Youtube daily report Apr 26 2018

Hey what's up everybody, today I ran across some interesting news while doing my daily

perusing of Kotaku's content.

Gita Jackson did a feature on an upcoming Battle Royale board game going live on kickstarter

May 1st called Last One Standing.

I am a huge fan of both of the Battle Royale genre and board games so this is something

that has really peaked my interest and I thought I would share it with my community.

Now this is not sponsored content but full disclosure I am most definitely kickstarting

this once it goes live.

From what I have researched Last One Standing has been influenced by Fortnite and PUBG and

will have many of the battle royale elements incorporated into it that we have come to

know and love.

There will be supply drops, a shrinking map, finding loot, equipping and using a variety

of items, eliminating your opponents and taking the loot they gathered, and of course decimating

the opposition till you're the last one remaining.

The game will be up to 8 players and is designed to be a faster pace board game compared to

other board games with the same player count.

That way if you die early on you won't be stuck waiting for long.

Alright everybody that's going to wrap up the video, please let me know in the comments

what are your thoughts on Battle Royale making its way to board games?

I would love to hear from those interested in battle royale and board game lovers alive.

I have also included all the sources I have looked into and/or used for this video in

the description if you would like to check those out yourself.

This isn't 100 people dropping out of a vehicle in the sky but this seems like it

could be fun.

As always good luck, and I will catch you all later.

What Inspired J.Cole's Alter Ego, kiLL edward On 'KOD'? | Genius News - Duration: 3:04.

LETTY: On his new album, 'KOD,' J. Cole introduces kiLL edward.

What was first assumed to be a feature turned out to be J. Cole himself as his alter-ego.

Prior to 'KOD's' release, a song called "Tidal Wave - just a little reference,"

appeared on Spotify.

That when pitched up, shows it's actually Cole's vocals.

LETTY: The message behind 'KOD' seems to be that we all go through pain,

and it's up to us to "choose wisely" in how we cope.

kiLL edward seems to represent the part of Cole that hasn't always dealt with pain correctly.

LETTY: So, what's behind the moniker?

Cole's brother Zach may have provided that answer while reviewing 'KOD.'

ZACH: Our ex stepdad's name was Edward.

REVIEWER: Oh for real?

ZACH: So I dunno if that's got anything to do with it but yeah.

LETTY: Turns out it might have much to do with it.

On the album, Cole details his mother's alcohol and drug abuse as it relates to his

stepfather's infidelity, and later mentions how he'd like to kill the person

who's hurt his mother.

Cole's been open about his stepfather's missteps and the pain it's caused his family before.

On his 2013 'Truly Yours' EP, Jermaine writes somewhat of an open letter to Edward.

On his sophomore album, 'Born Sinner,' Cole jokingly ponders how he'd feel

if his ex-stepfather passed away.

LETTY: And his '2014 Forest Hills Drive' album was named after his childhood home,

which the family lost, thanks to his stepdad's transgressions.

COMBAT JACK: In an indirect sense your stepfather caused this album to happen?

J. COLE: Yeah he did.

COMBAT JACK: Let's talk about that, man.

J. COLE: About a month into college, I get a call from my mom.

So she just got the news right there that A. the mortgage payments haven't been made

and B. she knows that her relationship is over.

LETTY: Add this all up and it seems like kiLL edward is Cole's worst way to cope, personified.

I'm Letty for Genius News, bringing you meaning and the knowledge behind the music.

Stock Car [3rd round 2018] – Race 2 Velopark - Duration: 2:41.

Hey, what's up? We will show now the best moments

of race 2 of the 3rd round of 2018 Stock Car Brazil at Velopark.

The race began with the grid inverted, with Allam Khodair, 10th in the first race,

on the pole, followed by Marcos Gomes, Daniel Serra and Gabriel Casagrande.

Confusion in the back, with Vitor Genz stopping across the lane.

Already in the second lap, Daniel Serra, devilish, ignored Marquinhos Gomes.

The safety car came after the displacement of the safety barrier,

result of this contact between Julio Campos and Sergio Jimenez.

The two continued in the race.

On the sixth lap, Serra left Khodair behind and took over the lead for good.

Khodair, already in third, was surpassed first by Gabriel Casagrande ... and then by Felipe Fraga.

