So earlier this year, I went to a trade show where I met a company that makes supplies

for metal stamping jewelry. I had heard about this craft but I had never tried it myself, so

I got so excited when they walked me through how to do it.

So today, thanks to ImpressArt who were so amused by my enthusiasm that they decided

to sponsor this video, I'll be showing you how to make a metal stamped keychain and a

metal stamped charm that you could put on a necklace or a bracelet. I think that both

of these would make a really excellent gift and they're pretty quick to make as well.

One thing that I really love about these projects is that you can personalize them however you

want! ImpressArt has tons of stamps to choose from and if you buy a letter set, you can

write out any initial, word, or even phrase as long as it fits. So feel free to be creative with this

and here is how to make them!

I'm putting a list of the materials I'm using for this into the video description

below, starting off with this steel block where I'll be doing my stamping, a hammer,

and some round stamping blanks for a charm.

Using these handy hole punch pliers, cut a small hole in the blank so you'll be able

to attach the charm to a chain later.

To make this charm design, which I modeled after the stars on the corners of the pages

of the Harry Potter books here in the US, you'll need a star stamp like this one!

Place it off to the side of the circle, star side down, and hold it still while you give

the back of the stamp a good whack with the hammer. That should give you something like this!

Now, since the chapter stars have six points and this stamp only has five, I decided to

give it a messier look by turning the stamp slightly and stamping again in that same spot.

See? Now, we'll need a cluster of three of those stars, so find your next spot, stamp

it, turn the stamp a little and stamp again in that same spot, then repeat for the third

star, evenly spacing them.

That should give you something like this! To make those stars a bit easier to see, I'm

going to add some enamel to the impressions using this marker which was specifically designed

for that purpose. Lightly dab the marker onto the stars and let it dry for a few minutes

before you gently wipe it with a paper towel so just a small amount of enamel is left inside

the stars.

Then, I grabbed a dapping block and put the charm inside, then lined up the wooden punch

that came with it and gave it a few taps with the hammer. That'll make it into a rounder

shape that gives it some dimension, which I really like.

The last step for this one is to attach a jump ring by twisting one open with two pairs

of pliers and sliding the charm onto the ring. You can then attach the ring to a chain before

twisting it closed again. Here are a few of the finished star charms I made!

Next, I'm going to show you how to make a bar keychain with a phrase stamped onto

it! And of course, all of the phrases I chose were Harry Potter inspired. Because I'm me.

The bar blank I'm using is nice and sturdy so I thought it'd work well for keychains.

I'm also going to use one of these stamp guide stickers to help space out my letters

and a set of lowercase letter stamps in the font "Arcadia".

Start out by grabbing the stamps for the letters you'll need. Line up the stamp guide and

stick it as close to the edge of the blank as you can so it's straight and there's

plenty of room for your phrase. You might want to count the spaces on it to make sure

that you have one for each letter and space. One way that I got around this for a longer phrase

is by putting a word on the next side of the bar, but I'll show you that in a minute.

Now, these letter stamps have the letter punched onto the side so you know which you're using,

and on my set, I'll want that letter side facing me in order to punch the letter right

side up - double check yours to be sure. Line the stamp up in the first spot, then hit it

with the hammer.

Continue to find the next letter, make sure it's facing the right way, line it up, and

stamp. Remember to leave space between words and to place letters with a descender that

hangs below the main line just a bit lower.

If your phrase is too long to fit, like mine is, just turn to the next side, re-stick the

stamp guide, and continue to stamp the rest of the letters there. That way, when you're

done, you can read the whole thing by turning it.

I added a few little star stamps to the blank spots on the bar, then I filled in the letters

with enamel to make them easier to read. Like before, give them a few minutes to dry, then

wipe off the excess enamel.

All that's left is to add a keyring! I am terrible at opening these, so I used some

pliers to hold them open and attached the bar by lining up the hole and turning the

ring until it's totally attached. And there you have it! A cute keychain that you can

personalize to say anything you want, as long as it fits.

