Amazing Ball Bearing Motor - Huber Effect. Part 3 - Duration: 3:02.
Hello friends!
This video shows another engine operating under the Huber effect.
In the description of the clip there are links to the video where tests of similar motors are shown.
Unlike the previous engine, this motor has a coaxial arrangement of ball bearings
and a shaft made of non-magnetic material.
This motor does not contain any coils or magnets, yet it spins pretty fast.
It is believed that the instantaneous thermal expansion at the points of contact between the balls and the race gives torque to the balls.
But some scientists dispute this hypothesis.
During engine operation, the following parameters were obtained: the current consumed by the motor and the voltage drop across the motor.
To measure the current consumed was used a handmade shunt, assembled from ten resistors of 5 watts.
These data allowed calculating the power consumption, which was about 40 watts.
See you on the channel!

English Tutor Nick P Verb Phrase (47) Slack Off - Duration: 2:13.
Hi this is Tutor Nick P and this is Verb Phrase 47. The verb phrase today is to slack off. Okay. Let's take a look at the note. If
someone slacks off they make less effort than usual or they start to behave in a lazy way. especially at work or a
student with his studies at school. So it could be used for two different
situations. It could be used for employees in the office or at work or it could be
used for students in school. Now in school, if you like referred to a student
as a slacker, or you said a student was slacking off, It would be the type of student, not a
student that, that's slow , but a student that you know, if a student doesn't have
ability to learn quickly , but he's really trying hard
you wouldn't call him a slacker. You wouldn't say he is slacking off. But if you
have a student who you know is smart and could learn , but has a bad attitude and
it's just lazy. Then the teacher might refer to him as a slacker or saying that
he is slacking off. Okay. Let's , let's continue. Example number one. When the
boss leaves the office , you can clearly see many of his employees are slacking
off. Yeah. You know, we, we joke about this. Sometimes you know, if the boss leaves
and then you know everybody relaxes . They take it easy.
They're not really working as hard. When you know, the boss is not looking over
their shoulder, let's say. Okay number two. Ever since, Jeff didn't get the promotion
he wanted, he started to lose enthusiasm for his job. So maybe he used
to be a very hard worker or a good worker. But maybe you know, maybe he's a
little disgruntled now. He's very, he's unhappy at work. So he really started
slacking off. So maybe his attitude is starting to change and he doesn't feel
like he needs to work hard. Why should I work so hard ? So maybe he's starting to slack off. Okay.
Anyway, I hope you got it. I hope it's clear. Thank you for your time. Bye-bye.

Samsung Galaxy Note 9 - Here's How The S Pen Will Work - Duration: 3:04.
We're still a few weeks away from the August 9th unveiling for the Galaxy Note 9, but details
have been leaking out about the S Pen which is seeing its biggest upgrade ever.
Ice universe tweeted out this today that the charging of the S Pen on the Note 9 is an
incredible thing and we will be surprised.
What could it be?
I mean, i actually don't think i'd be surprised if it turns out to be wirelessly charging
within the Note.
Is it considered surprising because it hasn't been done before?
I don't know what surprising way they could come up with.
It could be metal contacts on the pen.
Charging inside the phone is simply more effective and practical...
And I think that would involve metal contacts on the pen that charge it.
Luckily we have some furthur information on this which is coming from a reddit user Note4throwaway.
He leaked a lot of info in the past and almost all of them were spot on.
So he says and I quote, It takes 40 seconds to charge.
The battery lasts about 200 clicks between charges and uses non lithium battery.
Charges while in the phone.
It functions as a camera shutter from up to about 60 feet away and can be mapped to other
features such as launching a specific application for both short and long pressing.
Also the always on display text is yellow if you buy the blue Note with the yellow pen
which should be available with black in every country the phone is sold in.
Uses BT low energy and doesn't show up in the Bluetooth menu. it just pairs when the
pen is inserted.
So the main giveaway from his post is that, the pen will charge inside the phone itself
which is cool.
It's gonna take only 40 seconds to charge and lasts about 200 clicks.
I hope that's enough of a battery life.
I mean it would get really annoying to put the S Pen back in the socket to charge it
especially if you're in the middle of doing something with the pen.
The most interesting part of this post is that he claims the button on the S Pen is
remappable which is really cool because you can theorotically use the button for any app.
Finally I'm glad that there will be a black S Pen too.
It would really suck if they've put the yellow S Pen in the midnight black color variant
as well.
He also said something about the storage variants.
The base variant is gonna be 128GB which we already know.
He says and I quote I don't know which countries will sell it but there will be another version
with more (512) storage and 8GB of RAM too around launch time frame but the carriers,
at least the main ones in the US, will not be taking it.
If I were to guess the 8GB RAM and 512GB storage variant is gonna be limited to China, South
Korea and probably India.
So that being said, let me know what do you think about this down in the comments and
I'll see you'll tomorrow...Peace out!