Tuka Rocha hit Felipe Lapenna and Nelsinho Piquet couldn't avoid the barrier.

Already after the stops in the pits, Rubinho Barrichello gave this touch in Valdeno Brito.

Barrichello finished ninth.

Daniel Serra has never been contested and got his second victory this year,

followed by Marcos Gomes, Julio Campos, Átila Abreu and Felipe Fraga.

After 3 rounds, the current champion leads the championship with 80 points,

15 ahead of Cacá Bueno.

The two are followed by Felipe Fraga, Julio Campos and Ricardo Zonta.

That's it. Next race will be in Londrina.

Comments and suggestions on how we can improve the channel are always welcome!

And do not forget, the place to race is on the track.

Thank you guys!!!

Stock Car Brazil [3rd round 2018] - Race 1 Velopark - Duration: 2:46.

Hey, what's up? Here is Sergio Lago. We will show the best moments of race 1

of the 3rd round of Stock Car Brazil at Velopark. Before, if you are not yet a subscriber,

you are invited to sign up the channel and press the bell. This will let you know

when we release a new video.

But let's get down to business!

Cacá Bueno started on pole,

followed on the grid by Allam Khodair, Lucas Foresti and Ricardo Zonta.

At the start, Cacá did not give a chance to anyone who was behind.

On the third lap, Lucas Foresti hit the push to pass and left Allam Khodair behind.

Here is a nice duel between Sergio Jimenez in 55 and Felipe Fraga in 88.

Lucas de Grassi had to go earlier to the shower after hitting the wall

on the 11th lap. The pilot said he had a loose wheel.

Pit road was busy during the pit stop window.

Ricardo Zonta had a good strategy and advanced to P2.

Among the top 10, Gabriel Casagrande and Allan Khodair gave their own show.

In the end, Zonta stuck to Cacá Bueno, but the Cimed driver

showed why he owns 5 titles.

Julio Campos finished in third, Felipe Fraga in fourth

and Ricardo Maurício closed the Top 5.

Relief for Cacá, who was 55 races without a win.

Also a deserved celebration for the driver,

who looks strong to fight for his sixth title this year.

That's it. Comments and suggestions on how we can improve are always welcome!

If want to subscribe, just click on the "S" here on the side

and then activate the bell to be notified.

And do not forget, the place to run is on the track. Thank you guys!!!

Do Essential Oils Really Work? And Why? - Duration: 4:47.

When you come home at the end of a long day,

you might unwind with a lavender bubble bath.

Or maybe you light a zesty orange candle as part of your study ritual.

These habits fall under the umbrella of aromatherapy:

the idea that smelling so-called "essential oils"

can change your mood or even have healing effects.

It might all sound like pseudoscience,

but there have been many studies showing that fragrant essential oils

can make you feel more positive, relaxed, or even feel less pain.

But, and I'm sure you were waiting for me to say it,

it might not only be the oils.

There may also be other ways of explaining these effects, too.

Despite their name, essential oils aren't actually essential

at least, not for your body.

Instead, they're found in the bodies of plants,

where they're sometimes used for protection.

These oils are complex mixtures of dozens of different compounds

that are super small and light.

So unlike other smelly things,

they can easily float up and into your nose.

Most of these compounds are either terpenes,

which are made of chains of carbon and hydrogen atoms,

or aromatic compounds,

which are carbons and hydrogens arranged in a flat ring.

Mixtures of these chemicals will form

anything from peppermint oil to lavender oil.

Then, they're put in candles, lotions, and all sorts of products

that can supposedly help you focus or relax.

Now, it is worth mentioning that some people claim aromatherapy

can treat clinical anxiety, depression, or cancer.

But there are few, if any, rigorous studies showing that the oils alone

can do those things, no matter what the people selling them advertise.

But, when it comes to relaxation or focus,

those effects don't seem to just be marketing.

Tons of studies have shown that all those compounds

reaching your nose really can change how you feel.

For example, a 2005 study

published in the Journal of Physiology and Behaviour

looked at how 220 patients waiting in a dentist's office

responded to orange or lavender scents.

The patients either smelled those fragrances wafting around the waiting room,

heard some cheerful music, or neither.

They were also handed questionnaires to fill in while they waited,

which were surveys about things like pain, anxiety, and mood.

