Youtube daily report Jan 19 2018

hello everyone

I'm back today with my 2018 bullet journal setup video

I'm so sorry this video is late but I do hope you guys enjoy it.

so right here I'll be showing you all the materials I'll be using in this video.

everything will be linked down below as usual

my journal this year is a navy blue color

I'm gonna be using some stickers from red bubble to decorate it

I decided to use this one that says adventure is calling and I must go.

I really like these stickers because they are removable so I can change them

whenever I want.

so on the inside cover I'm just making a little key it's really simple nothing special.

I sometimes also forget to refer back to my key so I'm gonna try to stick with it this year.

on the very first page I'm including a little quote that

says "be fearless in the pursuit of what sets you on fire."

I just thought it'd be nice to start off with all inspiration

the second page is a year in pixels of spread.

this was pretty popular this year because I've seen a lot around YouTube and Instagram

however it was pretty tedious to draw because there were so many lines and numbers

but I definitely am happy with how it came out.

On a side note have you guys noticed any differences?

I finally invested in a mic so I hope you guys noticed the sound difference in quality.

I was using my earbuds before and the quality wasn't that great

and a lot of you guys couldn't hear me well so I hope you guys like this.

the next page is my 2018 calendar spread

I start to make a few minor mistakes in this page

and then some major ones later so I hope you guys understand

I definitely recommend that you go in with a pencil beforehand if you have time and

don't make silly mistakes like I did.

the stickers I'm using in the spread are from my shop paperkumaco

if you are interested I do have a small coupon code in the description box below

if you want to check it out

the next spread that I'm working on is a vertical columns future log.

as you can tell I'm trying to keep it really simple for this bullet journal

I do love decorating with washi and

photos and stickers but sometimes I do feel like I go a little bit overboard

it does make it very personal but it does also take up a lot of time

my main problem with the bullet journal system

is that it takes so much time to commit to it

however I do like being able to personalize different things and I feel

like it's useful for many different reasons

however this will be a very busy year for me

and so I don't know if I can commit to sitting there and taking hours

every week just to decorate my journal

therefore I'm trying to stick with

something very simple this year and see how that works for me

I'll definitely update you guys at the end of the month

to see how the first month went for me

so right here you'll notice two black columns

so what I did was I went in and for some reason when I flipped the page

I started filling in the numbers entirely wrong so I tried to black out

the columns and right over with a white pen but my white pen wasn't showing up

so I just decided that I'm just gonna go with the black column I just felt like

having it look uniform was better off than just having two solo black columns

anyways that's it for my silly mistakes and we're moving on to the next

spread which is going to be my 2018 goals I don't show you guys what I write

down for my goals because a few of them are a bit personal but one of my goals is

to definitely upload more content to my YouTube channel as well as improving the

quality of my content for example with this mic and then also with my video

quality itself I'm also filming at a different location

you guys can't really tell from this video but I did get a new desk so I'm

working on decorating my workspace and I'll have a tour of that maybe next

month or so

and this is my last spread which is my dramas watchlist tracker I do watch a

lot of Korean dramas so I wanted to note down which ones I'm going to watch in

2018 the very last step is just to go back in with some stickers I wanted to

keep it simple but I didn't want it to be too plain so I decided to add in some

stickers at the very end and that is it for my 2018 bullet journal setup video I

hope you guys enjoyed it as usual if you have any video requests comments

question concerns leave them down in the comments below

if you want to check out my latest video the link is right here it's a haul from

the Kakao store if not I'll be back with another video next week bye

Is ̶M̶a̶r̶t̶h̶ R̶ø̶y̶ Ike In This Game? Fire Emblem Series History and Amiibo functionality - Duration: 25:09.

(Swoosh)

(Sword slash)

(Intro jingle)

If you've ever picked up a Super Smash Brothers game and thought to yourself, "Hey, this Marth

guy is pretty cool, I wonder what his games are like"

Or when taking a look at the Fire Emblem series for the first time you've ever asked the question,

"Is ____ in this game?"

Then this video is definitely for you.

Stevie here with Lucky Crit and today for those of you familiar with the Fire Emblem franchise,

who know all the protagonists throughout the series and who already have a basic understanding

of each game, you might not get all that much from this video; though you can definitely

stick around for the pretty visuals or perhaps it could serve as a good refresher if you're

not completely familiar with each entry in the series.

Hopefully this video will help newer fans to understand which titles they can pick up

to experience the stories with the characters that they're looking for.

To start things off, I think it's important that anyone new note that Fire Emblem didn't

hit Western shores until the widespread appeal of Marth and Roy after appearing in Super Smash Bros.

Originally Nintendo didn't think that RPGs like Fire Emblem would be popular for Western

audiences, (and you can learn more about that in our Advance Wars video here) but once they

finally gave us a chance we really proved them incredibly wrong and in some cases we've

made a lot of games even more successful here than they were in Japan.

So clearly we like this stuff a lot.

Because of this initial hesitation though on Nintendo's part, we didn't get a Fire Emblem

game until the 7th game in the series, Fire Emblem: Rekka No Ken, also known as

the Blazing Sword.

And of course like many other game series localized for the first time, in order to

avoid any confusion for new players in the West, there was no acknowledgement that it

was the 7th game in the series, nor was it even given a subtitle, so it's just called

"Fire Emblem."

I guess it makes sense, as usually when you're out at the store checking out a brand new

game and you realize it's a numbered sequel in a series that you've never played before, there's

generally a feeling of, "Oh, I might not be able to get into this if I haven't played

the first one," and, "What if I don't understand what's going on?"

And the fact that it was the 7th game out of nowhere could have seemed a little bit intimidating

to consumers.

Thankfully though most Fire Emblem games don't really require any knowledge of other games

in the series to be able to play and enjoy, so you don't really have to worry about that

at all.

And while their reasoning for leaving out the subtilte was sound and they wanted to

appeal to as many potential new fans as possible, it also lent to a very confusing titling

for this entry in the series with it just being named, "Fire Emblem."

So just keep in mind that anything before Fire Emblem 7 for the Gameboy Advance,

this one, was never officially released here in the West.

Before we get into talking about the main Fire Emblem games though I do want to discuss

Fire Emblem Heroes briefly as it is easily the most accessible Fire Emblem game to date

and serves as honestly a really great starting point for anyone looking to dip their toe into the

Fire Emblem series or wanting to try it out.

It's a free mobile game that you can play on any smartphone running iOS or Android,

and it has all of the characters that you may be looking for as a new player who's familiar

with Super Smash Bros and it's just simply a few taps away in your preferred app store.

While it is a little bit more of a watered down Fire Emblem experience when compared

to the main games, there's definitely still a lot of depth here for you to learn and experience,

and it continues to have even more depth added each and every month with the major app updates.

You can take it as casually or as hardcore as you want and still find a fun and enjoyable

time with it, so definitely check it out if you're wondering what this Fire Emblem stuff

is all about and want to have a taste to see if you like it.

And the best part is that there's no permadeath here so you don't have to worry about losing

characters.

Though I would suggest that if you're just looking to get the characters that you know

already like Marth, Roy, Ike, and so on, definitely be sure that they are the focus of the summon

banners when you go to summon, as otherwise it's going to be pretty hard to get them right

off the bat.

The characters pictured in each banner have increased odds so you can save your orbs for

when you see them in banners.

But overall it's also a great way to familiarize yourself with other characters in the series

that you may just grow to love through some new experiences in this game

and you can also reroll your account by completely deleting the app without linking a My Nintendo

account and then just redownloading it, playing through the few short prologue chapters once

more and then summoning again if you're not happy with your first few batches of characters

that you summon the first time around.

With that said though, let's now take a look at the main Fire Emblem games, the games that

started it all.

Let's start at the very beginning, shall we?

Marth is the original Fire Emblem protagonist, appearing as the main character in 4 of the

main series Fire Emblem games.

The first two of these games being Fire Emblem 1, Shadow Dragon and the Blade of Light for

the NES, and its sequel Fire Emblem 3, Mystery of the Emblem which serves as a sort of Book

II of Marth's story.

Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon and the Blade of Light, the first ever Fire Emblem game, was

a turn based tactical role-playing game featuring many fantasy classes, linear story progression

moving from map to map, level ups, character promotion, and permanent death when characters

die in battle.

Victory was achieved when an enemy base was captured or all enemies were defeated.

Fire Emblem 3, Mystery of the Emblem, served as both a remake of the original, bringing

it up to snuff for the Super Famicom, while also providing a Book II of Marth's story.

Characters could now have support bonuses from fighting nearby each other, mounted units

were actually able to dismount to be able to navigate certain terrain types better,

and so on.

