Fliers...

...whilst escaping from the Blue Manakete's range

Moving Mae to support Boey's Def

The Ranged Cav is a problem for Celica, but she also has to take out the Green Flier

With the buffs from owltome and adjacent allies, Mae can tank a hit from the Blue Manakete

With Blazing Light and Desperation, Celica cna take out the Blue Manakete

Now that all the reinforcements are dealt with, time to take the group at the top

How to Change Minds | A Street Epistemology-Inspired Comic - Duration: 9:11.

<suspenseful music>

'How to Change Minds'

By Rebecca Fox.

Narrated by Anthony Magnabosco.

<subway sounds>

We all walk around with

towers of beliefs

stacked in our heads.

Though we are not always conscious of them,

we are always guarding them.

Negotiating carefully

so as not to upset the balance.

<suspenseful music>

Some people's towers

are so tall and precarious

that they are too scared to move.

Some people are so good at balancing

it seems to defy physics.

Some people are reckless,

constantly losing blocks

and picking up new ones.

<rumbling sounds>

<thumping dance music>

Some people's towers are short and sturdy,

they can dance without fear of falling.

Some people's towers are so high

they can't enter certain rooms...

...and others have towers just tall enough

to ride the ride that they want to ride.

<roller coaster sounds>

<suspenseful music>

Protecting our tower are two characters...

...the prince and the beast.

The prince might be a scientist,

a philosopher,

or a politician.

They can be of any, or no, gender.

Mine kind of looks like Patrick Bateman.

The best is always ugly,

and always scared.

<suspenseful music>

The prince and the beast can't see the tower,

they just know they have to protect it.

The prince does this with wit and eloquence...

<kiss sound>

...he is, after all, quite charming...

...and a master of misdirection.

<eye wink>

If someone gets too close to the tower,

he'll distract them with a joke.

<laughing sounds>

When cornered

he might even give up a few top blocks...

<block shuffling sounds>

...to preserve the overall structure.

<suspenseful music>

But if anyone goes for those bottom blocks,

the foundational beliefs,

they meet the beast.

<low beast growling sounds>

The beast will not let you take those blocks.

He will fight and bite and claw for them.

Like all violence and anger

his is motivated by fear.

He knows how much is invested in the bottom blocks.

Perhaps it's someone's livelihood,

or their connection to the people they love,

or their entire identity.

He knows what will happen if the tower falls.

The best is not stupid,

he knows how people work,

and how to hurt them.

<suspenseful music>

If you want to try and change anyone's beliefs

you have to contend with their prince and their beast.

Looking for loose blocks.

Probing to see if they'll come out easy.

If there's a millimeter of wiggle room.

While, if you're lucky,

the prince tries to disarm you...

...or, if you're unlucky, the beast attacks.

<low beast growling noise>

They may be sleazy and scary,

but their intentions are noble.

They think that by protecting the tower

they are keeping their host safe.

<suspenseful music>

<rain sounds>

Maybe, if you're quick,

you can reach in and pull out a few loose blocks.

The person might even thank you for lightening the load.

But maybe you get gouged by the beast.

<loud beast growling sounds>

<thunder sounds>

Or you choose the wrong block,

and instead of helping them

carefully deconstruct it

the whole tower tumbles haphazardly...

<blocks crashing sounds>

...and in the chaos someone gets hurt.

<suspenseful music>

Either way,

rooting around inside someone's head

while they're not looking

seems kinda rude.

<suspenseful music>

That's why the best way to change other people's beliefs,

or to change your own...

...is not by gingerly prising blocks out one at a time.

Oh...

It's by acknowledging that the tower exists.

And by asking...

How did you build that?

Why did you build that?

What's keeping that up?

The prince and the beast aren't on guard for questions like that.

<hopeful music>

So while they're on a coffee break...

<coffee drinking sounds>

You get to talk to the person themselves,

make a genuine connection.

Instead of debating the merits of specific beliefs,

you can consider how you decided which blocks to build your towers with.

The higher-up blocks might have been chosen

because they made us feel good,

or just happened to be lying around.

You may find that most of us

didn't choose our bottom blocks at all.

Those foundational beliefs were laid

by our culture,

our society,

or our parents.

Once we know why the blocks are there,

we can step back

and take a long hard look at our tower...

<hopeful music>

...and consider,

wouldn't it be a lot easier to get by with a shorter one...

...made of beliefs

we consciously chose

because we had

solid evidence to support them?

<thumping dance music>

You know,

something you can dance in?

<thumping dance music continues>

Talking...

and thinking...

about the tower

is what philosophers call epistemology

and if you want to change your own

or someone else's mind

it's the best game in town...

...because it allows us to talk about beliefs

in a way that is kind,

supportive...

...and less likely

to end in rubble.

<dance music continues>

The End.

7 C's of Business - Coach Vanda Martin - Duration: 7:28.

- Are you struggling in conversion?

Are you having difficults in business and in sales?

Today, our video is going to help you

to close more transactions and improve your business.

Are you ready?

(upbeat music)

Hey warrior, welcome to the Vanda Martin channel,

a place for high energy, great mindsets,

wonderful things about business, wellness,

and everything to get you to the next level.

So today, let's talk about the Cs of sales.

And I will promise you, if you work on those Cs

your business gonna go through the roof.

Are you ready, let's go.

(electronic music)

So let's get it started.

We are going to talk about the seven Cs of conversion

of business of sales.

Please remember the last C

is one of the most important ones so, stick around.

C number one, super important, clarity.

Clarity my dear warrior,

if you don't know what you want,

where are we going, why are you going,

we cannot put a plan together.

