Youtube daily report Dec 15 2017

Loris Karius defends Jurgen Klopp's rotation policy as he targets role as Liverpool's No. 1

Liverpool goalkeeper Loris Karius is keen to reignite the battle to become Jurgen Klopp's first choice after being given his chance against West Brom.

The German was handed only his second Premier League appearance in a year for the goalless draw at home to West Brom after established number one Simon Mignolet's swollen ankle meant he was rested as a precautionary measure.

Karius is Klopp's designated goalkeeper for the Champions League but with the competition now in a two-month hiatus the 24-year-old faced the prospect of playing only in the FA Cup before February's resumption.

However, the manager's willingness to swap goalkeepers has given Karius renewed hope.

"Of course, it has been quite a while," he said, having last started a league game in August.

"Obviously I've had the Champions League games but there are not that many so I was happy to get a start, it's always nice.

I wasn't really expecting it.

"It is always a battle [to be first choice], it doesn't matter in which club or which position.

"If you don't perform well, even when you start, you might lose your spot in any position so you have to perform and the rest is up to the manager.

"I was happy I got a start and I just try to keep the standard high in training.

The decision who plays is the manager's job.".

Klopp's rotation policy has been criticised and the scrutiny has increased after dropping four points in as many days in two home matches.

The Reds boss has made 65 changes to his first XI already this season.

However, Karius insists that cannot be an excuse.

"I think if you look at the starting XI that is pretty much a starting XI which has played together before," he added.

"It is not as if there are six new, young players coming in—we are all professionals and have played a bunch of games so there is no excuse.

"The manager picks the strongest team and the fittest one and I think it was a strong team.

"We have dropped points but we still believe in our ability.

We did when we played well and we do when we drop points.".

Dominic Solanke rues "annoying" disallowed goal but takes heart from latest Liverpool chance

Dominic Solanke may have been denied his first goal for Liverpool but the disappointment has spurred him on as he knows he will get more chances.

Seven minutes from time in the goalless draw at home to West Brom the England U20 World Cup winner had the ball in the net at the Kop end only for it to be disallowed after referee Paul Tierney, having initially pointed to the centre circle, chalked it off following consultation with his assistant.

The linesman had spotted the ball had gone in off the youngster's arm, capping a frustrating night which saw Liverpool drop two points at home for the second time in four days, meaning they could not regain their top-four spot.

"It went onto my chest, I tried to chest it in and it has clipped my arm.

The referee disallowed it but it's very unlucky," he said.

"I thought he had given it as well.

I was celebrating.

I don't know what changed his mind but he changed his mind.

"I thought I had won it; it's not nice when you are celebrating and it gets disallowed.

"It was annoying but hopefully I will get a goal soon and carry on from there.

It means Solanke is still searching for his first goal since a summer arrival from Chelsea, with his transfer fee yet to be decided by a tribunal, but he is not disheartened.

He has already made 14 first-team appearances, including two Premier Leaguestarts, having featured just once in three years at Chelsea, and Klopp has already shown he is prepared to give the 20-year-old chances.

"He has made me feel welcome, he has showed a lot of faith in me and played me in some important games," he added.

"He always gives me feedback and tells me if I think I should be doing something better which you want from a manager.

It is criticism and praise, it helps me a lot.

"The manager has a lot of faith in the young players so it's a good place to be.

Solanke started the game on the bench as Klopp restored the 'Fab Four' of Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino and Philippe Coutinho—an attacking quartet West Brom goalkeeper Ben Foster believes is only rivalled by Pep Guardiola's Premier League leaders.

"They are scary at times.

They are up there with Man City in terms of the pace and quality they have up front," he told Press Association Sport.

"There are times when they are breaking on you and there are two, three, four runners going off at all angles and speeds, and you're thinking, especially as a goalie, 'Oh, here we go'.

"When we saw the team sheet and they had the big ones up front, to come away with a clean sheet is no mean feat.

"There will be a lot of teams who cost a lot more money and on bigger wages than us that come away having conceded quite a few goals.

Liverpool left frustrated as Jurgen Klopp's Christmas operation stalls against West Brom - Duration: 10:32.

Liverpool left frustrated as Jurgen Klopp's Christmas operation stalls against West Brom

Two more points dropped, Christmas is coming, and this is where the 'fun and games' really start.

Quite obviously, Steven Scragg decided to take a look at the parallels between Liverpool and some classic kids games.

Let's pull no punches, that was the most forgettable game of football we've played, well, since the last game we've all opted to forget.

This felt different to Sunday's draw.

On Sunday, against a defensive team, we scored one and created two other decent openings.

Had we been 3-0 up after 50 minutes then nobody could have offered a compelling argument against it.

Up until the gift of a penalty, it was largely a textbook example in how to work your way around a team who set out to stifle.

West Brom was another matter entirely.

Frustration.

That old favourite.

The dice, cocooned within their plastic orb, which you have to press down to provoke your allotted number of moves.

The plastic pieces representing the players.

Bombing along, hitting five and six with consummate ease.

Making up ground on your rivals, and eventually leapfrogging a few of them.

What fun.

But then you hit a patch when you slow down, almost as if in slow motion.

You have a run of rolling a one.

Those you have passed catch you up once more, maybe even go past you.

The competitor who should be nowhere near the front few places suddenly sneaks beyond you too.

It's called Frustration for a very good reason.

Just when you think you have everything worked out, the wheels start to wobble once again, and you're in danger of being lapped by the runaway leader.

Despite fielding all four of the Coutinho, Firmino, Salah and Mane quartet, we struck the image of a team who had other things on its mind.

A team who fancied being somewhere else.

A team who wasn't too issued that thousands of fans had come away from warm homes, to sit in the cold, in the name of footballing entertainment.

By the time the drive to win kicked in, the evening had run away from us.

The overall vibe they omitted of 'we can't be arsed with this tonight' was added to by dashes of a lack of luck and some unashamed time-wasting from our opponents, plus a big serving of pedantic refereeing.

Throw on top of that Dominic Solanke's disallowed goal, which rightly or wrongly was going to be given by the linesman, and it all made for an evening of rich annoyance.

How frustrating. Kerplunk.

Lots of balls in a chamber, suspended thanks to a criss-cross of plastic sticks which are sharp enough to take your eye out.

Remove the sticks one-by-one without the balls dropping through.

Wholly representative of trying to get the ball past West Brom's blanket defence and midfield.

