Summer Lookbook - Loookbook estivo feat. Chichwish, H&M, Mango, Asos, Ted Baker, Primark - Duration: 8:49.

>> Hi and welcome or welcome back to my channel

today's video is slightly different from my usual ones as it's my very first lookbook

and honestly I wasn't that confident in uploading it because

as you may have noticed I don't have a perfect body at all

but then I thought that maybe sharing some outfits suitable also for curvier figures like mine

could be interesting for some of you too

So here I am ready to share with you some of my favorite Summer outfits

some of the clothes are new, but some other were staples in my wardrobe from previous years

anyway I'll try to link on my blog as many items as possible, so

once you watched this video check my blogpost too

you'll find the link in the downbar

Ok, I said everything, let's jump into the video!

The first outfit I selected is perfect for a lunch out or even an informal dinner

as you can see I paired a flared skirt with a fun watermelon print

with a 3/4 sleeved black knitted cropped top

I bought both pieces on Chicwish and I think they look fun and unique

especially the watermelon skirt that definitely stands out!

As I don't like to have my belly out I added a plain white tank top underneath

and I finished up the look with a vintage black satin clutch

and some black sandals from Primark.

Now let's move to the second look which is a lot more casual

perfect for a day in town or to bring on holiday

this time I paired a simple white tank top with a lightweight blue and white checkered H&M dress

with stretchy top and spaghetti straps

checkered prints are on trend this season

but honestly I've been obsessed with them for years

to complete the outfit I added a red belt

my beloved white Converse

and a watermelon shaped clutch to keep the Summery theme going

I also wore a simple gold chocker and some cherry shaped earrings to match the other red details

together with a ring with eye shaped cabochon

All of these accessories are my own creations

I invite you to check my Facebook page to find out more

in the photo section you'll find all the available accessories

and the link to my Facebook page is in the downbar

if the weather should get chilly you just need to throw on a red cardi and you're ready to go!

The third outfit is a classic Summer look

straw hat, light blue off the shoulder jersey dress by H&M

and white sandals by Primark

it's a low budget outfit that I particularly love because

it's comfy, fresh, versatile and perfect to throw on your holiday luggage

I accessorized it with a white rope bag by Mango

a simple chocker and a ring with eye shaped cabochon from my own range

and some hoop earrings.

The next outfit is a bit more formal and it's perfect for a cocktail

or a shopping day in town

The focus is without a doubt the lime green Ted Baker jersey dress

with embroideries and bow on the front

I fell in love with it at first sight because

it fits perfectly, it's lightweight

comfy to wear and the flared skirt with pockets is a must for me

I paired it with a red belt and red shoes to create some contrast

and my watermelon shaped clutch

I added some anatomical heart shaped earrings and a big oval ring

The checkered prints are back in my 5th outfit

with this cute black and white jersey dress, tied around the waist, with flared skirt and spaghetti straps

I bought it on Chicwish but I had it slightly modified on the neckline

because it was too high

I think that it has a retro vibe so to keep the vintage look going

I added some custard pumps

and my cute yellow vintage bag

I also wore a chocker with star charms and hoop earrings.

To transition this outfit from day to night you can add a cropped leather jacket

like this one that I bought from Zara a few years ago.

The 6th look I selected is a great classic of mine

I paired a bright flared skirt with tropical print

with a black top with crossed straps on the front

the skirt is handtailored and I bought it in a vintage market a few years and I still adore it

while I got the top on Asos

I added my vintage yellow bag and some yellow fabric flats

that I bought from Modcloth

To keep the tropical theme going I wore a vintage wooden necklace and some hoop earrings too

The last outfit I selected is my go-to look for the Summer evenings

maxi skirt and matching top

The skirt is a vintage piece I inherited from my mother

and I'm obsessed with it because it fits perfectly

and the print is amazing

while I had the top made by a tailor in a matching fabric

The accessories I chose to complete the outfit are quite minimal

a chocker, hoop earrings and vintage satin clucth

I got the sandals a few years ago in New york and I'm still totally in love with them

and we reached the end of this video, my very first lookbook

I hope you liked the outfits I selected, let me know in the comments below which one is your favorite

I also remind you that on my blog I'll link as many items as possible

and the link to my blogpost is in the downbar or you can click on the I that will appear on the top right

That's all I have for you today, if you liked this video don't forget to give it a thumbs up

CREATIVE CONFIDENCE • Confiance en soi, Créativité & Blocages ~ Ursula - Duration: 15:56.

