Super easy, it happened within I think ten minutes, and we had backup up and running.

On April 18th of this year, we spun out of DellEMC and became a stand-alone company again, owned by Insight Venture Partners.

We've grown about 60% two years in a row. Now it's all about delivering value to our customers, and using that value delivery to really grow the business.

The most important thing that we found when the Product Management team talked to customers and prospects, in terms of what data was essential to protect, the documents that are stored in SharePoint were the most valuable.

In 2017, we made our Office 365 product available from a data center in Sydney Australia.

So, Google Team Drives we launched this year. It was one of the most highly requested features we've ever had.

And that's because Google launched it this year, and when they launced it, we very quickly spent all of our resources trying to get that out, because we knew that our customers needed that to protect that shared data.

For 2017, our Salesforce product efforts were mainly focused around refining and enhancing some key restore use cases, but also empowering the developer.

So, community involvement is important. We're trying to be engaged in the community, make this a place that people want to live. We want to make it a place where our employees are comfortable and want to be.

It's been a great year of customer interaction for us, and we really appreciate and we want to thank all the customers out there.

How to Make Fudge Easy Amazing Homemade Fudge Recipe Only Three Ingredients

Hello and welcome back to In the Kitchen with Matt, I am your host Matt Taylor.

Today I am going to show you how to make Fudge, mmm yummy, love me some fudge.

This fudge recipe is super easy to make, and only takes 3 ingredients, couldn't be easier.

One of my favorite treats to eat during the holidays is fudge, so here we go simple easy

fudge recipe, if I can do it, you can do it, let's get started.

All right lets go ahead and take a large bowl, microwave safe, I am using a pyrex one, now

we take one can of sweetened condensed milk, and this can is 14 ounces or 396 grams.

Pour it in, use a spatula to get it all out.

Now we take a quarter cup this is about 56 to 60 grams of butter, go ahead and put that

in there.

And now we are going to go ahead and heat this up in the microwave, until it gets really

hot and the butter melts, umm I am going to do it for 2 to 3 minutes, it might, it will

depend on your microwave, mine is a 1200 watt microwave, if you have an 1100 watt or 1000

watt it might take a little bit longer, just go ahead and start with 2 minutes and see

how hot it gets we want it to be fairly hot, and the butter melted.

All right now that our butter is melted, it took about 2 minutes and 15 seconds in my

microwave.

I am going to go ahead and add my chocolate, now you can use all milk chocolate, or you

could use all semi-sweet, or all dark chocolate, but you can do like I said, you can do whatever

combination that you want, it will be awesome.

Let's go ahead and pour that in there, and then we are just going to let this sit for

a moment in our mixture, just let it sit for about 3 or 4 minutes, and then we are going

to stir it all together.

All right once we have given our chocolate a chance to sit there in the hot condensed

milk we are going to go ahead and start stirring it around, now if you want to add more ingredients,

you certainly can, at this stage you can add nuts, like walnuts, and you can add um vanilla

extract if you like.

All right I am loving this consistency right there, that is exactly what you want it to

be like, it is like a really really thick frosting.

All right, and now, let's go ahead and take, this is an 8 by 11 glass pan, or you can use

a metal one, 9 by 9, whatever shape that you want to do, and what I did is a took some

parchment paper or baking paper in here, and to get it to stay on the bottom, optionally

I just sprayed it with some kitchen spray, and it helps it to stick.

Let's go ahead and pour this all in there, and you want to work fairly quickly it is

not super necessary, to um like rush, but you do want to work fairly quickly, because

it cools down pretty quick, get it all in there, and then just go ahead and spread it

out.

And if you want yours extremely thick then use like an 8 by 8 square pan, if you want

it to be a little thinner, use an 8 by 11, if you want it even more thin use a 9 by 13,

all right that looks so yummy.

Now let's go ahead and put this in the refrigerator, and I am going to leave it in there for 2

to 3 hours, until it sets completely, before we cut into it.

On to that step, all right, after our fudge has chilled in the refrigerator, and has set

completely I am going to go ahead and take it all of there, lift it up, boom, like that,

nice.