Aside from a clever move that Roberto Firmino got on the end of, which would have been one of the goals of the season had he managed to convert it, we created nowhere near enough convincing efforts at goal.

Twister.

Right hand green; left foot blue.

Right foot yellow; left hand red.

All fall down, and reach for the first-aid kit.

Loris Karius playing came as a surprise.

The mat had clearly slipped on the polished dressing-room floor during the pre-match Twister session between the two 'keepers.

There are more Twister injuries over the Christmas period than all other games combined.

Buckaroo.

Place an increasing number of items on a plastic donkey until the weight differential shifts and the rear end of the mule kicks up, scattering said items everywhere and emotionally scarring sensitive children for life.

An analogy for squad rotation perhaps?.

Put an increasing number of items out on to the pitch with each passing week, and cohesion starts to creak a little?.

The rear end of the season kicks up, scattering hopes of success everywhere, and emotionally scarring sensitive supporters for life.

Operation.

A peculiar character with an enlarged nose requires an extensive operational procedure.

He is beset with issues of static, and buzzes incessantly if your surgical skills aren't steady enough.

In testing times, a steady hand is required.

Jurgen Klopp needs to move swiftly but precisely to get his team up and running again.

Some people suggest that we have a squad which still needs some serious reconstructing.

They feel it needs to go back to the operating table, and the January transfer window is opening soon.

We've reached a point where the midfield seems more problematic than the defence.

A central defender of immense purpose is undeniably required, yet I know, from my point of view, I've felt considerably less nervous about our defence of late.

It's a concept which has crept up on me, with the silence and style of a seasoned ninja.

Against West Brom, we faced a few corners when my shoulders didn't automatically seize up.

No signs of hyperventilating either.

Strange occurrence.

The midfield is another matter however.

The 'should I stay, or should I go?' stasis in which Emre Can is suspended does him no on-pitch favours.

While Georginio Wijnaldum can 'get away' with blending into the wallpaper when we're playing with freedom and scoring large quantities of goals, but will be accused of being anonymous on nights like the one against West Brom.

The Jordan Henderson quandary will never be reconciled, while the future of Philippe Coutinho is likely to be away from Anfield.

Adam Lallana is in danger of becoming the new Nick Barmby.

Yes, Naby Keita is to come, but it will take more than that to settle the current midfield swirl at Anfield.

Next Up.

Bournemouth and Arsenal away.

Last season, these games offered some of the best and worst examples of our positive and negative extremes.

A couple of pedestrian and uneventful 2-0 wins will do nicely please.

As if. I'm off to dig out the Subbuteo.

General Snivy's End of 2017 update video - Duration: 9:46.

Hello there everybody, this is General Snivy and welcome to my "end of 2017" update video!

Gameplay this time is from the PC version of Final Fantasy XIII.

Despite having beastly hardware, the game still doesn't run all that well during many

battles.

Sadly, even if you have the most powerful PC hardware on the planet, you still can't

run an unoptimized game very smoothly.

If there are any performance enhancing mods out there for this game, will you let me know?

Anyhow, this gameplay is just eye candy so, enjoy it in the background.

I have quite a number of things to go over so let's go ahead and get things started.

First off, let's talk about my current Let's Play, or lack-there-of.

Yoshi's Woolly World ended last week and I want to take the time to talk about how the

playthrough went and reflect on it as a whole.

The playthrough went by pretty fast and I feel like I've handled it very well despite

a few hiccups during the playthrough, both in-game and technical related.

Going for 100% completion during a blind playthrough is no easy feat, no matter what game I play

and this game was no exception.

The end reward though, was worth the effort and it was fun to do for the most part, even

if the project lasted longer than it should have.

Overall, the game was a lot of fun to do a playthrough of and surprisingly challenging

for those completionists out there who are looking for a fun game to complete, despite

at times feeling like I wanted to go Super Saiyan 2, charge up a Final Flash and then

unleash its full destructive power on my Wii U!

Despite that, it was fun and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a good time and a

very pretty looking game on the Wii U system.

Next up, I'd like to briefly talk about my text update that I shared back in September

of this year (2017).

For those of you who aren't aware of its details, the link to the document is in the video description.

For those who are aware, or if you forgotten what it's about, I'll go ahead and give a

TL;DR of the document.

Earlier this year (2017), The Wallstreet Journal reported that ads were being displayed on

controversial and extremist videos.

Because of this, advertisers pulled all their ads from Google's services and as a result,

Google implanted "Machine Learning" technology to scan through all videos on YouTube to determine

which videos were considered "Advertiser Friendly" and which ones weren't.

Needless to say, it hit gamers such as myself the hardest because we typically showcase

violence in video games and my channel was no exception.

Nineteen out of over 1200+ videos on my channel were hit with what I like to call, "The Yellow

Stamp of Death".

After many months of alterations to titles, descriptions, tags, and thumbnails of those

affected videos, monetization has been completely restored and I am continuing to monitor my

videos to see where the "Evil Yellow Stamp" will strike next and so far, nothing has happened

and I hope that it stays that way going forward.

Now, I would like to share with you all my holiday plans.

I'm keeping this as brief as possible because there isn't much to talk about here.

My holiday plans are that I'm going to be spending them with my family.

My sister is coming up from Maryland to visit us for the holidays and I want to spend as

much time with her as possible before she has to go back there.

As a result, there won't be any more videos posted by me for the remainder of 2017.

Despite this, I will still hang out on social media sites such as Twitter and YouTube, like

I have been.

Don't worry though as I'll return in January 2018 to begin my live stream trial.

Speaking of which...

Now it's time to talk about this live stream trial that I've talked about back in my September

text update.

Because of uncertainties of YouTube's demonetization bot, I've decided to follow in the footsteps

of MadameWario and try out being a live streamer.

Sure, I've done live streams before and done playthroughs of games as live streams.

This however, will be different as it may end up replacing the traditional Let's Plays

I've been doing for the past 7 years.

I'm doing this trial to see how it feels to dedicate playthroughs as live streams separated

into play sessions.

Despite not beginning this trial in the last few weeks of 2017 for...obvious reasons, I

will go ahead and say that the trial will begin on either January 5th, or the 6th and

the game I'm going to do this trial on is: Sonic and The Black Knight for the Wii.