Update: Going Full Time - Duration: 2:43.
hey, welcome to 12tone! we need your help.
today is this channel's third birthday, and this last year has been a wild ride.
we've grown larger than I ever thought we would've, I've been invited to speak at academic
conferences, and I even got to share a stage with John Green at VidCon.
but most important of all, near the end of last year I took a leap of faith and quit
my teaching job to focus on making videos full-time, and I think that decision has paid
off: our videos have gotten longer and more in-depth, and we've been able to look at more
complex topics because I've had the time to research them.
the downside, though, is that these videos are now my only source of income, and you'd
be surprised how little google pays, even for hundreds of thousands of views per month.
I've been able to make it work, sort of, but I don't really know how long this is sustainable,
and that's where you come in.
we've had a patreon for a long time, but because I had other income it wasn't really a huge
deal.
but that's changed: if I'm gonna be able to make this full-time thing work, then patreon
is gonna be a crucial part of that, so if you can afford it I would really appreciate
any support you can throw our way.
for those of you who don't know, Patreon is a crowdfunding site, sort of like Kickstarter
but for ongoing projects.
you pledge a certain amount per month, and in exchange get perks like thanks in video
descriptions, sneak peeks of upcoming episodes, and the ability to suggest songs for our analysis
videos.
plus, we've recently revamped some of the higher tiers, including introducing an elephant
of the month club where we'll literally mail you a hand-drawn elephant every single month.
but most important of all, it's a way to help me afford to keep making this videos at the
pace and quality that I have been for the last three years.
to be clear, I'm not threatening to quit here: I made these videos for years basically for
free, and if necessary I'll keep doing that.
I love making them, and I have no intention of stopping.
but the demand it puts on my time keeps growing, and at some point this full-time experiment
is gonna have to end unless I can actually support myself with it.
all that said, I want to be very clear on one more thing: you don't owe me that support.
I'm deeply grateful for anything you're willing to pledge, but if you're not sure you can
afford it, or you just don't want to, that's totally fine.
the existence of free educational materials is really important to me, so I decided from
the very beginning to make all my work freely available, so that anyone who wanted to could
access it, and even if you don't pledge anything you can still help out just by watching and
sharing our work.
but the flip side of that is that, hopefully, people who see enough value in it and have
a couple bucks to spare will voluntarily donate so that we can keep making stuff forever,
because I really, really want to keep making stuff forever.
seriously, I can't believe I get to do this.
it's surreal.
anyway, thanks for watching, and I promise these sorts of pledge drive videos won't become
a regular feature of the channel.
there's a link to our patreon in the description if you want to check it out, though, and as
always, keep on rockin'.