Okay, and then go ahead and cut it up into squares, nice, and cut these as big or as

little as you want.

All right and once you are all done you can put them in little boxes for gifts, or you

can put them back in your dish, and just cover it, and store it in the fridge.

There you go, easy three ingredient fudge.

All right our fudge is done, it is super easy to make, three ingredients, if I can do it,

you can do it go out there and make your own.

The Munchers in Munchville loved to Jingle Bell Munch,

All the sweets and the treats—they couldn't get enough!

Gingersnaps and shortbreads and peanutty brittle, Pecan pies with cherry cheesecake in the middle,

Candy canes and pudding cakes, gumdrops and eggnog,

Trifles and truffles and, of course, the old yule log.

Every Muncher went WILD for the sweet Christmas lot!

But, what no one knew was that Santa Claus did NOT.

Though legends of St. Nick claim he's sweet in the tooth,

If you ask him yourself, he'll say it's just not the truth.

"Buckeyes, biscottis, the peanut butter blossoms—

I adore them all but, once I start, I can't stop 'em!

My years in this business have taught me soon enough:

There is always a crash after the sugar rush.

To visit every home 'round the world in one night,

I can't stop for a nap when there's so little time!"

But from every cookie, Santa still took a bite,

Because who likes thinking Santa's on a diet?

With the heaviest heart and a sad kind of sigh,

Santa wrote a letter saying he would resign.

"Dear Munchers, I'm sorry, but I have some bad news:

I'm cancelling Christmas.

My belly has the blues.

All your sweets and your treats, I can never resist!

After so many years, I'm now terribly sick."

Santa sent off the note to the folks in Munchville And when it arrived there, the whole world

stood still.

"No Christmas?!" they all cried.

"No sweet potato pie?

No figgy pudding or sugar cookies stacked high?!"

All the Munchers boo-hooed and bad-mouthed Santa Claus

All the Munchers, that is, except for this one.

Mindy Munch read the note and then hatched a grand plan:

"I can get Santa Claus back in his sleigh again!"

She went to the North Pole and knocked on Santa's door,

Nobody would answer, so she knocked some more.

"Santa!"

Mindy Munch gasped.

He looked very ill.

"Please don't cancel Christmas.

I can help you, I will!"

Santa groaned and he said, "Sweet little Mindy Munch,

All those sugary treats for me are just too much!

After every Christmas, the awful sugar rush Leaves me crashing and sick for weeks,

sometimes months!

I try to take it slow, but I always misjudge."

"But Santa," Mindy said,

"you haven't tried my fudge."

Santa shook his head no, "Fudge is a sugar bomb

"My fudge is sugar free," Mindy grinned, "and low carb!"

Just come to the kitchen, I'll show you how it's made

So you'll have a sweet treat to eat inside your sleigh!"

First, soak some raw cashews and then blend 'em on up

With vanilla paste, butter extract, and fiber syrup.

In a double boiler, heat cacao butter 'til melted,

Then add your blended mix and whisk it all together.

Grab a loaf pan and use some foil to line it.

Pour in your fudge mixture and add chocolate chips.

Pop it in the freezer and that's just about it!

Now let your fudge chill 'til it's firmed up a good bit.

Once it's ready to go, grab it from the freezer,

Slice your fudge into cubes, it couldn't be easier!

Now, this is the best part, all that you have to do

Is take a bite!

Tell me!

How does it taste to you?!"

Santa Claus took his time eyeing the fudge pieces,

He thought, "Sugar-free treats can't be all that tasty…"

After just one nibble, it didn't take too long

For Kris Kringle to see he was so very wrong.

"Sweet mother of Rudolph!"

Santa gladly exclaimed.

This sugar free fudge tastes better than the real thing!

Mindy Munch, you genius, I can't thank you enough!"

Mindy grinned and shouted "Just un-cancel Christmas!!!"

Santa let out a loud "Ho ho ho" belly laugh.

"Spread the news to Munchville: I'm bringing Christmas back!"

Santa was freed from the sugar crash and rush, He would never forget the year fudge saved Christmas.

