hey guys it's Hashtag Zoe welcome back to my channel so for today's video I have the

elf cosmetics and heart defensor collab on their coffee n' cream

full-faced using this highlighter so I'm gonna do half of my face using coffee

half of my face using cream and we are going to glow let me tell you we're

gonna glow

Hashtag Zoe

full face using only e.l.f. cosmetics heart defensor coffee n' cream duo

okay so I just got this in the mail yesterday and I figured what better way

to test it and give it a first impression than to literally put it all

over my face so first I think let's start with coffee and I'm gonna put

coffee on this side and I'm gonna put cream on this side and I'm basically

gonna look like palates let's go start this so I just have this flat top kabuki

brush and I'm just gonna wow you know one swipe and I'm already glowing to the

gods okay so I just did this isn't like my shade if your foundation but I'm so

I'm still using coffee and it was honestly for a highlighter it has great

coverage not gonna lie now would I actually wear this look out yes oh okay

probably not but I am definitely gonna be using this highlighter this coverage

is amazing and it's so like wait see me from space

okay so I'm gonna be taking my finger and just connecting and why not add some

eye shadow highlighter so this side of my face is coffee away but I'm gonna

do one more coat just to make sure I have the full coffee capacity on my face

okay so now that I've done my foundation on this side I'm gonna apply some

highlighter I'm gonna be taking coffee from the coffee n cream duo and

using that as highlighter on this side of my face did it work let's move on to

cream okay now moving on to foundation on the other side my face I'm gonna be

using cream this is the cream shade it is definitely lighter so this will

probably match my pale complexion guys obviously I know that this is not

actually foundation but because it's a full face using

this highlighter I figured out a compound ation because I just need a

full coverage on my skin and honestly this is doing quite a nice job coverage

what I do like about this palette is that I feel like if it mixes it'll give

you a nice shade too like your options

okay and I have a pimple right now and I think I need to cover it with this

foundation Wow honestly it didn't do that bad of a job for a highlighter

covering I'm pulling pretty good okay so I'm just gonna be patting this in a

little bit more doing another coat okay wait now I'm really like glowing to the

gods sorry got a glow and why not because there you want to remember you

know I just Jack Frost who actually because I did that on this side I'm

gonna do it on this side and I'm gonna be having glowy brows and lashes okay

guys so now that I am basically this palette um first of all I rate this a

solid 10 out of 10 like the fact that it covers my freckles and my red skin just

on both sides like even this side are you kidding me this is amazing and I

just want to test the not like together mix okay I don't know if you can see

that anything too much on but it is super pretty together and yeah good job

heart and else you guys are the best and I love this this is gonna be my new

everyday highlighter okay guys now let's go outside and see how much this glows

in the sunshine

okay guys thanks so much for watching if you enjoyed this video give a big thumbs

up comment down below which side you think is better coffee or cream in my

opinion I think we could just mix the two together and it could be coffee

cream anyway guys I will see you next week with another video

Will They Still Fit?? - My Life Through Dresses - Duration: 5:08.

I know my hair is weird right now.

I straightened it cause I just couldn't do anything with it, and this is what we're stuck

with, so I'm goin' with it.

Hi everybody, I'm Amanda the G and you might be like 'hey Amanda, why are you standing

and why can you move around so much?'

I was going through my closet to try and switch out the winter stuff from the summer stuff

cause it's FREEZING here.

And I came across some dresses from my past so I figured, let's see if they still fit

and tell a little story about each.

We're starting with the oldest one.

This is from my sophomore year in high school.

I have no idea if this fat ass is going to fit into this dress (laughing).

(strained grunting) This skirt is so uncomfortable!

This kind of scares me that this still fits this good.

There's room in this shit. (dress crinkling) This was for the homecoming dance in my sophomore

year, that makes me like 15 when I wore this.

I went to the dance and I THINK that my friend Loren drove us because she might've been 16

by that point, she might have had her license.

But I don't really remember.

I just remember that we went to the dance and then we ended up at Frendly's afterwards,

because I'm from a small town, there's only a few places that we could go to that we could

afford.

If anyone is watching this who went to that dance, something that you didn't know is that

I couldn't wear this dress with underwear at the time because you could see the line,

so this was the ONLY TIME I EVER DID THIS, but I went without underwear and without tights

at that dance.

Let's move on to dress two.

This is my prom dress!