Separating the Ego from your Higher Self - Clairaudience and Clairvoyance - Develop Intuition Part 2 - Duration: 10:16.
Separating the ego from your higher self, clairvoyance, clairaudience.
Welcome back to Become a Better you by Skeed. We talked in the previous video,
about intuition and today we are going to talk about continuing on Clear
vision, clairvoyance and Clairaudience. These are the senses of vision and
obviously hearing. When we are talking about intuition we have to talk about the
difference between ego and higher self... To be able to distinguish what is intuition
it is sort of like a message from your higher self. I just want to apologize if
your own background noise because that's my dog next to make wandering around. We
have to talk about these differences you have your ego and if it's vision is
going to be giving you lots of these images videos playing. If it's your
hearing, its gonna be talking to you all the time and same with the other senses... So
how do we distinguish between the two the ego is non-stop chatter, whether it's
auditory chatter whether it is a visual chatter.... it's lots of rules... possible
things going on in the future.... memories of the past....
lots of controlling features in it. For the hearing it's very clear between
the two because if it's an intuitive thought you're not gonna get: needs, musts,
buts, nots... it's gonna be sort of positive, it's all gonna be positive
language. If it's a vision again, it's going to be a very clear picture a very
clear message the image will be crystal clear it might be slightly translucent
but it'll be clear. Another thing you have to remember with these intuitive
messages is they can quite likely only happens once. Unless you ask for it to be
repeated which may or may not be repeated. You've got to be paying
attention, you've got to be in a mindful state, you have to be paying attention, you
have to be in it highly concentrated state, I talk about how to concentrate
in another video, look it up, improve your concentration which is a passive state
not an active state. So we have to be mindful we have to be in this passive
concentrated state and when we pick up these messages you have to jump on them
and react to them and ask questions for more information. So the vision, where are
we gonna find it? Right you could be if you're a visual person and even if
you're not a visual person you're still going to have this sense developed just
not as much and you want to develop all of these. The vision you will either be a
still picture person, a movie picture person or combination of two and you'll
either be a one screen person or a multi screen person. You know which you are if
you think about it. Where are we going to see these images? They're going to be
frontal cortex, front of your head, in there. there will be screen, many screens
it could be like a 3d screen and they're gonna be there. How did we distinguish
the ego images from the non ego images? As I said it's gonna be crystal clear,
it's gonna be subtle, it should be lit either very brightly and very bright
colors or perhaps it'll be very clear but in black and white or for example if
you are the type of person that loves let's say that sepia color...
photography... it could be in that. It'll give it to you in a very appealing way
to you. So if you're used to seeing multi images and they're all in color and you
suddenly get this black and white image. Pay attention to it. See what it is.
As I said... it's here. If it's the hearing, then it's gonna be but 2/3 of the way
back above your ears and below your temples... In there.
We all have or most of us have, not all of us have it, some ADHDers don't have it,
This... these inner voices in our head this inner chatter auditory digital, our ego
our programming talking to us, the whole time that's not what we're looking for.
It's gonna be as I said, this voice it will most likely be very softly spoken
it will speak in a positive language, it won't use controlling language, must, but,
need... as I said and highly likely it says it only once.
If you capture it you can ask for them to repeat it. They may repeat it, they may
not. I say they.... you!
If they don't, if you don't repeat it to yourself. If the intuition isn't
repeated to you... just try and concentrate you can see if you can remember what
they said or what you saw. With intuition when you're first starting out with it
you do have to grab onto it. They can come and go in the fleeting seconds and
it's gone, if you don't react to it. The more you react to it the more it's going
to happen. So with clear vision, as I said it's
gonna be in there how do you develop it by paying
attention to what you see... to these images that are just slightly different...
as I said it could be crystal clear bright color and slightly translucent.... it
could have a slight sort of mist over it.... it could be if you see in color it could
be black and white or sepia or..... just pay attention to them... notice those
ones that are just that little bit different. If you have multi screens and
you have multi screens in three dimensions then it could be that, that
voice chooses... I say voice I'm not talking about auditory voice... but that
higher voice chooses to give you that image in a certain area. So that might be
further back and up and to the right or it could be slap-bang, absolutely dead
center when most things are sort of around. It depends of the type of visual
person you are. With the auditory again you have your
ego voice, at the beginning you're gonna notice a very big difference between
your ego voice and your intuitive voice. They're gonna sound different. They're gonna...
it's just gonna be it like a sort of different voice in your head. It might
have the same tone but it might be a slightly different
pitch or it might have the same pitch in a slightly different tone. It could be a
completely different voice.
Pay attention to these ones that are different and grab on to them.
If you know how to meditate and you know how to quiet in your mind it's going to
be very powerful for any of these intuitive senses because you'll be able
to think which distinguish them clearly. As you develop these skills you're also
going to find that the lines blur and whether it's a voice whether it's a
vision... your ego is going to realize that it's got competition and your controller
voice is going to fight back.
And then it can become harder... your mind can play tricks on you so your ego can
project to such a point that it sounds like the other voice and then it's going
to take experience to know which is which... and a lot of the time
it's not even experience. It's literally hearing and thinking or seeing those two
variant images and processing them and be able to think hang on this one
that's my ego... that's my programming though have my entire life....
that's judgmental... that's got biased...that one doesn't!
That's how you'll later on be able to tell them apart. Okay so that is the
clear vision and that is the clear audience. I'm gonna do the others, I'm
gonna finish these in another video because this one's running a bit long. I
try and keep my videos as short as possible. So please like, please share,
please practice in any dead time you've got... standing in a queue... you're driving not
while you're driving but maybe you're stopped at a traffic light.... sitting on a
train, you're watching television and adverts come on in you're, you're not
grabbing you're.... instead of grabbing your phone... you go in ...chatting on Facebook... in
those adverts. Stop and just have a little practice, lying in bed first thing
in the morning, last thing at night before you sort of go to sleep, when you
get into bed, whilst you're brushing your teeth, sitting on the toilet, practice all
these things. Okay like, subscribe, share and I'll continue in another video.

