O.K. I just heard that a dead Humpback whale baby calf washed out at Blythedale Beach
Let's go and have a look!
O.K. I had to act quite quick today, I saw in the newspaper
newspaper that somebody reported
that a baby whale
a whale calf....washed out here
at Blythedale Beach, which
is about 25km north of
Ballito
You would know that I made a video recently about a whale that
washed out at Mtunzini Beach
Now this one is at Blythedale.
This is not a
You are not really suppose to see
Humpback whales this time of the year anymore
They are basically on their way
back to the poles at the moment
So why this one was here
and how long its been dead its
not clear. Its decomposing fast
But it is still fairly intact
but is been hacked by the people
into pieces, which is something that always happen
which is illegal
but it happens, so I
just jumped into my car and drove here quickly
I am not going to make a big fuzz
with this video...I hope
you enjoy it....just to get a feeling
of
of what this whale looks like...iIt is obviously
a Humpback whale, it has
these ventrical pleats
out
on the bottom, which is
expandable. I talk about it
on my other videos as well
When a...when a
the whales eat Krill, they actually
take in all the Krill
and it expands and
then they push back and push
all the water out and filter all the Krill
back
and that is how they feed. This normally happens
at the poles...They don't really feed
here when they are in our warmer waters
Obviously, this is going to
attract a lot of people, the tide is
coming in
The low tide was
early this morning
I think a
about six or seven o' clock
so the tide is coming in so
the tide might (may) take it back whic is
the preferred way
way
because you don't want it to
lay here and rot and you don't want
people are actually subjected to
very bad bacteria, they actually
are taking a huge risk
by collecting this meat. How they actually handle
is unclear
But this is just my story. If you like my video
LIKE it, SUBSCRIBE...
I am hunting all these kind of things
I am keeping track of it
as far as I can, so
if you watch my channel, if you SUBSCRIBE
to my channel, you will always bump into something
like this\
THANKS!!!!!
