Ed Sheeran & Beyonce's "Perfect" Lyrics Make The Song Even More Romantic

Though the freshly released duet mostly stays true to the original, Ed Sheeran and Beyoncés Perfect lyrics do make some subtle, but still notable, tweaks.

The concept is the same — a romantic, laudatory ode to a significant other — but with a few altered pronouns.

Where Sheeran used to sing, Well I found a woman, stronger than anyone I know, Beyoncé swaps in man, and Be my girl, Ill be your man has been changed to say Be your girl, youll be my man. Sheerans verses stay intact, and the closing stanzas that the two belt out together dont have any gender-specific mentions, so those also stay the same.

Its a small shift, but it has a sizable impact, as it makes the song play more like a call-and-response.

Instead of Sheeran simply serenading a woman, it now sounds like two people expressing their mutual love for one another, which drives home the sentimental message at its core.

(The choral inflections that back Beyoncés vocals also give it a more soulful feel). Take, for example, the chorus:. Baby, Im dancing in the dark with you between my arms. Barefoot on the grass, listening to our favorite song.

When you said you looked a mess, I whispered underneath my breath. But you heard it, darling, you look perfect tonight.

Before, Sheerans words came across like a confessional diary entry, but now they seem tangible, direct, like hes performing for his partner in real time. And even more so when Beyoncé chimes in:.

Well I found a man, stronger than anyone I know. He shares my dreams, I hope that someday Ill share his home. I found a love, to carry more than just my secrets. To carry love, to carry children of our own.

Perfect itself certainly isnt old — it comes from Sheerans March album, Divide — but the remix breathes new life into the standout single.

While detailing the collaboration during a recent interview with Channel 4 Radio, Sheeran even said he was basically going to Despacito the song, referencing Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankees breakout reggaeton-pop hybrid with Justin Bieber.

Like Perfect, which spent 26 weeks on the Billboard Hot 100 and peaked at No. 3, Despacito was plenty successful on its own.

When it was first unveiled in January, it debuted at No. 2 on the Hot Latin Songs chart, landing Fonsi his biggest debut ever and his highest charting single since 2009.

But when the remix with Bieber was released in April, it launched into a cultural phenomenon. It sat atop the Hot 100 for 16 consecutive weeks, earning both Fonsi and Yankees first No.

1 on the chart and tying with One Sweet Day by Mariah Carey and Boyz II Men as the longest-reigning No. 1 single in the Hot 100s history.

The music video for Despacito has since become the most watched YouTube video of all time with more than 3 billion views, and together, the two versions of the track have earned "Despacito" title as the "most streamed song in history." Nearly a year after its initial release, Despacito is still inescapable.

I know well be alright this time. Her reply further roots the song in the present, as if two lovers have sprung into spontaneous song about how deeply they care for each other, musical style.

Sheeran, it seems, hopes the same will apply to Perfect, and with Beyoncé, he definitely aimed high. Its worth noting that Perfect marks the Lemonadepowerhouses third collaboration in as many months.

She appeared on a remix for Mi Gente, from Colombian singer J Balvin and French singer-producer Willy William, in September, then joined Eminem on his emotional new ballad, Walk On Water, earlier this month.

Both tracks have been charting well, but that shouldnt mean too much competition for Perfect.

Beyoncé and Sheeran are some of musics most sought after talents, each with fervent fan bases of their own, and it seems inevitable that their duet will hit big (judging by the social media reactions rolling in, it already has.