I forgot to mention this but, the live stream trial will be held on Twitch due to them being

more lenient when it comes to playthroughs of games and I don't have to worry so much

about the demonetization nonsense going on with YouTube right now.

Details on how the streams will be structured are still in the works and a time-of-day of

when to do these streams are also being decided.

I will release all updates when it comes to this trial on Twitter, so keep your eyes on

there for them and everything else when it comes to my YouTube channel.

There are a couple more things I want to talk about before closing this update video out

and the first thing is, I've recently purchased some new equipment for the purpose of enhancing

my live streaming setup.

The first thing I'll mention is that I've recently purchased a brand-new webcam!

I've been using my old webcam for a long time now and I felt like it was time for me to

purchase something more professional.

The webcam I decided to purchase is the Logitech C922, or to be technical, the C922x.

This new webcam is of much higher quality than my old webcam, which was the Logitech

C310, and the new webcam can record video at up to either 1280 x 720 at 60 frames per

second, or 1920 x 1080 at 30 frames per second, unlike my old webcam which could only do up

to 1280 x 720 at 30 frames per second, if that.

If you'd like to see a demonstration of the new webcam in action before my live stream

trial begins, check out my SNES Classic Edition Unboxing video which will be linked via, a

card on the top right-hand corner of the screen if your device supports cards.

The webcam used in that video was the new one and it was smooth as butter!

Shortly after purchasing the webcam, I've purchased myself a collapsible green screen

to make my live stream setup a lot more professional looking and from all the tinkering around

I've been doing, it's turning out great so far and I can't wait to put this thing to

the test when it'll be reveled at the very start of the live stream trial this January!

Despite buying this collapsible green screen, I am still planning on purchasing an Elgato

Green Screen as soon as I possibly can.

I'm just waiting to see if I can get enough money through either Christmas gifts, Christmas

cards, or by other means to purchase the thing.

Finally, I want to talk about some real-life stuff.

Over the course of this year, I have been searching for a job within the IT industry

and I've been working with my career adviser and another company, TechHire, and they have

been searching for work for me for a long time.

I'm very happy and excited to announce that they have finally found someone who's willing

to do a work experience with me!

What this means is that I finally have a new job...for the most part!

This work experience is like an internship and I'm working at a Mom-and-Pop store working

on refurbishing computers, laptops and the like and selling them back to customers.

Despite this update going live on Friday, December 15th, I'm recording this update on

December 13th and I have to meet up with my career adviser and my represenitive from TechHire

tomorrow, December 14th.

While I'm at the career center, we'll go over paper work, tax forms, and stuff of that nature.

They are also going to explain some other things related to this work experience and

how long it'll last.

Once all that is done, I could start sometime next week and I'm really looking forward to

this experience!

I'm finally going to be working again, WOOO!!!

It's finally time to put all my certifications to good use!

Man, the second half of 2017 has been a rough, but fun ride.

A lot has happened over this past year that can be interpreted as one of the worse years

in history, but I can't really say for sure.

Anyhow, I am done here and I've shared everything that I felt was worth sharing.

This is General Snivy with the end of 2017 update video.

Thank you all for taking the time to listen to me and I hope that you are all looking

forward to what I have in store for 2018 and beyond!

Hopefully, it'll be better than this year, that's for sure.

Thanks again for watching, Happy Holidays, and I'll see you all later!

Tanki Online V-LOG: Episode 156 - Duration: 6:08.

WARNING: This video may potentially trigger seizures for people with photosensitive epilepsy. Viewer discretion is advised.

In today's V-LOG we'll be telling you about the first holiday contest

and what to expect in the new year,

we'll also be discussing the new Assault mode

and talking about the development of another new mode.

Hello tankers!

This week we had a surprise release of a new game mode - Assault,

and after the first battles we can already say - it's very cool.

Now we're looking very closely at how the new mode performs,

and if you like it, it's possible we'll even have Assault-only tournaments.

Stay tuned for more Assault news in the coming year.

Many tankers liked the new mode, but there were a few sceptics

who had already played it and didn't think it was entirely "new".

For those who were unimpressed we have one more surprise…

Right now we've almost finished working on yet another new mode,

which will appear on the live servers BEFORE New Year.

We call it Rugby.

In this mode you will find 2 bases on the map, but without flags.

Something that's almost a flag - let's call it a ball -

will appear in the middle of the map.

The goal of both teams is to capture it and bring to the enemy base.

And the ball doesn't teleport when you take it from the enemy - you capture it.

It means you need to shoot the tank holding the ball, capture the ball and

then come with it to the enemy base.

If the new mode plays as we expect,

it will be more fun and more dynamic than Capture the Flag and Control Points.

The fight will be intense as both teams struggle for the ball at the same time.

We expect it to be nonstop action from the very start of the match!

We also have another theory:

battles in the Rugby mode will be more popular than any other mode,

especially for the viewers, since you always focus on a single object,

which is almost never in the same place for long.

Rugby, like Assault, will be available only on the new maps, meaning

only in regular, non-PRO battles.

Both new modes will appear in PRO-battles later.

In the current list of regular maps there is no Stadium.

Many will think it's plainly obvious you need Stadium for the new mode,

and we think so too!

Right now we have no details to share,

but we will include Stadium for Rugby in the future,

and we'll share how to play there in future episodes.

TOF eSports tournaments have just finished, and they were huge!

More than 200 tankers participated in Solo - the individual TOF competition.

Welcome the champions!

Best Thunder player was Advokatee.

Tanker Force won the Hammer category.

And in the TOF:Solo Ricochet 1st place took tanker Veteran.

All winners received protection module Spectrum with 20% defense from all turrets,

unique paint Acid and a fully upgraded XT-turret.

Clan tandem - the second and most prestige TOF tournament of the year -

has also just ended, and it was brutal!

We recommend checking out all stream archives, especially Impulse vs Awesomernity.

And the winners of the tournament are tankers from Team Losers, congratulations!

TeamP took second place

And the third place goes to team Vavilon from the clan with the same name

With the Spectrum module and the Acid paint

the winners also got fully upgraded protection module of their choice.

The first holiday contest - 15 seconds to New Year -

has just started and we already received cool entries.

To help you get inspired, let's remember the winners of the past years

Don't forget the rules of the contest:

You need to record a video, wishing your fellow tankers a Happy New Year

Upload your video to YouTube

Send us the link via the special contest form in the description.

And this is only the first holiday contest - more are coming!

