Youtube daily report Jun 8 2017

The CFT wasn't as bad as I thought it would be.

- It was a half-mile run, ammo can lifts, and a Maneuver Under Fire.

The ammo cans, it's just like muscle endurance type of thing.

- Cans probably like 30 pounds.

The minimum requirement is like probably 60, but you always wanna push yourself to 100

because that's the max effort.

Maneuver Under Fire, you start down on your stomach, and you run to a set of cones to

do a J Hook, the low crawl, high crawl, and then you pretty much zig-zag through some

cones.

You buddy drag and then fireman's carry all the way back to the start line.

And then you pick up two 30 pound ammo cans and run back all the way to the zig-zags,

throw a simulated grenade towards a designated area, and then you get down, do three push-ups,

pick up the ammo cans and run back to the finish line.

It's pretty challenging, to be honest with you.

It's not as big a cake walk as people would think.

A Journey Through Marine Corps Boot Camp - Week 12 - Duration: 1:43.

Final VFT was, it was fairly simple.

It was a lot easier than the initial.

We got a lot of extra work in and cut a lot of our run times down, and boosted up our

crunches and pull-ups.

- I was able to do 21 pull-ups, 125 crunches, and my run time, was probably like 22 minutes,

so it wasn't that bad.

The importance of Final Drill is always being a team, being better then others.

Everything's just a competition, and you always wanna be the best.

Overall, Final Drill was probably one of the funniest parts of the last week.

The Crucible was more of like a team work based thing, and if you didn't have team work

communication, it made it a lot more difficult.

The most challenging part about the Crucible, it was combating the heat, and the lack of

sleep, and the lack of food, really.

All that was going through my head was, I wanted to drop, I wanted to drop.

And then I just kept thinking was, like dang, this is gonna be the last nine mile hike I'm

gonna do.

I wanted to meet my family, I wanna see my family, so I'ma keep on going.

Over the top with everything happy, very happy, because not only do I become a Marine, I

get to see my family.

Get handed that EGA by one of our drill instructors, and then congratulating

us, it was a very, very emotional moment.

Probably the proudest moment of all of our lives so far.

How to make Anthropologie statement earrings DIY Anthropologie inspired statement earrings || SHANiA - Duration: 3:03.

Hi guys! So, today I'm going to be showing you how to make these super cute

Anthropologie- inspired statement earrings, and yeah, let's get into it. So, the first thing

that you want to do is: on a sheet of paper you want to draw a square that

measures three eighths by three eighths. Then, after that, you want to draw a triangular

shape along the left side, and along the right side of the square. Then, after that,

you want to erase the two lines that were once the edge of the square. There

you have the top part of your earring, and we'll call this Part A. After that,

you want to trace a circle onto your paper. Then, after that you want to draw a

horizontal line straight through the middle of the circle. So, starting from

one end where the circle and the middle horizontal line intersect you want to

draw a diagonal line that extends about seven eighth inches and about 45 degrees

outwards. After that, you want to draw a curve to connect the bottom of the two

diagonal lines and we'll call this Pattern B. After that, you want to

trace a circle onto a sheet of paper and we'll call this, Pattern C. Then, after

that you want to cut out the pattern. So cut out your Pattern A, your Pattern B,

and your Pattern C, and you want to trace it onto your foam sheet. And then, when

you're done you're going to cut out your shapes. And, once you cut out your shapes

here's where you can decide what colors you want to use. So, for example, for my

Pattern A I'm going to use black, and for my Pattern B I'm going to use pink,

and then for my Pattern C I'm going to try to do a nice little pattern with

like brown and white. Then once you've done

that you want to poke a hole through the bottom of Pattern A, and then you want to

poke a hole through the top of Pattern B, and then you want to poke a hole through

the top of Pattern C, and through the bottom of Pattern C as well.

Once you have poked all of your holes, you're going to take your jump rings and

you're just going to connect Pattern A to Pattern B, and then Pattern B

to Pattern C, and then you're going to repeat these steps again with the other set.

And then, after that you are going to flip it over and you're going to put a

little bit of glue on your earring post, and then you're going to attach your

earring post to the top of Part A of each earring, and you are all done

The same technique works with other vegetables as well.

How To Shift Road Bike Gears. At Least This Is How I Do It. - Duration: 4:59.

Watched a video the other day explaining how to shift your bike going

from small to larger cogs and the relationship with the kangaroo pointing

out the more you get into cross chain situations more friction you encounter

and the more you're going to lose off your wattage not to mention how much

more we're going to put on your drivetrain I mentioned that because one

of the techniques that he uses and shifting between his chain rings is one

that I fell into a while back primarily because I've only had a seven-speed so

so my lower chainring and i get toward the other into the cogs starts to feel

like I can push a little bit harder I need to move up to my bigger chainring I

simultaneously she have to my upper chain ring and shift down on cog at the

same time so that when I do engage the logic changing I move from a cog that

would give me a substantial amount of drag if you will or a lot more

resistance to overcome it too big a ratio in other words so yeah that's one

of the things that he pointed out so I said yeah I know that I you've been

doing that all along but kind of fun to find out some of the nuances about road

get into that habit stop pedaling and shifting it's hopefully uh here together

do what develop much better habits

and I used to do the same thing when I first rose I mean I shifting all over

the place gears would be smacking into each other

when I first learned the technique is taking the pressure off before you shift

I could not believe how much different my bike felt so anyway saw that video

recently and I said ya know what you're talking about
