Youtube daily report Aug 31 2017

India and China, together, are home to over 2.7 billion people.

That's as many humans as in the next 20 most populous countries combined, or in the whole

other 170 countries in the world.

Over the last 300 years, India and China each added more than a billion people to their

populations, way more than any other country, but they have actually been growing at about

the same rate as the rest of the world.

They have a lot more people today because they had a lot more people a few hundred years

ago, when the world began its period of modern, and rapid, population growth.

It's like comparing a big bank account and a small one.

If they both grow at about the same rate over many years, the big one gains a lot more money,

simply because it started with more.

So the billion-dollar, er, billion-person question, is why did India and China have

so many people when they started their rapid growth?

We can't know for sure, since so many variables factor into long-term population dynamics,

but the two most plausible explanations are food and area.

Having lots of fertile land and good access to fresh water makes it possible to grow lots

of food, which in turn makes it possible to nourish a lot of people.

Even today, the 10 most populated countries in the world all have a relatively large amount

of farmland.

And Asia - and in particular south and east Asia - has tons of farmland, lots of river

valleys, and the ability to grow food year-round.

Plus, domestication of plants and animals essentially started in Asia, giving populations

an early leg - or wing - up.

As such, Asia's been the most densely populated region of the world for a really long time.

Area matters too; countries like Pakistan and Bangladesh may be filled with farms and

densely-populated, but because they're smaller in area than India and China, they simply

cannot contain as many people.

Of course, a few other things happened in India and China in the last few thousand years,

and some of them helped the populations grow, and some of them shrank the populations, but

through it all, the large and fertile lands of India and China were able to sustain lots

of people, such that when the era of modern population growth came around, they had a

head start.

Or rather, a hundred-million-head start.

Chelsea target excused from national team duties to discuss transfer

The Algerian Football Association has confirmed that Riyad Mahrez has been excused from the national assignment to finalize a move to a new club with Chelsea mentioned as one of the possible destinations.

The transfer window is winding down with less than 24 hours to go and clubs are currently in a frenetic mode as they scramble for targets in the final hours.

Mahrez has made it clear to the top officials at the King Power stadium his wish to move out of the club this summer and readiness to play for a top side in Europe.

There have been earlier reports by Metro that suggested Barcelona, Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester United are interested in signing the forward who won the PFA Player of the Year in 2016.

However, after long negotiations with a mystery club the entire summer and a stalled move Italian club AS Roma, Mahrez has now been granted permission in the last hour to travel to Europe from World Cup Qualifying assignments, to firm up his next destination.

Should he arrive at Chelsea, it will be interesting what formation and shape Antonio Conte will deploy to accommodate him.

Willian and Pedro have interchanged turns on the right of the three-pronged attack, with Eden Hazard deployed on the left of the lead striker.

Mahrez might command a regular starting berth in Chelsea's first team due to his trickery and pace that is certain to unlock opposition defenses.

The Algerian forward will add a different dimension to Chelsea play going forward and with injuries and suspensions certain to occur in what will be a long season, Antonio Conte and his colleagues will be better off stepping up their negotiations and working their transfer charms on him.

Fifteen Finnish Words/Phrases to Use at a Nightclub - Translated to English (with subtitles) - Duration: 5:03.

Hello once again everyone and welcome back to 'English Tips for Finns,' and this

is video number 22.

Earlier I did a video about great Finnish words and

phrases that have to do with drinking, and by the very humble standards of my

YouTube channel it did pretty well. This video is in the same vein. This

video is about great Finnish words and phrases that are used when going to a

nightclub. The format is a little bit different in this video. I'm going to

show you in two slides a story about a man named Steve who goes to a nightclub

with his friends...and it ends very tragically for Steve, as you'll see.

You should again read it through, pause the video, think about how you would say

these things and, after the two slides, I will go through each in turn and discuss

them. As always I love getting comments, so please keep commenting. And,

as always, please like, subscribe, share follow me on Twitter and maybe enrol in

my course 'Fifty Common English Mistakes Made by Finns' and all that information

is in the description box below. I guess that's it. So let's get started.