Which means I was like 17 when I wore this.

Moment of truth time.

(zipper) Oh my god.

Holy shit!

Um...

That's right, that's right, I fit in my prom dress!

Holy crap.

Not only does it fit, Amanda has room in her prom dress.

TAKE THAT 17 YEAR OLD SKINNY ASS AMANDA!

The prom was the only dance at all that Amanda actually had a date to.

Shout out to all the high school and middle school students sitting in the bathroom during

every slow song to not look like a loser.

I was there with you.

I used to sit on the sinks.

My friend Leah was gonna go with this guy and she asked him to set me up with my date.

And I don't remember his name.

I think it might've been Rob but I really don't know.

So I'm just gonna call him Rob and I'm sorry I forgot.

The two of us we're supposed to meet at Frendly's - once more, back to Frendly's! - and kind

of get to know each other a little bit before prom.

Rob was awesome and he got up for every slow song to dance with me so I didn't have to

be awkward sitting in the bathroom and pretending that I wasn't sad.

Then we went to the after prom party and he had to leave cause he had to work at like

8 o'clock in the morning.

So he stayed until like 2.

But you couldn't leave the after prom party and go back to it, because the school was

weird like that, so we had a really awkward saying goodbye hug in front of chaperones,

and I've never seen him again.

But then I won a TV, and had to cart it back with 4 inch heels on, and then I got changed,

my friends and I all went out to our local airport that never has anybody flying out

of it, from a frikin' small town, to try and watch the sun rise, but it was cloudy so all

that happened was it eventually got lighter.

And then we went to my friend Shawna's house and we ate pancakes, or rather fell asleep

with pancakes in our laps watching Grease 2.

And that, my friends, is how you do prom!

This is our third and final dress today.

This is from college.

This dress I bought with my best friend.

We went out to try and find dresses for this semi formal event with my team.

It was called the Sinatra party.

We had it on either Frank Sinatra's birthday or as close to it as we could get.

I got to get all classy.

This is, this is college classy Amanda.

Before I went to this dance, I did a little photo shoot with my best friend.

She was an art major so, you know, we took pictures.

And she set up this picture that was my profile picture on Facebook for YEARS.

I'm actually legitimately surprised that I was able to fit into all of these dresses

because I weighed a shit ton less in all of them when I bought them then I do now, which

is why weight is friggin stupid.

That's it for this episode of Amanda's life through dresses - I don't know if that's what

I'm gonna call it, I don't know if there's gonna be another one, let me know if you want

another one.

And if you liked this video, click the like button, and subscribe to my channel, I make

a new video every Tuesday and Friday.

Thank you guys so much for watching.

MWAH!

I feel so glamorous right now!

This is why Amanda wore this dress in high school, because it's fucking glamorous!

Investment fees || SPP - Duration: 3:53.

[Music]

Hi, I'm Bonnie from the Saskatchewan

Pension Plan and welcome again to our

series on Investment Basics. Today we're

going to talk about fees. Let's begin

this segment by stating; regardless of

the type of investment you make, whether

it's in a GIC or a mutual fund, you are

paying fees. In the case of a GIC, the

interest rate you receive is net of the

fees you are paying. When you purchase a

mutual fund the advisor you work with

must tell you how much you are paying

for fund management, sales and other fees.

This information is disclosed on the

Fund Fact sheet. Investment fees do add

up and will affect your savings, so it's

important to pay attention and

understand these costs - and investment

advisors must tell you this information.

So what are fund management fees and why

are they important to you as an investor?

When you invest in a fund you are buying

the expertise of professionals who will

select and manage the investment funds,

and in return you will indirectly pay

the fee for this service. The management

fee encompasses all direct expenses

incurred in managing the investments

such as: hiring a portfolio manager, asset

mix optimization, and risk management. A

fund also incurs operating fees which

include: marketing costs, record-keeping,

custodial fees, legal fees, auditing and

other administrative costs. While these

fees are not directly involved with

making the investment decisions, they are

required to ensure the fund is run

correctly. Together, the management fees

and operating fees make up the

Management Expense ratio or MER. The MER

is a broad measure of how expensive

the fund is to the investor. They are

paid by the fund and are expressed as an

annual percentage

of the average net asset value of the

fund. In general, index and money market

funds charge the lowest management fees

because they require little research or

active management, while equity funds and

particularly foreign equity funds will

charge the highest. Managers of equity

funds must continuously monitor their

investments, and managers of foreign

equity funds generally require more

research in analyzing stock and the

markets they want to invest in. If you

are comparing the MER of different

funds, it's important to make sure that

you're comparing the same type of fund. A

small difference in the MER can make a

big difference over time. For example, if

you make a deposit of $5,000

into a fund that earns a gross

return of 9% a year,

compounded annually, and has an MER of

1%, at the end of 30 years

you'll have a fund worth $50,313. If the

MER is 2%, your fund will only

be worth $38,061 -

a difference of over

$12,252.