Another new Crazy Weekend will arrive very soon,

the fan favorite GAME is being carefully prepared,

and for all who want to make their voice heard

we'll be starting a new contest, where YOU decide who wins prizes!

Follow the news on the Forum and good luck!

Video of the Week

Last time we asked you to show off your Ricochet skills

while wearing the green paint,

and here's the winner that impressed us the most:

Next time make a video about solo parkour in Space mode on any map

while wearing the Metallic paint.

We've already seen a lot of cool tricks, so be original!

One more thing. Small reminder:

all videos sent for Video of the Week must be no longer than 1 minute.

60 seconds is enough to show any crazy kill or parkour trick.

From this point on, all videos longer than 60 seconds

won't be accepted for video of the week.

Last week we may have hidden the code too well

Many even asked if it's in the video at all.

It's in the episode, don't worry.

This year we also keep all contest forms open until the very end for a reason

- you'll have more time to hunt them!

Good luck with this episode.

That's it for today's V-LOG.

Don't miss new episodes and remember to enter the Holiday contests, bye!

Last week Thunder fired at three tanks.

You had to guess how many damage points the tank on the left received,

the one in the red paint.

The right answer is - 703.

Congratulations to the winners and here's the new question:

How many shots will it take to destroy Railgun?

Goodbye!

2 3 Cheers! 2 3 Cheers! 2 3 Drink!

Let me help you.

Mom, please stop him!

What can we do if he falls down there?

It won't be that bad.

It will. He will be drunk, and then he will throw up all over the place and I will have to clean up his mess.

What's wrong with that? If you don't want to clean up his mess, I will do it. I will take care of him, you don't have to worry.

You're being ridiculous. What about my sister-in-law?

Let her wait, there's no rush.

Drink it!

Continue!

Hurry up! Applause!

2 3 Cheers! 2 3 Cheers!

Poor him! He's so drunk!

What can I do now?

You don't have to do anything. Just let him sleep.

Keep him lying in a straight position. He will be awake tomorrow morning.

Yes.

Mom, I need money for breakfast.

That's not enough.

That's only for you and your brother. Oanh and I will have breakfast at home. There is a lot of sticky rice left after the wedding.

- Hoang! Could you buy me some spicy dried fruit? - Ask Mom for money!

No, eating that is not good for your health.

- But I don't like sticky rice. - You are a girl, stop being so demanding. It's not good manners.

Here's your wedding money after all the expense. It's not so much.

Hai has a sensitive palate, so you should use less salt when cooking.

Never use chilies because he's allergic to them.

Yes.

Hai is a taxi driver so he usually gets home late.

Please wait for him and warm his food for him.

Yes.

There's another thing;

Hai drives all day so he will be exhausted at the end of the day.

At night, let him sleep. Don't force him to do anything strenuous!

It's heavy, you can't pull it. Let me pull it!

What are you smiling at?

Nothing; it's just a gift.

I was too drunk last night.

I can't remember anything after that.

I'm curious what I did.

You were just sleeping.

Really?

It's strange. You can be so conscious in the morning.

No one would know that you were that drunk last night just by looking at you today.

Mom said that too.

How can we escape?

We will have to wait for a while.

But I can't wait.

What's wrong?

Hold it for a moment.

I have to go now. A customer is calling.

Do you want to go?

Recently, no one is calling me.

Then you should go now.

<i>So we can listen a dewdrop is singing in autumn.</i>

<i>Our love is being fulfilled.</i>

<i>Listen the laughter from the joyful days.</i>

<i>That's what we have been looking for our whole lives.</i>

<i>Slow down the pace of life so we can listen.</i>

<i>It's time for love.</i>

<i>Who has just slipped through the soft lips?</i>

<i>The glorious sunshine is warming my heart.</i>

<i>I already know that love is waiting, love is far away...</i>

Is that Duyen?

Hello!

Cam is writing upstairs.

She has a cold. I am preparing a steam bath for her.

You can go up and see her.

You have to rest.

- Is that still the same novel? - I can't stop writing it.

You didn't attend my wedding.

I'm sorry.

I'm more suitable for funerals. I'm not suitable for weddings.

Was your wedding great?

Did the dress look good on you?

Yes, the embroidered patterns are amazing. It must have taken a long time to create them.

- It took my mother a year to embroider. - Then why did you give it to me?

When you get divorced, I will give you a more gorgeous one.

Did you wear that dress on your wedding night?

Did your husband like it?/

Cam!

Take your shirt off.

You are getting thinner and thinner. Your bones are about to stick out.

Don't threaten me.

Only take off the blanket when you're sweating, okay?

- Duyen, take care of her for me. - Okay.

Duyen, tell me about your husband.

His name is Hai. He's a taxi driver, and he is two years younger than me.

You've never told me about Hai.

I just met him three months ago.

You're being foolish.

How can you marry him after only three months?

Do you think it's not right?

No.

How can everything be so easy with you?

I... I feel dizzy whenever I think about you getting married.

Don't ask too much. Then everything will be easy.

Did I ask too much?

Obviously; nothing is difficult with a simple person like me.

I met Hai. I like him so I married him. That's it.

After all, I don't even know if I was in a rush or not.

I just know that I have him now. That's enough for me.

Is he attractive?

I don't know. How do you define "attractive"?

I don't know either.

Maybe manly.

What's manly?

To be honest, my Hai is quite simple. He's like a child.

When I look at him when he's sleeping...

... his face is gentle and peaceful, like a kid's face.

And his breath, too; his breath is very pure.

A breathtaking purity.

That's when I have a strange and familiar feeling which I can't explain.

It's like he is a part of me.

I know that feeling.

I forgot that I had an appointment this afternoon.

Who's that important person? Can you tell me?

A person...

That's it.

- What? - Nothing.

I'm guessing who that person is.

There's no point. How can you guess?

It's a man, right? What's the relationship between you two?

Nothing special.

- I don't believe you. - I'm not forcing you to believe me.

You're really... You don't tell me anything.

- I'm feeling tired. - You haven't entirely recovered yet. Take a short rest.

But my appointment is in about 30 minutes. Someone is waiting for me.

Don't worry about you. You're ill, how can you go in this status?

I have to go. I have to send a letter.

Which letter? I can help you.

- Is it okay? - No problem. Just give me the address, and I will take the letter to the person.

I have no choice.

Please bring this letter to him.

He will understand. His name is Tho.