And leave this burning ride
I know we should pull aside
On flat tires in my mind
You make me drink and drive
Love, love
Love, love
Our crooked loveÊ
Our crooked loveÊ
And leave this burning ride
I know we should pull aside
On flat tires in my mind
You make me drink and drive
You're the heaven that never lasts
You're the poison that's in my glass
Yeah you had it too
Think you had it too
Whatever thing it was
Like I'm damaged goods
Like I'm damaged goods
Maybe I come across
Our crooked loveÊ
Our crooked loveÊ
And leave this burning ride
I know we should pull aside
On flat tires in my mind
You make me drink and drive
You're the heaven that never lasts
You're the poison that's in my glass
but I know inside
Try to justify it
Checking out from the scene
gotta get out now
I should get up now
Waking up in your sheets

She Uses Ice Cubes To Get Rid Of Wrinkles. Her Method Is Truly Crafty - Duration: 2:20.
She Uses Ice Cubes To Get Rid Of Wrinkles.
Her Method Is Truly Crafty.
you'd be hard-pressed to find someone that enjoys doing laundry.
So, when we saw this simple tip on how to make that famously boring chore easier - we
knew we had to share it with you!
I can't even begin to tell you how many meetings, interviews and dates I've been late to because
of a wrinkled shirt.
It always seems to be the same scenario, too...
There I am, fresh out of the shower, thinking I have all the time in the world to get ready.
After some pointless putzing around in the bathroom, I exit - only to be sent into a
panic when I notice I have but a few minutes left to get ready.
"Thankfully" I already envisioned what I was going to wear during my previous post-shower
meandering, so I start my routine search for this specific shirt amongst piles of discarded
shirts.
After some hurried exploring, I finally find the aforementioned piece of clothing, only
to discover it is more wrinkle than shirt.
Not wanting to look like a disheveled miscreant, my only option left is to whip out that creaky,
old ironing board and get to work.
Needless to say, once my shirt is deemed ready for the public, it's already too late and
I wind up being tardy every single time.
However, now that I know a few strategic ice cubes can alleviate my wrinkled issues, all
I need to do now is make sure my ice tray is constantly filled.
I can't wait to start implementing this useful trick into my actual life!
How did you feel about this video?
Have you already heard about this little trick?
Do you have an even better technique?
Please share your thoughts, feelings and opinions with us in the comment section

Litografia Jana Stanisławskiego z 1901 r., zatytułowana „Villa d'Este" (w Tivoli) - Duration: 1:38.
We present the litoraph of Jan Stanisławski from 1901,
entitled 'Villa d'Este' (in Tivoli).
Stanisławski (1860-1907) he was a painter,
a leading representative of symbolism in Polish landscape painting.
He started learning in a different field on m
- studied mathematics in Warsaw and St. Petersburg.
Eventually, he devoted himself to painting (malarstwo in polish),
which he learned with Wojciech Gerson in Warsaw
and Władysław Łuszczkiewicz at the School of Fine Arts in Krakow.
Finally, in Paris, he came across impressionism.
In 1897, he was among the founding members of the Society of Polish Artists "Sztuka",
a grouping of outstanding Polish creators of the three partitions
and representing Polish art as part of the international exhibition movement.
He is considered to be the creator "Cracow's landscape school".
He was a master in the field of creating moody and symbolic landscapes.
Zenon Przesmycki claimed that Stanisławski's small pictures become large windows to nature.
No wonder he was called a great painter of small formats.
Only truth.
Lithography from 1901 was an insert to the most beautiful cultural magazine
in Polish history - "Chimera" (vol. IV z.10 / 12),
the editor-in-chief of which I have just quoted the opinion.

Montreal Heart Institute - Modular Emergency Building Project - Duration: 2:11.
The ICM Project is a 42-unit, two-storey modular building,
built on driven piles and screw piles.
The bottom floor is the temporary emergency facilities,
along with external care.
And the second floor is consultation for the public with doctors,
and the other wing is for doctor's offices and general administration.
ATCO's work was professional,
very professional even, throughout the entire process.
We appreciated the availability and professionalism
of the people who were involved in the project
and who helped us throughout the duration of the work.
Some of the challenges we encountered, first of all,
we had to install a modular complex
to fit up to an existing pre-built elevator building.
Also being on a busy street, just bringing in the 42 units,
2 or 3 units at a time with a flatbed,
cutting off traffic, just to back them up underneath the power lines,
that was a bit of a challenge.
During the process, ATCO's response times were quick,
and they were present and available for all of our questions and comments.
It's quieter, much quieter, less noise.
The ER waiting room is brightly lit.
Our patients are calmer, much calmer.
The other nice thing is that we face the ER entrance
and we can see the ambulance arrive, unlike before.
It went well. When we had problems, we called you
and they got solved pretty quickly.

