Florida's immense wetlands provide ample habitat for many species

of turtles and cooters are the most

common of them all. Cooters includes all

turtles in the Pseudemys genus such as

river cooters, pond cooters and red-

bellied turtles. They are aquatic,

hard-shelled turtles, primarily found in the

swamps, rivers and lakes of the Southeastern United States.

Cooters are omnivorous in general and feed on animal

dead or alive occasionally. But they gorge

on water lilies and the commotion

attracts its most feared predator the

American alligator!

Cooters prefer basking near the water to

escape quick when detected by a predator.

When an escape is no longer possible

they remain motionless to discourage an

attack. But alligators are persistent and

will stalk potential prey for hours until

the slightest movement gives them away.

A fully grown American alligator

generates a bite force around 2,000

pounds per square inch which is enough

force to crush any hard shell turtle!

But cooters are always on high alert and

difficult to hunt in the open.

They are quite fast underwater too and alligators

usually don't waste much energy chasing

after them.

Ambush predation remains the best technique for alligators to

catch such fast prey...

... and this surrounded by hungry hunters there's little chance

of an escape! But on the other hand

alligators can be quite clumsy when

hunting on land.

How to cook Capsicum Mix Bowl - Duration: 8:28.

Today we have such an experimental cook with us.

Capsicum Mix Bowl.

What are the ingredients?

If we cut the upper portions of these capsicums,

they will take the shapes of bowls.

So how we will start?

First we will cut the capsicums.

We will just cut the upper portion like this.

And we will take the seeds out.

It's very easy to cut as these capsicums are soft.

And it looks great.

What's next?

Now we will mix the ingredients in a bowl.

One cup of grated paneer,

grated carrots, tomatoes and soya chunks.

After mixing the ingredients, we add some salt.

Just a pinch for now.

And a little sugar.

The oven is on.

This smell of melting butter is irresistible!

How do you like it?

It's my favourite too.

Now we add some salt again.

And then fry the capsicums a little.

We don't need to fry it for long.

It's just for the flavour.

For the stuffing, we need to fry some ingredients separately.

First we take 4 tablespoons of white oil.

Now we fry the chopped onions.

And chopped ginger and green chilies.

Onions are golden brown already.

Now we add that mixture.

After cooking for a while, we will add black pepper powder.

We will take the mixture inside the capsicum bowl.

Now we will make the egg poach.

So now the capsicum mix bowl is ready.

With egg poach and caps.

It tastes awesome.