Having a clear understanding of

the fees charged by a fund is a

significant component to making an

informed investment decision. Keeping

this cost down is one of the secrets to

building wealth over the long run.

If you have questions about SPP's MER,

contact the number on the screen or

for watching and join us next time.

Cómo ROOTEAR MIUI9 Global [Oficial] Rom cualquier Xiaomi - Duration: 8:11.

Good friends, I'm Manu.

Today we will rootear Global Official MIUI 9.

I'm going to do in my Xiaomi redmi 4A and I will discuss what we will do.

Let's try that do not have root access now.

Root Checker app we use for it.

Click on verify root.

We do not have root access.

Now we activate the USB debugging is the developer options.

To enable them we are going to Settings, phone information.

7 times in a row we press on MIUI version.

I take this opportunity to show you the version of MIUI 9 on which we work.

7.11.16 Beta that is.

We return back to access developer options.

Ahora simplemente flasheamos nuestro fichero zip.

no deja restaurar bien nuestro rooteo.

Entorno a cinco minutos.

37 Weeks Pregnancy Update ⎮ ASL Stew Life - Duration: 7:47.

Hello, I'm Jill.

This is ASL Stew Life.

(cat meow) ♪♪♪

So, 37 weeks pregnancy update.

Right now I'm 37 weeks and...

one, two... three days.

So 37 weeks and 3 days.

But I wanted to film now and hopefully

I'll get this up before 38 weeks.

Actually a lot has happened in the week from 36 to 37, but I will explain.

First, the baby is the size of a honeydew melon.

So that means approximately 19 inches

and OVER 6 pounds!

Could be more or less... I don't know.

So, what's been going on?

This past Tuesday I had an OB appointment,

so I was 36 1/2 weeks technically.

I had that appointment and

she checked my fundal height

and it actually went down 1/2 inch.

Before at 35 1/2 (weeks) I was 35.5 (inches).

Now I was 36 1/2 (weeks) but I was only 35 (inches).

So maybe the baby moved or dropped... I don't know.

But there's not really a big concern about it.

Then checked the heartbeat. Everything was good, 140s - 150s

which has been pretty much the same.

Then I had my cervical check for the first time.

So she checked and said...

I can't remember the effacement, the thinning percentage, I don't remember,

but she said I was 1 cm dilated.

So I mean, it doesn't really mean anything.

You can be 1 cm dilated for a few weeks or a month.

So no big deal.

But I did mention that from Sunday, Monday, and even that day Tuesday,

I had some reduced movement.

Like quite a bit from before.

She said go to the hospital after the appointment and have an NST,

a non-stress test.

Jenna was with me so the two of us went over to the hospital.

They hooked me up and then checked.

The doctor said there were two dips,

but they thought maybe the baby was just moving

and hit the cord or something.

So then they did an ultrasound on four quadrants

to check for fluid.

Said everything was perfectly fine.

All four quadrants were perfect.

I was too nervous to even think to look at the screen,

which I kind of regret that.

But Jenna did luckily and she saw the baby

and said the butt was really cute I guess.

But darn, I wish I had seen it, but anyways.

Then went home and the next day and the next day,

Wednesday and Thursday pretty much as the exact same reduced movement.

There still wasn't much going on.

So Friday I called the OB, the nurse, just to ask for advice.

Is this normal? Like the new normal for me?

Or what should I do?

She said "well..."

Actually after I called, then I had movement of course.

Anyways, she said go back get another NST,

but it wasn't at the hospital. It was at a lab or...

actually it was an ultrasound place.

Anyways, I went there and it was awful. I did not like it.

The woman had me sit down in a recliner.

She hooked me up and said "wow the baby's really low!".

Compared to before, it was mid-belly monitoring.

Now it was much lower, which anyways.

She hooks me up and then she was sitting there

watching, watching, watching, trying to get everything going really quickly.