You'll notice that the Finnish words are in their dictionary form, so you're going

to have to change the verb tense or the number or whatever to make it sound

perfect.

Okay, let's start with 'porukka' first. I often see 'porukka' translated as 'gang',

and this is a little bit old-fashioned, I think, so I wouldn't translate it that

way. You could say 'Steve and his friends' or, if you're British, you might say

'Steve and his mates'. You can even say these days 'Steve and his posse'. It's an old

western word, but still it's making a comeback. Then, as far as 'muodikas'

goes...so I've seen 'trendy' and I've seen 'fashionable'. I have to say a little

bit about the word 'trendy' because you have to be careful with 'trendy'. 'Trendy'

does mean something that's sort of modern and having influence, but its

meaning is changing a little bit. It has sort of come to mean 'you're following

what others do', so it's a little bit negative. 'Fashionable' is not negative.

In this case, I would actually use 'fashionable', although 'trendy' wouldn't be

wrong.

If you're talking about a nightclub, I think 'portsari' or 'poke' has to be

translated as 'bouncer'. A 'doorman' is usually used at a more sort of upscale

hotel. 'Henkkarit' is pretty easy....so it's either 'ID' or 'identification'. A

bouncer might ask you, 'Can I see some identification?'

The Finnish word 'pääsymaksu' is translated as 'cover charge' when you're

talking about a nightclub. You can also say 'admission fee' but usually an

'admission fee' is for something like a museum or a university -- something more

formal. As far as 'narikka', I would just translate this as 'coat check'.

There must be about a thousand ways to translate 'tupaten täynnä'. As I wrote

here - 'jam-packed'', 'totally full', 'packed full' - all those words are good. You can use

many things with this.

This one is actually really easy to translate. I would translate 'lihatiski'

as 'meat market'... so that's a very common thing you would say in this kind

of situation. 'This place is a meat market.'

This one is also very easy to translate, I think.

'Lärvilauta' would be translated as 'round of drinks'. If you want to buy

drinks for your friends you could say 'It's my round' or 'I'll buy the next round'.

'Bongailla tipuja' was a little bit difficult for me. I think in some parts

of the English-speaking world, they do say 'bird watching', but not where I'm from.

I would say they spent some time 'checking out the ladies' or 'checking out

the women'.

'Silmäpeli' is also a little bit difficult. You could say 'They played eye

games' and I think everybody would understand what you mean,

but I don't say it and I don't think it is said really anywhere in the

English-speaking world. What I would say is, 'They kept checking each other out'.

'Eye games' might be said but I haven't heard it.

'Valomerkki' is easy to translate. Tt's just 'last call'. I don't think it could be

anything else. And this expression - 'Meille vai teille?' - so in

English we would say, 'Your place or mine?'... but I really don't recommend that you

use that because it's such a cliche that it's really sort of cheesy and you're

probably not going to succeed if you say it.

There must be a thousand ways to translate 'saada pakit' in English, but two

of the more common ones are, 'Steve got shot down' or 'Steve was rejected'. You

might find others as well.

I'm actually a little bit confused as to what 'käydä flaksi' actually means, but

from what I understand it can mean several things. You could say, for

example, 'He was hoping to get lucky', 'He was hoping to score' or 'He was hoping to

get laid'.

Masou Gakuen HxH [BD] Episode 3 Part 2/3 [Engsub] - Duration: 8:37.

Chidorigafuchi?

Aine{-san}'s always like that.

She always trains by herself.

I wanted to spar with her, but she just ignored me when I asked.

At this point, everyone keeps their distance from her.

She has a strange obsession with fighting.

Yurishia{-san} and I don't know what she's thinking, either.

Even though we're all part of Amaterasu.

So he managed to do it with Himekawa?

Guess I can't run away now.

{Part B}

Chidorigafuchi{-san}?

She only joined us in high school, so I don't know any details.

Come to think of it, I've never seen her smile.

I see...

U-Um...

Can I go?

Y-Yeah...

So, why exactly are you talking about me?

Well, this sucks.

This is a good chance to learn about Chidorigafuchi, but what do I say?

Hey.