How to Clean Combines to Limit the Spread of Weed Seeds - Duration: 6:41.

Hi I'm Daniel Smith Southwest Regional specialists for the Nutrientand Pest

Management Program at the University of Wisconsin Madison campus. And I'm Kevin

Jarek, Crop, Soils, and Horticulture agent for UW

Extension Outagamie County. Today what we want to do is talk about end of

season clean-out for combines. As a member of the North Central Region

Cropping Academy, we've developed a protocol that will help farmers with

this process when a combine leaves the field. Most farmers

don't realize that there's a bout of 150 pounds of bio material that leave the

field with it one of the things that we want to discuss today is the fact that

while there is a protocol that exists for identity preserves seed as far as

cleaning combine, our concern is herbicide resistant seed being

transported one from one field to anothe,r and particularly hitching a ride

on the combine. Before we start to clean the combine it's important to talk a

little bit about safety. We want to read and follow all safety instructions that

come with the combine, the compressor, and the leaf blower that we'll be using

to clean the combine. It's also important to wear protective equipment while we're

cleaning the combine. We both have jackets, long pants, and work

shoes on, along with gloves. The first part of our personal protective

equipment that we need to add will be a respirator or a dust mask with at least

a nosh 95 or P 100 rating for the filter size. The second portion of our

PPE includes some sort of eye protection. Good safety glasses or even goggles to

prevent any fine material from flying into our eyes. And then the final step

since we'll be using a loud leaf blower and air compressor would be some sort of

hearing protection, either earplugs or earmuffs.

Prior to leaving the field, run the combine, and

then what we want to do is engage the safety stop and open the rock trap. The

next thing we want to do is open the unloading auger sump. The next thing we

want to do is open the tailings elevator door and the clean grain elevator. Now

we're going to start the combine and separator, adjust the cleaning shoe fan to

full speed for maximum air flow and alternately open and close the shoe SIVs

electronically. Now that we've operated the combine over

a rough terrain for two minutes to dislodge any further material, we're

going to move to the top of the machine to the grain tank. We always want to

clean from the top down. Dan is going to show us how to use a leaf blower to

begin that process.

We also want to make sure after using the leaf blower to get the material that

that is not dislodged by air movement. Here you can see Dan using a knife to

remove kernels that were a part of the safety step. The next thing we want to do

is clean out the unloading auger. We're going to accomplish that by packing

approximately a cubic foot and a half of wood chip material, approximately half

inch in size, into the sump.

Now that we finished cleaning the unloading auger we want to make our way

towards the front of the combine, particularly the header unit. We want to

lift the snouts so we can expose the bio material that's accumulated, and now it's

time to remove this.

Now that we've cleaned the exterior of the header, unit we want to make sure we

clean the interior as well. Now that we've removed the head of the machine we

want to use compressed air to blow bio material from the feederhouse.

now we want to remove the access panels to the rotor and cylinder concave to

clean the threshing area.

Next you want to use compressed air to clean the exterior of the combine your

walk-around remove any bio material that's still on the machine as well. The

next thing we want to do is remove residue from the clean grain auger.

The next thing we want to do is clean the chopper by removing plant material

from the rotor. Now that the sieves are open to their maximum width, all we need

to do is remove the cover. The next thing we want to do is clean the elevators by

opening the lower doors. The next thing we want to do is open and empty the

moisture sensor and then reassemble, andthat will finish the process for us today.

By following the steps outlined in this procedure this should help limit your

exposure to spreading herbicide resistant weeds through your combine. For

so happy that first week when I met him he was saying it's really depleted well

we're building it up rapidly and we'll be at a level like never before but the

members of the cabinet you've been outstanding I like the message that

Nicky sent yesterday at the United Nations for all of these nations that

take our money and then they vote against us at the Security Council where

they vote against us potentially at the Assembly they take hundreds of millions

of dollars and even billions of dollars and then they vote against us well we're

watching those votes let them vote against us we'll save a lot we don't

care but this isn't like it used to be where they could vote against you and

then you pay them hundreds of millions of dollars and nobody knows what they're

doing so Nicky that was the right message at you and I agreed to be sent

it yesterday and I've had a lot of good comment on it really we people are tired

of the United States the people that live here are great citizens and love

this country they're tired of this country being taken advantage of and

we're not going to be taken again in there any longer

Really early this morning, the Senate passed a sweeping overhaul of the nation's tax laws.