Both of these games were never released in the West and although you can emulate the

games with some English translation patches that are out there I would ultimately have

to recommend that if you want to play these games that you play their Nintendo DS remakes

as they're not only better graphically, but they also have deeper plots, much better written

dialogue, extra gaiden chapters, a player created character unit in FE12, more difficulty

options, and much more.

The other two games featuring Marth serve as remakes of these original two games and

they came a little further on in the series, so we'll talk about those in a little bit.

Fire Emblem 2, known as Fire Emblem Gaiden, literally meaning "Fire Emblem side story,"

follows a pretty interesting Nintendo trend back in the day with them trying some strange

and out-of-the-box innovative new mechanics to follow up on their successful original

titles (resulting in sequels like Zelda II that were massively different than the originals).

Fire Emblem Gaiden featured many differences from its predecessor FE1, a few being a traversible

world map, controlling two different armies simultaneously throughout the game, battling

monsters alongside enemy soldiers, magic costing HP, third tier character promotions, and so

on.

This earned Fire Emblem Gaiden the title of the "Black sheep of the franchise" for being

such a different experience although we have seen some of its experimental additions to

the formula return in later entries in the series (which I'll bring up later).

This game starred dual protagonists Alm and Celica on a continent right across the sea

from Archanea where Marth's game took place.

So we're still in the same world.

We have also received a remake of this game very recently but of course that comes later

so we'll get there in a little bit.

Fire Emblem 4, Genealogy of the Holy War for the Super Famicom was the next entry in the

series, starring protagonist Sigurd and it was the first game in the series to introduce

child characters with his son Seliph front and center.

Genealogy also brought many differences and innovations to the series, first and foremost

being character pairing which provides you with children units later in the game, the

famous Fire Emblem weapon triangle system of swords beating axes, axes beating lances

and lances beating axes, a home castle system, weapon repairing, very massive maps requiring

more of a reliance on mounted units, castle guarding, a leadership system granting extra

hit and avoid to units, skills for the first time in the series, Ring items that serve

as the stat boosters, and various other differences.

Fire Emblem 5, Thracia 776 was also for the Super Famicom, and was sort of a midquel for

Genealogy, occurring between some of its major events.

This game featured Lief as the main protagonist with a very noticeable increase in difficulty

level, extra chapters called Gaiden chapters that could be unlocked by fulfilling certain

conditions, a fatigue system, fog of war maps, Rescuing, more useable Axes, playable dark

mages, and so on.

Genealogy and Thracia are some of the more difficult entries to play, as of course we

never got them to begin with here in the West and they haven't been remade yet nor are they

a part of any Nintendo Virtual Console libraries outside of Japn as of the time I'm making

this video, so you'll definitely have to emulate these games if you want to play them.

Starting off the GBA era of Fire Emblem games was Fire Emblem 6 Fuuin no Tsurugi, known

as Fire Emblem: The Binding Blade.

This game featured Roy as the main character, and once again while there are fan translations

and even some fake fandmade cartridges floating around out there, we never officially got

to experience Roy's story here in America.

This game is the first in the series to really give us the more modern Fire Emblem experience

with it essentially basing its foundation off of the established mechanics in Thracia

776 and expanding upon them.

Forgoing the skills and fatigue system of some of the previous games, instead this game

focuses more upon character growths, bases, and their equipped items.

It also brought a link arena, trial maps, different levels for support conversations,

character affinities, and had a more expanded magic system with light dark and anima magic

being given their own weapon triangle that continued throughout all of the GBA Fire Emblem

games that many fans including myself really enjoyed and appreciated.

There were also branching strory path routes and of course, how could I not mention it,

the beginning of the incredibly beautiful and essentially universally loved Fire Emblem

Gameboy Advance animation style with its crazy over the top battle animations and critical

hit flourishes.

(They should totally remake this game so we can play it)

(Fire Emblem Echoes: Young Lion of Elibe When!?)

This brings us to Fire Emblem: The Blazing Blade (Fire Emblem 7) and the first Fire Emblem

game we got here in America.

This game serves as a prequel to Fire Emblem 6, starring Eliwood, Lyn, and Hector; Eliwood

being Roy's father.

This game didn't offer too much different than its predecessor aside from being much

easier difficulty-wise, but it also introduced the tactician player character that served

as sort of the basis for future Avatars and player created characters though this one

served a much more minor role in the story, new weather conditions like rain or snow that

affected movement on maps, different storylines for different characters with Lyn's story

serving as the prologue chapters and Hector story modes being unlocked after beating Eliwood's

story, and a Support viewer to be able to re-view unlocked supports.

Due to it being the first game we ever got in the West, it served as many of our first

Fire Emblem experiences and with its Lyn Prologue chapters it has a very excellent tutorial

for new players of the series.

It's also available to purchase on the Wii U virtual console, so that's a great way to

play it if you have a Wii U.

Next we got Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones (or Fire Emblem 8) also on the Gameboy Advance

and this game featured dual protagonists Ephraim and Eirika.

It was sort of a spiritual sucessor to Fire Emblem Gaiden and thus had some familiar mechanics

and features that were present in Gaiden.

It featured new branched promotions which allowed characters to be upgraded into two

different classes, trainee units that started off incredibly weak but with incredible potential,

the return of the Fire Emblem Gaiden style world map with monsters lurking about and

skirmishes against them, a branched storyline where you can either choose Eirika's route

or Ephraim's route which results in different story progression and different maps, class

specific skills, as well as a post-game creature campaign where even after beating the story

you can continue to roam the world map and test your army against challenging dungeons.

Fire Emblem 8: The Sacred Stones is also available on both the Wii U and Nintendo 3DS Virtual

consoles, but the 3DS version is only available to members of the Nintendo 3DS Ambassador

program, which is a program Nintendo launched for players who bought the 3DS early when

it was much more expensive at its original price point before its major pricecut.

It allowed those players who were essentially early adopters to have 10 free NES games and

10 Free GBA games, which happened to include the Sacred Stones, but then they also never

went back and made it purchasable to everyone else,

so unfortunately this one isn't really accessible on the 3DS for everyone, but it is still possible

to emulate the game or purchase the original Gameboy Advance cartridge online, though it

may not be as cheap as you might have originally thought.

Following this the series jumped everforward into the world of 3D for the first time with

Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance for the Gamecube (or FE9).

This game introduced us to Ike and the Greil mercenaries as well as popular villains like

the Black Knight.

It featured many of the series staple features alongside the return of the home base mechanic,

bonus experience you could give to units at the base, character biorhythm which subtly

effected characters' hit and avoid stats throughout the story to simulate how they were feeling,

the introduction of the more modern versions of many commonly seen skills, seals, fully

voiced cg movie cutscenes, and even the introduction of more shapeshifting characters like the

Laguz who can transform into various animal species.

Path of Radiance went on to spawn a sequel on the Nintendo Wii, the tenth entry in the

series: Fire Emblem Radiant Dawn.

Though this game begins with main characters Micaiah and Sothe leading the ragtag Dawn

Brigade, Ike still has a centerfold role in this game and does also return as a playable

main character, albeit a little bit later on.

This game brought back third tier promotions allowing characters a second class upgrade

after being promoted for the first time, combat advantages for having the higher ground, and

even more laguz species like the new wolf laguz.

Next were Fire Emblem 11 and 12, the Fire Emblem 1 and 3 remakes featuring Marth that

we discussed earlier.

These games were released on the Nintendo DS, and are Fire Emblem Shadow Dragon (or

Fire Emblem 11) and Fire Emblem: New Mystery of the Emblem (Fire Emblem 12).

Fire Emblem 11, Shadow Dragon, is a very faithful remake to Marth's original game and its FE3

Book I version, this time though adding in some new features like weapon forging, a Nintendo

online Wireless shop where you could buy exclusive weapons, unit lending to send your units to

your friends' save files for a period of time, wireless multiplayer battling, class changing

to be able to swap units into different classes, and brand new gaiden chapters featuring some

new characters.

To access these gaiden chapters though you will need to have less than 15 units alive

in your army, so you'll have to get a lot of units killed off if you want to play through

these different chapters.

Unfortunately though at this point in time the online features like the multiplayer battling

over the internet and Wireless shop are no longer active due to the Nintendo DS Wireless

servers being shut down.

Due to Intelligent Systems desiring the remake to be very faithful to the original, many

fan favorite features and quality of life improvements were missing from this entry,

including now staple features like the rescue system.