Have you eaten yet?

No, not yet.

I see.

I guess I'll give you this, then.

Be grateful.

That looks good.

Are these handmade?

Yes.

I bought them at a convenience store, cut them in half, and put them in a lunchbox.

I don't think that qualifies as handmade.

I see.

How would you define "handmade," then?

Huh?

How strict is the definition?

{\q2}If I can't use something that's already been made, I'd have to grow my own wheat for the bread, right?

Oh, I'd have to go catch the tuna, too.

I'll be right back. Can you wait here?

I'm sorry!

I'm really grateful!

As long as you understand.

What am I doing here again?

Thank you.

Wait.

There's one other thing I want you to eat.

Dessert or something?

H-Hey, you can't mean—?!

Wh-Wh-What are you doing? We're in broad daylight!

{\q2}I read in a book that if you do it in a place like this, the immorality of it turns the guy on more.

What kind of book did you read?

I-It doesn't matter!

Come, Hybrid Heart with me right now!

Are you...?

Wh-What are you talking about, you worm?

Do you think that I, of all people, would be scared of something like this?

But you're shaking.

I'm about to get my Immoral Weapon.

I'm so happy, I'm shaking.

Immoral Weapon?

What's that... Wait!

Is this still not good enough?

Why am I getting excited?

Bet she's wearing a pilot suit underneath like before—

Or not!

Go ahead. You can touch them.

But...

Hurry up.

W-Wait!

They're so soft...

Th-This is weird!

You can't force it...

And, I mean, you have to think about how the other person feels.

I don't care.

I can't lose.

I can't let Yurishia and Hayuru beat me forever.

You...

I want power.

If I can get some...

I don't care what happens to me!

Fine.

Hey...

We're doing a Heart Hybrid, right?

I can't do it.

Not when you've got that look on your face.

You don't know anything about me, right?

And I don't know anything about you.

So, like, we should spend some time getting to know each other.

That's impossible.

Impossible?

H-Hey!

Sis?

Hello?

Kizuna, it's Reiri.

I need to talk to you.

Can we meet?

Y-Yeah.

Here.

Do you remember this room, Kizuna?

Yeah.

I could never forget it.

This is...

This is the place...

...where it all began.

I underwent the Core Install surgery for the Heart Hybrid Gear.

Right here.

I was scared.

But I still did it for Mom.

I wanted Mom's approval, so I tried to help with the Gear experiment.

But Mom...

I'll never forget.

That's right.

Kizuna, actually...

Oh, right, there was something I wanted to ask you.

Ask me?

I want you to tell me what you know about Chidorigafuchi.

Aine?

Why?

Why?

Because I have to know about her, I think.

What she's like, where she came from, why she's here...

I want to know.

There are no records of her early life.

Seven years ago, in Chidorigafuchi, Tokyo, a girl with no known identity was found.

She had no memories and couldn't even remember her name or identity.

Was that...

Yes, that was Aine.

►Joe Haden Rumors: ►Chiefs, Saints Among Interested Teams ► - Duration: 1:33.

The Cleveland Browns are set to shake up the free agent market with the release of cornerback

Joe Haden, once considered (and paid) like the best cornerback in football.

Now the team has deemed his production hasn't matched the paychecks they're cutting, and

word is that he will be released on Wednesday.

Two teams in the hunt for Haden once he's free, per Adam Schefter, are the Kansas City

Chiefs and the New Orleans Saints.

Haden will be able to pick his first home outside of Cleveland since he first entered

the NFL at the age of 21.

The Browns will one day undoubtedly honor Haden as a franchise great given his prime

years as a cornerback for a team that rarely won games during his tenure, a bright spot

in a dark time, so to speak.

However, as the Browns turn the corner and allow the youth movement to fully take over,

Haden has been deemed expendable.

Haden has 19 career interceptions in 90 career games for the Browns.

He's had some health issues over the years, but he's still only 28 and should now be

motivated to show his former team what he's capable of.

It's an interesting release for the Browns because Haden can serve as an incredible mentor

for a young secondary.

It's also not as if they don't have the cap space to swallow what's left on his

5-year, $67 million contracts.