The vote count was 51-48.

All Republicans voted for this.

All Democrats voted against it.

Afterwards, Majority Leader Mitch McConnell and several other Republican lawmakers praised

the vote.

After eight straight years of slow growth and underperformance, America is ready to

take off.

Coupled with the regulatory reforms that have already been implemented by the administration,

we now add comprehensive tax reform, major middle-class tax relief and making our businesses

both large and small more competitive.

Now Republicans are almost there, but not quite there yet.

This still needs to head back to the House for a vote today.

All right, so to talk about the politics of how this came together and what this means

for our near term and long term, we are joined by NPR White House reporter Scott Horsley

- also, business editor for NPR Uri Berliner.

Hey, guys.

Good morning.

All right, Scott, I'm going to start with you.

Just walk us through why this procedural thing has happened, why the vote has to go back

to the House now.

Well, Rachel, the House and Senate are required to pass identical language.

And after the House voted for the tax bill yesterday, the Senate parliamentarian ruled

some of the provisions of the bill are out of order.

They don't comply with the special Senate rules that Republicans are using to muscle

this through with a simple majority and avoid a Democratic filibuster.

So those provisions were stripped out of the bill that the Senate passed overnight.

And now that stripped-down version has to go back to the House for a final vote.

The - delays the final passage, but it's not expected to change the outcome.

So this was just a procedural thing, these provisions that were found to be in violation.

This is not going to derail this.

Correct.

There were a number of provisions involved.

One was championed by Texas Senator Ted Cruz, and it would've allowed parents to use tax-free

college savings accounts to pay for K-12 educational expenses at private schools, parochial schools,

even home schooling.

I should say advocates for public schools really hated this provision.

They note that Republicans were limiting the deduction for state and local taxes that support

the public schools while giving wealthy parents a chance to use tax-free money to pay for

private schools.

That provision's now gone.

Another provision would've exempted one school in Kentucky from a new tax on college endowments.

And Rachel, my favorite is that the name of the bill - Republicans have been calling this

the Tax Cut and Jobs Act (ph).

That was a little too sexy for the Senate parliamentarian.

So henceforth, this will be known as an act to provide for reconciliation pursuant to

titles II and V of the concurrent resolution of the budget for fiscal year 2018 - not...

sales taxes.

We still have seven tax brackets.

That hasn't changed.

And in some ways, the tax system is about to get way more complicated.

You know, accountants and the IRS - they're going to have their hands full, especially

dealing with changes in how businesses are taxed.

There is at least one way filing taxes will get simpler.

Fewer people are going to itemize.

You know, that's where people take deductions for things like charitable contributions and

mortgage interest.

Yeah.

About 30 percent of households do that now.

That's expected to go down to 10 percent or even lower.

So those people could use, like, a smaller tax form, postcard style.

Yeah, they're going to use shorter forms.

But we're not going to live in this - suddenly live in this world where doing your taxes

is like filling out a postcard or where people suddenly understand this tax system that they

pay into.

That's not going to happen.

So when this bill becomes law, as it is going to do, what are the biggest changes?

What are the main changes in store for us, for taxpayers?

For taxpayers, well, tax rates will go down, at least for the time being.

There's going to be a larger standard deduction.

That's the amount you can automatically take off your tax bill.

But many people won't be able to pare down their tax bills by taking these significant

deductions for state, local and property taxes.

Is it fair to say the big changes in the tax system are designed to help big businesses?

Well, the benefits are going to companies.

The cuts for - the biggest benefits are for companies.

The cuts for individuals are slated to end after 2025.

The business tax cuts are meant to be permanent.

And beyond that, the biggest share of these cuts go to corporations and other businesses.

So some Republicans, like Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin, say that these tax cuts are

basically going to pay for themselves, more or less.

So which is it, more or less?