) The altered lyrics are a nice addition, but the collaboration would have been big with or without them.

the inside so here you've got this this would almost be some type of maybe a

periscope or something so you could have your diver stand here and just move that

thing around to see what's outside here is where your shark cage would go back

once it's returned okay okay so let's go ahead and check out this big Animal

Planet underwater lab we're gonna start here

this thing on top it has like a grabbing arm and it has like a screwdriver bit on

that side but it does make noise let's listen to some of the Psalms that it

does if you push this button and it has lights also

okay and then let's go ahead and check out some of the other options on the lab

so we're gonna go ahead and start here with do Shark doors if you open the

shark door here you see there's a tank inside which you could put your diver in

and when your diver is ready to go you'll have like a handle like pull the

whole cage out of there your diver is inside the cage you could

go ahead and free him the diver comes with a bunch of accessories he's got

like a knife and some type of like I don't know what this is to grab fish

maybe to shock them he's got flippers she's got a mask scuba tank and then he

also comes with flashlights binoculars camera another flashlight this looks

like some dynamite or something okay so anyways ah once that pop dot you

could put this on as a top also actually no you know what that top does go on

here so you would put the cage sir you'd put the cage in there and then you'd put

this on top of the cage I believe so yeah maybe not okay so maybe you once

the cages out then you go ahead and you put that in there and then this also

does flip open me and I don't know there's not much room there to pour much

of anything so we're gonna go ahead finish taking a look at the outside then

we will go inside so this you have a big clear window here you can see there's

some type of instrument panel behind here here you got opening the door

opening doors so you could open the door here you can put your diver in here

which now he does fit even with all his accessories and then you just simply go

ahead turn the door and your diver is in the lab the lab is sealed off from the

outside and then here you've got like a salt blade and a drill blade on this one

here then you've got big like bubbles to like go that you could look out from

inside the cage you got this thing here that opens up you got like a platform

here that your diver could stand on so it just simply fits back in there there

is where your diver will come in from the outside it will turn let the diver

end and pump the water back out here you've got like a computer platform here

and then you have an extra computer here which you could set up maybe in front of

that or off to the side just simply wherever you want oh you know I bet you

this thing goes in so then once you get that in there got

nice graphics up there and ah let me show you what else is here and then the

whole playset does close up so you got a couple fish these Animal Planet's are

great sets are great because they have so many stuff but they are kind of

fragile so I mean I probably wouldn't recommend it to any kids that are too

young I believe they say at least 5 years old

on the package which you know I probably would follow those recommendations and

then this set simply goes ahead locks together and you could go ahead and keep

everything inside so it doesn't get lost and carry it around with you so it

doesn't really have a carrying handle but you have a little flap here which

you can use to fold it so it is a cool set I mean I do like the lights and

sounds and everything and then on top of that it does come with the two fish I

showed you earlier and an orca so a killer whale this set does have a

nice big killer whale I did have this same killer whale in a submarine set

from Animal Planet so if you go ahead I'll wait till the video ends I got an

Animal Planet playlist there ah there's a cool submarine too which actually I

think I like the submarine this so it was pretty cool and then our

big teeth big tongue on this guy the action feature here you pull the pin it

does open and close this mouth very cool texture you can see like all the

different areas where it was injured so this is definitely battle scars or

something so this guy has been around okay so that is the full set guys so it

is a cool fun set it would have been nice if they would have included two

characters with the set and other than that maybe a shark or something would be

kind of cool because it does include a shark cage so I mean maybe the shark

cage is to protect you from the killer whale okay Wow cool set guys

in the emergence of communities in general.

and our community as well

You get inspiration from the outside

be it through the media or you meet someone

or people from outside move to Vienna

with new ideas in their pockets.

2007 was a very crucial year

where things set in motion

2007, the first Bicycle Film Festival (BFF) in Vienna

We discovered the Bicycle Film Festival at first on the internet

and we wanted that too

This was the big moment of inspiration to us

In autumn of 2007, at the Top Kino

we organized the first Bicycle Film Festival Vienna

a large group of people organized this together

We had the Cinema exclusively

We organized TALL BIKE JOUSTINGS on the street in front

we planed ALLEYCATs

we had parties

for a lot of people who saw these things for the first time there,

for them it was the same experience like we had in Milano [BFF 2006]

awesome, that's the way it should be, we want that

From my point of view, the people who met there

they were creative anyway

they all wanted something similar

but they also had this input from all the movies they saw

The Networking, and the enthusiasm of people created new ideas

and later on this ideas became reality

Pure energy was there

One heard that someone from the EKH organized a Critical Mass

They gathered and cycled the streets of Vienna

I was immediately

Hooked

because I thought, that's something that motivates people

I heard the first time about Critical Mass

through different political connections

As with so much

we with heavy pedals were also not the first to sell cargo bikes in Austria

Same with the Critical Mass.