For the Kansas City Chiefs, the addition of Haden could solve any and all question about

who starts opposite Marcus Peters.

Terrance Mitchell, Philip Gaines and Steven Nelson have all tried to solve that issue,

but a signing of Haden would put Nelson firmly in the slot and create an overflow of talent

with a trade likely coming for one of the aforementioned others to a cornerback needy

team.

Joe Haden: Former Pro Bowl CB Joe Haden released by Cleveland Browns - Duration: 1:03.

The Cleveland Browns announced on Wednesday they have released veteran cornerback Joe

Haden.

Haden was due to be paid $11.1 million this season.

The Browns approached Haden about taking a pay cut but he did not agree to it, a source

told ESPN's Pat McManamon.

The Browns then sought a trade but ultimately released Haden when they found no partner,

a source said.

Haden, who was Cleveland's first-round pick in 2010, has fought through injuries the past

two seasons.

He missed 11 games in 2015 with a finger injury and a concussion.

In 2016, he missed three games and played through two groin issues that required postseason

surgery.

Haden, 28, is not subject to waivers and is free to sign with another team after 4 p.m.

ET on Wednesday.

Teams expected to have strong interest in Haden are the Pittsburgh Steelers, New Orleans

Saints and Kansas City Chiefs, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter and Josina Anderson.

The Dallas Cowboys also have some interest in Haden, but there is concern over the pri

give you an actor don't think I was like no I can't so we just give me KG can we get

Kevin Garnett on the show and a mirror at the same time I would like let him

let him speak his mind are you a big a you big hoops guy uh

yeah man I'm a big Knicks fan for sure yeah and you're from California and yeah

yeah this show is also a Lakers fan before I grew up in California yeah

which was a team you grew up in LA who is on that team the first basketball

game I ever went to was Clippers but then it was Lakers for a long time that

was a rough run for the Clippers when they were franchise guy was Povich it

was like the lowest of the low was really really bad yeah really bad but

really fun cuz they were like such the underdog then the Clippers like got cool

again recently and I was like now it's like want to band you like it's popular

right you know you're like now but I like the Clippers when they sucked yeah

yeah you work with I mean James Spader regularly yeah I've seen it like an

interviews he's like your guy you like him a lot right yeah yeah he's cool he's

cool he's an intense dude yeah how is he intense

oh he's so intense man he's just he's James is never really off you know no I

don't mean that like a performing way I just mean he's he's always very engaged

you know he's very on the front foot he's um he's always thinking and when

you're working with him he never stops being like this Cup should be here in

life he's just very very driven yeah yeah and you can't turn it off at all no

no so you uh you're on the blacklist you have your own movie that you wrote

directed yeah wrote it directed it edited it's put some music in it that I

composers really fun it's my first time behind the camera with great cast Justin

Long and Cobie Smulders and John Cho Ron Hansen all these great folks Justin Long

who saw the festival yeah Justin I bumped into the festival I

just finished the script and had been thinking about him in the in the role

and and just got to talk it and he read it and then he he connected he'd had a

it's a film I wrote sort of partly out of my own life experience and then and

then partly you know exaggerated and dramatized what what's the premise

the premise is a guy going to his ex-girlfriend's wedding needless to say

he's a bit out of place and yeah and why did he go to the wedding this is the

part where I do that you'll have to watch the part he you know it's it's a

mix of things I think you know if he goes for reasons unknown to himself I

mean sort of partly maybe to win her back but partly to show everyone that

he's totally okay with this you know it's kind of all those things so tell me

what it's like that you're directing all these great actors Peter Gallagher

Justin Long Luis Guzman Dana Delany and yeah what is that like honestly it's

great because when you're dealing with pros and veterans like that who really

know what they're doing and they've been around the block and they've dealt with

you know good sets bad sets and everything in between they're they're

great they know how to take care of themselves and it's really just about

you kind of keeping the Train on the tracks and trying to tell the story that

you want to tell and kind of pitching the way that you saw it and then letting

it go from there and letting it you know letting the scene take its own shape and

letting these actors do the amazing things that they do so you cast the film

kind of yourself I did the casting along with Cassandra kulakundis who's an

amazing I know it directed you know I know her brother amazing yeah yeah

awesome she's the best she can boogie nights and you know all that might be

the best cast movie of all maybe ever right maybe one of the best all-time

cast so she's needless to say phenomenal and works her butt off so she's like and