Is that true that these things are going to pay for themselves?

Well, the evidence for that is very thin.

Virtually all independent analysts say these tax cuts will increase the deficit, even if

the economy grows a bit more strongly than predicted.

So right now, you have this situation where Republicans - you know, they're supposed to

be the party of fiscal responsibility.

Mostly, they've gone silent about the deficit, and Democrats are talking it up.

They are bringing up the deficit all the time, which they haven't really done much in the

past.

All right, NPR's Uri Berliner.

He's NPR's business editor breaking down the meat and bones of the tax bill that is now

very close to heading to the president's desk.

The House of Representatives needs to vote on it one more time - one more procedural

issue.

It has been exactly three months since Hurricane Maria ravaged the island of Puerto Rico.

The winds are ferocious right now, gusting above 120 miles per hour, severing the tops

of the palm trees and ripping off the board...

Yeah, in the three months since we heard that, the island has struggled to recover, and even

now, many Puerto Ricans are still without power.

Yesterday, some top federal officials visited, promising to speed up these recovery efforts.

We are joined now by Luis Trelles.

He is an editor and producer for the program Radio Ambulante in San Juan.

The Department of Housing and Urban Development - the secretary for HUD, Ben Carson, was in

Puerto Rico - also, the new secretary for Homeland Security, Kirstjen Nielsen.

So they were there on the ground trying to survey the recovery effort.

How did they characterize what's going on?

Well, Secretary Nielsen acknowledged yesterday that the recovery effort wasn't going as fast

as they would like.

And what - the message she took back to Washington from Puerto Rican officials and from residents

here is that the bureaucracy needs to be more flexible in order to get aid and help to people

that still need it.

Ben - Secretary Carson spoke about how impressed he was with the recovery because he was expecting

an island where the sings of disaster were more visible and would be able to take that

in.

Are they not visible anymore?

I mean, just based on your own reporting, can you give us an idea of what - what is

the situation right now?

Yes, the situation right now is of a recovery that seems to be progressing in two speeds.

Most Puerto Ricans are extremely frustrated with the lack of progress, especially in getting

power back to most homes and for most residential areas.

Several people I spoke to told me that they still don't have electricity and that they

don't expect it any time soon.

And there are still a lot of people living in shelters, shelters that still don't have

electricity.

And for people like that, the recovery - there are still no signs of recovery.

The governor of Puerto Rico, I understand, has now requested an audit of the death toll

from hurricane-related injuries.

Is that something that had not been tallied before?

What can you tell us about that?

Yes.

The official death toll still stands at 64.

This has been an issue that has been investigated by the Puerto Rico Center for Investigative

Journalism.

And most recently, the Demographic Registry here, which is the office for vital statistics,

sent out a report that was picked up by several outlets in the national media, stating that

the death toll could actually be more around a thousand.

That's a thousand - well, more people died in the two months after Hurricane Maria than

in the two years in that same time period in the two years before 2016, in 2015.

Because presumably, there are the direct deaths caused by the hurricane, but then indirectly,

many people died, as well.

Radio Ambulante's Luis Trelles reporting on the recovery efforts in Puerto Rico since

Hurricane Maria hit.

Canyon//SRAM Women's Zwift Academy Final 2017 - Duration: 17:41.

- 2016 saw the first ever Canyon//SRAM Zwift Academy

where women from all over the world competed

on Zwift for the chance to win

a pro contract with the squad for 2017.

Now the winner on that occasion

was Leah Thorvilson from the USA

who impressed so much she's back in the fold for 2018.

And 2018 is why I'm here as very soon another

talented rider is going to be awarded

a pro contract for the forthcoming season.

It's why I'm at the Canyon SRAM training camp

here in rather snowy Koblenz in Germany

to find out exactly who that is going to be.

(intense music)

2,160 women from all over the world

enrolled on this year's Zwift Academy,

which involved a structured programme

of group rides, races, workouts, over a six-week period.

That number has now been whittled

down to just three finalists: Siri Hildonen from Norway,

- It will be life-changing but it will be racing

and I love to race, so that will be fun

and actually be a part of a team.

