Today I will upgrade old clipper in 10 minutes.
Today's clipper is ER-1511, and ER-1511S models from Panasonic.
Do we well know panasonic hair clipper?
But because of color notation following countries, so this two models' name is added 'S', but actually two models are same.
During using clipper, after some time, cutting force is decreased.
The first reason, blade wears down.
Second is lifespan.And the third is when you drop out
it will be flinch because of shock, or combination, there is much noise.
And the important one is when the battery's lifespan is passed up to 6 months,
Its power will be weak so cutting force is decreased too.
Today among them, we will change the battery.
Now pro clipper supplied was renewed in the middle of 2000 from 1990's pro clipper.
But because of renewal, it isn't sure this is budget problem,
Japanese battery and Japanese motor built in before is removed.
Because of renewal, motor company 'Mabuchi' made motor and that motor was put,
Surely now motor is also from 'Mabuchi' but it is made by OEM method in China.
So motor made from China is put,
and battery from China is put.
1100mla battery from China is put, usually recently until the 1300mla capacity battery is put.
Capacity is small, like combining 2 batteries which capacity is 2200~2600mla.
Also because it is from China, lifespan is comparatively short.
Actually Japanese battery is more acknowledged than Korean's.
So today I will change with 2 SANYO 2000mla 1.2V battery chargers.
Before was 22000mla, all capacities are 4000mla.
When I search bariquant(clipper) battery in online,
I bought 1 couple of 2000mla and the price is 7000 won(including shipping fee).
But when you search, there is also big capacities like 2400, 2800mla for one,
actually the gap of feature isn't big but price is expensive up to 2 times.
So I will change a couple of 2000mla.
Nowadays people use like smart phone, so do you know the importance of battery?
Surely using machine long time is also important,
Power, the power's retention force is really good.
So, let's start to change.
Preparations are new battery chargers, cleaning brush, + screwdriver, bariquant(clipper)
I furnish like this multipurpose driver set in my house and shop.
When you buy in online, it is possible to buy usually 5000~10000won.
And it is good to use various purposes.
First, disassemble clipper's blade and loosen the silver bolt.
Using cleaning brush, also cleaning is good.
After loosen the bolt, remove metallic holder,
The head of clipper falls out to front.
When you remove head, you should remove the length controller.
Like this, turn to up slightly and push, there is black groove in the behind.
When you press this black groove slightly with pushing, length controller part is disassembled.
Then loosen the black bolt located behind this product.
And also loosen black bolt in the charging outlet part.
Like now, remove charging outlet part.
Separate product's front cover and back cover.
After disassemble like now, you can see various wires.
Be careful.
If those were detached, you should weld again.
When I open the product, 2 batteries from China were in there.
Detach the fixed tape.
Remove the battery.
And I will put battery prepared.
You should check +, - poles well.
Because the downside part of the Panasonic's clippers are all +, + poles
So + pole should be down part….
But my new battery is attached iron plate to both poles like this.
This is AA charger to clipper. AA charger to clipper is convenient because of iron plate like this.

But if you buy normal battery which doesn't have iron plate like this,
There is something you should be concern more.
Because it won't be connect well.
At that timeslightly.
you should curve this part slightly.
And in between, to not loose, put paper or foil so make fix.
And put battery.
Slightly shake and check the problem for shaking…

If it is linked well, put the fix tape slightly.
It is okay that detached tape perfectly.
If you want, also it is good to write the date you changed the battery.
Again, close the cover.
At that time, especially the caution is.
Can you see this black silicon?
This black silicon is preventing hair from entering in clipper,
when this silicon is put in the middle between top and base plates,
When motor is rolling, it is possible that silicon is torn or destroyed.
If it is, motor will be stopped, or overloaded.
Also, if you use with no this, hair can enter in,
Also, motor will be stopped, or overloaded.
We closed cover well and if it operates well, then assemble originally.
Assemble charging part and tighten black bolt,
Also tighten under black bolt,
And combine length controller,
Fasten head part.
Put metal holder well.
And tighten silver bolt again,
But in that time, don't strongly tighten this bolt.
Because inside is plastic, so if you strongly tighten, there will be crack inside.
And then, noise is high and it completely breaks down.
Only the holder isn't shaken…..
And put clipper's blade again.
Check it operates well or not.
I upgraded clipper simply like this.
Now you can charge.
Everyone if clipper's used around 1 year cutting force is decreased,
don't buy new clipper,
Definitely change the battery first.
And then, you change clipper's blade, and then you can use as a new one.
You use like this, after you use around 4-5 years,
I recommend you use new one at that time.
