Daniel Cormier claimed a second UFC title when he knocked out heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic in the main event of UFC 226 in Las Vegas on Saturday night

The light-heavyweight champion buckled Miocic with a right hook as they exited the clinch in the final 30 seconds of the first round

Cormier, who became the first man since Conor McGregor to hold two UFC titles at the same time with the win, called for a showdown with Brock Lesnar in his post-fight interview

'There's a guy that I've known for a long time,' said Cormier. 'He's a wrestler, he's an All-American, he's a former UFC champion

I never thought I would fight him, but Brock Lesnar — get your a** in here!' Lesnar bundled into the Octagon, pushed the newly-crowned champion and launched a tirade in the direction of some of the bracket's biggest names

'I walked into this building and have watched the heavyweight disasters from the beginning,' roared Lesnar after the incident

'Ngannou is a piece of s**t! Miocic is a piece of s**t! DC, I'm coming for you, motherf*****!' In a contest that looked destined to deliver on paper, Francis Ngannou and Derrick Lewis resulted in one of the most uneventful heavyweight clashes in memory

Lewis came away with the win after a remarkably tentative 15 minutes. He landed 22 strikes as opposed to Ngannou's eleven according to the UFC statistics

As fans booed the duo following the final bell, you couldn't help but fathom what happened to the all action Ngannou that first emerged in the UFC ranks

It seems suffering his first loss in the Octagon to champion Miocic had a lasting impression on the Cameroonian

Paul Felder will likely be looking at a return to the lightweight ranks following his split decision loss to Mike Perry in their short-notice welterweight meeting

Although Felder started well, 'Platinum' took control of the bout with his superior wrestling, using his size to control the smaller man

Felder suffered a big cut over right eye from a Perry left hook in the second round and reported a broken an arm to his corner before walking out for the third round

It remains to be seen whether Felder's lightweight trajectory will be affected by the loss, but after one camp with Jackson Winkeljohn, Perry looks more of a complete package than ever since joining the UFC

It's hard to believe that Michael Chiesa's failed cut to lightweight didn't have some kind of impact on his meeting with former champion, Anthony Pettis

Pettis caught Chiesa with a right hand and knocked him over as he tried to land a jumping knee on the follow-up

After failing on a guillotine, Pettis tightened up a triangle choke that stopped the contest in the first minute of the second round

After missing weight on Friday, Chiesa declared that the Pettis fight would be his last outing at lightweight

We may have seen the last of kickboxing legend Gokhan Saki in the Octagon following his first round loss to Khalil Rountree in their light heavyweight main card curtain jerker

Saki was caught by a left hand and promptly finished approximately 90 seconds into the contest

'The Turkish Tyson' now boasts a 1-2 record in MMA, 1-1 in UFC. It remains to be seen if Paulo Costa and Israel Adesanya will look horns following the Brazilian's win over Uriah Hall

'The Last Stylebender' put on a striking showcase for 25 minutes on Friday night on route to a one-sided victory over Brad Tavares in the main event of the TUF Finale

The Nigerian promised to meet the winner of the Costa-Hall clash in the Octagon following the middleweight tilt, but was nowhere to be seen when Costa had his hand raised

Also on Friday night, featherweight Brad Katona and lightweight Mike Trizano were crowned The Ultimate Fighter winners

이홍렬 근황과 아들은 어떻게 지내는지 궁금하네요.

코미디언 개그맨 이홍렬 나이는 63살, 음력 1954년 5월 22일.

이홍렬 부인 박인규 직업은 방송국 경리였습니다.

이홍렬은 아내가 고등학교 3학년때 방송국 경리과에 취업을 했다.

거기서 바우처(voucher, 지불을 보증해 내놓은 전표)를 받았다.

그래서 난 바우처를 한꺼번에 내지 않고 낱개로 내면서 아내와 만날 기회를 많이 만들었다..

이홍렬은 그런데 당시 아내는 고등학교 3학년이었고, 난 군대 제대한 지 얼마 안 됐을 때였다.

나이차이도 7살이나 나서, 아내가 만날 때마다 만나지 말자고 하더라.

결국 헤어졌다..

이홍렬은 그리고 7년 뒤에 다시 만나서 결혼을 약속했다.

하루는 집에 데리고 왔다가 현관에서 격렬하게 첫키스를 했다.

그리고 거실로 들어가서 남은 키스를 마저한 다음에 집으로 보내줬다.

이홍렬은 그러다가 김보연이 미국에서 안 좋은 일이 생겼다는 소식으 듣고 너무 안타까운 나머지 편지를 보냈다.

그러자 김보연이 답장을 보내 주더라.

너무 감격스러워서 그 답장을 30년 동안 고이 간직해왔다.

그러자 방송에서는 내 마음을 짝사랑으로 몰아가더라..

