How to Make a Coir Basket at Home Step by Step| Hanging Coir Basket | Easy & Cheap Way//GREEN PLANTS - Duration: 13:32.

welcome to my channel

today i'm going to make a coir basket

for hanging plants

so now start

we need some materials to make this basket

you can get these materials at your home

first we need a wire

3mm diameter plastic coated or pvc coated wire and 1.5mm aluminium wire or any flexible metal wire

7 pieces 65cm plastic coated wires

7 piece plastic coated wires are same sizes

now

from the center of the wire tying the plastic coated wire one by one

using thin metal wire

after

bending the wire

upward bending

next making the top base of the basket

make a 30cm diameter ring

connect the basket wires to the top ring

after making the wire basket , weaving the coir rope

twist and turn the coir rope from wire to wire

here

finished basket

now making the hanging holder

after all coir basket making process

now i'm going to pot a coir plant and some hanging plants

i just put the coconut husk pieces to the base layer of the basket for the drainage and keeping moisture to the soil

i just use only coco peat and coco husk pieces as potting medium

because

these are very light weight and high water holding capacity

and these plants can grow faster in the coco coir medium and doesn't need more spaces to grow

watering to this coir basket plants

we can pure water once in a week

in the hot summer season pour water every 2 or 3 days

thanks for watching

Japan flooding and landslides kill dozens as millions are ordered to evacuate homes - Duration: 4:27.

Japan flooding and landslides kill dozens as millions are ordered to evacuate homes

At least 62 people have died and many more are missing after heavy rains caused flooding and landslides across much of western Japan.

Hiroshima Prefecture was hit the hardest with numerous landslides that killed at least 15 people and authorities have warned that the death toll will continue to rise.

Many of the dead had ignored evacuation orders, choosing to stay in their homes despite warnings.

Almost 5 million people have been told to evacuate as homes have been destroyed and cars swept away.

Since the downpour began on Thursday, the weather agency has forecast record amounts of rain through Sunday, warning of flooding, mudslides and lightning strikes.

Japan's Meteorological Agency retained special weather warnings for three prefectures on the main island of Honshu, down from five, and urged vigilance against landslides, rising rivers and strong winds amid what it called "historic" rains.

Helicopter footage showed people on their roofs waving for help in Kurashiki, and Japanese soldiers rescuing children by boat from a flooded river in Hiroshima.

In Motoyama, a town on Shikoku island, about 180 kilometres south of Hiroshima, 583 millimetres of rain fell between Friday and Saturday morning, the agency said.

Although a weather front had settled between western and eastern Japan, there was a risk heavy rains would continue as warm air flowed towards the front, it added, with already-saturated areas facing more rain on Sunday.

Among the dead were a man who fell from a bridge into a river in western Hiroshima city, and a 77-year-old man in Takashima, 56 kilometres east of the ancient capital of Kyoto, who was swept into a canal as he worked to remove debris, NHK said.

Four people in Ehime, Hiroshima and Yamaguchi prefectures were in critical condition after being injured in landslides, it added.

Flooding and landslides are hampering rescue operations.

Chief cabinet secretary Yoshihide Suga said about 48,000 police, firefighters and members of Japan's Self-Defence Forces were responding to appeals for help.

The weather also hit industry.

Some automakers halted production as the rain and flooding disrupted supply chains and risked workers' safety, Kyodo news agency said.

Mitsubishi Motors Corp halted operations at one plant because it could not get parts, Kyodo said.

Mazda Motor Corp stopped production lines at two plants so employees would not have to travel in hazardous conditions.

New U.S. ambassador to S. Korea emphasizes importance of closer alliance - Duration: 1:05.

America's new ambassador to South Korea reported for duty in Seoul this weekend -- retired

Admiral Harry Harris.

He spoke to reporters on his arrival Saturday at Incheon International Airport,... emphasizing

the importance of maintaining a robust alliance between South Korea and the United States.

Take a listen.

"President Trump and his administration have made clear that strengthening even further

America's alliance with Korea is one of our top priorities.

Our presidents have been in regular contact as we worked together to persuade North Korea

to chart a new course."

He added that the U.S. ccould not ask for a (quote) "better friend, partner and ally"

than South Korea,... and expressed his wish that the two countries become even closer.

He was nominated for the post by President Trump in May after retiring from the navy

and as commander of U.S. forces in the Pacific.

He was approved by the Senate last week... to fill a position that's been empty for a

year and a half, since President Trump took office.

N. Korea, U.S. differ on results of Pompeo's latest visit - Duration: 3:42.

First, let's get a wrap up of Secretary Pompeo's meeting in Pyongyang, and what we know so

far.

Our correspondent at South Korea's foreign ministry, Lee Ji-won, is on the line for us.

Ji-won what can you tell us?

Yes Devin.

Secretary Pompeo said the two sides agreed to hold discussions on July 12 about the repatriation

of the remains of some 200 American troops killed on the northern side of the peninsula

during the Korean War.

State Department Spokesperson Heather Nauert added that this meeting will be held at the

inter-Korean border village of Panmunjom, involving working-level officials including

those from the Defense Department.

Pompeo also said the date could move by one or two days,... and the process will begin

to develop in the days to come.

There were also discussions about shutting down a missile engine testing site in the

North, something President Donald Trump had said the North promised to do so before.

Pompeo said they made progress on what the modalities would look like for the destruction

of that facility.