The Haddon Matrix - Ep. 45 - Duration: 4:22.
In today's episode, I'm going to look at a framework from the injury prevention literature
and apply it to how a software team prevents and deals with an outage.
Think about the inventions and innovations that make bad or dangerous behavior impossible
or nearly so: medicine bottles with childproof caps, cars that won't shift out of park unless
your foot is on the brake.
These innovations were created for injury prevention.
To minimize the risk of bad outcomes, experts in injury-prevention rely on a framework called
the Haddon Matrix.
This framework provides a way to think about accidents by allowing you to focus on three
periods of time: pre-event, event, and post-event.
The Haddon Matrix is also useful for thinking about preventing, handling, and recovering
from other types of situations that aren't necessarily life-threatening.
For example, a software team that owns a web service may want to think through the kinds
of problems that could take their service off-line and what they'd do about it.
Step 1: Think about the pre-event.
What are some reasons the site could go down and what could we have done to prevent
them?
The team may have pushed a bad code change.
The physical hardware their service was running on failed.
Or maybe the system became overloaded with unanticipated demand.
We could prevent most bad code changes through code review or pairing, having automated tests,
eliminating any manual steps from deployment so that deployment is safe and repeatable,
and having strong monitoring in place to catch problems before they affect customers and
automatically roll them back.
We could prevent physical hardware failures from affecting customers through redundancy.
We could have a second host in a different region with an automatic fast failover mechanism.
We could avoid failing under greater load by buying more hardware resources than we
currently need, or better yet, through the use of elastic cloud computing resources.
We could also load test our software before we release it.
Step 2: Think about the event.
What could we do in the moment to minimize the damage?
In the case of a site outage due to bad code change, we could make it easy to do a manual
rollback.
For hardware failure, as in the prevention case, we could have a second system to manually
fail-over to in the moment.
In the face of demand exceeding capacity, having a way to scale up resources on demand
would help.
In all three cases, having monitoring and logging that helps you find the cause of the
outage is critical, as is having runlists or standard operating procedures for dealing
with these kinds of outages in a calm manner that doesn't put things in an even worse state.
A critical part of these is having a proper on call rotation with well-trained operations
people.
Step 3: Think about the post-event.
This may be about having a mechanism in place to ensure it doesn't repeat, such as having
an event post-mortem as part of your process and taking action on the lessons that come
out of the post-mortem.
Thinking about the post-event scenarios may also help focus on the cost to the company
of losing customer trust and potentially having to compensate customers for the downtime.
An honest assessment of the costs and risks may help with prioritizing some event and
pre-event activities like investing in redundant hardware, or monitoring, or a continuous delivery
system.
The beauty of the Haddon Matrix is that it helps you think of environmental solutions
rather than relying exclusively on carrots and sticks.
In this exercise, we created a robust plan against site outages without thinking about
the team's Riders and Elephants.
We simply tweaked the environment to help make the negative outcome less likely.