Even though we started getting Fire Emblem games in the West starting with Fire Emblem

7, due to poor sales of some of the games leading up to Fire Emblem 12: New Mystery

of the Emblem and lukewarm reception of Shadow Dragon, we in the West never received Fire

Emblem 12, the remake of Fire Emblem 3.

Thus we never had a chance to play through the second half of Marth's story in English,

but thanks to some incredibly dedicated Fire Emblem fans over at the Fire Emblem translation

project, there is indeed a fan translation that you can download and use to patch a Fire

Emblem 12 Rom if you... you know happen to come across one of those.

It's really well done.

Uhh I mean my friend... uhh my friend said it's very well done.

Yeah.

Like I said though you will need a Fire Emblem 12 rom file to be able to use this translation

patch so keep that in mind.

And I can't officially condone these methods.

As for Fire Emblem 12's features, it brought us the first modern iteration of the My Unit

or avatar character that the player could customize to their liking and who served a

role in the story alongside Marth.

The game also featured extra chapters you could download for free known as BS Fire Emblem,

more advanced base functionality which provided free items, weapons, temporary stat boosts,

and support conversation levels at random, alongside the first ever iteration of casual

mode which allowed units who died in battle to return in the next battle and not stay

dead permanently.

Unfortunately at this point in time the older Fire Emblem titles, for example games like

Path of Radiance and Radiant Dawn with Ike and even Shadow Dragon with Marth have become

rather expensive due to their increasing rarity and reinvigorated popularity, so it's not

exactly very easy to get your hands on physical copies of them unless you're willing to spend

(in some cases) over a hundred bucks.

There's always the sketchy ROM route, but keep in mind what I said before about FE7

and FE12 being available on the Wii U Virtual Console, or you could enter the series in

the more modern era by picking up a copy of one of the 3DS Fire Emblem titles which we

will discuss now.

Fire Emblem 13 hit the Nintendo 3DS as Fire Emblem Awakening.

This game could have been the last game in the entire franchise due to declining sales

and other factors, but the developers pulled out all the stops and threw everything they

could at it, thankfully resulting in some of the first grandiose mainstream success

and popularity the Fire Emblem series has ever garnered.

This game easily held its position as one of the top 10 3DS games to own for a long

time and featured Chrom, a very very distant relative of Marth and takes place on Marth's

original continent thousands of years later as well as featuring the player customizable

protagonist Robin.

This game brought back the Gaiden esque World map alongside the spawning enemies you can

battle, a customizable main character avatar that was a bit more advanced than FE12's version,

Pairing characters and marriage from Fire Emblem 4, Genealogy also makes a comeback

with children units able to be recruited once their parents are together, new spotpass battles

where you could battle ai controlled versions of your friends' teams, a brand new pair up

mechanic where two characters could join together on the battlefield and assist each other in

battle for tag team attacking or guarding, and it was also the first entry in the series

to feature a lot of extra downloadable content with more challenging maps, characters, and

so on.

Honestly even though Awakening has some mixed feedback from some of the more oldschool Fire

Emblem fans in the community it's definitely an excellent title in the series to start

off with and very easy to get into, so consider starting with this game if the previous options

aren't available to you.

This is a game that the developers felt may have been the last in the entire franchise,

so there's definitely no lack of effort here, the amount of content and attention to detail

is masterful.

In this game you'll also be able to recruit all the series classic main characters like

Marth, Ike, Roy, Eliwood, Hector, Lyn, Ephraim, Eirika, Sigurd, Seliph, Leif, Sothe, Micaiah,

Alm and Celica via summoning their armies to the World map from the Bonus Box and beating

them in battle.

Just keep in mind though that they will be a little more generic looking due to their

implementation and not being a part of the main cast.

But they're in there if that's what you're looking for.

Please note that Corrin is not in this game since Corrin's game came after Awakening and

you also won't be able to utilize any Fire Emblem amiibo for this title either, as that

functionality started with the next entry in the series.

After Awakening's smashing success we received Fire Emblem 14, Fire Emblem Fates (Known as

Fire Emblem IF in Japan).

This game featured customizable main character Corrin as the lead protagonist and the big

choice of having to pick which side of the struggle to support, the Japanese-esque moral

good guy Hoshidans and the Greco-Roman inspired badder guys, the Nohrians.

Due to this choice the game was split into two different physical copies, Fire Emblem

Fates: Birthright (for choosing Hoshido) and Fire Emblem Fates: Conquest (for choosing

Nohr).

The other choices and their paths, including a third path, Revelation, where the player

chooses neither side, can be downloaded as paid DLC.

Birthright is similar in gameplay and style to Fire Emblem Awakening, Sacred Stones, and

Gaiden and is a bit more open with a world map and numerous grinding opportunities while

Conquest is a bit more classic Fire Emblem in style, sending you from story chapter to

story chapter and having a bit of a higher difficutly in general.

Though like I said, regardless of which physical version you get you can download the other

paths at $20 a piece.

Fates also featured a brand new My Castle system where you could customize your home

base, battle other friend's armies in their castle or your own, buy or earn character

skills from other players, spend some time with characters in the Private Quarters, and

also featured the return of the marriage and pair up mechanic where children units could

be recruited after pairing up units in your army.

It was also the first and only game in the franchise so far to offer another mode simular

to Casual mode, this version called Phoenix mode, where units that perished in battle

simply came back to life at the beginning of the player's next turn.

Though it destroys any and all difficulty or challenge within the game, it offers extremely

casual players a way of quickly playing through the story and not having to worry about much

at all.

And if it helps to get more people interested in Fire Emblem, I guess I'm all for it.

I'll stick with Classic mode though.

Fates is also another decent place to start, though it can be initially confusing as to

which Fates game to pick up, but I'd say that Fire Emblem Fates Birthright is the easier

of the two to pick up and start with and is much more forgiving for new players whereas

Conquest is much more challenging and limited on purpose to be a more authentic classic

Fire Emblem experience (which may be a bit much for some new players).

Marth, Ike, Lucina, and Robin are not in this game by default but you can utilize their

amiibo to summon them to your castle and if you do this enough times you can challenge

them to a battle and recruit them afterwards.

Though they won't have support conversations with your other units and are a little bit

more limited in terms of classes and equipment than some of your real characters will be.

But if you're looking to have these characters with you then this is definitely a great way

to do so if you have the amiibo and they're even better looking design-wise than their

counterparts that were in Awakening.

Second series amiibo like Roy and Corrin or even more recent Amiibo like Chrom, Young

Tiki, Alm, and Celica will not work in this way with Fire Emblem Fates as they were created

after its release and never added to the game, but the main character of Fates is Corrin

so that amiibo wouldn't really make sense anyway.

So it's only Roy, Alm, Celica, Young Tiki, and Chrom that get left out of this one.

And finally, as of recording this video, the latest main series Fire Emblem title was in

fact Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia, the remake of Fire Emblem 2 that I touched

upon earlier.

This remake stayed very faithful to Gaiden both to its boon as well as its detriment

in some areas, but was an incredibly polished, beautiful experience and an amazing game to

experience.

It is currently one of the most easily acquirable games on this list as it's the most recent

main series Fire Emblem release and these games definitely tend to maintain and even

increase in value over time, so grab this one if you've got a 3DS and don't own it already.

It's definitely a great game and you can check out this playlist if you want to learn more

about it.

As for what else it brought to the table; it featured full voice acting for the first

time in the series, a brand new first person village exploration mode akin to point and

click adventure games, third person Action RPG esque dungeon crawling, the return of

Gaiden's third tier classes and different mechanics like magic costing hp, archers being

able to attack from much larger ranges and even up close, and even had the modern addition

of skills that you can unlock after using certain weapons enough in battle.

It also had a brand new post-game dungeon that wasn't present in Gaiden alongside a

slew of DLC options as well.

Once again Marth, Ike, Lucina, and Robin are not in this game but you can use their amiibo

to summon phantom versions of them to the battlefield as computer controlled allies

to assist you for one turn.

Even Roy's works this time around, however this is a much more limited way of experiencing

these characters as you don't keep them permanently, so please keep that in mind.

The Alm and Celica amiibo will also unlock special in-game dungeons and allows you to

summon extra illusory versions of your own Alm and Celica characters with their specific

stats to the battlefield as well.

Once again the Amiibo released with Fire Emblem Warriors like Chrom and Young Tiki will have

no specific character functionality but all amiibo in general will summon random illusory

allies to help you in battle with this entry.

And the last game I will mention on this list is the brand new Dynasty Warriors and Fire

Emblem crossover title, Fire Emblem Warriors for the Nintendo 3DS and Switch.