Tanja Erath of Germany,

- Yeah, I mean, it would obviously change my whole life,

I guess, I would have to move and I would

spend my time with cycling and racing,

but it would just be a dream come true.

- And American Bri Torkelson.

- For me, I've simplified my life, and, like, that's

why I work at a bike shop; I want more time on the bike

and that's all I, like, want to do.

Like, that's what I love,

and this would be an opportunity

to be surrounded by the best people

to make me the best cyclist I could be.

(intense music)

- Now before we see what is exactly

going to await our finalists, let's have a quick chat

with last year's winner, Leah Thorvilson.

Leah, it must've been an absolutely incredible experience

to spend a year with Canyon-SRAM

of course now you got a second year as well.

- Yeah, I can't believe it! (laughs)

It's still, you know, it was surreal

at the time that I won, I was literally speechless,

which you don't find me often,

but the coolest thing I've ever done in my life

and I just, I am so blessed to have had this experience

and really looking forward to a second year

hopefully to see, hopefully the year that's behind me

will translate into a bit more

successful year this year on the bike.

- As well as being monitored and assessed by team management

and their potential future teammates

on how they interact and cope with

being part of a team on a day-to-day basis,

the three finalists face three set challenges

designed to determine who has got the potential

to take it to the next level, focusing on strength,

on-bike skills, tactical awareness and application.

(funky music)

So Barry, we're here, the first real test

for our three finalists is a 30-kilometer

race on Zwift on the figure of 8 course.

It's not just about first across the line, though, is it?

- Yeah, no, the main objective in this race is to find out

how they approach the race, find out, you know,

where they sit in the bunch, their positioning,

their forward thinking of what,

their anticipation of what can be next, and, yeah,

and the end of the day we actually just looking to find

the racer in each of these, we're looking for a racer.

- Can't wait to see what goes on.

- Thank you, me too.

- The tension is palpable here in Koblenz, for round one.

Five seconds now to go of this race,

and they are off, here we go!

Big power straight away, this is incredible!

536 watts, 700 watts in the left there from Tanja.

Can they sustain it?

(rapid tempo music)

We're 12 kilometres in and Tanja, Bri and Siri,

well, they thought they were racing in complete

and utter isolation, but they couldn't be more wrong.

Because, the entire Canyon-SRAM

squad are watching from the sidelines.

(squad members laugh quietly)

Tell us what's going on, we're 12k in, we've seen

some fireworks but there's not

much between them at the moment.

- Yeah, Tanja made a brave move in the beginning

riding with a couple of the men and then got dropped.

She had to fight, obviously made another move as you can see

there a group here, we can see Tanja doing 305 watts.

A really nice big group going, working together.

We're really keen to see what happens and what they can do.

- Same here.

(pumping music)

With about 3 and a half kilometres to go now

Tanja has opened up, well, a quite incredible

probably unassailable lead, but it's a real

tight battle for second place.

(pumping music)

Well we're now inside the last kilometre of this race,

and it is Tanja who has got a big lead now.

She is gonna take the victory but it's been very,

very tight between second and third.

What a thriller this has been!

(pumping music)

200 metres to go, come on all the way, all the way!

(crowd cheers) Who's gonna take it?

- [Crowd Member] Go, go, go, go!

Is it gonna be Siri, is it gonna be Bri?

It's gonna be a photo finish on the line!

Who's gonna take it?

Ooh I can't even call it!

It was a photo finish.

(crowd member shouts)

So, Barry, that was a comprehensive

victory by Tanja, but a thrilling finish

for second place, a photo finish almost.

- Yeah, I mean, it was really exciting throughout.

We saw Tanja take a early initiative to go

with the men's group, you know, a big risk in that

'cause you could blow up completely.

A little bit of risk and, you know,

which, we were sitting inside there going,

"That was too much," and then you saw the others come back

and then obviously the early risk made her,

put her in a better position on the climb

and she could benefit from the next group

and consolidated her lead, the other two kept on at it,

and, yeah, awesome to see them fight in the last sprint,

and, yeah, a really, really nail-biting finish,

and exciting racing, and...