Those who smelled either orange or lavender said they felt less anxious,

more positive, and calmer compared to others who didn't get the scents

or who listened to music.

And there are literally hundreds of other papers

showing similar results from other experiments.

But even with all those studies,

it's still not clear if the essential oils alone are really responsible

for those changes -- or, if they are, how they work.

There are some studies in rat brains that suggest essential oils

could boost feel-good neurotransmitters in your brain,

like dopamine and serotonin.

Or they could dampen

the autonomic nervous system, which controls your heart rate and breathing.

But why they'd do this isn't as obvious.

As far as we can tell, there's no specific pathway that's triggered when

these terpenes or aromatic molecules bind to the receptors in your nose.

Instead, it's more likely that essential oils work for psychological reasons.

But, maybe unsurprisingly, figuring out what those reasons

are isn't a walk in the park, either.

The research in this field hasn't exactly been bulletproof,

and there are a ton of confounding variables most studies

haven't been designed to account for.

For example, it's possible that the situation or ritual around inhaling

the scent could be more important than the smell itself.

One 2006 study showed that new mothers given lavender

or citrus oil massages felt less anxious or tired after giving birth.

But it may not have just been the smell of the oil.

It could've also been that, well, massages are generally soothing.

Why these oils work could also just be a matter of preference

or even the placebo effect.

That's where the effect comes from

your beliefs and not from the properties or chemistry of the treatment.

Or it could be a combination of these things.

Right now, the reasons are really hard to pin down because there are

some major scientific issues with how many of these studies were done.

The biggest, is that few of them are controlled and double blind.

A controlled study compares the test situation to something neutral

basically to see if the experimental conditions have any effect.

And in a double blind study, neither the participants nor the experimenters

know who's being tested with what.

This helps prevent bias.

Another problem is that these studies also often ask people to rate their

feelings using a questionnaire.

And the questions on these surveys can sometimes skew the results.

In that dentist study, for example, patients were asked to rate

how calm they felt -- not how they felt in general.

By giving study subjects options for their feelings

rather than leaving the question open,

that could have made people seem calmer than they actually were.

When it comes to scientific evidence,

it's not always about the overall number of studies.

If those studies aren't well-designed, the results won't be conclusive.

So to really understand how essential oils affect us

and why they cause the feelings they do,

it would help to have more rigorous research.

But while scientists are working on that,

all of this doesn't mean that it's time to throw out your relaxing bath bombs

or perfume diffusers.

There is plenty of evidence that using essential oils does something

it's just not clear whether it's the oils or the experience of using them

that's really responsible for the warm and fuzzy feelings.

Thanks for watching this episode of SciShow!

If you liked exploring some of the psychology involved in essential oils,

we've got the channel for you.

Amitriptyline | What you should know - Duration: 9:36.

it's Evie :) I'm gonna try really hard to speak up more so you guys can

hear me better until I get a new microphone so if any of you know of a

good microphone then it could probably clip on here I know some of you have

mentioned I think it's called the snowball I don't know I'd love that but

when I'm kind of up and about in high places I don't know don't be able to

hook it up to the phone would be helpful and to be able to have it on my shirt

that would be great oh so I'm finally gonna do a video on

Emmet rippln I always want to say that I'm a trip

lean uh here it is if you want to watch it stay tuned cut these stink beetle

things to kind of like ladybugs they pinch will they bite but it feels like a

pinch I wanted to tell you guys after you watched my last video as I'm

recording this right now today is day four since quit smoking it's been hard

for sure it's really doing so much better than I am but we're doing it

we're not going back anyways we're gonna get in this about taking amitriptyline

yes I have taken it myself I know some people want to lose stuff when I share

medicine I haven't taken but I share because I have so many of you that want

to know and you're asking so I'm gonna do what I can help that's why I'm here

it's pronounced and the tripling it is a tricyclic I hope I'm seen that

antidepressant so it has to do with the unbalanced chemicals in your brain it's

often prescribed for someone with depression the reason why those with

fibromyalgia can find some relief in it is because those with fibril we lack

serotonin and endorphins in our brain and okay you know how if you can

remember this doing a really good hard workout you felt well enough to do it do

a really good hard workout or like when you're doing you're doing some kind of

physical activity it just feels feels good and you have a hard time stopping

which that can be a problem notice and you run into overdoing it but that's

because your releasing the the happy chemicals in

your brain those with Viper lack that when you lack

that and you don't get that feel-good feeling serotonin these things are they

play a big part in your overall and your well-being not just feeling wise but you