I saw her on a flight like three years ago

Cassandra anecdote I hadn't seen her in years she sitting next me on a flight

and I'm really hung over because I just been eliminated from Last Comic Standing

and look at duel with Keenan Ivory Wayans we went back and forth and he's

he like insulted me and yeah I said let he said like why like some new jokes who

I didn't like all of them and I said well I liked all your scary movie films

sarcastically obviously right I got it got a big pop yeah and not here

apparently at the actual tape you should have been

there hilarious but so the next morning I'm like I'm like bummed I'm on the

flight I turn to her and she's just like how are you I'm like an owl oh she's

like well I'm horrible she told this whole story about a friend died I was like

nevermind and I was hungover so in the middle of

her story about a friend dying I just fell asleep back with an amazing panel

best panel ever first off from NBC's the blacklist

maybe the best dressed male guests we've had I mean sockless shoe combination Wow

thanks I get made fun of for that so I appreciate it no I couldn't do it stinky

feet for the record they smell great they smell good they smell very good all

right yeah we got Anthony recognizing the train yesterday whoo Joey was his

name yeah Joe kickbox Joey kicked by Joey kickbox

on Twitter his real last name I could pronounce it okay

what did he kick box you know it was real nice all right

it was like you I know you like to get recognized for anything is New York City

for that reason tell me about it movie star Erin Foley thank you so much for coming in

course you know from the movie almost famous and me far from it and Foley

Anthony wrote that joke it wasn't good

Dwyane Wade is gonna meet with LeBron this week this this is like on friends

like the chair you want to get together finally Rachel yeah okay we have ones

we're awesome which one's Rachel I don't think the joke threw that hard

and there's like you know that Wade's gonna get bought out you know that he's

gonna end up on the Cavs and then they're gonna end up being like the

expendables you know they got Rose you know that Chris Bosh is gonna come back

for one last job they're all it feels like almost like a retirement squad

someone's gonna sneeze rose applaud is an eighth season and then Bosh is you

know his arms gonna fall off and then I don't know it just the best is a TMZ

reporter like I just was like that's your job like chasing Dwyane Wade in an

airport terrible and like - Wade was just like yeah I'm probably gonna text

him he's like oh thanks so much guys gonna see this and weep I hope you know

what's interesting - is it like you know that this is gonna get he's gonna get

burned again like Wade got burned by LeBron you know he's gonna sound like a

three year deal with Cleveland I do I would like them together to say I think

it will give them it will give them some firepower like they have they didn't

have depth last year against the Warriors they had some - yeah well at

the only time you're gonna beat the Warriors if as if Cleveland could have

you know grabbed a couple of other players to play for them right before

the finals like they needed seven more players to get Golden State yeah when

Deron Williams was like leading their second unit I was like she said when did

Deron Williams start looking like Paul Giamatti yeah I felt like half the squad

was like weekend at Bernie's you know they just like go get in there Williams

like I got some plan there's so many players you're like what Richard

Jefferson's alive yeah not bad he seriously

he's very well yeah here's the one thing I have I bumped when I was like when I

was like 21 I bumped into Richard Jefferson in a bar and I was a little

aggressive Oh what the hell and it turned around I was like oh my god

Richard Jefferson he was like I'm so sorry and I've had a hard time

respecting him ever since then because that was like a wiry kid my head no he

wasn't pissed he was nice he's a good good guy I like that you're

left respect went to someone that was really polite also all your stories you

know beginning in in bars I need to know what bar that was like draymond Green he