- So let's give you some good information

some good insight into how these riders tick.

- Yeah, so I mean, obviously, as we started out

we wanted to look for the racer in them.

The unique thing is that, by clicking through the screens

we could actually see what's going on with their heart,

what's going on with their power,

and have an idea of when they produce it,

when they're investing in their effort

and when they're saving, and that was fantastic to see,

and puts a big spectrum, I like the input

from my riders where they were

interested in the numbers, seeing what they were riding,

what effort they were putting in.

Yeah, so, from a racer's perspective,

from the effort perspective, as you can see the numbers

are a fantastic info session and super fun to watch

and excited to see what the outcome will be

in terms of the overall picture at the end of the camp.

- Fascinating stuff.

(upbeat music)

So Ronny, this isn't your usual weather conditions

for a preseason camp, but of course it's

about the Academy riders today.

What are we gonna be looking for in terms of assessment?

What is the objective today?

- Our aim is to throw them into the unexpected

and the unknown, and see how they deal with it.

That was the aim of the, to have that,

fine of an academy programme here in Koblenz,

for using the bicycles that they aren't used to,

using an environment that they aren't used to,

and trying to find out how they find solutions.

- Sounds good, let's do this.

So a two-hour mountain bike ride in the snow.

We have some of the finest mountain bikers

and road riders in the world.

(sighs)

(funky music)

This will give an insight into how they cope

with anticipating the flow and movement of riders

as well as adapting their pacing and gearing to the terrain.

It's important they can do this while producing good power,

and handling their bikes skillfully and effectively.

(funky music)

The ride took us in a very hilly two-hour loop

in and out of the forest in the

stunningly beautiful Rhine Valley,

featuring fire trails which included

some very technical rutted and rooted descents and climbs,

all of which provided the ideal opportunity for Barry,

who was riding with us in the group,

to witness and assess the bike handling ability

of Siri, Tanja and Bri, in some

extremely challenging conditions.

It was also a lot of fun.

(funky music)

Well there we go.

That was one serious mountain bike ride.

That was cool wasn't it?

- Super cool, now we're nice and dirty.

- Absolutely filthy.

That's part of the charm, though, isn't it?

- Oh, tea! - Exactly!

- Yeah, time for tea!

Hot tea, good morale, snow, what is not to love?

(funky music)

The last challenge will determine

how the finalists cope with riding on the wheel

in a dynamic race-like situation.

First up, each of the finalists will take part

in leading out one of the Canyon-SRAM sprinters

before they, themselves, get the chance

to be lead out by a member of the team,

the objective being to study how well they communicate

as well as looking at their technique

on the bike and, importantly, how they handle

themselves in the bunch at speed,

in close proximity to the other riders.

(upbeat music)

The objective in this scenario is for the Academy riders

to look after and deliver their partner to the finish line,

whilst also dealing with attacks

from the other riders in a race-like scenario.

Siri will be with Pauline, Tanja with Tiffany,

and Bri will be leading out Hannah.

Alexis Ryan is the first to go, launching a big

move early on on the three kilometre gradual rise

to the line that will be used in each test.

Rather than chase her down immediately,

the Academy riders must show discipline, not panic,

and most importantly, look after their partner,

as well as trying to smoothly neutralise any lone attack.

Just as a domestique would in a real race.

The test will not only look at their bike-handling skills,

but also their ability to make decisions under pressure.

After the attack from Alexis was brought back,

following a solid effort by Siri to try and negate it,

it was the turn of former triple world champion

of cyclocross, mountain bike and road,

Pauline Ferrand-Prevot to go on the offensive.

Given her current good form, she soon opened up a gap

that looked difficult to close.

You can hear Tiffany instructing Tanja not to panic,

instead, to gradually try and close things down.

Pauline manages to stay out in front,

and a couple of counterattacks came

from Elena Cecchini and Alexis Ryan,

with Tanja doing a long turn to carry Tiffany over the line.

Tanja here really showing how powerful she is.

(upbeat music)

Race two will see the pros lead out the Academy riders,

giving a real insight into how well they can follow a wheel.