I am hot

hello everyone i hope that you're well today we meet

for a video in my living room because it's way too hot

in my room in addition I had to cut the fan otherwise you will hear

too much background noise so I think that I will be very hot in this video

But it's for a good cause before I start the video I wanted to

thank you for all your messages under the previous video where I was talking about

vulnerability is a subject quite special to

to approach for me it's not easy to approach but I find it's a

subject that is very important and very interesting so thank you very much because

your comments are hyper interesting and hyper instructive

it will serve a lot of people who will go under the video and who will see

your comments so thank you very much feel free also

to express yourself on the subject of today tell me if you really have

facilities to be creative or if you have a creative block or if

you go through times more complicated in terms of

creativity tell me if you do any creative activities in comment so

today we will talk about the self-confidence, confidence in our

creativity: creative confidence, creative trust sometimes we

struggle to reconnect with our creativity and it's true that this year my goal was

really to develop my creativity finally one of my goals of the year

it was to develop my creativity I flourish a lot when I am

very creative and when I'm in a creative environment with creative people

that kind of stuff so I also want to show you that it's

open to all and that especially everyone can be creative and that creativity is

very wide and often we have an idea a little bit wrong, in fact simply about

creativity so we'll talk about it also in this video

I hope you will enjoy it

today I will paint while talking to you today I'm going to make flowers

because I'm back in my flower period but today I'm going to do it

on a black background in fact it's cardboard sheets and

I like doing that right now I have did several already in my

sketchbook (oups attention) that I have almost finished by the way

added the little label for the end I started it in January and I had

done two weeks ago these flowers with gouache and it was kind of the first time

I did it in a concentrated and serious way because I had already done

small tests but it was hyper ugly zero and there I started

a little to find techniques that I like

a style in fact that I like I'm really trying to understand what

I like, see what I like the most to try to improve my

techniques in it and I like this kind of flowers I mix

several colors on the petals and I really like the type of flowers a little

more abstract like that it's really the two that I prefer in the end

I had done that too so you can see with this technique

the mixture of color gradients as that and here for example I added some

white pen that I find pretty cool too and I like everything

which is a little imaginary, abstract and there for example by adding pen I find

that it's a little abstract right now

that's the plate I use for

painting I do not always clean the paint right after using it

because sometimes I reuse it and I finds too bad in fact wasting it

as soon as we put some water back it's rectivated and we can repaint with it

I'm going to use red so this one which is the red of china

use this pink I believe that painting techniques

of flowers in gouache looks a little like techniques we do for painting with

acrylic if some of you do acrylic it seems to me that it's

quite similar it looks a little like

I put some white too, so I have white

which is a little more transparent and white a little more covering depending on

what I want to do

and I also use these colors

in terms of brushes I have a lot of things I also have knives like that

to paint it's normally used with acrylic but it can be used with gouache too

I have a smaller one that I'm going go grab I forget it up there

I will not need that today these two brushes there that

are my favorite brushes

I do not have too many exact ideas of what I'm going to do

I like to imagine and create as I go

I do not want to make a big size I think I'm going to cut the leaves

the question is: do I put them in my sketchbook?

Well, it would be nice if I did not make them too big

(Laughter)

so I bought this paper cutter

I think it's called like that

on amazon really not expensive

I will try to find you a link and put it in the information bar and it's really

great because it helps cut the sheets well

straight which is difficult to do with scissors

well stalled it helps to be well straight

and there is a small blade underneath here that I pass, I press and it is cut

it's so convenient I think I'll cut them in 4

Aaah damn I put paint on my finger

I have already soiled my paper. Bravo

so here I have some water. Always take a little bit of water and then

I get the color and I dilute it a little bit. I will show you from one side

I put more yellow and the other a little more white which makes it possible to get a result

degraded petals it's pretty cool I think

a flower filled with petals

so as for watercolor it's always nice to let it dry

when we want to make several layers

it's better that the previous layer is dry

so to talk about creative trust have confidence in our creativity and

our ability to be creative to have projects to start

certain activities and that I find that when we imagine that creativity is

reserved for certain people and that some people are more creative

than others naturally

that it's sometimes like a gift that kind of stuff

well we have more difficulties I find

to engage in creative activities and to say that it is for oneself

usually children when they are small are really

very very creative we were all very creative when we

was younger and as you went sometimes we lose this

creativity and it's a shame for once because that creativity is useful in everything

and it's really one of the characteristics of the human being

that's what allows us to bring value in general in

proposing, get different ideas doing things different from what

have been already done before when we started to know a little bit about what is

really creativity we go quickly account that we can work and

develop this creativity I have the impression that for many

people also creativity it's to do artistic activities

it's painting and dancing and music...