이홍렬은 그리고 아내가 그 방송을 보고는 TV에 김보연만 나오면 짝사랑 나왔네라면서 질투한다.

이홍렬 부인이 남편과 함께 방송에 출연해도 재미있을 것 같습니다.

이홍렬은 두 아들의 키가 나보다 크다.

큰 아들은 176이고, 작은 아들은 178이다..

이홍렬은 내가 숏다리라는 소리를 워낙 많이 들었기 때문에, 아이들 키는 신경을 많이 썼다.

아이들 성장판이 열려 있을 때까지 우유를 많이 먹이고 농구를 무조건 많이 시켰다.

그래서 키가 커진 것이다..

결국 (인세는) 어린이 재단에 기부해서 우물을 팠다..

이홍렬은 1986년도에 소년소녀가장돕기 행사에 갔는데, 행사가 끝난 다음에 관계자가 흰봉투를 주더라.

당연히 돈봉투였다.

그걸 받지 말았어야 했는데, 나도 모르게 손이 나갔다..

이홍렬은 나중에 확인해보니 십만원이 있었다.

그 당시 십만원은 굉장히 큰돈이었다.

내가 왜 이 돈을 받았을까? 몇날 며칠을 괴로워했다.

결국 그 돈을 돌려줄 방법을 고민하다가, 소년소녀가장 돕기 행사에 나도 참가하게 되었다.

그때 2명의 어린이 가장과 결연을 맺게 되었다..

이홍렬은 사실 그 인연이 나에게 정말 소중한 기회가 되었다.

만약 그때 그 인연이 없었더라면, (바쁘게 살았던 내가) 언제 그런 기회를 만날 수 있었겠는가..

이처럼 이홍렬은 소년소녀가장돕기를 30년 이상을 했고, 또 이들을 위하여 국토종단을 하기도 했죠.

이홍렬은 여러모로 바쁘게, 그리고 우리 사회에서 중요한 일을 잘 하고 있는 것 같습니다.

Operation to rescue boys from Thailand cave under way - Duration: 8:53.

  The operation has begun to rescue 12 boys and their football coach who will need to dive out of the flooded Thai cave where they have been trapped for more than two weeks

 The acting Chiang Rai governor told reporters "today is D-Day" with 13 foreigner and five Thai divers taking part in the rescue

 The operation began at 10am local time (4am BST) and he said it would take at least 11 hours for the first person to be rescued

 Thai army commander Major General Chalongchai Chaiyakam said the 13 "will continuously come out in approximately 2-4 days, which all may change depending on weather and water conditions

"  The only way to bring them out of Tham Luang Nang Non in Chiang Rai province is by navigating dark and tight passageways filled with muddy water and strong currents, as well as oxygen-depleted air

 A former Thai navy SEAL passed out making the dive on Friday and died.  Experienced cave rescue experts consider an underwater escape a last resort, especially with people untrained in diving, as the boys are

 The path out is considered especially complicated because of twists and turns in narrow flooded passages

 But the governor supervising the mission said earlier that mild weather and falling water levels over the last few days had created optimal conditions for an underwater evacuation that will not last if it rains again

 Before announcing that the rescue was under way, authorities ordered the throngs of media that have gathered at the cave from around the world to leave

 The boys, ages 11-16, and their 25-year-old coach became stranded when they went exploring in the cave after a practice game June 23

 Monsoon flooding cut off their escape and prevented rescuers from finding them for almost 10 days

 Authorities had said that incoming monsoon rains that could send water levels in the cave rising, coupled with falling oxygen levels in the enclosed space, added to the urgency of getting those trapped out

 Earlier efforts to pump out water from the cave have been set back every time there has been a heavy downpour

 Mr Narongsak said on Saturday that experts told him water from new rain could shrink the unflooded space where the boys are sheltering to just 10 sq m (108 sq ft)

 "I confirm that we are at war with water and time from the first day up to today," he said on Saturday

 "Finding the boys doesn't mean we've finished our mission. It is only a small battle we've won, but the war has not ended

The war ends when we win all three battles — the battles to search, rescue and send them home

"    The boys sounded calm and reassuring in handwritten notes to their families that were made public on Saturday

 The notes were sent out with divers who made an 11-hour, back-and-forth journey to act as postmen

 One of the boys, identified as Tun, wrote: "Mum and Dad, please don't worry, I am fine

I've told Yod to get ready to take me out for fried chicken. With love."  "Don't be worried, I miss everyone

Grandpa, Uncle, Mum, Dad and siblings, I love you all. I'm happy being here inside, the navy Seals have taken good care

Love you all," wrote Mick.  The most touching note came from one whose name was not clear: "I'm doing fine, but the air is a little cold, but don't worry

Although, don't forget to set up my birthday party."  Another asked their teacher not to give them a lot of homework

