Hey guys, I just want to show you where I am right now.
I don't know if you can see.
I found a really pretty lake.
I'm on a solo adventure.
I have no idea if I'm actually on the correct trail that I was trying to find for the last
hour.
But either way it's really beautiful, and the drive up here was so beautiful.
I saw the most gorgeous horses.
And lots of beautiful scenery.
So, wherever I am is where I am.
Feels pretty safe to vlog out here.
I don't see anybody around.
If I do I'm just gonna stop talking and act like I'm taking a picture, because there's
something about vlogging that's really embarrassing.
But anyways.
It's been a life goal of mine this year to uh, wow, I see what they said this trail was
really overgrown, and I see what they mean.
Look how crazy it is.
Um.
Let's just hope I'm on the trail still.
Nothing like a massive electric tower to enjoy your hike.
I'm walking on what looks like it could be a trail.
If I do get lost I can just follow these power lines back to the main trail.
And I have a trail map too with GPS so that helps.
So yeah it's been a huge goal of mine to you know, kind of stop like, waiting to live until
I have a boyfriend again to do things with or, cuz it's just, I don't know when that's
gonna happen or if it's gonna happen, you know?
This is really cool.
Anyways, I just wanted to be able to get out and live, and if I have to do things by myself,
I need to get used to that because you know, being an independent person means you gotta
do things on your own.
Okay, I'm gonna show you guys how crazy the trail is here.
It goes down.
They warned that this trail was really like, not maintained, but it goes out to this vista
point over the lake and I really want to go see that.
Let's see if there's... there might be a way to get down to the water, I'm not sure.
I just had to walk through a ton of spiky bushes.
They were not kidding about this trail like, not being done.
But I had come so far, and I was already really scratched up so I might as well just keep
going at this point.
It's really beautiful, and it's super worth it.
I'm doing this whole trip as part of like, there's so much spikies, ow, as part of um,
manifesting goodness, and just feeling appreciative for all this beauty.
I don't know if you can see.
I can't see anything on my camera, it's too bright.
So it's just all about manifesting goodness, being in abundance, and being thankful, and
this is a really nice place to feel that way.
I don't know if you can hear me, the wind is really blowing, but um, I just hiked through
all of that.
From way over there.
To get to this nice bench which is the halfway point of the hike.
The lookout point of the lake.
So I think I'm gonna sit here and have some lunch.
And then I'm gonna start back, because even though it's a while before sunset I don't
know 100% if this trail loop continues or if I'm gonna have to backtrack the whole way.
And if I do have to backtrack the whole way, that's gonna be super annoying, so, I don't
want it to get dark out here and have a scary-movie adventure out here by myself, even though
that does sound like something that would happen to me.
The breeze is perfect, it's like warm, but the breeze is cool, it's literally the perfect
temperature right now.
And I'm really glad I did this hike and I'm really glad I'm out here, it's just so cleansing
for the soul to be out here.
yeah, it's just really nice, so I'm gonna eat my salad that I brought and then get moving
again.
So I am having to backtrack, like I suspected I might.
The trail just, the loop just wasn't a thing.
Those people are rockin out.
They're like yeaaaahhhh.
Um.
So there just wasn't, and it sucks because I don't know, I love loop trails because you
don't have to see the same part twice, you know, but and I also didn't want to have to
walk through all the poison oak again, but it is what it is.
It's worth the workout and it's worth this beauty that I saw today.
This is definitely... this is definitely a workout.
I don't know if you can see down there, but that peak down there, that point, the little
bench where I ate lunch is down there.
So I climbed up all this, and now I'm gonna go the rest of the way.
Definitely a work out.
So, I'm almost back to my car now.
I survived my solo hiking venture.
Um, it was really good, really beautiful, I got lots of good Instagram pics.
I had a really nice picnic lunch.
I just breathed in the fresh air and the sunshine, and my soul's revived, and I accomplished
my goal, and I'm ready to move forward attracting abundant things and accomplishing new goals
from here, and I just know everything is gonna be great, so this is gonna be the end of this
little vlog, and thanks for watching, I'm just gonna make this its own little video
documentary of me doing this little hike.