really very specific activities in which we know that people are

creative by definition while there is also a lot of practice, just

learning, repetition in these activities there so it's not

necessarily very creative. We can do an artistic activity and not be

creative by reproducing only things we see or do

only things that have already been made

creativity is really the fact to try to

find original ideas and to experiment, to try

to possibly find something interesting we hope in general and

propose something different that can make evolve

mentalities, evolve our way to think

or even change our daily lives our way of living and sometimes

give free rein to our imagination because usually in our

imaginary we manage to mix different things that we could see, that we could do

that we could experiment. Our subconscious is going to be able

to integrate different information and to bring out some ideas

our intuition that we can sometimes have

being creative does not mean

having good ideas. We can be creative and have ideas that are not going

necessarily to work IRL, ideas that are not going to end on something or

too complicated ideas to put in place it's very difficult already to do

thing that is very very different very original but in addition it does not mean

necessarily that it will be great so you have to be pretty persistent

persevering here it is persevering is the good word to not stop on

the first ideas we will have and continue to search continue to

experiment and you have to accept that can be a little long, accept

that it may not come easily and that it takes a little time

take experience, get out of our zone of comfort, get out of our habits sometimes

I really liked just inform me about

creativity I will tell you about books I read

in an upcoming video book haul for the book club

just knowing about what is really creativity that allows

to free oneself from certain blockages some false ideas

then if you have a temporary block

because it happens to me. There are times I do not want to

put me to making videos I don't want to paint

I do not want to go out I want to do nothing

I do not want to experiment I do not want to leave my comfort zone

I do not want to take any risk at all

I want to be at home quiet

seriously it's true to be quiet me for example sometimes

when I'm supposed to make videos I find myself reading which is completely different

laughs

but reading will help me relax it's important to do activities

that will relax you when we are very stressed when we are stuck we can't

find new ideas like they say : we have the best ideas under

the shower or in the bath because stress tends to block creativity

so if you are in a very stressful time usually it can be

very difficult to be creative so it'll be important to do some activities

that will do you good which will relax you will help you

relax and why not do activities that have nothing to do with

what you would like to do because can you have ideas by doing

something else, seeing something else, you maybe go find the missing piece

to your idea and it will spring from nowhere as very often the best

ideas spring from nowhere. Well, I'm not not totally satisfied with my flower

it's a bit the first one ... it's not quite what I'm going to do

I have not finished but yeah that's not actually what I wanted to do

I think you always have to start trying to

do the activity in which you want

to be creative for example to get started in video. For me: turn on my camera

put myself to paint for example, go on and finally

realize that we have ideas that come alone and when it does not come

at all you must not force too much and just simply do

something else and try again later and later we can really have

other ideas

it's super important to take care of yourself and precisely

work on everything like self-love etc ...

necessarily what we create the ideas that we have, come from our mind so if we

is not good we tend to have some pretty negative ideas having

negative thoughts so in general and so I think you won't creates

the same thing at all and I personally prefer to create

something that really looks like me so when I'm in a good mood

I know me the days I'm not very well I tend to create

things that do not look like me it's not what I normally like

however, it has been proven scientifically we are more creative

when you are a little bit under pressure so that does not mean when we are very

very stressed. It's not the same type of stress I'll say. It's a little stress

more short term over a period quite limited time for example

just before making a presentation just before or before making a duty for

school I was inclined to do things a bit last minute because

I felt like there was a small boost of creativity energy at the end

do not be afraid either to use and go after ideas which

the craziest one because it can be really the most interesting ideas

and that can block us too because

sometimes I have ideas and I say to myself no that's impossible

or it's too complicated or it's stupid or maybe it's

it may not please anyone. I try to force myself because

precisely I am aware of all this and at the end I realize that

often these ideas that seemed a little crazy

that I have not done yet is the most original ideas

in any case it's ideas that will get me the most of

remarks or compliments in the sense that people will say : ah well it's great

like talking about painting on my youtube channel it was a big

risk and it was a bit crazy compared to

what I already did

it has nothing to do with what I already did on my youtube channel before so that was

a bet was to get out of my comfort zone it was different, original

and I have lots of people who talk to me about it and who tell me

but it's great to have just taken this risk and to start it

It made me want to also put back to painting or to

sewing or different activities and even if we do not always see everything

the result and the positive consequences of the choices we make

be not discouraged because sometimes several years later we

says happily that I made this choice there, luckily I started

in this activity or luckily I have started this thing there we

realize that when we do what we like and when we do something that we

already matches we can attract people who understand our

mindset that include our gait

sometimes I'm afraid that what I'm doing is is not consistent with myself what

is I know ridiculous since it comes from me but

I really think so and it's David who try to reassure me in general and

you too are trying to reassure me in general by saying to me:

no from the moment it's something you want to do

it's that it fits you

and there is a consistency but it's true that sometimes I do not feel it

this consistency and it's important for me to make

things that have meaning that complete each other ...