My eyes are so weak now. I stab myself all the time when embroidering such thin silk.

- Why do you embroider that? - It's my responsibility to embroider your wedding dress.

You gave away the previous one. I don't regret...

But I'm old now. My hands are getting slow.

I don't have enough time to embroider a dress like the previous one for you.

I won't wear those wedding dresses. You don't have to do it.

What are you saying?

Did you do anything to her?

Can you guess?

Same old stuff?

They still work.

It's just because she's so young.

That's right. So young and so trembling.

It seems like it's the first time she's seeing a man.

Don't get it wrong; she just got married.

Really?

Don't go. Maybe I have something for your novels.

- Why did it take you so long to get here? - I'm sorry. I fell in the street. I called you but you didn't answer.

I'm out of mind after receiving your call.

I drove like a crazy person.

It's raining so the road is very slippery.

I fell off right at the street corner. It's hilarious.

It turned out to be lucky for me. You are taking care of me.

Why did you call me?

Three foreigners and a distant trip.

That's it?

Stop.

It's weird; it seems like I'm not familiar with this house yet. I have problems sleeping and I also feel uncomfortable.

What's wrong?

I don't know. Maybe it's because I'm used to sleeping with my grandma.

Maybe it's because of the cold weather at night during this season. Do you feel that too?

No, I've been sleeping really well.

That's right. You've been sleeping very well. You even talked in your sleep.

Did I talk in my sleep? Why didn't I know about it?

Because after you talked, you continued to sleep like a baby.

Did I say something wrong?

You said so many wrong things. But it's a secret, I won't tell you.

Hai! Give me the towel!

Hai, give me the towel!

- Why are you staying in there that long, you bitch? - I'm finishing now.

You dirty bitch! You waste a huge tank of water every morning.

See, that's girls! You can't rely on them.

- Same destination? - Yes, same destination.

- How do you do? - I've been having bad luck since the beginning of the month.

It's all because of Thanh.

- What did she do to you? - Do what? You're stupid. I fucked her. Do you understand?

Then what's wrong?

I've discovered that every time I'm with her, I get bad luck the next morning.

- Ah! - That's enough to say that you know nothing about women.

- I already have a wife. - When did you get married?

How was your first time?

Do you want to die?

Hey! Hey! Did you do anything with your wife last night?

What did you just say?

- No, I slept. - Good.

- Odd./ - Unit./ - Odd, 1 million./ - Got./ - Put a million down.

Odd is still available. There's three million left.

- Take three million dong. - Then open the cup!

- Open the cup! - Open it!

Hurry up!

Keep the money organized!

- Even.

- Balance. Even is still available.

- Here. - Two million?

Don't try too hard. You're not clever.

Hai! Which one do you like? This one?

What about this one? What about her?

Don't be shy!

Look at him! His skin is soft as silk.

Are you saving yourself for your wife?

Be careful!

It's my treat today!

You're stupid! You know nothing about women.

Hurry up! Hurry up! Do you have condoms yet?

Who took this?

My money!

Fighting! Fighting! Fighting!

"And this comes from Tay Phuong Pagoda."

"Tay Phuong Pagoda is one of the oldest pagodas in the north of Vietnam."

"In 1749..."

Here's yours.

One medium rare, please.

- Do you recognize this one? - No.

I found these pictures in the wardrobe that Grandpa gave me.

Here's your money.

I don't know this person. Based on the clothes, it must be an immoral person.

Is this Grandpa?

He was very handsome when he was young, right?

They look like sister and brother in this picture.

- But what's the relationship between Grandpa and this woman? - I don't know.

- Did he tell you anything? - No.

You must have known everyone he knew.

Why? It was better if I didn't know some of his business.

Let me ask him.

Sunday 28th March 1948, M came to my house early in the morning.

I didn't know where he drank but he kept throwing up and sobbing till the afternoon.

I feel bad for him, but how can I comfort that broken heart?

21st January 1959.

I can't describe the blush and the softness of his skin.

And his gentle voice, too. Whenever he speaks, I feel like he is shy about something.

Jesus! Just one problem: G is too young.

In no time, the world of hungry and feeble men will eat G up.

That world will destroy G as it did with M, V, and many people before.

That's weird. She mentioned many men here.

But who is my grandpa?

M... V... G... T... Those may be the first letters of their names.

The first letter of my grandpa's name is D. But there's no one like that here.

People in love usually call each other by nicknames.

Do you have any feelings?

There's a picture taken in 1947.

My grandpa looked much younger than her.

Her diaries started in 1948, the same year my grandparents got married.

Listen!

Poor him! He felt into a dead end way.

I don't know if M's wife understands that those things with him are too much.

Always too much.

Why is it "always too much"?

I don't know.

Maybe my grandparents aren't happy,

though my grandma never says it out loud.

Hey! I want to ask you a question.

- What? - What do you think about Tho?

- What do you want to know? - Everything you know about him.

He's working as a tour organizer at an international travel agency. He's 36 years old.

I don't want to know about those things. What do you think about Tho's personality?

- What do you think about him? - I don't know, that's why I'm asking you.

- You met him. - Yes, I met him.

Do you have any impression? Do you?

Yes, yes, but it's too vague and I'm not sure if it's true.

I think that you should believe your first impression.

- Do you love him? - That's another story.

- Be honest with me. - It's complicated.

I want to discover him but somehow I think it's impossible. So I feel like I'm reaching a dead end.

Maybe things will never be clear.

Is there any way to escape this situation?

I wish that I could be as simple as you.

Why is he here?

What did you do? You're covered in bruises.

They may cause you some problems.

It's fine. They're just a little painful.

Hey, be gentle!

- Are you having your meal here, Hai? - You're ridiculous. Are you seeing your brother as a stranger?

- I will go back home to eat. - Stay here with me.

- No, I have to go. - Mom, let him go. Duyen is waiting for him.

- What do you have today? - We have the fish soup that you like.

What's your decision?

I'm busy now but Duyen is not.

Duyen, what do you think? Can you go?

I don't know yet. You surprised me so much that I can't tell you the answer right now.

Duyen has to ask her husband, don't you?

Yes.

I will wait. But don't miss this chance, because it will be very interesting.

And Cam, let me know if you change your mind.

- Are you interested in Tho's offer? - Yes, I love beaches.

- I haven't been to a beach in a long time. Do you want to go? - I can't.