In this game you can hack and slash your way through swathes of enemy units and you will

be able to play as series protagonists Chrom, Robin, Corrin, Lyn, Celica and Marth but no

other protagonist characters like Ike or Roy will be playable.

The developers have stated that they purposefully left them out in case they decide to make

a sequel.

Any Amiibo will also be compatible but will simply grant the player weapons and presents

instead of character unlocks.

And that catches us up to modern day as of the time I am making this video!

So, as a quick recap, Fire Emblem 1 had Marth, 2 had Alm and Celica,

3 was Marth again for his second story, 4 was Sigurd and Seliph, 5 was Leif, 6 was Roy,

7 was his father Eliwood with Hector and Lyn, 8 was Ephraim and Eirika, 9 and 10 were Ike

as well as Micaiah and Sothe in the sequel, 11 and 12 were once again both Marth as they

were remakes of his original games, 13 was Chrom and Robin, 14 was Corrin, and now 15

was once again Alm and Celica since it was another remake.

If you tend to prefer games with traversible world maps then you're looking for Fire Emblem

2, Gaiden, 8: The Sacred Stones, 13: Awakening, 14: Fire Emblem Fates Birthright and Revelation,

and Fire Emblem 15: Echoes Shadows of Valentia.

And you can play with other series main characters in Awakening without Amiibo, Fates with Amiibo,

and Echoes very briefly with Amiibo.

Great starting points for the series are Fire Emblem 7, Fire Emblem 8, and any of the 3DS

entries with Fire Emblem 13, Awakening, as perhaps the game I'd recommend you start with

the most.

And if you're looking for a more casual experience and you don't like the idea of units being

able to permanently die, you can play Fire Emblem 13: Awakening, 14: Fates, and 15: Echoes

and utilize the casual mode they offer where units who die in battle will return once that

chapter is over.

I know that was a lot of information to pump into your brain if you're just beginning to

peek into the franchise but hopefully this has helped to shed some light on things for

you and perhaps narrow down your search for which Fire Emblem title to try out (or at

least I hope it's given you some ideas as to which games in the series you may want

to pick up and try if you're looking for certain characters or certain experiences).

Fire Emblem is an incredible franchise and I hope you go on to love it as much as I and

Mercedes-AMG GT: The GT Family at Bilster Berg Pt. 2 | #MBFanFilm - Duration: 29:38.

Look! This can almost be done with one hand!

That's where you actually need traction control

especially in this weather.

Speaking of wet tarmac:

I later followed "Mister DTM" onto the race track...

drove through a puddle...

the car swung off...

and I almost saw myself crashing into the guardrails!

From the GT R, GT C, GT, GT S

now to Janko Wicke

who is part of the team of the powertrain.

Exactly.

We've got here the big engine: the 4-litre biturbo.

What special features does it have?

The engine is part of our V8 engine family.

But for the sports cars.

It is built with dry sump lubrication,

which means that we don't have a normal oil sump

such as every customer knows.

That is, under the engine is a box with oil

and a dipstick.

For the sports cars, the oil is here

in this black container.

In this big one?

Yes, in here.

Why is it constructed like that?

It enables higher corner speed, higher acceleration,

higher deceleration.

That is, the oil that's usually sloshing

around in an oil sump from left to right

is actively sucked off with a pump

and transferred into this tank

and is collected there

independently of acceleration and cornering

and is then again sucked from the tank

by the high pressure oil pump

in order to provide the engine with oil.

So everything is provided with as usual.

So that's what's special about it as a sports car

so that it's possible to drive fast with it.

The second advantage of this configuration is that

if there is no oil sump that is relatively high,

that the engine can be built flatter

and can be located at a lower point of the vehicle.

It's about the centre of gravity.

Yes, exactly!

Apart from that, as you said, the engine

has 4 litres of displacement, V8,

two turbo chargers.

What's special about the turbos is that

as you can see here

are located between the cylinder banks.

Why is it designed like that?

Firstly, the engine is more compact through that

and secondly, it improves the responding qualities

because the escape channels of the cylinder heads

directly lead into the turbos

and thus, no heat, no energy is lost

but the whole energy from the exhaust fumes

goes into the turbos.

That means that you can say that

the warmer it is up there

the better for the engine.

Technically, yes.

But it is of course difficult,

because the turbos can get very hot.

What temperatures are we talking about?

Considerably more than 900 °C.

Okay.

So if the hood is directly above that

which should not be 900 °C warm...

Yes, right.

...it needs a lot of effort

to cool the whole thing down again.

But that's why we have engineers working on this

who are also concerned with the cooling of the system.

In other words, it is safe.

The turbos are hot, but not too hot.

And the body of the car does not suffer.

What does the cooling system look like?

Do you use air?

Much air is flushed through it.

That means that during operation,

as much air as possible is run

above the engine, the catalytic converter,

and the hot turbos

in order to eliminate the heat.

That means that you mainly use

airflow to cool it down.

Exactly.

We have the 4-litre biturbo in all models

of the GT. That means

from the GT up to the GT R.

Correct.

Nonetheless, we get different output levels.

That's right.

How does that come to be?

How do you do that?

The engines look very similar on the outside

but they are different with regard to the turbos.

The high output versions of the GT have other turbos

that can handle a higher air flow

because for high performance

you need both fuel and air.

The air has to go through the turbos

which were optimized for this.

And I need much boost pressure for high performance.

And in order to increase the boost pressure,

the turbos were also changed.

585 PS come out of this engine

and have to be transferred

to the transmission in the back

because of the transaxle design

with the engine in the front

and the transmission at the rear axle.

And this "torque tube"

that is, the cardan shaft within it,

can transfer this?

It transfers it.

The cardan shaft is made of carbon fiber

and — what's special — it turns at motor speed.

That means that if the engine does 7,000 rpm

the whole cardan shaft also turns

with 7,000 rpm.

This requires much effort

when it comes to making it safe, to testing it.

That it is safe,

that it survives until the end of the life cycle.

And it does.

Okay.

Last but not least,

let's talk about the transmission

as part of the powertrain.

In order to maintain balance,

the transmission is at the rear axle.

Right.

That's one thing.

But what is special about the transmission?

Because, in a GT R, GT, GT S,

if you pull the lever,

you can really feel it.

It really goes forward.

Roughly speaking, the technical data are the following:

it's a 7-speed transmission.

It's a dual clutch transmission.

The experts should know what that means.

You can roughly say that when one gear is engaged

the next is already waiting to be engaged.

That's right, that's how it works.

And for the GT R, the transmission is optimized

in comparison to that of the GT S

by slightly changing the transmission ratio

of the first and seventh gear

in order to change the responding qualities

and the acceleration.

And the final drive

has also become shorter

in order to put an emphasis on dynamics.

But as such, the whole AMG GT family

has the same transmission.

That's correct.

One camera, two...

Let's see how Johannes is going to do,

if there remains colour in his face.

I'd say let's do a taxi drive!

There still is colour in his face.

Green, like the car!

Are you ready?

Yes, I'm ready, I'm filming a little.

You are filming me?

Then I have to make a special effort.

Ok, listen: for the drive mode

I am currently in race mode.

But I still have the suspension on "hard".

On "Sport Plus", as it's called.

But I now choose "Comfort"

because the dampers are more absorbing then

and thus it gets more downforce

and a better handling

under these conditions.

If it was dry, I'd choose "hard".

I've set it to automatic transmission.

In general, everybody can choose what they want

but it makes it more comfortable like this.

I am used to automatic transmission,

I've been driving like that for a long time now.

Thus, I have more control over the car like this.

You're ready? Ok, let's go!

So...

...what I also do, next to having the race mode active,

is switching the ESP completely off.

I push the ESP button for a longer time,

for about 3 seconds

and then you can see it shining here.

Middle setting.

This is the middle setting of the traction control.

What does "traction control" mean?

I'll take it easy for the first lap.

What does it mean?

Traction control means that lateral stabilization is gone.

There is no more ESP.

But the traction, that is the forward acceleration,

is still there.

And I can adjust it to a few levels.

Awesome.

Let's heat up the tyres, shall we?

That's crazy!

As you can see, I really have to heat up the tyres first

because the car has 585 PS

that you have to translate into acceleration.

Yes.

Here you have to be careful

because the car can swing off due to these waves.

It's like a rollercoaster!

Yes, it's the new rollercoaster at the Bilster Berg.

You bet.

Awesome.

So, this was the first lap, as a warm-up.

Ah, that was only the warm-up.

Yes.

You can see that the traction control is working

when it is blinking.

You can observe that in a second.

So, breaking for the first corner

and when we are stepping on the gas now

it starts blinking.

There you can see it blinking.

Awesome!

Then we know that the traction control is working.