I advise you in any case to try and get started even if sometimes you have the impression

that it's very complicated your idea that it's very weird

it certainly is for some people, that I do not say the opposite

there are always people who have to to think that what I'm doing is very weird

even just making videos it was very strange at first when I started

on Youtube it was not trendy back then

I say happily that I have gotten into it and now there is IGTV too

there are other supports but at the time it was really weird and in the end

I did well because it is something that I like completely

and which fits me totally so you must also follow your intuitions that you have

It can sometimes be a true luck, a real novelty

have real potential actually I think

from the moment we listen to ourselves and

where we also follow ideas that we inspire, ways that inspire us

we will ultimately arrive at the results and we will come to the end

to create something original trust that you will get there

after all, even if it's very long if it's complicated that you're afraid that

you're stressed out... no matter what is happening have confidence that you can

arrive at the end of your original ideas but take action, experiment

test, practice!

today I am more or less satisfied with my results from

painting drawing. I am happy with that one I think it's

my favorite

and then yeah I wanted to try so the one I like least is this one

but in the end it's not bad because at one point I believed

that it would be really horrible and I like because it allowed me

to experiment a little more with the pen and do things that

I did not expect it's pretty nice

I hope you enjoyed it, I hope you were interested

feel free to tell me what you think in comment and

how you do to be more confident to have more confidence in you

in your creativity share your tips

tell me what you would like me to do in a next video in comment

it would be really cool to have your opinions and I send you lots of kisses

I say thank you in advance and see you soon

People offended by swearing should f#©k off - Duration: 4:21.

Growing up in a strict environment.

There were a lot of limitations and restrictions that you can't cross.

One of those was cursing.

In my entire life, I haven't heard my parents utter a single bad word.

Not even once.

So you can imagine how polite our household was.

I'm here to argue that this is absolute madness.

Repression breeds obsession.

Shoving me into the world and expecting me to remain polite, is like browsing YouTube

in restricted mode.

It's impossible man.

Sometimes you gotta take a peek at the fun stuff.

This is exactly what happened in school, I started picking up some curse words from my friends.

While I never knew the meaning of them, I remember my harsh and negative thoughts towards

any person who cursed.

But turns out, bad words are just words.

Here's a test right now: Drop everything and answer.

What does this phrase mean?

It's French for

"Go fuck yourself."

Congrats man you learned an important new phrase today.

But why it's easier for you to say "va te faire foutre" than to say "go fuck yourself."

In other words why it's easier to swear in your non-native language?

If I asked you to go sing this in public all day.

You probably would.

Because this phrase doesn't have that impact, that punch that is associated with your childhood,

so you wouldn't be that shy to say it.

That's why I'm so grateful that I started learning a second language because this over-politeness

and shyness started to fade away.

I would stand in front of a mirror and whisper "Fuck" and then giggle like an 8-year-old girl.

I experienced this rush full of pleasure and freedom.

Wow! I'm being SO NAUGHTY™

And cursing is trusting.

Think about it, you don't curse in front of a stranger you've met for the first time.

Samuel Jackson is an exception.

It usually takes a couple of hours before getting comfortable with a stranger and being

yourself.

That's why cursing is a sign of trust and honesty.

We say what's on our minds.

We're not filtering our language to be more palatable.

And most kids don't have to be taught what's offensive and what isn't.

They'll figure the swearing etiquette out on their own

And to be clear, there's a fundamental difference between cursing at your kid and cursing around him.

There is little (if any) social-science data demonstrating that a word in and of itself

can causes harm.

Here's an perfect example:: While I was at my friend's house, his dad

started a conversation and all of a sudden he started throwing some cuss words between

the sentences.

Now imagine how MIND BLOWN I was, being a polite, innocent kid hearing these crimes.

"How could this adult talk in front of me like it's no big deal?"

But you know what!

Every time he said a curse word.

A subtle grin flashed across my face.

Deep down I knew that this man trusted me, he trusted me to figure out for myself when

and when not to curse.

He trusted me to grow up and make a YouTube video about it.

And I'm sure you've heard that there was an experiment where 2 people would submerge

their hands in icy water, the person who've SWORN™ would tolerate more pain than the one

who didn't.

Why?

Because swearing activates the brain's endogenous opioid centers which is a fancy way of saying

to your mind: Here's some Morphine you could use.

Are you following me on all of these benefits?

This is some fucking science man!

When I started doing videos, I had a decision to make, should I keep this a family-friendly

channel like the majority of the media right now?

Or simply be myself?

Fuck yeah I'm choosing the second option!

I don't care if these videos get demonized as long as I'm having fun doing them!

Many have fought and died just to defend this fundamental human right called freedom of speech.

So why everybody is getting so offended when they hear a bad word?

I'm offended by others being so easily offended!

Anyway.

That's it.

See you in another propaganda video, where I explain why it's okay to masturbate in

public!

Subscribe, so you don't miss out.

It's gonna be wild!