I hope that this tutorial helps you to start thinking about ways that you can use metal

stamping to make thoughtfully handmade custom gifts for your loved ones! These designs I

came up with are really just the beginning - there's so much out there that you can

do with this medium and I can't wait to see what you come up with.

I've personally already made a few of the metal stamped necklaces for my family - you

can put their initials or a date or a symbol that's meaningful to them, and it's pretty

Snakebelly - Lower Abdominal Recruitment Exercise - Duration: 3:25.

Welcome back to Foundation's YouTube channel.

My name is Christian Compean I'm a physical therapist fellowship trained in orthopedic

manual therapy.

Today, we're going to go over something called snake belly.

Its also a lower abdominal recruitment exercise or a core activation exercise.

Theres a lot of different ways that it gets termed.

Basically its teaching you to properly recruit and fire your transversus abdominis.

Your transversus abodminis is kind of your built in weight lifting belt.

It s the muscle you should turn on before any kind of lift whether it be a heavy load

of clothes or a deadlift, it should be the muscle that keeps your spine in check while

performing a kind of athletic movement.

Unfortunately a lot of people skip this muscle and go on to firing their beach muscles, the

six pack ab type things.

What you really need is the deeper guys so I'm going to show you how to turn that on

today and how to get it firing.

All you need is flat surface, you can do this on the floor for sure so what your going to

do is your going to first lay on your stomach and then I would usually stack my hands and

place my forehead on them.

What I'm going to try to do from here is I'm going to imagine like a small snake

slithering by and its going to try to make its way underneath my abdominals and what

I need to do is tighten those abdominals and then draw my belly button towards my spine

to create a little bit of a hollow.

I want to make sure that when I do this I'm not pushing my knees in, my butt didn't

fly up in the air.

I shouldn't feel like I'm really squeezing my glutes and tucking my tail.

Its all just coming from the lower abdominals.

So then what I'm going to do again is just tighten the abdominals, pull my belly button

in towards my spine.

And then as I do and I try to take a couple of breaths here.

And learn how to breathe while still holding in my abdominals, which is a little bit more

difficult than you might think at first.

But thats definitely the way you want to train this rather than holding for an arbitrary

time is try to do one, two maybe three breaths with every repetition and then relax and repeat.

You should feel the muscles firing kind of right in front of your hip bones here or right

between your hip bones and thats your transverses abdomimus so this is an exercise that I kind

of recommend for anybody.

It doesn't matter how high level you are or how low level you are if you can master

this it's going to improve anything you're participating in.

Thats it.

Thats a snake belly exercise or lower abdominal recruitment exercise, or a transversus abdominus

recruitment activity all of those things are synonymous in this scenario.

So try it out and I hope it helps.