And we also know that it's slippery outside.

I believe everybody enjoys this.

I also took part in the development of the GT4.

Traction control and the like.

But how do you approach a road car?

I know how you would approach it for a race car

but there you have the basis of the road car.

You already have a certain range.

But how do you approach this?

Because you have nothing. How does that work?

Not quite.

The system already exists in motor sports,

and our company is not that large,

we are still talking to each other.

We get feedback from Bernd Schneider

and from "Reini" Renger, the colleagues who are here.

And also from you, because you already know

the system from motor racing.

And you also drove the GT R very early on

and also gave us feedback

concerning the traction control.

But it is a good example

for the straightforwardness of the car.

Form follows function.

We use valuable parts that fulfill a purpose.

There is nothing that only looks like brute force

but is in truth a hindrance,

and the traction control is one of these things.

We enable the performance-oriented driver

for example at a track day

to completely turn off the ESP.

The traction control is only there

to improve the performance

because excessive wheelspin

at the rear axle is prevented.

You can control how much wheelspin is permitted

at the rear axle by choosing the position.

Position 1 to 9: I can choose between anything from

heavy rain up to completely grippy tyres

and dry conditions.

And that makes it much easier for me

as a driver to achieve a good lap time

because there is never too much wheelspin.

There is only as much as I choose with the control.

Driving in the rain is hard work,

even for a professional driver.

Because you have to do more steering,

I'm steering all the time.

The car is skidding

because the little film of water

that is between the road and the tyre

prevents the tyre

from completely interlocking

with the tarmac.

And that's why the car is skidding.

That has nothing to do with the car,

it's only about the connection

between the tyre and the road.

Next to all the GTs you can see on the road

there are two treasures in our fleet

that are not made for the road.

And I am standing here with nobody less than

the five-time DTM champion Bernd Schneider

who was involved in the development

of the SLS AMG GT3, the AMG GT3

and the AMG GT4.

Bernd, we are standing next to the GT3,

which is the car you were the most successful with

in the DTM.

Absolutely, and we are very proud of that

because we only started customer racing in 2010.

And much has happened since then

if you look at how many units

of the SLS GT3 we have sold.

We have already sold more units of the GT3

than we did of the SLS

during its whole lifespan.

That's why we are very content

with the development of the whole programme.

The base is the GT,

which means that you took the chassis

of the GT and made

a GT3 race car out of it.

What's special about a GT3 car?

The differences between a GT3 car

and the members of the GT family

start under the hood:

this is not the 4-litre V8-biturbo engine

but the engine we know from the SLS

the 6.3- or 6.2-litre naturally aspirated engine

we chose back then

because it is cost-efficient.

The lifespan is extremely important

for these cars because of the running costs.

And these can be calculated

very well with this engine.

That's why we stuck with the trusted engine.

The chassis was

completely borrowed from the GT.

There were no significant changes.

What we have done is optimize the weight:

carbon fiber hang-on parts.

The GT3 is about 300 kg lighter

than the GT R.

We had to slim it down a little.

What has changed is the aerodynamics.

You can see the flaps in the front,

the underbody, the big wing,

these are the prominent features

distinguishing it from the GT R

and that also improves the lap times.

The GT R has more horsepower than the GT3

something many don't understand.

But you can see it here very well:

restrictors.

Depending on the setting,

the engine has between

500 and 600 and a few PS.

But you usually drive this car

with 520 to 540 PS,

that is 40 PS less than in the GT R.

You've talked about the performance,

let's talk about a current topic:

there is a special version of these

that has just been delivered:

the 50 year edition of the AMG GT3.

And those have 650 PS

because there is no little tube in between.

Yes, exactly, it is completely straight through.

There was the 45th Anniversary Edition of the SLS.

And now we have stepped up our game

with the Edition 50.

650 PS is a lot for about 1,280 kg

and offers much driving pleasure.

And that's where you really need the

traction control for the first time.

With these cars, you need it

from time to time, most of all in this weather,

but otherwise, the car has such good traction

that you hardly ever need the traction control.

Traction control reminds me of the development:

you play a part

in the development of all cars.

A very important and big part

with your experience.

I was involved in the GT4,

but there we already had a base.

But Thomas Jäger and you,

you developed the SLS AMG GT3

from scratch.

What is that like?

How do you approach that?

Do you sit in the car and hope that it works?

What was it like at the beginning?

I took part in the development

of the road car of the SLS from scratch.

It was very interesting as a race driver

to develop a production car

and to get to know the processes there

because it's a little different from motor racing.

And when we started customer racing

with the SLS

we used the experience from the DTM

and could apply many things

but it was very important to Thomas and me

that the car was not only for professional drivers

but also for customers who buy it

to attend track days now and then.

And that's why our main concern

was that the car is easy to operate

that you have a good overview

over all the controls you have to use

and that the car is easy to drive.

And that also was the cornerstone

of the success of the SLS

because when people entered it,

they said: "Wow! Nice and easy to drive."

It's just fun!

Yes, the success of the car shows

that this has worked.

And then you get to the AMG GT3.

That is, you have the basis of

the SLS AMG GT3.

Does that make it easier

or does it feel like starting all over again?

We do not start from scratch

but we have set the bar very high

with the SLS

and we knew that it was going to be

hard to exceed.

But we tried very hard to

and we have learned at lot.

It was 5 years of many processes

you had to go through.

And that's why we could borrow much

and just improve certain aspects

of the GT

and we have achieved that.

The GT still has so much potential.

What was important to us for the SLS was

that we wanted to build a car

that doesn't need any performance updates.

And that was also our goal for the GT.

A performance update means

that you have to do something to make it faster

and that costs a lot of money.

But if you build a good car from the beginning,

then you get such a small restrictor like this

and much weight

and then you can always improve it a little

by increasing the size of the restrictor

or reducing the weight.

And I believe we were successful with that

and our competitors envied us a little

because we do not have to

force a performance update

on our customers every other year.

As you said at the beginning,

the customers are a priority for AMG,

which brings me to the GT4.

Yes. GT4...

...the question I get most often is:

"What's the difference?"

You can see a difference in price.

Considering that a GT4 costs nearly half as much

as a GT3.

But in my opinion, you get

a lot of race car for that price.

And for us, it was the next

logical step that we said

that the GT3 as the only customer project

is not enough,

we need something that's more of a

beginner's model.

And with the GT4, you are

not yet at the level of the GT3,

but get very much of a race car.

Of course, we also know that customer racing

is not only about building a good car

but you also need a good service,

you have to guarantee the supply

of parts, and so forth.

And that's the challenge

if you start such a project.

But the feedback we received for the GT4

during the past few months

since we have presented it

has been incredible and I think that we are

headed in the right direction.

We still have a lot to learn

because it's more of a challenge than the GT3

because we are going to sell a lot more of these

because of the lower price.

Yes. If we make the connection to the

street legal car, to the GT R,

is the GT4 closer to the GT R or the GT3,

or is it positioned in the middle?

I think that it's a very good option

in the middle

because it has the biturbo engine

that has enormous potential

because this car is going to have

the balance and performance of the GT3

and we are driving with very few PS

at the moment, as you know,

and the aerodynamics have been

adapted a little, of course.

The wing is very similar

to that of the GT R.

The front lip is even a little more

sophisticated than that of the GT R

because it is retractable.

For racing, such a lip

is not ideal because

it gets hit a little and such a lip

costs very much to replace.

And it should also be easy to handle,

that it's easy to drive

that as a beginner, you can just

get into it and it's fun.

I've always called it "plug and play":

you get into it and it works.

It works well for the GT3,

even though the GT4 is the entry

into the GT programme,

if you want to phrase it like that.

In general, you can say

that also the GT4 class

becomes more professional.

If you look at the competition,

the bar has been raised,

which was also our aim,

we did this because we wanted to be the benchmark.

Yes, the competition

went along with it

because everybody said that

because of the price of the GT3

you need an entry level class

that is still affordable.

And not only we saw it like that

but the competition shared this opinion

which is why there are the others as well.

Competition is good for business.

I believe that we are well positioned

that the basic car,

the GT R, is already a great product

we didn't have to change much.

And that's why I think that we have

a small advantage over the competition.

The customer has the last word

and we are all excited for

the delivery of the first cars

because the big question is how it is received.

And that's also my last question:

Who is this car for?

You talked about the customers:

Who buys a GT4?

I've talked to some customers

who have already ordered the car

and there are really big

differences between them:

there are a few who said

that they buy it to use it 1 to 3 times a year

at a track day.

They just want to get into it,

start it, and off it goes.