Add to the mix cold conditions and wet roads,

and this will be a stern test of skill and confidence.

Hannah Barnes will be paired up with Tanja,

Tiffany will deliver Siri to the line,

whilst Pauline is with Bri.

First to launch is Alena Amialiusik,

who immediately gets some daylight.

As Siri closes down the Belarussian,

midway through the group Bri loses the wheel of Pauline

and swerves off-road and into the verge,

only just keeping the bike upright

but losing all momentum in the process.

Up the long drag, former British road champion

Hannah Barnes piles on the pressure

and splits the group, but like glue

and looking remarkably composed is her partner Tanja.

The rider in third spot is Elena Cecchini,

while Siri fights to remain in contact.

With Barnes job done and the group decimated,

Tanja moves into the wind and ups the tempo

to the extent that Elena cannot hold her wheel,

leading Tanja to time trial the last 500 metres

to take a very convincing win.

(upbeat music)

But just how did our finalists fare

in the lead-out challenge this afternoon?

- The first round we could really see a lot

of communication from the riders.

We saw Tanja really rides really well

with her communication trying to help her athlete.

Obviously, we had Pauline really strong

and they couldn't do anything about her,

but then, swap it around and put the

responsibility on the Zwift finalists,

we saw the clear winner from there

in terms of that competition.

Hannah was really patient and lots of things were happening

and she had Tanja on her wheel,

Tanja was sitting really patient behind her,

trusting her, trusting her knowledge,

trusting her experience, lots of attacks going away,

but Hannah chose the moment to start

putting on the pressure, went to the front,

kept it nice and high and yeah, I mean,

they got rid of most of the riders,

and she could've just sat there

but that killer instinct took over

and she put a blistering attack in to take

the win solo, and well done to Tanja.

- So some great food for thought

when it comes to the final decision.

This is the final evening now of this

week-long training camp and there's nothing more

that our Zwift finalists can do apart from sit and wait.

Awaiting, of course, the decision on

who's gonna be a part of the Canyon-SRAM team in 2018.

Now, it's not just Barry, Ronny and Beth's decision,

of course, the new member of the squad

is gonna be an integral part of the team,

so who best to help that decision than the squad themselves?

And that is what exactly is going on behind me.

(dramatic music)

So guys, the moment has nearly come.

You've had a chat with the team,

obviously clearly and important process,

getting their view on how the three finalists

have kind of integrated themself within the team,

both from a physical and a kind of psychological perspective

but overall Ronny, what's your general impression been

on the quality of the three Zwift finalists?

- I think it has been a good selection

of the three finalists, they have different personalities,

different strengths, and we need to find out now

who we think fits in best, and but, overall

it's gonna be a tough decision that we have to make.

But there, yes there can only be one winner.

- And I shall leave you to it, and well, we only have

a few moments to go to see who is gonna be

riding for Canyon-SRAM in 2018.

now to three finalists here with Kate from Zwift.

That's Siri, Tanja, and Bri.

But of course, there can only be one winner,

and that winner will be rewarded with a contract

exciting few days getting to know the finalists,

getting to know the person behind

the screen, behind the numbers,

but, as Matt said, there can only be one winner,

Bang Si Hyuk, the CEO of Big Hit Entertainment, is preparing for a new boy group for the first time since creating BTS.

In a recent interview, he revealed his plans on debuting the new group by using the same "success formula" that he used to create BTS back in 2013.

He wouldn't specify his secret strategy, but it will most likely deal with social media.

It makes sense as Big Hit has largely benefited from social media in growing BTS to global giants.

BTS had the most engagement on Twitter this year with over 502 million likes and retweets.

Their number crushes global figures like Justin Bieber and Trump, who recorded 22 million and 213 million respectively.

But BTS fans won't have to worry about Big Hit focusing more on their upcoming group.

Bang PD wants to generate as much revenue as the top American stars for BTS, which will most likely be his priority.

Either way, fans around the world are very curious about Bang PD's upcoming boy group.

Bang Shi Hyuk had also touched upon the possibility of making Big Hit Entertainment a public company.