This Senior Citizen Has A "Senior Moment" And Comes To A Hilarious Realisation
Every now and again someone puts into words what so many people are feeling!
Read this amazing email and let us know if you can relate.
Recently, I was diagnosed with A.A.A.D.D.
– Age Activated Attention Deficit Disorder.
This is how it manifests: I decide to water my garden.
As I turn on the hose in the driveway, I look over at my car and decide it needs
washing.
As I start toward the garage, I notice mail on the porch table that
I brought up from the mailbox earlier.
I decide to go through the mail before I wash the car.
I lay my car keys on the table, put the junk mail in the garbage can under
the table, and notice that the can is full.
So, I decide to put the bills back
on the table and take out the garbage first.
But then I think, since I'm going to be near the mailbox
when I take out the garbage anyway, I may as well pay the bills first.
I take my checkbook off the table, and see that there is only one check left.
My extra checks are on my desk in the study, so I go inside the house to my desk where
I find the can of Pepsi I'd been drinking.
I'm going to look for my checks, but first I need to push the Pepsi aside
so that I don't accidentally knock it over.
The Pepsi is getting warm, and I decide to put it in the refrigerator
to keep it cold.
As I head toward the kitchen with the Pepsi, a vase of flowers on the counter
catches my eye–they need water.
I put the Pepsi on the counter and discover my reading glasses that
I've been searching for all morning.
I decide I better put them back on my desk, but first I'm going to water the flowers.
I set the glasses back down on the counter, fill a container with water and suddenly spot
the TV remote.
Someone left it on the kitchen table.
I realize that tonight when we go to watch TV,
I'll be looking for the remote, but I won't remember that it's on the
kitchen table, so I decide to put it back in the den where
it belongs, but first I'll water the flowers.
I pour some water in the flowers, but quite a bit of it spills on the floor.
So, I set the remote back on the table, get some towels and wipe up the spill.
Then, I head down the hall trying to remember what I was planning to do.
At the end of the day: the car isn't washed
the bills aren't paid there is a warm can of
Pepsi sitting on the counter the flowers don't have enough water,
there is still only 1 check in my check book, I can't find the remote,
I can't find my glasses, and I don't remember what I did with the
car keys.
Then, when I try to figure out why nothing got done today,
I'm really baffled because I know I was busy all the damn day,
and I'm really tired.
I realize this is a serious problem, and I'll try to get some help for it,
but first I'll check my e-mail….
Do me a favor.
Forward this message to everyone you know, because I don't remember who the hell I've
sent it to.
Don't laugh — if this isn't you yet, your day is coming!!

Teen Survives for 10 Hours After Being Swept Into Dangerous Riptide: 'This Is Truly a Miracle' - New - Duration: 5:33.
Blake Spataro, of Bossier City, Louisiana, was looking forward to a relaxing beach-side dinner with his father, Kirk Spataro, when they stopped at Georgia's St
Simon's Island last Tuesday. But their father-son vacation quickly took a turn for the worse when a dangerous riptide swept the 19-year-old out to sea
"He sat down in about a foot of water to cool off and, as soon as he sat down, a wave knocked him under the water and drug him out," Blake's mother, Janice Spataro, tells PEOPLE
"He said he kept trying to swim to the top, then the next thing he knew, he popped up way out in the ocean
" Kirk, 55, who had been grilling their dinner on the beach, didn't know what happened to his son
He yelled for Blake and searched the area before reporting the boy missing around 8 p
m. Search teams were immediately at the scene, but Kirk says they didn't expect Blake to be in the water
"He thought he had just walked down the beach and gotten lost. He thought he'd find his way back to the beach
Nobody knew he was in the water. Nobody knew for certain," Janice says. "I was scared
I felt helpless. They were 14 hours away from me and I wanted to get in the car and drive down there
" According to Blake's account, he began screaming when he found himself out in the ocean, with no land in sight, Janice, 57, says
He panicked as he realized no one knew where he was, and became afraid as the sun went down and it began getting dark
He swam for as long as he could and floated on his back when he needed a break, according to Janice
Blake swam and floated for hours. Back on shore, the Coast Guard called off the search around 4 a
m. and officials declared that the rescue efforts had become a recovery mission. "He said he knew there was a chance he could die out there," Janice says
He almost gave up because he knew nobody knew he was out there. He didn't think he'd survive
Then he saw the blue, flashing light on the Coast Guard boat in the distance." She adds: "He said that it gave him the will and determination to make it to shore
" Blake kept on swimming and, around 6 a.m., the teen made it to Sea Island — about four miles from where he was pulled into the water
Janice says that, after leaving the water, Blake walked for nearly 30 minutes before finding help at a local golf course
He immediately called his parents. "When I finally talked to him, he's like, 'Hey, mom! I'm alive!' … like, no big deal," Janice tells PEOPLE
"I was so happy. I was ecstatic and relieved. We've had every emotion from jubilation to devastation and everything in between
[Authorities said] this is truly, truly a miracle. They're amazed that he survived out there for that long
" Blake was taken to a local hospital where he was treated for dehydration and mild hypothermia
He suffered no major injuries and was released from the hospital after about seven hours, Janice tells PEOPLE
He returned to Bossier on Saturday. "I don't think the reality of the situation has sunk in yet
He's doing fine. He's acting like it's no big deal. It was just another day at the beach for him," Janice says, adding that Blake was awarded an honorary Coast Guard medal and a medal for bravery and courage
As for Blake, he described the trip simply to WSOC. "Worst vacation ever, but also my most exciting ever," he said