Maybe check the air pressure,

but otherwise just have fun with it.

A nice father and son activity.

Yes. I've just been to America

and there is a father and son team

who race together who are

nearly professional drivers.

They say that this is the perfect car for us

to take part in long distance races,

the American IMSA series

with the GT4.

And they prepare for that

very professionally.

So it's for everybody, from the amateur

to nearly professional race drivers.

And we have to serve them

with the right product, with the right car

to make them all happy.

Perfect. When can we see you

on the race track again?

In October, I'll take part in the

"12 hours of Spa" with the GT4

and I'm excited to see how it works.

Very good! Thanks a lot, Bernd!

Thank you!

And we'll go back into the rain to see how it's going.

I'm doing 200.

200 km/h, and look at this!

You can have a lot of fun, also with the GT R.

And it's still very stable, look!

This can almost be done with one hand!

Now I understand why it needs the big wing in the back!

Yes! Many think that the wing is only there

to look good, but it really

makes a difference.

With the wing, you have more

downforce at the rear axle,

and you really need that.

We have a front lip

that is automatically lowered.

It's an active element to improve

aerodynamics, the front lip.

Which is not allowed in the F1 regulations.

Exactly.

But why do you use this to improve aerodynamics?

What does it accomplish?

The effect behind it is known,

it's the Venturi effect, which means that

if there is an airflow, and I

reduce the opening, the air

has to flow faster.

This means that in the front

below the engine, I have an element

that can be lowered like a soft wave.

How much?

40 mm.

This reduces the opening for the air

between these two parts and the ground,

which increases the speed of the air.

And if it hits an area that opens up in the back,

then it generates reduced pressure.

A diffuser. We have a small one in the back.

Yes.

In the back, we have the effect of the diffuser,

and in the front the Venturi effect

after the front lip.

In the end, it even

improves the cd value,

which wasn't even the aim.

But we have less uplift force at the front axle.

And that's what delights us driving dynamics people and you:

a car that isn't lifted

from the ground by the air,

but is ideally even pushed down.

But you shouldn't overdo some things:

we need to create an aerodynamic balance

between the front and the rear axle.

And as you know, everybody likes a car

that corners like a go-kart at lower speeds.

Yes, very sharp and precise!

But I can't handle such a car anymore at 300 km/h

and that's why we have a specific aerodynamic balance

that generates more downforce on the

rear axle than on the front axle.

Incredible!

Did you like it?

Yes, it's awesome!

And I'm not green!

You have colour in your face again!

That's great!

Great, thank you very much!

Thank you, it was really cool!

The skidding was awesome!

The master!

Speaking of wet tarmac:

I've later secretly followed

"Mister DTM" onto the race track.

I have to say I nearly regret it,

not because of Bernd Schneider...

Don't let him hear that!

No, you regret it because,

as with Jan, if you are

following a master,

who is just so good at it,

you feel very small afterwards.

But of course, an instructor is considerate,

he could have easily outpaced me,

which he didn't do, he waited for me.

But what added to the difficulty was that

the track was much wetter than during our lap.

There were puddles everywhere.

Bernd Schneider also drove with one hand:

with one hand at the steering wheel

and the radio in the other hand.

And he masterfully steered his GT R

through the puddles, maintaining the ideal line.

And I was skidding in nearly every corner.

Not for a long time, but again and again.

I also couldn't use the curbs,

because they were like ice.

You can see the footage of that now,

we have a little bit of that on camera.

I have to say I had a few near death experiences.

And what's also treacherous...

...talking about concentration and reading the road:

You must never ever think yourself safe!

Right at the end, after 4 or 5 laps,

we were on a straight,

and I accelerated to catch up.

I touched the gas a tiny bit too much

in the "Sport Plus" mode,

drove through a puddle,

the car swung off,

and I nearly thought that I was going to

hit the crash barrier.

But the GT R

has a very well tuned ESP,

it catches you.

You only mustn't panic and

perform too quick steering motions.

And then I was back on track.

My heart was racing,

but I've noticed what the car can do.

Thank you very much

for guiding me through this world,

through the AMG GT family.

You're very welcome!

I'm enjoying it myself,

and I'm not doing it only because I belong to AMG.

You're living it!

You really have to live something like that.

There are Porsche fans,

Mercedes fans, AMG fans and so on.

And I'm really enjoying this.

And I believe you can see that:

I'm always smiling, no matter which car I drive,

even if it's only an A 45.

And if you had fun as well

that makes me even happier.

I was in my element on the race track.

That's my thing!

I'm trying to teach many people how to race.

I have a series on that on my YouTube channel.

Yes, you have to tune in!

How to become a race driver, if you want to.

And I hope that you've developed a taste for it!

Absolutely! I'd gladly do it again!

I'm already looking forward to meeting you again!

I hope that's going to be soon!

Great, thank you very much!

Goodbye, tune in again,

2018 State of the City - The Art of Neighborhoods - Duration: 1:22.

Neighborhoods are the lifeblood of all great cities. It's where we raise our families or

we connect with friends where the community truly becomes family. As our

home base it's paramount for us to ensure we are supporting youth where it

matters most. And your engagement has been instrumental in serving as a guide in

so many ways. By focusing in on neighborhoods we are creating a strong

infrastructure for generations to come. Through the enhancement of Parks and

Recreation such as securing funding for Traner pool and the Neighborhood

Renewal initiatives, we are revitalizing many cherished spaces in our community.

This past year we count on several public-private partnerships that will

make our city more successful. Neighborhoods were also essential in

providing valuable feedback as we planned

smart land use over the next 20 years in the City of Reno. Together with you, we're

building stronger communities.

How to Pre-order and support my Upcoming EP! - Duration: 2:55.

hi everyone I hope you had a great start to the new year

firstly thank you so much to those of you that have pre-ordered my EP

and shared it to family and friends and just listen to it thank you so much

your support means everything thank you so much

Those of you that are a bit confused and not quite sure what to do and are interested in buying my music

and everything, this is what this video is about

I've had a few people questioning me not sure what to do

so here are a few things on how you can pre-order and listen to my music

Firstly the main one is iTunes, if you've

got an Apple device or an iTunes account then just go on to iTunes

and type in Moving On EP by Saloni, that is what counts towards

the iTunes chart position the most.

I mean I'm hoping to get on there

Pop charts is where I'm aiming for and the more buys I get the higher my chart

position will be so please do buy and pre-order and share them across

One thing I'd like to emphasize is that these pre-orders are what matter,

if you buy the EP after it's been released it won't count towards my child position as

much as pre-orders do so please do get on it now there's only about seven days

left and those of you who don't have iTunes then you can find my music on

google play, amazon and other music buying websites just type in Moving On EP Saloni

Another thing that counts towards my iTunes chart position is also

Spotify and the more listens I get the more followers the more monthly listeners

I get the higher up the chart position would be so please do go listen

share it to as many people as you can follow me and everything and

you just have to type in Moving On Saloni and i should come up

it would be so grateful if you could go and do that I mean it doesn't take too long

Another way you can support is also viewing on YouTube view my music videos

I'll put links down below as well and at the end of this video also you can just

type in Saloni Moving On EP and stuff should come up

yeah so the more views I get the higher I could be on the iTunes chart position as well

And I hope this video has cleared out most your doubts

If you're still confused and you can comment down below and I'll reply to everything and

I'll put links to all of these in the comment section or in the description below

and yeah thank you so much to everyone that has already done this and has carried on viewing

everything it really does help thank you so much and just 7 days left now yay

Thank You everyone!

PRESNEL KIMPEMBE - Gauche/Droite - Kingsley Coman or Eragny ? - Duration: 3:51.

Ouch...

You really like dilemmas, don't you?

Left, I chose my dogs, even if

I went to Florida and spent

some amazing holidays with my mates.

But left anyway, because my dogs, it's my blood.

Right,

it's where I grew up, it's my city,

it's where I met all my friends,

it's where

everything started let's say.

So I'll chose right.

No... I'll chose right anyway.

Even if I know that, on the left,

there is one of the best strikers I've played with

and I've trained against.

We all know his character, his strength,

I'm really proud I've played with a person like this.

But Eragny is in my heart, and I'm there everyday so...

Right!

It's the same thing! Right!

My city goes first.

It's where

everything started, as I said,

even if

the Ney is someone I like very much,

Here...

You want to get me in trouble!

I'm going to say right again.

Even if on the left, it's, let's say,

the trigger of my career,

What did I say before the match? Kimpembe is going to make the match of his life!

Messi, Neymar, Suarez, I haven't seen them!

It was the first one, I hope it won't be the last one.

I chose right anyway!

