Hey tankers!
In today's episode, we'll be discussing the recent changes for M3 micro-upgrades.
We'll also be talking about the new communications panel,
and our adventures on low gravity maps.
A week ago we had a live Q&A session with Cedric,
the international community manager.
In it, we discussed the changes in the micro-upgrades system for M3s.
Now, the latest update has slashed the price for M3 upgrades and speed ups…
by fifty percent!
Additionally, each step only takes half the time.
However, the number of steps has remained the same,
so there are still 20 steps.
On the livestream, we also discussed a new communications panel.
That update is now in the game.
Here's what has changed.
The chat window can now be switched
to show you the latest News, the standard chat, or the clan chat.
We've done this to make in-game news easier to find.
Before the update,
if a player clicked on an in-game alert, even by accident,
it would disappear forever,
and the player would have no way of seeing it again.
But with this update, players can now find the latest news,
and even past announcements, in the new section.
By the way, if you missed the livestream,
you can watch it on our Youtube channel.
The link is in the description.
More cool news!
On April 12, we celebrated Cosmonautics Day.
For the event, we had double funds, sales and lots of themed decorations.
But the coolest part was that every map in the game
received a Space mode that when activated,
reduces the gravity in maps.
This new option can be found in the dropdown menu
where you usually find the Summer, Winter and Night options.
Most importantly, this new mode has remained in the game after the event.
Now it's easier than ever to fly, fight, and do parkour!
Some of our tankers remember Moon Silence.
This map was removed from the game in 2013
due to the cheating connected to its low gravity.
We've brought this type of maps back into the game for two reasons.
First of all, we've upgraded our anti-cheat system.
Second, space maps can only be played as PRO-battles,
so if cheaters manage to find some loopholes in the system,
the consequences won't be as serious as before,
and players will be able to avoid them by staying out of such battles.
There have been a lot of questions and misunderstandings
about the new rank limits, especially after the recent updates.
You can change rank limits when creating a battle.
By default, there is an optimal rank limit,
but you can make it smaller or bigger by moving the brackets left and right.
You can even make a battle for a single rank.
The problem is, the smaller the rank bracket,
the harder it will be to fill that battle.
Of course, many of you already knew how this worked.
But if this tip has helped at least one player, then it was worth it.
eSports!
Last week, team «I Don't Know» from the International Community,
beat Russian team Revolution with a score of 5:1,
in the grand final of the Lords of the Points economy category.
They took home the coveted championship title,
plus plenty of crystals, XT items, the Spectrum M-B protection module,
and the prestigious Acid paint.
We'd like to congratulate them on their success,
and wish them even more victories in future tournaments!
This weekend, we'll be having another giveaway event,
similar to what we did for the Striker and Magnum release.
You will be able to get gold boxes, protection modules,
AND upgraded equipment.
To take part, players must destroy tanks in NON PRO battles over the weekend.
Players who make 250 kills on Saturday OR Sunday, will get 3 gold boxes.
Hitting 700 kills will bring a reward of 5 golds.
And those players who can make 1200 kills on either day,
will get 10 golds, plus a protection module of their choice, available for purchase.
Additionally, we'll be randomly choosing two tankers,
one from Saturday and one from Sunday,
who made more than 700 kills.
These two lucky players will receive their chosen turret,
hull or protection module.
But that's not all!
All weekend, we'll also be having double battle funds in all NON-PRO battles.
Video of the Week!
In episode 129 of the V-LOG,
we asked you to shoot a video with the theme
"How I caught a special April Fool's gold box".
Here is the best entry!
Now, it's time to show us your combat skills with Magnum.
Make sure it's in a REAL battle, and NOT parkour.
And use the white paint.
50 thousand crystals await the author of the best video.
That's it, tankers!
Watch the livestream if you still haven't checked it out, and… play Tanki of course!
See ya!
Last time we showed you screenshots from a map,
and you had to guess its name.
Many of you answered DESERT…. but you were wrong.
The correct answer is... Novel.
Here are our winners, and here's the new question!