mean for your body to when you're lacking that can become a problem

along with fatigue not getting a sleep you guys know the drill now just like

the other medications I've shared gabapentin villarica iPhone with

amitriptyline that it goes both ways too some have really good reactions to it

and they swear that it's helped them the most out of anything else other people

say it's the devil's drug don't go near it but that's the thing everyone is so

different and I think it's so important that you at least are aware of a certain

side of and then you kind of know now quickly was with my experience with it

I didn't notice much of a change the only thing it did help me with I noticed

was my legs my legs would always wake me up in the middle and I just hurting and

hurting and it was really bad where they would start spasming we started as when

I would wake me up it was just another thing that just kept going and that did

help a lot but the reason why I myself had to get off of it was because once I

finally did get that hard slammed it was immature believe me it would actually be

hard to wake up and at the time I had to get up at 2:30 in the morning and they'd

had to I had a long drive to go to work thankfully he's not at that job anymore

but that's why I stopped taking you and I want to try to stay away from it now

but you know that's me right Sabrina says one of the worst prescriptions out

medical marijuana works best for my favor and you know that is awesome

Sabrina that that is awesome but unfortunately like they're still half

other states that it's still illegal Wisconsin being one of them so not

everyone has that option which I think everyone should have a

choice Karen says I won't take prescription

meds only natural remedies for me most prescription drugs are not good

long-term for our bodies and can be dead very addictive that is so true the

problem we have is that quite a few people like myself have gone the natural

route and have done so many different things naturally and it's not enough and

that's hard and it's so hard it took everything I had to go to the doctor and

say I can't do this on my own there's only so much pain a human being

can deal with and what your opinion is if you're able to control that with just

natural kudos to you that is awesome I wish everyone could be that way but it's

not that way it's just that I feel it's great if you can put some natural ways

into it at least that's awesome Andrea says for me I'm a tripling is like old

it saved me when I thought I was going to have to go in welfare because of

fatigue and pain this was in my early 20s I'm now 52 it put me back in the

working world for decades well I have had to increase my dose over time but I

knew I could not survive without it I was so sleep-deprived before I found

it magic I was later diagnosed with MS and most recently I have had I have some

form of inflammatory arthritis tending towards rheumatoid arthritis there's or

another arthritis it's unfortunate to hear that has not helped others thank

God it's inexpensive well for sharing on the Facebook group I did tell them that

I would share in a video and I won't go through them all because there was like

over 40 comments on this it was really good and there's bad so just got to

remember everybody is so different amitriptyline is actually been around

since like the 60s it's one of the oldest antidepressants of one of the

most calm he says do not use them at rippln if you've used the MAO inhibitor

in the past 14 days or if you've recently had a heart attack before

taking till your doctor if you've used any SSRI antidepressants

past five weeks prozac threatens olaf paxil oh i remember taking us a lot that

was horrible let your doctor know if you've got any bipolar disorder any kind

of psychosis or mental illness liver disease heart disease history of heart

attack stroke or seizures this medicine could cause seizures glaucoma or

problems with your needing look like the side effects can get pretty nasty so

that's why they'll start you out a really low dose and slowly go up you

don't want a doctor to throw you on a higher dose so watch for that

it could take about 30 days to fully get the facts there's medication so you got

to make sure to avoid ones that are similar I will have everything in the

description box below for you guys side effects will be unusual thoughts or

behavior like head feeling like you might pass out chest pain pressure pain

spreading to your jaw shoulder nauseous sweating pounding heartbeat are flowing

in your chest confusion host nations features painful or difficult urinating

several severe constipation so watch sex I know some of you have a hard time with