We're going to stay on the right...

Even if it's Adri,

he's been my friend for years now.

We're going to stay on the right but

Adri really is

a guy I've learned

a lot of stuff with, I've joked with,

we've been together since the formation center,

we've known each other since U11.

But the hood is the hood!

Ouchhhhh...

You really like dilemmas, don't you?

I'll chose right anyway, even if

Kingsley, the General,

he knows I hold him in my heart.

But I'll chose right anyway.

Here, left, straight to the point.

The whole hood can turn his back on me, no problem. It's my mother and...

I try to make her as proud as I can,

I think I succeed quite well for now,

I hope I won't disappoint her,

I hope she will be

with me for many years to come

so she can see what I'm capable of doing,

and how far we're going to go together.

Press Samples I Have Repurchased - Duration: 8:10.

Hey friends.

Welcome back.

For those of you who don't know me, I'm Courtney, and I have my two standard poodles, Phaedra

and Nyx in the room hanging out with me.

You may see them in the background.

Today I wanted to talk about PR products that I've repurchased.

I'm sure it will come to no surprise to you, but pretty much everything Urban Decay.

So Perversion Mascara.

This is something I received as a PR sample several years ago.

I keep repurchasing it whenever I'm wearing mascara and I'm not doing lash extensions,

just because I think it works really well for me.

I really like it.

I like the shape of the brush, which is, I'm sure you've seen it by now, but I just find

that that shape seems to do a really good job of grabbing onto my tiny little lashes,

and basically getting them up, getting them dark.

So love this.

I don't have it in the room with me, but the Kopari face cream was something I received

as a PR sample, and then since then I've bought two more bottles of it because it really works

for my dry skin.

It's basically a hydrating day cream.

It doesn't have SPF.

And it will just, I don't know, it makes my skin look so good in my opinion.

So I put it on whenever I'm not going to wear SPF, or I put it on before SPF to hydrate

my skin.

Next up would be the Urban Decay Naked Basics One Palette.

I've actually repurchased that palette at least once if not twice, because I hit pan

on the shade Walk of Shame.

I love Walk of Shame.

It used to be my go to base shade.

However, I wouldn't purchase it again, just because I've stopped using a tinted base shade,

and instead I use the Milani Prep-Set-Go setting powder, but that's a product that I loved,

that I kept repurchasing, and I thought it was worth mentioning.

Next up is the Urban Decay Afterglow blushes.

So I received the initial set of shades that launched and I really loved them.

They became my go to blush formula.

So every time new blushes come out, I look at the colors to see if I want to buy them.

And I've picked up X-Rated, and TMI.

And I keep hoping that they're going to put out a cool-toned beige color, maybe similar

to Colour Pop Aphrodisiac, or Urban Decay's Bun Bun Lipstick.

But I really want a nice cool-toned blush from them, because I have a lot of ... I think

the majority of blush tones I have from them are warm.

But I love their blushes.

I've given them away in giveaways.

I've bought them for friends.

I've bought them for family members.

I really, really love them.

Also, would be the Urban Decay Vice Lipsticks.

I'm sure this comes as no surprise, because I just did a huge giveaway with the lipsticks

with all of my favorite shades that I purchased for the giveaway.

I even bought some of the ones and had them engraved.

So, like, this one says PhyrraNyx.

This one says Cruelty Free.

This one says Witchcraft.

So I really love their products.

I love their lipsticks.

I love their lip pencils.

I love their eye pencils.

Pretty much everything from Urban Decay that I've ever received as a PR sample, I've went

out and bought more for myself.

The only product of theirs that I don't really wear, that I do love, is their Naked Skin

Foundation.

And that's because their Naked Skin Foundation is a great finish for my dry skin, but they

don't have a shade match for me, and I'm tired of adding white to a product.

So it didn't make sense to me to buy another bottle to just try to futz with it to make

it kind of match my skin when it's not really a perfect match for my skin.

There's also the Urban Decay eyeshadow singles.

I recently bought SGH, which is the new Kristen Leanne shade.

It's a yellow.

I've bought other colors too that I just didn't receive that I wanted to pick up.

By the way, this color looks horrible on me.

If you have any suggestions for how to wear yellow and make it look good, share them with

me, because I have no fucking idea.

It doesn't look good on me, and I don't really know how to wear it to make it look better.

I tried wearing it yesterday and just kind of doing it as a single wash of color, and

then putting a little bit of definition at the outer crease.

No, it looked awful.

Please help a blogger out.

Give me some suggestions.

Okay, so you get the idea with Urban Decay that I've bought all the things.

I keep buying all the things.

I'm going to keep buying all the things because I love their products.

But next on my list, and I bet you wouldn't guess this, is the Stila Glitter & Glow.

I received a couple of these as PR samples, and then I went out and bought other colors

that I wanted.

Then, whenever the released their Shimmer & Glow formula, I went ahead and bought a

bunch.

They're really gorgeous.

This is La Douce, which is like a dirty olive martini-type color.

I'm wearing Cloud today, which is the shimmery shade in my eyeshadow look.

It's basically like a lavender with a gold shift.

Really pretty.

I also picked up Pigalle, which is this sort of cranberry burgundy color.

And it's super pigmented.

I feel like Cloud isn't very pigmented, but maybe because it's so light.

But that one, not a problem at all.

I was wearing Freedom in my last video, and you guys loved it and asked for a tutorial

on it.

It's kind of like an iridescent mint.

Then, of course, I bought a couple of the Mermaid shades, because reasons.

That's Into the Blue.

And this one is Sea Siren.

So yeah, I love these.

That's why I bought so many of them.

I personally find they work best if I layer them on top of other products.

Next would be the Dr. PAWPAW lip balm, like, multipurpose balm stuff.

I met the owner of Dr. PAWPAW at a CosmoProf in Las Vegas, and she gave me samples of her

products.

She gave me a couple of different colors.

This is the original.

She gave me the red with gold glitter.

Then, she gave me a peach and a red.

I tried these out.

Loved them.

My husband tried out the original, loved it.

So then I went ahead and bought four more of these.

So I have them stashed around my house, in my purse, et cetera, because they are so good.

I put them on my lips, they actually make my lips feel hydrated and moist, and just

repaired.

Because I suffer from chronic dry skin, dry lips, even though I drink tons and tons of

water.

So having a product that I can just kind of put on my lips, and they immediately feel

better is great.

And I love that my husband loves it.

So it's kind of a big win for me.

And they're so inexpensive.

I picked them up, I think, for $10 from DermStore.

So if you're curious about them, I would highly recommend checking them out.

Next would be the Beauty Blender.

So, for years I used basically whatever generic makeup sponge I happened to have on hand.

I used Real Techniques a lot actually, because I liked it.

Before that, I think I used Sonia Kashuk.

But when I first got a Beauty Blender, I really fell in love with it, because I just felt

like it worked so much better than anything else.

It was just, like, the right amount of soft, and give, and blend.

However, I had been purchasing it over and over again for the past couple years since

I got it as a press sample, but I don't know that I'm going to purchase it again, because

I picked up the NYX sponge and it's pretty amazing.

It's got this flat end that makes it easy to get under the eyes and around the brows.

So if you're carving stuff out, it's not a problem.

And then it has the nice soft Beauty Blender.

And when you pick it up at first it feels super hard, but once you get it wet, it gives

you the nice soft, and give, so I feel like it blends really well.

The last item on my list I think is going to come as a surprise to you.

So, I received the IDUN Minerals Norrsken Foundation as a PR sample, fell in love with

it, thought it was awesome.

So whenever IDUN Minerals launched their new Nordic Veil Foundation, I went ahead and bought

it right away.

Absolutely love it.

So I guess, basically, that would be another example of an item I received as PR, thought

was amazing, bought the new item, it's even better.

This is my holy grail go to foundation.

I love, love, love this stuff, because I don't have to add white to it.

It just works.

I do set it.

I use Laura Geller's Balance-n-Brighten Foundation in Porcelain to set it.

It looks fantastic.

I am wearing it right now and I feel beautiful.

So anyway, I think that about covers it for items that I received as PR samples that I

repurchased over and over again.

Like I said, if you know me, you know it's probably no surprise that it's Urban Decay

over, and over, and over again for myself, for my friends, for my family, for my giveaways.

And speaking of giveaways, just for you on YouTube I have a special giveaway that basically

you will only know if you watch this video.

I'm going to be giving away the Urban Decay Troublemaker palette with the Urban Decay

Troublemaker mascara.

