A New Supernova Over Munich

On 26 April 2018, the ESO Supernova Planetarium & Visitor Centre was officially inaugurated...

The centre is located at ESO Headquarters in Garching, Germany and provides visitors with an immersive experience of astronomy.

The centre includes a state-of-the-art digital planetarium, interactive astronomical exhibitions and real astronomical artefacts.

Visitors can explore independently or take a guided tour and hear stories about ESO and astronomy along the way.

The ESO Supernova will be completely free of charge during 2018 — no excuse not to visit! :)

S. Koreans generally applaud meeting of leaders - Duration: 2:59.

Let's turn the spotlight to the general public this time.

Where they stand on the event was made clear when the two leaders from South and North

Korea met and shook hands at Panmunjom in the morning.

Thunderous applause and cheers that very moment of contact.

Won Jung-hwan zooms in on how the historic event is perceived by them.

When North Korean leader Kim Jong-un arrived at the Military Demarcation Line... between

the two blue conference buildings,... he was greeted by a smiling South Korean President

Moon Jae-in.

The historic inter-Korean summit between Moon and Kim began with a handshake at around 9:30

a.m.

This was the first time a North Korean leader has stepped on South Korean soil since the

end of the Korean War.

And that's something seen by many ordinary South Koreans with some emotion.

"I was just passing by the train station, and when I saw the crowd watching the summit

live on television,…

I was very moved."

"This is all very overwhelming.

Unlike the past inter-Korean summits,… watching the North Korean leader crossing the military

demarcation line and coming to the South -- I think that has its own significance."

Kim Jong-un was wearing a black Mao-style suit for his debut on live, international

television.

Millions of people have been watching the summit proceedings around the world, nowhere

perhaps with more interest, though, than here in South Korea.

"I am used to seeing Kim Jong-un through the pre-recorded North Korean clips.

But watching him smiling in front of the press,… it feels like he is a different person."

"For the past few years, we had his image of a cold and stubborn person.

But seeing the way he said hello to our President Moon Jae-in,… it was quite surprising."

And as the leaders entered the Peace House to start their discussions, people expressed

their wishes for a fruitful agreement.

"I hope that denuclearization talks go well through this summit, so that we can contribute

to world peace."

"As an outsider, I can't really say much about it.

But I do feel that there are definitely strong emotions about two nations wanting to come

together, because the people of the two nations in the end are one.

So I just hope for the best and that whatever resolution comes, it will be a result that

everyone will be happy with"

Under the slogan of "Peace, a new start",… they will continue their talks until this

evening when Kim Jong-un heads back North.

It's still too early to guess exactly what kind of agreement will come out of the meeting,...

though of particular interest is to what extent it'll differ from previous deals.

For now, in South Korea, public are welcoming the historic summit.

his weight and mental state, especially when it comes to Wendy Williams.

An insider says that Kim is upset over Wendy's most recent horrible comments about Kanye's weight.

She thinks Wendy is a hypocrite who is totally body–shaming Kanye.

It's sad to Kim that Wendy feels it's OK to attack Kanye's body because he is

a man.

Wendy would never do that a woman.

And, momma Kris is on the same page.

"She thinks Wendy needs to get a conscience, have some integrity.

Kim and Kris are fed up in general over Wendy's "relentless attacks" on their entire family

day in and day out.

of Yeezy, which included her dissecting a recent photo of him, blasting the rapper for

an apparent weight gain.

Wendy called Kanye a "mess" who has "fatty knock knees" and needs a "breast reduction."

She also compared him to Rob Kardashian who's been struggling with his weight for years.

The talk show host continued to slam Yeezy, admitting that she believes he has mental

health issues after his latest Twitter rants endorsing President Donald Trump.

Before Kanye, Wendy had made Kylie Jenner the center of her roasts during the Hot Topics

segment of her daytime talk show, which is why Kris has had it.

Just recently, Wendy claimed Kylie's too young to be a mother, on top of her constant

comments that Travis Scott is going to leave her and their child, Stormi Webster.

Wow, this whole thing is a mess guys.

One thing I know for sure is that if you come for the Kardashians, they will drag your name

through the mud.

As for Kanye, do you think this is all a publicity stunt for his upcoming album or is something

North Korean leader steps foot on South Korean soil for first time - Duration: 2:03.

It was a truly historic moment... that drew a thunderous response from all who watched...

when the two leaders finally met Friday for inter-Korean summit talks.

It was the first time a North Korean leader has stepped foot on South Korean soil since

the Korean War.

For the highlights from the morning session we turn to our Park Ji-won.

President Moon Jae-in greets North Korean leader Kim Jong-un at the Military Demarcation

Line at Panmunjom,... the truce village that straddles the inter-Korean border.

At 9:30 a.m., South Korea time,... the two leaders shook hands and Kim took a historic

step forward on to South Korean soil.

It was the first time a sitting North Korean leader had stepped foot on South Korean territory

in nearly 70 years.

Kim took President Moon's hand and invited him to the northern side,... and the South

Korean leader stepped over into the North.

After exchanging a few pleasantries,... Kim Jong-un was greeted by a guard of honor laid

on by the South Korean military.

President Moon told Kim if he visits Cheong Wa Dae, South Korea's presidential office,...

he could see a full guard of honor.

Kim replied that he'd visit Cheong Wa Dae anytime, if invited.

The two leaders began their summit talks from 10:15 a.m. at the Peace House in Panmunjom.

President Moon was accompanied by Presidential Chief of Staff Im Jong-seok and National Intelligence

Service Chief Suh Hoon,... while Kim Jong-un was joined by his sister Kim Yo-jong, and

North Korea's ceremonial leader Kim Yong-nam.

Their morning meeting lasted for about an hour and 40 minutes,.. wrapping up at 11:55

a.m., South Korea time,... when the two sides broke for lunch.

Kim Jong-un and the other North Korean delegates headed back to the North Korean side for a

bite to eat,... bringing a successful end to the morning session of the historic summit.