In the late 80s beginning 90s

there was the "Radfahren am Freitag", short RAF

They also had this monthly gatherings

organized smaller and bigger demonstrations

Critical Mass

The original idea was to reach the point of critical mass

to reclaim the space, normally occupied by cars

The Critical Mass would not exist today

if not the people in the beginning invested a lot

We've had police checks

They closed all access roads to the meeting point

stopped every cyclist

checked the bicycle safety

handed out penalties and written police reports

If we had not intervened

build up pressure

and started the conversation with the police

this would have been history before it even began

Without,

Without, civil disobedience, nothing changes

Someone said to me, tomorrow is a Critical Mass

I asked -

Critical Mass what is that?

Its just cycling, cycling with lots of people

that´s why it´s awesome

and reclaiming spaces normally occupied by cars

I got to experience the city of Vienna

without cars

It was, very impressive

The spirit

collectively taking over the space

being on the street and just cycle

There were so many people

I just met in one day

Although they are all different kind cyclists

Sporty cyclists, daily commuters

Bike messengers

So many different people

But at a Critical Mass they find together for 1-2 hours

and cycle together

Meeting new people created for me

and i guess also for others

this feeling, where we noticed, together we can be bigger

together we can achieve more

This collective experience

kicked something in motion

that would otherwise would not have existed

The Critical Mass as network was important

but as important are spaces like the Bike Kitchen

At the Bicycle Film Festival 2007 got talked, for the first time, about Bike Kitchens

maybe inspired by a film

The concept of Bike Kitchens as a open community workshop

with the benefit of creating a home for an entire community

We could still repair it, right ?

- Yeah, we could.

Just weld

or buy another one. It doesn´t cost the earth

No, no, hold on ! That´s not the issue!

If we´re gonna do it, then we do it properly.

There was lot going on in the beginning

a lot of knowledge sharing and learning

Learning as a collective was an very important aspect

An aspect of empowerment

The Bike Kitchen was and still is so much more than a regular workshop

It is a place where you meet

where we spend time together

where of course bikes are still important

but also the anti-capitalist approach

The enthusiasm for bikes

together with the idea to give bikes more space

creates a foundation for people who are creative

and are driven by the will to make a difference

Out of this emerges energy and the different ideas

and this ideas, because we where many, interconnect

One thing led to another

and than there is something that was not there before

Jon Stewart Returns to 'Daily Show'. Is He Taking the Show Back From Trevor Noah?

The real reason Stewart stopped by the show on Monday night was to express his concern

about the James Zadroga 9/11 Health and Compensation Act which is yet to be extended.

For the first time since leaving his post on "The Daily Show", Jon Stewart was back

on the show Monday night, December 7. While his surprise appearance was welcome with thunderous

applause from the audience, current host Trevor Noah appeared to not recognize him at first.

"I am sorry, Sir, are you lost?" Noah asked, before realizing that it's his predecessor

Stewart. His excitement to have Stewart back, however, didn't last long as he asked, "Oh,

wait, wait, wait, s**t. Are you here to take the show back?"

After assuring Noah that he's not there to take the show back, Stewart said, "I have

this issue I care about very deeply and I was wondering-I want to get attention paid

to it but I was realizing I don't have a show, and nobody gives a s**t anymore. So I thought,

you have a show, and maybe I could come and..."

Once Noah allowed Stewart to use the show as a platform to support a cause he cares

about, Stewart explained the issue, which is about the James Zadroga 9/11 Health and

Compensation Act which expired in September and is yet to be extended.