- Go with me! - Don't bother with me. You should go.

- No, I can't do that. - You don't have to hesitate if you really want to go.

- How do you know that I want to go? - I can see it in your eyes.

Here you are.

Four dumplings, please.

Dumplings! Dumplings!

I've just eaten at my mother's house. She made an amazing fish soup today.

- Just try it! - No.

Are you still hurt?

My mother has just applied some traditional medicine for me. I feel great now.

I'm going to go far away for a few days.

To where?

A travel agency invited me to be their interpreter for some foreigners.

What do you think?

It's up to you. If you want to go, then you can go.

- Don't you mind? - I just don't want to sleep alone.

Cam, should I go?

Do whatever you want.

But I want to know your opinion.

I don't mind.

But...

What can I tell you? Just go...

*Japanese* Hello!

What are you doing? Why are you stealing my savings?

- I just want to borrow them. I will pay you back tomorrow. - You don't fool me! You never have any money!

My rooster will definitely win tomorrow. Then I will have a lot of money. But now I need some money for a deposit. Just give it to me.

- No, I won't. I don't care about you and your damn rooster. - Give it to me!

- Give me that! - No!

Bitch! Where are you going?

Go! Go now! Hurry!

- Go! Go! - Stop there! Listen to me!

He took all my money!

You're safe now! He can't chase you here.

- Can you just let me stay here for a while? - I have to pick up my customers.

With this amount of money, how long can I stay in this car?

Maybe we should go now; I have to cook dinner. If I get home late, my father will yell at me.

Don't rush!

My wife is on a business trip today so I will be alone at home; we don't have to rush.

- Isn't your wife at home? So you will have to sleep alone tonight, won't you? - Yes.

- Are you scared? - I like it.

I like sleeping alone, but I've never done it.

Because before I got married, I had to sleep with my siblings; then since getting married, I have to sleep with my wife.

- Why do you ask that? - Because... never mind. I'll tell you later.

What's wrong?

The woman who lived in your house before...

What?

Here's the thing. There was a woman living in that room.

She lived alone and was as quiet as a turtle.

Usually, no one cared about her. But for the whole week, no one saw her leave her apartment.

So everyone broke down the door to check her situation. Then they found out she had died.

My father said it was in the middle of winter. If it was summer, things would have been worse.

- Are you making that story up? - No, I'm telling you the truth.

- Who was she? - No one knew.

I just remember when she was alive, there was an old man who came to visit her sometimes.

Is your wife his grandchild?

I don't even dare to go out at night because once, I saw her sitting at your window.

When she was alive, she used to sit there like that.

Stop talking about this topic.

<i>The beautiful flowers</i>

<i>The pure heart and a romantic life</i>

<i>Have a slower pace of life, so we can listen.</i>

<i>The dewdrop is singing...</i>

Go away!

- Is his dead? - It's all because of you!

You cursed him to die. You bitch! Now he's dead for real.

- You don't have to use this at your age. - What?

It will make you erect all the time.

- I just want to buy it for my father. - That's alright.

- How old is he? - He is 55 years old.

Only three cups per day, before meals.

Tell him to use it properly, or else he will make your mother exhausted.

You... you... bitch... bitch...

Hai!

- He's dead. - Who?

My father's rooster. He died this afternoon.

My father is drunk now. But he will definitely mess with me.

I'm scared.

Why are you leaving your TV like that?

What's wrong with you? Are you scared too?

Can you stay here with me?

- It's me. - I know it's you.

- Have you slept yet? - No, I haven't.

- Why are you calling me at this hour? - It's nothing.

- I just wanted to call you. - At 3 A.M.?

Is it true that nothing happened?

Hello! Are you still there?

Yes, I am.

Tell me; what happened?

It's horrible. The dress you gave me has been torn.

I understand. It's normal. Don't blame yourself.

I'm sad. I wish that you were here.

Was I wrong? I wish that you were here with me.

Go to sleep.

You will be better tomorrow, for sure.

I hope so too.

I will hang up now.

Can I play with you?

She's deaf; she can't hear you.

Poor girl! She is so pretty.

- Do you think that she is pretty too? - Yes, she's so pretty.

- You've just met Tho, right? - Yes.

Has he kissed you?

What a foolish question! Forgive me.

Because it doesn't matter if he did or not.

*Japanese*

Let me help you.

I don't need you.

I have loved him for six years, but he has never ever kissed me.

I'm sick of waiting.

That bastard will never pay me that debt.

What did you just say?

Do you like taking showers under a shower head?

Yes, I do. And a water heater would be awesome, I could take a shower without being cold.

Obviously. But I like using a shower head because the water through one is very steady.

It's not too strong or too weak. And the water falling on the body is like the rain.

The water won't take my breath away.

When I was young, I was very scared every time my father helped me bathe.

He just dunked me in the bath and poured all the water on my head. I couldn't breathe then.

He doesn't usually bathe. And because he always takes the roosters with him, he smells like roosters.

He smells really bad.

But I don't mind.

But he took all of my savings.

They were my savings for the new bathroom.

I'm hungry. If I were home right now, my mother would make me something to eat.

- Do you want to have some noodles? I can cook for you. - Okay, but don't put chilies on them.

- Let me come with her. - Take her away.

Hurry!

<i>Yellow... skin... yellow... hair...</i>

<i>Yellow... afternoon...</i>

What are you going to do?

I don't know. I've done something wrong.

After your wedding, I felt something wrong.

You said you were happy. But when I looked into your eyes, I knew that it was not true.

- You knew it? - Yes.

Your eyes were always staring off somewhere; something was missing. And it made me feel dissatisfied.

And you tried to help me, didn't you?

I'm sorry.

I'm not blaming you. Don't think about it too much.

What happened between Thu and I was my decision.

But after all, he's good.

What happened at the beach?

He scared me and he hurt me.

But that was the first time I felt my body that clear.

How Daisy Ridley Landed The Biggest Role In Hollywood - Duration: 4:42.

Daisy Ridley was plucked from obscurity and cast as scavenger Rey in Star Wars: The Force

Awakens.

Claiming one of the most coveted roles in Hollywood, she instantly became the face of

the new Star Wars trilogy.

Her monumental rise has been a real-life fairytale, but it wasn't just handed to her.

Here's how she landed the role that changed her life.

"Hey, I'm fun and I'm cool, come along on this ride with me."