And in order to plan, in order to prepare,

we've got to have clarity.

Clarity is gonna help you to know what to do,

who to hire, what to read, what to learn,

so you can put this plan together and take massive action.

Let's know what we want, let's know the outcome.

And the second C, super important.

The second C is care.

My friends, when your clients know that you care,

when you show that you care,

they want to do business with you.

So how do they know that you care?

By listening, by talking to them in the way

that they can see that you are paying attention,

that you are here to provide value, contribution.

So, care, care, the customer today,

the client today wants to trust you.

They wanna trust you, they wanna like you,

they wanna do business with you, so bring empathy.

Care for your people and your business grow.

And the next C is consistent action.

My dear warrior, action is what brings momentum,

There Mr. More again, he's always have to be in the house

because with momentum, with consistent action,

you get busy, you get business,

because in action you will have activities,

you have contracts, you have sales,

you have money, and that's what makes business grow.

And that's what makes life grow.

As you can see are outside here

enjoying the wind in action,

so we can bring this content for you.

So again, consistent action

is how we create Mr. More,

how we keep Mr. More in the house,

and you have more business.

It raises your energy and makes you

feel powerful and amazing.

Let's keep consistent house,

consistent action, Mr. More in the house.

Next C, it's so cool, oh cool is a C too,

I like that, cool C.

So let's talk about the next C, conviction.

What is conviction?

Conviction is a belief, conviction is a feeling,

it's a really strong belief,

and when you have conviction, what happens?

You talk with a strong emotion.

You talk with a belief that you're saying

is the right thing you're saying what you're saying is true.

And that my friends,

that brings a lot of trust to your clients.

Conviction, just like the wind

is blowing right now, is a reality.

It's conviction is what helps you to convert more business.

(upbeat music)

The next C is confidence.

Confidence is self assurance.

Confidence is an attitude.

Have you ever met someone with a lot of confidence?

They just walk the talk, they move with confidence,

they look good, they have their shoulder up.

Confidence is an attitude.

Now you act with conviction,

your confidence goes to the roof.

So confidence and conviction, it's a good combination.

Really makes sales, conversion, really good, really better

because again you are bringing the certainty

and that's our next point.

The next C is certainty.

What is certainty?

Certainty now is a state of being.

Warriors, my dear friends,

I wanna let you know that certainty

is the most important C with the next one as well.

Certainty is when you are

in completely control of the situation.

The clients can feel, they smell,

they can they can feel your vibration,

they can hear in your voice, your whole attitude.

So when you have certainty,

you have confidence and conviction, all together.

And now you are the Jedi, you are the master,

because let me tell you a secret,

lemme tell you a big hack,

the person with the highest certainty

in the room, always wins.

Because certainty is, I can do it for you,

I'll take care of everything.

I will make it happen, it's done sugar, it's done honey.

Mr. Client, Mr. Client I'll take care of you.

Certainty is the secret sauce.

Super warrior, now, the final C,

one of the most important one and many times

are the one that people don't do.

The C of close.

Close, guys and girls, closing is part of the presentation.

Closing is part of the process,

you cannot have a presentation

and not finish and not close the deal.

So why do we close?

We close to tell the client that we are ready and able,

we have the skills, experience, the knowledge,

the interest, and we want the business.

We let them know that we are ready for you

and that's how we do it.

Close, it's easy when you present really well.

When you have all the other Cs,

when you have care, clarity,

when you have conviction, confidence, certainty,

close is just, let's go ahead and do it.

I'm ready, are you ready?

Seems like we have everything ready to go

all we need to do now is put me to work, lemme help you.

Again, close, do your best job in sales.

Always close, ABC, always be closing.

(upbeat music)

I hope you enjoyed this video.

If you do please click here below give us a like,

give us a comment, how do you like your Cs, or our Cs?

Do you have any other Cs that you are working on in sales?

I hope you stay here with us, come back soon.

My name is Vanda Martin, I'm a master coach

with Tom Ferry International.

It's a pleasure having you here.

Thank you for your time and I'll see you soon.

AC Milan 3-1 Olympiacos: Higuain, Cutrone mount Rossoneri rescue act - Duration: 2:05.

Gonzalo Higuain returned from injury to help a Patrick Cutrone-inspired AC Milan come from behind in a 3-1 win over Olympiacos in the Europa League

Argentina striker Higuain, sidelined with a leg problem for the past two matches, scored in between Cutrone's crucial brace amid a game-changing burst of three goals in nine second-half minutes

Milan had slipped back into old habits prior to their 70th-minute equaliser, struggling to convert possession into chances as their six-match unbeaten run in all competitions appeared destined to end

But, having fallen behind to Miguel Angel Guerrero's first-half header, the Serie A side rallied upon Cutrone's introduction and overcame a lacklustre opening hour to stay top of Group F on six points

Milan would have been ahead early had an offside Samu Castillejo not absent-mindedly touched Giacomo Bonaventura's goal-bound header into the net

Instead, they fell behind from Olympiacos' first real attack in the 14th minute as Leonardo Koutris crossed for Guerrero to expertly nod into the bottom-right corner

Jose Sa protected the advantage with a low save from Higuain and the Portuguese goalkeeper should have been worked a second time before the break, but Castillejo misjudged Suso's inviting delivery

The Rossoneri steadily stepped up the pressure after the interval and parity came when Cutrone met Ricardo Rodriguez's cross with a looping header

Suddenly buoyed, a second came six minutes later through Higuain's cool-headed finish in a crowded box and the startling comeback was quickly capped off by Cutrone, the match-winner tapping home from fellow substitute Hakan Calhanoglu's fizzing low ball across the face