"Of course there was no reason not to renew it permanently, but they did not renew it

anyway!" Stewart said of the Zadroga Act, which aimed to help provide health care programs

for 9/11 first responders. "It expired in September. Soon to be out of money, these

first responders-many sick with cancers and pulmonary disease-had to travel at their expense

to Washington, D.C., hundreds of times to plead for our government to do the right thing."

Stewart later conducted an interview with first responder Kenny Specht, who pointed

out that 75 percent of the panel who appeared on the show five-and-a-half years ago "are

no longer here."

Following Stewart's return to "Daily Show" in attempt to get this program passed as a

permanent Act, the hashtag #WorstResponders has become a trending topic on Twitter.

Starting off with the smaller Galaxy S9, you will undoubtedly notice that while it sports

a similar overall design to the S8, there are some notable changes.

Chief among those is the vertical strip on the back which houses the camera and the fingerprint

scanner.

The latter now looks to be in a much less awkward position than it was for this year's

models, alleviating one of the main downsides to those.

Of note is also the fact that the S9 will only have one rear camera, as Samsung seems

to be playing an Apple-like differentiating game between its two top of the line models

for early 2018.

The curved screen is still in, and the top and bottom bezels seem to be around the same

size as they were in the S8 (though the bottom one does look ever so slightly smaller, 0.1mm

according to the source of these renders).

The previously rumored inexistent bottom bezel didn't make the cut after all.

For both devices, the 'glass sandwich' construction continues - with a metal frame and glass used

on the back as well as the front.

The rear sheet curves into the frame almost as much as the display does.

Iris scanning tech will be built into both S9s, and the Bixby button is here to stay

- as is the 3.5mm headset jack, thankfully.

The Galaxy S9 is said to measure 147.6 x 68.7 x 8.4mm.

That makes it 1.3mm shorter, 0.6mm wider, and 0.4mm thicker than its predecessor.

The S9+'s dimensions are 157.7 x 73.8 x 8.5mm, so it's going to be 1.8mm shorter, 0.4mm wider,

and 0.4mm thicker than the S8+.

The bigger model for 2018 has cut both the top and bottom bezels by 0.1mm compared to

its predecessor.

The two upcoming handsets may or may not be showcased at CES next month ahead of a proper

unveiling in March.

In the US they should be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 845 chipset, while the rest of

the world will receive them with a new Exynos SoC.

This leak has stayed mum on screen sizes, but past mumblings talked about them remaining

the same as they were for the S8 duo.

motor which puts out just shy of 200 horsepower which isn't bad but in other

parts of the world it comes with the b18c motor which I believe is out of the

integra type-r now depending on who you ask would you rather have the vvt-i or

the VTEC I mean having a Honda engine does sound pretty hot

right now you know right right yeah but dude this is really quick by us Jason

if you thought it would be comparable to an s2000

was lower than s mm but a you you having voted as 2001 writing right I had the

ap1 in 2001 Honda s2000 and it's it's it's comparable with the s2000 it's not

slow at least hippie cars only 2,000 pounds I

mean I think it's less than and around the track it's gonna be even quicker

this is the perfect track car you know it's really reliable with the tail

see sounds really cool it sounds great it sounds really really good but I think

that's what's also cool about like mid-engine cars is the engines right

behind your head that already like really hopes right you

get the full driving edit that out

I would choose this over an s2000 even if it was a hair slower I'm a fan of

like a little more underpowered right and arms and never lived and never lived

that mirrors useless it's worse than a counter door nice car

this is definitely not something though that I would drive like two hours to the

track and drive all day in and then drive home that would be tough to do I

would have to trailer this but at least there's air conditioning there's nowhere

to put tools but the idea is this car doesn't break down its reliable it's not

a 240 so you can just show up consoles just bring like a screwdriver

screwdriver right and like a small cooler with water and you know by then

you're good to go right

this is terrible absolutely terrible

Mikey yeah it's yeah it's fun and it's probably just as quick as an s2000 but

it has the race car experience feeling so it feels not much faster also it's

uncomfortable cause it's very uncomfortable but it's nice and loud

people like that do you like that around the racetrack it's fun around the city

not so much so it turns out that the Lotus Elise is a pretty fun car to have

Did I Stick To My 2017 New Year's Resolutions? The Moment of Truth! | Kate's Adventures - Duration: 8:45.