I had a clicker I had to click every time there was movement

and there was like only one time.

She was not satisfied with that

so she said "I'm just gonna poke around a little bit".

I didn't think it was a big deal,

but she was jabbing and rustling with my stomach.

It was very, VERY uncomfortable.

Whatever!

So she's jabbing around my belly.

The heartbeat's going everywhere.... whatever.

She goes "well you passed".

I don't know, I just didn't like it.

Anyways, I passed.

So the next day Saturday and recently today, Sunday,

both days I've had really good movement.

Baby's been good, so I'm not that concerned right now.

I feel like everything's okay.

I mean, everyday I'm doing my kick count and I've gotten it.

I've never failed that.

My next appointment will be exactly 38 weeks.

So this coming Thursday.

We'll see about the fundal height and all of that.

I can get another cervical check if I want.

I haven't decided. I don't know.

Another thing that happened at 36 1/2 weeks appointment,

I had my Group B Strep test.

She she went ahead, did the swab and two days later I got my results and...

they're negative! Woo!

I was really excited about that.

That means I don't need to get antibiotics.

So if everything else works out okay,

I'm not going to be forced to go to the hospital early

and get IV antibiotics which is awesome!

That makes me really happy.

Other than that, symptom wise...

my feet a little bit swollen but nothing too big.

I'm definitely having more vaginal pain.

Sometimes it feels like a little bit of pressure,

but no big deal there.

It's much harder to get up obviously because I'm huge.

The only other symptom is I'm having a little lower back pain.

That's about it.

I mean it's pretty off and on.

Friday I had a lot of lower back pain.

That was after the appointment where she was jabbing everywhere.

Saturday a little bit and Sunday not really much of any pain.

So we shall see.

Hopefully no labor until after Thursday's appointment

because we're going to see Star Wars that evening.

So hopefully we can see that and then

nobody cares when the baby comes after that.

So we'll see what happens. Who knows.

That's about it, so now belly shot.

I WENT TO A RUSSIAN SPEECH THERAPIST? #LANGUAGETUESDAY - Duration: 11:49.

Hello everyone! Welcome to a new video.

Greetings from a mall!

This is the first of a series of videos I'll be coming out with on Tuesdays

Let's call them:

"Language Tuesdays"!

On Tuesdays I'll be posting videos about different subjects having to do with languages

and hopefully they'll also be in various languages.

Today, I want to tell you guys about

an interesting experience I've had here.

It was something totally new for me.

I went to a see a speech therapist for my Russian!

When one thinks of a speech therapist, for the most part someone comes to mind who works with native speakers

of a certain language who have difficulties pronouncing certain things.

Because of this, I was a bit nervous at first to ask a speech therapist for help

in order to improve my accent, because I thought they might not take me seriously.

However, as it turned out,

there were actually a lot of speech therapists

who were willing to help me out.

And that was great!

How did I ever come up with the idea to go to a speech therapist here in St. Petersburg?

Well, I got this idea from someone

who held a talk a few months in Bratislava about his experience with learning Russian.

He was American, and I was really confused when I heard him talk for the first time,

because his Russian pronunciation was amazing!

He spoke entirely without an accent,

and at first, I was convinced

that he was Russian.

At any rate, he told us

that when he lived in Russia,

he went to a speech therapist

they worked together

and gradually, he began losing his foreign accent in Russian.

So I thought to myself:

"I could do that, too!"

"Just like he did."

A few months later,

I moved to St. Petersburg and-

like pretty much anyone who speaks a foreign language-

I wanted to get rid of my accent.

So I did an internet search,

and I found a few different places.

So let me give you an idea

of how this all went down.

My first lesson was the more expensive of the two.

It cost about 1800 Rubles

it might have been 1700, 1900-

I don't remember exactly-

around 1800.

Compared with prices in other countries

that's really a good deal.

It cost about 30 Euros.

But in Russia, of course, that pretty expensive.

And for me, as a student, it also wasn't very cheap.

Nonetheless, I still wanted to try it out,

so I took the bus to their office,

and had my very first speech therapy session!

The speech therapist was a professional-

Something I'm always going to remember, now,

about Russian-

is something she told me:

"Russians speak with their lips."

Then, she went on to tell me

that I talk more with my jaw.

I guess I just move my jaw to much when I speak

and because of that, my pronunciation is different than that of a Russian speaker.