Dropped out

Ridley honed her skills at England's Tring Park School for the Performing Arts and graduated

with a concentration in musical theater in 2010.

After that, she enrolled in London's Birkbeck University where she studied classical civilization

— but kept going to auditions all the same.

Before long she decided that if she wanted to take acting seriously, she'd give it all

of her attention, and dropped out of school to pursue it as a career.

One of her very first jobs was on an interactive first aid film in which she demonstrates how

to administer lifesaving CPR in a high-pressure situation.

She told Reconstruction Council UK,

"This role was particularly important to me as my godfather had suffered a cardiac arrest

some time before, and his life was saved because there was someone with the knowledge to use

the right CPR techniques on him."

Smaller projects

Believe it or not, The Force Awakens was only Ridley's second feature film, the first being

a 2012 movie called Scrawl created by filmmaker Peter Hearn.

Ridley popped onto Hearn's radar through a connection from the set of a 2012 commercial

for British supermarket chain Morrisons.

Ridley regularly worked on film projects by Andover College students, and all she got

in return for her efforts was a refund on the cost of her expenses.

Hearn recalled being impressed by her strong work ethic, telling The Guardian,

"I think she just wanted to work.

I'm pretty sure she was working in a bar at the time we cast her.

She was overwhelmed with the fact people were offering her work.

Whenever she got cast in anything we all applauded."

In an effort to bulk up her reel, Ridley accepted the lead role in a short film called Blue

Season by filmmaker Georgia Higgins, created as part of the 2013 Sci-Fi London 48-hour

challenge.

Higgins told The Guardian,

"She was focused and giving and open, asking if there was anything she should change or

do.

We didn't have much time for rehearsals and she worked really well with that.

For the first part of the film, she was mostly hanging upside down."

"Really?"

"Yeah."

Moving up

Her hard work was soon rewarded with guest parts in the British medical drama Casualty

and the comedy drama Youngers.

By 2014, Ridley had impressed TV producers enough to start being considered for bigger

roles.

She popped up as an enthusiastic shopper in a season 2 episode of the popular drama Mr.

Selfridge, and she also snagged a role in a two-part Silent Witness special.

Unknown

While all of this onscreen experience was a good start for Ridley, she still thought

she was a million miles away from being able to audition for a Hollywood blockbuster.

Luckily for her, The Force Awakens director J.J. Abrams wanted to cast unknown actors,

just as George Lucas did with the original Star Wars trilogy.

Abrams admitted to Elle that the casting process was scary because of the inevitable scrutiny

ahead for these new actors.

He added,

"So they needed to be actors whom the audience could discover as these characters, not as

actors they'd seen elsewhere.

Ideally, it needed to be people like Daisy — somewhat experienced, but mostly new to

the game."

Nailed it

Abrams took a liking to Ridley right away, but the audition process was still drawn out

and difficult.

Ridley told The Telegraph in 2015,

"I was just one of the lucky people who managed to get an audition and he saw something in

me.

I thought I'd ruined the first few auditions but he saw some potential, I guess, and I

was allowed to come back and read again, and then I finally got the role."

Ridley secured the part with her fourth and final reading, an emotionally charged audition

that later found its way onto the internet.

"I'm a crier.

I'm a big crier.

I cried the other day."

Gym rat

Ridley was understandably thrilled when she got confirmation that she'd be playing Rey,

but she knew that could change if she wasn't physically prepared for the role.

According to Elle, to get into shape for Star Wars, she ate a diet that consisted of "lots

of fish, legumes, and spirulina shakes" and trained for at least four hours a day, four

days a week.

In addition to intense indoor workouts that included kickboxing and wall climbing, Ridley's

trainer had her performing sprints with a parachute attached to her back in the parking

lot of Pinewood Studios.

While undeniably intense, that grueling workout schedule is a small price to pay for a major

part in one of the most beloved film franchises in Hollywood history.

[Cortometraggio] "Quel che non ti dirò mai - Words Unsaid" ITA - Duration: 10:53.

Life is made of small unique moments, you know.

Since we were little they repeatedly told us that every instant should be lived

and deeply appreciated as if it was our last.

Carpe diem it says…

to be honest now everybody says it

also people who don't understand virtually nothing of Latin

they simply say it because "it's cool."

And maybe you'll find that as a phrase tattooed on the shoulder of a beautiful girl

who knows only the Latin dancing...

As it turns out – as a trick of fate

the grown ups who when you were a kid pushed you to try to find to be a hunter of daily pleasure moments

were just the same who...ahm! "What do you want to be when you grow up?"

As if a child could answer as if a child - who just wants to come back home to enjoy TV in the afternoon - could think about the future.

In that time when imagination is unleashed: you can hear "Spaceman" "Architect" "Florist"

But to be honest children don't care

children are still in that phase of the life where the most important thing is to think about the Geography test of the next day.

This is the point Sara: the point is that children, after all, know life more than us.

We who so praise ourselves so highly we spend our whole life following something

and we forget to live.

Think about it...How many of us still appreciate the fresh morning air

the mere smell of coffee, the cautious paths of cars late at night when they are between the buildings

the sun, the sound of rain.

All that life offers us.

We take everything for granted even relationships.

Do you remember?

When we were together and everything else disappeared

when a look was enough to make us burst out laughing.

If only we had thought of it, Sara, if only we had appreciated that.

You never think about how much every minute can be regretted

and every opportunity wasted.

Tell me how many times when taking a picture you think about what it could become...

What memory will come back to your mind watching it

how dense you will feel right there in your stomach.

Why am I saying this? Well...because often moments pass…they become memories even you realize that…

that life takes everything from you.

Bumping into someone like you has not enhanced life as he should have and...poof...you are no longer anything.

Everything suddenly is quiet.

The birds chirping, Sara, if only you knew how much I miss it.

The wind in the hair

the heart beating.

I still feel you inside me. You are alive in an empty soul

the soul of a boy that today at the question "what do you want to be when you grow up?"

He should answer "happy to live."

Yes I'd say so.

But I cannot come back: the station is now empty, trains do not spend more...

and I lost my last connection.

I know you cannot hear me: but promise me you will not waste even a second of your life

live it…live it all the way.

Love it and love yourself

smile

cry

laugh

scream

run

Live my love, live like there's no tomorrow.

Play your game until the final whistle:

you shall be happy and I will be at your side.

Because I can hear you Sara and I will always feel.

I promise.