Hi everyone! It is December 2017.

I can't believe it, it feels like this year has flown by

and I think it's about time for me to look back at my 2017 New Year's resolutions

and see if I've managed to stick to them. I haven't really remembered what they were

so chances are I haven't stuck to them but maybe, maybe I have

maybe we'll be pleasantly surprised. So I'm going to watch this video

and let you know how I've done this year. Here goes.

2016 is almost finished and that seems so crazy to me

because it feels like yesterday I was sitting down and talking about the things that I'd like to do in 2016.

So now it's time to make that same video for 2017, so here goes.

Here are the things that I would like to do in 2017.

I can't believe I've pretty much given this video the same intro as the video that I've just started filming now.

I don't mean to be repetitive, I haven't particularly scripted all these videos so they sound the same

but it's just a thought I seem to have at this time of year,

that the year has flown by and it seems like yesterday I was starting these resolutions.

The first thing I would like to do in 2017 is stop moaning about petty things.

"Stop moaning about petty things". I've probably moansed less about petty things this year.

I don't particularly measure it but considering I just moaned that my intro for this video

was pretty much the same as last year's, I'd say that's still moaning about petty things, so I'm not perfect!

Now this would be stop moaning altogether but I feel like moaning is therapeutic sometimes,

it can really help solve a problem but sometimes I find myself moaning about the most trivial things

and I think it's just because I'm bored. And deep down I know that I'm very lucky

and I'm very grateful for everything that I have so I should start verbalizing that

and verbalizing how grateful I am for things instead of sounding unappreciative.

I think what I'm trying to communicate here

is that sometimes I use moaning as an icebreaker in conversation.

If I'm speaking to somebody I've never spoken to before and it's really cold or the line we're in is incredibly long

then sometimes I would be like "Can you believe this? This has been going on forever"

and I don't think that's a really good first impression instead of saying something nice or being helpful.

I just don't think it's that good so hopefully I'm going to moan less in 2018

and hopefully I mooned less than 2017 than I did in 2016 because Past Kate is right, I am incredibly lucky

and I should probably say that more.

Obviously not in a bragging way but I should be more appreciative of things.

In 2017 I'd also like to watch 25 movies that I've never seen before.

Whenever I come to watch a movie I tend to pick my favorites,

but maybe it's time for me to find some new favorites.

There's so many movies out there that I've never seen before

and maybe if I just watched them I'd find that I like them very much

so I'm setting myself the goal of finding 25 new movies for me to watch and let's see how that goes.

I have watched 25 movies this year, I've been keeping a list of all the ones that I've seen

and they vary from brand new ones like I saw "Murder on the Orient Express" the other day

to much older ones that I've just never gotten around to so I'm glad that I did manage to stick to that goal.

it was something that I sometimes proactively looked towards

like in about September I'd only watched 18 and I was like "Oh my god, I need to find more movies to watch!"

so I think it's really changed my viewing habits and things and I really enjoyed them

and maybe I'll make a video about my thoughts on the movies that I did watch this year.

My next goal for 2017 is something that sounds quite simple but I think it's quite a challenge

and I think it's something that everybody has to work on on some level and that's "be nice to everybody".

Now that sounds quite simple when I'm in a good mood

but I want to be more conscious of how I make people feel when I'm in a bad mood

cause sometimes I snap, sometimes I'm grumpy, you know everybody has those moments.

And being grumpy can be infectious if you answer in the wrong way to somebody

and I don't wanna pass that on, I want the world to be happy so that's just something I'd like to do

I don't want to be that person that makes somebody feel horrible.

I think that's a really good goal, I'm going to carry that one into 2018 as well

and just through the rest of my life because it's horrible making somebody feel horrible as well.

And maybe you don't always realize that you've made somebody feel horrible

but yeah, I'm gonna carry that one on. I don't really know how I've done this year with that

but it's still going to be something that I'd like to carry on

even if I can't properly measure it for these end of year of reviews!