It really was very interesting.

One of the techniques she used was

she had me stick a chopstick in my mouth

and told me to speak

and I wasn't about to move my jaw up and down

because I had a Chinese chopstick clenched between my teeth!

It honestly really helped, and I even felt the difference.

Now, when I'm just talking freely,

I try to think to not move my jaw to much,

but of course, sometimes I still mess up.

Afterwards, we read a children's book,

and she took notes on my pronunciation.

To summarize the lesson:

It really was very professional,

but a bit to expensive for my taste.

Anyways, after the lesson, I search for a new speech therapist with better prices

and I ended up finding a tutor.

My second lesson cost 1000 Rubles.

that's around 16...

yeah, around 16 Euros.

Of course it was a bit different than the first one-

she didn't have her own office, so we met at a coffee shop.

One of the first things I noticed that was a sort of red flag

was that she said in Russian,

on the letters "O" and "A" change their pronunciation depending on their location in the word.

This is an obvious phenomenon,

like in the word "слово", which isn't pronounced as "sloh-voh", but rather "sloh-vah".

I already new this basic fact about pronuncation, though, of course.

She went on then, to say that the rest of the vowels

are always pronounced exactly the same.

That isn't correct, though.

For example, the word "январь" (yanvar', "January")

it is written as "yan-var",

but as far as I know, everyone says "yin-var"

She did help me, though.

For example, she explained the difference between the sounds "byu" and "b'yu"

like "ub'yu" (I kill), ya ub'yu tebya (I'm going to kill you)

The sound "byu", on the other hand, is pronounced with no pause.

She told me that when I speak,

the pause I take in between those letters is too long.

So,

for example, I might say "govor'yu",

instead of "govoryu" (I speak)

Finding out about that was pretty helpful.

The word "bel'yo" (laundry) is also a good example.

Between these two syllables

there also has to be a small pause.

So don't just go from the first syllable to the second.

It has to be said like "bil. yo."

That was something I had never thought about before.

So let's sum it all up:

A few days after my second speech therapy session, I talked to one of my uni professors

about the fact that I had already been to two separate speech therapists,

and she went on to say that

it may be helpful for me,

but for really great results, I should work with a "phoneticist".

So what the heck is a "phoneticist"?

It's a person who doesn't just deal with the pronunciation of individual letters and sounds,

but also how the sound within words

surrounded by other letters, and how they sound within entire sentences.

This is due to the fact that a foreign accent

doesn't just come from mispronouncing certain letters,

it also has to do with syllable stress, intonation,

and, especially in Russian, the reduction of sounds.

In Russian, one doesn't say "ridukts-I-YA" (reduction)

but rather "ridukts"yuh"

or you don't say "Na-be-rezh-na-ya" (waterfront of a river)

but rather simply "na-b'-rezh-ney"

not "slyeh-du-shai-ya oh-stah-nov-ka" (next bus stop)

but instead "slye-d'-shayi ah-st'-nov-kuh"

This is most likely something that you Russians would never even think about,

but for me as a non-native who is learning Russian,

it is very helpful

when someone explains to me word for word how the pronunciation of these words works.

"in Russian, it's like this,

and you have to do it this way."

Working with a speech therapist isn't alway going to be in the cards for students,

especially if you live in a country other than Russia,

because Russia is a lot cheaper than, for example,

-services like this are a lot cheaper than, for example, in Germany,

or in Europe in general.

A great alternative I could recommend is just working with friends,

or with a language exchange partner.

since both a free options, which is awesome for students.

Anyways, thanks so much for watching-

If you enjoyed it,

I'd be really happy if you gave it a "thumbs up".

So did I end up getting rid of my accent in Russian?

If you speak Russian, you'll have noticed that, unfortunately, this in not yet the case.

But there's still hope!

I think my pronunciation's improved a lot since I moved to St. Petersburg about 3 1/2 months ago.

It's going to keep on getting better, too!

So,

who knows what it's going to be like in a few years? :)

So let me ask the Russian speakers, now:

What do you think is the most noticeable thing about my accent?

What should I do to lessen or improve my accent in Russian?

I look forward to find out what you guys have to say about that!

I'd be very interested to hear from anyone who's also gone to a speech therapist-

whether for speech impediments in their native language,

or perhaps even in a foreign language like I did.

How was it and did it help?

Until next time!

Bye!