you're obsessed you know what you want you take a massive action maybe you

modeled somebody figure out the right action so you get there quicker and

you're executing you still need a little grace some people call it luck they

call God but I really believe that there's the part we do and then there's

the part that comes to us but I do know grace shows up a lot more when you do

the first two steps on your own and grace shows up a lot more when you

acknowledge grace in your life we acknowledge them I was born in a world

where I didn't have to build this Internet that I can pull out of my

pocket the answer anything on earth I'm driving on streets

I didn't pay if I'm reading books I didn't have to write that's the gift of

our lives and I think when we experience that grace we don't just experienced

more achievement but we start to diminish what for fun it really

determines the quality of your life because unless you live in a state of

gratitude yeah I did an interview with Sir John Templeton unless we know is one

of the first billionaire investors and just a brilliant man he came from

nothing and he dontated 750 they still do it the Templeton fund I

think it's seven or fifty million dollars a year it's bigger than a Nobel

Fund but he donates and one day asked him I said what is the secret to wealth

they love to be paused this big smile his eyes got really bright like they

always did and he said Tony it's what you teach I said well I teach a lot of

things you know it's thing he said gratitude he said because you and I

know billionaires that are miserable that's because they're not grateful for

what they have and we hope no people have no money seemingly but they're so

grateful for their health for their husbands their wife their children

they're so grateful to god they're so grateful for their life that they're rich

you know so I think I think it starts with that gratitude it starts with that

connection to grace is simplistic if that sounds and so it's not enough just

to have your financial plan you have all the money and be miserable

let's have the money and be really rich emotionally psychologically exposure

I break it down so I'm like look what makes you didn't from that person

standing beside you it's exciting insane it was like so I

give it vice as they come to me so I'm like put it on records cuz that's how

the world's gonna hear the world not gonna beat you pop appellate like are

you at a but they think it's you though that you don't sound like you but you're

the connection that gets them to where they're going is level right right right

right do you know that right right and I just tell people that I don't gotta tell

you what the levels off there's that holes Ryan you know what it is it took

us a long time to get we didn't come here overnight we had to go through

levels of agony know what did he hit me boy we had to go then people don't

realize that is he letting cut the line out is that we're not exactly what you

have to day at today's market right I know and it's crazy I'm like no you have

to crawl before you want I do is that everything you see is what I'm living

you know my wife always says if you want to achieve something you have to believe

it you need to believe it to achieve and Steve would believe something so

passionate that and it was how could I

say was educated it was educated it wasn't just this you

know just throw caution to the wind but he was educated that we could do

something and that ability to get people convinced that

this was the right way to go that was yes scary and and it's so unconventional

but this is the right thing that's what made these discoveries happen these

inventions happen because we all work together he didn't come up with all the

interviews but he pushed us all to come together with the best ideas possible

and sort and sift and put them together to make the best point and you do have

to distort reality if you want to change the reality we're living it and people

are like they're so locked into the everyday that they forget there could be

a whole nother thing that they're not seeing over here and his job was to push

him to see these other things he saw before we did and he would push us to

those those unknown areas and go yes it's scary

yes it's risky but we're gonna go out and we're gonna make it happen and that

is as much of the skill and as important to Steve as any of his other traits maybe

the most for the past 33 years I've looked in the mirror every morning and

asked myself if today were the last day of my life what I want to do what I am

about to do today and whenever the answer has been no for

too many days in a row I know I need to change something remembering that all be

dead soon is the most important tool I've ever encountered to help me make

the big choices in life because almost everything all external expectations all

pride all fear of embarrassment or failure these things just fall away in

the face of death leaving only what is truly important remembering that you are

going to die is the best way I know to avoid the trap of thinking you have

something to lose you are already naked there is no reason not to follow your

heart about a year ago I was diagnosed with cancer

I had a scan at 7:30 in the morning and it clearly showed a tumor on my pancreas

I didn't even know what a pancreas was the doctors told me this was almost

certainly a type of cancer that is incurable and that I should expect to

live no longer than three to six months my doctor advised me to go home and get

my affairs in order which is doctors code for prepare to die

it means to try and tell your kids everything you thought you'd have the

next 10 years to tell them in just a few months it means to make sure everything

is buttoned up so that it will be as easy as possible for your baby it means

to say your goodbyes

If there's one thing we learned about the presidential election last year, it's that

liberals will do whatever it takes to win.

We constantly heard incidents of voter fraud taking place, where Hillary's minions were

voting multiple times, and buses of people were being be transported into key swing state

counties in order to throw the vote.

Last night Doug Jones defeated Republican Roy Moore in the Alabama Senate race, where

liberals are disgustingly throwing the win back in our faces this morning, calling the

victory a "stinging snub" to President Trump.

But unfortunately for liberals, Jones' win is being immediately overshadowed by the shady

tactics the used to "win," after several disturbing reports are surfacing about what

was really going on at the polls last night.

Fake Narrative About "Voter Suppression"

It was widely predicted that blacks in Alabama would determine the outcome of the race.