would have killed me and that's what you what I wanted yes you're crazy

do you have a girlfriend I do okay it's rocky I love Lamar Odom I've always

loved Lamar Odom he's a New York guy he kind of came in with some problems he

turned it around he's a great story he said that there's a recent quote that if

la never traded him he'd still be playing the Lakers today I kind of

believe him because that's when all his problems really started he's the only

guy to ever leave LA and develop a coke problem in Dallas he he was not doing

well yeah like that was he went sit you know what happened I think was he was on

that trade that were they traded for Chris Paul got vetoed and then and then

they were like oh we've heard him so badly we have to just trade for the

trade for like nothing which I think them even more yeah I mean when you have

a serious drug issue and instability and then you go to Dallas I don't know how

you really pick yourself up after that but it's it's interesting how like I

have a I have a real sweet spot for him cuz he played for University of Rhode

Island and I went from New York to Rhode Island so I watch them play in college

and so we're always kind of cheering for him like it takes a real special guy for

me to cheer for him post brothel you know

I hope he claims himself up but you know then at the end of the article he's got

like seven clothing lines for book deals and you're like eyes he's writing a

tell-all book but it is it gonna be relatable at all he's like he's like you

know when you go back to your mansion after a bender and you won't return your

phone calls like no other people with drug problems they'll relate to that

specific thing like I just like I mainly itch on the train that's the thing about

about being an addict it's like it you got to have all this strength to come

your worshiped as an athlete and then you have to really see yourself for who

you are right when you come out of it and it's like you know and it all

happens in the public eye yeah it's not like you're going through all those

things in front of millions of people that that do like you and they do admire

you so like that fall from grace is happening in front of everyone that's so

difficult yeah I did thought it was interesting though that like Odom said

at one point like maybe he'll playing the big three and then like that's like

a place of redemption and then another thing to it was like the big three is

gonna go international he mentioned that as a thing which is like amazing to me

like the idea of like Jerome Williams the junkyard dog in Brussels yeah I like

also that the big three just started it is now addressed you know yeah I could

be playing it like the Mars space station and like he just blew up the bit

like we were just like did it even work

thank you boy the Hat on Colbert or something like blew up I don't know what

happened yeah I think I played in four cities and ice cubes like we're going to

Amsterdam like slow down Lamar's like maybe we don't start with

Amsterdam please show us your touchdown celebration dance

I don't know something like that I'm probably just going to use my dance moves

like Victor Cruz woo I like tat

and then some pointing hit us with it

so I'm gonna do a little of this action

classic I'm gonna throw it over you got

and then like a really handsome man like a quarterback

right here well I'm not gonna kiss you but surely I'm a handsome man

ma'am show us your touchdown celebration

that's by far the best answer we're gonna receive

that's Joe list a good dancer good team I was at his wedding a week and a half

ago and he tore up the dance floor he's got a great body for it I mean he's like

lean he's wirey as a gangly tall white man I can relate are you good dancer not

at all little bit really no no I played the Scarecrow in high school don't beat

yourself up I wouldn't go with gangly yeah what would you use broad the Texas

Rangers refused to accommodate the Astros after a flood this is ridiculous

and they got trashed by the MLB like this right on the MLB website trashed

them for doing this and then it was it was edited and taken down so the MLB you

know running one in a pretty toxic way when it comes to this stuff at least

from within this is this should be trash yes let me just say this the the

response from the Texas owner was like oh you know I didn't want to take this

view to the tickets in the seats away from the fans last summer I went to my

first Texas Rangers game it was seven hundred ninety degrees no one is there

they are full-on building a new stadium nothing is wrong with the existing

stadium except no one goes cuz it's so hot so they have to build a new stadium

with the roof no one is in the stadium and his excuse was you know oh I don't

want to take the the seats away from the fans and it was so disrespect you you

start with humanity and then there's baseball playing the Trop which I don't

know if you've been to that stadium terrible yeah

you know it was so I thought it was one of the most and was a little further

than another place in Texas yeah it's terrible I don't know why that was like

oh we'll compromise Tampa yeah this thing I've ever heard yeah where

you hit a flyball and you have to wait for it to get down from the rafters for

25 minutes like that's a ballpark to acclimate yours oh yeah because the

whole reason they did it was for the fans to not miss those games so it's

like you really think anyone from Tampa that's gonna be like oh the Astros and

Rangers are coming to town like they care it's not like when football comes

to Europe or anything like see the team they support but they're gonna be like

no I'd like to see two teams from Texas battle it out why would you lose even

crazier two is that Joel Osteen is gonna do his sermons out of the Texas Ranger

stating a rod and JLo everyone's new favorite celeb couple they are donating

25k each for Houston they've announced on Instagram this isn't how you do it

yeah like every respect to a person they were like he donates a lot to charity

right they don't just say hey I don't need a lot of charity yeah yeah that's

true yeah what do you think I think it's helpful to get the word out there in any