He also said that the two have laid out a path for further negotiations at the working

level so that the two teams can continue these talks.

The Secretary told reporters that they made progress in every element of their discussion,...

but did not elaborate on whether a timeline has been set for North Korea's "complete denuclearization".

He simply said that a good deal of time was devoted to discussing that and the declaration

of Pyongyang's nuclear and missile facilities.

And though Pompeo said there's still more work to be done,... he was confident that

North Korea and its leader Kim Jong-un are still equally committed in achieving denuclearization.

But Ji-won the North Koreans seem to have taken a different view, to say the least,

about that meeting.

Can you tell us more about that.

Devin, just hours after Pompeo wrapped up his third visit to the North, Pyongyang released

a statement from an unnamed Foreign Ministry spokesperson on its state-run media Korea

Central News Agency, slamming the U.S. for what he called their "gangster-like" unilateral

demands.

The statement said that Pyongyang had expected the U.S. side to offer constructive measures

that would help build trust based on the spirit of their leaders' summit last month and that

the North was also thinking about providing reciprocal measures.

However, it said that it could not help but feel regret about the attitude and stance

the U.S. had.

It went on to say that it brought up constructive measures to carry out each of the articles

in the Joint Statement signed by their leaders in Singapore,... including declaring the end

of the Korean War, shutting down the test site for high-thurst engines to prove the

suspension of its ICBM production and more.

But it said the U.S. had only came up with unilateral demands for denuclearization,...

calling for complete, verificable, irreversible denuclearization and verification... all of

which, the statement said, run counter to the spirit of the June 12th summit.

It said the measures the U.S. had taken,... such as the suspension of joint military exercises

are reversible,... and cannot be compared to Pyongyang exploding and shutting down nuclear

and missile test sites.

But despite the very negtive views about the meeting,... the statement was careful about

criticizing President Trump, and said that they still cherish their good faith in him.

It urged more bold steps from the U.S., saying that the shorter way to denuclearization is

to break away from old ways and build trust in each other.

That's the wrap up I have for you on the meeting,... but we will have to see what Pompeo officially

announces at the joint-press conference in a minute.

Mike Pompeo wraps up two-day trip to Pyongyang - Duration: 2:15.

U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo met with officials in Pyongyang on Friday and Saturday

to talk about how to implement the agreement reached on June 12 in Singapore.

But the two sides seem to feel differently about how the latest meeting went.

Our Kim Mok-yeon reports.

U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo wrapped up his two-day trip to Pyongyang, after a

second round of talks Saturday evening with Kim Yong-chol, the Vice Chairman of North

Korea's Workers' Party's Central Committee.

Soon after the discussions, Secretary Pompeo said that they were mostly productive.

"We had many hours of productive conversations.

These are complicated issues but we made progress on almost all of the central issues.

Some places a great deal of progress.

Other places, there's still more work to be done."

Pompeo said the two sides agreed to hold discussions on July 12 on the repatriation of the remains

of Americans killed in the Korean War.

And, he said, they also discussed "modalities," as he put it, for the destruction of a missile

testing facility in the North.

However, his North Korean counterparts apparently came out of the meeting with a different view.

The North's state-run Korean Central News Agency reported, citing an unnamed foreign

ministry official, that the United States was seeking Pyongyang's denuclearization in

a way that was "unilateral" and "forced."

The official expressed disappointment over the outcome of the talks, claiming that Washington

did not meet Pyongyang's expectations of productive measures conducive to building trust in line

with the spirit of the North-U.S. summit.

During his latest visit, Pompeo was not able to meet with Kim Jong-un, but instead he and

his North Korean counterpart did exchange letters written by their countries' leaders

to each other.

American media have reported on the outcome of the talks as unsatisfactory, with the Washington

Post saying that the KCNA's report evidently contradicts Pompeo's comments that a breakthrough

was made.

The New York Times also reported that Pompeo's third visit to Pyongyang was the least productive

so far.

Monomer from polymer | Condensation polymerization | Easy way – Dr K - Duration: 2:09.

In this video, we're going to find the structure of monomer from

condensation polymer, specifically polyester and polyamide.

Here's an example of a polyester.

This is a shorthand structure of the polymer. Here we have a structure

showing two repeating units. Monomers in polyesters are linked together through

an ester linkage like this. I've posted a video on forming condensation polymer.

Do check it out if you haven't seen it. Let's jump straight to our first example.

We know this is a polyester because we can see the ester linkage.

Therefore it means the monomers are joined through this bond. Once we figure out the two parts,

let's copy them down just the way we see it. Then, we add in H to oxygen

and H to C=O, and there we have it, the structure of the

two monomers that made up this polyester. Let's try with another example.

Now, there's no ester linkage here, but, instead I see an amide linkage.

Notice that the two parts are identical so we'll just copy down one of it and the

same thing, add OH to C=O and H to nitrogen. There we go.

We just found the structure of the monomer that made up this polyamide.

So what is the first thing we need to do when trying to figure out the structure of

monomer from polyester or polyamide? We look for the amide or ester linkage.

That allows us to cut the polymer up.

Then, we draw out the monomers, add in H next oxygen or nitrogen,

depending on whether is polyester or polyamide and OH next to C=O.

To double check your work, you draw out the polymer from your structure of monomers.

If they match with the structure that's given in the question, then you know that you got it right.

I hope you find the video helpful. Do subscribe. Thanks for watching and I'll see you in the next video.