Don't forget that.

and forgive me if this will be just...

Vlogmas: Vienna Christmas Markets - Duration: 6:46.

Hi guys!

I'm in Vienna, Austria and this is a city that glistens under normal circumstances

and being here at Christmastime just takes it to a whole other level

and tonight I wanted to go out and just walk around some of the different Christmas markets in Vienna

so I'm here at Spittelberg and we'll see what we find.

This market Spittelberg - I'm here because I asked my Austrian friends who live in Vienna

where I should go because there are a ton of markets in the city

and they all unanimously said that I had to come to this market

because it's a little more local, there aren't as many tourists,

and there's these cute little streets

and the market is just all throughout the little streets so you have to kind of wander around.

It's really cute and I've also noticed that although there is lots of food

there are tons of booths of handicrafts and it's really, really nice stuff.

So I think this is the best place I've seen for actual shopping so far.

We found this lovely booth that has maps from all over the world

and I found a postcard of Berlin so I'm going to get it for my friends

because I think it's better than a normal Christmas card.

They have tons of cities and they're all illustrated with things that remind you of that city so that's really cool.

I think they'll like it.

We were just walking through this market and I saw Santa Claus

so obviously I wished him a merry Christmas.

And he came over, he's like, 'Do you wanna get a photo?'

And then I told him I'd been really good this year and he's like, 'Really?

Then I have something for you.'

And I said, 'Really, you do?

And so he reached into his bag and he's like, 'Don't worry, it's healthy.'

And he gave me a clementine and then a handful of peanuts.

How nice is that?

I think he's just this man who's wandering around -

I mean obviously it's Santa - but also it could be just a man who's really kind,

wandering around giving people treats.

So I promised I would share it with Marc.

I am so excited!

We've just come to the central, main, enormous Christmas Market in Vienna at the Rathaus,

which is the City Hall right behind me,

and where Spittelberg was incredibly quaint and cute this one is so cool.

It's enormous.

We've just come and I can't believe how many lights there are.

There's people everywhere.

There's huge rows of food and people selling things

and I see people skating over there

and I just - I suddenly feel like a child because, like, look at this!

Look at this!

Are you kidding me?

This is the stuff that my Christmas Market dreams are made of.

I was very, very attracted to this booth because it looks like a Christmas explosion in here.

Some of the things here seem like they're inspired by Austria, too,

because there's a little skier and then this is one of my favourites.

Look at this guy.

He has a little heart that says 'Wien' or Vienna.

It's just absolutely adorable.

Wie Süß.

Danke.

I think they're brother and sister.

It actually looks like me and my brother kind of.

We need a third one for my sister and then we'd have the full set.

I can't stop smiling.

I just got some food because I'm starving and it's a sausage inside this enormous half baguette.

I've never had this before.

I'm just gonna go for it.

Oh hot!

Oh my god, there's cheese in the sausage.

Did not expect that.

Probably should have read the sign.

You cannot come to a Christmas Market and not get a hot mug of something

so I went for classic Glühwein or mulled red wine

and I have been coveting these cups that people are carrying around.

They have these little red boots and then this angel mug or Engel Tasse

and I really had to have one.

So if you put a deposit in you can either keep the mug

or you can bring the deposit back and get your 4 Euros back which is what it cost.

So it says Christkindlmarkt and on this side it says Rathausplatz

and I just love it.

It's so cozy and it's keeping my hands very nice and warm.

And soon my insides are gonna be warm too.

You cannot beat that.

You just can't.

You can't.

I found one for you to give me: it says 'kiss me.'

I couldn't help getting one last treat at the Christmas Market.

I found this.

It's called a zimt stern or a cinnamon star and it looks absolutely delicious.

And I can't lie, you guys, I was planning to go to more Christmas markets tonight

and kind of look at more of them

but I had no idea that the one here at the Rathaus was going to be this incredible.

It's like Christmas switched into hyperdrive or something.

There are just lights on every surface

and the Ferris wheel

and skating

and the food

and the uplighting on the Rathaus.

Like it's all just absolutely incredible and I found that I just didn't want to leave.

So I hope that you enjoyed seeing two Christmas markets in Vienna.

First at Spittelberg which was really cute in those little tiny streets

and then this one which is just absolutely incredible.

I've loved visiting here so much so I hope that you guys enjoyed it too.

Please leave a comment down below.

Tell me what you thought of this insane Christmas market

and, if you haven't already, subscribe to the channel.

If you like this video, don't forget to give it a thumbs up

and I'll see you in my next video.

I'm gonna eat this now.

Bye!

Why we should stop judge and having expectations? - Duration: 3:52.

How did you master the universal language to touch people from everywhere

in the world? We all are judgmental. Even I will going to talk now about to be

free - so not to judge, not to expect, of course as subject

I am judgmental and I expect something from life. But if you want to

experience something new, to master anything in life, we have to

give chance to this two issues - so no judgment and no expectation. There are my

mottos. And I believe in my artistic path I was really trying to do this as much

as possible. And I approached many different disciplines in that form doing

gymnastics, ballet, jazz, contemporary, improvisation, theater, anything you can

imagine, musical, operette. And that's the reason my language became quite hybrid,

quite mixed. And I believe allowing this mixture to appear in my presentation

catches any type of audience and they can find something close

to them because of this variety in movement and presentation. How important

is to open up to connect to others? Absolutely very important. Otherwise what

happened on stage is very selfish. And I would count myself as an artist

seeing stage as holy place. Let say in all generations we try to

be connected with unknown, with so-called God, or called power, divinity,

supreme powers. And we develop different disciplines - religions or

mystical paths. But all of them actually are just like form that helps us to be

connected with this endless unknown, the big source where we came from and where

we go back. And each time we practice this, we create different languages,

different habits, rituals and spaces - such as churches, mosque etc. And for me studio and

stage are in that sense like holy places. I cannot go to this stage and do just

anything what I want - of course I should do what it comes from me in a

transparent way, but I cannot ignore my visitors. So I should be with them in

contact. They want from the dancer to dance well, to show them good exercise,

movements, good music etc. They have this expectation. But

sometimes purposely I make it ugly or bad just to to say: Hey,

let's forget about expectation, so just let it happen and release yourself,

become transparent. So once you do the journey with the audience together

it works. And my aim is always that - to get them that we travel

together. So therefore absolutely audience is very

important and big part of the of the game actually.