way but I agree you don't want to do it in some self-aggrandizing way where you

like look at me you know honey I'm Tony but you know I mean Kevin Hart is

donating a lot of dough and a bunch of these guys are getting in so it's you

know I bet Jeter quietly donated fifty one thousand right yeah you know not

only get to say how much you're donating just I think raising awareness in and of

itself is problem I would have excited like how rich a-rod is he should have

just not said I would have assumed he would have donated more that's the other

thing with how much money that guy makes you're like really 25 grand yeah you

know that's like dinner for you is that yeah yeah the whole thing was such a

misfire I thought like you know again I'm glad they did it I'm glad you know

it'll it's all it's positive but the first of all it was a camera well just

on just on just on her the whole time you saw like a rods ear near there just

like an eyeball you know and and she was like and then he was like yeah yeah god

bless everyone whatever and you're just like oh it felt like such a PR stunt it

is but a rod I mean obviously you know I don't have a high opinion as a Yankee

fan he ruined everything he is awful and and I I started he's so awful that I

started to like love him because a certain point how much can you expose a

person until you just start to like them he was so exposed they were like you

cheated again and he was like yeah yeah it went from boos of the stadium to its

final you were like what Jeter got like a farewell tour he got like reluctant

like alright yeah it was like yeah him cheating it's like you know when the

Kramer came through the door and people talking sports we're going to Liz

Gonzales with another thing it's Wednesday

yeah has everybody partaken in their famous football draft yet no no mine was

on Sunday I missed it I don't know who I am

you missed it yeah I think I'm done ended before you see I feel like you

ended before you even begin yeah no I'm out this year I've had a hell of a

dynasty though I'll be honest PvP B's it's time his right engine that's it

okay Erin I had to give it up I had to give it up because it was ruining for

the sport for me but fantasy baseball who was time for that

oh I turns out I have time for it are you just meticulously totally unemployed

I just had a brush my teeth to get here

there we go well we're entering week four of the NFL preseason and already

we've had a ridiculous amount of injuries to players that are actually

pretty meaningful Julian Elmen out for the season with a torn ACL Spencer we're

out with a torn PCL Cameron Meredith the Bears number one receiver out for the

season my problem with this is that all of

these injuries are happening during completely meaningless games and my

solution here is I think the coaches and the players should get together and just

decide the veterans are just not going to partake in the preseason because you

know the NFL is not going to cut any games too much money involved do you

think just cut it completely right why do I even have it the NFL would not

go for that money yeah the TV deals done for those four weeks alone and there's

also these crazy rules how they can't even come together as a team and in the

practice facility till like June and so I think that's another huge cause of the

injuries because they're going full-tilt a lot of em are going full-tilt right in

the preseason to make the team and it's it's yeah I mean unless you just make it

year round fight to the death you know I feel like yeah more violence

I think would up the TV ratings you know

as the new NFL commissioner I say we add knives

are you gonna cage the football fields and there's no way out yes

okay no Commissioner is like what george carlin bit remember we said if we

talk about what a war football is we should make it a real war and i mean

leave the injured on the field well this has been a great episode of people

talking sports stay tuned tomorrow night we got Chris Jericho on the show it's

gonna be a great one keep Greg stone your roommate yeah that's not a

resounding endorsement he's also my buddy hilarious comic Craig stone give

me a great one stay tuned omona I'll beat the Albany funny bone this weekend

big things are happening for me

You could say, for

example, 'He was hoping to get lucky', 'He was hoping to score' or 'He was hoping to

get laid'.