When the liberal media began to realize that it would be an incredibly tight race, where

we saw Moore and Jones separated by less than 1% for several hours, liberals immediately

began to push the false narrative that blacks were being blocked from the polling places.

One of the trending stories was from fake liberal website "Verified Politics" was

a viral story called "Something Incredibly Shady Is Happening In Alabama Right Now"

where they made the ridiculous claim that blacks were being prevented from voting.

In the article, the website asserted that "white supremacy" was preventing black

citizens from being able to take to the polls, that no doubt got the black populace fired

up just in time to go cast their votes for Jones before the race ended.

Here's a short excerpt of their ridiculous story, where they claimed that "white supremacists"

were requiring "poor blacks" from being able to vote because they were required to

show an ID.

"Alabama has a long history of suppressing the votes dating back at least to 1901 when

the state passed a new constitution whose main purpose was to deny African Americans

the right to vote," they whined.

"In 2011, the Republican-controlled state legislature passed a law that all voters must

have a photo ID, which immediately disenfranchised many rural and poor Blacks."

Liberals' ARMY Of Felons

Liberals frequently use the backing of criminals to bolster their agenda which is why they

fight so hard to keep Muslim immigrants and Mexican illegals in our country.

The Alabama Senate race was no different, as Breitbart exposed how George Soros and

infamous race-baiter Al Sharpton had their grubby talons all over this race right from

the beginning, where the duo registered an "army" of convicted felons across Alabama

to help bolster support for Jones.

"An organization partnered with a George Soros-financed group and led by a radical

leftist who is the half-brother of the infamous controversial Rev. Al Sharpton has been diligently

working over the past few weeks to register convicted felons across Alabama," Breitbart

began.

They went on:

"The aim of the effort has been to get as many felons as possible on the roster before

last Monday, the deadline to register in order to vote in Alabama's Dec. 12 senate special

election that pits Republican Roy Moore against Democratic challenger Doug Jones.

The man spearheading the campaign has stated outright that his effort is meant to ensure

a Democratic victory in Alabama."

"The thousands of felons reportedly newly registered over the past few weeks were most

likely not included in any recent polling on the Alabama senate race put out by major

firms."

"Jones himself is tied to some of the specific organizations associated with the drive to

register felons here.

Indeed, as Breitbart News first reported, Jones spearheaded a project for a massively

Soros-financed legal activist group demanding full voting rights be given to felons released

from prison, including those convicted of murder, rape and other violent crimes."

Dark Money From Very Questionable Sources

Whenever you smell a rat, chances are George Soros is somewhere nearby lurking about.

The infamous evil billionaire, who turned his own neighbors into the Nazis in the 1940's,

is constantly gunning for the destruction of America, where he's a huge donor of crooked

politicians like Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, and RINO Republicans like John McCain.

So it should come as no surprise that Soros yet again was a the helm causing chaos and

trying to throw the election in Alabama.

Liberals Behind The Character Assassination Of Roy Moore

For weeks, there was an ongoing barrage of accusations made about Roy Moore, where he

was even accused of pedophilia and going after several underage girls.

One of Moore's accusers was Beverly Young Nelson, the ex-waitress who charged that Moore

groped her when she was 16 and he was in his 30s, and used her high school yearbook bearing

Moore's signature as "proof" that she knew him.

Even though Nelson would be busted for plagiarizing the yearbook entry, liberals still used the

woman's false testimony as a way to push the narrative that Moore was a "sexual predator."

There still has yet to be any evidence against Moore except the testimonies of these women,

who conveniently crawled out of the woodwork to share their stories right before the race.

It was even discovered that George Soros was behind the hit research of Moore, and was

encouraging these women to speak out against the Republican judge.

It's pretty disturbing how liberals will not stop in their conquest to destroy this

country with their shady and illegal antics, and yesterday was a enormous hit to the Republican

Party.

Jones' victory will have significant consequences for Republicans on the national level, where

Democrats are now working towards capturing the last Senate seat up for grabs next year

in order to gain the majority in the Senate.