DIY modular desk using t-slot aluminum - Duration: 12:14.

hey guys we're Evan and Katelyn and today we're gonna show you how to make a

modular desk using t-slot of aluminum framing which is one of my favorite

things

so this over-engineered beast of a desk was actually Evans idea so we're gonna

let him explain that one it's not over engineered it's perfect I didn't know

what the final shape of my desk would be and I wanted to make something flexible

so I made it modular but after much testing and me joining in on the desk

we came up with some changes to make

I know you're probably pretty impressed right now with this desk but don't judge

it in its current state in this video we're gonna show you how it's put

together the changes that we're making and what you can do to make this idea

work for you plus we have plans

T- slotted aluminum framing works because it has the slots in it right there you

can attach these fasteners to any of those slots and what that allows you to

do is easily slide the connectors and change the dimensions of any of this

plus you can use connectors like this or this or other things. this was originally

a standing desk but these days it's more of a junk accumulation spot so the main

change we're making is swapping the large upper part and the small lower

part of the desk we're also gonna adjust the heights to make it more ergonomic

for a sitting desk

what we were gonna do to make the upper shelf was combine this piece of wood

and this piece of wood but they're kind of in rough shape so I think we're going to

get something nicer and we also need to cut some aluminum to make cross beams

over there and right here for the shelf to go across

so this big piece is actually IKEA butcher bot so we're gonna double stack

some pine to match it this is gonna be fun we have one tiny we have one tiny

brush and then two tinier brushes! I forgot that we have this I've never done a glue of this big mmm I'm

just gonna stand here and watch I do worry about having enough glue wonder if

we can mix glues we should have done this live with people who know more

about woodworking than us. What are we doing! I like how we said we're gonna get some close-ups of this and now we're like, panic!

well insert artsy glueing shot from another project, look how calm we were then.

Ooo look at how calm ooo.

I'm gonna beat you, you have a lot more clamps than I do. Ah you won! Give it a little sanding, yeah a little sanding, chop the ends off.

thank you

let's see how wide it turned out 72 on the dot! awesome

sand in the place where you used to park it's funny cause it's true

this is what we're gonna use to finish our piece because it dries fast. and it has a nice surface finish

coat one done. we'll do another one in the morning

let's do it

maybe this will make it easier I'm not sure if you're supposed to do this it's

it's 46 degrees! too cold! Ah that's what I'm talking about

wax on wax off thanks for the pity laughs I think we're done

You good? yep.

I walked over here to get out of the chips but it was done. that's cool! yeah really nice

surface finished that's awesome well that was like butter so now that we have

all the new components ready it's time to carefully disassemble this and get it

reconfigured. what's the plan here? no plans just taking a break

blocking the other camera while we're at this replace this black hardware with the

silver hardware because it is pretty

next we installed the aluminum cross beams we cut for the shelf I know that

we're going to eventually want to put cross beams right here I'm going to go

ahead and pre install this little guy so that when we get that point we won't

have to insert a new bracket there and these aluminum pieces are the ones we

cut that are going to go here yes another thing that we can pre prep are

the supports to put these in right here so that when we set that beam down we

already have this in place to catch it.

nice now we're gonna set the shelf here oh it fits perfectly

oh man it's too high it's kind of hard to know until we get the monitor arm on it

especially because like it can adjust up and down I think um do we want to do the

brackets before we try the monitor head the brackets right so one thing about

this desk because the wood parts are floating right now meaning we can easily

scooch them around and we don't really want that so we are going to 3d print

some brackets to help us hold them in place yeah. Queue 3d printer.

all right now when we put the shelf

here we'll have an attachment point to mount it securely

let's what would be the right word dress it

Is that how low you sit? No I sit like this. Let's lower that real quick.

so a shared desk may not be everyone's dream desk but it's amazing because we

love working together and one of the reasons what we can work together is

because of our patreon supporters so we wanted to say thank you so much if you

want to support us we share exclusive video content we do Google Hangouts and

show sneak peeks and behind-the-scenes stuff and you can find that at

patreon dot com slash Evan and Katelyn I don't know why we're doing this

so we really love how our new desk setup turned out and even more I think we love

that we didn't have to build an entirely new desk and we were just able

to change the one we had which is really cool

I'm also really excited to add accessories to the framing of this we

already have some cable organization going on and I'm thinking about adding

some snap in 3d printed containers or other organization bits so if you guys

have any ideas for cool stuff like that let us know in the comments below

because it'd be great for us or anyone else who's tackling this project in the

future thanks for joining us see you next time I it looks like our saws like

an old man without teeth will put his dentures back in soon. come here and hug your grandpa. no grandpa you're scary!

so cold it's so cold it's like 40

for all of the young kids in generation to get off he's got an app let me

download the app definitely recommend it to him and see what he says what he says

about it he was thinking about that the help too

well master of course and he was here thinking yes

to improve the development of the website okay so now you really has a lot

of visit every month and the good thing is he is improving and getting to is

getting better and better it has good progression is killed even

it slow it slowly as long as it's going up that's all that matters you know I

he's gonna be big that website is gonna be even bigger than what it is yes

progression start slowly it doesn't it doesn't go boom

slowly slowly and all of a sudden all the way up there that's it where's the

bit on this right there let's go back on the segue in the front yeah okay get it

Adorable moment Prince Harry tells a group of children to hug Meghan Prince Harry 33 and Meghan - Duration: 5:21.

Prince Harry, 33, and Meghan Markle, 36, visited Cardiff, Wales, for their third public engagement together

The US-born actress proved to be a hit with Welsh fans queuing from 6am to meet the loved-up couple

Besotted Harry made a promise to his bride-to-be to visit cities across the UK before their wedding in May

Prince Harry's bride-to-be got the seal of approval from Welsh fans after being swamped by adoring schoolchildren and supporters during her first trip to country's capital

The loved-up pair arrived at Cardiff Castle on Thursday morning to a crowd of screaming fans as they embarked on their third public engagement ahead of their wedding in May

Meghan was overheard telling supporters she was a 'super lucky woman' and even joked with two fans that the Welsh city would be a 'fun' location for a hen party

The US-born actress appeared to break tradition by signing an autograph for one overjoyed schoolgirl and posing for a picture with a sixth form student.

Meghan-mania reached fever pitch by the time Miss Markle and her besotted prince arrived at Star Hub community leisure centre in the economically-deprived area of Tremorfa in the afternoon

Miss Markle, 36, was quickly surrounded by youngsters desperate to meet her as her red-headed fiancee cheekily encouraged pupils by saying: 'Let's all give Meghan a group hug!'.

The heartwarming moment came just 24 hours after Miss Markle's future sister in law the Duchess of Cambridge cuddled pupils during a visit in south west London

Harry and Meghan were as at ease hugging and conversing with the youngsters as Kate was a day earlier, paying particular interest in the work of StreetGames, a project coordinated at the Tremorfa-based centre

The prince has worked with the group previously

Their aim to make sport accessible to all young people, regardless of their social circumstances.

The couple were met by hoards of screaming crowds - which the Prince shook his head in shock on hearing.

Inside they had a brief private meeting before going into the gym where a group of local schoolgirls from the UsGirls project, set up to encourage women to take part in sport, are on exercise bikes.

'How long have you been peddling? ' Harry asked the girls who had been forced to peddle for several minutes while waiting for their arrival.

'And yet you are all still smiling,' said Meghan, who introduced herself to each and every one of them by name.

'How much better is it to come here each evening instead of sitting at home playing on the Play Station,' she added.

Afterwards Mary Coffey, 13, from Willow High School said: 'She was amazing, so easy to talk to

And so beautiful! There was a glow about her

And her teeth! I can't believe I was talking to someone who lives in Buckingham Palace

The couple then went into see a group of youngsters playing table tennis.

Meghan was given two bouquets of flowers by Kaiden Williams, ten.

'For me?' She said, 'How thoughtful of you

I love them. She also couldn't resist playing a game of Jenga - balancing wooden blocks on top of each other - with Kevin Chiduau, 12.

'I love this game!' She said, 'you need so much patience for it, it teaches you patience too.'

Clutching her throat she her hand she added: 'It makes me so nervous just watching it!'

The photograph that ALMOST broke royal protocol: Meghan makes schoolgirl's day after agreeing to a snap

Sixthformer Amy Thomas, 18, is believed to be one of the only people who managed to persuade Meghan Markle to pose for a picture during her visit to Cardiff

Ordinarily royals are warned off selfies as they are frowned upon by the Queen

In Nottingham, Miss Markle explained to a disappointed couple who asked for a picture: 'We're not allowed to take them'.

But it seems the American princess made an exception for 18-year-old Amy this morning

Amy asked for a selfie but handed her camera to Mum Michelle who took the shot