   In a letter of his own, the coach, Ekapol Chanthawong, apologised to the boys' parents for the ordeal

 "To the parents of all the kids, right now the kids are all fine, the crew are taking good care

I promise I will care for the kids as best as possible. I want to say thanks for all the support and I want to apologise to the parents," he wrote

 An update on Saturday from the Thai navy said three navy Seals were with the boys and their coach, one a doctor

 The 13 were having health evaluations and rehabilitation, and were being taught diving skills

Food, electrolyte drinks, drinking water, medicine and oxygen canisters have been delivered to them

 A major concern of the rescuers is that oxygen levels in their safe space could fall dangerously low

 Rescuers have been unable to extend a hose pumping oxygen all the way to where the boys are, but have brought them some oxygen tanks

Mercedes-Benz Unveils Fuel-Cell Sprinter Van Concept - Duration: 3:28.

In the battle to reduce vehicular emissions, there are two main weapons of choice: batteries

and hydrogen fuel cells.

Mercedes-Benz has already confirmed plans for a line of battery-electric cars and battery-powered

versions of the Sprinter and Vito vans.

In addition to these hybridized efforts, the German automaker's new Concept Sprinter F-Cell

shows that Mercedes hasn't given up on fuel cells either.

The rear-wheel-drive Concept Sprinter F-Cell's powertrain produces 147 horsepower and 258

pound-feet of torque.

Three tanks mounted under the floor can store enough hydrogen for 300 kilometers (186 miles)

of driving, according to Mercedes.

Another tank can be added to the rear of the vehicle, boosting range to 500 km (310 mi),

the automaker said, but that's not all.

Like the hydrogen-powered Mercedes-Benz GLC variant, the Concept Sprinter F-Cell also

features a small battery pack to supplement the fuel cells, adding 30 km (18 mi) of range.

That makes the Concept Sprinter a plug-in hybrid, but using a combination of fuel cells

and batteries instead of an internal-combustion engine and electricity.

The Concept Sprinter F-Cell was configured as a motorhome to show off the packaging advantages

of its alternative-fuel powertrain.

With the tanks positioned under the floor and the fuel-cell stack mounted in the front

where a gasoline or diesel engine would normally go, there is plenty of interior space to work

with.

Per Mercedes, the fuel-cell setup could be made to work with a variety of body styles.

But will a fuel-cell van ever go into production?

Mercedes parent Daimler claims to be agnostic on powertrain technologies.

"Daimler strategy does not provide a dogmatic, ideological answer to this question but instead

makes it dependent upon the best possible customer benefits," the company said in a

statement.

Yet the company's current plans indicate a lower level of confidence in fuel cells.

While Mercedes has committed to putting the battery-powered eSprinter into mass production,

it did not confirm production plans for the Sprinter F-Cell.

Mercedes is planning a limited production run of the GLC F-Cell, so it's possible the

van could be churned out in small numbers as well.

Both models also use battery packs to supplement their fuel cells.

Mercedes may be sincerely willing to explore all options.

It may just be finding that hydrogen isn't the best bet.

While lack of fueling infrastructure remains a major problem for fuel-cell vehicles, the

number of charging stations for battery-electric vehicles has steadily grown.

However, this may be less of an issue for commercial vehicles operating on set routes

near designated terminals, so fuel-cell vans like the Sprinter F-Cell might have a future.

Λίγοι αντέξαμε δίπλα του και αυτό είναι πολύ τιμητικό, που δουλέψαμε μαζί του. Αυτό δήλωνε ότι διαθέταμε ανθεκτικότητα και γερά νεύρα! Οι πρόβες ήταν εξαντλητικές

«Είσαι η πιο σημαντική παρτενέρ μου» ήταν τα λόγια του. Κοντά του απέκτησα γνώση, αλλά γνώρισα και όλον τον πνευματικό κόσμο της εποχής

Από τη Μελίνα Μερκούρη μέχρι τον Κώστα Ταχτσή, τον Γιάννη Ξανθούλη, τον Παύλο Μάτεσι, τον Βαγγέλη Σειληνό, αλλά και τους Σταμάτη Κραουνάκη και Λίνα Νικολακοπούλου

 Οι σημαντικές συνεργασίες συνεχίστηκαν;  Ναι! Ακολούθησε η συνεργασία -και φιλία- με την Αννα Βίσση και τον Νίκο Καρβέλα, με πολλές πετυχημένες σεζόν στον Διογένη και όλοι μας με πρώτες επιτυχίες στη δισκογραφία

Το «Μπιρίμπα» ήταν η αρχή μου και τους στίχους του συγκεκριμένου τραγουδιού μου έδωσε, έπειτα από πολλή πίεση, ο Σταμάτης Κραουνάκης