I'd also like to make 12 videos that help.

I didn't do this, I'm gonna put my hands up right now. I did not make 12 videos that help.

I completely forgot about this. Yeah, sorry about that!

I don't know if I'll carry that on into 2018

because I feel like my channel's more about adventures and my own personal stories and things

so maybe 12 videos that help wouldn't really suit this channel, I'm not really too sure.

If I ever find a way to make a video that will help then I will do

but I'm not going to make a tutorial just because I want to make a video that helps.

I want to make a video that helps but is also fitting on here

and that people are going to enjoy if that makes any sense.

And the final thing I would like to do in 2017 is something that I'm always trying to do

and that's visit a place that I've never been to before.

And that could be like a foreign country or a city

or it could even just be somewhere near my house that I've never visited before.

The possibilities are endless this is a big world and I feel like I want to experience as much as possible.

I did go to a couple of places I've never been to before in 2017.

Firstly I went to the countryside and there were sheep running free, there were little villages.

It was such an amazing place to be, it felt like I was on another planet

compared to like the towns and cities that I'm used to here.

Everything was so small, it was so relaxing.

We had to walk to the next village to get to the village shop and it was so refreshing, I absolutely loved it.

And then right after that I went to Anaheim in Los Angeles

which was like the total opposite of the place I'd just been.

So there was a bit of culture shock going from a tiny little village to Los Angeles

but all the same that was really fun as well. It was really great to see Los Angeles, Orange County.

It was really nice out there and I think I'm going to carry over that goal

of going to a place I've never been to before into 2018

because I feel like that's a life goal as opposed to even just a year goal.

I don't actually know where I'm going to be going next year.

I don't really have any plans at the moment of where I'm going to go

and I hope that I am at least going to go to at least one place as I've never been to before

and I also hope to at least go to one YouTube convention

because I have so many friends that I'd love to see again

so I don't know again which convention I'd go to but hopefully I'll be able to visit a convention again in 2018.

So those where my 2017 goals. I suppose there's mixed results there,

some of them I've done really well at, other ones not so much

and they're pretty much gonna be the same for 2018 so fingers crossed for me folks.

Charles Krauthammer Calls For The Arrest Of Barack Obama !!!

One of most respected conservative thinkers and political commentators is Charles Krauthammer.

Look what he has to say about Iran ransom scandal!

In 2008, a young, fresh-faced African American junior senator promised the American public

that if he was elected President of the United States, he would have the most "transparent

administration in history."

Well, he has failed miserably on that promise, and noted TV pundit Charles Krauthammer just

provided another recent example.

Speaking about the $400 million payment to Iran in exchange for the released prisoners,

Krauthammer said: "They had to print the money here, ship it over to Switzerland, turn

it into Swiss Francs and Euros, and then ship it over to Iran."

For those of you with a legal background, does this process look familiar to you?

If not, then let me fill you in with a little help from Krauthammer's further comments

on the issue:

"If a private company had done this, this is called money laundering.

The CEO would be in jail right now."

Krauthammer was reacting to a Wall Street Journal report saying that the Justice Department

objected to the State Department's decision to do this.

"Of course, the Justice Department objected," Krauthammer said.

"It was illegal."

Something is very fishy regarding this deal, and it isn't just Krauthammer who feels

this way either.

Forbes details the process where the money was first electronically transferred to Europe

in February, converted to Francs, and then clandestinely shipped via aircraft to Iran.

Just one day after that, four Americans were released from Iranian prisons.

While the mullahs and military leaders in Iran are calling this money exactly what it

is—a ransom—Obama is claiming something different:

He says the $400 million payment was part of a $1.7 billion negotiated settlement from

an aborted arms deal in 1979.

Finally, many are beginning to compare this to Iran-Contra, which almost derailed Ronald

Reagan's administration.

However, for an administration that has continued to devalue the American public, such as Obama's,

this is just another day at the office.