that already easy bruising unusual bleeding sudden weakness or ill feeling

be fair chill sore throat most lawyers are both swallowing which that's already

scary for those with MS and some with fibro especially when it comes to

feeling dizzy and nauseous appetite or weight changes urinating less unusual

itching rash which that can be more irritating because again will that with

my bro deal with that I'll have a video on that so breast swelling yeah should

be laughing I just thought was funny I'm decreased sex drive at boat nets or

difficulty have an orgasm other drugs that can affect it heart rhythm medicine

medicine to treat mental illness some of you have been around for a while you

know I love to use drugs calm for their information so like I said everything

will be down below please share your experiences down below and let others

know what it's like or how is it how is it helped you or

hurts you anything that might help someone else that's just starting yet or

something they should know I'd really appreciate that you guys you know

sharing what you know or what you've gone through it helps so much believe me

if you're new here love for you to subscribe and join your Spoony fam yeah

I hope you're doing alright if not hang in there and I will see you in the next

video yes

BEDCHILL - Kickstarter video - Duration: 4:31.

Ladies and gentlemen, hello and please sit comfortably.

Panda: "but they don't have a Bedchill yet so it might be complicated".

I'm Constant, maybe one of the most chill guys you've ever met.

After a long day, who isn't happy to settle into the most

comfortable place on earth... bed.

Bed is comfortable, but not practical as it has not changed for centuries.

Today we are more connected than ever, and it's time to give this piece of furniture

we spend so much time in an update and an upgrade.

That's why I created the Bedchill, the very first connected overbed rolling table,

so that you can enjoy your bed like never before.

Like many people I enjoy using my laptop or reading at night or on weekends.

I definitely prefer to be on my comfy bed over anywhere else.

But I could never really find a comfortable position,

or my laptop would overheat and sting my legs.

Well, since the creation of the Bedchill, I can use my laptop and read in my bed

for hours with good posture and great comfort.

The Bedchill also allows you to eat in bed without spilling everything,

making it a great place for brunch.

Thanks to the Bedchill, you can finally watch a movie comfortably.

And you can fall asleep safely.

No need to get out of your bed for anything anymore,

just relax and stay cozy under the covers!

I work mainly from home, and this project was born

on this bed, on the very first Bedchill prototype.

Yes you can work on this, and believe me you will enjoy working like never before.

The Bedchill is suitable for both small and large surfaces.

Of course you can store it at the end of the bed,

but you can also slide it away from your bed and put it anywhere in your room,

to turn the Bedchill into a table for sofas or recliners,

a connected desk, or even a console table!

The Bedchill provides 4 USB charging ports and 4 power outlets,

so that you can stay connected with ease.

And of course you can choose your plug type.

Make your bedroom brighter without having to turn on your main light

with the Bedchill's 2 LED lights.

To match the atmosphere with your mood, you can choose the color

mode, and adjust brightness thanks to the remote control.

When you watch a movie and listen to music, on your laptop or smartphone,

the sound quality isn't always great right?

You can connect your devices to the Bedchill using bluetooth,

and enjoy the amazing audio quality from the integrated stereo speakers!

The Bedchill has 2 drawers, so that you can keep everything in reach, organised and clean.

So that nothing falls on your bed, we made raised edges.

Thanks to its 4 casters, the Bedchill moves easily.

The electric cable will never bother you as it is automatically retractable.

Plug the Bedchill into your wall, and install under a bed leg the part that holds the cable.

The Bedchill legs are interchangeable, so that you can choose

which side of the bed you want the cable to be.

The height is adjustable to fit all the beds from 12 to 30 inches high.

The Bedchill is available in 3 widths, to adapt to most of beds on the market.

The Bedchill was designed to fit in any environment.

To match perfectly with the room, it's available in 4 colors.

The Bedchill is made of plywood, providing a great durability,

light weight, and is made in France.

Finally, we bring you all this extra comfort for less than the average price of a mattress.

You can help us revolutionize bedrooms in the world.

Your early support will make a big massive difference, because it will allow us to start production.

Release your inner chill person, and back us now to be the first to receive your Bedchill.

You'll be able to choose your color and power outlet type

once the campaign is funded.

Measuring vertical runout at belt pulley.

Find the lowest point (minimum) of the belt pulley

pulley and apply an indelible colour mark at this point.

. Very small values and how they affect the characteristics is not clear,

but the measurement of radial runout is in the official BMW service, so I decided to do the same.

Put the belt in place and twist it in the course of movement, that he stood in his place and leveled.

And so stretch.

Screw the tension (adjustment) screw to the desired belt tension.

In the service centers there is a special device for measuring the tension.
